After giving his fans a rare interview in GQ magazine, singer Frank Ocean popped up at the LV show. He was spotted sitting on the front row alongside actor Timothee Chalamet.

Rapper Offset is no stranger to the runway. He made his runway debut at Jeremy Scott's NYFW show last year. Now, he's he Paris showing off his runway skills.

Nipsey Hussle nabbed his first ever Grammy nomination, so he's celebrating in a major way.

After his album Victory Lap earned a nomination in the Best Rap Album category, the west coast rapper joined forces with PUMA to host a 2019 Grammy Nomination party inside The Peppermint Club in LA.

There were several Hip Hop heads in the mix, including Jay Z (who's listed in the credits of Nipsey's new album), Snoop Dogg, T.I., and DJ Mustard.

So, how did Hov earn a composer credit on Victory Lap?

"You know what's crazy about that record [Hussle & Motive]?" Nipsey said during an interview on "The Breakfast Club."

"This is what I learned when we was going through the process and the paperwork. When JAY-Z got 'Annie' to clear the record, I guess when he paid them, he said, 'Y'all gotta let every rap artist after me use this.' That was his deal with whatever producers and writers—so we benefited off his negotiating in 1998. We just had to get JAY-Z to clear it."

Hov always looking out! 

Notably missing was his girlfriend (not fiancee)/son's mother, Lauren London.

During the pre-fight presser, Broner went off on Showtime boxing analyst Al Bernstein. The reason? Well, he doesn't like how Berstein makes use of his Twitter fingers. He said he wasn't answering ANY of his questions and he didn't. Broner also told his crew not to answer any of his questions and they didn't either. Check it:

Listen, we usually don't condone violence, but there are some instances when a person just needs to get their a** handed to them. And this is one of those times. Ugh.

Tony Beckham, former Detroit Lions defensive back (pictured above), beat the breaks off a white man after he caught him masturbating outside of his daughter's window in Florida.

According to reports, the former NFL baller found 48-year-old Geoffrey Cassidy (mughshot below) with his pants partially down, fondling himself while peeking into his 15-year-old daughter's room after she had showered Monday morning. Beckham yelled out to the man and he tried to run, but Beckham caught up with him.

"I couldn’t believe it. I was like, ‘Is this for real?’ I thought I was getting 'Punk’d,'" Beckham said, referring to the famous MTV practical joke series. "I caught him at the apartment over there and we just had a good conversation,” Beckham said.

Yeah, they had a conversation alright. That "conversation" resulted in Cassidy suffering from multiple broken bones in his face. Serves him right!

Cassidy is charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a victim younger than 16 years old. He’s currently being held in the Palm Beach County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bond. He reportedly denied the sexual act, saying he was in the neighborhood because his car broke down and he was waiting for it to cool. Bruh.

“I’m sorry that it happened to me. I’m sorry that it happened to him,” Beckham said. “Because he’s never going to do that again on this side of town.”

Or anywhere else for that matter.

“I don’t know if this is his first time coming here or if he’s been here before or where he’s seen us or how he picked us out,” Amanda Beckham, Tony Beckham's wife, said. “But it’s scary.”

According to The Blast, a hearing was held this week in the case where she's requesting an increase in child support payments. He's currently paying $2,026/month. She wants him to cough up at least $20,000/month, so that his son can live just as lavish as he does. And she knows he's living lavishly because he and his wife, Keyshia Ka'oir, are also flexin' on the 'Gram.

Sheena's lawyer told the judge that she "lives in Section 8 housing, is on government assistance, receives food stamps and is on Medicaid … all while Gucci is making millions."

Last week, the "Wake Up In The Sky" rapper threw his wife a huge bash to celebrate her birthday. To top it off, he gifted Keyshia a red 2019 Rolls Royce Cullinan (which starts at $325K). Not to mention, they were dripping in custom designer threads as well, as they do daily on IG.

Despite all of the fancy parties, luxury whips, and uber fab vacations, Gucci claims his income hasn't changed since 2011 and he can't afford an increase. In the filing, he pointed out that he's already paying health insurance and medical expenses for his son, so he doesn't feel like he should have to pay more and wants the case thrown out.

Wendy Williams' return has been delayed for a third time, and she's now hospitalized.  Details inside...

As the "Wendy Show" wraps up a week with guest host panels today, Wendy's planned return on Monday ain't happening.

Wendy's people posted a personal statement to her Facebook page saying she's now experiencing complications from her Graves' Disease. She'll require hospitalization and treatment, and there was no date stated about her return.

“As Wendy Williams Hunter previously shared, she fractured her shoulder and has been on the mend. Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves’ Disease that will require treatment. Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital.”

“Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break from her show to focus on her personal and physical well-being.”

The statement goes on to say reruns will air starting Monday, then another slate of guest hosts in new shows the following week.

There's still been no statement about the rumors of Wendy & her husband possibly splitting over his alleged mistress' alleged pregnancy. 

We do know stress aggravates already existing health issues.

"Surviving R. Kelly" continues to be the real MVP.

SONY has parted ways with the singer, a new woman has come forward saying R. Kelly sexually abused her when she was a 16-year-old EPIC Records intern, and his former manager HenryJames Mason has turned himself into police. Everything inside...

R. Kelly is still hot in the headlines as the explosive aftermath of LIFETIME's "Surviving R. Kelly" docu-series continues.

Sony Music and R. Kelly have reportedly parted ways.

According to Variety andBillboard, R. Kelly and Sony have dissolved their working relationship. No official announcement has been released (yet), but sources are speaking out, confirming Sony and Kelly are no longer affiliated.

Variety reports:

No external announcement of the move is planned in the immediate future, says a source, who added that the company took its time to wade through the issues “responsibly” and avoid legal ramifications. R. Kelly was removed from the RCA Records website, which lists the label’s signed artists, shortly after 10 a.m. PT on Friday, Jan. 18.

Kelly’s back catalog will remain with RCA/Sony. Kelly’s last release with the label was a Christmas-themed album in 2016, although he has released several songs independently since that time, presumably with Sony’s consent, and Tweeted earlier this year that he has a new album on the way.

There have been protests calling for Sony Music to drop the singer from its roster. People have been marching outside of over Sony Music’s offices in Culver City, California and his former studio in Chicago.

Last week, UltraViolet, a national women's organization, commissioned a plane with a sign that read “RCA/Sony: Drop Sexual Predator R. Kelly” to fly over Sony Music’s offices. They are calling for RCA (which is owned by Sony Music) to drop all affiliations with R. Kelly in the wake of all of the sexual misconduct and sexual allegations made against him, specifically detailed in "Surviving R. Kelly."

A source told Variety that “[the plane] had no influence" and that Sony has been going back and forth about whether or not to drop him from the label for several months before the shocking docu-series was released.

Then, this just happened....

A new victim has come forward to share her story about how the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer sexually abused her.

36-year-old Tracy Sampson says she was sexually assaulted by Kelly in the summer of 1999 when she was a 16-year-old intern at Epic Records. In her first on-camera interview, Tracy made claims that R. Kelly tried to kiss her when she was minor and then he began a sexual relationship with her.

Tracy's relationship with Kelly lasted until she was 18 and then she broke things off. She then filed a lawsuit against the "Ignition" singer accusing him of sexual abuse. Kelly denied having sex with her, but settled the lawsuit for $250,000.

Kelly's lawyer, Steven Greenberg, is defending his client to the end. He said he wasn't representing the singer when Tracy said she was abused, but he insists his client has done nothing wrong to her, or any of the women who came forward. Sir, have several seats.

Last week, we told you police issued an arrest warrant for his former manager, Henry James Mason, over the summer. Today, the 52-year-old turned himself in to Georgia authorities. He surrendered to Henry County Sheriff's Office on felony terroristic threats and acts.

Joycelyn Savage's father, Timothy Savage, accused Mason of threatening to KILL him and his family over his involvement with the LIFETIME docu-series. He and his wife claim Kelly has "brainwashed" their daughter, Joycelyn Savage, and that they haven't seen her in two years.

Mr. Mason didn't stay in jail long. He posted a $10,000 bond and a judge ordered him NOT to leave the country without permission.

A few days ago, R. Kelly's Chicago studio (that he has been evicted from) where its rumored he kept some of the women he is accused of abusing was raided by members of the Chicago Fire Department and building inspectors.

CBS repoter Mike Puccinelli was on the scene at 5am and filmed a mystery man leaving the studio with boxes and a computer hard drive. Check it:

According to reports, Kelly was cited for multiple building code violations, including evidence of people living in the non-residential building. After the raid, an attorney for R. Kelly - Melvin Sims - made claims the inspection as "uneventful" and said it debunked previous concerns that someone may be living in the studio, which is not zoned for residential use.

"There is no one that lives at that premises nor has anyone or is anyone living at the premises. No one lives there," Kelly's attorney said. -

Well, he was cited with evidence proving people were actually living inside the studio, so that's a lie.

Also, Kelly's attorney, Steven Greenberg, previously made claims that Kelly didn't know late singer Aaliyah was underage when he married her because she lied to Kelly about her age and he had "no idea" she was a child.

Oh? Receipts (and common sense) say otherwise.  A video resurfaced showing Kelly himself recognizing that Aaliyah was 14-years-old at the time of the taping.

"Right now I'm producing a very talented lady, a young lady," R. Kelly narrated a scene from a 1994 documentary. "She's 14, Aaliyah. She's real street. She just be chilling," he said.

In the docu-series, Kelly's former road manager Demetrius Smith even admitted he forged documents to say Aaliyah was 18 when she really was 15. So, that was a lie.

Kelly's lawyer then retracted those statements, explaining he misspoke and that his client never talked to him about Aaliyah's age.

Georgia is actively investigating Kelly, while Chicago is asking other victims to come forward to help build a case against him. Last week, cops pulled up on Kelly at his Trump Tower residence to check on two women that were reportedly being held against their will. The police spoke to the women - who are believed to be Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary - and they told police they're not being held hostage and are in good health.

Oh, and Soulja was also promoting his new video game console.

Issa Rae teams up with Kumail Nanjiani for a new romantic comedy titled Lovebirds, DJ Khaled is joining Bad Boys 3, and the trailer for Fast Color features three generations of black women with superpowers. Get it all inside...

Listen, Issa Rae is taking over Hollywood on the big screen, the small screen, and even behind-the-scenes.

For her next project, the "Insecure" star/creator is teaming up with "The Big Sick" star Kumail Nanjiani for a romantic comedy, picked up by Paramount Pictures, that will highlight an interracial couple trying to finesse their way out of a murder.

Entertainment Weekly serves up the deets on the upcoming rom-com:

The script will see Rae and Nanjiani play a couple close to breaking up, who find themselves caught in a bizarre but funny murder mystery which they attempt to solve in order to clear their names, while also examining if they and their relationship can survive the circumstances. Nanjiani’s Big Sick director, Michael Showalter, will helm the film, and the script is penned by Aaron Abrams, Brendan Gall, and Martin Gero. The film will go into production at the end of the month and is co-produced and co-financed by MRC.

The news comes on the heels of the LITTLE trailer being released, which stars Issa, Regina Hall and Marsai Martin. In case you missed, check it out HERE.

The "Insecure" honcho also inked a multi-production deal with Columbia Pictures. Under the agreement, Issa's ColorCreative production company will be backing projects from emerging, diverse screenwriters. She has also signed a first-look development deal to create two more shows (with one of them already in the works) for HBO.

Fast Color is about three generations of black women with superhuman abilities that they must use to protect themselves.

Gugu Mbatha-Rawplays Ruth, a woman who went on the run when her superhuman abilities were discovered, according to EW. Now, years after abandoning her family, the only place she has left to hide is the farmhouse where she grew up. "Rosewood" actress Lorraine Toussaint plays Gugu's mother and FENCES starlet Saniyya Sidney plays Gugu's daughter.

A movie about mothers with superpowers? Yep, sign us up. Peep the trailer above.

It's official.  The junior Senator from California just made her formal announcement(s) that she's running for President of the United States.  How Kamala Harris just kicked off her road to making history inside...

Sen. Kamala Harris said on "The View" last week that she wasn't ready to make her announcement, and reports said it would come during MLK weekend.  Today is MLK Day observed, and it happened.

Kamala posted her official announcement that she's running for POTUS across all her social media accounts this AM, then made her first network tv announcement on "Good Morning America" with Robin Roberts& George Stephanopoulos (above).  Strategic indeed.

Harris' announcement comes following months of speculation.  She's a rising star in the party who was elected California's junior senator in 2016 after two terms as the state's attorney general.  Yup, she was the top cop, but maintained she can be both pro-progressive reform and do her job as a prosecutor.

Kamala's run also sets her up to possibly become the first woman and woman of color to sit in the Oval Office.  This marks 47 years to the week that Shirley Chisholm, the first black candidate for a major party's Presidential nomination and the first woman to vie for the Democratic nomination, announced her Presidential run as well. Kamala's logo actually has a salute to Chisholm.

"I love my country. I love my country," she said. "This is a moment in time that I feel a sense of responsibility to stand up and fight for the best of who we are."

The powerful, take-no-sh*t (if you've never seen her in a judicial hearing, google that ish), 54-year-old former prosecutor def has the moxy & brilliance to run for the highest office, and some would even say the clout. But can she get the masses behind her?

Some folks are already going the Hillary route and assuming/claiming she's not "for us."  The reasons are very subjective, as it depends on what you feel is the role of a prosecutor.  Some feel she disproportionately put people of color in jail in her state's attorney general office position.  Others feel the numbers aren't disproportionate, and her hard lines abided by were for the greater good of curing big issues like high school dropout rates, drugs, etc.

Last night, Kamala and her husband Douglas Emhoff had a pre-announcement dinner at Madeo restaurant in West Hollywood.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro have also entered the crowded Dem field of Presidential candidates in 2020.  Also expected to announce: Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey and Sen. Bernie Sanders (who is technically an Independent) from Vermont. The masses are pushing - hard - for former VP Joe Biden and former Texas Senatorial candidate Beto O'Rourke to run as well.

Is Kamala the Dems' best chance at beating Trump, or even the nomination in the primary? Who knows. President (then Senator) Obama was once a "long shot candidate" as well.

Buckle up, buttercups. It's about to be a real bumpy ride.

Alexis Skyy is back in the headlines for another fight. This time, it involves her daughter's dad Fetty Wap's other kids' mother Lezhae Lowder...and it was brutal. See the footage, plus get the deets on the cops checking in on Blac Chyna for child endangerment inside....

Drama was at an all-time high over the weekend. A lot of ratchetedness went down in the streets of Fetty Wap's hometown of Patterson, New Jersey.

A fight broke out that resulted in Fetty Wap's kids' mother, Lezhae Lowder - the mother of TWO of his kids - getting arrested.

So here's what reportedly went down.

Cops were called to a White Castle parking lot in Patterson after a brutal fight went down where Alexis - one of Fetty's kids' mothers - looked on from the car. Lezhae was arrested and charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment.

It's reported Alexis Skyy was in town partying it up at the New Jersey bar where Lezhae works and its alleged Lezhae lost her sh*t when she saw Alexis and tried to fight her. The ladies were kept separate inside the bar, but when Alexis left, it's alleged Lezhae threw a bottle at Alexis' car as she drove away.

After hitting up the bar, the "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" star and her friends jetted to White Castle for some late night eats and that's when Lezhae rolled up on the scene. Sources told TMZ Lezhae did NOT follow Alexis to White Castle, they just both coincidentally happened to end up at the same burger joint after the bar.

OK, girl. If you say so.

That's when all hell broke loose. Supposedly scared for her life, Lezhae pulled out a knife to defend herself, however, it's reported she did not swing the knife at anyone. People from Alexis' camp and people from Lezhae's camp got into a brawl in the middle of the parking lot and it was straight foolery.

Sources told TMZ that Alexis was sitting in her Benz Truck as all of this unfolded. One of the people recording the fight also pointed her out.

Cops were eventually called and Lezhae was reportedly arrested for disorderly conduct/improper behavior for allegedly continuing to yell and threaten the opposing crew. She was not arrested for wielding a knife or for getting into a fight.

Whew, chile. This fight comes on the heels of Alexis almost coming to blows with Blac Chyna. 

All of this drama sound real convenient?  It may be.  Rob is reportedly shooting scenes for next season of "Keepng Up With The Kardashians," just as he and Alexis have been spending time together.  Looks like Alexis is the new Chyna and is trying to get that clout.

On Instagram, Chyna's new boo Kid Buu hopped in Alexis' comments with shade, asking her if she was with Rob Kardashian (Chyna's ex) for love or clout? She popped back, asking him if he was with Chyna to "sell coke to her" or "just sniff it with her." She then professed her love for Rob. Check it:

Also over the weekend...

Someone called the cops on Blac Chyna alleging she was DRUNK. So drunk, that she allegedly was unable to care for her daughter, Dream Kardashian.

TMZ reports:

Law enforcement sources tell us an anonymous person called in Sunday night and stated Chyna was drunk at her home. The caller claimed Chyna was in such bad shape, she couldn't properly care for her daughter, Dream Kardashian.

Cops went to Chyna's house and determined everything was fine, nobody was drunk, and Dream was being properly cared for. There was also a nanny at the home.

We wouldn't be surprised if certain someones were behind this. However, TMZ believes someone in Chyna's camp was the culrprit who called the LAPD on her.

Sources close to the situation tell us earlier in the night, Chyna got in a fight with a member of her glam team and the incident may have triggered the call to cops.

Mmhmm...

By the way, Chyna and Rob are still battling over child support. He wants the $20K/month lowered. Also, Chy will be taking the whole Kardashian/Jenner Klan to court in 2020 after filing a lawsuit against them for hurting her career by canceling her reality series,"Rob & Chyna."

Looks like Alexis just nabbed her a new reality show check.

Rap queens Da Brat and Yo-Yo addressed the R. Kelly scandal on the red carpet at the 2019 Bounce Trumpet Awards this weekend in Atlanta. Also, Erykah Badu clarifies her R. Kelly "support" after she got boo'd to no end in Chicago.

As R. Kelly is still (rightfully) under fire following LIFETIME's "Surviving R. Kelly" docu-series, there's one female rapper that still has his back.

On the red carpet at the 2019 Bounce Trumpet Awards held at The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, rapper/radio personality Da Brat defended her childhood friend and even questioned the parents of the young ladies who claim R. Kelly sexually assaulted them - some while they were minors.

"You can't ask me that, you know? It's a rough one," Da Brat responded to TMZ on the red carpet. "I do think he needs help. I love him. I grew up with him. Ms. McLin - we had the same music teacher, we were around the same circles as kids."

While she admitted Kelly needs help, she placed a lot of the blame on the PARENTS of the victims.

"I've never seen him do anything bad, but I don't believe all these people are lying. But at the same time, where are the parents? So, you know, I think he needs help for sure. I love him. I hope he don't get mad at me. And I think the parents need to take responsibility. Where is your 14-year-old child? Why are you there?"

Really, Brat?  Any parents who willingly allowed their child around even a suspected child abuser is, in fact, problematic.  They have additional blame. But this isn't an "or" situation.  Kelly's still 100% responsible for his actions.

Needless to say, she will not be joining the #MuteRKelly movement any time soon. She continued:

"I can't stop listening to the music. Never will I stop listening to the music. I may not buy it anymore, but it's already in my playlist."

Yet another example of someone DEFLECTING on the real problem, which is a grown MAN pursuing, and allegedly raping, underaged and teenaged girls. That's the issue. PERIODT.

Brat isn't the only artists defending the "Ignition" singer....

Erykah Badu seemingly showed support to the disgraced singer in his hometown during her show at Chicago's Aragon Ballroom on Saturday.

"I don't know how everyone else feels about it, but I'm putting up a prayer right now for R. [Kelly]," she told the audience after pausing her performance. "I hope he sees the light of day if he has done all of the things that we've seen on TV and heard those ladies talk about [on 'Surviving R. Kelly']"

She continued:

"What if one of the people that were assaulted by R. Kelly grows up to be an offender. We gone crucify them? I mean, how do we do this? Just something to think about."

Folks weren't feeling it and boo'd her. Peep the clip above.

As expected, she received tons of backlash on social media, so she decided to clarify what she meant in a tweet:

As for another woman in the industry...

Rap legend Yo-Yo was also asked how she felt about R. Kelly now that all of these detailed allegations have surfaced. She has her own R. Kelly story that could have resulted in her 21-year-old daughter getting tangled up in Kelly's alleged sex cult.

“I actually went to listen to his music [at a LA studio] and my daughter came with me,” she explained. “The sad part was when we got home, my daughter said, ‘Mom, someone passed me R. Kelly’s number. I said, ‘What!?’ She’s like, ‘Mom, please don’t say nothing. This is why I didn’t tell you.’

Yo-Yo said she had heard rumors about the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer before, but it really hit home when her daughter told her how his crew tried to come at her behind her back.

“I didn’t say anything, but you know, it really let me know that there is a real problem,” she continued. “It really let me know that there really is a problem because with all of that that was going on for that to still happen and it happened to me. I was thinking 'I’m your friend. I come here with my daughter who’s over 21, but you don’t know my daughter’s age, and behind my back? You will slide my daughter your number?' That’s just weird to me, like a weirdo. Who would do that?”

A sick minded person would do that, that's who. It's unclear exactly when this happened, but it sounds like it didn't happen too long ago.

Total family affair!

The 2019 Bounce Trumpet Awards was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta over the weekend. And Clifford "T.I." Harris was one of the night's honorees.

Tip was presented with the inaugural Xernona Clayton Award by Trumpet Awards founder and civil rights leader Ms. Clayton herself. The rapper/activist/actor - who looked dapper in a Hideoki Bespoke suit - was recognized for his extensive charitable work and numerous contributions to economic development and job creation within his hometown of Atlanta.

2018 was a year of building for the rapper and his wife Tiny Harris. And they have seemingly gotten back on track after she filed for divorce two years ago. The XSCAPE singer was right by her man's side to show her support on his big night. They also had most of the kids there as well, including Major, King, Heiress, Zonnique, Deyjah, and Messiah. Tip's son, Domani Harris, was MIA for the family night out.

Tip's mom, Violeta Morgan, and Tiny's mom, Dianne Cottle, were in the mix as well.

"Finally got all my beautiful daughters in one pick together @zonniquejailee @princess_of_da_south & @heiressdharris & of course my funny mother in law @vimommati," Tiny captioned on IG.

All of the ladies look great (yesss for the black hair, Tiny!)and little Heiress is TOO adorbs.

Chris Brown is in major hot water again, this time resulting in him being detained overseas in Paris on rape and rug charges.  What he's saying now, inside...

Paris Fashion Week quickly went from dream to nightmare for Chris Brown (and his alleged victim). 

News just broke that the singer has been arrested and charged in Paris for suspected aggravated rape.  He also has been slapped with drug charges.

The often troubled pop star was taken in late last night by authorities after a woman filed a police report on January 16th accusing Chris of raping her at his hotel, the Mandarin Oriental. His bodyguard and one other person from his camp were also arrested. They are being held by judicial police in the 17th arrondissement of northwest Paris, officials say.

After the French tabloid Closer initially broke the story, the Associated Press confirmed the news with French judicial authorities.  The AP also reported what the woman says happened that night:

The woman who filed the Paris complaint said she met Brown and his friends overnight Jan. 15-16 at the club Le Crystal in the 8th arrondissement near the Champs-Elysees, and then they all went to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel near the Concorde Plaza in central Paris, according to the official.

The Mandarin Oriental would not comment on the investigation, and Le Crystal could not immediately be reached. There was no unusual activity outside either site.

The U.S. Embassy in Paris & Chris' publicists have reportedly declined to comment about the arrest.  Chris himself, though, basically says "it wasn't me."  The Blast reports:

According to our sources, Brown is telling people he was at the hotel on the night in question. But we’re told Brown maintains he had gone to a different room when the alleged incident went down.

Our sources say Brown believes that if something happened involving the woman, he was not involved.

The "Fine China" singer's most recent arrest went down July 2018 after a concert in West Palm Beach, Florida.  That arrest was for a felony battery charge stemming from an April 2017 incident where he was accused of punching a man who photographed him without permission.

Regina King is a certified vet in the game and she's finally getting ther recognition she SO deserves. The three-time EMMY winner has been nominated for her first ever Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role as Sharon Rivers in Barry Jenkins' If Beale Street Could Talk.

If Beale Street Could Talk also landed nominations in the Best Adapted Screenplay category (Barry Jenkins) and Best Original Score (Nicholas Britell). By the way, director Barry Jenkins was snubbed for his directing efforts. And Beale Street def should have been nominated in Best Picture.

Mahershala Ali is back in the running for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He was nominated for his role as Dr. Don Shirley in Green Book. If he wins, it'll be his2nd Oscar after nabbing the award in the same category for his performance in Moonlight.

Ryan Coogler's Black Panther racked up a total of 7 nominations, including Best Picture.  Because, #WakandaForever and things.

The super bomb Marvel/Disney film will go up against Spike Lee's BlacKKKlansman, Green Book, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Favorite, Roma, A Star Is Born, and Vice.

Production designer Hanna Beachler became the first black person to ever be nominated for Best Production Design. Woot! Her credentials include Beyonce's LEMONADE and the Oscar winning film, Moonlight. #BlackGirlMagic.

Unfortunately, Ryan Coogler, Michael B. Jordan and Chadwick Boseman were snubbed for the work they put into the BIGGEST movie of 2018. Lupita Nyong'o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, and breakout star Letitia Wright were also snubbed, as they have been all awards season.

Spike Lee earned his first ever Best Directing nomination, and it's for BlacKKKlansman. He scored three nominations total as his dramedy flick was nominated for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay. John David Washington was snubbed for Best Actor, in our honest opinion. He killed it. BlacKKKlansman did pick up more nods: Best Actor in a Supporting Role - Adam Driver; Best Film Editing - Barry Alexander Brown; Best Original Score - Terence Blanchard.

Speaking of Best Director, we noticed there were NO women nominated in the category. Interesting (but not surprising). You can view the full list here.

Kerry Washington is bringing her bomb Broadway production, "American Son," to Netflix. Get the deets, plus check out Michael B. Jordan's new action anime series inside...

Bronx beauty Kerry Washigntonhas been lighting up Broadway with her critically acclaimed play, American Son during it's limited run that's now comign to an end. It's one of those plays that'll make a grown man cry because it's THAT emotional. And it's even been generating Tony Award buzz.

The show is set to wrap up this Sunday, but luckily for those who couldn't travel to NYC to see it for themselves, they can start thankine the Netflix gods.

The streaming service is adapting the hit 2018 play with the two-time Golden Globe nominated actress reprising her role. She's also producing. Steven Pasquale (The Good Wife), Jeremy Jordan (Supergirl), and Eugene Lee (A Soldier’s Play) are also reprising their roles from the current Broadway production. Kenny Leon will return to direct and produce.

Last night, the "Scandal" star appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to spill the tea. During the interview, she said the play was the hardest thing she has ever done, so it's hard to talk about.

The "Confirmation" star explains how the play takes place inside of a Miami police station that tells the real-time story about a recently separated couple (black mom, white dad) who become frantic when they realize they can't find their 18-year-old son. Kerry's character tries to cope with her son's disappearance when his car turns up int he system during a traffic stop.

She described the adaptation as a "movie-play hybrid" and she wanted to do the project to continue the conversation the play generated.

Michael B. Jordan revealed he's an anime freak and now, he's starring in a new anime series. He's lending his voice as the lead character in the upcoming series from Rooster Teeth titled, "gen:LOCK."

Shadow & Act reports:

Jordan portrays Julian Chase in, gen:LOCK. A description reads: Fifty years in the future, an oppressive authoritarian force threatens to conquer the world. A daring team is recruited to pilot a new form of weaponized neuroscience that powers devastating mecha, but they must be willing to sacrifice everything to save the world.

Dakota Fanning, Maisie Williams, Asia Kate Dillon, Golshifteh Farahani and David Tennant also voice characters.

gen:LOCK is set to premiere January 26 on Rooster Teeth, which is available on iOS, Android, Xbox One, Apple TV, and at RoosterTeeth.con. Memberships starting at $4.99 a month.

French magazine Closer claims to have spoken to Chris Brown's unnamed accuser in her first interview since the rape allegations were made public. 

The 24-year-old woman, who is NOT the falsely identified IG personality Kimberley Forddespite rampant rumors, goes into detail about how the alleged incident occurred inside the pop star's Mandarin Oriental hotel room.

Closer (via Google Translate) calls the woman by the pseudonym "Karima" during the interview.  "Karima" says the day before the incident, a friend invited her to meet Chris Brown at his hotel, and she obliged.  After meeting him there, the group - consisting of about 15 girls - all went to the club in the same vehicle (which is likely translated to "the box").

"...Through a friend who works at Crystal (a Parisian nightclub, Ed). This friend asked me what I was doing the next day and if I would like to meet Chris Brown. I said yes and the next day, on Tuesday, I had an appointment at 23:30 at the hotel Mandarin Oriental to meet the rapper. At the reception of the hotel, I found myself with friends of him and other girls. We went up to his suite to pick him up and we all left in the box called "The dock"."

She says someone from Chris' camp took her by the arm at the club, and convinced her to leave with his group:

"Everything is going well. Around 4:00 am, they decide to return to the hotel. I wanted to go home , but someone around Chris Brown, took me by the arm and said: " Come we'll have a good evening ." Leaving the [club], there were two Mercedes vans that were complete. So I said, " There is no place, I'm going home. " There they said, " No, come! ", And I was put in Chris Brown's car with a another girl."

She claims Chris' bodyguard took everyone's phones upon entering back into the singer's hotel room:

"Before entering the suite, the bodyguard took everyone's cell phones. It did not seem surprising given the artist's notoriety and I did not worry ... Once in the suite, we were offered to drink. There was cocaine, shit. There were about fifteen girls, Chris Brown's friends. The music was loud people were coming out ... It was a bit of a mess."

"Karima" described the alleged rape as a violent & brutal attack that took place in the dressing room of the hotel room, after Chris pulled her in while she was walking to the bathroom.

"At one point, I go to the bathroom. Chris Brown follows me and catches me by the right arm. He makes me enter a sort of dressing room. He closed the door .... It lasted 25-30 minutes."

....

"It's still too difficult for me to explain in detail what he did, but it was brutal and violent . He was threatening and aggressive. I was very afraid. Once it was over, he opened the door. I told him that I wanted to pick up my cell phone and go home. Chris Brown went to see one of his friends. I thought this person was going to accompany me to the bodyguard for my cell phone, but that's not what he did."

She also accuses at least one of his friends of abusing her as well.  She also claims she was let go only after Chris "saw her crying" while pleading to leave:

"He took me to his room, he locked the door and he abused me too. It's been the same with the bodyguard ... (She starts to cry). The only wish I had was to go home. I was too scared. It was three muscular men, aggressive and menacing. I could not do anything. I am traumatized, I can not overcome what happened to me and resume my habits. It's horrible, I'm lost."

"Karima" says she went to the cops 2 days later out of fear, and because she didn't want the star doing this to any other girls. 

We also know Chris Brown's girlfriend, Ammika Harris, has been with him in Paris.  The accuser claims Ammika and around 20 others were actually in the room when the alleged rape occured.  TMZ reports:

"Someone connected to Brown tells us the singer was never alone with the alleged victim and says Chris' girlfriend, Ammika Harris, was in the hotel room the whole time. He says there were more than 20 people in the room "hanging out" and listening to music Brown was playing on his iPhone."

Chris was seen all loved up with Ammika at Parisian hotspot Cirque Bonheur this weekend.  They were spotted there days after the alleged incident, but before the rape report was filed.

Waka Flocka Flame and his wife Tammy Rivera had the wedding of their dreams since they didn't do a traditional ceremony when they first tied the knot. Go inside their fairytale nuptials....

Waka Flocka and his wife Tammy Rivera gathered their family and friends to jet off to Mexico to celebrate their love.

Five years ago when Waka and Tammy decided to spend the rest of their lives together, they skipped out on an extravagant wedding. They went down to the courthouse, got the paperwork, and that was that.

Apparently, they agreed that if they made it to their 5th anniversary, they would go all out to celebrate their love. It was a tough road to get their though. There were infidelity issues (on Waka's part, and Tammy later talked about her own indiscretions) and they separated in June 2016. They eventually reconciled (remember, she said "it's weak of a woman to walk away".......) and now, they're all wrapped up in love just like when they first got together.

“I told Waka that if we made it five years I wanted my dream wedding,” the reality star told PEOPLE. “Today my dream has come true. I am marrying my best friend and soulmate all over again. When God made Waka, he wrote my name beside his.”

Oh.

Over the weekend, the couple - who's currently starring on "Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition" - trekked down the aisle in their dream destination wedding in Mexico.

Tammy sashayed down the aisle in a beaded semi-see through Zuhair Murad gown with a cape to re-commit herself to her hubby. She was also rocking her new, custom 5-carat diamond ring and 3-carat wedding bands. During the reception, Waka gave Tammy's daughter, Charlie, a smaller version of her mom's ring to show his commit to being her step father:

The Paris prosecutor’s office confirms Chris Brown has been released from custody over rape allegations against him. What happens next, though, is unclear.

Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown was detained Monday on potential charges of aggravated rape and drug infractions in Paris.  After the unnamed woman accuser spoke out via an interview describing the alleged January 15th "brutal & violent" assault in detail, Chris vehemently denied there was any truth to it.  In the last hour, Chris was just released after being processed and booked.

The Associated Press put out a report minutes ago saying Paris authorities confirmed the investigation will still continue.  Simultaneously, Variety says Chris' reps told them the singer was released with no charges and cited the Associated Press. The AP doesn't mention the "no charges" aspect.  Chris has also reposted the latter story.

It's unclear if there will still be an investigation or if the case is now a dead end.

What is clear, though, is the woman people initially assumed was the accuser, is not.  Internet users caught wind of IG model Kim Ford's Stories where she reportedly mentioned an incident she dealt with in a Paris nightclub. People assumed she was speaking bout Chris Brown, but she was not.  The incident did not happen at the same time as the alleged Chris incident.

A woman named Kimberley Ford has been falsely pegged by internet users as the accuser in #ChrisBrown’s recent attest. Kim says she is not the person who accused Chris Brown, she was not raped by Chris Brown, and she doesn’t know why people are assuming she is the unnamed accuser. She spoke previously about a completely separate incident in a Paris club, which occurred days after the reported alleged assault by Chris Brown, and it had nothing to do with Chris Brown. The actual accuser remains unnamed, stands by her report, and just gave an explicit interview about what she alleged happened inside the hotel room.

Kim posting that Chris did not assault her led people to assume she was the accuser and had lied about the rape allegations.  

Kim then cleared up everything, confirming she was never the accuser, never said she was the accuser, and never accused Chris Brown of anything.

The actual accuser remains unnamed.

Virgil Abloh made history when he became Louis Vuitton’s first African-American artistic director. Now, he's making sure he leaves his mark. 

While traditional campaigns are cool, Virgil - Off-White founder & longtime creative director for Kanye West - decided to go outside the box for his first Louis Vuitton campaign, continuing to introduce new ideas that open up new boundaries in the luxury fashion industry.

For his first advertising campaign, he meshes his fashion designs, art, and boyhood in a three-part digital collection that introduces new talents, including 3-year-old Alieyth, 7-year-old Leo James Davis, and 16-year-old Luke Prael. It was shot by famed photographers Inez & Vinoodh. He also collaborated with multimedia artist Mohamed Bourouissa and Dutch photographer Raimond Wouda for the spot.

Rather than focusing on the actual products, the campaign illustrates the values of his debut SS19 collection, which was shown during Paris Fashion Week. He said he wanted to focus on what makes a man and follow through artistically from boyhood to manhood. The first batch of images, and accompanying video, by Inez & Vinoodh, focus on the pre-teen and teen stages of boyhood.

“I’m not content with just designing clothes. I am more enamored with providing a premise of why my designs exist. Today it’s the context that is the punctuation on the object,” Virgil explained to WWD.

“With the campaign, I wanted to make something that is universal and human at the core. Inclusive and dense, something that has gravity. So I decided I was going to focus the campaign on boyhood, not men’s wear. What makes men? The different stages in one’s life, from infancy all the way through teenager, adolescent, young adult to adult,” he added.

Part 2 will pay homage to French artist Gustave Courbet, which will feature models, rappers, and other industry insiders. It's set to drop February 1st. The third digital push will feature students dressed in colorful T-shirts that Virgil handed out to guests at his debut show. It drops March 22nd.

As for his debut SS19 collection...

When the YBF designer put his newest threads on display, he made sure it was a show. The set design was BOMB, the models ripped the inclusive runway with back flips (thanks to Alton Mason) and dance moves, fashion icons like Naomi Campbell was in the audience and overall, it was melaninated AF.

Celebs are still taking over the City of Light as Paris Fashion Week continues.  An it looks like a certain couple we love either didn't call it quits at all, or are happily BACK ON!

Look who popped up on the scene together: "Queen Sugar" star Kofi Siriboe and Victoria's Secret model Duckie Thot.

Earlier this month, it was speculated the Duckie and Kofi had called it quits. The YBF model posted up a cryptic message about "leaving all trash n*ggas in 2018" while the YBF actor tweeted about looking for a wife. We're not sure if they actually broke up or not. Maybe it was a PR stunt. Maybe they did call it quits. Who knows. They def look like they're back dating again as they got all cozy at the the Balmain Menswear Fall/Winter 2019-2020 show.

Chris Brown has lawyered up and will reportedly sue the woman who made claims that he raped her in his Paris hotel. Deets inside...

Chris Brown is planning to sue the woman who accused him of rape.

After he (and two others) were released from custodyand not charged, the R&B's singer' attorney, Raphael Chiche, announced he is gearing up to file a defamation suit againt the woman who made rape allegations against him. His lawyer tweeted:

#ChrisBrown est libre. Aucune poursuite n'a été exercée contre lui. Il conteste vigoureusement les accusations portées contre lui. Une plainte pour dénonciation calomnieuse sera déposée demain auprès du Procureur de la République de Paris.https://t.co/8cDWhXhUY7

The "Undecided" singer and two people from his camp were released from police custody Tuesday night after a woman accused him of "violently" raping her inside his Mandarin Oriental hotel room on January 15th.

Chris has DENIED all of the allegations brought against him:

While the Grammy Award winning singer hasn't been charged, Paris authorities are still investigating. A woman named Kim Ford was falsely accused of being the woman who made the rape allegations, but she has since come forward to shut down the rumors. The actual accuser remains unnamed.
