Courtney Kemp just inked a new deal with Lionsgate and a few "Power" spin-offs will come out of it. Who should they feature? Let us know inside, plus get the latest with Taye Diggs being sued by his former managers inside...
Get those coins, Courtney Kemp!
After bringing us one of the hottest cable series ever, "Power" creator Courtney Kemp is gearing up to bring us some more heat. She just inked a new 3-year overall wide-ranging deal with STARZ's parent company Lionsgate. And that means we're getting MORE "Power."
Deadline reports the "Power" franchise will be expanded into several spin-offs and the EMMY nominated producer will also be working on other projects that'll span multiple platforms. Nice!
The site reports:
Deemed as “one-of-a-kind” agreement by Lionsgate itself, the development and production deal launches Kemp and her End of Episode shingle to expand the Power franchise with potential spinoffs among a number of commitments by Starz. Additionally, the compact encompasses other projects for Lionsgate to take to market for Kemp on a multitude of platforms. While officially no one’s offering specific terms for the deal, it is over a three-year period of time, I hear, with a very solid investment from Lionsgate.
“I’m incredibly proud of the success we’ve had with Power and I’m excited about expanding our banner and diversifying the types of stories we’re telling," Kemp said. “Chris brings with her a depth of experience that will elevate End of Episode to a new level and I’m looking forward to exploring new ways of writing about my obsession: the intersections of violence, power, sex and romance.”
Yassss! And we can't wait to see it all.
Heyyyyyyy there #powertv fans..... spinoffs coming atcha... and other series I’m really excited to bring to you.... And no I’m not telling you who survives Season 6! br>Thank you… https://t.co/ZOwgrPy7CX

Since 50 Cent's character Kanan died, we predict he'll get a spin-off. Which character would you like to see get their own show? Let us know in the comments.
In legal news...
Actor Taye Diggs is knee deep in legal woes.
It's being reported he's being sued by his former management company - the he fired - over unpaid commissions. Authentic Talent and Literary Management claims the "Empire" star still owes them money for working deals to get him on TV shows like "All American" and "Beauty and the Beast." Not to mention, they claim they were able to nab him "a slew of endorsement deals." Yikes.
Deadline shares the details:
The actor’s Deep Down Productions also is a defendant in the suit filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court. Authentic says it is owed “substantial sums of money” and that “these sums continue to accrue.” “Plaintiff has made repeated efforts to obtain payment from Diggs in order to avoid litigation,” the suit says. “Regrettably, however, Diggs has failed and refused to abide by his obligations hereunder and to tender commissions and post-termination commissions and other payments due and owing Plaintiff.”
The filing says Diggs hired Authentic to manage his career in June 2015 and that Authentic performed “exemplary” services until he fired the firm in late July. “Diggs has wrongfully failed and refused to abide by his legal obligations to pay Plaintiff commissions in connection with the numerous deals and employment obtained during the parties’ management relationship, including but not limited to the following: the All American, Beauty and the Beast, Crossovers, 25 Words or Less and [multiple] endorsement deals.”
The suit seeks unspecified damages and declaratory relief. Attorneys Mathew Rosengart and Michael Neighbors of Greenberg Traurig LLP in Los Angeles are representing Authentic in the suit.
More money, more problems.

Good genes! Zoe Kravitz recreates her mom Lisa Bonet's nude Rolling Stone cover 30 years later. And she's a spitting image of her mother. Get into her HOT magazine editorials and more inside...
The phrase, "Like mother, like daughter" doesn't get any more true when you're discussing Zoe Kravitz and her equally famous mother, Lisa Bonet.
The celebuspawn is a true replica of her mother that it's almost scary.
The "Big Little Lies" star took it up a notch by recreating her mother's iconic nude Rolling Stone cover, exactly 30 years later. The former "Cosby" star posed nude for Rolling Stone's 1988 Hot Issue at the age of 21. And Zoe just paid homage to her mother's epic cover and spread at the age of 29.
“I’ve always loved that cover so much,” she told the magazine. “When I think of Rolling Stone, that’s always the image that pops into my head. It’s a really striking image of her. It’s beautiful.”
As you can see, the cover is a bit different from her mother's actual cover, but there's a good reason why.
“I think she was a little bummed when they used the shirt picture as the cover,” Zoe shared. “I think she just thought, ‘I’m doing it, let’s do it!’” So Kravitz decided she wanted to do the cover her mom wanted but didn’t get. “It’s less about the picture,” she said, “and more about doing the thing my mom intended to do. That feels cool.”
In the cover story, Zoe opened up about how she once took her mom for granted, but now, she understands the sacrifice she made for her to grow up at least semi-normal and with some privacy.
"Looking back, it’s hard: My mom gave up everything for me, and I kind of took that for granted; and then my dad gets to stroll into town, and he’s the hero. I look back and really feel for her in that situation.”
The Mad Max: Fury Road actress also touched on her mom's former boss/co-star Bill Cosby (who is currently in prison on sexual assault charges) and the "dark vibe" her mom always felt around him:
When Bill Cosby, creator of A Different World, heard Bonet was pregnant, he reportedly was very upset. (Bonet says she doesn’t remember, but she does call him “Mr. Righteous,” which kind of says all you need to know.) Bonet was written off her own show, and when she came back to The Cosby Show a few months later, she appeared in a limited number of episodes before eventually leaving for good. “Her and him never got along,” Kravitz said. “Whether he was attracted to her, or he resented her having a mind of her own, she always got a weird vibe from him. A dark vibe.” She said she recently found a photo of herself on set as a baby, with Cosby holding her. “It’s actually a really disturbing picture,” she shared. “His face is not a sweet face at all. It’s kind of creepy.”
Then, Zoe opened up about being sexually harassed on set, however, she didn't mention who the person was.
“I won’t name names, because I don’t want to ruin anyone’s life,” she says. “But I definitely worked with a director who made me very uncomfortable. I was young — maybe 19 or 20 — and we were on location, staying at the same hotel. And it was full-on: ‘Can I come inside your room?’ Just totally inappropriate. And then he’d do things like come to the makeup trailer and touch my hair. Or say, ‘Let me see your costume — turn around?’ It’s just never OK for someone to do that. Especially when they’re in a position of power.”
Take a peek at the rest of Zoe's sexy spread below:
She killed it.

Birthday girl Gabrielle Union threw another epic birthday party and it was everything! Go inside her 90s "Teen Spirit" themed birthday bash with her hubby Dwyane Wade, rapper Lil Kim, model Winnie Harlow and more inside...
Every year, Gabrielle Union goes all out to celebrate her birthday and this year was no different. For her 90s Teen Spirit themed birthday bash, the birthday girl got all dressed up as singer Gwen Stefani. And guess what? She did it WITHOUT whiteface. Go figure.
The now 46-year-old actress (BLACK DON'T EVER CRACK!) rocked a look from No Doubt's 1996 music video, "Spiderwebs." Meanwhile, her hubby Dwyane Wade served up early Will Smith vibes, rocking the outfit Will wore in the "Fresh Prince" intro.
Peep the clip above.

Today is her actual birthday, just two days before Halloween 2018. To celebrate, she threw a 90s themed "Teen Spirit" bash at Byblos Miami with her family and friends over the weekend.
Rapper Lil Kim popped up on Gabby as a surprise and performed. The "Jump Off" started playing and Kimmy came out as a total surprise to Gabby.
Model Winnie Harlow, model Shannon Hamilton, rapper Fat Joe and his wife Lorena Cartagena, NBA baller Udonis Haslem, singer Tank, and "Daily Show" host Trevor Noah:
The party looked EXTRA LIT. Get into it below:
Fun times. Happy Birthday Gabby!
Cardi B (and her hubby Offset) have a cereal obsession and love to chow down on some exotic flavors. Birthday cake cereal is a thing, would you try it? Oh, and Chick-Fil-A is now serving macaroni and cheese. Decide if you would try either inside....
Cereal has been a staple for breakfast in households for over 100 years. It's the quickest thing to eat when you're starving in the morning and it even makes for a great snack. While you may love cereal, we BET your obsession for it isn't as big as Cardi B and Offset's.
If you didn't know, Bardi and Offset have a huge cereal collection that keeps growing. Take a peek below:

Now, they're munching on a new flavor. The "I Like It" rapper hopped on social media recently to ponder where the hell did Offset find birthday cake flavored Froot Loops! Maybe he copped him them for her birthday, which she celebrated a few weeks ago.
See it below:
They actually look like they would be BOMB. Would you eat it?
Over the weekend....

Speaking of #YBFEats (our fellow foodies feel us on this random deliciousness)...
Yep, you read that right. One of your fave fast food restuarants is bringing a Thanksgiving staple to the menu.
Chick-Fil-A is currently testing macaroni and cheese at some of its restuarants nationwide. Depending on how it goes will predict whether it will be permanently added to the menu in more markets. Right now, the mac & cheese side item is being served (for a limited time) in Baltimore, MD, Greensboro, NC, Houston and San Antonio Texas, Nashville, TN and Phoeniz, AZ.
"These tests will help Chick-fil-A decide whether or not the menu item will become available nationwide in the future," the company said in a statement sent to USA TODAY.
Here's what a few people have to say about the new side item:

I drove to Baltimore: one of the markets where @ChickfilA is testing Mac & Cheese.

Hmm... There aren't any raisins in it, so that's a plus. (Y'all know how certain folks do sometimes.) We can't front though, NOTHING tastes bad at Chik-Fil-A.
Would you Chick-Fil-A's mac & cheese?!
Tyga pulled up at Queen Radio today to drop his and Nicki Minaj's new track and video for "Dip". Get it all inside...
Tyga and Nicki Minaj premiered their new video & track "Dip" today on Queen Radio. Tyga sent Nicki two songs of his, and she chose to drop a couple verses on "Dip" because he already had the line"I got a black Barbie, she into menages..."
She said once she heard that she"knew it was meant to be."
Nicki revealed the whole aesthetic of the video was Tyga's idea, and compared him to Kanye West - who produced the track - when it comes to vision:
"I was supposed to be flying upside down and we were running late, and I think I was happy, on the low. The video is so fresh and clean, I love the song, I love the vibe.We coordinated so well for the video. We put the colors together — you’ll understand when you see the video. The video is clean and fly as f*ck. He sits behind the monitor and directs and really gets involved."
"He's extremely f*cking talented," she said about Tyga today on Queen radio. And him sending her two full bags of Prada to say Thank You didn't hurt either. She rocked the pink Prada sneakers he copped her in the studio today.
Nicki told him she never knew what all the hype about him was about and she never got “why would bad bitches like Tyga”, but now she knows. And if she "wasn't already a rich b*tch," her "pu**y would have tingled too." Ha.
Peep the video below:
Next up for Nicki: She has a track on the upcoming Creed 2 soundtrack she says is "hard as f**k." She's also headed to Spain for the MTV European Music Awards. It goes down at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre November 4th.
Who says you can't have privacy when you're a celebrity. Zoe Kravitz has been engaged to her longtime boyfriend Karl Glusman for eight months and no one knew. More inside...
When a celebrity really wants to keep a secret, it can be done.
Actress Zoe Kravitz is pulling a page from Beyonce's & Kerry Washington's books when it comes to keeping things under wraps...until they decide to spill everything.
The "Big Little Lies" actress has been secretly engaged to her boyfriend/actor Karl Glusman since February of this year! Not only that, she has been wearing her engagement ring (even at red carpet events) and no one suspected a thing.
The 29-year-old actress bares it all on the cover of Rolling Stones November 2018 issue (which is a tribute to her mom Lisa Bonet's 1988 nude cover). Not only did she show off her bod, but she also let fans in on her love life. And she dropped a huge bomb so nonchalantly.
“Oh yeah, I’m engaged,” Zoe spilled to the publication. “I haven’t told anyone yet — I mean, I haven’t told the world. I wanted to keep it private.”
We don't blame her either. She was able to announce the good news on her own time.
Zoe and Karl have been dating for two years. He popped the question about a year and a half in. He tried to surprise her in Paris, but work got in the way and he had to change it up. And quickly! She shared how the romantic moment went down:
“I was in sweatpants,” recalls Kravitz. “I think I was a little drunk.” Glusman lit some candles and put on Nina Simone (her favorite), then laid down and started hugging her. “I could feel his heart beating so fast — I was like, ‘Baby, are you OK?’ I was actually worried about him!” Glusman dropped to one knee, and Kravitz said, “ ‘Yes, stretch! Stretch to calm your heart down!’ ”
But then he pulled out a box, and inside was the ring: the exact one she’d been fantasizing about. “He nailed it,” she says. “And I love that it wasn’t this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants.”
Like we said, Zoe hasn't hidden the fact that she was engaged. She wore her engagement ring on the red carpet at the 2018 Met Gala back in May as she posed it up in a black Saint Laurent lace dress. Check it:
Congrats to the couple!
Countess Vaughn is down for a reboot of "The Parkers." Are you? Share your thoughts inside...
With so many reboots in the works (i.e. "Martin," "Sister, Sister," "Bad Boys," etc.) Countess Vaughn wants to bring back her own TV show that thrusted her in the limelight.
The YBF actress/singer is drumming up some noise to have UPN's "The Parkers" make a return to our living rooms every week. She posted a screenshot from a video of her on-screen mom Mo'Nique with a caption about a "Parkers" reboot:
Countess isn't the only one excited about a reboot. Dorien Wilson, who played Professor Oglevee, also took to social media back in March to ask his fans if they would be interested in a reboot. He posted a collage of the cast with the caption, "TBT ... PARKERS REBOOT?"
Countess reposted on her IG at the time:
So that's TWO castmates down for a replay.
In case you're too young to remember, "The Parkers" was a TV sitcom that ran from 1999-2004 that featured a mother daughter duo (Nikki & Kim Parker) who both attended Santa Monica College. Nikki (played by Mo'Nique) had to drop out of school when she learned she was pregnant with Kim (played by Countess). The show followed the mother-daughter duo living life as students and roommates, both looking for love. It was a spin-off from "Moesha."
By the series finale, Nikki had finally nabbed Professor Oglevee and they made it down the aisle as Kim serenaded the audience during their nuptials. It would be interesting to know how everything went down after the wedding.
Check out a refresher below:
No word on if Mo would be interested in a reboot. We'd also like to note, "Parkers" & "Moesha" star Yvette Wilson, who played Andell, passed away in 2012 after a battle with cervical cancer. She was 48.
Are you here for a "Parkers" reboot or nah?
Yes ma'am! Vivica A. Fox stays on her grind honey and stays making a coin. She teaches us about the finesse of the casual suit slay inside...

Nothing like Gucci and some chicken.
Al B. Sure and Tyson Beckford came out to celebrate too:
We snagged pics of the restaurant almost at completion. Shaq stays with a new coin too, so congrats to him.
Yesterday, the sister was saying some more rude things about me, and lies. SO am i supposed to just not defend myself ever? I’m the queen and I’m rich and all that, I get it.
I’m sure there’s surveillance footage. Rah really really beat Cardi’s ass bad. Like, really bad. And I’m not trying to be messy. You went home and told people Security hit you. And we let you tell that lie… and I told Rah to not say she hit her because legalities. I knew they would sue the person with money.
Rah held her head and hit her about 8-10 times. The hardest punch’s I ever heard in my life.
The punches were so hard in your head that I was mad at Rah. But Rah didn’t like your attitude, the way you came at me. Rah said "I couldn’t take that chance, she looked like she was about to come at you."As soon as Rah let your head up, I saw the knot on your head. You know damn well a ni**a didn’t put that knot on your head. But I let it ride.
And then you have your sister go and talk about me and say I’m leaking numbers. The way I look. I’m a bad bitch. The fact that she, or either of you, would even talk about my looks….
You can’t control your sister but you want me to control millions of fans. That lady that was with you didn’t touch Rah. Didn’t do a thing. Nobody that was with you didn’t touch Rah. And you know that. Whoever wants to pull up the surveillance footage, I’ll give you $100K. Lie for what? I don’t have to. I’m not a child. But you got your sister calling my friends all kind of mess. Why are y’all so obsessed with me? You always on Live talking about me and my fans. Leave us alone.I’m not going to let Rah look like a liar. She tried to take the camera from my cameraman because sh didn’t want that out. But I’m not going to put that out sweetheart, you getting beat up.
Your sister bringing up Nicki, FOR WHAT? Let’s make our music and just be happy. This is ridiculous. I don’t want to put the footage out, but….”
I just want people to keep my name out of their mouth. You get mad when my fans defend me, but you allow people close to you to defame my character. We can all make this stop.
For the slow ones in the back on the blogs, I offered money for the footage from the venue. I have footage on my own camera but I was asking for the overhead footage that the venue may have. #QueenRadio. Y’all listen to snippets of my show & think y’all Albert Einstein. #DipVIDEO
— QUEEN (@NICKIMINAJ) October 29, 2018
We let so much ride. I let it ride that I met up with you in a hotel room and you told me my 21 Savage verse was about you. I told my engineer I didn't know anything about her. Offset and 21 Savage didn't do that London on da track record because she said I was talking about her. It was clear she wanted to turn them against me and that's what she did. On Krippy Kush record, she wanted to be on it. It went from 21 Savage to Travis Scott — he wasn’t allowed, because he was on her single. I can say you stopped two bags! They asked if I was okay putting Travis instead of 21 and I said sure, and he ended up being in the video. There’s certain things I won’t say because it will cause problems in her circle. And I’m not a devious person.
You can't lie on me, leaking numbers. Now you know the truth. Your big sister came home and lied to you, now what? You asked me to be on your second single. And I said no because I felt it was too much because “Motorsport” was about to come out. Now you all lovey dovey with them girls, why you not ask Remy and Kim to be on your second single? There’s so many things I can say but I don’t. I love where I am in my life. I was fine with leaving everything good. We can just be happy. There’s nothing that really makes me not like you like that, you know what I’m saying? You know the things I spoke to you in the hotel room — we going to keep them between me and you, for now.
London on da track was so disappointed. I felt bad for him. I wasn’t dissing you when I called you a quarterback on “Motorsport” — when Wayne said that’s the best compliment I could give a female rapper. She planted those seeds for people not to like me. She did. I’m perfectly fine with never talking about this again. And me never bringing you up again and you never bringing me up again. I hear the shots you taking, but I’m a rapper, remember that.We have you on footage trying to take my cameraman’s camera. There’s a reason why you wanted that footage, babe.
Nicki on female rappers turning the rap game into "clown sh*t":
Every female rapper that has a semi-pretty looking face, they’re telling them they’re a rapper now. I remember when I was coming up, every female rapper was hard. You cannot tell me when we were coming up — Kim, Foxy, Eve, Trina, Lauryn, Left Eye — everybody could actually still rap, though. Now, it’s a joke. We took rap and made it into a joke. If you cute, got a couple Instagram followers, you’re a rapper now, what? It’s not even a passion.
They all Lil Wayne fans. I’ll never say what Wayne thinks of the current state of hip-hop. Lil Waynes and Lil Nickis. They’ll pretend they don’t like us or aren’t inspired by us. When Wayne was creating Young Money, he cared about lyrics. He still cares about lyrics. I don’t even understand what they’re saying.Let me be clear — I love a lot of people from Atlanta, but I don't think it has to do with where you’re from. It has to do with passion. Young Thug is passionate. Future is passionate about music. I want to see the passion in music. But now, we’ve got people putting together the most ABC raps with all the confidence in the world. When you see people being posted over and over on a blog, there’s a reason for that. People is paying for it. I haven’t paid a blog ever to post anything.I’m a NY bitch from the heart, but Tyga makes me feel like I wish I was from LA. Being from NY, we loved Snoop and Eazy-E, we loved westside culture. When you come up listening to Jay-Z, Nas, Foxy, Kim — they were rapping with so much passion. Not only are there ABC rhymes now, they lack passion. We’re just going to keep giving them a pass.A lot of people bring up 6ix9ine — not only does he have passion, he has an ear. I do want rappers to be passionate about rap. Lyrics aren’t a criteria anymore? This is some clown shit, now. The reality TV shows did it. When you take reality TV shows and mix with Instagram, then you get an overnight celebrity. They’re forgetting that they’re a gimmick and then their head is getting big, and then they’ve created a monster.
The cast of Nobody's Fool was front and center on the purple carpet for the movie's NYC premiere. Go inside for flicks of Tiffany Haddish, Tika Sumpter, Amber Riley, Whoopi Goldberg, Tyler Perry and more...
Tyler Perry has a new comedy for us to laugh our a**es off, and it's his first R-Rated film to hit movie theaters. OK, Tyler!
Nobody's Fool looks like it'll be one many of us can semi-relate to when it comes to online dating. In the comedy, Tika Sumpter plays Danica, a woman who has been involved in a one-year online relationship with a man she has never seen. Her sister Tanya, played by Tiffany Haddish, is released from prison and comes to live with her. When she finds out her sister is in a relationship with someone she's never met, that's when she goes on the hunt to see WHO could be catfishing her.
On the carpet, Tyler talked about how he has helped with diversyfying Hollywood even before it became "cool" to do so.
"Right now I find myself holding the doors open for so many people. And a lot of people want to ignore this, but I was out there on the forefront of fighting for diversity before it was 'cool' to be diverse, before it was 'cool' to hire black people," he told THR. "I was hiring all these people that have names now, so I'm really, really excited about that. Whether Hollywood wants to acknowledge it or not, that is my contribution so far and I'll be able to point to that to my son and anybody else that works for me."
After tearing up the box office with Kevin Hart in Night School, Tiffany Haddish is ready to do it again, reuninting with Tyler Perry after working on If Loving You Is Wrong.
On the carpet, the Hollywood IT girl rocked a color blocked Peter Pilotto jumpsuit. When asked how working with Tyler this time around, TIff said, "I was one of the leads in the project, that's what was different this time around," Tiff spilled to THR. "And I was getting paid more money!" Ha!
Fall is here and Tika Sumpter and certainly bringing the Harvest feels. The YBF mom hit the carpet alongside her man/daughter's father/actor Nicholas James in an orange strapless Zac Posen gown.
"He [Tyler Perry] let loose, he had a good time, and we were free in our characters — not that we weren't before — but we could have a little bit more fun and say more ad-libs than we would've," Tika told THR. It's such a layered piece that he wrote. I'm so excited to be in his first R-rated comedy, and then with Tiffany [Haddish], Whoopi [Goldberg] and so many others, it's exciting."
Amber Riley, who stars in the film, made her way on the carpet, serving and slaying our lives in a blush Rue 107 dress.
"Power" star Omari Hardwick, who stars in the movie, made his way on the carpet and stopped to pose it up with his co-star 50 Cent. Well, former co-star since Fif's character has been killed off the show. He's still executive producer though.
Omari brought his wife Jennifer Pfautch along as his date.
Mehcad Brooks had his girlfriend Frida Kardeskog on his arm to check out his new film.
EGOT Whoopi Goldberg is featured in the film, so she came out to celebrate the movie's NYC premiere.
"Orange Is The Black" star Danielle Brooks has a new 'do and she stepped out to show it off. Werk.
When actors show support! Michael K. Williams and Malik Yoba were in the mix to peep the melanin-filled movie.
"CBS This Morning" anchor/Oprah's bestie Gayle King came out to get her laugh on.
In these NYC streets...

Nobody's Fool hits theaters this Friday, November 2nd.
1. Tyler Perry is gearing up to retire his most famous character, Madea. "It’s time for me to kill that old b*tch. I’m tired!” STORY
A documentary about Prince is in the works which will be helmed by the oh, so talented Ava DuVernay. Get the deets, plus details on the "Heathers" remake having episodes pulled due to violence across the nation inside...
When it comes to making documentaries, Ava DuVernay knows exactly what it takes to create a compelling body of work that'll keep you captivated every moment. She schooled us all in her 13th documentary and now, she's gearing up for an inside look at a musical icon.
Ava DuVernay will be giving us the Prince documentary we all need that will be brought to our television screens via Netflix.
“Prince was a genius and a joy and a jolt to the senses,” the Oscar-nominated filmmaker told Deadline .“He was like no other. He shattered every preconceived notion, smashed every boundary, shared everything in his heart through his music. The only way I know how to make this film is with love. And with great care. I’m honored to do so and grateful for the opportunity entrusted to me by the estate.”
Rest assured she'll do the Purple One justice and his estate will be proud. Prince's estate personally sought out Ava to collaborate on the film. Before he passed in April 2016, Prince reached out to the SELMA director directly to talk about working together, according to Deadline.
The site reports:
The untitled docu started discretely early this year. That’s almost exactly two years after Prince’s sudden decline and soon afterward death on the way back from a solo show in Atlanta in 2016.
As part of the development of the film, the estate has granted the ARRAY founder full access to the vast treasure trove of archives recordings and perhaps most immediately important to Prince’s global fanbase, the unreleased material by the prolific musician. The early stages of the project have already seen DuVernay, editor Spencer Averick and other members of her core production team visit Prince’s Paisley Park home and studios repeatedly over the past several months.
We're SO here for this.

The "Heathers" TV series remake (a TV adaptation of the 1988 movie) is having major issues airing episodes due to violence that keeps happening on our home turf. The TV show hasn't been able to air episodes due to constant mass shootings in the U.S. And this is the third time "Heathers," starring Jasmine Mathews, has been stopped from airing due to the violence.
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter Paramount Network decided to pull two episodes that were scheduled to air Sunday, following the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh that left 11 dead. According to the site, the episodes featured a storyline involving students at the school's central high school undergoing active shooter training.
More details below:
Monday's finale, which has been edited to remove sensitive storylines including the school being blown up, will also air as scheduled. Saturday's episodes are available to watch via VOD and the Paramount app and website.
The TV adaptation was first scheduled to premiere in March 2018, but it got delayed at the Parkland, FL shooting that left 17 people dead. Before getting an official new air date, the Sante Fe high school shooting happened in May, which left 10 people dead, so it got pushed back again.
Sounds like they just need to scrap the dark satire altogether because airing episodes about school shootings and things could be triggers for some, especially mass shooting survivors, their families and friends.

Trump tried it and Pharrell Williams said nah, bruh. Deets on Skateboard P launching a cease and desist letter to No. 45 over his "Happy" track inside...
At this point, nothing Trump does shocks us anymore.
So when he walked out to Pharrell Williams' "Happy" track at the most inappropriate time, we def weren't surprised.
On Saturday (October 27th), the super wreckless Cheeto hosted one of his political rallies in Illinois. Ehen he walked out to take center stage, he had the audacity to play Pharrell Williams' "Happy" track...on the SAME day as a mass shooting went down at a Pittsburgh synagogue. 11 people were reportedly killed at the Tree of Life Synagogue after terrorist suspect Robert Bowers walked into the establishment, shooting and reportedly screaming "All Jews must die!"
Word got back to P and he's shutting ish down. He had his attorney, Howard E. King, issue a cease-and-desist letter to Trump letting him know how insensitive it was to play the track on the same day as a tragedy AND to let him he was never given permission to use his material in any form or fashion. Periodt (no typo).
“On the day of the mass murder of 11 human beings at the hands of a deranged ‘nationalist,’ you played his song ‘Happy’ to a crowd at a political event in Indiana,” Pharrell's attorney wrote in the letter. “There was nothing ‘happy’ about the tragedy inflicted upon our country on Saturday and no permission was granted for your use of this song for this purpose.”
“Pharrell has not, and will not, grant you permission to publicly perform or otherwise broadcast or disseminate any of his music,” King wrote. “The use of ‘Happy’ without permission constitutes copyright infringement.”
Where is the lie?
Oh, and get this...
Trump reportedly joked during the event that he considered canceling the rally because he was "having a bad hair day." UGH. He makes our blood boil AND itch.
The youngings are out here doing the most. Get the latest on YouTube star Chris Sails (Queen Naija's ex-husband) getting arrested for allegedly assaulting "My Wife & Kids" star Parker McKenna, plus see Emily B's daughter Taina Williams parlaying in the studio with rapper G Herbo inside....
YouTube star Chris Sails has found himself in a world of trouble.
The famous YouTuber - who is the ex-husband of YouTuber/singer Queen Naija - has reportedly been released from jail again after posting a $40,000 bail. He was thrown BACK in jail after his bond was revoked. This is the 2nd time he has been released from jail this week. Bruh.
So, why is he in and out of lock up?
He allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend/"My Wife & Kids" star Parker McKenna that left bruises on her face. Pictures of her injuries leaked last month. He also allegedly impersonated a police officer during the altercation.
The Blast has all the details surrounding this sh*tstorm:
Sails was originally arrested on October 25 for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, actress Parker McKenna, over an incident that went down in September in Houston.
He was released on Saturday and denied the allegations of assault.
Sails was ordered to appear in court on Monday morning where a judge remanded him back into custody because his bond was revoked in a separate pending criminal case over allegations he impersonated a police officer.
Last month, Chris and Parker got into a physical altercation that went totally left and it resulted in Chris being thrown behind bars. The report continues:
In the criminal docs relating to the assault arrest, Chris Sails was accused of third-degree felony assault by police after they responded to a call at the apartment the ex-couple shared. Police noted that Posey told them Sails became enraged when he noticed a message from another man on her Instagram.
McKenna says Sails allegedly began slapping her with an open hand, striking her in her torso and other body parts. She claims he repeatedly struck her, knocking her to the floor, which left her with golf ball sized bruises.
She accused Sails of punching her in the face with a closed fist, causing a black eye. Sails allegedly placed his hands around her neck and applied pressure, which resulted in her being unable to breathe.
McKenna told police she fought back, fearing he was going to kill her.
Police note that during the alleged strangulation, he repeatedly slammed the back of her head against concrete. She pleaded with cops for an emergency protective order.
According to court docs, the judge granted a restraining order for Parker McKenna prohibiting Chris Sails from communicating with her or coming within 200 feet.
Sails is scheduled to be back in court in December.
Sheesh! It may or may not be a Merry Christmas for him.
Chris and Parker began dating after he divorced the now pregnant Queen Naija (above) in April 2018 following a very public cheating scandal. They have one son together.
In other young folks' news...
Earlier this month, rumors were swirling that Emily B's daughter/Fabolous' step-daughter Taina Williams was rapper G Herbo's "side chick." The Chicago rapper was caught on FaceTime with Taina right around the time his son's mother Ariana Fletcher went on social media to announce she and Herbo were done done.
Taina hasn't addressed their "situationship," but we hear G Herbo was denying it to no end. Yet and still, it seems some type of romance could be blossoming. Herbo and a chick who looks VERY much like Taina were spotted in the studio together this week and they appear to be more than friends. In the clip above, Herbo is seen rubbing on Taina's leg as she scrolls on her cellphone. Peep the clip above.
Mmmhmmm...we're watching these two.

These two have been joined at the hip, following Amber's breakup from NBA star Monté Morris.

Tamar Braxton just nabbed her own spin-off show about life after her divorce from Vince Herbert. Oh, and she's still taping for "Braxton Family Values." Get those deets, plus deets on Keesha Sharp starring and producing an Eartha Kitt biopic inside...
Tamar Braxton isn't leaving reality television any time soon.
The 41-year-old singer revealed she has nabbed another spin-off, sans her ex-husband Vince Herbert. This time, the cameras will be following her on what life is looking like after separating from Vince.
Tamar, who's currently starring in Snoop Dogg's "Redemption of a Dog," revealed the spin-off news during a recent radio interview. And she also confirmed she's still taping for "Braxton Family Values" even after all the drama with Iyanala Vanzant and her sisters. We know y'all remember when she said she was DONE with the show.
"Well, I’m definitely still shooting The Braxtons and I have another spin-off show," she said. "It’s not with Vince this time. It’s Tamar and my life now, where I am now. And a lot of other great things. And maybe some music, who knows?"
We wonder if her new Nigerian BAE will be starring on the show. Tay Tay's first spin-off, "Tamar & Vince," premiered on WEtv in 2012 and aired for 5 seasons.
By the way, Tamar recently requested the judge to sign off on their divorce since Vince won't respond.
In movie news....
"Lethal Weapon" star Keesha Sharp is gearing up to star and produce in a biopic about the late Eartha Kitt.
The Marshall actress and her husband, Brad Sharp, are teaming up to develop and produce the project as a feature film after acquiring the rights to John Williams’ 2013 biography "America’s Mistress: The Life and Times of Eartha Kitt." Keesha will play Eartha Kitt, who's best known for playing Catwoman on ABC's "Batman" series in the 1960s. Spot on! She actually favors Eartha.
“Eartha Kitt was a force in the entertainment industry and an icon who opened doors for so many women, especially women of color during a time when it was not popular in America,” Keesha told Deadline. “Although I may have been compared to her in the past, I am passionate about bringing her story to life because everyone needs to know how incredible she was!"
Born Eartha Mae Keith in 1927, Kitt, who died of colon cancer in 2008 at age 81, appeared in films including Anna Lucasta, Boomerang with Eddie Murphy, Harriet the Spy, and Holes which starred a young Shia LaBeouf. Her TV credits are just as extensive, including playing Catwoman on Batman opposite Adam West. She also lent her voice in Disney’s animated feature The Emperor’s New Groove and the TV series spinoff The Emperor’s New School, the latter of which earned her two Daytime Emmy awards.
Kitt’s career took a temporary detour in the late 1960s and early 1970s after she made anti-Vietnam War statements, which led to her being effectively blacklisted. She made a comeback with her performance in the 1978 production of the Broadway musical Timbuktu!, earning two Tony nominations.

Gayle King is a vet in the media game and she's getting her flowers while she's still here. Go inside to see her bestie Oprah honor her during her induction into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame, plus see Loni Love celebrate with her Delta Sigma Theta sorority sisters inside...
Gayle King has put in the work over the years (over 40 if we're talking numbers), and now she's getting the honor and recognition she deserves.
The "CBS This Morning" co-host was honored with an induction to the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame that went down at the Ziegfield Ballroom in NYC.
To make the moment even sweeter, Gayle was honored by her longtime friend/fellow journalist Oprah Winfrey. Oh course, Lady O was there! She had to show support for one of her bestie's biggest nights.
"She [Gayle] feels and she loves and she lives strong," Lady O gushed about Gayle while honoring her during the ceremony. "She models niceness every day, whether it's creating a special appreciation day for the single mother receptionist at work... or teaching her mostly white older crew at CBS to recite black poetry during Black History Month," she continued. "They're all learning Maya Angelou's "Still I Rise."
While she does her thing on CBS This Morning, she still helps Oprah with her O magazine:
"She moves through life in the key of happiness but I think her greatest virtue actually is being happy for other people's success," Lady O said. "Throughout my career she's been my greatest cheerleader and happy for any and everything that has ever come my way."
Peep a clip below:
Here's how Gayle got into the broadcasting game:
King got her start in television at WDAF-TV in Kansas City, Missouri. She later moved on to CBS affiliate WFSB-TV in Hartford, Connecticut, where she reported for 18 years and even hosted her own syndicated daytime program. King has also worked at WJZ-TV in Baltimore and WTOP-TV in Washington, D.C.
Here's what Gayle said when she hit the stage:
"This really is one of those nights when I really wish my mom and dad were here to see me because they wouldn't believe it," King said. "I can't even believe that I'm actually standing here."
"We are here for the people, and that is a truth that I believe with everything that I know. So it's times like this I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be up here in this room with all of you," she said. "I can't tell you what it means to me when you can't help but remember the men and women of the press who knew it too and got the story told, even when they understood that it could cost them their lives. So I thank you all for thinking me worthy."
She's definitely an inspiration to young, black girls looking to get into broadcasting and media.

Last night, Gayle was inducted into the Broadcast Hall of Fame for her 40 years of contribution to television. I’ve never experienced someone so dedicated to her craft like GK. She reads every book (even if the author should’ve never gotten a publishing deal about recycling in the first place), listens to every album (and has me translating Andrea Bocelli’s Italian lyrics so she can “sing” it to him), and attends every Broadway showing (even if it’s a 90-minute one man show starring a Caucasian man) to prep for @cbsthismorning or @oprahmagazine—all with three hours of sleep, a smile on her face, and the strength of a thousand suns. And she cares so deeply about your life. You’re married? She knows your wedding song. Have kids? She’ll ask you about all 7 of them. Need advice? She’ll give it to you. And boy do people turn to her for it. Why? Because whenever you need advice, your heart tells you the passionate thing to do, your mind tells you the smart thing to do, but Gayle Lenethia King somehow intertwines both and shows you the right thing to do. Now that sounds like a Hall of Famer to me
Speaking of FAB chicks...
"The Real" co-host Loni Love recently celebrated 30 years as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., so she invited her line sisters to join her on the daytime talk show to celebrate! Nice!
The Prairie View A&M University grad had fun with her sorors before and after the show. They celebrated 30 years of greekdom with cake (we want a piece!), good laughs and strolling down memory lane:

Alex Rodriguez's ex-wife is speaking out after the former MLB player requested to have his child/spousal support decreased. She claims he asked her not to work. Get those deets, plus new details in the Gloria Govan vs. Matt Barnes case inside...
Alex Rodriguez has been trying to get his spousal/child support lowered since he's coughing up hella cash a month. And he claims his salary has gone down 90% since he retired from the Yankees. Right now, he pays $115,000/month in spousal and child support. The former MLB player called his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis out for not working and now she's responding.
A-Rod's ex-wife claims she doesn't work because Alex didn't want her to. She claims he wanted her to be a stay-at-home to take care of their kids instead of putting her master's degree in psychology to work.
Cynthia thinks the former MLB superstar is way off base with his claims, telling TMZ, "To ensure that our daughters had a stable upbringing, and given his extensive traveling, Alex requested that I discontinue working and make parenting my primary focus."
Our sources say Alex is pissed because he claims Cynthia now has millions in the bank, 3 homes and multiple cars. With his income reduced by 90 percent, due to retirement, A-Rod doesn't think he should have to bankroll Cynthia any longer.
In the statement, provided by her attorney, Maurice Kutner, Cynthia throws some shade at A-Rod too, telling us ... "I find it terribly disheartening, shocking and disappointing that Alex has resorted to reporting falsehoods. Why he seeks sympathy from the press and public baffles me."
Alex and his ex-Cynthia have two daughters, 13-year-old Natasha, and 10-year-old Ella. He has been paying $115,000/month since they divorced in 2008 and he's tired of it. He's tired of supporting Cynthia, her new husband and their baby together. Sources say A-Rod's estimated net worth is $300 million, after earning an estimated $480 million over his 22-year career in Major League Baseball.
A-Rod's current girlfriend Jennifer Lopez is out here defying odds like no other. She covers InStyle magazine's December issue. And she's slaying it, per usual. Lawdt!
Inside, she revealed who's a better partner: A-Rod or Ben Affleck. She spilled dating was "actually worse" back then.
And she also has advice on how to reinvent yourself. She is the expert, afterall:
"It was just crazy. Now at least I can show you who I am a little bit. Back then you just believed anything you read on the cover of a tabloid," she tells the magazine. "Many times it wasn't true, or it was like a third of the truth."
"Now people get to see that this guy [A-Rod] they thought was this hard-nosed athlete is, like, a goofy dad who loves his kids and celebrates his girlfriend," she says. Lopez also noticed a shift in how she's perceived after she became an American Idol judge in 2010. "That show was live; everything was in the moment, not edited. So, finally people got to see that I was actually a person, someone with a heart. I got to speak for myself for the first time, and that changed everything."
"When we met, we'd both already done a lot of work on ourselves. Everybody has flaws, and the people I want in my life are the people who recognize that and are willing to work on those flaws," she says. "It's super-important: someone who's willing to look at themselves and say, 'OK, I'm not great here' or 'I could do better there.'"
Interesting. It seems people are always complaining about how social media causes issues in people's relationships, yet it's seemingly helping JLo and A-Rod.
In other news....
Things are looking on the up and up for Gloria Govan following an incident with her ex-Matt Barnes outside of their sons' school.
The L.A. County D.A. rejected criminal charges against the former reality show star after she was arrested on a felony child endangerment charge. Apparently, she wasn't just going off on Matt in front of their kids for nothing. She claims it was actually HER weekend and not his.
Gloria was arrested the Friday before Labor Day after Matt claimed she put the lives of their twin boys at risk by allegedly flying into a rage in her car, blocking Matt and the kids from driving away from their school.
Sources connected with Gloria called BS on Matt's claim he had custody of the kids that weekend. Gloria says she even asked her lawyer well in advance to notify Matt's attorney Labor Day weekend was hers.
On the day in question ... her rep told the D.A. Gloria went to the school to pick up the boys, but Matt was already there. She says the kids were in her car when Matt ordered the boys to get in his car ... she believed in violation of the custody order. Gloria says she blocked his car, called 911 and "calmly" waited for cops.
Gloria denied she drove crazy to get at Matt's car and ultimately the D.A. said there was insufficient evidence to move forward.
Matt subsequently got a restraining order, keeping Gloria 100 yards from the kids. She's only allowed to see the boys once a week with a monitor present.
Looks like they'll need to write out who gets the kids on which weekends for the entire year so there aren't any more misunderstandings.
Speaking of their altercation, the deputy who showed up on the scene during their misunderstanding claims Gloria asked him not to shoot her because "she's black."
The Blast reports:
The deputy said when he was called to the scene after the custody dispute between Barnes and Govan, the reality star was extremely uncooperative. In open court, the deputy testified that Govan said, “Don’t you shoot me because I’m black,” and kept repeating that she “did not want to get hurt because she’s black.”
The deputy explained that he gathered statements from Barnes and other witnesses at the scene, but when he tried speaking with Govan, she was “very, very angry” and that she made it clear to him “she doesn’t talk to pigs.”
In the end, because she refused to even provide her name to the deputy, she was taken to the station and later arrested.
