We're not sure exactly what happened, but multiple unconfirmed reports claim the two allegedly got into it while filming.  Apparently, both of them were backstage at the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert Tuesday night at Irving Plaza in NYC before Remy was slated to join Fat Joe on stage.  Something then apparently led to Brittney getting a black eye, according to her.

TMZ reports:

Our law enforcement sources say there's an open assault investigation stemming from an altercation at the event, which included a female being punched. No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made.

The site also says the alleged fight was about Remy's stepdaughter (and Papoose's daughter):

Brittney claims they "exchanged words" in the greenroom -- relating to an attack on Remy's stepdaughter, Dejanae, that happened a few weeks ago -- and Remy threw the punch. Brittney claims Remy accused her of knowing about the attack on Dejanae.

Brittney gave more details - and a pic showing her black eye - to the Daily News claiming she was defending Dejanae from an abusive man who was beating her up:

“What happened with me and Dej in Miami is I saved her—I saved her life, and [Remy] got aggressive [when Brittany told her at Irving],” she said.

“She was like, ‘That’s not what I heard,’ and she punched me in the face.”

"[Remy]’s supposed to be someone with the status and power that she can use for good or bad,” she said. “She shouldn’t be punching someone — punching someone so hard in the face to the point that here we are four days later and my eye’s only getting worse. It really hurts.”

Now, Brittney has seemingly lawyered up.  Her lawyer ended up deleting the above annnouncement, but according to treports, cops are indeed onvestigating Remy.

Remy, who is currently on parole ater serving six years in prisonfor attempted murder, seems to be unbothered by it all though:

The throwback episode will revolve around a younger version of Tracee's character, Rainbow Johnson, set in the 1980s. The episode is rumored to be the backdoor pilot for a potential spinoff series. The reported plan is to test out the episode before the network decides if it wants to move forward with a potential series. If the spin-off gets the green light, it'll be the 2nd spin-off from the EMMY nominated series, following Yara Shahidi's "Grown-ish."

Tika is set to play the mom of a young Rainbow. "Champions" star Anders Holm will play her father. The adult versions of Bow’s parents, Paul and Alicia, are played by Anna Deavere Smith and Beau Bridges. Folks have been sounding off on social media since Anna Deavere Smith is a totally different skin tone than Tika, so we're not sure how that'll work continuity wise.

Young Bow will be played by Arica Himmel, who appeared in "God Friended Me" and starred in "Thanksgiving." Other actors to join the episode include Ethan William Childress as Johan, Mykal-Michelle Harris as Santamonica, Gary Cole as Paul's father, Harrison, and Christina Anthony as Alicia's sister, Denise.

The throwback Rainbow episode will premiere Tuesday, May 7th at 9pm EST on ABC.

Will Smith - who just wrapped up filmingBad Boys 3 with Martin Lawrence - touched the Coachella stage for the first time and did so during his son Jaden Smith's set at the popular music festival.

With 10 minutes left for his show, Jaden brought out his pops to perform his track "Icon" during Weekend 2 of the festival. Last year, Will released his own version of his son's track for the Reggaeton remix. And he killed it! He even rapped in Spanish, thanks to help from Nicky Jam, who appears on the original song with Jaden. So, it's only right Will hit the biggest music festival stage of the year with his son to spit his bars. The audience went CRAZY once Will appeared on stage.

"This is my first time ever on a Coachella stage and I love y'all," Will told the audience.

A St. Louis teacher - who is reportedly HIV positive - has been accused of molesting one of his students and then conspiring with his boyfriend to put a hit out on the alleged victim and his family. More inside...

This is a whole new level of EVIL.

A St. Louis teacher with HIV has been accused of taking a student out of his class and molesting him. Three years later, police say the teacher tried to hire a hitman to kill the child he allegedly molested and his family.

According to KSDK, Deonte Taylor, 36, and his accomplice/boyfriend Michael Johnson, 66, both pleaded not guilty to several charges during their court appearance this week.

It's alleged Taylor, who reportedly has HIV, was working as a teacher's aide at Lusher Elementary in 2015 when he molested a 7-year-old student. Police allege he took the student out of his classroom into another classroom to sexually assault him. At the time, charges weren't filed even though the child reported the assault and it's unclear why. After the boy reported the incident again, Taylor was arrested and brought up on charges in November 2018 after his DNA matched samples found on the student, who is now 10-years-old.

Months after his arrest, while he was still behind bars awaiting trial, police say Taylor and his boyfriend Michael Johnson tried to hire a hitman to kill the young boy and his mother.

PEOPLE reports:

In Nov. 2018, Taylor was charged with three counts of first-degree statutory sodomy with a child, according to court records.

The documents allege Taylor asked someone identified only as “C.I.” to murder the boy and asked Johnson to pay C.I., which Johnson did.

After the alleged incident(s) in 2015, Taylor went on to get other teaching jobs. He was reportedly fired from the Hazelwood School District in 2015 for an unrelated policy violation following the abuse allegation.

After Taylor was fired by Hazelwood - but before he was charged - he ended up nabbing a job in Ferguson-Florissant School District at Walnut Grove Elementary school where he reportedly taught fifth grade. KSDK questioned the district about its vetting process to find out how a man who was accused of molesting a child was able to work in the school district. The district claims since Taylor was never arrested or charged following the 2015 incident, he passed a mandatory background check.

"Mr. Taylor went through the same process that all of our teaching candidates go through. Everyone goes through a criminal background check, sexual abuse registry background check and there was nothing that showed up on that," said Kevin Hampton, district spokesperson for the Ferguson-Florissant School District.

Come to find out, Taylor was also still being paid by the Ferguson-Florissant School District while he was in jail:

KSDK: "So he was behind bars, accused of molesting a student and he's still getting a paycheck from the district?"

District spokesperson Kevin Hampton: "Everybody receives due process, and he had an opportunity to have due process when those initial charges were filed. When the subsequent charges were filed, it became clear that he was not going to be returning and at that time, he was terminated."

Taylor reportedly faces felony sodomy charges. Both he and his boyfriend face conspiracy to commit murder and witness tampering charges.

Since the beginning of the year, rumors about a budding romance between Jesse Williams and Taylour Paige have been swirling. And the alleged couple is keeping the rumor alive with their coupledom spottings.

We first noticed the "Grey's Anatomy" star - who's going through a messy divorce from his ex-Aryn Drake-Lee - and former "Hit The Floor" star rocking semi-matching coats during this year's Sundance Film Festival back in January. Jesse was promoting his movie Selah and The Spades. Meanwhile, Taylour didn't have any movies being shown at the festival.

Fast forward to February, Jesse and Taylour were seen holding hands as they made their way inside the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood to attend Beyonce and Jay Z's Oscar party together.

Now, they're all boo'd up while soaking in everything Coachella has to offer during Weekend 2. They love a good festival don't they?

Celebs are sending out prayers for famed director John Singleton. He reportedly has been hospitalized after suffering a stroke. More details inside...

Legendary director John Singleton is reportedly hospitalized.

B. Scott first broke the news about the Oscar nominated director, reporting he was in the "hospital after suffering a stroke." At the time, his condition is reportedly unknown.

Soon after, more details about the 51-year-old director's hospitalization comes out. Singleton's family tells TMZ John had flown back from Costa Rica and  the flight may have triggered the medical emergency. The source tells the site the stroke has been described as "mild" and that doctors are performing tests and also doing rehab. He's reportedly at Cedars Sinai in L.A.

Celebs, including Snoop Dogg, Nia Long, Omar Epps, and more, served up an outpouring of love for Singleton on social media, praying for healing and a speedy recovery:

George Zimmerman has been creating fake alias on dating apps to bag chicks, but thankfully he keeps getting blocked and banned. The latest inside...

George Zimmerman is really out here trying to bag him a woman via dating apps.

Zimmerman - the man who was acquitted in the death of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin six years ago, has been posting up fake alias on the dating apps, like Tinder, in an effort to find him a "mature woman" and "carefree fun."

On Tinder, the 35-year-old was going by the name "Carter" and describes himself as a self-employed consultant and a graduate of Liberty University. His profile also says he enjoys hiking, fishing, the outdoors, takeout from Longhorn Steakhouse and - here's the kicker - he would prefer to avoid “large crowds.” No surprise there. He tried to make his profile as appealing as he possibly could, sharing several pictures of himself, one featuring him shirtless (ugh), one of him in a cap and gown, and another one of him all smiles with his dog. This guy...

Now, Tinder has banned Zimmerman from their platform. A spokesperson confirmed in a statement that his profile has been removed.

“At Tinder, we take our users’ safety very seriously and our team has removed this profile from our platform,” the statement read. “We utilize a network of industry-leading automated and manual moderation and review tools, systems and processes — and spend millions of dollars annually — to prevent, monitor and remove bad actors who have violated our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use from our app.”

This isn't the first time Zimmerman has been booted and banned from dating apps. Back in February, he was booted from dating app Bumble TWICE. In his Bumble profile, Zimmerman referred to himself as a "jury consultant" with only a high school education, who loves cake pops.

The New York Post reported Bumble sent them an email confirming they took his profile down for violating their terms of service.

“George Zimmerman was blocked and banned in December 2018 when we first discovered his profile,” the service wrote to the news organization. “We have blocked and banned him again after we were informed by our users that he had created a new unverified profile.”

It's also reported that Zimmerman was using OKCupid as well under the name "Jorge."

In a message he sent to a woman on OKCupid, he wrote, "Hi! You're very pretty! I'm fairly new on here. It's led to a few cool women and some great dates. One of my best dates was going ice skaing for my first time ever. I busted my ass quite a few times, she burst out laughing each time and the ice kept me from bruising. What's your best/funniest first date been?"

The person responded back, "There isn't a special app for, like, you and Casey Anthony? [the woman accused of killing her daughter]"

Sterling K. Brown will be bringing his talents to "The Marvelous Mrs Maisel." More inside...

Sterling K. Brown is one of the lead star on NBC's hit series "This Is Us." However, he stays with another gig outside of the show.

The Golden Globe winner has joined "The Marvelous Mrs Maisel" for a guest starring role in the upcoming third season. If you watch the show, Mrs. Maisel keeps the attention of a dapper gentleman, and Sterling K. Brown will likely be one of the handsome men in her orbit.

The Black Panther star announced he would be joining the show in a video he posted up on Twitter. “I’m eastward-bound,” he said in the clip. “I’m going to do a little TV show—maybe you’ve heard of it—The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel."

The two-time EMMY winner (above, spotted making his way to the set of the show) also thanked the show’s creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino for including him in the series.

Kanye West brought his Sunday Service to Coachella '19 to celebrate Easter Sunday. And it was ...interesting to say the least.

For fans who were not attendance, the Sunday Service streamed online and in true Yeezy fashion, he attempted to make it as artistic as possible. Viewers literally watched the performance through a peephole. It's the first time the event has been held publicly. We wonder if he's going to pull a Beyonce and release some sort of project that will reveal the entire performance - minus the peephole situation.

On top of a hill, the PABLO rapper, his choir and live band (all dressed in Yeezy-inspired "church clothes") ran through gospel versions of cover songs and also remixes to his own original tracks. He also previewed one of his newest songs titled, "Water."

Not only did Kanye West have tons of folks gathered around to see his Sunday Service performance, he also had lines wrapped around his merchandise booth.

The self-proclaimed creative genius decided to sell "church clothes" at unholy prices during the festival. He had socks for sale that had slogans like "Church Socks" and "Jesus Walks" (a reference to his 2004 hit track from his College Dropout album) for $50 a pair. Hoodies and t-shirts were up for sell with religious phrases like "Holy Spirit," Trust God" and "At The Mountain" printed across them. Prices for sweatshirts range from $165 to $225. A plain poncho with no text at all was on sale for $75, t-shirts were $70, and he sold white sweatpants for $135 with the word "Sunday" on one leg and "Service" on the other. The merch is also being sold online via his website.

Whitney Houston's BFF Robyn Crawford is about to release a tell-all book to set the record straight. More inside...

Robyn Crawford - the longtime best friend of late singer Whitney Houston - is about to spill some tea.

When Whitney first hit the scene she was always spotted with her best friend Robyn Crawford, a woman she met as a teen in school when they were living in New Jersey. Throughout the years, there were rumors - often repeated by Bobby Brown - that Whitney and Robyn engaged in a romantic affair, however, neither of the women ever addressed an alleged lesbian relationship. This doesn't come as a surprise since Whitney was married to Bobby Brown AND being openly gay or bisexual wasn't as accepted back then as it is now.  Not to say it's completely accepted now, either.

Now, Robyn (who also served as Whitney's assistant) is writing a book to tell her story in a tell-all book titled, A Song for You: My Life with Whitney Houston.

Since Whitney Houston's untimely death in February 2012, Robyn has kept a low profile, allegedly staying low key with her family in New Jerey. She was asked to be interviewed for the 'WHITNEY' documentary, which she declined to appear. In 2016, Bobby Brown revealed his ex-wife was bisexual in an accompanying interview with Us Magazine as he promoted his memoir, "Every Little Step: My Story."

Teairra Mari isn't worried about paying 50 Cent the $30K she owes him after he won that revenge porn lawsuit she filed against him. She's set to drop visuals for her track, "I Ain't Got It." Meanwhile, Fif is trolling T-Mari by trademarking her new slogan/track. Well, kinda. More inside...

Teairra Mari was ordered to pay 50 Cent $30,000 after a judge ruled in his favor in the revenge porn lawsuit she filed against him. The ruling was made in January and she still hasn't coughed up the cash. She told him on social media he's never going to get that money from her.

Fif has been trolling T-Mari on social media demanding his coins, and she has been poppin' right back. She came up with a diss track titled, "I Ain't Got It," aimed at the "Power" producer, basically telling him she's not paying him a dime.

Over the weekend, the "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" star announced she was gearing up to shoot the video to her new song via Instagram. Someone in the comments asked her,"How you gonna pay them?," referencing the $30K she owes Fif. She responded,"With no mind." Bloop!

About a week ago after T-Mari released her diss track, she decided she was going to sell "I Ain't Got It" merch.

It didn't take long for 50 Cent to ignite his petty levels by coming after her bag. He registered IAintGotIt.com, so when you go to the site, it directs you to his GUnitBrands.com website where he's selling his own "Ain't Got It" merch. He's selling $35 t-shirts with the phrases "I Aint Got It" & "She Ain't Got It," as well as iPhone cases. He also offered a promo code "BitchAintGotIt" for $30 off $200 orders.

Fif also said he filed a trademark for her catchphrase, so we went and checked. He trademarked "I Ain't Got It 50," "I Ain't Got It Fif" and "She Ain't Got It."

However, he (nor T-Mari) has filed for "I Ain't Got It," which has been abandoned since 2011. It's unclear why Fif didn't scoop up this trademark, but T-Mari better get on it if she's about her business, and if 50 isn't already in the process of doing so:

Janelle Monae served up an electrifying performance for Weekend 1 & 2 of Coachella ' 19, bringing her eclectic style and retro-futuristic tunes to the main stage.

For her final performance at the popular music and arts festival, the Dirty Computer gave a personal shoutout to Beyoncé, following the release of her "Homecoming" documentary on Netflix that featured Bey's Coachella debut performance. Mrs. Carter became the first black woman to headline Coachella in the festival's history.

Before performing her last song, Janelle raised her finger up in the air to salue Queen Bey.

"Another thing!," she yelled out to the audience. "Shout out to Beyoncé. She opened up so many doors for women like me," she explained.

Then, the Electric Lady popped off about Trump.

"Another thing! Impeach Trump," she said as the crowd erupted in applause and cheers.

THEM magazine tapped Janelle Monae to cover their newest issue, and chick served up perfection...topless. The magazine rounded up Lizzo to interview Janelle for the LGBTQIA+-focused imprint.

“The beauty of art is that it reveals itself over time, even to the artists who create it,” Monae told Lizzo during the interview.

Janelle Monae - who's currently dating actress Tessa Thompson - opened up about her musical journey and how she likes to challenge herself to grow for each new project.

“With ArchAndroid, I knew what I wanted the content to be, and I used the tools that I knew how to use at that time to create it,” Monae explained. “In my projects, I always challenge myself to grow and learn my voice and how to stretch beyond what I can comfortably do. ... So as I grow and as I’m taking in information and growing at this exponential rate, I try my best to create music and albums that support that, that allow me to completely be all of me.

“With Dirty Computer, I made a bigger declaration to myself — that I’m not putting out an album if I can’t be all of me. You’re gonna take the blackness, you’re gonna take the fact that I love science fiction. You’re gonna take the fact that I am a free ass motherfucker. Monae also opened up about being a black, queer woman in America and how the industry still hasn't caught up when it comes to the LGBTQIA+- community.

"To be young, queer, and black in America means that you can be misunderstood. You can be hated. It also means that you can be celebrated and loved. And I think there’s a lot at stake when you’re living out loud in that way. One thing I’ve realized even more was that when you walk in your truth, you can inspire and encourage people to walk in theirs. ...

" I think the entertainment industry has not caught up. We’re making some waves, but we can do better. And again, it’s about normalizing and telling more stories, and inviting more LGBTQIA+ folks into the conversation on the front end, and giving us a seat at the table early on. Because we can’t afford to see things in a binary way. That’s not how the world works."

Towanda Braxton has a new man, and they're already doing vacays, vlogs and all that.  Meet his fine self inside.

Towanda's been hiding her new relationship for a while now, but she certainly doesn't need to. Her messy divorce from Andre Carter has been settled for a couple years.

Whether Towanda wanted it out there or not at this exact time didn't matter once her little sis Tamar Braxton figured out the tea.  Towanda previously told her family her new man's name starts with an S, but she refused to give them details.

On the latest episode of "Braxton Family Values," Tamar had a hunch it could be their former producer Sean, who would only say he's "seeing somebody." He's also the cousin of producer and writer Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, so there's definitely history there.  

Sean ended up telling on himself when Tamar tripped him up with a question about his fave drink. Bloop.

“If y’all want somebody to keep y’all secret, I am her!” Tamar exclaims. “You say you had been here, you had the sherbert drink … that’s her drink. I am here for the secret, ’cause I ain’t stupid. I ain’t gonna tell nobody. I ain’t gonna tell nobody. I promise.”

Ha.  Now, Towanda and Sean are posting selfies together, taking ski vacays together, and working on couples vlogs:

Another reboot of sorts is in the works.

ABC and late night TV host Jimmy Kimmel has teamed up for a live event that will pay tribute to two iconic TV classics, "All In The Family" and the spin-off show, "The Jeffersons."

Actor/singer/comedian Jamie Foxx and actress/comedienne Wanda Sykes have been tapped to play legendary characters George and Louise "Weezy" Jefferson in the upcoming 90-minute live re-creation titled, "Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear's All in the Family and The Jeffersons."

Both Jamie and Wanda are hilarious and can act, but Wanda doesn't really give us "Weezy" vibes. No shade, just sayin'.

The live event is going to be star-studded as several Academy Award winners have signed on to play some of television's most iconic characters.

THR reports:

Woody Harrelson taking on Carroll O'Connor's famed role of Archie Bunker. Jamie Foxx will play George Jefferson in the role originally made famous by Sherman Hemsley. Lear and Kimmel lead an exec producing team that includes Brent Miller (Lear's Act III producing partner), Gary Sanchez Productions' Will Ferrell and Adam McKay and Justin Theroux. The live event will re-create an original episode from both of the Emmy-winning Lear comedies. Lear and Kimmel will host the night, with 10-time Emmy winner James Burrows (Will and Grace) set to direct.

The one-night-only event will also see Marisa Tomei play Archie's beleaguered wife, Edith Bunker, and Wanda Sykes as George's wife, Louise Jefferson. Ellie Kemper will play Archie and Edith's daughter, Gloria Stivic; Ferrell will appear as George and Louise's friend, Tom Willis; and Justina Machado — the star of Lear's since canceled One Day at a Time reboot — will play George and Louise's housekeeper, Florence Johnston. Additional stars will be announced soon.

“The fact that a group of Oscar winners eagerly agreed to play these iconic characters is a testament to the greatness of these shows and their creator, Norman Lear. To be a part of this is a dream come true for me and for everyone involved," Kimmel said.

Added Lear: "They have said over and over again that these two shows were meant for the '70s and would not work today. We disagree with them and are here to prove, with two great casts depicting All in the Family and The Jeffersons, the timelessness of human nature. I cannot wait to see what these glorious performers make in our time of these indelible characters, and I couldn’t be more grateful for Jimmy Kimmel, Sony and ABC for their collective willingness to conceive and pursue this never-been-done-before event."

The one-night-only live event will air May 22nd at 8pm EST. You tuning in to see your throwback faves be re-created?

By the way, Cali's dad just signed a contract extension with the team that drafted him in 2016. He signed a four-year contract extention with the New York Giants which is worth $41 million accompanied with a $10 million signing bonus. T.I. and "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Scrapp DeLeon teamed with New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, where Jamal Bryant is senior pastor, to give nonviolent offenders an opportunity for a fresh start. More inside...

This Ressurection Sunday was a special one for 20 nonviolent offenders and their families.

Rapper T.I. and "LAHH: Atlanta" star Scrapp DeLeon teamed with New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA to bail out 20 individuals just in time for Easter.

The rappers, along with Senior Pastor Jamal Bryant and his church raised $120,000 to provide bail for first-time, nonviolent offenders in four Georgia counties, including DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett and Rockdale.

The church created the "Bail Out" program to give men and women a second chance.  According to the AJC, the initiative started as a grassroots effort led by the church where a $40,000 local challenge within the New Birth congregation was launched. It quickly grew to $120,000!

“I looked at what was happening in the prison pipeline and realized that the church voice had been muted on the issue of prison reform,” Bryant told the AJC. “I realized that we needed to be part of what was taking place.”

And they're doing more than just releasing people from jail. The men and women bailed out through the program will be given job training resources and will be required to meet with mentors on a weekly basis to ensure that they stay on the right track. Also, some of the funds will go towards the college education of the children of the individuals who were bailed out. Nice!

Saturday was an amazing experience I had the honor to partner with Dr. @jamalhbryant for #BailOutDay he and @newbirthmbc set a goal of 40k to release inmates behind bars for Non Violent offenses. He exceeded his goal and raised 140k and used part of the money to set up a trust fund/college fund for the kids at #CitizensTrust bank. The released inmates were ever so thankful. The initiative is something the "LAHH: ATL" star can relate to. He was released from prison in October 2018 after he was sentenced to 5-years in jail and 15 years probation on drug trafficking charges.

11Alive spoke with a woman named Sylvia who said her nephew was pulled over in Atlanta and arrested. Just as she was trying to get him out of jail, the church came through to bail him out. "We didn't make a whole lot of progress before we got the phone call from my nephew saying that a church was going to bail him out," she said. "And we were overjoyed when we got that news. It was unbelievable for us."

Shoutout to T.I., Scrapp and New Birth creating change in their community! We hope they get as much praise as folks are falling over themselves to give certain other folks who recently started caring about the justice system.

Well, that was semi-quick.  Former NBA champ Alonzo Mourning and Tracey Mourning split after 22 years of marriage a couple months ago, and he had a snowbunny on his arm for Easter.  Pics and deets inside.

Alonzo Mourning is still living in Miami after retiring from the Heat back in 2008.  He and his now estranged wife Tracey Mourning made the city their home for decades and have a $4.5M mansion, but now they'll be living it up separately.

The couple of 22 years announced they have separated, which took plenty of folks by surprise because both always talked about being head over heels for each other.

All wasn't as perfect as it seemed though, because Alonzo and Tracey called it quits, announcing in February they “quietly separated a couple of months prior.”  Neither have spoken on the separation directly, but sources say it's amicable.

And Alonzo wasted no time finding someone else to spend his beach time with:

Guess he said he's not spending any of his retirement solo.

The seven-time All-Star and Tracy, both 49, have lived in South Florida since 1995 when he joined the Miami Heat. They got married two years later in Anguilla and share three children: oldest son Trey Mourning, who played basketball at Georgetown; Myka, 18, and Alijah, 9. 

Tracy runs her HoneyShine organization which has worked with more than 1,500 girls, whom she named “Honey Bugs,” to mentor and help them with the college admissions process.

He said he was bar hopping with his cousin and his girlfriend - dressed in the bunny suit - when he saw a white man spit on a black woman outside the Underground Public House bar in downtown Orlando.

"I just ran over there," he explained. "Like, I didn't have time to ask anyone to unzip me from the suit, none of that. I didn't even check for cars. I just ran across the street."

Once he made it across the street, he said he was just trying to break the fight up. Apparently, the aggressor got on top of the woman and that's when McDondald got mad and started punching the atta to get him off the woman.

People have been sounding off on social media about how other grown a** men stood there and recorded versus trying to help the woman.

The highlight of the clip is at the end when he starts shadowing boxing as if he's Rocky Balboa.

Now, here we have this black man doing a good deed and what does white media do? They dig up his criminal past.

The Tampa Bay Times reported on McDonald copping some criminal charges in the past for burglary, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, amongst other charges. We'd be remiss in not mentioning the fact it was dug up and published publicly already.  But we're not going to harp on it since his act of helping has nothing to do with his past charges.

They love to drag a black man at inopportune times in certain media don't they? While we don't condone robberies and harassment, he's still a hero for stepping in to help a woman when no one else would.

Will is back in his action star bag for his upcoming movie Gemini Man.  And it's him versus....him.

While the movie isn't yet complete, Will's already dropped the trailer.  Gotta love an over achiever.

The premise: Henry Brogen, an aging assassin seeking to exit his career, finds himself going against a younger clone of himself who can predict his every move.

Fun fact: The "Gemini Man" concept was originally developed by Darren Lemkeover 20 years ago!  It was originally sold to be produced by Walt Disney Pictures in 1997 with a totally different set of producers and directors attached. Disney's now-defunct animation/visual effects department The Secret Lab developed a test short, known as Human Face Project, to create visual effects for the film.  They were originally creating a younger CG clone of the main actor, who was slated to be Harrison Ford, Chris O'Donnell, Mel Gibson, Jon Voight, Nicolas Cage, Clint Eastwood or Sean Connery. 

Disney passed on the project because the technology wasn't developed enough.  Their loss was Will's (and Paramount's) gain.

Gemini Man hits theaters October 11, 2019.  It also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Benedict Wong, and Clive Owen.
