Last night was all about the ballers, however, a few celebs who aren't ballers showed up and showed out. Peep red carpet flicks from the 2018 NBA Awards inside...
The 2nd Annual NBA Awards went down inside Barker Hangar in Santan Monica last night to recognize the top NBA players, teams, coaches and executives for their accomplishments and performances from the 2017-2018 NBA season.
It was a huge night for Houston Rockets baller James Harden , looking debonair in Neil Barrett suit, as he was awarded the Most Valuable Player Award for the work he put in this season. He was up for the award last year, but he ended up losing to OKC Thunder baller Russell Westbrook. Well, this is his year he's the King of the NBA after beating Cleveland Cavaliers player LeBron James and New Orleans Pelicans player Anthony Davis.
Since he didn't win last year, it seems the Rockets guard decided against preparing speech this year just in case he didn't win. Maybe he should have at least made some notes because he was stumbling through his speech as he thanked everyone who helped him get to this point.
"Wow. All glory to God man. All glory to God. Wow," he said. It was as if the win was a total shock and he didn't know what exactly to say.
