Rapper Kendrick Lamar celebrated the #2 debut of his album, good kid, m.A.A.d city by releasing a new track called “The Jig Is Up (Dump’n).”  Listen to it inside and find out how much a deluxe copy of Rihanna's Unapologetic will cost.

Kendrick Lamar's debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, lands in the #2 spot on Billboard's Top 200 this week, selling an estimated 242,122 in its first week.  The projected sales make Kendrick's debut the fastest selling rap album of the year (in its first week).  

Kendrick excitedly tweeted the news saying, 

To show appeciation for his fan's support, he released a new song, produced by J. Cole, called “The Jig Is Up (Dump’n).”

It looks like pop icon Beyonce is working on a musical project with Miguel as he posted a pic with the Queen Bee saying, "woah. creating for Virgo's all weekend."

Kerry Washington chatted it up with Chelsea Handler.  Kerry, who first appeared on Chelsea's show four years ago, talked about the success of "Scandal" and revealed that the show had been picked up for nine new episodes.  She also talked about crisis manager Judy Smith, on whom her character is based. 

She then talked about her political activism and her support for President Barack Obama.  Congrats to Kerry on "Scandal" getting picked up for the full season!

While Hurricane Sandy's devastating waters are keeping Kanye's penthouse in Soho, NYC without power, Mr. West jetted down to Miami to be with his girlfriend Kim Kardashian today.

It's an eery coincidence that the ever eclectic child of Hollywood Royalty--Willow Smith--was born on Halloween.  it explains so much.  Celebrate Willow's big 12th birthday inside...

She already has several movies under her belt, a few chart topping singles, almost 3 million Twitter followers and millions of Instagram followers.  And she's only 12.  What could make a 12-year-old that interesting?  We don't know--but having parents like Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith surely does help.

Willow's known for being her own chick, changing her hair color and style every hour it seems, and rocking the most unique style we've ever seen on a pre-teen.  And we hope, today, she has even more fun with life than usual.

Next up for the triple threat?  She's starring in the upcoming Annie remake. And helping her equally talented brother, Jaden, promote his upcoming music projects.

Last night, Q Parker celebrated the release of The MANual at Aurum in Atlanta.

Q, who hopes the disc will foster better communication among couples, posed with his wife Sharlinda at the party.  Sharlinda, may be appearing on the STYLE Network's upcoming "Big Rich Atlanta" series (a spinoff of "Big Rich Texas") as a friend posted a "congrats" on her Facebook timeline saying, "Congrats on your new album Q. And congrats on Big Rich Atlanta Sharlinda!" 

Sharlinda, who posed with daughter Kahdijiha Rowe and her twin sister Sabrina, has not confirmed her casting (and neither has STYLE) but there are already reports about Kahdijiha getting into a fight with a "cast member" who has quit the show because of the brawl.  And since the "Big Rich" series usually pairs mother and daughters, it would seem like Sharlinda is involved as well. 
 

Life coach and wellness expert AJ Johnson came out to support Q.

Jada Pinkett Smith recently raised $2Million for President Obama while joking that the Secret Service helped her find a few lost items at home.  Watch her interview inside and find out how Hurricane Sandy is affecting Amar'e Stoudemire, the big Brooklyn Nets vs. NY Knicks game and others in the NJ/NY area.

Jada Pinkett Smith proved that women have the power during her stop through "The Moms Afternoon Tea Conversation About How To Stop Human Trafficking" yesterday.  While lending her name to the fight against human trafficking, Jada also talked about lending her name and home to the President Obama campaign last week.

Jada hosted a fundraiser at her mega mansion in Malibu with First Lady Michelle Obama in attendance and raised over $2 Million dollars.  Jada said it was important for women to be involved in the political process and her fundraiser proved that women could also pull in big donors.

She jokingly revealed that after the Secret Services combed through every corner of her home (prior to FLOTUS arrival) the came across items that she thought she had lost!

The baller's car was flooded out during the storm when flood water swept through his parking garage.  He said, " My truck #Sandy No Power, No Water" Damn!

Rapper Lil' Wayne has been ordered to stay out of the friendly skies following his two health scares.  Get the deets inside and find out about 50 Cent disbanding The Money Team (TMT) and see Rita Ora on "The Late Show."

As Lil' Wayne recovers at his mom's home, he's been grounded by his doctors and ordered to stay out of airplanes.  We told you earlier about Weezy's two health scares while in the air, so now he's only going to be traveling by bus.

Sources close to him say he's been to the doctor twice since getting out of the hospital and has nurses who check on him regularly.

Though he's still recovering, his reps say he plans to take a luxury bus to his home in Miami where he will continue to get rest and get better.

Rita Ora, who just went public with her relationship with Rob Kardashian, performed her hit track "R.I.P" on "The Late Show with David Letterman" last night. The track appears on her debut, ORA. She later tweeted, "letterman was awsoooome!"

50 Cent has been dropping a few bombshells on Twitter lately, but unlike the old days, his barbs aren't aimed at fellow rappers.  

He's revealed that TMT (The Money Team) has broken up and ironicallly....money was one of the reasons for the split.  And now that TMT is no longer....he's discounting TMT merchandise.  And to add salt to the wound, he's selling some of his personal TMT items for a dollar.  WOMP.

So what led to this?  Well for starters, 50 is getting into the boxing game, as a promoter, and working with Manny Pacquiao. This business relationship couldn't have done much for his bromance with Floyd Mayweather (especially since Manny is his chief rival and there are rumors Floyd and 50 aren't getting along).  Sigh......

We wonder if 50 is working with Manny strictly to make money or is this to get under Floyd's skin?  Kowing Fif....it's a little of both.

They weren't with them shootin' in the gym....but they were surely keeping their bodies & minds right in bed after the gym.  That's why Miami Heat NBA champs LeBron James, Dwyane Wade & Chris Bosh created duplicate NBA championship rings for their leading ladies.  And it took no time for the crew to put their pics on blast.

At Tuesday night's "Ring Ceremony" where all of the Miami Heat players got their NBA championship rings, prior to their Eastern Conference opener against the Celtics at American Airlines Arena, the players weren't the only ones getting dripped in diamonds. 

The Big 3 (and likely other players) created duplicate championship rings for their ladies.  LeBron gave a matching black & diamond ring to fiancee Savannah Brinson, Dwyane Wade copped one for girlfriend Gabrielle Union, and Chris Bosh handed one over to wife Adrienne.

By the way, many professional sports champs create some type of championship memorabilia for their significant others, in the forms of charms, rings, necklaces, more.

The ladies looked fab for the event and afterparty as well:

Savannah's been on a bridal bootcamp style workout plan and it's clearly paying off.  She looks great!

She and LeBron showed off their matching championship rings.  Loving her nails.

Gabby & Dwyane snapped a cute intimate pic showing off their matching rings.  By the way, Gabby recently told JustTheFab.com that she's very content with simply being D-Wade's girlfriend for now.  No plans for marriage.  She said:

we like each other a lot and we both failed miserably the last time either one of us got married. So, I think we’re doing it slow, you know what I mean? I think when you rush in, then people have crap to say. If you go too slow, people still have stuff to say, so, I think we have to just take it at the pace that’s great for us. But, who knows? I’m open to everything, but right now I just like saying “my boyfriend, my boyfriend, my boyfriend D Wade’. And then maybe later, provided my eggs aren’t dust, we’ll see what I can (coughs) cough out.

Pop star Rihanna was crowned the Queen of the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval yesterday during a ceremony and Halloween bash attended by Chris Brown and Evelyn Lozada.  See the celebs in their costumes and watch Rihanna's acceptance speech inside.

Last night, pop star Rihanna was named Queen of the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval by the City of West Hollywood.  During her acceptance speech, she said,  "Thank you so much.  I feel really special.  I do feel like a queen right now.  This means a lot.  I'm not from this city so it's big deal to be honored by the Gay and Lesbian community.  I will make you guys proud.  I'm very excited to be welcomed and accepted."

She was presented the honor by West Hollywood Councilmembers John J. Duran and John Heilman, West Hollywood Mayor Pro Tempore Abbe Land, West Hollywood Mayor Jeffrey Prang and West Hollywood Councilmember John D'Amico at Greystone Manor Supperclub.

The good news couldn't have come at a better time as Rihanna was dealt a crushing blow overseas with the cancellation of her UK show "Styled To Rock" due to poor ratings.

In the meantime, the success of her "Diamonds" single and the release of Unapologetic (Nov. 19th) should keep a smile on her face. 

After the ceremony....

Rihanna got a surprise visit from her mother Monica Braithwaite.

Awww a "proud parent" moment. 

And after the ceremony......

Rihanna donned a green wedding-like dress and veil and partied it up with "BBW" star Evelyn Lozada and her daughter Shaniece and Shaniece's new boobs at the Halloween bash thrown in her honor at Greystone Manor.

Evelyn dressed as a 2012 version of “Ariel” from ‘The Little Mermaid’ in a gown designed by Hayden Williams.

But the most shocking costume of all belonged to Chris Brown who dressed as an Arab man with ammunition and thawb. Earlier, he wore a long fake beard which he removed inside the party.

He was quickly greeted by female admirers, including one dressed as a ring master.

At the end of the evening, Rihanna was seen leaving the party in her costume (and her bodyguards where dressed up too).

As he preps for the release of LUDAVERSAL, Ludacris is back with an uptempo dance track featuring Usher & David Guetta called “Rest Of My Life.” Produced by David, the track has that "universal club" feel that has sent so many of David other songs to the tops of the charts.  Luda surely has a hit on his hands. The song will appear on LUDAVERSAL which is expected in early 2013. Meanwhile, “Rest Of My Life” is available on iTunes Friday, November 2nd.

Hip Hop tastemaker Swizz Beatz has released the trailer for his "Everyday Birthday" video featuring Chris Brown and Ludacris.  Described as the first in a series of "memorable moments," the video was shot by Taj TPK and filmed over a 3-day period in Cannes with scenes from Hotel Martinez, Club Palais and Gotha Club.  The fellas tweeted plenty of photos from the shoot back in July.

When asked about the song, which he produced with Jukebox, Swizz said, "I was inspired to do a song that people can listen to every day and
celebrate life, just have fun. When you wake up, you’re born again so every day is your birthday!!"

The video for “Everyday Birthday” will premiere November 4th on MTV and be available on iTunes on November 6th.

 In the November 2012 issue of The Hollywood Reporter, veteran actor Denzel Washington reflects on his entry into Hollywood in 1982 with "St. Elsewhere" and reveals how he's remained relevant for over 30 years.  And with his film Flight already getting critical acclaim, there indeed more from Denzy to come.  Here are the highlights:

On not giving into "Hollywood vices" during his career:

In a 1986 article with Essence, he said, “I made a commitment to completely cut out drinking and anything that might hamper me from getting my mind and body together. And the floodgates of goodness have opened upon me — spiritually and financially.” He's amended that statement recent to say he only semi-given up drinking.

On spirituality in his life:

Denzel says he reads the Bible daily and is currently reading the Psalms. He enjoys Psalm 56, which contains the line: “Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; the fighting daily oppresseth me.”

On Hollywood's and roles for Black women:

He says Hollywood is much tougher for black women than black men. “And the darker the woman, definitely. But then it’s all relative: The 40-year-old whatever-color woman says, ‘Well, you know, the 30-year-old is getting all the jobs.’”

On supporting President Obama

He gave the Obama campaign $2,300 four years ago and he says he was invited to play basketball with the President but didn’t because “my knees are shot.”

On letting his mother call the shots:

He says he brought in his mother, Lennis, to negotiate a deal with Harvey Weinstein when they couldn’t come to terms for Denzel’s directing debut, Antwone Fisher. He said his mother did the deal with Weinstein’s.

On gay marriage:

“I have my own beliefs, and I keep them to myself.”

On Tony Scott, who had directed five Washington films,  committing suicide Aug. 19.

“I was shocked by his death. I’m still shocked. If you had given me a list of 25 people, I don’t think I’d have picked him. You don’t know. You just don’t know. You don’t know what’s inside a man’s head.”

Legendary hip hop producer turned movie autuer RZA appears in the November issue of GQ where he talks about his progression from music to movies and the making of The Man With The Iron Fists, which he created and also produced the soundtrack for.  He also has a way with words when talking about his sexcapades with groupies.  Here are the highlights:

 

On turning to Quentin Tarantino in order to execute his vision for The Man With The Iron Fists:

“I knew the vision [for Iron Fists] was in my head. I knew I could do it. But I knew I had to learn how to do
it. I went to a proper teacher, and he [Quentin Tarantino] accepted me as a student.”

On his time with the Wu-Tang Clan:

“I just had to get out the cage, kid. Had to get out the cage. And I enjoyed that shit, man. I had a lot of fun. For two years straight, I had super fun. I had all kind of pu**ies, spent millions of dollars for hundreds of bitches, you know what I mean? I really ran wild and had five girlfriends, probably. Anything. I’d f*ck anything. On the Wu-Tang Clan’s rule of not permitting girls in the studio:

Usher surprised his son Naviyd at school by dressing up as a colorful pelican (likely the star of Rio) and he brought Grandma Patton along.  Naviyd looked surprised...but scared as all get out.

Ludacris and his girl Eudoxie ixnayed the couples' theme for costumes, but still kept it fun:

As a follow up to her A & B side singles, "Losing You" & "Sleep In The Park,"  Solange will be dropping her next single "True" on November 27th.

The YBF chick wrote the track with Devyn Hines, who she's posing with in the above pic, to promote the new single.  The shot was taken from the same vintage Clueless-style shoot from her "Losing You" project.

Solo posted the promo pic on her blog, as well as two images whose words can only be read when you adjust your computer screen's angle's to catch the appropriate amount of light:

This black image has the words to the song written over it.

This red image has the details about the track and its release date.  The song was also produced by the twosome, and will be out Nov. 27th digitally on Terrible Records. 

And if you were concerned about how the Brooklyn-based babe made out in the Sandy Superstorm...she and her son Julez have been out of the country in Mexico.  And she tweeted that they will be extending their vacay:

Guess me and Julez will be in Mexico a lot longer than planned....#homeawayfromhome....Seriously worried for my peeps tho.

1.  Billionaire NYC Mayor Bloomberg has given his official endorsement to President Obama.  In 2008, he didn't endorse either candidate.  But he has decided that after this Sandy fiasco, a candidate who will put climate change as a priority needs to be in office.  STORY

Her movie Cloud Atlas may not have done too well here in the states, but Halle Berry is surely keeping her promo tour going.  And chick is looking fabulous.

46-year-old Halle Berry hit the Russian premiere of Cloud Atlas Thursday night.  She rocked a chevron patterned bodice sheer paneled black leather dress by Catherine Malandrino.  An chick is looking hotter than EVER.

Halle told Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview about how playing 6 very different characters in the movie (like the older Korean man Dr. Orvid) required makeup & styling that made her unrecognizable.  Even to her daughter Nahla:

'The real test was that my daughter saw all of my costumes, and loved them, but one day, when I came up to her as Dr Ovid, she looked at the guy, and thought he was probably weird, because of his eye thing,' she said.

'Then when I said, "Hi sweetheart," she had an out of body experience.

'I swear I saw her little spirit leave her body and go to Cleveland. She’s still not over it. It was so terrifying for her, to hear my voice coming out of that man.'

Young Juve, the son of rapper Juvenile, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a couple outside of a Halloween party in Orlando, FL on Wednesday.  Get details about the altercation and watch fight footage inside...

Young Juve, the son of rapper Juvenile, was busted in Orlando, FL on Halloween for allegedly assaulting a couple leaving a party.  

Footage from the altercation has surfaced online and shows Young Juve viciously punching a female who is seen lying on the ground. During the fight, Juvenile (in a black t-shirt) is seen trying to restrain his son and escorts him to a waiting SUV before driving off.

Young Juve says the fight broke out because his mother and sister had been disrespected by the couple (mainly the male).  He tweeted, 

Though the clip only shows him assaulting the female, it can be assumed from the tweets that he also hit the male.  He also tweeted that people will understand what happened once more fight videos are posted.  I guess that's how we're proving points now...waiting on videos of the fight.

Ironically, Juvenile had his own Florida brawl a few months ago in Miami outside of a club.  Sigh....maybe father and son need to stay out of the club and get out of Florida.

The family of Natina Reed is accusing the Gwinnett Police Dept. of dragging its feet in the investigation of her death. They also requested more infomation from the police saying they feel the police report tells them very little about Natina's death and they need it for closure.  The family said the story that Natina was living in a motel is not true, she was just there in between moving into a new home.   Story.

VH1 has cleared up the rumors about who was fired off their hit show "Basketball Wives LA." Find out the real deal inside and see Laura Govan and Bambi going at it on Twitter.....

Though VH1 initially stayed silent when rumors hit the web that four of its six stars had been fired from "BBW LA," the network has now spoken out to clear up the mess.

In a statement posted on their blog. VH1 said,

The time has come to set the record straight. We can officially tell you all that despite the widespread reports, none of them are true. There have been absolutely no casting decisions made regarding the next season of the show.

So does that mean all of the ladies will be back for season 3?  Gloria Govan isn't so sure about that.

She spoke to TMZ saying "BBW LA" producers were upset with her for not allowing cameras film her wedding to Matt Barnes and VH1's statement is just a ploy to get the "fired" ladies to show up at the reunion taping.  WOMP.

The situation does seem highly suspicious since VH1 took a very long time to clear up the rumors. And watch Gloria give here opinion on the situation yesterday below:

Laura Govan is feuding with Malaysia Pargo's friend Bambi on Twitter.  Both ladies exchanged nasty barbs online and seemed to makes threats toward each other.  Laura also threw a jab at Bambi saying she won't be invited to the reunion because she isn't a cast member.

But the nastiest jab of all was when Bambi called out Laura's fiancee Gilbert Arenas for being a cheater.

This chick STAYS talking about dudes buying her and er girls "presents" simply for "their company."  She was beefing with Brooke Bailey about the same thing regarding Brooke's man buying Bambi stuff as well. 

It will be interesting to see if the ladies play nice with each other during the reunion special (which tapes November 10th in L.A.).  Fighting and bullying wasn't a good look for the Miami cast, and it won't work out well for L.A. either.
