Lupita Nyong'o broke necks when she hit the carpet and we can thank her longtime hairstylist Vernon François for that. The gold hair pics in her high afro really stood out. Fab chicksJanelle Monae and Zoe Kravitz had their crowns done by hairstylist Nikki Nelms. Chick gave Janelle a long braid with 3D floating “Air kisses” and braided up Zoe in some straight backs:
3D hair art and cornrows at the Met!
Makeup artist Jessica Smalls served up "painted fruit" face glam for The Dirty Computer.
The face beat was FLAWLESS and meshed perfectly with Janelle's overall look.
She's Polished's Anjaneth (Angie) Aguirre did her thing on Janelle's nail art. Details, people! Janelle's whole dress was literally on her nails:
Can't forget the nails! Angie did that.
Oscar winner Regina King served up royalty realness when she showed up at this year's Met Gala. Makeup artist Oslyn Holder worked her magic for the fierce face beat:
She didn't have to do much to make Regina beautiful as ever.
Hairstylist Tiffany Lamb got the chance to work with Regina for the Met, and she was OVER the moon:
Makeup artist Rebekah Aladdin gave fans a sneak peek at the pre-Met Gala action before EMMY winner Lena Waithe hit the pink carpet. She did a beautiful job:
Erik " The Barber" Ryan made sure Lena's cut was extra crispy.
And hair colorist Gabrielle Corney made sure Lena was a total blonde bombshell on the carpet.
