Travis Scott doesn't care what y'all are talking about. He's going to get these Super Bowl coins. Deets on his headlining pre-show, plus what Nick Cannon said about the ASTROWORLD rapper inside...

Everyone had an opinion when it was announcedTravis Scott would be hitting the stage during this year's Super Bowl halftime performance with Maroon 5 and Big Boi. But, the ASTROWORLD rapper could care less.

The 26-year-old rapper is after that bag and will get it by an means necessary. Even if it means pissing off folks who have been protesting the league alongside former 49ers QB quarterback, Colin Kaepernick.

It has been announced that the ASTROWORLD rapper, who's up for three Grammys this year, will also headline Pepsi's Super Bowl weekend party at Planet Pepsi in Atlanta on February 1st.

Billboard reports:

Scott, who will headline the event and will be joined by yet-announced special guests, recently announced a second leg of his popular Astroworld Tour. He'll already be in Atlanta that weekend, since he's joining Maroon 5 for their Super Bowl halftime show the following Sunday, along with Atlanta native Big Boi. Scott only signed on to the halftime show after the NFL agreed to join him in donating to a cause for social justice.

Leading up to the party, Pepsi is partnering with four Atlanta-based artists to create murals inspired by the city’s local culture. Starting this week, clues will appear on Pepsi’s social media channels to locate the four murals, and fans can potentially win tickets to the party if they share a selfie in front of one of the displays.

After it was announced that Travis was performing at the Super Bowl, it was reported that he "consulted" with Colin Kaepernick before accepting the gig. Folks from Colin's camp spoke out against the reports, revealing he NEVER approved the "Sick World" rapper hitting the stage for the Super Bowl.

Nick Cannon recently sat down with Raquel Harper for an interview on BET's "Raq Rants," where he explained why he has an issue with Travis performing for the Super Bowl, but not Big Boi. He said Travis doesn't have the "cultural equity" to perform at the Super Bowl, unlike Big Boi. He said Big Boi is FOR the culture, and Travis is not.

"I'm team Kaepernick all day," Nick said. "I call it cultural equity. So, we not mad at Big Boi for being on the Super Bowl. He's for the people. But for someone like Travis Scott, he's gotta walk gingerly."

When asked what Travis has to do to prove he's for the people, the "Masked Singer" host said he needs to have integrity. Oh, and having a baby by Kylie Jenner doesn't help either.

"It's more about truly having integrity to who you are in your music and your art form, the people you interact with, the people you choose to procreate with. ... That decision wasn't for the culture, but we not mad at you!" he said.

"I love white women!" he continued. "Let's set the record straight! But that's the thing: It's cultural equity at the end of the day."

Folks have been cancelled Travis Scott after comments he made about Mike Brown, the unarmed teeanger gunned down by police in Ferguson, Missouri, in an interview from 2014. He was asked to share his thoughts about the situation, in which he responded, “I'm kind of angry, so many black people are acting like fake activists...I’m not saying he deserved to get killed. But I’m not saying that he didn’t deserve to pay for consequences he probably inflicted.”

Las Vegas better get ready because Cardi B and her twerk-filled performances are about to take over. And the takeover will come sooner rather than later.

The "Money" rapper just nabbed a residency to debut Palm Casino Resort's new club KAOS, a dayclub and nightclub amphitheater-style complex, according to the AP. KAOS is part of the Palms’ $690 million renovation that features state-of-the-art technology designed to enhance performances including a rotating 360-degree DJ booth.

Bardi's residency will kick off in April, so you have a few months to get your coins together to see her in action.

Above and Beyond, G-EAZY, Kaskade and Skrillex are among the other artists who will have exclusive residencies at the complex.

So yeah, career-wise, everything is great. She's performing at the Grammys and she has been busy shooting a new project over the last few days. While all of that is great, she misses the "old days."

When we say the "old days" we're referring to the days when everything was all good between the "Be Careful" rapper and her estranged husband Offset. Bardi has been posting up tweets and flicks on social media, seemingly gushing over the "Motorsport" rapper on daddy duty and yerning for the "D".

So New Edition has a new edition...couple's edition.

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Shamari DeVoe and her hubby/New Edition & BBD singer Ronnie DeVoe have created their own group, Me and Mari, and they're currently on the promo trail to chop it up about their relationship - yes, the open marriage was real - and their new music.

Yesterday, the couple appeared on "Windy City Live" to perform their new single, "Love Comes Through" and....yeah.

Well, not bad bad. It's hard to put into words. They started their performance with a shoulder bounce dance move.  We wonder what Uncle Brooke Payne would have to say about this routine.

The DeVoes dropped in on Angela Yee's "Lip Service" podcast with producer Rico Love to chop it up about sex, love, and marriage.

The BLAQUE singer said she knew immediately she wanted to marry Ronnie, however, he didn't feel that way. It took him THREE years to even commit to being her boyfriend.

They said they met at an afterparty for MTV's Icon Award ceremony for Janet Jackson in 2001 and had sex the first night they met.

The couple dished on their open marriage being a storyline on "RHOA." They said they knew it would eventually come out, but they didn't know it was going to come out the way it did. Before going on the show, they said they asked God to show them a sign if they should do the show in the first place. They said he did and he opened doors for them to be on the show.

Before Shamari nabbed her official girlfriend label, she was paying for his flights and helping him pay his bills. Oh?  Yup, when she first met Ron, Shamari (who was 21 and Ronnie in his 40s) was the breadwinner. They discuss that a.  And we have our own thoughts about that, but it seemd to have worked out for THEM in the end.

This was during BLAQUE's prime. So, after 2.5 years, she gave him an ultimatum. Ronnie said they were already together every day and taking trips so she needed to be "rewarded" and that's why he committed to her. He said everything she gave to him should be rewarded, so he gave her the OK to be in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.  They eventually got married.

Whatever works for them, as we can see they're madly in love.  Different strokes for different folks, just make sure everything is ALWAYS mutually beneficial...

Chris Brown is still in Paris, dancing it up in the streets and hanging out with his rumored girlfriend Ammika Harris. He also has officially filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman who claimed he raped her. Meanwhile, someone broke into Chris' daughter's mom Nia Guzman's home. Everything inside...

Chris Brown is STILL in Paris after he was released from custody when a woman reported to police she was raped by the singer and people in his camp. One would think he would have hopped on the first plane out of Paris, but NOPE. He has some unfinished business to tend to first.

The Grammy Award winning singer is currently in the middle of shooting the visuals for his song "Back To Love."

He was spotted busting out some dance moves in the streets of Paris on Wednesday with a whole production crew. According to TMZ, Breezy coughed up 6-figures to make the music video, so he wasn't going to let the rape allegations keep him from pushing this video out. Not only is he working on the music video, but he's also reportedly working on another project with a dance studio.

While in Paris, he has been hanging out with his rumored girlfriend Ammika Harris (pictured above) in between his projects.

After they were spotted all boo'd up at Cirque Bonheur nightclub over the weekend, the alleged lovebirds were seen again hopping out of a van in front of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel - the same hotel the woman claimed the"brutal" rape went down.

You'll notice, Ammika looks A LOT like Chris' ex-girlfriend Karrueche. He certainly has a type.

It's reported Chris will be jetting out of Paris today (Jan. 24th).

As for his legal issues...

The "Loyal" singer vehemently denied the rape claims and said he was going to file a lawsuit for slander. And he made good on his promise. He just filed a defamation lawsuit against the woman who made claims he raped her inside his hotel.

TMZ reports:

The lawyer, Raphael Chiche, filed the complaint Thursday ... titled "false accusation, committed on January 18, 2019." It appears this is more than a civil defamation case ... according to the doc obtained by TMZ, the lawyer is citing a criminal statute relating to invasion of privacy. A violation of that law carries a maximum 1-year prison sentence.

According to reports, police found major issues in the woman's story, which resulted in Chris NOT being charged.

A source has been feeding TMZ info about the case:

One source directly connected to the case tells us, "The weakest part of the case is the alleged victim's statement to police."

We're told she told cops that Chris raped her in his hotel suite dressing room for somewhere between 25 and 30 minutes. She says she then went into another room and was raped again, this time by one of Brown's friends. And then, she said she was "abused" for a third time in another room. We're told police believe the story doesn't hold water because she never attempted to leave or alert anyone of the 20 or so people who were in the living room.

Right or wrong, we're told that's why cops made the decision to release Brown without any conditions, including surrendering his passport. A source close to Brown says police actually apologized to Brown when they let him go.

 

While all this is going on, Chris Brown's daughter's mother is also going through it...

Nia Guzman's LA apartment was burglarized, but luckily, she and daughter Royalty Brown were not there when it happened. Apparently, she went NEXT DOOR to her mother's house, leaving the door unlocked, and that's when the culprits got inside:

Sources close to Chris' baby mama tell TMZ ... someone entered Nia's apartment Tuesday night and stole a ton of designer bags and shoes belonging to Nia, her oldest daughter and the former couple's daughter, Royalty.

And, get this ... we're told Nia was visiting her mom in the apartment next door when the heist went down.Our law enforcement sources confirmed the burglary ... and we're told LAPD is investigating, but there aren't any suspects or leads yet.

It's interesting ... we're told Nia believes someone's been watching her routine, because they struck while she was at her mom's place. We're told Nia left the lights and TV on while she stepped out, but her door was unlocked.

Meek Mill made a promise to fight for criminal justice reform and he's holding true to that. The MMG rapper, Jay Z, Van Jones and other bigwigs have launched a smart new criminal justice initiative called the REFORM Alliance. Deets inside....

When Meek Mill was released from prison in April 2018 (after "violating" his probation), he made a pledge to fight for criminal justice reform to give a voice to the voiceless.

The Philly rapper just joined forces with Jay Z, Van Jones, and the owners of the Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets and Super Bowl-bound New England Patriots to launch a new criminal justice initiative called REFORM Alliance. They made the announcement at John Jay College in NYC yesterday.

"I'm here to speak for all the people who don't have a voice," the "Dreams & Nightmares" rapper told the audience.

"I got caught up in the system and every time I started to further my life with the music industry — from traveling the world, performing worldwide and actually making money to be able to provide for my family and take them out of their ruthless environment, every year or two was something that always brought me back to ground zero and it was probation and I always wondered what happened to people in situations worse than mine," he said.

It's interesting.  Jay and the NFL def don't see eye to eye about the role the league plays in black men's voices being supressed.  But Patroits owner Bob Kraft sides with former NFL QB Colin Kaepernick, so Jay brought him on as an ally of sorts. 

The organization, which will be led by CNN's Van Jones, will aim to reduce the number of people affected by parole and probation law by 1 million over the next five years.

Jada Pinkett Smith - who played Lisa Cooper in the movie - is spilling a few deets on what viewers can expect from the upcoming sequel. We may see the Flossy Posse reunite for an international trip.

"We had such a good time," Jada said during an interview on BUILD Series in NYC. “I really miss them. We stay in contact. We haven’t been able to all get together in a while, but I’m hoping that we’re gonna have this deal figured out so we can make a Girls Trip 2."

The Hollywood titan - who has been receiving praise for her Red Table Talk Facebook Watch series - said they have discussed two international locations for the Flossy Posse to explore. And they are?

“We talked about Rio and South Africa," she disclosed. “We’ve talked about doing a sequel, so we’ll see if it happens, but I think with the success of the movie it will happen … It’s just done $30 million at the weekend, so I’m so proud. They’re saying that we’ve taken rated R comedies out of their slump, so it’s a nice moment for us for sure. The movie has a lot of heart and great messages about empowerment and living your truth so you get a little bit of everything.”

The YBF actress spoke to SHEEN magazine about her troubled character and sheds light on how she became the mother of a white girl:

Yes, very troubled. Jimmy Lee, who—this whole miniseries is based on a true story and it’s a page out of the Black Dahlia, very film noir-esque—finds Fauna, this little girl, Caucasian girl, in a hotel bathroom and raises this little girl as African-American. And of course, Fauna grows up knowing something’s wrong, something’s off. Jimmy Lee is someone who’s very—I mean, I have empathy for her, and do think other people will as well—but she’s very damaged, she’s got dealt a card, you know, that—life didn’t work out the way she wanted it. She takes a lot of it out on Fauna—there’s a lot of resentment, a lot of anger and a lot of sadness—and even through all of that, I do believe Jimmy Lee loves Fauna but has lied to her pretty much her whole life. And now the story starts with the two of them, in this sort of, co-dependent bond, and Fauna, in turn, leaves to go and find who she really is, where she comes from.

Running into an ex is ALWAYS awkward, but Angela Simmons& Bow Wow crossing paths has us cringing.

Lil Mo and her hubby/boxer Karl Dargan (aka Dynamite) are making their press rounds for "Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition." The couple stopped by at Power 105's "The Breakfast Club" the explain why they went on the show and much more.

During the interview, Mo was asked about her "beef" with YouTube star/singer Queen Naija. You may recall, the "Superwoman" singer criticized Queen (who's pregnant) over her performance at the 2018 Soul Train Music Awards and folks were on her neck about it, calling her a bitter betty.

Mo explained she never said Queen couldn't sing, but maybe she shouldn't perform while pregnant.

I know when I’m pregnant, and I got a lot of kids, I don’t sing," she shared.

The R&B songbird then went on to explain more in depth why she has a problem with Queen. And it has everything to do with disrespecting legends in the game.

"The backstory is, [gospel singer] John P. Kee is my uncle. That’s how I got started in the game. That’s who’s suing her now for stealing his old melody. But then when she was talking crazy about my uncle, talking bout, ‘Well tell him we need to go preach the gospel song.’ Woah woah, we not doing that, sis! Since when was it okay to disrespect the legends and the OGs?"

"Now there's some muthaf*ckers that get on my nerves, but I know, if they came before me, you show them respect. I don't care what they do. That level of respect has been eliminated because social media caps people up, or whoever is popular thinks they can talk crazy."

"And because I know people, I know a lot of higher ups – it’s a lot of people who still respect my opinion that you may not see on the regular basis – they’ll tell me, ‘Oh she treats people, her team treats people a certain way if they find that you’re of importance or of you someone of status, then they’ll be nice to you, but if you’re just regular, they not gone speak. I hate people like that and that's what I heard about that team. My kids love her to death. I didn't even put two and two together and realize that's the one from the YouTube show."

"But then I was like, ‘I would have been like, ‘Nah, let me just sing my song and do my set. Y’all can save this cypher until I have this baby cause my diaphragm ain’t right’ Cause clearly it look like she ain’t wanna be there. It's so many people that I think that opportunity would have been perfect for, who have a cult-like following. Just because they're not popular and just because - not disrespect - they're not all the way lightskinned because it still is that line of light skin vs. dark. It's very prevalent in the industy. Why? Because I still have to deal with it."

Mo also issued a warning to Queen's fiance Clarence after he was talking crazy about her.

"He better be careful. Well, he got a fade coming." Oop!

The "4 Ever" singer got super emotional while talking about riding people who don't ride for her in the same way. She said "everyone thinks it's just Robert [R. Kelly], but it's not." Oh?

Mo said she's not going to snitch on the people she knows of who participate in the same activities as Kelly because "when I f*ck with you, I f*ck with you."

"One of my OGs, she told me 'Mo, you have to pick better people to ride for.' This makes me f*cking cry because I always have people's f*ckin' back, nobody don't be having mine. I am tight because that sh*t be making me mad. I hate when people ruin their opportunity then you're just like 'yo, what is y'all doing?' They know what's going on in the industry."

Charlamagne asked who are the people she's referring to, she responded, "EVERYBODY! All of them!"

In other news...

Adrien Broner, 29, is cutting up after Manny Pacquiao, 40, defeated him by a unanimous decision after their Pay-Per-View fight that went down at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas last weekend. The 40-year-old boxer is still the welterweight world champion.

However, Adrien doesn't seem to think so.

Although Pacquiao beat Broner by a unanimous decision, the outspoken boxer feels like he STILL won, despite the outcome of the fight.

"I beat him," he said in a post-fight interview in the rink with Showtime sportscaster Jim Gray. "Everybody out there know I beat him. I controlled the fight. He was missing. I hit him clean more times. I beat him!"

Jim Gray brought up the fact Broner averaged less than 8 punches per round.

"It already sound like you were against me. Let me talk something. Let me let y'all know. I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I love y'all. I did this for the hood. Y'all know I beat that boy. Y'all know I beat that boy! What they're trying to do is, they're to get that money again with Pacquiao and Floyd [Mayweather], but it's cool. I ain't worried about it. I'm still that n*gga. I'm on top."

By the way, it was reported Pacquiao's home was burgularized after the fight. TMZ reports:

Law enforcement sources tell us they got a call Sunday from someone on Pacquiao's team regarding the crime. We're told there were signs of forced entry and the home was ransacked. Pacquiao was not home at the time ... he was still in Las Vegas. Pacquiao beat Broner by unanimous decision Saturday. At this time, it is not known what all was taken from the boxer's home. Cops do not have any suspects.

The NYC rapper, real name Earl Simmons, walked out of a FCI Gilmer in West Virginia this morning after he was sentenced to one-year behind bars in March 2018 for tax fraud after pleading guilty in November 2017. A judge ordered the "Party Up" rapper to pay $2.3 million in restitution in his tax evasion case.

The 48-year-old rapper was thrown behind bars in January 2018 on a bail violation for reportedly using Oxycodone and cocaine.

X's lawyer, Murray Richman, spoke with Vultureand said he's in good spirits. “He’s coming home tomorrow,” he told the site.“I spoke to him; he’s very happy. He’s looking forward to being home. He’s never been hotter than now — people have been seeking him out all over."

His lawyer told The Blast DMX, who is the father of 15 children (no exaggeration), is excited to reunite with his and his girlfriend Desiree Lindstrom's (pictured above) son, 2-year-old Exodus, who reportedly has serious health problems,

The Game wants all the smoke with Kanye West, bringing up details (again) from his throwback sexcapades with Ye's wife Kim Kardashian West. More inside....

Rapper The Game is gearing up to release a new album titled, Born To Rap. But first, he hosted an album preview party in LA last night. And there's one song that's going to have Kanye West blowing a gasket or two.

It's no secret Game and Kim used to date back in the day, which means they were likely getting it in as well. According to the west coast rapper, they def got it in and - if what he's rapping about is true - Kim K was on some porn star ish in between the sheets.  And by porn star, we mean positions only. Not the enthusiasm. We've all seen the Ray-J sex tape.

On one track that was previewed last night, The Game raps:

Get ready for an epic Yeezy rant in 5...4...3...2...

This isn't the first time Game rapped about smashing Kim K. In 2016, he dropped his DJ Khaled-assisted “Sauce” track where he revealed he smashed not one, not two…but THREE Kardashian sisters.

He rapped,

"I used to f*** bitches that Usher Raymond passed off/ Then I f***ed three Kardashians, hold that thought."

After "Sauce" was released, the Kardashians popped back, claiming Game was LYING about sleeping with THREE Kardashians. They revealed Game hasn’t slept with Kylie, Kendall, Khloe, Kourtney or Kris Jenner. However, they didn't mention Kim. Hmph.

Game supposedly called up Kanye West -- not Kim -- and got his approval before he added the bar about the Kardashians in his verse. Ye was allegedly cool with it. We wonder if he gave him the greenlight on this most recent song though.

As for the preview party, he also played a track featuring 21 Savage.

Kanye West is being accused of stiffing a Japanese fabric company out of $600,000! And now, they're suing. Deets inside...

Could Kanye West be so "Heartless?"

We're not even a full month into the new year and Kanye West is already getting sued. Why? Well, he apparently made a big order with a fabric company for his Yeezy shoes that totaled more than $600,000, and allegedly never paid for the goods.

Not only did he not pay up, says the company, but it's also alleged he even created a fake company so he wouldn't have to come up with the cash. Now, 'Ye......

Japanese fabric supplier, Toki Sen-I Co, claims Yeezy hit them up for fabric that would be used for his Yeezy sneaker collection. The company claims they made a deal with Ye and Yeezy Apparel, LLC last June where Toki would manufacture fleece fabric for Yeezy sneakers. Since the company had worked with the Chi-town native before, no down payment was given and they weren't tripping.

Well, maybe they should have because now they have all this fabric and nothing to show for it.

It's reported Toki manufactured the fleece that totaled a cool $624,000 (equaling 53,500 yards of fabric), but soon after, they received an email stating they weren't going to go through with the deal.

The company claims they tried selling the fabric, but it was so specific to the Yeezy brand, they couldn't get rid of it. They reportedly tried to settle with Kanye and his company, setting up a payment plan to no avail. Toki Sen-I Co. also claims West attempted to create a fake company to avoid payment. In the lawsuit, Toki labeled Yeezy Apparel as a “shell” and a “sham” of a company that operates without capital assets or member interest. Bloop.

So now, they're suing for $624,051 PLUS storage fees. Sheesh.

Drake just inked a new deal with a film production company. But, he also just got sued. Deets on his highs and lows, plus why fans think J. Cole and Pusha T are firing shots at Drizzy inside...

Well, this is an interesting week for Drake. He received some good news and bad news. First the good news...

The Young Money rapper is sort of going back to his "Degrassi" days except, instead of being in front of the camera, he's making moves behind-the-scenes to bring his fans original content they'll love. And it's not TV, it's the box office.

Drizzy and his co-manager, Future the Prince, have signed a first-look production deal with producer Matthew Budman, who just launched Forest Hill Entertainment production company. Mr. Budman has spent the last 8-years as a producer at Annapurna Pictures where he helped develop films that included Detroit, American Hustle and Zero Dark Thirty.

“Drake and Future the Prince have been leading the way as artists in the music and fashion arena, and I’m honored to be collaborating with them as they continue to broaden their influence in the original content space,” said Budman.

Now for the bad news...

The SCORPION rapper is being sued after a man was beatdown inside an LA club a few months ago. In fact, Drizzy, NFLer Odell Beckham Jr., and Kourtney Kardashian's ex-Younes Bendjima are being sued as well after a man made claims he was beaten down by a gang of folks as he tried to enter a restroom at Delilah nightclub in WeHo.

TMZ reports:

Bennett Sipes claims in a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, he was at Delilah nightclub in WeHo when there was a confrontation inside between himself and the defendants. When he attempted to leave the VIP area, he says Drake gave the "throat slash" hand gesture.

As he was attempting to enter the restroom, he says he was attacked by Younes Bendjima, Kourtney Kardashian's ex, along with members of Drake and Beckham's entourage.

The video shows the brutal fight. Sipes says he continues to incur medical bills and suffers "extreme mental anguish and physical pain." As TMZ first reported, a source at the club told us Sipes "talked smack" as he approached the group.

Sipes filed a police report, but changed his mind and dropped it ... at least criminally. He's also suing Delilah and others.

Yikes.

In music news...

J. Cole unleashed new music for his fans and folks are coming up with theories that he's firing shots at Kanye West and Pusha T for their previous drama with the Canadian rapper.

On his newly released track "Middle Child," he raps:

“This watch came from Drizzy, he gave me a gift/Back when the rap game was prayin’ I’d diss/They act like two legends cannot coexist/But I’d never beef with a nigga for nothin’/But I’d never beef with a nigga for nothin’/If I smoke a rapper, it’s gon’ be legit.

#10yearchallenge ..ok so this is more like 18 Years buuut you get the point. I have always been somewhat of a risk taker in every area of my life .. My Mom says I’ve always moved to the beat of my own drum. People have often told me throughout my life to get in line, I’ve even tried at times but thankfully what’s unnatural never works out for me lol. Ive never really believed in “no”, I only believe in “how can we get it done”. And when I hear “that’s never been done, so I shouldn’t try”, I’m somehow never discouraged & always way more determined. I guess somethings don’t change that much .

Jeannie Mai celebrated her 40th birthday with a gold and silver inspired roller skating party at World on Wheels. And "The Real" co-host - who looks damn good btw - was looking real cozy with rapper Jeezy.

"ATL" actress Malika Haqq posted up a couples picture of herself with her man O.T. Genasis, singer Trey Songz and his new girlfriend Lori Harvey (Steve & Marjorie Harvey's daughter) along with Jeannie and Jeezy on Instagram.

She captioned it, "3's Company." Oh?

Last we heard, the "Snowman" rapper was engaged to his daughter's mother, Mahi. However, that was 2 years ago, so anything could have happened since then. IF Jeannie is dating Jeezy, she totally did a 180 in the beau department. Her ex-husband is a white actor named Freddy Harteis. They split in February 2018 after he changed his minda about wanting kids (he now wants them), and Jeannie did not (she still does not).

Jeannie's co-worker Adrienne Bailon and her hubby Israel Houghton came out to celebrate the milestone birthday.

We noticed "The Real" co-hosts Loni Love and Tamera Mowry were not in attendance. Maybe prior committments and/or mommy duty.

However, Vivica Fox was and she was ready to kill it on skates.

After the party, Aunt Viv, her publicist B.J. Coleman and "ANTM" alum J. Alexander/Miss Jay went out to eat at Craigs restaurant in West Hollywood.

Whew, chile! Taraji P. Henson stirred up some controversy when she posted this! 

The "Empire" star took to her IG Stories to compare the #MuteRKelly campaign to backlash against Harvey Weinstein, who has also been accused of sexual assault by multiple women, and folks let her HAVE it. Peep the clip above.

It’s important to note, the #TimesUp campaign, that she partook in, was largely amplified after and during the Weinstein fallout despite it being started long before. So was #MeToo. While outcry about Weinstein may not happen in a #MuteWeinstein hashtag, outcry indeed was and is quite heavy via the #TimesUp #MeToo hashtags. Also, Weinstein isn't an artist/singer, so you can't really "mute" him in the same way you would Kelly. Don't get it twisted, he's canceled as well.

After fans dragged her online for the post, she hopped on Twitter to clarify:

Taraji's What Men Want co-star Erykah Badu has been catching heat over R. Kelly as well. Fans were on her neck over comments she made about R. Kelly and the victims during her concert in Chicago recently. In case you missed, get the tea HERE.

"Surviving R. Kelly" executive producer Dream Hampton has been active on Twitter since the premiere of the docu-series and she revealed she reached out to Badu to appear in the series, however, she said Badu declined.

The "Bag Lady" singer hopped on Twitter to address Dream directly and told her NO ONE ever reached out to her about being in the docu-series. She also encouraged Dream to pull the receipts that show she tried to get her on the docu-series and if she doesn't have any, she should apologize.

Taraji P. Henson has been making her press rounds for her upcoming comedy, What Men Want.

The Oscar nominated actress plays a sports agent in a male-dominated industry where she has to fight her way up the ladder to prove she's better the boys. She gains an unexpected edge over them when she develops the ability to hear men's thoughts after drinking a tea that was given to her by a psychic (played by Erykah Badu).

What Men Want producer Will Packer, James Lopez (Head of Motion Pictures at Will Packer Productions) and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms joined the 48-year-old actress for a special screening of the comedy at Regal Atlantic Station in Atlanta before the film hits theaters next month. And as you can see below, the premiere was a LIT:

Beyoncé is up to something. By now, you know something BIG is on the horizon once Bey starts posting pics on her social media handles. And we're already shooketh.

The social media activity is one indication that something is on the way. And now, The Dream - longtime Beyonce collaborator - is spilling tea on what's to come.

The Grammy Award winning songwriter teased a few deets about a new Beyoncé project during an interview with HOT 97's Ebro Darden.

"She's doing something," he shared. "I actually haven't talked to her about it, I've talked to the team about it because it's kind of just being coordinated. But she's doing something."

After posting up a few shots of herself taken by her daughter Blue Ivy, Mrs. Carter returned to Instagram with a fresh set of pictures from her personal stash.

Floss then. The Queen kept it comfortably cute in a pink and green polka dot Sacai jumpsuit and white sneakers, accessorized with a Louis Vuitton graffiti bag. It's not often we see Bey in sneakers! 

Also, Beyonce is voicing Nala in Disney's live-action film, The Lion King. Billy Eichner, who voices meerkat Timon, revealed Bey and Donald Glover (who voices Simba) will be performing a duet for "Can You Feel The Love Tonight."

Kanye West has pulled the trigger on a lawsuit against Roc-A-Fella and EMI Publishing. Find out why he's dragging them to court and how Jay Z isn't involved in any of it inside...

Kanye West believes he's owed some money, so he's taking it to court.

The PABLO rapper has reportedly filed a lawsuit against two companies that helped launch his career, Roc-A-Fella Records and EMI Publishing.

In the lawsuit against Roc-A-Fella, he claims he signed an exclusive recording agreement with the company. Apparently, the suit is heavily redacted, but TMZ claims he's asking for a declaration of his rights over a dispute he's having and he wants money.

Naturally, folks came to the conclusion that Ye was coming after his homie (?) Jay Z, but Hov doesn't own anything in relation to Roc-A-Fella. A rep for Ye told XXL that the Hip Hop mogul sold his interest in the record company a long time ago and that Yeezy's lawsuit has nothing to do with Jay Z.

"The media reports are wrong," says the rep. "Kanye West did not sue Jay-Z. Mr. West sued a company that Jay-Z once owned a piece of, Roc-A-Fella Records. Jay-Z sold his interest in that company many years ago. There is no fight between Kanye West and Jay-Z."

So there's that.

In the suit, he does mention Jay Z as he recounts his career and rise to fame. He gives himself credit for “helping revitalize Jay-Z’s career" for the work he put in writing and producing Hov's classic album, The Blueprint.

As for his lawsuit against EMI Publishing, he claims they owe him over a music dispute.

TMZ reports:

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, in 2003, the year before he came out with his breakout album, "College Dropout," he signed a contract with EMI. The suit claims by the end of 2011, Kanye had written solely or with other writers more than 200 songs and gave the rights to those songs to EMI.

Those songs include some of the most influential and successful songs in his catalog, although the suit isn't specific.

The suit is heavily redacted, although it says there is a dispute and he wants a judge to declare his rights under the contract -- presumably for money.

He's hired one of the most powerful firms in the country -- Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, so the stakes are clearly high.

Interesting. We wonder why the suit was redacted so heavily. No word on how much he's seeking, but we're sure it's for a hefty amount.

This news comes on the heels of reports that Kanye is being sued for $600,000 after allegedly scamming a Japanese fabric company out of money. Get those deets HERE.

Nelly and his longtime girlfriend Shantel Jackson hit the LA streets for date night amid his sexual assault case. Get into the latest developments in the case inside...

Nelly and Shantel Jackson are seemingly unbothered amid the sexual assault drama that's going on.

The "Hot In Herre" rapper and his longtime girlfriend Miss Jackson were spotted arriving at The Nice Guy bar in West Hollywood for a night out on the town together.

They need some down time to enjoy themselves after everything that's going on in court.

Last year, a woman came forward to reveal the “Country Grammar” rapper sexually assaulted her while he was on tour, following similar claims made by another woman named Monique Greene. You'll recall, she said Nelly raped her on his tour bus in Seattle after his concert, but he denied those claims. Eventually, Nelly and Monique "mutually settled" the case.

As for the other case...

The St. Louis native (real name Cornell Haynes Jr.) is being investigated by Essex Police after a woman (who has remained anonymous) came forward with sexual assault accusations aimed at the rapper. She told police Nelly sexually assaulted her on December 5, 2017, after his show at Cliffs Pavilion in Essex. She claims after going backstage to meet him, he whipped out his penis, masturbated in front of her, and then allegedly forced his penis into her mouth.

Nelly is fully cooperating with police in hopes of clearing his name. It's reported he flew out to the UK to meet with cops about the investigation.

"Nelly flew to the UK on his own volition last week to work with the police in assisting their investigation to clear his name completely," said Nelly's rep.

Also, Nelly demands the woman to reveal her identity, and if she doesn't, he wants the case thrown out.

According to The Blast:

On January 24, Nelly filed court docs seeking for a Missouri sexual assault lawsuit to be dismissed stating, “Without first petitioning the Court to do so, Plaintiff filed her complaint anonymously, standing behind that anonymity as she makes serious allegations that the Complaint makes clear that she is aware will receive public attention.”

The “Country Grammar” rapper claims the “Jane Doe” has previously leveled similar allegations in connection with other legal proceedings, and the hip-hop star believes the woman should not be allowed to avoid public scrutiny by hiding “behind a cloak of anonymity.”

In addition, the woman is also suing Nelly's girlfriend Shantel Jackson for defamation after comments she posted on social media. Sheesh.
