Kanye West is set to receive MTV's highest honor at the 2015 VMAs plus Tiffany "New York" Pollard and Damon Dash have booked a new VH1 reality show.  Deets inside...

This Sunday, August 30 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, Kanye West will receive the VMA’s highest honor, the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, in honor of his career-spanning groundbreaking videos, legendary VMA performances, and continued impact on music, art, fashion, and culture.

From the “Jesus Walks” trilogy to the imagery of “Bound 2,” “Blood on the Leaves,” and “Otis” with JAY Z, Kanye's visual have always pushed the boundaries of artistry.  And hopefully he'll be happy about getting recognized for it.

He'll join a list of prestigious past Vanguard recipients including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Peter Gabriel, Guns N’ Roses, Beastie Boys, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and BEYONCÉ.

Miley Cyrus
is set to host and The Weeknd is the latest celeb added to the performer's list.

Along the same lines of its former hit show “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew,” VH1 is coming with a new celeb-driven reality series dubbed “VH1 Family Therapy with Dr. Jen."

In a statement from VH1 and the producers (John Irwin’s Irwin Entertainment) the execs hope to watch celebs heal past wounds or solve deep-rooted family issues right before our eyes.  So, of course Dame Dash and Tiffamy Pollard are the first YBF celebs up to bat to showcase their family's dirty laumdry for some tv time.

"VH1 Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn" features five families at a crossroads in their relationship as they undergo three weeks of intensive family therapy. Under the guidance of Dr. Jenn Mann, the participants will participate in group and individual therapy along with relationship exercises out in the “real world” to see if they can rebuild their relationships -- or if it’s simply time for them to move on.

For season one, they've booked Tiffany "New York" Pollard and mother Sister Patterson (shown above on the set), celebrity exes Dina Lohan and Michael Lohan (which should be VERY interesting), Reality TV star Bam Margera and mother April Margera, "Teen Mom" Briana Dejesus and sister Brittany Dejesus and Damon Dash and brothers Jeremy Dash and Bobby Dash (shown below with Boogie Dash and their father).

From what we've seen of New York during her other VH1 appearances and "any" random Damon Dash interview, we expect the drama to be high. The series will debut in 2016.
