Tristan Thompson has been radio silent on all social media accounts for the last two weeks. And we all know why. The Cleveland Cavaliers player was exposed in several videosof him cheating on his then pregnant fiancée Khloe Kardashianwith several different women.

They’ve since welcomed the baby (a girl named True Thompson). Khloe made the birth announcement on her Instagram account. However, Tristan hasn’t posted anything since the beginning of this month, which was around the time he got busted.

Well, he recently made his social media debut, and as expected, it didn’t go over well. After the Cavaliers beat the Pacers on Sunday night to advance to the 2nd round of NBA playoff games, Tristan hopped on Instagram to share his excitement.

Speaking of the playoffs...

Rumor has it, Tristan Thompson is still out here being a f*ck boi in these streets while his baby mother stays home to care for their daughter, True. According to In Touch Weekly, Khloe gave Tristan all of her home playoff box seat tickets and he supposedly gave them to his "side chick" Lani Blair.

Here's what a source tells the site about the ticket exchange:

"Khloé told him she isn’t going to any of his playoff games in Cleveland and gave him back his four box seat tickets," the insider explained. "So Tristan gave the tickets to his sidepiece Lani!" Um, seriously? Tristan was clearly pretty careless when it came to cheating on Khloé with Lani, and there were even hints on Lani's Instagram that something was going on, but this is a whole new level of disrespect. And guess what? Tristan doesn't give an eff.

"He’s crazy, crazy about Lani and isn’t trying to hide her," the source continued. "Lani’s been asking to come to his games to cheer him on for the longest time but Tristan always wanted to keep her in the background, until now. Khloé has no idea that Tristan did this and it seems like Tristan doesn’t care about her knowing either."

Hmm...do we believe it?

It feels like just a few days ago Sasha Obama was the 10-year-old kid living in the White House with her dad President Barack Obama, mom First Lady Michelle Obama, and her sister First Daughter Malia Obama.

Now, she’s out of the White House with a little more freedom to enjoy the things that teens enjoy.

While her big sister Malia gets her study on at Harvard (but is certainly no stranger to getting lit AF at a festival), the 16-year-old former First Daughter trekked it to the Broccoli City Festival in D.C. to party it up VIP status with her friends. And we noticed she is now loving being able to do fun stuff like color her hair. The blue streaked beauty was spotted vibing out to H.E.R.’s performance wearing a white crop top, high waisted jeans and 'The Last Lolita' shades from the Le Specs X Adam Selman collaboration.

“She looked as though she had no care in the world. She was in a big group and was partying to the music,” said photographer Dee Dwyer. “She was loose and having a good time.”

As she made her rounds at the festival, Sasha got the chance to meet Cardi B, her baby bump and her fiancé Offset backstage.

We usually see Malia out partying, but now that Sasha is getting older, we may start seeing her out more on the party scene. But we doubt her friends will leak pics that need to stay in the group thread. See more pics of Sasha having fun here.

In Bardi news...

The “Bartier Cardi” rapper hit the stage during the festival after announcing this was her last scheduled performance until she has the baby. However, she did pop up on stage and performed with Ozuna during the 2018 Latin Billboard Awards.

While performing, Cardi said ever since she announced she's pregnant, b*tches have been popping up left and right with new "beefs." "Everyday, b*tches got something to say. Wait till I drop this baby. What's good?," she said.

Speaking of BEEF, let's talk about this $10 million lawsuit her ex-manager filed against her.

We previously told you that Cardi’s former manager Shaft (real name Klenord Raphael) had filed a $10 million lawsuit against her for breach of contract. He claims he discovered her, nabbed her the “Love & Hip Hop” deal, AND he (and his team) supposedly wrote and produced her hit single, “Bodak Yellow.” He claims she sought him out in 2015 to help catapult her career from Instagram star to rap superstar.

Now, Cardi is responding via her attorney Paul LiCalsi, a partner at Robins Kaplan LLP, confirming she signed a 360 deal.

She explained to Page Six:

“After a full investigation of the facts, we will be responding to these allegations in detail in court. But even on its face, Shaft’s claim raises a huge question. For a hefty commission, a manager promises to carefully counsel and guide an artist in her or his career. In exchange, the law imposes a high fiduciary duty on the manager to always act in the artist’s best interest, not engage in conflicts of interest, not overreach, and not self-deal.”

LiCalsi suggests that Shaft signed on as Cardi B’s manager for a 20 percent commission, then signed her up through a different company in a “deal that takes 50 percent of her music royalties from Atlantic Records, 50 percent of her music copyrights, and 25 percent of her other earnings.” He asked, “How does that comport with his fiduciary duty as her manager?”

It was previously reported Cardi is accusing Shaft of stealing money from her by telling her she was being paid less than she actually was.

In Migos news...

Rapper Quavo has been charged with battery after a physical altercation with a hotel valet in Las Vegas.

TMZ reports:

Quavo got into a scuffle with a hotel valet this weekend in Vegas -- and we just found out the Migos member was slapped with a battery charge.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Quavo and his entourage rolled into the Encore Hotel & Casino with an envoy of SUVs early Saturday morning after performing in town earlier that night. They were told by a valet that they had to move their car because of an ambulance that was set to arrive.

We're told the valet's order pissed off Quavo, and he and 3 other guys got into a scuffle with the guy. Chaos ensued, and hotel security detained the men -- one of whom you see being hauled inside. Cops were eventually called ... but nobody was arrested. All 4 guys were cited and released -- Quavo included.

The rest of Migos and Cardi B were present, but weren't involved in the altercation.

Blac Chyna is NOT pregnant with her boyfriend YBN Almighty Jay’s baby…yet. More inside…

Rumor Control! Blac Chyna is not pregnant.

A rumor had been making its way around these Internet streets claiming the 29-year-old mom-of-two is knocked up with her 18-year-old boyfriend YBN Almighty Jay’s baby. However, that’s not the case. At least, not right now.

People in Chyna’s camp confirm to TMZ that she’s not currently pregnant, but she hasn’t totally ruled it out. Chy wants more kids in the future and apparently, she isn’t ruling out her current man as a future baby daddy.

Lordt.

And remember when YBN Almighty Jay let us all know that he and Chyna do NOT use condoms? In a previous interview he spilled:

“I’m all the way in raw. I don’t wear rubbers my n*gga. Who does that shi*? I wouldn’t f*ck a b*tch I wouldn’t want to get pregnant. If Chyna got pregnant, I would keep that sh*t.”

Ugh. So yeah, if she was pregnant it wouldn't be too far fetched of a rumor.

If they do decide to have a kid, it would be Chyna’s 3rd baby and 3rd baby daddy after sharing a son, King Cairo, with Tyga and a daughter, Dream Kardashian, with Rob Kardashian.

“Black Ink Crew: Chicago” just got a premiere date. Find out when the new season debuts, plus see Drake get involved in a shouting match with Cleveland Cavaliers baller Kendrick Perkins inside…

“Black Ink Crew: Chicago” fans get excited.

Season 4 of the hit reality series is about to premiere and the gang will be back for another round of shenanigans at 9 Mag and abroad.

Last season ended qyuite emotionally when Kat Tat decided she will no longer be working at Ryan’s 9 Mag studio. She got caught up in love triangle with Ryan and his baby mother Rachel. In the end, Ryan chose Rachel, so Kat decided to jump ship. And it doesn’t look like she’ll be returning this season while doing her own thing since her name was not included in the press release about the new season. Nor is she in the official season 4 promo poster.

However, everyone else is coming back.

Lordt. We can’t wait to see what happens between married couple Don and Ashley. Back in February (after the last season already wrapped up), Don hopped on Instagram to reveal …wait for it…he CHEATED AGAIN. Shocker? Nope. He has been doing this since the show aired and Ashley still married his behind and got knocked up again. After his public confession/apology, Ashley removed Don’s last name from her social media accounts and announced they were “separated.”

In the upcoming season, Don and Ashley are going to try to work things out...AGAIN.

As for the rest of the crew, this season we’ll see Ryan try and rebuild trust and morale amongst the crew, Van will be stepping up as a leader by opening a retail shop, Charmaine will juggle her radio career while managing the shop, Lily will be embracing the single life, Danielle is gearing up to trek down the aisle and Phor is unsure of his role at 9 Mag as she continues to focus on his music career. No word on Junior, who joined the cast last season.

We all know Drake is the captain of the Toronto Raptors fan club.  And he’s not afraid to challenge anybody who’s up against his hometown team.

Last night, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors went head-to-head for the first game in the 2nd round of the 2018 NBA playoffs. And the Raptors' ambassador was courtside looking like a whole snack. The Raptors were up the entire game up until overtime and that’s when ish really got intense.

Drizzy and Cavs center Kendrick Perkins got into shouting match courtside. From what we gather, the Young Money rapper apparently overheard Kendrick trash talking his former teammate Raptors baller Serge Ibaka

“I was f*ckin’ with Serge, my old teammate. I wasn’t talking to [Drake],” Perkins explained to ESPN after the game. “[I was] telling him, ‘We about to win this game,’ and Drake butted in talking sh*t to me. So I said something back to him. He said something slick, so I said something back: ‘Sit your a– down and watch the game.’ ”

We’ve got updates about the two black men who were wrongfully arrested inside Starbucks and Waffle House hero James Shaw Jr. Also, NFLer Eric Reid is following in Colin Kaepernick’s footsteps by filing a lawsuit against the NFL. Deets inside…

The two black men who were wrongfully arrested inside a Philadelphia Starbucks as they waited to conduct a real estate meeting have settled with the city. And we’re not mad at this one, but, we do have a few questions.

Instead of suing the city, Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson decided to settle for a $1 each, according to The Washington Post. Then, they asked for the city to fund $200,000 for a grant program for high school students aspiring to become entrepreneurs. The men wanted to join forces with the city “to make something positive come of this.”

“This was an incident that evoked a lot of pain in our city, pain that would’ve resurfaced over and over again in protracted litigation, which presents significant legal risks and high financial and emotional costs for everyone involved,” Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney said in a statement.

Rashon, Donte and the city of Philly will reportedly work together on developing a committee to award the grants to students. They'll also get to submit thoughts and recommendations to the city solicitor on other ways of promoting equality in public places, including restaurants and retail establishments.

When asked whether the grant will focus on helping young entrepreneurs of color, Mike Dunn - a spokesmans for the city of Philadelphia - said, “We are still working out those details.”

We love this idea, but we can’t help but wonder, is it enough?

What if they create this program and end up excluding BLACK students from receiving the benefits? We’re not being negative Nancy’s here, but we all know how the dice can be rolled sometimes. We just hope this program will actually HELP underprivileged students who are really trying to make something of themselves.

As you may know, Starbucks will be closing 8,000 stores on May 29th for racial bias training and they hired a team of black leaders, including former Attorney General Eric Holder, to come up with the curriculum.

Waffle House hero James Shaw Jr. was gifted a major surprise during his appearance on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show.” James is the brave man who wrestled an AR-15 assault rifle from a white terrorist who shot and killed four people inside a Waffle House in Tennessee. The shooter was caughtand is currently sitting behind bars.

While chatting with Ellen, he shared D. Wade is his favorite NBA baller because he likes the way he carries himself outside of the court. Next thing you know, D. Wade comes from backstage as a huge surprise. The NBA baller said he wouldn’t miss a chance to meet James because he is HIS hero.

The Waffle House hero started a GoFundMe account to help pay for the funerals of the four people who were shot and killed inside the Waffle House that day, including DeEbony Groves, Akilah DaSilva, Joe R. Perez, and Taurean C. Sanderlin.

“My name is James Shaw Jr. I am creating this page to help the families of the victims from the Shooting that took place at Waffle House in Antioch, TN. Please take the time to donate as all of the proceeds will be given to the families. Thank you again for your generosity and blessings!,” he writes on the page.

His initial goal was $15,000, but he has surpassed that several times over.  As of the time of this post, James has raised $219,528! WOW!

Eric Reid, the first player to kneel down with Colin Kaepernick when he launched his peaceful, non-violent protest in 2016, is now suing the NFL. Following behind Colin Kaepernick, the free agent is filing a collusion grievance against the league while his free agency status drags out after the draft.

Yep, sounds like they’re trying to blackball him as well. In October 2016, Colin filed a grievance against the league under the latest collective bargaining agreement against NFL owners for collusion.

What’s crazy is the 26-year-old does not have a job in the NFL as of yet, however, he was the 49ers’ third-leading tackler last season. Hmph. Well, he has called up Colin’s legal team, high powered attorney Mark Geragos, because he’s tired of sitting around waiting for the NFL to make a decision.

ESPN reports:

Reid's grievance is a system arbitrator case that will be adjudicated under the terms of the NFL's collective bargaining agreement. The claims in Reid's grievance are similar to those of Kaepernick's, the source told ESPN.

"Our union is aware that Eric Reid and his legal representatives filed a collusion claim, which will be heard through the arbitration process as spelled out in our collective bargaining agreement," the NFL Players Association said in a statement Wednesday. "Our union supports Eric and we are considering other legal options to pursue."

Reid, 26, remains unsigned after becoming a free agent in March when his rookie contract with the 49ers expired. He was one of the first players to join Kaepernick two years ago in kneeling during the national anthem to protest police brutality and racial inequality.

Definitely looks like a trend here. Thoughts?

For the cover story, Rihanna gets candid about a number of things and we’re almost shocked that she shared so openly. As you all know, there was a time when Rihanna and Drake were a “thing,” fueling dating rumors as they were spotted damn near everywhere together. Things had seemed to be heating up between the two when Drizzy sang Rih Rih’s praises at the 2016 MTV VMAs where she was set to receive the Vanguard Award. She said sitting through the Young Money rapper’s speech was super uncomfortable for her.

She also shared she and Drizzy are no longer friends, but there’s no beef.

“The VMAs is such a fan-focused awards show, so having that energy around me, and knowing the people who had received the award in the past, made it feel like a big deal,” she said. “Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.” When I ask about the current state of their friendship, her attitude is sanguine. “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”

Not mad at that. We’re sure her rumored Saudi billionaire beau Hassan Jameel wouldn’t approve of his woman getting closer than close to Drizzy with his womanizing reputation.

Speaking of Rih’s love life, she sort of talked about feeling guilty when she takes time “off.” We can’t help but assume she’s referring to taking time off to spend with her man.

“I used to feel guilty about taking personal time, but I also think I never met someone who was worth it before.”

She never mentioned his name, but we can read between the lines. Finally, the 30-year-old singer, who has been in the spotlight since a teenager, has found a balance between work and her personal life.

“Even mentally, just to be away from my phone, to be in the moment, that has been key for my growth,” she says. “Now, when I come to work, I’m all in. Because before you know it, the years will go by. I’m glad I’m taking the time. I’m happy.”

The Fenty Beauty honcho celebrated a milestone birthday just a few months ago. She turned 30 on February 20th. This year, she celebrated her birthday differently than she has in the past. Chick is a party girl and known for trekking through the streets late night as she leaves nightclubs after a night of partying. However, she enjoyed an early night in bed for her 30th.

“OK, so now that I’m 30, are there things I’m supposed to do? Should I be worried? Should I be freezing my eggs? What do you do at 30?!,” she asked.

As she enters the Dirty Club, folks are likely down her neck about having kids because you know, that “biological clock” thing. She’s in no rush, but her maternal instinct is so obvious, especially when she’s looking after her cousin/niece Majesty.

“I’m not gonna be able to take my eyes off my kid. I know that already about myself,” she shared. “They’re going to have to force me to hire a nanny.”

A new season of “Dear White People” is about to hit our televisions and before it does, the cast hit the red carpet for the premiere. Lead star Logan Browning has a message for people who say they can’t relate to the show inside…

Last night, the “Dear White People” cast, including DeRon Horton, John Patrick Amedori, Antoinette Robertson, Logan Browning, Ashley Blaine Featherson, Brandon P Bell and Marque Richardson, joined forces on the red carpet for the Netflix show’s premiere season 2 premiere held at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood.

“Dear White People” starlet Logan Browning made a stunning appearance on the red carpet last night as she gears up for the 2nd season of the controversial series. White people certainly have opinions about the show and have not been shy about sharing their feelings. The on-screen and off-screen activist chopped it up with VICE where she responds to critics who say too much of the black experience in the show was defined by whiteness.

“This is a young black kid going to a predominantly white institution, so of course the narrative is under the lens of whiteness,” she explained. “That’s where they are! And it’s the whole point. Make a show if you have an issue with it. Write a show about kids going to an HBCU. There’s room for it. But this specific experience exists, it’s real, and it correlates to our society. We live in a world of whiteness and we have to navigate that. It’s our world and we’re literally giving you a reflection of it. So, if you got an issue, turn it outwards and turn it inwards. It’s what’s around you.”

In the past, she has hosted the event in NYC, Detroit and San Antonio, but this year she was in the City of Brotherly Love at Temple University to encourage the future generation to seek higher education.

And she came perfectly dressed for the event, per usual. We’ve said this before and we’ll say it again, Michelle Obama totally changed the fashion game for future First Ladies. She could slay the hell out of a suit and jeans and tees.

For the College Day Signing event, Mrs. Obama rolled up on the scene in a double denim Alexander McQueen jacket, the event’s official t-shirt and a pair of black pants.

The Princeton University and Harvard Law School grad spoke before 8,000 high school seniors about the importance of higher learning and instilled in them that she has their back even if no one else does.

“I know you have everything it takes to succeed,” she said. “I know that you are me, and if I can be standing here as your forever First Lady, then you can do anything you put your mind to. So remember this moment when you’re out there.”

The Chi-town native shared with the students about her own insecurities and struggles she faced when she and President Barack Obama first stepped foot inside the White House.

“But here's the advice that I have for you,” she said. “You're going to get to college and you're going to struggle sometimes because we all struggle.” “When Barack and I set foot in the White House, it was a struggle. There were a lot of people who told us that we weren't supposed to be in the White House, that we couldn't handle the pressure, that we weren't ready.

“They will doubt you today and they will doubt you for the rest of your life. But you will have some struggle, and that's OK.

Mrs. Obama stressed the importance of having a good circle of people around you to help you out when needed and told them never to be afraid to ask questions.

“But see, when you hit those roadblocks, when you have trouble in that class, when you feel like you're falling behind, you have to ask for help. No one gets through college on their own. And you have to get on campus right away and find your community. You find your posse. Never be isolated.”

Great words of advice for any high school senior entering the next phase of their life.

While we're still trying to understand why Juelz Santana thought bringing a gun to a NJ airport was a great idea, he's appearing unbothered by his hefty indictment.  Deets inside, plus Kat Williams' latest foolywangery.

Back in March, rapper Juelz Santana tried to get through Newark's airport security with a whole gun, then took off running when it was discovered.  After turning himself in days later, and posting bail about a month later, he was just handed an indictment. 

Juelz, government name Laron James, was just hit with federal weapons charges after a grand jury found there was probable cause to believe he tried to smuggle a handgun he was barred from possessing.

This guy.

NJ.com reports:

The indictment, which prosecutors said was returned by the grand jury on Monday, charges James, whom the Associated Press reported has at least two felony convictions, with one count each of carrying a firearm on an aircraft and possessing a weapon as a previously convicted felon.

James is scheduled to be arraigned before U.S. District Judge Stanley R. Chesler on May 10, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

In other foolish legal woes, comedian Katt Williams is back at it.  He was reportedly arrested after a fight involving a salt shaker at Spondivitz restaurant in Atlanta a few days ago.  Now, the manager whom he allegedly attacked is suing.  Of course.

Courthouse News detailed the four-page complaint filed in Fulton County Superior Court, plaintiff Kevin Oliveira says Williams, whose given name is Micah Sierra, arrived at the Spondivits Restaurant with a party of other individuals and was told he be seated “a soon as space became available.”

According to WSB-TV, the manager was taken to Atlanta Medical Center by ambulance after he was hit in the face with the salt shaker when Katt apparently got pissed about waiting (or something).  The employee says Katt Williams is the culprit, and the incident has caused him a loss of income due to necessary surgery and multiple stitches.

On April 27, 2016, Williams  “became annoyed and irate and without provocation intentionally threw a glass salt shaker” at the employee, a lawsuit filed Thursday in Fulton County Superior Court states.

The employee was taken by ambulance to the Atlanta Medical Center emergency room where injuries required surgery and 10 stitches; afterward he had to take medication for severe inflammation, pain and suffering, the lawsuit states. The ordeal left him suffering extreme mental anguish and physical pain, it says.

A mess.  The manager is seeking legal fees and unspecified damages relating to medical bills and other expenses.

Interestingly, Katt is already banned from two counties in Georgia - Hall and Dawson - after he allegedly assaulted his own bodyguard and made terrorist threats in February 2016.

Mike Epps has a new fiance, tv producer Kyra Robinson!  The comedian/actor popped the question over the weekend with a fancy party with friends and family (and even had his fave rap group perform).

Mike and Kyra went public with their relationship last July, and have been posting each other all over social media, even before his divorce from Mechelle Epps was final in September.

They both looked over the moon happy at the party though, and Kyra's a stunner:

Mike must be rolling in the dough.  His divorce settlement has him paying $25K/month to Mechelle for the next 6.5 years, or until she remarries.  Plus, he's ponying up $15K/month in child support and the kids' private school tuition.  He also has to split his royalties from his big films like Hangover and Girls Trip with Mechelle.

Since he did get to keep his 10 properties in Indiana (Mechelle got their 4 cars), we guess he always has a way to liquidate if necessary.  Weddings and second wives can get expensive.  Just sayin'.

A rumor was circulating around these Internet streets that one of your fave YBF couples split.

Terez Owensreported Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert had called it quits after Teyana supposedly went through his phone and caught him cheating with other chicks. They then reported their new VH1 show, "Teyana & Iman," would be cut to five episodes instead of eight. Welp, that seems not to be true on either front.  Teyana's mom popped back saying the show is just fine.

A quick video posted by the 27-year-old singer/dancer/actress handled the rest. She put up a video of her grinding on her man with the caption, "The only split petunia is doing issa split on da d**kkkk." Eeeooow! Peep the clip (and that print) above.

We finally get to see Zoe Salanda and her hubby Marco Perego’s sons cute little faces. The Guardians of the Galaxy star was honored with her own Hollywood Walk of Fame star to join the bevy of actors and actresses trailing down Hollywood Boulevard today.

With such a big feat in her career, she couldn’t leave her three sons behind so they could share in the special moment. Zoe and Marco’s 3-year-old twin sons, Cy& Bowie, and their 14-month old Zen made their red carpet debut at the event. If you follow Zoe, then you know she hardly ever shows their faces.

We’ve snuck in a few sneak peeks of the boys when photogs caught the HOllywood actress and her family out and about previously, but this is the first time she has brought them to a red carpet event.

How cute are they?!

The 39-year-old actress, styling in a dainty peach dress, confirmed she and her husband will not be trying for a girl. "Three is enough!," she said previously.

The big achievement comes fresh on the heels of a record-breaking opening weekend for Avengers: Infinity War, in which she stars in, raking in $630 million worldwide. It scored the highest worldwide opening weekend ever and it's the first time the Guardians of the Galaxy team up with Earth's mightiest heros.

In new movie news...

“Insecure” creator/star is joining forces with “black-ish” starlet Marsai Martin in a new film. And based on the description and the folks behind it, we know it’s going to be a hit.

According to Deadline, Issa has signed on for Universal Pictures’ upcoming comedy titled, Little. Will Packer is on board to produce, while director Tina Gordon will helm the film.

Here’s a synopsis of the film:

Camilla Blackett (ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat) wrote the latest version of the script, which is about a woman who gets the chance to relive the carefree life as her younger self when the pressures of adulthood become too much. An earlier draft was written by Gordon and Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip). James Lopez and Black-ish creator Kenya Barris are also producing the pic with Josh Martin, Martin and Regina Hall serving as executive producers. Erik Baiers and Mika Pryce will oversee the project for Universal.

Little is expected to hit theaters September 20, 2019.

A judge wants Jay Z in court next week to explain why he’s been ducking them after two subpoenas in a fraud case. Get the deets inside…

Jay Z will have to clear his schedule next week to appear in court after a judge has ordered him to make an appearance to answer a few questions.

A federal judge wants to ask the Hip Hop mogul why he’s reportedly “dodging” a subpoena related to a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation of a company that bought his Rocawear clothing line.

According to Billboard, U.S. District Judge Paul G. Gardephe instructed the rapper, real name Shawn Carter, to appear in a Manhattan courtroom next Tuesday to explain why he shouldn't have to testify in an SEC probe into Iconix. In 2007, Hov sold Rocawear to Iconix for $204 million.

They’re not investigating Hov, but they need his testimony in the case.

According to a court document made public recently, the SEC is investigating "potential violations" of federal financial disclosure laws by Iconix when the company reported financial results, including about its Rocawear-related assets.

A rep for Hov issued a statement saying the entertainer had no role in Iconix’s financial reporting or its actions as a public company. The statement said the rapper is a private citizen “who should not be involved in this matter.” The SEC got the federal judge involved after Jay allegedly “defied two lawful subpoenas.”

Billboard reports:

Among other things, the SEC said it wants Jay-Z to reveal the value of the Rocawear trademark and his involvement with the brand after the sale to Iconix. It also said it wants to learn about his other companies that did business with Iconix and his awareness of the knowledge and intent of other people who knew of transactions involving Jay-Z, his affiliated companies and Iconix.

Jay Z is set to go before the judge on May 8th to try and convince him why he shouldn’t have to deliver a testimony in the fraud cause against Iconix. If he fails to convince the judge that he shouldn’t have to testify, then he will be forced to give his testimony before the SEC in Washington on May 11th. It’s reported he will be required to answer questions for as many days as it takes. Sheesh.

This news comes on the heels of reports that Hov's Roc Nation is launching a television division to be headed by Weinstein Co. alum Patrick Reardon.

“Power” fans get excited because it’s almost that time again.

The season 5 trailer just dropped and this season looks like it’s going to take a dark turn with plenty of surprising moments sprinkled throughout. Last season, Ghost and Tasha had to deal with losing their daughter Raina after she was gunned down in the street by crooked cop Ray Ray for defending her brother, Tariq. Meanwhile, Tariq watched the whole thing go down, but concealed the shooter’s identity from his dad. Ghost thinks it's the Jimenez that killed Raina.

Then, Tariq steals his mom’s gun, tracks down Raina’s killer, and shoots him dead. Right after he shoots the gun, Ghost, Tasha and Tommy find him. When Tariq tells them that Dre told him where Ray Ray was that’s when they knew they had to get him. And that’s where we are in season 5.

“My daughter is dead, someone has to pay for it,” Ghost says in the trailer. Oddly, Ghost and Kanan reunite to find Raina’s killer. “We’ll all feel better once this is over,” Kanan says to Ghost.

“This season of Power is defined by grief, revenge, family, and faith,” creator Courtney Kemptold Deadline about the upcoming season.

“As a writers room, we really looked at each character through the idea of ‘legend vs. legacy’, examining the difference between the stories we tell about ourselves and the stories we leave behind. As loyalties shift and relationships are redefined, we hope the audience discovers a darker, more intimate, more intense season than any before.”

"Power" star LaLa Anthony and her estranged husband Carmelo Anthony were spotted together recently. The now separated couple were both in attendance to support their homie's fashion line in Harlem.

It's unclear if they're actually working on getting back together or not, but we do know they're at least cool with one another at this post. If look closely, we noticed they're both covering up those ring fingers. Could be a coincidence. We all know Melo wants her back as he has desperately been trying to win her back on social media. He's exhausting all options and resources.

Back in December, LaLa was spotted courtside when Melo made his return to Madison Square Garden as an OKC Thunder player.

Guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. We wish them both the best though.

The Head Barb just dropped two brand new videos for “Chun Li” and “Barbie Tingz” where she serves up some Nicki The Ninja and Harajuku Barbie vibes, respectively. Old Nicki fans know who we're talking about.

In the Steven-Klein directed video for “Chun Li,” the Young Money rapper’s alter ego Nicki the Ninja appears to be captured in some type of futuristic sex dungeon of sorts. A few days ago, she dropped a teaser for the visuals that were nothing like the real video. Hey, anything for promo right?

When Serena Williams revealed she was getting married to Reddit co-creator Alexis Ohanian she received mixed reactions from the black community. Some congratulated the tennis superstar, who has dated both black and white men in the past, on finally finding love, while others bashed her for “settling” with a white man.

Whether black or white, the new mom told the NY Times she wanted to be with someone who would love her unconditionally and she found that in Alexis.

“Ultimately I wanted to be with someone who treated me nice, someone who was able to laugh with me and someone who understood my life and someone that loved me,” she said.

The 36-year-old athlete said she never imagined marrying a white man, but love has no color and she wouldn’t trade him in for the world.

“Oh my God,” she said. “Literally all I tell Alexis is, ‘well, you know, there’s such a difference between white people and black people.’ He always gets to hear about the injustices that happen; that wouldn’t happen if I were white. It’s interesting. I never thought I would have married a white guy, either, so it just goes to show you that love truly has no color, and it just really goes to show me the importance of what love is. Alexis is the one I connected with, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Then she added, “And my dad absolutely loves Alexis.”

Aww! We’re happy she’s happy. It’s hard out here trying to find the “one,” especially when you’re a successful, black woman.

Comedian/"The Real" co-host Loni Love knows how hard it is trying to find love during this day and age. And made sure she spoke up to defend Serena for the negative backlash she has received, especially since black male athletes don't receive as much hate for marrying outside their race.

In the first episode of Serena’s five-party HBO documentary “Being Serena” (which debuted this week), fans saw the 23-time Grand Slam winner leaving the hospital with the baby and her hubby after undergoing a C-section. She gave birth to their daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. in September 2017.

However, Rena suffered major complications after her C-section that almost took her life.

“I think we should have another baby,” Rena said to Alexis as they get into the car. He responded, “Can we at least get home with the first one?” In the interview with the NY Times, she said she didn’t remember saying that until she saw the video.

“I must have been crazy,” she said, laughing.“I was clearly on something.”  She was likely still feeling some of the affects of the medications she was given in the hospital. Nearly eight months later she acknowledges that the desire for more children still remains strong. “Oh yeah, if I wasn’t wanting to play tennis,” she said,“I definitely would have talked Alexis into having a baby already.”

Doesn’t sound like baby #2 is ruled out completely. You can read her full interview here.

Cardi B is relishing in the fact that Celina Powell was exposed for her lying ways.

Insta-thot model Celina Powell came out with claims that Offset was the father of her daughter back in December. Cardi and Offset responded to the rumors saying Celina was lying about the Migos rapper being her baby’s daddy because he doesn’t even know her. Yes, he got caught cheating, but it apparently wasn’t with her.

After Celina’s baby was born, she took it a step further by allegedly giving the baby Offset’s legal last name. She said on Twitter she gave the baby the last name, but we’ve never seen an official birth certificate. However, she did try to prove he's the father by sharing paternity test paperwork that she altered:

Well, Celina's secret was safe until she got into it with her best friend. Her bestie friend exposed her on Twitter for altering DNA documents to falsely accuse the Migos rapper as the father of her child. Two separate videos of phone calls were uploaded to Twitter where a woman who is believed to be Celina can be heard revealing how she doctored the paperwork to get people to believe her story.

"I think I'm just gonna alter those for these papers and I think that'll be good enough," the voice can be heard saying,” she said in the video."I swear, I will fight her... This is like my credibility on the line and if I can just get people to at like least believe it and then like leave me the fuck alone, that's fine," the voice believed to be Celina continued.

Trey Songz is thanking his lucky stars after he was cleared in a domestic violence case.

The charge stems from accuser Andrea Buera who says Trey punched her repeatedly during All Star Weekend when he became upset with her for allegedly talking to another man at a Hollywood Hills party. She did apress conference with famed attorney Lisa Bloom to show off her bruises and said Trey beat her so bad she ended up with a concussion. Trigga was then brought up on felony charges, so he turned himself in. Later, the L.A. District Attorney announced he wouldn’t be charged with a felony.

Apparently, there wasn’t enough evidence to prosecute the R&B crooner. It also helped that Trey’s attorney was able to get witnesses that told a totally different story as to what happened that night.

TMZ reports:

The L.A. City Attorney rejected the case Friday citing insufficient evidence and will not slap the singer with a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. The news comes less than a month after the L.A. District Attorney said Trey wouldn't face a felony criminal charge for allegedly hitting a woman, and kicked the case to the City Attorney's office.

There's that. He's still not out of the woods though.

In December 2017, a Philly woman sued the singer for $50,000 for allegedly attacking her outside of a strip club he made in appearance in May 2017.

She claims she tried to snap a picture of him in the parking lot and that’s when he smacked the phone out of her hand, which flew onto her face, breaking her glasses. Now, she wants him (and the venue) to pay up.

With the huge success of Black Panther, YBF actor Winston Duke was thrusted into the limelight as one of the film’s breakout stars. He played his character M’Baku perfectly and it doesn't hurt he’s easy on the eyes.

Believe it or not, Winston says he was insecure about his body before the movie. He credits black women for healing his insecurities and transforming him into a heartthrob in an interview with Newsweek.

“At the end of the day, it’s been women from all over the world and all different cultures, but it was really started and driven by Black women and I wanna thank them for that,” he explains.

“I have not always been in a position to think that the things that made me who I am have always been positive. My height and my size have also made me look like an aggressor without trying. And to now be in a space where they’re saying that’s what makes me beautiful and that’s what makes me disarming, that’s really humbling and it feels really good.”=

We can’t but wonder, if you were battling these insecurities, what was your Asian/white girlfriend doing for you? Isn't that what she's supposed to be doing in the first place as your woman? 

Speaking of Winston, he just launched his new clothing line.

According to The Grio:

Duke, whose M’Baku character was a fan favorite in the billion dollar plus box office smash, is donating part of the proceeds from the sales to the American Diabetes Association, an organization near and dear to him. In a newsletter to fans, Duke explained the new venture.

“Join me, M’Baku, the leader of the Jabari tribe, with my exclusive Black Panther design. A portion of proceeds supports a cause close to my heart, the American Diabetes Association. Many members of my family and extended family are living with diabetes. They are rockstars and deserve the support needed to thrive.”

The Trinidad and Tobago native created a suite of six pieces for the launch. The tops range from hoodies to tanks to long-sleeved t-shirts. The Afrocentric gear features a styled portrait of M’Baku in red, green, and yellow with “Wakanda Forever” repeated on the background. Ranging in price from $25.00 to $49.99, the offerings are sure to be a hit with Black Panther fanatics who have been clamoring to get their hands on the rather sparse selection of available Black Panther Merchandise. Those wanting to hop on the M’Baku train will have to act fast. Sales for the limited collection end on April 27.

Chadwick Boseman is keeping busy.

After a long week of promoting his new film, Avengers: Infinity War, the 40-year-old actor was spotted enjoying lunch with friend in Los Feliz, California recently.

The Howard alum is gearing up to return to his alma mater as to deliver the keynote address at Howard University’s 150th commencement ceremony on May 12th. Not only that, he’ll be presented with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.

“I’m excited to return to the Mecca in celebration of the achievements of our illustrious students,” the Black Panther hottie said in a statement announcing the keynote address. “Let’s listen, learn and build with one another.”

Howard's commencement is about the be the blackest ceremony this year.

By the way, Black Panther leads the pack of MTV Movie & TV Awards nominations, receiving 7 nominations, including Best Movie. It’s the first time the black superhero has been recognized at an awards show, but please believe it’s only because this is the first awards show since the movie was released. Chadwick Boseman has been nominated for Best Performance in a Movie and Best Hero. Additionally, Letitia Wright was nominated in the Scene Stealer category for her role as “Shuri” and Michael B. Jordan was nominated in the Best Villain category for his portrayal of “N’Jadaka/Erik Killmonger.”

The 2018 “MTV Movie & TV Awards,” hosted by Tiffany Haddish, airs Monday, June 18th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT from the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles.

11-year-old Kaitlyn Williams is the real-life Chun-Li.

The Atlanta native is a purple belt at Next Level Martial Arts and she’s snatching up all type of awards and certificates for her skills. We caught up with the YBF Kid ia her mom, and we're told she loves everything about the art of karate.  She said karate gives her the ability to focus and a place where she can her true self. And the proof is in the smiles (and trophies).

Kaitlyn is good at what she does.  Like, really good. She's the 2017 Girls 10/11-year-old Intermediate National Champion of the North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA). Congrats!

Not only is she kicking butt in the sport, she's killing it in the classroom as well.

The Honor Roll student (with straight As) started an Instagram page to introduce karate to other young ladies who look like her. Kaitlyn believes the sport helps build confidence, is a fun way to exercise and, most importantly, it’s fun!

Beyonce’s Coachella performance had a huge impact on the younger generation and they’re showing out on the Internet while paying homage to the Queen.

In case you missed it, Virginia State University student Brianna Bundick-Kelly (aka BRIyonce) went viral when she uploaded a video of herself nailing some of Beyonce’s signature dance moves during her Coachella performance. Chick perfected every move Bey and her backup dancers did on the O.T. Genasis remixed track “Everybody Mad.” And she literally learned it in 40 minutes.

BRIyonce was invited to the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” to show off her dance moves and explained how the video came about. “It took me like 40 minutes to get all the moves down, but then like an hour to perfect it,” she said, “cause that’s what Beyonce would do.”

Facts.
