Rapper Freeway is being treated for kidney failure and we've got a statement from his camp about his progress.....
Rapper Freeway, who hit it big in 2003 with the track "What We Do" is undergoing dialysis after being diagnosed with kidney failure. The Philly-native was diagnosed following a recent routine checkup with his physician.
He was posting as normal to Instagram just a couple days ago, even performing on stage.
Shortly after his routine trip to the doctor, Freeway wasn't feeling well so he reached out to his physician who told him to go to the emergency room. Soon after, we're told the physician had the rapper check himself in the hospital due to severe kidney problems that went unnoticed until now.
TheYBF.com reached out the Freeway's road manager who told us the rapper is doing well and is expected to make a full recovery. By the way....he's receiving another round of the treatment today, so our prayers go out to him.
Freeway's upcoming Free Fest concert and showcase at the Electric Factory (which he's advertised on Twitter and Instagram), are still set for Saturday, September 19th, but that all may change.
