THIS JUST IN: Lil Kim is ready to shake things up with a brand new album. Meanwhile, don’t look for Omarion and his girlfriend Apyrl Jones on the next season of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” because they will NOT be returning. Deets inside...

Is the rap queen coming back for her throne? We think so.

Before rocking the stage alongside Mary J. Blige at the “Hot For The Holidays” concert, Lil Kim sat down with Hot 97 where she revealed a new Lil Kim LP will be dropping in 2016!

She spilled,“I’m working on a new album for next year. I put up a post not too long ago, I was at my old record label. So maybe. Hint, Hint.”

Here's the post from a few months ago:

Kim hasn’t dropped a full-length album since 2005, but she has been feeding fans since then with her Black Friday mixtape in 2011 and Hardcore 2k14 mixtape in 2014.

Later in the interview, Kimmy also talks about her baby girl Royal Reign (who’s 17-months now) and their plans for the Christmas holiday. Check it above.

We knew something was up when Omarion and Apyrl Jones were not present for “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” reunion. (Which was honestly for the best.)  And now we know why.

The R&B crooner and his pregnant girlfriend, who’s due to have a baby girl in March 2016, will NOT be returning for season 3. Yep, the non-drama couple has decided to end their reality tv run to concentrate on their music and their growing family.

Apyrl sat down for an interview with ESSENCE Live to officially make the announcement. She was asked why she and Omari didn’t make it to the reunion and that’s when she dropped the bomb. She explained,

“We didn’t go to the reunion because Omari was on tour and I was with him with our child. But umm, we are NOT going to do next season.”

The soon-to-be mom of two said they never worried about the reality tv “curse” because they have such a strong bond. Y’all know how quickly relationships dissolve after appearing on reality television. But apparently, that was never an issue for them.

“We have a strong bond,” Apryl said. “We just knew coming to reality TV we just knew nothing was going to change that. We’ve never been worried about the ‘show curse’ because when we walked into Love * Hip Hop filming knowing what we were prepared for. They had a lot of respect for me and Omari so we weren’t really worried about that. We knew we would be ok walking in and walking out.”

Well good for them. You can check out the entire interview here.

Now we wonder if maybe they’ve nabbed their own spin-off, especially with everything they have going on in their lives. Time will tell….
