We can always expect some type of “over-the-topness” at the MTV VMAs. And this year, Amber Rose and Blac Chyna hold the crown. Get the deets on their matching outfits and see pics of Tyga, Jussie Smollett and more hit the carpet inside…
Sister Code actress and entrepreneur Amber Rose brought her SlutWalk straight to the 2015 MTV VMAs red carpet inside the Microsoft Theater in L.A. tonight.
Besties Amber and Blac Chyna rolled onto the scene making a bold statement in their matching outfits. The former strippers rocked ensembles with words painted on them such as “slut,” “whore,” gold digger,” “b*tch” and “hoe” in neon colors.
While chopping it up with red carpet correspondent Kelly Osbourne, Amber revealed the meaning behind their eye-catching looks where she said, “They call us sluts and whores all the time, so we just embrace it.” She then added, “I have slut written across my vagina.” Oh Amber….
Oh...and before they stepped out of their Uber ride, Amber and Chyna served up a bootylicious twerk video straight from the backseat. Doing the absolute most for a cause. Check it below:
Chyna’s ex-fiancee and baby's daddy Tyga hit the carpet solo, sans his girlfriend Kylie Jenner. The reality star was also there, but she hit walked the carpet with her family and sat and held hands with Tyga afterwards.
T-Raww pulled his chains back to show off his "police/SWAT team" t-shirt, highlighting the controversial issue of police brutality.
“Empire” star Jussie Smollett took a break from the hip hopera’s production to hang out at the VMAs. He was on hand to present the Video With A Social Message award alongside his co-star Serayah.
Jussie's co-star Gabourey Sidibe worked the carpet in a purple and black dress accented with lace. Season 2 of "Empire" returns to FOX on September 23rd at 9/8c.
R&B singer Tinashe (who just wrapped up touring with Nicki Minaj) strutted her stuff in a checker printed mini and thigh-high boots. We feelin’ it?
“Vampire Diaries” star Kat Graham also made a bold statement on the carpet in this heavily printed Versace frock, Fiona Kotur lantern clutch, black Casadei pumps, Roberto Coin & Vita Fede jewelry.
Do we love it?
G.O.O.D. rapper Big Sean, who’s a single guy these days, walked the carpet solo. He picked up his very first VMA for the Best Video With A Social Message award for his track “One Man Can Change The World,” featuring Kanye West and John Legend. (Fun Fact: This was John Legend’s first VMA win as well).
MMG rapper Wale showed up in an eclectic look.
Straight Outta Compton actor (and the sexy son of Ice Cube) O’Shea Jackson Jr. still has us swooning, looking EXACTLY like his pops.
Power 105 radio personality Charlamagne was on the scene to help host the red carpet. Getting those MTV coins.
And Jaden Smith was spotted getting swarmed by fans trying to snag a selfie. Fun times.
