It hasn't been easy getting Bad Boys 3 - titled Bad Boys For Life - off the ground. For starters, Will Smith is insanely busy. However, he was able to work out his schedule to squeeze in filming for the movie. Martin didn't sign on immediately.

Now that the stand up comic finally has officially signed on, it's a go! Bad Boys II came out 15 years ago, so this is long overdue. Directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will helm the film.

Idris Elba will be doing what he does best in the upcoming Fast & Furious spin-off, Hobbs vs Shaw, starring opposite Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The British hottie was spotted on set in filming some action packed stunt scenes on the streets of Glasgow, Scotland. Paps caught him lying in a pool of broken glass and throwing a bike helmet to the ground during one scene. In the upcoming spin-off, former enemies Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw are forced into an uneasy alliance to stop the evil machinations of the villainous Brixton, played by Idris.

Quincy Brown is adding more titles under his movie career belt as he's starring in a new Netflix film just in time for the holidays.

Q is starring in The Holiday Calendar, starring opposite Kat Graham and Ron Cephas Jones. It's about a struggling, but talented, photographer inherits an antique holiday advent calendar, the contents of which seem to predict the future.

Before the holiday flick makes it way on Netflix, Quincy invited his whole family to celebrate at a special screening in Los Angeles.

The Brotherly Love star had both of dads, Al B. Sure& Diddy, his mom Kim Porter, his brothers Christian& Justin Combs, and his twin sisters D'Lila Star and Jessie James Combs.

NeNe Leakes has a message for those who think she's a deadbeat grandmother. Go inside to see Queen Petty's shade, plus some spoilers for season 11 of "Real Housewives of Atlanta"....

Folks should know by now not to come for NeNe Leakes.

The "RHOA" GLAM-ma was called out by her alleged grandson's mother, Symone Davis, with claims that she's a deadbeat grandmother. Symone, who claims to have a 1-year-old son with NeNe's eldest son Bryson Bryant, told RadarOnline she hasn't even met her son yet.

“It’s so sad, she wants nothing to do with her grandson,” Symone told Radar. “She’s so selfish, and only cares about herself and her fame.”

“Nene wants to keep my baby a secret,” the 27-year-old continued. “She has some nerve and told me she thinks I’m an opportunist and that she doesn’t want me to have any fame from her name. It’s crazy because I used to like her and be cool with her. I’ve been to her house, we’ve partied together. She was cool at first but now that I’ve had a baby by her son, she switched up.”

Well damn. While it's obvious NeNe isn't legally obligated to do anything for the child, Symone would like her to be in her son's life.

“Nene needs to humble herself,” Symone said. “She didn’t come from money, and now that she has some, she’s so full of herself. I would love for her to have a relationship with her grandson, but I think it’s past that. She’s mean and she’s not happy.”

Well, NeNe responded. And y'all already know she was shady about it.

A few spoilers have leaked (viaUS magazine) before "RHOA" premieres its 11th season soon.

When it comes to drama, newcomer Shamari DeVoe, 38, doesn’t disappoint. “She’s extremely honest and doesn’t bite her tongue,” Burruss says of the Blaque lead singer. “She’s a wild child. Nobody knows what to expect” — other than butting heads with guest Hampton. Teases Burruss, “They have moments! I can’t give away everything.”

Atlanta’s queen is putting on a brave face. With husband Gregg undergoing cancer treatment, “it’s like a roller coaster,” the 50-year-old tells Us. “We have good days, then we have bad days. I feel alone.” In her darker moments, she turns to costar Bailey and pal Marlo Hampton. “I need a f--king support system,” she adds. “Sisterhood, you really see it. We have an amazing bond this season.”

Cynthia Bailey is floating on cloud nine! Since meeting Fox Sports host Mike Hill on Steve Harvey’s show in April, the divorcée, 51, “seems like she’s so in love,” says NeNe Leakes. “He’s super nice. She’s met his parents. He’s met hers.” Still, Bailey’s pal worries she’s in too deep. Adds Leakes, “I have to scale her back some days. I want her to take it slow.”

Finally a full-time cast member, Eva Marcille is now in the hot seat. “Because it was her first year last year, she was able to cruise through a lot,” notes Burruss. “This year, people are calling her out.” And the 33-year-old’s vows with lawyer Michael Sterling create waves galore. Says Burruss, “She ends up with stressful drama. She’s going through that process where you lose friends and gain friends.”

Season 11 of "RHOA" premieres this Sunday, November 4 at 8/7c.  We'll be watching, we think...

Kanye West has been singing "Make America Great Again" praises for months. Now, he doesn't want anything to do with politics. Oh? 'Ye claims his eyes are now "wide open" to the fact that people have used him to spread messages he doesn't believe. Do tell, Kanye. Do tell.

Following his tweets, conservative commentator Candace Owens hopped on Twitter and then wrote a lengthy blog post to address Ye's tweets. Candace previously said Kanye was the one who made designs for her BLEXIT t-shirts. In the tweets, Ye said he didn't create anything, he "introduced Candace to the person who made the logo."

#BLEXIT is about the beautiful stories of so many black people who have awakened themselves to the possibilities of our future, as Americans.

I bare full responsibility.”

Now, conservatives are blaming Cadace for losing Kanye. Oop!

Montell Williams fought back tears as he opened up about his daughter battling cancer. See his emotional speech, plus Omari Hardwick's explanation about going off on fans....

Affordable healthcare is very important to Montell Williams. The former talk show host battles multiple sclerosis and he even suffered a major hemorrhagic stroke that almost took his life back in May. Not only that, his daughter is battling cancer.

The 49-year-old former Navy vet took center stage at the "Protect Our Care Nationwide Bus Tour" in Miami this week to speak about the importance of affordable healthcare and to rally health care reform. He opened up about his daughter, Maressa, who survived two bouts of lymphoma. Thanks to his insurance through the Affordable Care Act, she was able to receive medical coverage.

He went on to say how he registered as a Republican during the 22-years he served in the Navy, but now he identifies as an Independent. No longer is he voting for a particular party, he's voting for everyone who can't speak for themselves.

Omari Hardwick is on the promo trail for his new movie Nobody's Fool and he recently made a stop by Power 105's "The Breakfast Club" with his co-star Tika Sumpter.

The radio hosts played a clip of a woman who called into the show about how upset she got when Omari turned her down for a photo. She said she called him a "complete a**hole," turned around, and walked away. The "Power" star then shared his side of story, saying he didn't give her the picture because he was with his family. Not only that, he was pissed the woman didn't even acknowledge his wife, Jennifer Pfautch, standing right beside him.

"black-ish" will be adding a fresh face to its roster.

Quvenzhané Wallis just nabbed a recurring role on the hit ABC comedy series. The Oscar nominated actress will reportedly play Kyra, Dre's young cousin who comes to live with him and his family since her mother can no longer care for her. We can see it now. Kyra is going to shake up that household, especially if she has a different upbringing than Dre's kids.

If you haven't heard yet, Tyler is planning to kill off his iconic character. Earlier this week, he was chopped it up with Bevy Smith on her SiriusXM radio show "Bevelations," where he shared that Madea's run is coming to an end. He's TIREDT (no typo).

"This is it," he said about the gun-toting grandmother. "It's time for me to kill that old b*tch. I'm tired!"

No worries though. He's going to give her the proper send off after introducing the character almost two decades ago. He's planning a final cameo for Madea in a farewell stage tour and it's possible she could end up dying in A Madea Family Funeral. Aww!

“We’re gonna say goodbye in (2019)," the moviemaker said. "I just don’t want to be her age, playing her."

Following the end of "Scandal," Kerry Washington is taking her talents behind-the-scenes at ABC. She's executive producing a new church comedy for the network inspired by real-life power couple and pastors Toure Roberts and Sarah Jakes-Roberts.

Hamilton Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr. has been tapped to lead the series, which is currently in development. And get this, Leslie has attended Toure's church for over 15 years.

The untitled comedy revolves around Leslie and Hope, who are joint pastors at a young, hip, diverse church in Los Angeles, according to THR.

Through their services, online streams and books, they are experts at uniting people across different races, genders, orientations and opinions. But when it comes to uniting the people in their blended family, they are way out of their comfort zone and as a result, the teachers often find themselves the pupils.

“Kerry Washington is one of the most formidable artists of my generation. We've been searching for the better part of two years to find an idea about which we both felt passionate enough to dedicate ourselves. I’ve gone to Toure’s church for over 15 years. He is a unique, contemporary and very necessary voice. We are thrilled that ABC is allowing us the opportunity to bring Toure and Sarah’s modern views to an even wider audience in what will be a joyful and hopeful 30 minutes every week,” Odom said.

The Roberts will co-executive produce alongside Kerry via her Simpson Street production company. "The Last O.G." writer Saladin Patterson will pen the script and executive produce as well.

Speaking of new albums...

City Girls may have suffered a minor setback with one of its members turning herself into authorities for credit card fraud. However, that's not stopping their hustle.

The Miami rap duo (Yung Miami and JT) is gearing up to drop their sophomore album, Girl Code. They recently revealed the new album cover art and release date. Fans can expect the musical offering to drop November 16th.

JT, 1/2 of City Girls, turned herself into Miami's Federal Detention Center for apparent fraudulent credit card charges back in July. Since she has been in lockup, the group has been releasing new content, including "Not Ya Main" video and their Point Blank Period documentary.

According to Yung Miami, JT is expected to be released from prison in December. "JT will be home in December," Yung Miami posted on Twitter last month. Drake, Trina and LaLa Anthony have shown support since J.T. was locked up.

And H.E.R. stays serving up new music.  Chick knows what we need to kick off cuffing season right.  Part 2 of her debut 'I Used To Know Her' EP, dubbed the Prelude, just dropped today, and it's 8 more tracks of R&B perfection.  Yessss.

As you all know, it was reported LaLa and Carmelo Anthony separated back in April 2017. However, as time as went on, we've been seeing sprinkles of a possible reconciliation between the two.

We all know Melo wants LaLa back as he has been thirsting after his wife on social media real heavy. In December 2017, LaLa popped up at one of his games and then in September 2018, the two attended an event together, snapping pictures as if they were a couple again. We've also spotted them together on dinner dates with their son Kiyan Anthony and attending his basketball events as well.

Well, now ish is getting messy again.

Word on the curb is that since Melo and LaLa have been working through their issues, his alleged daughter's mom Mia Burks is feeling the effect of it all. We hear he hasn't seen the baby in months and apparently is no longer co-parenting with Mia.

Mia hopped on Instagram recently to let those people who keep sending her vile messages to STOP. If they don't want to see her baby, she said they can just NOT visit her page. She also said while her dad won't defend the baby, she's going to stand up for her baby till the end. Peep the message below:

Things aren't looking good for Kimora Lee Simmons' husband Tim Leissner. He just pleaded guilty to a BILLION dollar laundering scandal. More inside...

Chile, Kimora Lee Simmons is likely going through it after her husband Tim Leissner pleaded guilty to criminal charges related to a Malaysian money laundering scandal.

Two years ago, we told you Tim, former chairman of Goldman Sachs’ Southeast Asia business, was being investigated by the FBI for some shady business practices involving his investment firm. Now, he's coming clean.

According to WWD, the U.S. Justice Department subpoenaed Tim after billions (not millions, billions) of dollars went missing from a Malaysian government wealth fund, 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), which was set up to boost the country's economy. Really, Tim? Did he not think billions of dollars would go unnoticed? The site reports:

Leissner, another former Goldman Sachs banker, Roger Ng, and a Malaysian financier Jho Low were charged by federal prosecutors in Brooklyn over their alleged role in the loss of funds from 1MDB. These were the first U.S. criminal charges surrounding the scandal.

Leissner pleaded guilty to conspiracy to launder money and violate foreign anti-bribery laws, allegedly bribing officials in Malaysia and Abu Dhabi. He has been ordered to forfeit $43.7 million, according to court filings. Ng, a managing director at the investment bank until 2014, was arrested this week in Malaysia, while Low is on the run.

$43.7 milli? Sheesh!

Last year, the NY Post published an article that said Tim was fiancing Kimora's designer label Kimora Lee Simmons', but she quickly pumped the breaks on that. At the time, she said:

“I’ve been around for quite some time. I’m an old lady so I’ve always been self-sustaining, self-funded. I’ve had Baby Phat and at one point Phat Farm, too. I’ve had Couture by Kimora, Fabulosity, KLS so this is not my first ride at the rodeo. I’ve had six or seven successful fragrances,” she said last year.

True. She has been in the game and likely didn't need his money to fund her lifestyle or her businesses. The NY Post ended up issuing her an apology. The model/fashion mogul has not addressed her husband pleading guilty.

As you can imagine, folks were flooding her comments section with commentary about how she hated herself, while others accused her of doing it for attention.

Turns out, she wanted to help raise awareness to colorism via her new track "Black Hypocrisy." Spice has been very vocal about how much colorism affects the black community, so she decided to do something that she knew would grab everyone's attention so that she can share the message she wanted to reach the masses.

She hopped on IG to confirm she did not bleach her skin and said she changed her appearance simply to raise awareness to colorism.

On October 22nd I posted a picture of myself where i looked like I altered my appearance and metamorphosis to match the “Eurocentric beauty standards," she worte. I fearlessly addressed an issue that has been swept under the rug and boldly took the stance in bringing a taboo topic to the fore front. I chose to do this in the manner I did because I believe Colorism is plagiarizing our black community.

While It appeared as if I had “bleached” my skin, causing a world wide debate, and even though the picture was obviously birthed around my single titled“Black hypocrisy” and my mixtape Captured.I want to openly say it was not a “publicity stunt”. I wanted to create awareness to “Colorism” and it was more so done intentionally to create shock value so that I could have the worlds undivided attention to deliver the message in my music.

CBS 46 reports police identified Sutton Tennyson as the man who was shot in the garage of a home in southwest Atlanta. They report an argument led up to the shooting:

A man who was fatally shot Saturday afternoon has been identified as 37-year-old Sutton Tennyson.

Tennyson was shot multiple times around 4:30 p.m. in the garage of a building located in the 600 block of Jewel Drive SW. Atlanta Police say the shooting happened as a result of an argument between at least two people.

So sad. He would have celebrated his 38th birthday on November 5th.

In very tragic news, it's being reported Angela Simmons' ex-fiancé /son's father Sutton Tennyson was allegedly shot and killed yesterday (Nov. 3rd).

According to The Shade Room, Sutton was "shot and killed today at his home." No further details are known at this moment. There isn't confirmation of Sutton's death from anywhere. However, some are crediting a local Atlanta news story to be related to Sutton.

11Alive.com reports an unidentified man was shot to death in the garage of a southwest Atlanta home on Saturday around 4:30pm.

The news site reports:

A man was found shot to death in the garage of a home in southwest Atlanta on Jewel Drive SW. on Saturday around 4:30 p.m.

Police said it appears the man was shot after a dispute between three people. Everyone has been identified and there are no suspects at large.

Major Michael O’Connor with Atlanta Police said that the house was under renovation and it is unclear if the victim lived at the home or might have been working there.

Yesterday, Angela was in Philadelphia with her sister Vanessa Simmons to host her uncle Danny Simmons' inaugural the "Art For Life Philadelphia" event. Her brother JoJo Simmons was also in attendance.

Angela began dating Sutton in 2015, got engaged and they welcomed a baby boy, Sutton Jr., in September 2016. In late 2017, Angela announced she and Sutton were calling off their engagement. In an interview with Power 105's "The Breakfast Club," she explained why she and Sutton, who is rumored to have a not so clean reputation in the streets, decided to call it quits, saying:

"Things don't always work," she said. "You can plan, plan, plan, but God sometimes have another plan or your actions are going to have your plan change drastically. ... Personally, things change. People come in and out your life. People change and you just have to be willing to accept that. Drake's upset. He publicly accused a Vancouver casino of profiling him, blocking him from gambling. More inside...

Drake jetted to Vancouver to perform two shows at Vancouver's Rogers Arena this weekend on his "Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour." However, everything isn't all peaches and cream.

The Toronto native claims he was blocked from gambling at luxury resort Parq Vancouver's casino Friday night. The reason? He blames "profiling." Drizzy hopped on Instagram Stories to share his disgust with the casino. In the post, he says he did everything the establishment asked of him, yet he still was not granted access to gamble. Check it:

"Parq Casino @parqvancouverbc is the worst run business I have ever witnessed...profiling me and not allowing me to gamble when I had everything they originally asked me for," he explained.

We all know the power of social media. Fans began flooding the venue's Instagram comments section in his defense. Their comments section is in complete shambles with trashcan emojis and folks calling the venue out. Drizzy has 50 million IG followers.

As a result of the backlash, the venue issued several statements about the incident.

"Parq Vancouver is sorry to hear about this experience and takes these matters very seriously," the statement reads. "We are required to adhere to strict regulations with respect to gaming in British Columbia. We are actively investigating this matter and have made several efforts to reach out to the customer and his team to discuss the issue. We are committed to having a productive conversation to resolve this issue."

Apparently, there are complicated regulations when the casino receives more than $10,000 in cash deposits. The CBC reports:

As of December 2017, B.C. casinos must provide a "source of funds declaration" when receiving $10,000 or more in cash deposits or bearer bonds as part of an effort to combat money laundering. The government said such declarations must include the customer's identification, the source of their funds and information on their financial institution.

"We are constantly improving our communications process to ensure that these new regulations are better understood by all guests," Parq Vancouver president Joe Brunini.

No word on how they settled this.

Congrats are in order for Kenya Moore and her husband Marc Daly!

The married couple just welcomed their first child together, a daughter they named Brooklyn Doris Daly.

The 47-year-old reality star reportedly gave birth via c-section to her daughter at 9:39am EST on November 4th, weighing in at 5lbs and 12 oz. The former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, who conceived through in vitro fertilization, and the NYC restaurant owner gave their baby a name that holds a special meaning.

“Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me,” the new mom told PEOPLE magazine.

Thankfully, mom and baby are doing great after the former Miss USA shared some news about developing preeclampsia. In an Instagram post last week, Kenya revealed she gained 17lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention.

She posted a picture on Instagram of her swollen feet, in which she captioned,

"I made fun of my swollen feet at @cynthiabailey10 party. Next day my tests came back for possible preeclampsia... I gained 17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal! I took more tests. Baby is fine but if they come back higher #babydaly will have to come same day."

Actress Rebel Wilson set Twitter off when she made claims that she's the first plus-sized woman to ever star in a romantic comedy. Rebel appeared on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" to promote her new movie Isn't It Romantic and she gave herself credit as the first plus-sized actress to lead a romantic comedy.

“I’m proud to be the first-ever plus-sized girl to be the star of a romantic comedy,” she told Ellen.

The quote made its way online and one Twitter user (a white woman) called Rebel out, noting Queen Latifah and Mo'Nique have both lead romantic comedies in the past.

And she's right. Queen Latifah has lead rom coms Just Wright and Last Holiday. Mo'Nique has lead Phat Girlz and Ricki Lake played lead in the TV rom com movie, Babycakes.

Yet, Rebel still believes there's a "grey area" when it comes to plus-sized actresses leading rom coms. She responded:

So, it looks like the rumors are true. Future made his way to Joie Chavis' baby shower and his girlfriend (?) Brittni Mealy is all in her feelings. See what she said, plus take a peek inside Lyrica and A1's baby shower inside...

Well, it looks like Future just confirmed the rumor that he's the father of Joie Chavis' baby.

The Atlanta rapper popped up at Joie's baby shower over the weekend. And one guest snapped the evidence of his attendance, wishing both Joie and Future congratulations!

So this baby would make the Dirty Sprite rapper the father of 5 children whom he shares with 5 different women. Whew, chile. The new baby will also have 5 older siblings as Joie shares a daughter with rapper/"Growing Up Hip Hop" star Bow Wow.

It's unclear if Future and Joie were ever in a relationship. However, Future has seemingly gotten back together with one of his kids' mothers.

Back in August, Future publicly claimedhis son's mother Brittni Mealy as the special woman in his life. Since then, Brittni has been posting up her BAE non-stop on her Instagram stories and they seen rocking diamond rings on their wedding fingers.  Y'all know how these chicks do the moment they get claimed.

Well, she's all up in her feelings on social media after folks got to commenting on pictures of her MAN at Joie's baby shower. She hopped on Instagram Stories with a message for all the "messy" folks all up in her business:

During this conversation, the radio personality congratulates the rapper on his successes by hinting at a possible lawn sized bag Future has caught.

"You know what bag I'm talking 'bout," Greg Street says in response to Future's attempt to shy away from the topic. "That 30 million plus sized bag. I heard it was 36,37." Future then interjected stating the Street's projections were "about 20 million off," playfully confirming that his new situation is worth more than $50 million.

At another baby shower over the weekend....

"Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" stars Lyrica and A1 celebrated their upcoming bundle of joy! They're have a baby boy that they're going to name Bentley. The producer and songwriter invited all of their close family and friends to their LA baby shower. Diddy just celebrated his 49th birthday and he did it BIG. Go inside to see the Hip Hop mogul go skydiving and hit the dance floor at his star-studded bash...

Jumping out of planes to celebrate your birthday seems to be the new trend. Will Smith did it for his 50th birthday, and he even talked his wifeJada Pinkett Smith to do it as well to celebrate his birthday. Now, Diddy is following suit.

The Hip Hop mogul turned 49 yesterday (November 4th) and he went ALL out to celebrate. Surrounded by his kids and friends, Diddy got suited and booted before skydiving out of a plane yesterday. Hey, we're talking about DIddy here, so this isn't much of a surprise.

"IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!!! I’M ABOUT TO JUMP OUT OF A PLANE. MAKE SURE YOU GET OUT AND VOTE ON TUESDAY!!! LET’S GOOOOO!!!!!!!!!," Diddy wrote on Instagram.

In a video clip, he explained earlier this year he wanted to jump out of a plane while in Dubai, but he wasn't able to make it happen. Instead, he decided to do it for his birthday. He also noted that he wanted to do this BEFORE he saw Will Smith do it. S he's not bandwagon pimpin'.

After the adrenaline rush and a quick facial, Diddy got ready to party it up with his celeb friends in LA.  In the most epic way possible.  Everybody and their grandma (literally, Janice Combs pulled up too) was there:

Genasis and his girlfriend Malika Haqq, Janelle Monae, Mary J. Blige, Tracee Ellis Ross, "Insecure" star Sarunas Jackson, Anthony Anderson and his wife Alvina Stewart,"Grown-ish" star Luka Sabbat and his rumored girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, model Jordyn Woods, Draya, and Nipsy Hussle:

After partying at Ysabel, Diddy brought the party to his LA mansion. According to reports, things got so out of control the cops were called due to loud music being played at 2 in the morning. TMZ reports:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... police received multiple calls around 2 AM Monday for a disturbance at Diddy's L.A. home, and when cops arrived, they spoke to security and told them to call it off. Things went pretty smoothly once cops showed up ... police told security to shut it down or they would have to enter and disperse the crowd, and the guards obliged.

Lordt. Sounds like one hell of a party.

Angela Simmons has been pouring her heart out on what would have been her ex-fiance/son's father Sutton Tennyson's birthday. Plus, details on her custody battle with Sutton just days before his death have been made public.

Today is a hard day for Angela Simmons.

She's mourning the death of her ex-fiance/son's father Sutton Tennyson after he was shot and killed in the garage of his Atlanta home on Saturday (November 3rd). Today would have been his 38th birthday, and it's also the original due date of their 2-year-old son, Sutton Jr.

The "Growing Up Hip Hop" star posted a tribute to her son's father revealing she's "numb" after learning of his untimely death. She thanked him for "leaving behind the greatest gift," and said she promises to "hold SJ down in every way."

According to the AJC, Sutton is the victim of a homicide. He was reportedly found dead with multiple gunshot wounds inside an open garage on Jewel Drive in southwest Atlanta.

Atlanta police spokesman Officer Jarius Daugherty shared Sutton was talking with a man in the driveway when "the conversation escalated" and the man shot Sutton multiple times. The suspect left the scene in a car. The shooting is still being investigated.

To make matters worse, Angela and Sutton were in court days before he was shot as they were trying to come to an agreement on the custody of their 2-year-old son. A source told Page Six, the former engaged couple was in Manhattan Family Court on October 30th. He was paying over $1,000/month in child support, but Angela reportedly wanted more. ">called in quits in December 2017, Angela had filed for an order or protection against Sutton and she also had temporary custody of Sutton Jr.

The site provides the details:

It wasn’t lovey dovey, there’s a reason people go to court,” the source said. Tennyson was paying around $1,250 a month in child support, but Simmons — the shoe designer daughter of Run D.M.C.’s Rev. Run — wanted more money, the source said.

She’d received temporary custody of Sutton Jr. in July after filing for an order of protection against Tennyson in December 2017, the source said. Simmons had made domestic violence claims against Tennyson in December when the couple split, the source said.

Just ahead of his untimely death, Tennyson was preparing a bid for joint custody while enjoying nightly FaceTime with his son, the source said.

“He tried hard to be in the child’s life,” the source added.

Tennyson’s attorney, Daniel Nottes, said, “It’s devastating to hear about this tragedy. Mr. Tennyson was a loving father. It’s very sad his son will grow up without him.”

Simmons’ lawyer, Daniel Lipschutz, declined to comment on the matter.

“Ms. Simmons has no comment and thanks the media for respecting her privacy as she grieves the tragic loss of her son’s father,” he said.

So sad. Prayers up for everyone involved, especially Sutton Jr.
