The Grammy Award winning songstress and soul icon is back y'all! Ava and co. tapped the super fab chick to contribute two versions of “Flower of the Universe” to the A Wrinkle in Time Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Album, out now. It’s the first time she’s contributed a song to a soundtrack since 1986, and her first song since her sixth album, Soldier of Love.

By the way, Sade also co-wrote and co-produced the song alongside Ben Travers and longtime collaborator Andrew Hale. The remix was served up by Roc Nation fave No I.D. Come through with all the vibes we needed!

About the track, Ava revealed, “My creative partnership with Sade on ‘Flower of the Universe’ was so connected that I reverse engineered the usual process and used her lyrics as actual dialogue within the film.”

We're usually bored to tears by the "drama" in Potomac, but we're always here for shade about a new Housewife, tea on somebody not paying taxes, and rumors of engagements, divorce and open relationships. Sue us.

Wooooo there is A LOT going on in this new supertrailer for the upcoming season of "Real Housewives of Potomac."

Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon and Monique Samuels (Charrisse Jackson-Jordan returns as a friend) are all back for more shade with class."

They're also throwing plenty of it toward new housewife Candiace Dillard (above), an engaged, 31-year-old former Miss United States was born in Biloxi and grew up in Atlanta. She calls herself an entrepreneur as the founder and CEO of Candiace Dillard Pageant Consulting, co-founder of Prima Hair Collection by Candiace Dillard, and co-owner of Chateau Salon Suites.

This season, it sounds like Karen has a blue-eyed boy toy on the side, after she reveals her husband wants a divorce.  She also claims she's not a debt despite all the broke AF rumors and tax debt surrounding their marriage. Ashley's gotta choose between her man and her mama, while Robyn seems to be back to kissing on her live-in ex-husband.

This season the ladies are dealing with the high and lows of friendships, and marriages are being challenged. Karen and Ray are the talk of Potomac after the Washington Post breaks the story on Ray’s tax debt. Karen is trying to keep her head high and support her man, but when the women see her living beyond her means, accusations of creating smoke and mirrors are thrown out, and the grande dame comes undone. Meanwhile, Ashley and Michael are working to get back on track, but Ashley’s need to be financially responsible for her mother drives Michael to give her an ultimatum she can’t bear. After many disappointments, Gizelle has found a man who can handle her big personality and is living on cloud nine with Sherman, but will balancing motherhood, a new relationship, and her cosmetic line prove to be too much? Potomac gains a new resident, as Monique and Chris officially move into their home. They want to expand their family but Monique is so overwhelmed with all her endeavors, she questions being able to add more to her plate. Robyn and Juan are starting to piece their life back together. Their finances are finally back on track, and they moved into a bigger home, but not everyone is sending positive energy their way. Ashley continues to judge the way Robyn and Juan choose to live their life, causing a rift between the ladies. And new housewife Candiace Dillard is a former Miss United States who knows Ashley from the pageant circuit. She’s newly engaged and is planning her dream wedding, but when she meets the other women, entering this inner circle proves to be no easy feat.

“The Real Housewives of Potomac” premieres Sunday, April 1 at 10pm ET/PT. Beginning Sunday, May 6, the series moves to its permanent timeslot at 8pm ET/PT.  Are y'all over it?  Or are you tuning in with snacks?

Cory Hardrict plays a dirty cop in the new series “The Oath.” He dishes to TheYBF.com about his new role and how it ties into the teachers with guns debate. Also, the soon-to-be new dad again let’s his softer side show, serving up all #DadGoals feels. Get it all inside…

Cory Hardrict is gearing up for the release of Crackle’s new crime thriller, “The Oath,” executive produced by 50 Cent. And it’s going to be a good one.

The 10-episode series explores a world of gangs, but this isn’t your usual gang movie. These gangs are made up of those sworn to protect and defend and sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join—only a select few make the cut—but once inside, members will do what they must to protect each other from enemies on the outside and from within their own ranks.

Cory will play a dirty cop named Officer Cole Hammond. His character is a “cop whose cool and composed demeanor conceals an underlying sense of paranoia. Raised by white foster parents, Hammond is fueled by an intense dedication to protect the only family he has ever had — putting him at odds with the other members of the Ravens gang.”

“The Oath” will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the corruption that runs rampant in police departments. And a lot of it is based on actual facts. Former Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Halpin, who was involved in a police gang while on the force, created the series and was very hands on during production.

Now that he’s on a show exposing cops, gangs and social injustices, and he has a son he’s sending to school everyday, we had to ask him how he felt about the current climate of school safety with reports of school shootings and whether or not he believes teachers should be armed in schools.

“I’m more conscious with him, going to school and coming home,” Cory tells TheYBF.com about sending his 6-year-old son Cree Hardrict to school everyday. “He’s in private school but it can happen anywhere. It’s tough in today’s world. All I can do is keep faith and pray.”

As for how he feels about teachers having guns in school, he's absolutely against it. He says politicians need to be more concerned about putting human lives first before anything else. We def agree with him there.

Not only does he have to worry about his son, he'll also be daddy to a baby girl soon as his wife Tia Mowry Hardrict is pregnant with their second child. It’s been a tough road for them for baby #2, as Tia has had fertility issues. But, Cory has always remained positive that things will work out as they should.

“I just keep it in prayer,” he said about Tia’s fertility complications. “I pray about everything and just know what’s meant to be will be and will work out. I wasn’t worried because I knew one day it would happen if it were supposed to. It affected me, but it kind of didn’t because I knew it would all work out. “

The Hardricts are still juggling names for the new baby. However, the American Sniper actor made it clear he wants his daughter to "have a name with strength and power." She's due May 5th!

He revealed having a daughter has him letting his guard down more and showing his softer side. His eyes even water up when he thinks about having a baby girl. Aww! #DadGoals

As for how the Brotherly Love star juggles being a husband, a father and his career, he seems to have it all figured out.

“A lot of traveling back and forth and a lot of Facetiming,” he told us.

He said his family will come out wherever he is shooting scenes and he travels back home a lot. Cree even comes on set with him sometimes. Cute.

Transracial chick Rachel Dolezal has trolled herself into a whole Netflix documentary, and no one seems to be here for it.  Especially not at least one of her sons.  See the trailer and foolishness inside...

While there are tons of LGBTQ (y'all know Rachel now claims to be sexually fluid) and racially and culturally marginalized stories out there the world should get to see and hear, Netflix went and picked up this one.

After Rachel Dolezal was exposed back in 2015 for faking her blackness while being a leader in her local NAACP chapter, she never backed down from being, or "identifying as" a black woman.  Despite the fact she was born to two white parents.  And the fact she's clearly not biologically black.

Some folks defended her for simply identifying how she wanted to identify (and for some reason some blacks felt proud that she wanted to identify as black).  Others said she was taking cultural appropriation to an epic level, and she would never actually experience what a black woman - who is biologically black and born to at least one black parent - experiences.  So she shouldn't have the privilege of identifying, or speaking on behalf of, the black woman.

Yep, the woman who gentrified blackness is still being talked about.  Rachel and her braids (she's now a hairstylist as well) will be telling their story in a new Netflix doc called The Rachel Divide.

At least one of her sons is clearly sad and not here for all this intrusiveness.  Yet, she continues to allow filming.  Loni Love actually revealed that she noticed this about one of her sons when Rachel appeared on "The Real":

Here's how the documentary came to be:

Filmmaker Laura Brownson (behind the award-winning 2011 documentary Lemon) spent two years filming Dolezal and her two sons to reveal the complex personal motives behind Dolezal’s transracial identity — while also chronicling the fury and disapproval that continue to follow her every move. And next month, the director’s vérité-style feature documentary The Rachel Divide is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival before arriving on Netflix on April 27.

“In making the film, I came to a deeper understanding of the raw nerve that Rachel hits in our society, but I also learned that her motivations to identify as she does are far more complicated than most realize,” Brownson tells Vulture. “Regardless of how people feel about Rachel, I hope the film will challenge audiences to think more deeply about race and identity in America.”

Almost two years since tying the knot and these two look more in love than ever.

Date nights are always important in a relationship. Ciara and Russell Wilson know all too well as they always make time to spend together alone. After jetting back to the west coast from the Yankees' spring training camp in Florida, the lovebirds stepped out for a fun date night at the Staples Center to see the Los Angeles Lakers go head-to-head against the Orlando Magic last night.

The 32-year-old singer looked great in casual threads that still packed an edgy punch. She rocked an oversized blue varsity cardigan that hung off her shoulders, a black tank top underneath, black leggings and black leather thigh-high Christian Louboutin boots. Meanwhile, Russ kept it cool in all black with brown Timberland boots.

As they sat courtside at the game, Russ couldn’t keep his eyes off of his wife and mother of his 10-month-old daughter Sienna Wilson and 3-year-old stepson Future Wilburn.

By the way, the Lakers beat the Magic by 1 point, 108-107.

Also, we’re wondering if she’s about to release some new music soon since she’s been “rehearsing” on social media lately. We’ve spotted a few dance videos on her timeline. Time will tell…

Ish hit the fan on the radio in the DMV area this morning between co-hosts Danni Starr, QuickSilva and DJ 5’9. Find out why Danni claims she was ambushed and what her co-hosts have to say about the situation inside…

If you’re in the DMV area and listening to the radio on your morning commute this morning then you likely heard what went down on 93.9 WKYS “The Fam In The Morning.” Ish got SUPER heated and one of the co-hosts may have called it quits.

Radio personality Danni Starr posted on Instagram that she was looking for a babysitter to look after her two daughters after her previous sitter had to leave due to family issues. Apparently, a woman she called “very pretty” slid in her DMs to inquire about the babysitting job. Danni showed her co-hosts QuickSilva and DJ 5’9 the DM and her picture and said she wouldn’t hire the woman because she’s "too pretty." This happened before this morning’s show.

Today, things took a turn for the worst when QuickSilva and DJ 5’9 allowed the woman who slid in Danni’s DMs come up to the studio to “stand up for pretty chicks.” Oh.

The guys started going in on Danni, calling her insecure because she didn’t want to hire a “pretty” nanny. Then, Danni and the “pretty woman” went back and forth. Danni remained adamant that its solely HER choice on who she decides to let in her home and watch her children, so regardless what anyone says, if she feels like she doesn’t want to hire a nanny that’s “pretty” then that’s her choice.

After Danni stormed off air, she went on Facebook Live to explain WHY she didn't want the "pretty" woman in her house. She expained she's pro-active now after being cheated on by her ex-husband. She also said her father cheated on her mother with the babysitter and ended up getting her pregnant, so she's super cautious.

Now, here's where it gets tricky...

Danni's co-host QuickSilva said they did NOT ambush Danni and that she KNEW the woman was coming on the show because they all prepped for the show together. Mmhmm...

He said he spoke to Danni and apologized, saying he shouldn't have let it carry on the way it did. Peep his response above and below.

As a woman in radio and the media industry I’ve had some awful and uncomfortable things happen to me, but as an empath I know good people and try to see past that. What happened today was stupid and a whole lot of other adjectives, but I don’t believe the guys even thought it all the way through. What was, I’m assuming, intended to be a joke, backfired. They aren’t malicious dudes, I’ve worked with the worst of the worst. And these guys are NOT those guys. Though I think they should have shut homegirl down as my colleagues and brothers , the heat of the moment did not allow it. People are flawed, I’m flawed- and I’m learning that. With the exception of today’s show these guys have been ride or die for me. They are human, they have families and they make mistakes. Thank you for lifting me up, so join me as we show them a bit of grace. It’s a chance for growth. I’m holding out hope that that’s where we are. Opportunities like this allow us to teach men and woman alike how detrimental it can be to stifle a woman’s voice especially as It related to her personal choices. While this wasn’t the best way to kick off International Women’s Day, it is a reminder for me and my sister tribe that women should be unapologetic in their voices, stances and actions.

Jhene Aiko’s ex-tour manager is dragging her to court over unpaid expenses…allegedly. Get the deets, plus the latest about that crazy Kamiyah Mobley vs. Iyanla Vanzant incident inside…

Paying for expenses from your personal funds expecting to be reimbursed can get tricky.

Jhene Aiko’s former tour manager is dragging the singer-songwriter to court after pulling the trigger on a $70,000 lawsuit. Why? Well, he claims he shelled out that much money (plus interest), using his personal credit cards, while on the road expecting to be paid back after he was hired in October 2017.

It’s reported he has been hitting Jhene up, asking to be reimbursed, but has not as of yet.

According to RadarOnline:

In the March 1 complaint, Joshua Williams said Aiko, whose real names is Jhene Chilombo, breached their contract when she failed to pay him back the money he had paid out-of-pocket. Williams said he paid with his personal credit cards and cash and only agreed to do so because he was told he would be reimbursed either from tour proceeds, or by Aiko herself.

Williams is asking for the $69,826.23 he claimed he is owed with 10 percent interest, attorney’s fees and other legal costs.

We hear Jhene and her camp are counter suing, so dude better have his receipts and bank statements.

The Kamiyah Mobley episode may be the most explosive episode of Iyanla Vanzant’s “Fix My Life.”

A little backstory…

Kamiyah Mobley is the 19-year-old female who was kidnapped when she was just a few hours old from a Jacksonville hospital. Her kidnapper, Gloria Williams, raised Kamiyah as her daughter, Alexis Manigo. In January 2017, she was found in Walterboro, South Carolina and her kidnapper “mother” was arrested.

As she works on building relationships with her biological family, her biological mother decided they would enlist Iyanla to help, but then back out. Well, Kamiyah and her father decided to still appear despite the mom's absence, but nothing got accomplished.

Apparently, Kamiyah got upset when Iyanla told her she had to spend the night at the house they were filming at. That set her off and she went bananas on Iyanla, cursing her out like a ***** in the street. Mad disrespectful.

As the show aired on television, Kamiyah's father, Craig Aiken, hopped on Facebook Live to defend his daughter, claiming the show edited out much of what really happened, which in turn portrayed the situation inaccurately.

"She was trying to make me mad with Kamiyah. I was happy with her," he said in the clip. "I didn't feel like she was going to fix my life, because if my life gets fixed, we are going to do it together."

Craig also made claims that Iyanla's son, who is a cameraman for the show, threatened to beat Kamiyah for speaking to his mother the way she was.

Oprah is a Barbie y’all! And she’s over the moon about it. Go inside to see flicks of the media mogul flossing her Wrinkle In Time doll, plus find out how Ava DuVernay when over and beyond for the kids in Compton inside…

You KNOW you’ve made it when you’re likeness is transformed into a Barbie. Not that Oprah needed a stamp of approval to prove her greatness, but this new doll sure helps to decorate her extensive resume even more. 

Lady O was spotted toting her new Barbie created to look like her character, Mrs. Which, from Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time out in these streets. She was making her way to the set of "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" in New York on Tuesday night and she wanted everyone to see her new doll!

Mattel did a good job on it too.

Wednesday morning...

Lady O stopped by “Good Morning America” to chop it up with Robin Roberts. The ladies sat on a set similar to O’s set from her daytime talk show days. During their chat, Oprah opened up about how the Barbie became a full circle moment for her since she couldn’t even afford a Barbie doll growing up.

"My whole life we couldn't afford a Barbie,” she said. "I had actually a corn cob doll.”

"You go in the cornfield and you take the corn shucks and the golden hair, what was the silk of the corn and that's what we played with," she explained. "I started with a corn cob doll and then to have a full circle that there's a doll made in your image and the image of the character is pretty incredible actually."

Incredible.

There was a 14-year-old black girl in the audience who got the chance to meet Oprah after raising $50,000 to send girls “who look like her” to see A Wrinkle In Time. Being the philanthropist she is, O matched the girl's $50,000 donation and now she has $100,000 for tickets! Sweet!

The young girl asked Oprah from some advice for girls who want to make a change in the world and of course she dropped some gems. “The highest honor on earth is being yourself," she said. "You’re only true job as a human being is to discover why you came, why you are here.” Perfect advice.

Directress Ava DuVernay went over and beyond to make sure kiddies in her hometown saw her film.

Ava went to Disney requesting the first screening of A Wrinkle In Time go down in Compton. Well, there aren’t any movie theaters in the LA neighborhood, so Disney jumped into action. The company created a theater experience inside of a local community center for the screening. Aww!

The SELMA director thanked Compton mayor Aja Brown, who’s planning on running for Congress against Stacey Dash, for the warm welcome, tweeting:

Color of Change, a nonprofit civil rights advocacy organization, has teamed up AMC Theatres to give underprivileged children a chance to see screenings of A Wrinkle in Time for free. They raised enough money to send 12,000 kids across the nation to see the film. Loves it!

If you were like us, you noticed Common didn’t bring his girlfriend/CNN political analyst Angela Rye to the 2018 Academy Awards on Sunday. There were whispers going around that they had called it quits. And now, it’s official.

Common and Angela Rye have broken up, calling off their coupledom that started in the summer of 2017. The political commentator spoke out about the breakup and based on what she said, it sounds like they ended on good terms.

“We have and will always be friends,” Angela told PageSix. “He is an amazing human being, and I’m a much better person because he’s a part of my life. May we all keep loving and living.”

The twosome put their love on front street for the first time at the 2018 Creative Arts Emmysback in September. A month later, the Oscar winning rapper, who was in the running for an Oscar this year, gushed to Bevy Smith on her SiriusXM radio show "Bevelations" about how wonderful Angela is.

"There's a definite connection with Angela Rye," Common said. "She's a wonderful woman. I will just say, I am dating. I'm happy right now—and she is an incredible human being."

There were also previous reports that Angela was receiving death threats over her relationship with Common.

Kenya Moore was ALL smiles hitting the carpet alongside her husband Marc Daly before the viewing party marking their first red carpet appearance together. As you know, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star still lives in Atlanta while her beau lives in NYC to run his businesses, so its hard for the couple to attend events together with their busy schedules.

As the couple made their way down the carpet, they also gave their first joint interview together.

“How could I not know?” Marc told Entertainment Tonight about learning Kenya was “the one.” “Great heart, great person, love at first sight.”

It appears they both fell for one another on their very first date and have been madly in love ever since. They secretly tied the knot last summer.

“I knew the first day. I remember calling Cynthia [Bailey] from the show, and was like, ‘I just met my husband.’ It was that kind of chemistry,” Kenya gushed.

As for those rumors about Kenya’s husband being fake, Marc just laughs it off.

“Honestly, I just laugh at it,” Marc explained. “I know I’m real, and she knows I’m real and that’s all that matters.”

Well there you have it. He's real.

There’s talk Barack Obama could be producing a series of shows for Netflix. U hype or nah? Also, Michael Smith chucks the deuces to “SC6” and is joining his former co-host Jemele Hill on “The Undefeated.” Get all the deets inside…

Back in January, we were gifted with an hour-long conversation between President Barack Obama and David Letterman for his “My Guest Needs No Introduction” series.

Now, it’s being reported, No. 44 is returning to the streaming giant…but in a different capacity.

According to the NY Times, the former president is currently in advanced negotiations with the streaming platform to produce a series of high-profile shows that will provide him with a GLOBAL platform following his White House stint. Of course, all of the shows will be geared toward inspirational messages for the masses.

And get this, former First Lady Michelle Obama is also said to be in on the alleged deal.

The site reports:

Under terms of a proposed deal, which is not yet final, Netflix would pay Mr. Obama and his wife, Michelle, for exclusive content that would be available only on the streaming service, which has nearly 118 million subscribers around the world. The number of episodes and the formats for the shows have not been decided.

Mr. Obama does not intend to use his Netflix shows to directly respond to President Trump or conservative critics, according to people familiar with discussions about the programming. They said the Obamas had talked about producing shows that highlight inspirational stories.

“President and Mrs. Obama have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire,” Eric Schultz, a senior adviser to the former president, said Thursday. “Throughout their lives, they have lifted up stories of people whose efforts to make a difference are quietly changing the world for the better. As they consider their future personal plans, they continue to explore new ways to help others tell and share their stories.”

In one possible show idea, Mr. Obama could moderate conversations on topics that dominated his presidency — health care, voting rights, immigration, foreign policy, climate change — and that have continued to divide a polarized American electorate during President Trump’s time in office.

This is the perfect example that shows how in tune President Obama is. IF this Netflix deal goes through, it would be a powerful tool for POTUS and FLOTUS to spread whatever message they want to convey. As expected, we’re here for it. Are you?

We can’t say we didn’t see this one coming.

A little over a month after sports analyst Jemele Hill left ESPN’s “SC6,” her former Sports Center co-host Michael Smith is now making his exit, according to SportsCenter.

You’ll recall, he hosted the show solo after Jemele's exit on the 1st of February, but he’s done. And just like Jemele, he’s heading over to ESPN’s digital platform “The Undefeated.” He will host his last “SC6” show on Friday.

Since Michael and Jemele have several years left on their contracts, they won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

We’re still not convinced Jemele wasn’t forced off “SC6” and maybe the same thing happened to Michael. OR, he could have decided to leave based on how he saw producers and network execs handle Jemele following her anti-Trump tweets that caused some controversy.

Either way, they're back together again. We hope they do another "His & Hers" type show again.

Rick Ross seems to be recovering well after a recent health scare that sent him to the hospital on a breathing machine for four days. Last week, the MMG honcho was rushed to the hospital after he was found unresponsive in his home. But now, he’s back to doing the things he loves to do.

Four days after being released from the hospital, the Rich Forever rapper took his daughters, Berkley and Toie, along with Berkley’s mom Briana Camille, on a shopping spree at the luxury Bal Harbour Shops in Miami. Photogs nabbed pics of the rapper holding his daughter Berkley as they trekked through the mall.

"Ain’t nothing like home . I love y’all - WLR," he captioned.

Rozay's manager, Black Bo, passed away inside Ross' home a few months ago. It's reported Rozay, Black and their crew went out and came back from partying at like 5AM. They kept calling him the next day and eventually found in lying on his back on the bathroom floor in the rapper's home. He apparently died atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease -- clogging of the arteries. He was 45.

Sad.

What’s really hood Juelz Santana?

Apparently, Juelz forgot to take his gun out of his luggage and TSA agents found it as he went through security checkpoint at New Airport Friday evening.

Once TSA agents got their hands on the gun, the 36-year-old rapper took off running and ran out of the airport, leaving his bags and the gun behind. Wait, what?

NBC 4 New York reports:

Santana, whose real name is LaRon Louis James, was going through the screening at Terminal C about 6 p.m. when sources said agents discovered the firearm.

Sources said that once the "Love and Hip-Hop: New York" star was detected by authorities, he took off running and may have gotten in a taxi.

Port Authority Police Department detectives are currently looking for the Harlem-born performer, according to sources.

So yeah, he’s basically on the run. Kimbella, come get your man.

Radio personality Danni Starr and all of the female personalities at 93.9 WKYS joined forces to take over “The Fam” morning show after Danni was ambushed. Radio One founder Cathey Hughes called in to show support and there are rumors that she suspended QuickSilva and DJ 5’9. Get it all inside…

It was all about the sisterhood on 93.9 WKYS Friday morning following all of the foolywang material from the previous day. In case you missed, Danni Starr’s "The Fam" co-hosts, QuickSilva and DJ 5’9, ambushed her on air, which resulted in Danni storming out of the studio and seemingly quiting.

But, there was a different atmosphere on Friday....

The station got all of the female personalities, including Angie Ange, Deja Perez, Bacon Bear and Dominique Da Diva, to join Danni Starr Friday morning to host “The Fam,” WITHOUT QuickSilva and 5’9. It was a total woman empowerment love fest as Danni was able to speak directly to the people about the entire situation.

After the embarrassment her co-hosts put her through, she still seems to have a forgiving heart and wants to put it all behind her and move forward with her morning show co-hosts.

“At the end of the day, I’m only human myself,” she said during the morning show. “Forgiveness is about my mental health and I forgive everybody. We are all human. We all make mistakes. This is a moment for growth.”

Showing Danni support, Cathy Hughes, founder and chairperson of Urban One Media (which houses Radio One), called into the radio station (that's under the Radio One umbrella) to praise Danni for keeping her composure during the ambush. She said WKYS is not going to be the ones acting “ignorant” and “crazy” for ratings. “We’ll leave that to the politicians,” she said.

Ms. Hughes also talked about respect, equality, and being a woman in the workplace.

Since the guys were absent Friday morning, there are rumors that Cathy Hughes has temporarily suspended both Silva and 5'9. We're not sure for how long and it's also unclear on whether Danni will return alongside Silva and 5'9 for their morning show. However, Danni seems extra forgiving, so we wouldn't be surprised if she returned alongsside her co-hosts.

Lisa Bonet opens up about Bill Cosby and how she and her fine a** husband Jason Momoa fell madly in love in the newest issue of Net-A-Porter’s THE EDIT. Get the deets inside…

“Cosby Show” alum Lisa Bonet doesn’t live in her life too much in the spotlight, however, we do get to see her on red carpets here and there and also out and about with her sexy husband Jason Momoa.

The 50-year-old actress is speaking out about Bill Cosby for the first time since all of the sexual assault allegations were brought to light. Lisa has remained mum about her on-screen father whom she worked with for years on “The Cosby Show” and “A Different World.”

Featured on the cover of Net-A-Porter’s newest issue of THE EDIT, Lisa claims she didn’t have any knowledge of Cosby’s alleged behavior and if she did, she would have BEEN said something. She also says Bill always had some “sinister, shadow energy” that always followed him around.

“There was no knowledge on my part about his specific actions, but… There was just energy,” she revealed. “And that type of sinister, shadow energy cannot be concealed.”

You sensed a darkness? “Always. And if I had anything more to reveal then it would have happened a long time ago. That’s my nature. The truth will set you free.”

Damn. That’s creepy.

Lisa got pregnant with her daughter Zoe Kravitz, whom she shares with rockstar Lenny Kravitz, at the age of 20 while she was still filming "The Cosby Show" and "A Different World" and that caused tension between her and Bill.

Not only that, she starred in the 1987 film Angel Heart where she acted out a controversial sex scene that really set Cosby off. He felt her role in the film tainted his squeaky-clean series, so he ended up firing her for “creative differences.”

Years later, the free spirit and Lenny ended up getting a divorce after 6 years of marriage. Then, in 2004, she met her now actor husband and father of her children, Jason Momoa. It was basically love at first sight.  You've seen that man.  So you understand.

“In that moment, love came and it came big, and he did not run as I think a lot of men do.” She laughs. “He basically picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, caveman style!” They’re a picture of happiness now. Lenny and Jason are friends, the kids are all tight, Thanksgiving is a big event at their house – Bonet’s two families getting along famously. “It’s fantastic. It’s full-on family love,” she says.

"What’s cool about Jason is that he’s an alpha male who stands for love and family. And to circle back to my own wounds, having an absent father, then to be fully met by a man of that stature, is really incredible. Jason embodies a rare form of masculinity in this day and age – he’s a leader; he’s generous. Just in terms of charisma, physique, the right use of power, responsibility, work ethic, you can go down the line.”

Chadwick Boseman and the Black Panther cast can adjust their crowns to stand even taller today.  The simply perfect Marvel flick just raked in $1 Billion globally!  And it only took 26 days.

Deadline said about the current #1 movie at the box office (for the fourth week in a row, beating out Wrinkle In Time in its opening weekend):

The film is at $531M domestic and is crossing $500M at the international box office this weekend, bolstered by a strong start in China where it’s now at about $49M after two days.

...

Black Panther is also the No. 9 movie of all time domestically and will this frame become the No. 2 superhero movie ever, passing The Dark Knight.

Somebody has threatened to kill Kimora Lee Simmons, and now the police are involved.  Deets inside.

Kimora Lee Simmons was minding her business and was in give-back-to-the-community mode today when somebody issued a death threat against her in her movie theater.

According to TMZ, while she was in a Cinemark in LA taking orginizations of South Central area kids to see A Wrinke In Time, a bizarre message was scribbled on a theater bathroom stall.  It was directed at Kimora, and was life-threatening enough to spark someone to call the cops:

"The 911 caller told the cops they found a threat directed at Kimora that read "your going to die, bye bye, 3/10/18, today" scribbled inside a stall. It's unclear who discovered the message and alerted the police."

It's unclear if Kimora left the theater or stayed after the message was discovered.  Guard ya neck, chick!

Phor, bruh.  What is you doin'?!  Deets on his latest arrest inside...

"Black Ink: Chicago" star and rapper Phor Everim is in lock up in Indiana after getting arrested before hitting up a club last week.

While his Mercedes limo van rolled around Gary, there was reportedly tons of moke and loud music rolling out of the windows.  Of course, this caught cops' attention.  And they had questions.

According to the police report, the driver basically snitched about having a celebrity in the back.  Cops had zero F's to give about that fact and arrested everybody, especially since said driver had no license or registration for the vehicle.  TMZ reports:

The driver told the cop they were heading to a club in Gary, about 25 miles from Chicago, and said ... "Look bro, I have a celebrity in the back."

Unfortunately for Phor's crew, the cop didn't care, because the driver allegedly didn't have ID or registration for the vehicle and it stunk like weed ... so they were all taken into custody for weed-related offenses.

Sterling K. Brown brought the heat for his hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live” last night. And he BROUGHT it. Peep the highlights inside…

Sterling K. Brown made his debut as this week's “Saturday Night Live” host and he killed it. We didn’t expect anything less from the EMMY, Golden Globe and SAG Award winner, especially since he has a theater background.

The “This Is Us,” actor  started with a strong opening monologue that was quite funny. First, he revealed what the “K” in his name stands for. Apparently, it stands for “Kathleen.” Ha! Who knew?

Being an actor means you have to wear your heart on your sleeve, especially starring in one of the most emotional shows on television, “This Is Us.” During his monologue, he kept getting choked up over the excitement of hosting the late night comedy sketch show. He flexes his acting talents where he would get super emotional at the drop of a dime.

Oh, and he does a Kenan Thompson impersonation to perfection.

With Sterling K. Brown as host, OF COURSE there was a “This Is Us” sketch. And, OF COURSE, they made it crazy as hell with a political spin. The skit, called “This Is U.S.,” features Sterling as Dr. Ben Carson as the promo promises “there will be hella crying.”

In another skit, Sterling reenacts a “deleted” scene from the box office slayer Black Panther, which he stars in. Sterling and Leslie Jones play T’Challa’s (Chris Redd) ancestors where they welcome him in the “astral realm of the ancestors.” That’s where he will meet the royal family “even those who married into it.”

Kenan Thompson steals the scene as Uncle M’Butu, who’s obviously an in-law, acting like that one crazy uncle we all have in our family. Peep the skit below:

There’s a “black-ish” episode ABC doesn’t want you to see. Find out why, plus why “Stranger Things” may end earlier than expected…

It’s hard to believe ABC is censoring one of its most socially conscious shows, “black-ish” after three successful seasons. But, the day has come.

Apparently, show runner Kenya Barris created an episode, set to air February 27th that was too real for ABC, so they collectively decided to pull the episode over “creative differences” between the network and the show runner.

According to Variety, the episode titled “Please, Baby, Please” was set to air February 27th, featuring Anthony Anderson’s character Dre trying to get his infant son to sleep during an intense thunderstorm that kept the entire family awake. Dre attempts to read the baby a bedtime story, but ditches the plan when the baby keeps crying. He then began to improvise a bedtime story that touched on many of Dre’s concerns about the current state of the country.

The episode covers several political and social issues, one of them being an argument between Dre and his oldest son Junior (Marcus Scribner) over whether athletes should kneel during the national anthem at football games.

“Given our creative difference, neither ABC nor I were happy with the direction of the episode and mutually agreed not to air it,” Kenya said in a statement to Variety. “’black-ish’ is a show that has spoken to all different types of people and brought them closer as a community and I’m so proud of the series,” he continued.

“One of the things that has always made ‘black-ish’ so special is how it deftly examines delicate social issues in a way that simultaneously entertains and educates. However, on this episode there were creative differences we were unable to resolve,” an ABC spokesperson told Variety.

On February 22nd, five days before the show was set to air, ABC announced the episode would be replaced with a rerun, but did not give any additional details as to why at the time.

We wonder if ABC decided to pull the plug on the episode about professional athletes players kneeling during the national anthem due to the fact that the network airs NBA games often, and folks at the time were wondering if the kneeling would also happen in the NBA.

Also, ABC is owned by Disney and they are a partner of the NFL (via ESPN), so we're sure they don't want an episode airing bashing the NFL.

Sounds like they don't want the political dialogue to mess up their cash flow.

What’s more is that the “Rosanne” reboot is about to premiere and its going to be full force pro-Trump foolery...with a black child thrown in the mix. Hmph.

Michael Harriot, a writer at The Root, wrote an open letter addressed to Kenya Barris BEGGING him to "leak" the episode for the culture.  We guess those types of plitics are OK though.

Here's some of what he said below:

Dear Mr. Barris:

I bring you greetings from Dem Cut Boyz barbershop in Birmingham, Ala. where the honorable Lamont Brinson is my barber. I send this letter after a delegation from my haircuttery elected me to speak on their behalf, and presumably, for all of our people.

Yesterday, during our busiest time of the day, we hosted a discussion about the recent Variety article revealing that the February 27 installment of Black-ish entitled “Please, Baby, Please” had been shelved and replaced with a re-run. According to the report, the episode was canned because it dealt with the NFL kneeling issue and other political and social issues. We wanted to speak directly to you, Mr. Barris, because you are the creator of the show.

When we read that the episode featured Anthony Anderson’s character Dre telling a bedtime story about his fears and concerns over the state of the country, we all agreed that it was a brilliant idea. We all realize we that America can only accept black truths if the revelations are embedded in dream sequences, superhero movie overtones or set to a beat that causes Caucasians to dance.

After an emergency meeting using Roberts Rules of Order (Robert is one of our barbers who a struggles with the bald fade, but he keeps very good order) we passed a motion passed to ask you for one favor:

You have to leak the episode, bruh.

I’m sure you know that any request punctuated with the word “bruh” is very serious. We even took into account your quote in the article when you said: “Given our creative differences, neither ABC nor I were happy with the direction of the episode and mutually agreed not to air it.”

Even though you directed the episode and the show is one of the highest-rated and most awarded comedies on network television, we know that “mutually agreed,” in black parlance, means: “These white folks made the decision,” We mutually agreed to pick cotton for 400 years. We “mutually agreed” to Jim Crow. We “mutually agreed” to systematic inequality. We are tired of mutual agreements.

We are not asking you to do anything illegal or even immoral. We would never ask you to violate your contract because we need more seasons of Black-ish.

As such, here is our offer:

Dem Cut Boyz barbershop offers free haircuts for life to Mr. Kenya Barris. During one of your appointments, I predict that you will fall asleep during a hot shave. Somehow, LaTrice Briscoe’s bad-ass son, Deonte, will somehow “find” the DVD or flash drive with the “Please, Baby, Please” episode in your pocket. (Trust me, lil’ Deonte is good at finding shit in people’s pockets.)

The episode will somehow end up being uploaded to YouTube, Facebook and Black America’s favorite streaming service: World Star Hip Hop. I’m not saying this was planned. I’m just saying...

“Stranger Things” creators/brother Ross and Matt Duffer are speaking out after they were accused by a crewmember of verbally abusing women on the set. The duo issued a statement saying they were “deeply upset” by the allegations. While they did say that sometimes tempers can flare on the set, they always treat everyone fairly regardless of who they are.

“We are deeply upset to learn that someone felt uncomfortable on our set. Due to the high-stress nature of production, tempers occasionally get frayed, and for that, we apologize. However, we think it is important not to mischaracterize our set, where we believe strongly in treating everyone fairly regardless of gender, orientation, race, religion, or anything else. We remain totally committed to providing a safe and collaborative working environment for everyone on our productions.”

Following their statement, Netflix followed up with a statement addressing the claims.

“We looked into the concern that was raised when we heard of the allegation on Thursday, and found no wrongdoing. Maintaining a safe, respectful atmosphere on set is important to us, and we know it is to the Duffer Brothers as well.”

So here’s what allegedly went down…

Crew member Peyton Brown hopped on Instagram to blast the Duffer Brothers for allegedly seeking out and verbally abusing multiple women on set. And she posted it on International Women’s Day. She said she would NOT be returning to work on Season 3 because of their actions.

“I personally witnessed two men in high positions of power on that set seek out and verbally abuse multiple women,” she wrote in the Instagram post. “I promised myself that if I were ever in a situation to say something that I would. I have 11.5 thousand followers who can hear me say this, TIME IS UP,” she continued.

She said the Duffer Brothers yelled often on the set and would also issue threats to the crew, which in turn caused several crew members to quit.

In the post, she didn’t name the Duffer Brothers, however, she did confirm she was talking about them when responding to commenter.
