Lil Wayne's Lil Weezyana Fest went down last night at Champions Square in New Orleans. We've got all of Lil Wayne's friends who showed up--old and new--and his ex-wife and daughter who came out to support. Get it all inside...
As the 5-0-4 commemorates the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and celebrates the Survivor spirit of New Orleans, Lil Wayne brought some star power to the city for a big concert night.
The outdoor festival plaza connected to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome was packed to capacity as Weezy took everybody back to the good ol days of the Hot Boys, the original Cash Money Millionaires, and topped the night off with Young Money's Drake and a few other surprises like Master P, Big Fredia and more.
Weezy's daughter Reginae Carter was there to support her dad alongside her mom and Weezy's ex Toya Wright. The twosome ran into Solange Knowles who has been living in the N.O. for a while.
Despite rumors of a beef between the two, Drizzy showed up for his Young Money President Wayne and rocked the stage for a bit:
The two hugged it out and Drake performed his Meek Mill diss "Back 2 Back," "Know Yourself" and more.
New Orleans native August Alsina posed it up with Drake backstage.
Folks from New Orleans would definitely understand this flashback: Ms. Tee showed up as a special guest and so did Big Freida.
And the biggest move of the night: The Hot Boys reunion. Juvenile, Manny Fresh and the crew tore down the stage with their classics. Check out all the videos below:
