Apple Sauce-Obsessed Diddy Speaks On Jay-Z's Infidelity Album & Why Bey’s LEMONADE Shocked Him, Tells Everyone To 'Get Over' Janet Jackson's Nipplegate

Diddy rolled up to the clubhouse to dish on Jay Z and Beyonce’s albums about infidelity, why everyone needs to get over Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl nipplegate incident and more. Get it all inside….

Diddy is currently making promo rounds for his new show “The Four,” making at stop at the clubhouse to chat it up with host Andy Cohen about a plethora of topics.

Of course music was on the agenda.

The Hip Hop mogul offered up his thoughts about on his friend Jay Z’s most recent album, 4:44, and what he thought about Hov being so vulnerable about past infidelities on the LP.

“That’s what music gives you the power to do, and I think that once you’re ready to share with your fans and the world, nobody can judge you. I thought it was dope,” he said about Hov’s 4:44 album.

However, Beyonce’s LEMONADE album totally shocked him just like it did everyone else.

“I was surprised about Lemonade. I just didn’t see it coming... I think it was genius, and I think Beyonce did a great job and she tackled something that a lot of women have had to go through and also Jay on the other side. He did what he had to do, and most importantly, their family stayed tight and together and they were able to weather the storm. And that’s a shining example of a couple that stays together through the good and the bad.”

He also revealed he has met The Carter Twins, Sir and Rumi.

“They’re gorgeous. They’re special,” he said gushed. “It’s the perfect fusion and combination of the two, of Jay and Beyonce, and they just have a beautiful, beautiful family.”

Check it:

The Sean John honcho also had some words for those who still aren’t over Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s nipplegate scandal that went down at the 2004 Super Bowl. First, he shared he's upset folks forgot he actually performed during that Super Bowl with Janet and Justin. As far as Janet goes, he said everyone just needs to get over it.

Peep the clip below:

The Hip Hop mogul also shared his thoughts about Oprah running for president:

Black Hollywood just killed it with the Oscar nominations, and made all kinds of history while doing so.  See who you'll be rooting for at the upcoming 90th annual Academy Awards inside...

Get Out just did exacty what we thought it would, and got exactly what it deserved.  A whopping 4 nominations total, for both acting and the movie itself!

Major congrats are in order for SAG Award winner Daniel Kaluuya who nabbed a Best Actor nomination.  The 28-year-old makes history as the youngest black male to ever be nominated in the category.  Woot!

Fellow SAG Award nominee and Critics' Choice Awards winner Jordan Peele nabbed a nomination for Directing, as well as for his screenplay writing skills.  With those nods, the comedian makes history as only the 4th African American to nab an Original Screenplay nomination, the 5th black male Best Director nominee and the first African American to be a TRIPLE nominee at the Oscars (Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay).

The fellas are literally in tears about this huge feat, and rightfully so.  Jordan wrote:

Let it out, guys!  You deserve it all.

 photo MaryJBlige24thAnnualScreenActorsGuildSfeuH1jtO63l_zps30de9pf4.jpg

Mary J. Blige is officiall a double Oscar nominee!  Look how the Lordt rewards you for dropping dead weight and making it through the storm. #Testimony

The actress & singer is a Best Supporting Actress nominee for her role in Mudbound, and also nabbed a Best Original Song nomination for "Mighty River" from the film. This makes her the first person, period, ever to be nominated for a performance and original song in the same year, for the same film. *Bops into Mary J's dancery to celebrate*

This also means her co-writers Raphael Saadiq and Taura Stinson are also Best Orignal Song nominees.  Woot!

 photo DeeReesMaryJBligeHonoredStarHollywoodhiSqz6kWJY-l_zpshwi0hmvc.jpg

The Mudbound flick also nabbed a Best Adapted Screenplay nomination, which means the fabulous Dee Rees (along with Virgil Williams) can add Oscar Nominated Writer to their resumés.  Dee is now the first African American woman to be nominated in the category.  Yessss!

 photo OctaviaSpencer23rdAnnualCriticsChoiceqG9EpasNqfil_zpsfb8so4y6.jpg

Octavia Spencer now ties Viola Davis at THREE Oscar nominations, the most for any African American actress!  The Mudbound star will be battling it out with MJB in the Best Supporting Actress category.  Congrats!

Her movie, The Shape of Water, leads in nominations with 13.  It is just one nod shy of an Oscar record.

 photo DenzelWashington89thAnnualAcademyAwardsAdcJjc4QZBjl_zpsb9jzhcll.jpg

Denzel!  The decorated actor just nabbed his 9th overall Academy Award nomination! The Roman J. Israel, Esq. star is nominated for Best Director, and this is his 6th time in the category.  Come thru, black excellence!

 photo CommonIMDbStudio2018SundanceFilmFestivalfqIJrSx-BcIl_zpsxdtwd7oi.jpg

Common is up for yet another Oscar!  The musician and actor, alongside Diane Warren, is nominated for Best Original Song for "Stand Up For Something" from the movie Marshall.  Woot!

And Kobe Bryant is officially an Academy Award nominee!  The future Hall of Famer's Dear Basketball poem turned animation was nominated in the Best Short Film (Animated) category.  He (rightfully) freaked out on Twtter saying:

In other news you can use, black film maker Kevin Wilson Jr. earned a Best Short Film (Live Action) nomination for his project, My Nephew Emmett.Yance Ford has also been nominated in the Best Documentary category for Strong Island.

We're totally rooting for everybody black.

The 90th Annual Academy Awards air live, March 4th, on at 8p EST on ABC.

BONUS: The hilarious Tiffany Haddish did the announcements this morning, and (kinda) made it through. There were no hard feelings though about her many mispronounciations:

Amara La Negra VS EVERYBODY! Cardi B’s Sister Hennessey Has STRONG Reaction To Amara Talking Colorism & Cardi B + Laz Alonzo & Charlamagne Hash Out All Their Colorism Views

$

 photo amara1.png

Amara La Negra’s interview with Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club” has everyone talking (and dragging) about colorism. Get the deets inside…

Amara La Negra has everyone talking after her sitdown with Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club.” She’s an Afro-Latina artist who has been making headlines over her colorism issue with her co-star Young Hollywood.  We're sure you remember. The "producer", who says afros cannot be elegant, told her to be "more Beyonce, less Macy Gray" and he also called her a Nutella Queen. Sighs...

We knew this Breakfast Club interview was going to be many things just by the way it started.

The first question Charlamagne tha God asked her was, “What are you? Racewise?”

 photo amara2.png

The Afro-rocking reality star replied she was Dominican and identified herself as an Afro-Latina. That’s when DJ Envy chimed in with what some are calling ignorance, asking her “What is Afro-Latina? I thought it was half-black and something else, half-Latina.”

He then brought up the issue, in his opinion, of Dominicans not really messing with blacks or Puerto Ricans.

However, Amara kept her cool and continued to explain why colorism is such a huge issue in the Latin community. Not only that, she mentioned her fellow Dominican artist Cardi B is accepted more because she has lighter skin.

Charlamagne said if there was really an issue with colorism in the Afro-Latina community, then how did Cardi B. "make it"?

Y’all know that ruffeled some feathers as well.

Peep the interview below:

Well, Cardi’s younger sister Hennessy caught wind of Amara’s remarks about the “Bodak Yellow” artist and decided to offer up a response. In a series of posts (that she took down), Hennessy explained that Cardi’s success has nothing to do with the color of the skin and everything to do with her talent.

Check out her explosive response below:

 photo amara3.jpg

 photo amara4.jpg

 photo amara5.jpg

 photo amara6.jpg

Seeing things were getting out of hand, Amara hopped in her comments to explain what she meant and that she wasn't coming for Cardi at all.  Simply pointing out that her skin tone very likely aided in people quickly accepting her, which aided in her come up (seeing that she's not the only Latina rapper who can also speak and rap in spanish in these streets).

 photo amara7.jpg

 photo amara8.png

Also....

Actor Laz Alonso, who identifies as Afro-Latino, also came to Amara’s defense in Charlamagne’s Instagram comments. He wrote:

“U my guy, but to question colorism in latin America because Cardi B made it is like questioning it in America because Will Smith did. The problem exists, turn on Telemundo, Univision, or look for any black women latin female artists on any latin awards shows. U won’t find them. The problem is worse in Latin America than it is here.”

Following an online exchange, Laz and Charlamagne spoke on the phone where they were both able to articulate themselves and explain what they meant exactly:

Had a great conversation with @cthagod about the effects of colonialism in Latin America and how it still creates tremendous racism and colorism in the images we see in latin entertainment. It was not a debate, it was a meeting of the minds as he truly wanted to gain a deeper understanding as to how deep the issue exists in the latin community both here in the U.S. and abroad. It was a great convo that will continue and I appreciate him for not being defensive from my comments earlier today, instead he displayed empathy and a willingness to learn. If u watch the entire interview u’ll see he admitted he had more to learn on the subject and was asking to learn. Mad respect to the brotha! As we deal with the lack of understanding about #afrolatinos or #blacklatins we should not forget the latin tv networks, films, awards shows and latin media that perpetuate this systemic ignorance and act as if darker skinned or latino’s of African descent don’t exist. Cuz let’s keep it 100, it took an American show #lhhmiami , to bring the issue to light, latin tv (as of now) looks the other way. Shoutout to @amaralanegraaln for representing! @breakfastclubam @loveandhiphop_miami

A post shared by Laz Alonso (@lazofficial) on

Well good for them for having a healthy conversation about an issue that clearly is a problem in most communities.

SZA has been busy doing shows and making apperances. The "Love Galore" singer, who's up for FIVE Grammy awards, chopped it up with Brian A. Hernandez onstage during the celebration of Mastercard's Start Something Priceless Campaign at the launch of the Mastercard House in NYC yesterday.

In other music "news"...

If J. Holiday was looking for another 15 minutes of fame, he sure found it.

Remember he’s the guy who sung “Bed” and hasn’t dropped any fire since like…2009. Yeah, him.

Anyhoo, he hopped on Instagram to make a video BASHING artists like Beyonce, SZA and Cardi B for making waves in the music industry. Why? Well, he wants these women to stop singing about their pain/personal experiences and calling it music. Yep, you read it right. He wants them to stop doing what the very essence of what music is. It’s all about expressing yourself through song right? Or nah? He claims pain doesn’t equal talent.

“Apparently the black men is still losing to the women,” he started. “I get it. I have absolute all respect for black women.”

“We don’t do all that bullsh*t to be seen. I got daughters man. Cardi, Beyonce, SZA, all y’all motherf*ckas stop using that f*cking pain to make it OK to say some bullshit on your record and get nominated for a Grammy for going through some bullsh*t. Because so have I as a black motherf*cking man," he continued.

Tell us why you’re really J. Holiday because this anger seems terribly misplaced. Instead of being mad at them for copping Grammy nominations, you should be concentrating on creating new music (that’s hot) so you could be nominated again. Is he still mad that he lost his only Grammy nomination to Mary J. Blige in 2009? Hmph.

Newlyweds Lisa Bonet & Jason Momoa On Parent Duty In NYC + Ciara & Russell Invite Family To Ride Disney World Roller Coaster & Future Hits Dance Moves

Newlyweds Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa dressed up in some...unique threads...for a lunch date with their kids in NYC. Meanwhile, Ciara, Russell Wilson and Future Wilburn are having loads of fun at Disney World in Orlando. Flicks and video inside…

Well, this is one way to go to lunch.

We’re not sure what look Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa, who secretly wed in October 2017, were going for, but they certainly stood out from the crowd in the milder than usual NYC weather. Vintage hobo chic?

The newlyweds were headed to a restaurant for lunch with their kids, Lola (10) and Nakoa-Wolf (9), before his late night TV show appearance on the “Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”

Jason took the kids to the "Saturday Night Live" set to play around before his appearance on "Jimmy Fallon."

During the interview, the 38-year-old hottie told the talk show host that starring on “Game of Thrones” almost ended his acting career. Why? Well, producers assumed he didn’t know how to speak English.

“It was very challenging," he said. "What do you do with Drogo? Like you’re not going to put him in a comedy … he’s pigeonholed, you know? I was bummed out… And then I met [comedian] Fred Armisen, my stepdaughter Zoe [Kravitz] did Portlandia, and he goes ‘I didn’t even know you spoke English’ – it was heartbreaking … That’s why I wasn’t getting any jobs!’

Ha.

Peep the clip below:

Another couple on parent duty...

Before Russell Wilson hits the field to play in the 2018 Pro Bowl in Orlando, he's getting in some quality time with his wife Ciara and step-son Future Wilburn. The Wilsons trekked it to Disney World for some fun and they got that and more.

Young Future joined a dance mob in the middle of the park with a few other kids and we see he's taking after his mother with those dance moves. He totally stole everyone's heart.

The original version of the song only featured a hook by Swae Lee. A new version (below) adds Swae Lee’s rap partner Slim Jxmmi, who drops some bars for the remix.

The Souled Out singer loves playing with different concepts for her video treatments and this one was no different. It even featured a plot twist at the end.

In another set of new visuals...

Xscape isn’t the only 90s girl group looking to make a comeback.

En Vogue is also returning to the music scene.

A month after releasing their new single “Rocket,” the iconic group join forces for the video treatment. They’re also serving up futuristic vibes in the Damien Sandoval-directed video, which was shot in the El Mirage dry lake bed in California.

“It was really exciting shooting the ‘Rocket’ video…perfect theme to enhance the song,” says founding member Cindy Herron-Braggs. “The look is futuristic meets sexy…a step into the future,” says member Terry Ellis. “It’s such a pleasure working with a director that’s not afraid to come up with a concept that’s outside of the box and pays tribute to the music,” says member Rhona Bennett.

"Rocket," written by Ne-Yo and produced by Curtis “Sauce” Wilson, is the official single from the forthcoming album, Electric Cafe.

Their new album will feature a guest appearances by Snoop Dogg ("Have A Seat"), with production from Raphael Saadiq, Dem Jointz, and longtime En Vogue producers Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy.

After initially denying reports of a deep relationship that's on the brink of marriage, Sheree Whitfield has decided she can't hide her love for her prison bae any longer.  She recently dished on the perks of having a prison romance.  You gotta see it inside.

This season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" has been filled with a new marriage, newly single Housewives and a new prison bae.

Sheree has been letting the viewers in on her and incarcerated boyfriend Tyrone Gilliam's deep phone convos about their relationship and day to day life.  Sheree says they speak many times a day (like on the most recent episode she kicked off the convo with "what are you up to?").

Tyrone is currently in prison for fraud conviction(s), and Sheree's co-stars aren't letting that fact go.  At all.

She and NeNe Leakes got into an argument on a recent episode when she called Tyrone a con-artist, and Sheree threw NeNe's own track record of mugshots back in her face.  NeNe then created and posed in several shirts from her store that now bear pics of her mugshots.

Sheree recently told Page Six her and Tyrone's relationship is "cute" and "romantic" and their love letters back and forth are "like a love story."

She also revealed what they would do as soon as he gets out.  Her kids might want to cover their ears.

Toni Braxton and Birdman may have actually tied the knot, or at least engaged, because she’s rocking a big a** diamond ring on THAT finger. And she’s not the only Braxton who has found love. Trina Braxton has a new boo too. Pics of that ring and more inside…

Maybe Tamar Braxton was right when she said Toni Braxton tied the knot to her boyfriend Birdman. Remember, she spilled that tea during the 2017 Soul Train Awards (where Toni was honored).

Last night, the “Unbreak My Heart” singer added even more fuel to the marriage rumors.

The 50-year-old rolled up on the red carpet for the premiere of her new LIFETIME movie, Faith Under Fire: The Antoinette Tuff Story, at NeueHouse Madison Square in NYC. And chick was turning heads as she posed it up for a few lovey dovey flicks with her beau while flossing a GIANT diamond ring on her ring finger.

Show it off then Toni.

When Birdman joined her, she was over the moon.

No need to hide it Toni. We already seen it, girl. Both the singer and rapper have remained mum about their relationship, so it's unclear if they're actually married, but that ring surely looks like marital gifts.

Also on the carpet...

Toni's co-stars Yaya DaCosta and Malik Yoba hit the carpet before the screening.

Then, everyone involved with the TV film came out for a group shot, including the real Antoinette Tuff (in blue).

Faith Under Fire premieres this Saturday, January 27th at 8/7c on LIFETIME.

Toni isn't the only Braxton sister all wrapped up in love these days...

Fetty Wap Confirms Baby #7 Is On The Way, Says All His Kids Are Well Taken Care of Because He’s ‘Wealthy’ + Tyga Defends Album Cover, ‘It’s Art’

Fetty Wap confirms he’s a father of 6 with 1 on the way. And if you’re worried about how he can afford them all, don’t. He says he’s “wealthy” enough to take care of them all. Also, Tyga is defending his lewd album coverart. More inside…

Fetty Wap had time the other day and decided to set the record straight on social media in regards to his children.

Apparently, a commenter on Instagram made a comment about him affording his children (with 6 different women) and Fetty popped back!

The 27-year-old (pictured above with his daughter Khari, whom he shares with Masika Kalysha) said he’s currently awaiting the arrival of his 7th child, a son, and he’ll be taken care of just like his other 6. His daughter’s mom Lezhae Zeona is currently pregnant with his son, so we assume he’s referring to her pregnancy. (You just never know with Fetty).

The reason folks shouldn’t worry about him and how many babies he makes is because he’s “wealthy” not rich with 22 million on him. Oh?

“Actually, my son is on the way so it’ll be 7 at 27 with 22 million,” he wrote. “So yeah, I think my odds are better than your boyfriends; and all my kids’ moms have moved on and living their life. They allow me to be a dad to my kids.”

“I’m fortunate enough to have been smart enough to invest my money so my kids will have money when I’m gone.” Fetty concluded his small rant by telling fans that he would not broach the subject of his kids and ability to support them again. “Understand,” he wrote, “I’m not rich. I’m wealthy.”

Well alright.

The "Trap Queen" rapper became a father of 6 when “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star Alexis Skyy gave birth to their daughter prematurely. Good luck with all that Fetty.

Another rapper speaking out...

About that new album cover....

Tyga doesn't care if you hate it or thought it was disrespectful. In his eyes, the coverart for his upcoming album, KYOTO, is art. When he posted it, folks went bananas in his comments section. Now, he's responding.

Photogs ran into the "Rack City" rapper leaving Prada on Rodeo Drive to ask him about the piece and he defended it until the end.

Here's the piece:

Now, listen to what he said about the cover above.

Thoughts?

Woman Claims Tyler Perry Is Her Husband & He ‘Stole’ Her Eggs + Questlove Is Being Sued Over Racial Discrimination Drama At NBC

Apparently, Tyler Perry has a wife none of us knew about and she claims he's raising her son with her "stolen" eggs. Sighs...

Meanwhile, Questlove is being sued after he allegedly had "Tonight Show" staffers fired over racist text. Get it all inside...

We can’t even make this ish up.

A woman will be appearing on the “Dr. Phil Show” making claims that highly successful filmmaker Tyler Perry is her husband. Oh? Does he know this? Because last we heard, he had a girlfriend named Gelila and they welcomed a baby a few years ago.

Oh, and it gets…worse.

Not only is she claiming that the Madea creator is her husband, she also claims Tyler STOLE her eggs and is currently raising her son. Chile…

Dr. Phil asked her, “How did someone get eggs out of your body?”

“I don’t know. Tyler knows,” she responded.

And she was deada**.

Peep the clip below:

Really girl? Are you itching for your 15 minutes of fame that badly? Or, is there some chemical imbalance in the brain because this sounds ridiculous. Hopefully Dr. Phil can help.

This episode is expected to air sometime next month. Exactly what we need to kick off Black History Month. /sarcasm

In other news....

Questlove is celebrating the fact that his Philadelphia Eagles are going to the Super Bowl. But, he's likely pissed off about this new lawsuit brought against him.

According to reports, two white NBC cameramen, who worked on the “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” have filed a $2 million lawsuit against the Roots frontman for pressuring NBC execs to have them fired. Why did he have them fired, might you ask? Apparently, a racist text message was sent and it involves the cameramen, Kurt Decker and Michael Cimino, over the summer.

According to Page Six, the alleged unsolicited text - sent by a “Tonight Show” stagehand - included “a piece of fried chicken with a bite out of it along with a racial slur that inevitably depicts African Americans,” along with racial slurs . The text was also sent to one of the Roots' bandmates, Mark Kelley, in addition to the cameramen.

The Blast has a few details about the lawsuit:

Decker and Cimino claim they did not respond to the message and later reported it to Keith McPhee (a manager of The Roots) and Bryon King, a technical production manager at NBC.

The two men claim there were both immediately suspended, but Kelley was not.

A seven-week investigation ensued and, they claim, Questlove “pressured NBC to fire all of the Caucasian employees involved in the incident.”

They also claim Questlove demanded Kelley receive no discipline.

Decker and Cimino believe this incident follows a pattern of behavior by NBC with regards to “reporting requirements in other circumstances of wrongful conduct.”

Sources close to NBC claim the plaintiffs failed to report the inappropriate text, which is policy at the network.

A spokeswoman for NBC tells Page Six: “We have strong policies in place that protect against discrimination in any form. The decision about these plaintiffs was the company’s alone.”

Questlove is also speaking out via his rep, stating:

“Questlove denies the ridiculous allegations made in this lawsuit,” Carleen Donovan said. “Racism is REAL and exists throughout the world and for these gentlemen to claim victim is not only disrespectful to Questlove and his band mates, but to all that truly endure racism on a daily basis. As NBC already stated, the decisions made regarding these employees were made by NBC, alone.”

Hmm...do you think this will stick in court? We don't. Questlove didn't do the firing, so their real beef should be with NBC.

Mo'Nique Comes For Sheryl Underwood (Again) Over Pay Equality Talk, Tears Up While Defending Her Husband Sidney

Mo'Nique has plenty more to say about her Netflix boycott, and she's calling folks out like Sheryl Underwood for acting like she can't relate to the pay gap involving black female comedians.  Plus, she and her husband Sidney Hicks get quite emotional over the whole situation on their podcast.  See it all inside...

Earlier this week, comedian Sheryl Underwood spoke on (frenemy?) fellow comedian Mo'Nique's call for pay equality.

Mo is indeed causing a stir amongst the masses by accusing Netflix of gender and racial bias when it comes to salaries offered for their Netflix specials. Mo says Oh Damn Well, especially since Amy Schumer didn't seem to ruffle feathers when she brought up the fact she was lowballed....with an $11M offer.

After Mo'Nique blasted Netflix for their $500K offer to her and offered up arguments as to why this was unfair (as well as called out Tyler Perry, Oprah and Lee Daniels again for contributing to her blackballing in the industry), her Queens of Comedy sister Sheryl Underwood responded.

“I do not recollect ever asking her to take less money, especially if she felt she was violated. What I asked her to do and what I was hoping that she would do, was to talk to Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Lee Daniels...Now she may not agree with me but what I do commend her for now is having the discussion that will hopefully open the door to solving this racial and gender inequity problem that we see.”

Mo'Nique had a response for her this morning, and she wants to come on "The Talk" to discuss:

@sherylunderwood. I am right here. LETS TALK. I LOOK FORWARD TO IT. Luv y'all 2 life

A post shared by Mo'nique (@therealmoworldwide) on

Mo and Sidney hot an episode of their "Open Relationship" podcast mostly, if not all, dedicated to the Netflix issue.  And they take everybody to task - claiming Oprah never stood up specifically for black women and black people pick and choose who they stand behind.  Sidney got emotional, and she defended her man.

Here’s What Happened To The Man Who Viciously Attacked Comedian Steve Brown + Russell Simmons Hit With Another Sexual Assault Lawsuit & It’s For Millions

The man who physically attacked comedian Steve Brown during his comedy show has been caught and arrested on several assault charges. Get the latest, plus get details about the new sexual assault lawsuit brought against Russell Simmons inside…

A show in Columbia, SC last weekend turned into a nightmare for comedian Steve Brown (above).

The comedian ended up being viciously attacked onstage during his stand-up routine by an audience member named Marvin Toatley. According to Steve, the man was laughing and actually enjoying the show before ish went left. Steve said he witnessed the man get into an argument with his girlfriend in the audience before the man ended up slapping her in the face. Steve asked him "What’s wrong?" and that’s when the man jumped on stage to attack him.

Check it:

That’s so crazy.

Now, the attacker is behind bars.

Marvin Toatley was reportedly arrested Wednesday morning (January 24th), according to Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott. He was brought up on three counts, including assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, one count of assault and battery third degree, and one count of malicious injury to property, according to The Blast.

And here’s his mugshot:

While he wasn't seriously injured, Steve did suffer one injury - a gash on the back of his arm when the man hit him with the mic stand. See it below:

TMZ asked Steve if he was going to press charges. At first, he said he didn't know if he would. Then, when he was reminded the man slapped his girlfriend, he said he would be pressing charges.

Peep the clip below:

Despite the violent altercation, Steve seems to be in good spirits. He's still cracking jokes on Instagram and even reposting roast videos of the fight.

In more legal woes...

Russell Simmons is currently being investigated by the NYPD over rape and sexual assault allegations. Now, he’s being sued.

An aspiring filmmaker, named Jennifer Jarosik, pulled the trigger on a $5 million lawsuit against the Hip Hop mogul in the U.S. District Court in Central California making claims Russell raped her inside of his Beverly Hills home.

Jennifer said she first met the Def Jam founder in NYC in 2006 where they connected over “love and passion for mediation, yoga and a vegan diet.” She was working on a new documentary and Russell agreed to appear in it. Not only that, he also offered to finance and co-produce the project, which was titled “Goddesses.”

Fast forward 10 years later, Jennifer moves to LA. She said Russell invited her to his home in August 2016 and that’s when the attack occurred.

The Blast reports:

Jarosik says Simmons “got aggressive” and pushed her onto his bed. She claims while trying to keep Simmons away from her, he knocked her off his bed and she hit her head. While still in “shock and fear,” Jarosik claims Simmons “pounced on her” and “proceeded to rape her.”

Jarosik claims to have disclosed the incident to a few friends, but “felt somehow it was partially her fault since she was not strong enough to resist.” She says that after other women began coming forward with similar stories of assault and harassment by the mogul, she contacted him. Simmons allegedly “pretended it never happened” when contacted by Jarosik. In the documents, Simmons is also accused of contributing to the “sexual exploitation of women” in hip-hop, and states that Jarosik hopes the “Hip Hop industry faces the music and recognizes that the deep-rooted history of misogyny and discrimination against women in the music industry has come to an end, now.” Jarosik is seeking $5,000,000 in damages.

Her formidable attorney, Perry Wander, says “Mr. Simmons practices meditation, yoga and is a long time vegan practicing non violence against animals. So basically he treats animals better than women. The hypocrisy has to stop now.” As if to add one more dig against Simmons … “#TimesUp” is written in bold at the end of several pages of the lawsuit.

She’s clearly sending a message she’s not messing around.

The lawsuit also claims that Russell “has historically thrived on the sexual exploitation of young women trying to break into the entertainment and music industry, in which young female artists are falsely promised opportunities and advancement by experienced and well-established men in power in the industry, with their careers in jeopardy if they resist the sexual overtures of these powerful men.”

Since these sex allegations were brought to light against the Hip Hop mogul, he has always claimed his innocence. The father -of-two even offered to take a polygraph test in one of the cases.

He issued a statement addressing the $5 million lawsuit, telling Rolling Stone:

This allegation is absolutely untrue. I look forward to having my day in court - where, unlike the court of public opinion, I will have the ability to make use of fair processes that ensure that justice will be done and that the full truth will be known. In the meantime, please understand that I will not litigate this matter in the media. I am confident that when all is said and all is done, it will be as clear to others as it is to me that I did not do what this lawsuit accuses me of doing.

These horrific accusations have shocked me to my core and all of my relations have been consensual. I am blessed to have shared extraordinary relationships, whether through work or love, with many great women; and I have enormous respect for the women’s movement worldwide and their struggle for respect, dignity, equality and power. I am devastated by any reason I may have given to anyone to say or think of me in the ways that are currently being described. In recent weeks, some former business, creative and romantic partners have aired grievances as claims I categorically reject. In some of these instances, financial motives and direct contradictory witness testimony has been supplied to the media, which has been completely left out of stories. The current allegations range from the patently untrue to the frivolous and hurtful. The presumption of innocent until proven guilty must not be replaced by “Guilty by Accusation.”

I have already apologized for the instances of thoughtlessness in my consensual relations. I have separated myself from my businesses and charities in order to not become a distraction. I have re-dedicated myself to spiritual learning, healing and working on behalf of the communities to which I have devoted my life. I have accepted that I can and should get dirt on my sleeves if it means witnessing the birth of a new consciousness about women. What I will not accept is responsibility for what I have not done. I have conducted my life with a message of peace and love. Although I have been candid about how I have lived in books and interviews detailing my flaws, I will relentlessly fight against any untruthful character assassination that paints me as a man of violence.

At this point, about 14 women have come forward with sexual assault accusations against Russell. One woman said Russell sexually assaulted her in the 90s when she was 17-years-old and Brett Ratner watched.

It’s unclear if this woman was included in one of the women coming forward or not.

Jennifer Hudson To Ex-David Otunga – ‘GET A JOB!’ + Jill Scott’s Husband Reportedly Wants Prenup Thrown Out, Half Her Earnings & More

$

Chile, these soon-to-be ex-husbands of powerful women are something else. Singers Jennifer Hudson and Jill Scott are going through it. Get the latest on their pending divorces inside…

Maybe “marrying down” (others' people term, not ours, miss us with the hate comments) isn’t the best thing when there’s a breakup. And these two singing divas are feeling the wrath.

Jennifer Hudson is fed up with her estranged fiance David Otunga. And with good reason.

She wants him to get a JOB while they continue working out the custody kinks in court. You’ll recall, David was granted temporary custody of their son David Jr. due to the fact that the “Spotlight” singer has traveling a lot for work. The award winning actress/singer also had a restraining order against her ex, but eventually dropped it.

The Blast got ahold of court documents that say JHud plans to file a motion to force David to “seek employment” and “maintain a job diary.” It’s reported she will not file the motions publicly, however she will present them to the judge later this month. Not only that, she’s also seeking an order to seal their case.

It shouldn’t be too hard for the former WWE star to find work. He reportedly has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and he once worked at Columbia University’s Cognitive Neuroscience Center. He also graduated from Harvard Law School and even passed the bar in Illinois. Better start that job search!

And there’s more….

In another filing, “The Voice UK” judge is gunning to have David’s motion to have her sanctioned for being in contempt of court tossed out.

David isn't the only one on some f*** ish...

Jill Scott’s estranged husband Mike Dobson must have fell and bumped his whole head with all these divorce demands.

You’ll recall, the “Golden” singer filed for divorce in September 2017 after 15 months of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper.”

After the filing, Mike did an interview, calling Jill “evil” and controlling. Now, he wants her to pay up!

According to Bossip, Mike wants the prenup thrown out. Why? Well he claims he was pressured into signing and that he did not have an attorney there on his behalf. He claims the prenup is invalid because he signed it under duress and without a lawyer.

During their marriage, Mike said Jill treated him poorly (more like an employee), went out on dates with “intimate male friends,” and one day she put all of his things out in the garage and changed the locks. Bloop.

For all his “pain and suffering” he endured throughout the 15-month marriage, he wants $500,000. He also feels he’s entitled to HALF of their marital assets, wants her to pay his lawyer fees and he’s asking that Jill be ordered to NOT speak about their divorce to the media. Luckily, they didn’t have any children together.

Jemele Hill Is Leaving ‘SC6’ For Digital, But Was It REALLY Her Decision? + Ryan Cameron Leaves V103 After 18 Years, Makes Career Change

$

 photo jemeleryan.jpg

“SporstCenter” analyst Jemele Hill is leaving for a digital platform, but is there more to the story? Meanwhile, V103 radio host Ryan Cameron is making a huge career change. Deets inside…

 photo jemelesleave.jpg

In news we don’t want to believe to be true (but it is), “SC6” anchor Jemele Hill will reportedly be leaving the show after one year. She’ll be taking her talents to ESPN’s digital platform, “The Undefeated.” Sources tell THR Friday, February 2nd will be her last day.

The news comes just days shy of the show’s one-year anniversary after the 42-year-old evening anchor was tapped to co-host in February 2017 with her former “His & Hers” podcast co-host, Michael Smith. As of now, Michael will host the show on his own.

Of course, they’re saying ratings weren’t the best, but one can’t help but wonder if her “leaving” was forced. How you say? Well, you know she caught some heat and was suspended for a week in October 2017 for basically stating facts about Trump (she called him a white suprmist) on her own Twitter account.

We’re not putting words in her mouth, but we wonder if she asked for the switch because its possible that the “SC6” producers and execs could have made her life hell enough to force her out. We mentioned this when they suspened her. Remeber when they tried to get her off the air previously, but no other host would take the gig? Hmph. And the White House obviously didn't have any important business because they had time to call for the firing of Jemele.

They knew if they fired her over her anti-Trump tweets there would be backlash, so its possible. We’re baffled why she would leave a program that was rebranded specifically for her and Michael one year after it debuted.

What do you think is the real reason for the switch?

For another career change...

 photo ryanleave.jpg

Atlanta residents are likely not happy about this one, especially early morning commuters.

After a collective 18 years with V103 and 6 years doing his morning show, V103 radio host Ryan Cameron has decided to leave the station to pursue a new career. The 52-year-old will be embarking on something totally different than a radio host. Ryan has signed up as a partner at a new Atlanta-based branding firm called Rakanter.

“I have done everything I can in this field,” he told listeners this morning. “It’s time for another chapter in my life. What I need to do is better myself. I’ve been presented an opportunity to do something a lot of people of color aren’t able to do. That is being brought in on the ground level of a very successful business as a partner. Not an employee but a partner.”

Not mad at that!

The AJC reports:

Rakanter founder Peter Sorckoff was former creative content officer for the Atlanta Hawks, where Cameron has been the long-time game announcer. Sorckoff approached Cameron with this opportunity last year, a chance for the Atlanta native to go in a different career direction, a direction that will enable him to work with major brands such as AT&T, Coca Cola, the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Jets and the Australian rugby team.

He announced his last day is February 2nd.

Nope! Oprah will not be running for president. Find out why she said she will not be running AND get into Vanity Fair’s photoshop fail involving Oprah’s hands and more.

Also, Tiffany Haddish just inked a first-look deal with HBO through her production company. Everything inside…

Oprah had the rumor mill in overdrive when she delivered her acceptance speech after being honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards earlier this month. It was all good. So good, folks were pondering if the businesswoman was considering a 2020 presidential run.

However, Lady O running for president is not happening in this lifetime. Her bestie Gayle King already told us she had no plans on running. Now, she’s addressing the rumors herself.

The media mogul graces the cover of InStyle magazine’s March 2018 issue, styling in a Gucci jacket with the word “LOVED” written across the back, where she explains exactly why she wouldn’t run to become the leader of the Free World.

"I've always felt very secure and confident with myself in knowing what I could do and what I could not. And so it's not something that interests me," she tells the magazine. "I don't have the DNA for it."

She’s not interested in a Twitter legacy either, unlike Trump.

"I try not to lean into the hysteria. I've heard a lot of Twitter chatter where people have said, 'Where are you? You should be speaking up on these things!' But it makes no sense to speak when you cannot be heard," the star of A Wrinkle in Time tells the magazine. "One hundred and forty characters—that is not how you want to make your mark in the world."

Now that she’s floating in her 60s, Lady O says she doesn’t take ish from anyone and could care less what a hater has to say.

"You take no s--t. None. Not a bit. In your 40s you want to say you take no shit, but you still do. In your 60s you take none," she says. "There's both a quickening and a calming—there's a sense that you don't have as much time on earth as you once did...People coming with anything less than what is the truth or authentic? Don't even try."

Love this!

Oprah and 11 other A-list celebrities grace Vanity Fair’s 2018 Hollywood issue, dubbed “The 2018 Vanity Fair Hollywood Portfolio: 12 Extraordinary Stars, One Momentous Year.”

The cover, shot by Annie Leibovitz, featured 12 of film and TV’s famed actors and celebrities, including YBF stars Zendaya and Michael B. Jordan. Vanity Fair said these celebrities took the “#MeToo movement in stride, offering strong women in leading roles, as well as strong men supporting them.”

However, Twitter is abuzz over some of the inside shots. Apparently, VF felt the need to give Oprah a third hand in one shot. HA!

Utterly Gorgeous Lupita Nyong’o Explains Why She Couldn’t Sleep At Night Over Harvey Weinsten In THR + Peep Taraji’s New Poster For Tyler Perry’s ‘Acrimony’

Lupita Nyong’o takes our breath away as the cover girl for the newest issue of The Hollywood Reporter. Inside, she opens up about speaking out against Harvey Weinstein during the sexual assault controversy. Get into her cover story, plus check out Taraji P. Henson in a new poster for Tyler Perry’s Acrimony film inside…

There’s no doubt that Lupita Nyong’o is the prototype of an African goddess. Not only is she gorgeous, she’s intelligent and she will speak out against injustices when need be.

So when everything was coming out about how former Hollywood exec Harvey Weinstein used his power to sexually assault women, she had to speak out because she was one of many women he preyed upon.

The Oscar winning actress covers the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter (with an effortlessly gorgeous spread) where she opens up about how NOT speaking up in the beginning was eating her alive. So much so, she was losing sleep over it.

If you missed, Lupita previously shared how the fallen Hollywood exec invited her to his home for a screening and eventually lead her to his bedroom where he attempted to give her massage. Later, they met again at a Tribeca restaurant where he made another uninvited advance, telling her,“Let's cut to the chase," he said. "I have a private room upstairs where we can have the rest of our meal."

She declined, responding "With all due respect, I would not be able to sleep at night if I did what you are asking." After that incident, she vowed never to work with him again.

"I felt uncomfortable in my silence, and I wanted to liberate myself from it and contribute to the discussion," she says. "That was just what I felt I needed to do, quite viscerally. I couldn't sleep. I needed to get it out." Over several days, she wrote and wrote, alone with her computer, then showed what she had crafted to her mother. "I had to talk to her about it because it was something that we hadn't talked about," she continues. "She was really moved and very supportive."

Now, she’s looking to take a more active role in the #TIMESUP movement and weighing her options on how she can best serve it.

Switching gears, the Yale Drama School graduate shared how she signed on to star in the upcoming Marvel superhero all-black cast film, Black Panther.

It was during the awards-season run of 12 Years a Slave that she met Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, who was on the circuit with Fruitvale Station. Later, she says, while she was appearing on Broadway in Eclipsed, "Marvel called and said that Ryan was interested in me for a role in Panther, and I talked to him about it, and obviously everything was hush-hush, but he walked me through his initial ideas, and I thought, 'Wait a minute? This is a Marvel movie?'"

It was the political themes implicit in Panther that drew her to that big franchise, the first comic book adaptation to feature a largely black cast. In it, Nyong'o plays the warrior Nakia, "a rebel but a loyalist at the same time," she says. "She wants to go her own way but also wants to serve her nation." The film centers on "what it means to be from a place and welcome others into it. T'Challa [Chadwick Boseman] is the leader of an isolated nation that has managed to keep its autonomy and be self-determining because it has shielded itself from colonization, and how does that nation now relate with the rest of the world?"

Nyong'o agreed to make Panther without seeing the script, which she didn't read until shooting began. Then she gave it her all, marking every page with notes in as many colors as her celebrated outfits.

We literally are counting down the days for Black Panther to hit theaters.

The Marvel film will hit theaters February 16th and its reported the movie is on track to earn between $100 million and $120 million at the U.S. box office. YAS!

From butt kicking hitwoman to a scorned wife seeking revenge.

If you didn’t know Taraji P. Henson and Tyler Perry are teaming up for the third time for another blockbuster titled, Acrimony. And the new poster was just released.

The “Empire” star will a wife who grows tired of her husband (Lyriq Bent) and his devious ways, so she decides to do something about it.

Cinema Blend gives a full synopsis of the film:

In the film, Taraji P. Henson plays Melinda, a faithful lover who has been standing by her man, Robert (Lyriq Bent), for far too long. She has been wronged by this man, but we don't even know the extent of the damage it has done to their relationship... and to her psyche. Acrimony looks like it's going to trace the early days of their relationship -- with Ajiona Alexus and Antonio Madison playing younger versions of the once-happy couple. But in time, we'll see how Robert strayed... and how Melinda plotted revenge.

Sounds thrilling.

Peep the trailer below:

The cast also includes Tika Sumpter, Danielle Nicolet, and Ajiona Alexus (who plays a younger version of Taraji’s character in the film and on “Empire”). It’s produced by Tyler Perry Studios.

Acrimony hits theaters March 30, 2018. Mark your calendars.
