Oprah& Gayle just proved once again why they're our ultimate #BestieGoals.  If we're not getting ready for any event (or hell, even just to run errands) with our bestie like this, we don't want it.

Oprah's HUGE night accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globes started off just how it should - making sure her homegirl wasn't ashy and getting rid of her nerves with IG stories and pasta. All thanks to Gayle King (both pictured above with Ava Duvernay).

Hours before they left out for the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Gayle was ready first and O told her how she really felt about her look: Smoking hot, but lose the glasses and the ashy elbows.

Everyone is up in arms over this H&M ad campaign that features a black boy wearing a hoodie that reads, “Coolest Money In The Jungle.” Share your thoughts inside…

Another day, another insensitive ad that has folks up in arms.

Apparently, everyone who finalizes ad campaigns at H&M UK thought this was appropriate. A young, black boy is featured wearing a green hoodie that has “Coolest Monkey In The Jungle” written across the front. There are different variations of the hoodie, but the black child was picked to wear THIS one.

He could have easily worn one of the other hoodies. 

So, this imagery made it past every eye in HM’s corporate office and no one saw an issue with it? Fire everybody. Throw the whole office away.

Folks are also wondering where the parents of the young boy were in all of this.

Roc Nation exec Lenny Santiago pointed out that his manager or parents should have caught this before it was released, but sometimes brands will photoshop clothing on the models post-approval. So, his management team and/or parents may not have even been aware of the final look.

Since the outrage, H&M offered up an apology...a weak one at that.

"We sincerely apologize for this image," H&M said in an email sent to CBS MoneyWatch. "It has been now removed from all online channels and the product will not be for sale in the United States. We believe in diversity and inclusion in all that we do, and will be reviewing our internal routines."

Heard it all before.  But what e didn't hear is how this happened and what you're doing to prevent it from happening again.

After two collaborations with the huge international retailer H&M, singer The Weeknd is cutting ties with them over that seemingly racist "monkey" promo they've been running.  We've also learned he and Bella Hadid might just be back on....

H&M is getting handed their asses after an image was promoted on their website for a child's hoodie that any person with even the smallest knowledge of history would deem problematic.

Social media was in an uproar all last night after news circulated that the clothing retailer posted a young black boy rocking a hoodie referencing a monkey.  There were plenty of other options he could have been put in, considering the racial undertones at hand.  But clearly, H&M either didn't care or was too ignorant to realize the issue.

Whatever the retail giant's reason for going forth with the image, singer The Weeknd isn't here for it.  He announced this afternoon that he's severing ties with the company.  The Canadian previously had two clothing line collaborations with H&M (pictured in one of his jackets above).  He posted:

Well look who decided to rub elbows with Hollywood’s finest. Rapper Drake did not attend the ceremony, but he made sure to clean up before heading out to Netflix’s official Golden Globes afterparty held inside the at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills.

The Young Money rapper made his rounds at the party, nabbing photo-ops with nominee Mary J. Blige, Alfre Woodard, Pharrell Williams and more.

The Queen of Hip Hop Soul, who was up for Best Original Song (Mighty River) and Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture (Mudbound), kept on her custom Alberta Ferretti velvet gown with Swarovski crystals for the afterparty festivities.

This is the 2nd year "black-ish" star Anthony Anderson has been nominated for a Globe and not win, but he's still a winner in our eyes. He brings one of the funniest family comedies to life each week and we love him for that. His wife Alvina Stewart does too, amongst other things.

Sometimes you have to let the underdog in the game so he/she can show you what they’re made of.

That’s exactly what happened last night during the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs. True freshman Tua Tagovailoa stepped in for starting QB Jalen Hurts at halftime to bring home a victory for the Tide…in overtime.

At one point in the game the Bulldogs had a 13-point lead, but they let that slip right out of their hands.

Tua, a Hawaii native, threw a 41-yard pass to Devonta Smith on Alabama's first possession of overtime and that sealed the deal for the school’s fifth national title in nine years.

The final score was 26-23. That’s right, two black players helped bring home yet another football championship. Woot!

It’s an epic win as its very rare a true freshman would even get in a game like this, let alone bring the team to victory. Some people just have it like that. The down side is Jalen will definitely have some competition in the upcoming football season, if he stays.

During the third quarter, Alabama was trailing the Bulldogs and it was too much for Crimson Tide linebacker Mekhi Brown to handle.

First, he tried to fight a Georgia player, throwing a punch on the field, which ultimately cost his team 15 yards. Then, he tried to fight one of the coaches on the sideline! Luckily, his teammates restrained him before it got ugly.

Kendrick Lamar hit the stage to perform for the inaugural halftime performance during the College Football Playoff National Championship game. And he came with a message.

Donald Trump popped up during the opening ceremony of the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship game in Atlanta last night. And how ironic was it that he seemingly didn’t know the lyrics to the “Star Spangled Banner.” Cameras captured No. 45 standing on the field with his hand over his heart as the national anthem was played and he literally didn’t say/sing more than two words at a time. In fact, it looked like he kept repeating the same word over and over.

So here we are. A president who ranted and raved for months against Colin Kaepernick and other black NFL players (remember he called them a “sons of b*tches?”) who demonstrated a peaceful protest during the national anthem, only for him to not even know the damn words. Seemingly.

When couples give back! See how Meagan Markle, Prince Harry, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are kicking off their 2018 philanthropic duties inside…

2018 is off to a great start for engaged couple Meagan Markle and Prince Harry. The lovebirds are doing what they love to do most: Give back.

The soon-to-be Duke & Duchess of Sussex paid a visit to the Reprezent 107.3FM radio station in London for some training by a group of teenagers. The Reprezent training program was created as a tool to help young people develop and socialize through radio in response to the alarming rise in knife crime.

This is the couples first public appearance together of the new year. And they were greeted by hundreds of fans outside of the station in the south London neighborhood of Brixton.

Love them!

The countdown to their royal wedding has begun as the couple is scheduled to tie the knot May 19th.

As they gear up for the big day, the 26-year-old former “Suits” star has officially deleted all of her social media accounts. No more sharing selfies, flicks of her dogs or her philanthropic trips around the world.  Chick's a princess-in-training so, none of that will be going down.

Kensington Palace told Us Weekly,“Ms. Markle is grateful to everyone who has followed her social media accounts over the years, however as she has not used them for some time, she has taken the decision to close them.”

No surprise here though. Taking down her social media accounts was bound to happen since she’ll be joining the royal fold.

Speaking of couples giving back:

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez skipped out on the 2018 Golden Globes for a good cause.

The couple jetted to the island where they are still struggling to get back to normal four months after Hurricane Maria and Hurricane Irma hit them. Nearly half of Puerto Rico is STILL without power, so the island can use all the help they can get.

The singer and former NBL player, both wearing black to show support of the #TIMESUP movement, were there to launch the Puerto Rico Federally Qualified Health Centers Disaster Recovery Fund. JLo, who is Puerto Rican, called for the heavily destroyed island to be “treated equally” as she stood before an audience.

Ginuwine rejecting a trans woman on television has caused a stir online. Debate inside….

Ginuwine has sparked social media debate during his stint on “Celebrity Big Brother UK.” On a recent episode, the “Pony” singer was sitting amongst his housemates where they were talking about whether he would date a trans woman.

“I’m a woman, right. You would date me, yeah?,” the singer’s cast mate India Willoughby (who is trans) asked him. “Not if you tell me you’re trans,” he responded. India kept insisting she was a “woman," but Ginuwine made it clear he would not date a trans woman.

Then it all went left. India wrapped her arms around the singer and attempted to give him a kiss. Pulling himself away from her grip, he smiled and politely curved her, then she eventually stormed off.

Serena Williams opens up for the first time about the complications she went through after giving birth to her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. And she was tested like never before. Peep the mother-daughter cover and get the details inside…

2017 proved to be a huge year for Serena Williams as she won a Grand Slam while pregnant, gave birth to her beautiful daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., tied the knot to her daughter’s father Alexis Ohanian and she got a Nike building (the biggest one) named after her.

2018 is already set up to be just as great. Now that she’s settling into motherhood and being a new wife, Serena is ready to reclaim her No. 1 spot in the tennis world. But, before we get into that, the 36-year-old opened up in VOGUE magazine's February 2018 issue (that she covers with her baby girl) about the medical complications she endured after welcoming her daughter, Olympia, in September.

First, the new mom had to undergo an emergency C-section after Baby Olympia’s heart rate started going down. But, that was just the beginning. The tennis super star had some medical emergencies flare up after Olympia’s birth and she could have died.

The next day, while recovering in the hospital, Serena suddenly felt short of breath. Because of her history of blood clots, and because she was off her daily anticoagulant regimen due to the recent surgery, she immediately assumed she was having another pulmonary embolism. (Serena lives in fear of blood clots.) She walked out of the hospital room so her mother wouldn’t worry and told the nearest nurse, between gasps, that she needed a CT scan with contrast and IV heparin (a blood thinner) right away. The nurse thought her pain medicine might be making her confused. But Serena insisted, and soon enough a doctor was performing an ultrasound of her legs. “I was like, a Doppler? I told you, I need a CT scan and a heparin drip,” she remembers telling the team. The ultrasound revealed nothing, so they sent her for the CT, and sure enough, several small blood clots had settled in her lungs. Minutes later she was on the drip. “I was like, listen to Dr. Williams!”

But this was just the first chapter of a six-day drama. Her fresh C-section wound popped open from the intense coughing spells caused by the pulmonary embolism, and when she returned to surgery, they found that a large hematoma had flooded her abdomen, the result of a medical catch-22 in which the potentially lifesaving blood thinner caused hemorrhaging at the site of her C-section. She returned yet again to the OR to have a filter inserted into a major vein, in order to prevent more clots from dislodging and traveling into her lungs. Serena came home a week later only to find that the night nurse had fallen through, and she spent the first six weeks of motherhood unable to get out of bed.

Yikes. C-sections are very scary being that they’re considered to be major surgery. There has been much talk recently and disturbing, heart wrenching articles about the rising death rate of black mothers immediately after birth.  We can't help but wonder what would have happened to a mother whose name wasn't Serena, seeing that doctors barely listened to Serena herself.

We’re just glad ‘Rena and baby are OK.

“Sometimes I get really down and feel like, Man, I can’t do this,” she said about her first months of motherhood. “It’s that same negative attitude I have on the court sometimes. I guess that’s just who I am. No one talks about the low moments—the pressure you feel, the incredible letdown every time you hear the baby cry. I’ve broken down I don’t know how many times. Or I’ll get angry about the crying, then sad about being angry, and then guilty, like, Why do I feel so sad when I have a beautiful baby? The emotions are insane.”

We’re sure our YBF moms (and even dads) out there can relate to the post-pregnancy emotions that have you out of wack as your hormones try to stabilize.

In the cover story, the new mom and wife talked about how she’s stopping at nothing to reach the golden number of 25 Grand Slams, how motherhood has changed her outlook on life and being a role model for her daughter.

On making sure her names goes down as the greatest to ever did it:

“To be honest, there’s something really attractive about the idea of moving to San Francisco and just being a mom,” she says. Reddit, the news aggregator of which Alexis is a cofounder, is based there, and they’ve just found a house in Silicon Valley. “But not yet. Maybe this goes without saying, but it needs to be said in a powerful way: I absolutely want more Grand Slams. I’m well aware of the record books, unfortunately. It’s not a secret that I have my sights on 25.” She means 25 Grand Slam victories, which would surpass the record of 24 held by the Australian tennis legend Margaret Court and make her the undisputed greatest of all time. (Serena, already widely regarded as the best there ever was, currently owns 23.)

On reclaiming the No. 1 spot:

The truth is that dominant number ones like Serena are rare, and no one has made a bold declaration during her absence. “It’s interesting,” she muses. “There hasn’t been a clear number one since I was there. It will be cool to see if I get there again, to what I call my spot—where I feel I belong. I don’t play to be the second best or the third best. If there’s no clear number one, it’s like, yeah, I can get my spot back. But if there is a clear number one, that’s cool, too, because it’s like, yeah, I’m gonna come for you.”

On how motherhood has changed her outlook on life:

“And actually, I think having a baby might help. When I’m too anxious I lose matches, and I feel like a lot of that anxiety disappeared when Olympia was born. Knowing I’ve got this beautiful baby to go home to makes me feel like I don’t have to play another match. I don’t need the money or the titles or the prestige. I want them, but I don’t need them. That’s a different feeling for me.”

On she and baby Alexis (whom she likes to Olympia) being inseparable:

“We’re not spending a day apart until she’s eighteen,” Serena says, only half-joking. “Now that I’m 36 and I look at my baby, I remember that this was also one of my goals when I was little, before tennis took over, when I was still kind of a normal girl who played with dolls. Oh, my God, I loved my dolls.”

On teaching her daughter she can be whatever she chooses:

"I think sometimes women limit themselves. I’m not sure why we think that way, but I know that we’re sometimes taught to not dream as big as men, not to believe we can be a president or a CEO, when in the same household, a male child is told he can be anything he wants. I’m so glad I had a daughter. I want to teach her that there are no limits.”

The sexual assault allegations are still trickling in against Russell Simmons. Meanwhile, Dr. Umar Johnson came out victorious in a hearing where he was charged with misrepresenting his credentials. Deets inside…

Rape allegations brought against Russell Simmons are still coming in as more women are coming forward.

Following a criminal investigation launched by the NYPD, two more women are coming forward with allegations that the Hip Hop mogul raped them. The two women have reportedly filed criminal complaints with the NYPD last month.

Both women share how and when Russell allegedly took advantage of them detailed below:

Law enforcement sources tell us the two women filed police reports with the NYPD late last month, alleging the music mogul raped them in 1983 and 1991, respectively.

One of those women is Sherri Hines, who appeared on Megyn Kelly's show in December. She told cops Simmons raped her at his office in '83 ... which jibes with what she said on the show.

The other woman -- who remains anonymous -- claims Simmons raped her at his Manhattan residence after they'd gone out on a date in '91. She was 32 at the time, and alleges he tried taking off her dress while sitting on a couch, and then pushed her down and forcibly raped her when she rejected his advances.

With these two new complaints, there is now a total of 14 women who claim Russell sexually assaulted them. Sheesh.

The 60-year-old, who recently stepped down from his entire Def Jam empire because of all the recent allegations, has vehemently denied he ever raped anyone and stands on an sexual contact was consensual. He even took a polygraph in at least one of the allegations and the polygraph cleared him of any wrongdoing. He also launched that #NOTME movement which we still aren't sure if it was the best idea considering his situation.

As we said before, the NYPD is currently investigating 7 of the sexual misconduct claims, assessing which cases are still within the statute of limitations.

We guess he better set appointments for 13 more polygraph tests.

In other legal news...

Dr. Umar Johnson, who’s known for stirring up intense conversations with his Hotep rhetoric, was victorious in a recent hearing in Harrisburg, PA after he was charged for misrepresenting his educational credentials.

The self-proclaimed "Prince of Pan-Afrikanism” was brought up on charges that he was misrepresenting himself as a “practicing licensed psychologist” and that he offered counseling sessions. The state board threatened to drop a $10,000 fine PER infraction. Sheesh!

Dr. Umar has denied those claims saying he NEVER presented himself as a psychologist. The board’s final decision will come at a later date, but Dr. Umar is already claiming a victory.

After the heating, he spoke to his supporters and revealed whomever brought these allegations against him didn’t have any factual evidence that he conducted any therapy sessions accept under the supervision of a clinical psychologist. He said the case is bogus because they don’t have

He said he never said he was licensed and he also revealed the person(s) who brought these accusations against him is being hidden.

“I believe ‘coons’ as well as Caucasians are involved in this situation,” he said, “but I also believe that the state board of psychology of Pennsylvania is jealous of the fact that an unlicensed, certified school psychologist with a doctorate in clinical psychology can have the type of international reputation that they do not have.”

O.J. Simpson is finally putting the longtime rumor that he’s Khloe Kardashian’s biological daughter to rest. Find out what he said, plus deets on Kevin Gates being released from prison inside….

In the case of pregnant reality star Khloe Kardashian: O.J. Simpson, You are NOT the father! At least, that’s what he claims.

We’ve all heard that ongoing rumor that Kris Jenner cheated on her late husband Rob Kardashian with his bestie O.J. Simpson and that the former NFL superstar is Khloe’s biological father. But, the Juice says that’s so NOT true.

TMZ photogs caught up with O.J. and his daughter Arnell in Las Vegas when he was asked if congratulations are in order since Khloe recently confirmed she’s pregnant with NBA player Tristan Thompson’s baby.

His daughter immediately laughed at the question while O.J. finally went on the record to put the rumors to rest.

“Congratulations to her [Khloe], but trust me I had nothing to do with it. I would be proud if I had anything to do with it but I don't,” he explained.

He said if congrats are in order it would be for his late friend Rob Kardashian.

As you all know, OJ is now a free man after he was released from prison after serving 9 years for a Las Vegas armed robbery. He’s currently on parole.

Speaking of parole...

New year, new Kevin Gates. Hopefully.

After serving 9-months of a 30-month sentence, rapper Kevin Gates is a free man. He was released from an Illinois state prison and will be on parole where he'll be on mandatory supervision and he can't possess any firearms. None.

Luckily for him, he’s out for good this time, unlike the last time he was released. You’ll recall, he was released from a Florida jail after doing time for kicking a woman during one of his concerts. He was released from jail and then had to travel to Illinois to turn himself in for having a warrant issued over a weapons charge.

Keri Hilson got super emotional while opening up about why we haven’t seen her on the music scene. Peep the emotional clip, plus Tessa Thompson’s explanation as to why she was not apologizing for her comments about Lena Dunham inside…

Keri Hilson has been floating under the radar over the last six or so years when it comes to the music scene. However, if you followed her on social media, you’d get a small glimpse into her life.

We learned she started dating retired NFL player Ricardo Lockette via her social media handles. And we also saw their public breakup play out via their accounts. But other than that, we don’t hear much about Miss Keri Baby.

Now, we know why.

Apparently, the singer-songwriter had fallen on some depressing times that caused her to want to take a break from music. Originally, she was just going to take a year off, but that eventually turned into several years.

During an interview with psychic medium Reginald Lewis on Steve Harvey’s daytime show, “Steve,” Keri opened up about her personal life where she revealed she hit rock bottom…a few times.

“I hit rock bottom a few times and I’m crawling back to walking in my purpose, in my power, and using my gifts,” she said.

“I think I had to give up music for awhile. I stepped away. I thought it would just be a year. It’s been six, maybe. I realize now that I’m grateful for all of those years because I have built myself back up,” she continued.

Reginald said her next year will be a year of “new beginnings” for her. Sounds like Keri fans may get some fire music. However, she hasn’t confirmed that…yet.

“Westworld” actress Tessa Thompson is setting the record straight about her “beef” with diet-feminist Lena Dunham.

So here’s how it started….

The CREED actress posted photos of the women who put together the #TIMESUP movement on the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on her Instagram account. However, she was not feeling Lena Dunham posing it up with the ladies who actually put in work towards the movement. If you didn’t know, Lena caused controversy when she accused alleged rape victim, someone who worked on her "Girls" set, Auroroa Perrineau of lying when she came forward to reveal “Girls” writer (and Lena's personal friend) Murray Miller sexually assaulted her at the age of 17.  This after she said ALL women who speak about their sexual assault should be heard and believed.

“Lena was not anywhere present in our group during the countless hours of work for the last two months," Tessa said in response to a commenter in a now-deleted Instagram post. "We hosted an open house for the actresses for red carpet messaging and Lena’s presence was a surprise to us all."

As expected, it got picked up and folks had a problem.  Because heaven forbid someone call a white woman on her sh*t.  See Taylor Swift.

Soon after, Tessa took to Twitter to explain she was not trying to drag Lena and that they have spoken. In part, she wrote, “I, in no way, want to diminish Lena Dunham and her work, her voice, and her importance. We have spoken and she knows my heart … I regret that my words were misinterpreted to distract from the most important thing: The Time’s Up campaign is for everyone, in all capacities, contributions big and small.”

Folks took her response as an apology, so she had to come back to set the record straight:

Taraji P. Henson is hot on the promo trail, making her rounds in NYC (above) before her new movie Proud Mary hits theaters this Friday.

And her movie train isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The “Empire” star is gearing up to bring one of her passion projects to life on the big screen. The star and produce a film about the life and death of Emmett Till.

During a recent interview with Global Grind, Taraji confirmed she has sealed the deal to bring the project to life. Taraji’s production company, TPH Productions, will produce the Emmett Till Story and she has joined forces with John Singleton to direct. Taraji will play Emmett’s mother Mamie Till-Mobley. It’ll be a mini Baby Boy reunion for sure.

A production date hasn’t been set just yet, but the “deal has been made,” she told the website.

As you know, 14-year-old Emmett Till was brutally killed by two white men for whistling at a white woman. His body was so badly beaten he was unrecognizable, but his mother decided on an open casket funeral to show the world the face of hate and racism.

Last year, Carolyn Bryant Donham – the white woman who claimed he whistled at her – admitted that she LIED about the Chicago teen whistling at her.

Taraji’s career is flourishing and so is her love life.

We’ve been talking about her relationship with former NFL player Kelvin Hayden for quite some time. Now, she’s finally confirming it.

The hot mom confirmed on Essence’s Yes, Girl! podcast that she has been dating Kelvin for two years.

"I’m happy in my personal life. Finally it has happened to me!," she told hosts and editors Cori Murray, Charli Penn and Yolanda Sangweni.

While she did drop that relationship nugget, she doesn’t plan on sharing every little detail of her drama-filled relationship.

"It was all over The Shade Room anyway," she said. "You know, I’m not the type to blast my personal business, but you know, I think that it's important for people to know that I’m happy. I’m very very happy. I just am. We’ve been together for two years. And no one would really know that because I don’t blast my info like that but I’m very happy."

Lena, who made history as the first black woman to win an EMMY for comedy writing, stopped by the “Wendy Williams Show” to talk about her new show and she even dropped a few nuggets about her love life.

The EMMY winner, who is engaged, revealed she came out to her a family by writing a “Master Of None” episode about coming out. She then talked about how she has to constantly educate her family about her lifestyle, and it was quite funny.

After delivering the speech heard around the world at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, Oprah is now dealing with devastation.

The media mogul hopped on Instagram to share the damage to her home caused by the Montecito mudslides. Her backyard is soaked with mud and debris. Luckily for her, the damage to her backyard wasn’t as bad as her neighbors. They had to be rescued via helicopter.

Meanwhile...

While Oprah received tons of praise for her Golden Globe acceptance speech, there were some who had to rain on her parade.

Singer Seal took to Instagram to call out Lady O, labeling her a hypocrite over her (former?) relationship with Harvey Weinstein, the man who has been accused of sexual assault by several women, even Hollywood actresses.

He posted up a meme of Oprah kissing the fallen Hollywood producer with the statement, “When you have been part of the problem for decades but suddenly they all think you are the solution.”

Then he captioned it, “Oh I forgot, that’s right…..you’d heard the [rumors] but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young [starry]-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad. #SanctimoniousHollywood.”

Really sir? We're blaming Oprah for Harvey's alleged sexual misconduct? Have several seats.  Especially when you were literally living in a house Harvey built, since your ex0wife heidi Klum's lingtime show is produced by Mr. Weinstein himself.  And we've def seen her kisisng and hugging him over the years.

Pregnant model Chrissy Teigen, who’s never one to hold her tongue, hopped in the comments section to come to Oprah’s defense.

“Hmm. Let’s just say we’ve all heard things about each other, haven’t we?,” she wrote.

Spill the tea Chrissy!Hmmm…Seal coming at Oprah feels like he's just seeking attention.

Another attention seeker is also making headlines, per usual, with Oprah's name attached.

Oprah’s speech also sparked rumors of a possible 2020 presidential run and y’all know Donald Trump had to respond to that.

During a meeting on immigration with member of Congress, No. 45 told reporters he would beat Oprah if she ran for president, but he doesn’t think she would run in the first place.

"Yeah, I'll beat Oprah," he said. "I did one of her last shows [on the ‘Oprah Winfrey Show’]. She had Donald Trump -- this is before politics -- her last week and she had Donald Trump and my family, it was very nice."

“I like Oprah, I don't think she's going to run. I don't think she's going to run,” he concluded.

The two grabbed lunch with friend Barbara Becker, and were holding hands and kissing after leaving the restaurant.  Mmmhmm.

Unlike most of us, Eve is keeping to her New Year's resolution.  See how she pulled off her fresh faced, makeup free look on live TV, and the tea on ending her longtime beef with Lil Kim.

We've always thought she was naturally gorgeous.  Now, Eve just proved it.

“The Talk” kicked off 2018 with their New Year’s "Evolutions" where each host commits to taking on a new personal challenge.

On Thursday's show, Eve decided to go makeup free after realizing she uses cosmetics as a crutch. All hosts, including guest co-host Carnie Wilson, decided to shed their normal glam looks in solidarity.

Still, it certainly wasn't easy for the 39-year-old rapper turned host.  Eve revealed:

“Honestly, I’m still stressed out… I feel like I’m naked… but waiting for it was the hardest part and I’m glad that I’ve done it… [makeup] became a security blanket… I’ve been in the business from a young age and I wore makeup for everything, every time I was in public… also it became something, that I guess, I started seeing flaws that I didn’t want other people to see… I don’t want to be scared of that anymore… you ladies doing this with me, it has helped me, this is making me feel brave. So I thank you so much.”

Nothing to be stressed about girl.  You look damn good.  That glow is nothing but good genes, melanin and good lovin'.

By the way, co-host Sheryl Underwood decided to go half on the solidarity ish.

Guess she wasn't all the way here for it since all the co-hosts did this same challenge already 5 years ago.

Earlier this week, Eve revealed some tea you may not have even realized:  She had beef with fellow rapper Lil Kim in the past.

While the hosts discussed the topic about hating someone at first sight, Eve opened up about how shady Kim was with her when the Philly first got into the music business:

“I just thought that there was this sisterhood in the music business so I would run up to her and be like…‘Oh my god, Kim…hey girl, I love you so much and I just got signed and can you please be on my album?’ and she’d just look at me like, ‘uh huh, yeah okay,’” recalls Eve. “Finally I was like, okay, ‘I should stop’ and I don’t think it’s that she hated me. I think I was so over-excited to see her. I have to say, one day we sat across from each other years later at a dinner and we bonded over our dogs. We bonded over other things. And I love Kim so much now…and she loves me back.”

Black Excellence is taking over the ice! In case you haen't heard, newbie Erin Jackson has made history after clinching a spot on the U.S. Olympic long-track skating team four months after starting the sport. Also, teen figure skater Starr Andrews joined forces with Whitney Houston for a slay worthy routine. Get it all inside…

The Winter Olympics just added some more #BlackGirlMagic to its roster.

Erin Jackson is a real-life YBFer and she’s proved that you can do ANYTHING you set your mind up to do.

The 25-year-old long-track speed skater showed up and showed off at the 500-meter race during the during the long track speed skating Olympic trials at the Pettit National Ice Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The YBF skater crossed the finish line at 39.22 seconds for her first run and clocked in at 39.04 in her second run. Woot!

And guess what? She first touched the ice four (yes, FOUR) months ago! YASSSS!

“I really wasn’t expecting any of this, just coming in as a newbie, just trying to do the best I can,” she said after her win.“I still don’t even know.”

She’ll be joining Brittany Bowe and Heather Bergsma, two former Olympians, to compete at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang County, South Korea next month.

The former inline skater and roller derby athlete is the first black woman to qualify for the long-track competition and she’s the third black athlete to make a U.S. Olympic speedskating team.

Starr Andrews is making waves in the figure skating world.

The 16-year-old put a cool spin on her routine during the U.S. National Championships recently.

The figure skater slayed her routine to a cover of Whitney Houston’s 1988 Olympic anthem “One Moment In Time.” Yes, she can sing AND skate. What an innovative spin.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to send her to the Winter Olympics next month. She reportedly came in sixth place after her performance earned her the fifth-best long program score. #Haters

Starr also rocked out to another cover, featuring Beyonce’s “Fever” for the short program.

If Starr looks familiar, you may remember her as a young figure skater when she went viral. When she was 9, her performance to Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair” went viral.

Mary J. Blige received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on her birthday! Afterwards, she celebrated with Diddy and more in Beverly Hills. Show some love to the Queen of Hip Hop Soul inside…

Talk about one hell of a birthday.

Mary J. Blige was SHINING bright like diamond to receive her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Not only was she celebrating the big feat, it was also her 47th birthday!

The Queen of Hip Hop Soul told the audience she was “grateful” for the recognition. She was honored in the Recording category for her musical contributions.

"On this day, my birthday, God put my name on a star,” she said.

Several people who played a big part in Mary’s career were there to show support, including Bad Boy honcho Diddy and record exec Andre Harrell. They served as guest speakers during the ceremony.

Diddy spoke about how Mary’s music helped save lives and how they started from the bottom and skyrocketed to the top of the music game.

"We have been through a whole lot. We started from nothing," he said. "What makes Mary special, she moves people with not just with her voice but with who she is. She pours everything into a record and into a performance. Whatever she is going through, she knows she has a responsibility for those going through the same thing."

Ray J is responding to the multi-million lawsuit filed against him claiming he stole the Scoot-E Bike idea. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne is asking for a new paternity trial to prove he’s not the father of a 15-year-old boy. Deets inside…

Ray J’s Scoot-E Bikes seem to be doing well. And with more money, comes more problems.

A man named Jean Paul is suing the “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star for $30 million. Why? Well, he claims he and Ray J talked about starting an electronic scooter bike business back in 2015.

In the lawsuit, Jean Paul claims Ray was supposed to become an investor and celebrity endorser of this alleged business. Apparently, the singer/reality star decided to do his own thing and launched his on “competing” business to axe Jean out of the mix. Jean claims he was blindsided by Ray’s business move, so he filed a lawsuit via his attorney Sarah Cabarcas-Osman from the Berman Law Group.

Well, Ray, who is about to welcome his first child, has responded and he says this whole thing is nothing but a “money grab.” His manager, David Weintraub, told TMZ that Scoot-E Bikes is “100% independently owned, financed, trademarked, marketed and promoted by the 'Love & Hip Hop' star.”

Earlier this week, Ray J and his pregnant wife Princess Love (above) attended CES 2018 in Las Vegas. It's an event where electronics companies show off all of their new gadgets.

In other legal woes...

There’s a woman who claims Lil Wayne is the father of her 15-year-old son. But, the Young Money rapper claims he’s NOT the child’s father. And he’s adamant about it too, especially since he was ordered to pay child support before it has even been confirmed that he’s the biological father. That’s crazy.

According to The Blast, the “A Milli” rapper is requesting a new trail in the paternity case Louisiana native Keiotia Watson filed against him in 2015. She claims they had sex in June 2001 and she became pregnant shortly after. However, she didn’t start seeking child support until August 2015. That’s when she filed a court order stating Wayne was her son’s, Dwayne Brown, father. Wayne never responded.

In October 2015, she filed for a default judgment. Since Wayne never responded, a judge ordered Wayne to pay her $5,000/month in child support (which was to begin January 2016) and he also was ordered to cover the child’s health insurance.

Well, Wayne isn’t trying to pay for a kid that isn’t his. In the documents he recently filed, he’s requesting to have the child support payments set aside until he’s proven that he is the biological father. He claims he never slept with the woman.

Also, the father-of-four said he didn’t show up to court because he was not properly served the first time.

The Blast got their hands on Wayne’s declaration in which he stated:

“I did not engage in a sexual relationship with Keiotia Watson in June of 2001 or at any other time”.

“In June of 2001 I was residing in New Orleans, but my professional commitments required me to travel a great deal throughout the United States. I do not believe it is possible that I am the biological father of Dwayne Brown. I have never acknowledged Dwayne Brown as my son, nor was I ever made aware of his birth until I was served with the petition” filed in August.”

“I am the loving father of four (4) children, all of whom I provided support for since birth. Up until now, I have never been involved in a child support case.”

A hearing has been scheduled next month to sort all of this out.

Hmm…what do you all think?? What took her so long to file this paperwork? And does Wayne really remember every girl he’s been with? Hmph.

New year, new Reginae Carter? We chopped it up with the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star about her ongoing beef with Khia and her response surprised us. Find out what she said inside…

It’s a new year and it seems Reginae Carter has turned a leaf. Well, she’s working on it.

YBF correspondent Kiara Walker hit the red carpet at the “Growing Up Hip Hop: ATL” premiere screening in Atlanta to chop it up with the daughter of Lil Wayne & Toya Wright.

If you haven’t heard, mother-daughter duo Reginae and Toya were recently involved (and possibly still are) in an extra petty beef with rapper Khia. The “My Neck, My Back” rapper came for Toya during her webseries “The Queens Court,” with co-star TS Madison. Not only did she throw shade at Toya, she also said some disrespectful things about Reginae, like calling her a “meal ticket” and said everyone around her calls her the nickname "Call your daddy" since that's the only way she gets her coin. This is all according to Khia, who has been friends with Wayne for years.

As you can imagine, Toya and Reginae clapped back at Khia on social media and the ladies were going back and forth with one another. Well, we had to ask Reginae about the drama and her response surprised us.

We’re shocked she didn’t want to say more about the situation being she (and her mom) had plenty to say on social media. But, maybe this is the first step in her “growing up” journey and becoming more mature. Not mad.
