Scottie and Larsa Pippen are giving their 19-year long marriage another try after Scottie filed for divorce almost a year ago.

The reunited couple went out for manicures and they hit the gym together this week.

The Pippens have reconciled and have reportedly moved back in together in L.A. to “figure things out,” this according to TMZ. And it must be true because they’ve been making rounds in Beverly Hills together recently. It’s said they moved from Miami to L.A. since their son was transferred to a local school to play basketball.

Tyrese and Samantha Gibson sat down with Pastor Creflo Dollar, who also did their pre-marital counselor, to give their first joint interview as a newlywed couple.  Interestingly, Tyrese unveiled it just one day after an ish storm of abuse accusations swirled the net.  Deets inside...

Tyrese and wife Smaantha Gibson headed to Atlanta to chat with Pastor Creflo Dollar, in a 15 minute interview produced by, you guessed it, Ty's Voltron company.  And here's what we learned:

Tyrese says he's found the woman he can't live without. Samantha says she was hesitant to get involved with him after meeting two years ago and she didn't want to end up like the movie "Temptation." The couple talked about how they deal with "haters" and Creflo applauded them for being a great man and woman of God. Also, Sam said she came from a dysfunctional family background and Tyrese revealed both his mother and father were abusive alcoholic "crack heads".

It's not all love and rainbows this week though for Tyrese.  His ex-wife Norma Gibson just filed for an order of protection from Ty, claiming he severely abused their daughter Shayla Gibson last month.  And we mean SEVERELY.

The website The Blast secured the documents, where Norma goes into detail about the beatings he put their 10-year-old through:

Tyrese is being accused of pinning his daughter to the ground and viciously beating her so hard she was unable to sit down afterwards, and now his ex-wife has received a restraining order seeking protection.

In documents obtained by The Blast, Norma Gibson claims on August 19, while their 10-year-old daughter was staying with the actor, he allegedly “went into a rage, pushed our daughter to the ground, pinned her face down, put his knees on her back, grabbed her hands with one arm and beat her with the other.”

She said Shayla even begged for mercy, and that the incident was all over Shayla going into her own piggy bank:

She claims the fight started after Tyrese accused his daughter of “stealing her own piggy bank money that she received for her birthday.”

Norma claims the child was beaten again several times after she “begged for mercy, ” and screamed, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry!  Please stop! You’re hurting me!”

She says their daughter later told her, “mum, dad beat me so hard that it hurts when I sit down.”

The order of protection has been granted, as of today, and the exes are set to head back to court on October 2nd.  Norma says she's also worried Tyrese will "abduct" their daughter and take her to Dubai where he has significant influence, and she may not be able to bring her home again.

Tyrese is denying it all, even though this is not the first time he has been accused of domestic abuse.  Norma also accused him a few years ago of beating her while she was pregnant.

He even gets petty in an Instagram post telling Norma he's sorry she never re-married and sorry they split up. 

 

All I wanna do is co/parent nothing else...... Please.... Stick and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt...... I've only prayed that your heart heals and we live our lives separately and peacefully on behalf of our daughter...... There's someone out here for everybody - Norma I know you can see this, I'm sorry I got re-married, I'm sorry we didn't work out I'm sorry you haven't been able to find another man since we separated...... Sometimes you get married and have kids and things just don't work out, but I have NEVER wished harm on you....... I was hoping by now you got over what we used to be... Being bitter, resentful and just felt out mean will has never been good for our daughter .... But I see the attacks just won't stop so I believe this too will pass and God and the courts will reveal the truth..... I want you to know I still love you and wish you the best in all that you're looking to do... I just simply wanna co-parent and raise Shayla to be a respectful, decent, smart angel that I know she is... Paint your picture but God knows the truth...... if I was a bad dad I wouldn't of went from 80/20 to 70/30 to 60/40 to 50/50 custody in my favor...... All of the honorable fathers and parents out here keep fighting the good fight you may embarrassed at times but in the end the kids will always run into the arms of the ones who really has their backs in a great father not because I'm famous with money but because I am - that's my story and I'm sticking to it.... More truths coming soon....... Child custody family issues are the worst.......

Solange is gracing the cover on yet AnOther magazine. Find out what she said about how she became an artist, plus what Gabrielle Union and CNN’s Angela Rye were up to at North Carolina A&T inside…

Since stepping into the limelight, Solange has always been known as Beyonce’s younger sister. But, chick has carved her own lane in the music AND fashion industry as a boss in her own right.

Solo’s most recent album, A Seat At The Table, is a testament to that. It was her first number-one album on the Billboard 200 and it even helped her cop her very first Grammy Award.

Solange started writing songs at the age of 15 and that’s when she realized that not only did she want to write songs, she also wanted to perform them as an artist. The songstress covers the newest issue of AnOther magazine where she opens up about how she fell in love with making music.

“I began writing really depressing songs about my world collapsing,” she laughed in retrospect. She shared one of these songs with Beyoncé’s bandmate Kelly Rowland, who asked a then 15-year-old Knowles if she would consider writing some songs for her forthcoming solo album. Knowles asked her parents to book her studio time and in eight hours she had laid down six songs, three of which were so personal to her that she “didn’t want anyone else to have them. I never thought that I wanted to be a singer until that point. But it was through writing those specific songs that I realized I could not imagine anyone else performing them and that is really how I evolved into wanting to be an artist.”

Since the release of A Seat At The Table, Solo has been all over the world performing her tracks, connecting with her fans.

“It has been quite a journey to tour this album, to say the least,” she said. “To be able to connect on the road with people who this album has reached and touched is incredibly rewarding. Especially because in some places, I’ve seen very few people of colour. It has overwhelmed me in such a powerful way. I have the utmost gratitude that essentially myself and my band can just be used as vessels for communication.”

As you know, Solo is very outspoken, especially when it comes to women’s rights and social injustice. She explained why she goes so hard for her people.

“It was really about the idea of who belongs in some of these spaces and institutions that have historically told us either we don’t belong or if we do belong we have to behave and look a certain way,” she continued. “There were a lot of challenges that came up [with the Guggenheim performance] that made me feel like I couldn’t do it, that I had taken on a load that was much bigger than I could handle, but I knew I was gonna pull through, and it was just phenomenal. Much bigger than me. I will revere and remember that feeling forever.”

Racism and sports! The blacks are standing strong behind Jemele Hill over at ESPN, plus see how baseball fans brought racism to the center of the game inside...

Why is everyone doing the absolute most when it comes to a black women speaking her mind and spitting FACTS? Nevermind, we know the answer.

Ever since ESPN SC6's host Jemele Hill spoke her mind on her PERSONAL Twitter account about #45 being a white supremacist, white folks have been at her neck. ESPN didn’t waste any time to distance themselves from her comments and then the White House had the NERVE to call for Jemele to be fired. Right, as if there wasn’t any pressing world news to talk about.

Now, reports are popping up that ESPN is working hard behind-the-scenes to take Jemele off the air. The network big wigs have even gone so far as to ask other black ESPN hosts to fill her spot. Luckily, they’re all standing with her!

Sources tell ThinkProgress that ESPN executives have reached out to several black ESPN hosts to take over “SC6,” but none of them are with it. Even her co-host Michael Smith.

The site reports:

ESPN originally tried to keep Hill off the air on Wednesday evening, but [Michael] Smith refused to do the show without her, the sources said. Both sources also said that producers reached out to two other black ESPN hosts, Michael Eaves and Elle Duncan, to ask them to serve as fill-ins for the show — but Eaves and Duncan did not agree to take the place of Hill and Smith, either.

However, ESPN is denying those claims.

“Yesterday was a hard and unusual day, with a number of people interpreting the day without a full picture that happened,” Rob King, the senior vice president for news and information at SportsCenter, told ThinkProgress. “In the end, ultimately, Michael and Jemele appearing on the show last night and doing the show the way they did is the outcome we always desired.”

“We never asked any other anchors to do last night’s show. Period,” ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz emailed ThinkProgress after this story was published.

Racism became the hot topic of the moment during Wednesday’s Red Sox-Athletics game at Fenway Park in Boston. A group of fans unveiled a controversial banner that reads “Racism is as American as baseball.” Where is the lie?

If it wasn’t clear at first, the banner is anti-racism, since acknowledging its existence is step one to erasing it.

One of the banner holders (who decided to remain anonymous) told the media the idea came after Orioles star Adam Jones opened up about being called the N-word and having peanuts thrown at him and being called the N-word on multiple occasions.

"The banner came in response to the racist comments at the beginning of the season at Fenway," said one banner holder.“Overall, we saw, we see Boston continually priding itself as a kind of liberal, not racist city, and are reminded also constantly that it’s actually an extremely segregated city.”

Shortly after they rolled out the banner, umpires asked security to remove the fans and the banner.

The banner holder continued, “It has been for a long time, and that no white people can avoid the history of racism, essentially. So we did this banner as a gesture towards that, to have a conversation about that.”

Not mad. At least they got their point making everyone uncomfortable - across to the masses.

There’s talk that a Charlie & The Chocolate Factory reboot could possibly be in the works. And if it happens, fab directress Ava DuVernay would be on board.

So, there's this: Did you know that the original Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (1954) book was supposed to star a BLACK lead character? It never happened because the book’s author Roald Dahl was dissuaded by his agent to make him white. Go figure.

During an interview with BBC Radio, Roald’s widow Liccy Dahl revealed,“His first Charlie that he wrote about was a little black boy."

Dahl’s biographer Donald Sturrock chimed in and said, "It was his agent who thought it was a bad idea, when the book was first published, to have a black hero. She said, ‘People would ask why.’”

Yvonne Orji is gearing up to make her feature film debut.

The “Insecure” star will joinKevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish in the upcoming adult comedy, Night School.

The film will follow a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in the long-shot chance they’ll pass the GED exam. "24" alumna Mary Lynn Rajskub has also joined the cast.

Kev’s Hartbeat Productions is behind the project in collaboration with Will Packer Productions. Not only that, Kevin wrote the script for the Universal film alongside Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, Matt Kellard and Nick Stoller.

Will Packer and Malcolm D. Lee are set to produce and Malcolm will helm the film.

We're keeping our fingers crossed this comedy kills it like Girls Trip!

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have finally found common ground when it comes to their 10-month-old daughter Dream Kardashian. The custody war reached high levels after Rob exposed Chyna’s nudes on social media. Now that the dust has settled, Dream’s parents have come to an agreement they both can live with.

According to TMZ, Chyna will receive a whopping $20,000/month in child support. She originally wanted $50,000/month but Rob drew the line at $10,000/month. However, Rob decided to pay $20K/month if she would drop her domestic violence allegations. After Rob’s explosive social media meltdown, Chy filed a restraining order against him after she made accusations that he abused her. She also said he threatened to kill himself.

Outside of Dream’s basic needs, the $20K will also go towards nannies to ensure she’s safe. It’s reported Rob is concerned with Chyna’s parenting skills, so with extra nannies around, he’ll feel more comfortable.

As for custody of Dream, they spilt their time with her 50/50. By the way, Rob is also paying for Chyna’s legal fees.

Glad they got this cleared up.

“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” stars/enemies Masika Kalysha and Alexis Skyy may possibly have to put their beef behind them for the sake of their children if the rumors are true. Y’all know these two hate each other because Masika allegedly got pregnant with Fetty’s daughter while he was supposedly in a relationship with Alexis.

It’s being reported by The Shade Room that Alexis Skyy is allegedly pregnant with Fetty’s baby. The aspiring singer (yeah, she apparently sings) recently posted SnapChat videos inside of Fetty’s house and the two have started following each other on Instagram.

Kevin Hart is caught up in some ish.  He posted up a video late Saturday night apologizing to his pregnant wife Eniko Hart and kids for being involved in a sexually suggestive video a woman is attempting to extort him over.  All the details inside...

Reportedly, someone has been threatening Kevin with the release of a video that will definitely lead the public to believe sex went down. 

Kevin doesn't admit anything happened, but he's apologizing for even being the situation.  He also says "he has a target on his back."  Interesting that he knows this, yet still puts himself in these positions.  Yeah, you're not the victim here Kev.

Here's the tea:

Sources tell TMZ a woman has allegedly demanded money from Kevin after shooting a video with him in which Kevin and the woman are engaged in "sexually suggestive" conduct. We are told it is NOT a sex tape, but looks like it is a prelude to sex. We're told that at a point in the tape when the action is the heaviest, you cannot actually see Kevin.

Kevin's rep is issuing a twisty denial saying he was set up...but doesn't deny he participated:

A rep for Kevin tells us ... "Someone tried to set Kevin up in a failed extortion attempt. As law enforcement is involved, we cannot comment further as it could affect the investigation."

Hmph.

It's unclear if this is related to that other video from a couple months ago that was quite sketchy, involving Kevin kiki'ing with a woman outside his hotel at 5am.  he denied that and laughed it off as nothing.

It's also unclear when this video currently being discussed was shot.  But it sounds like a doozy:

Sources who have seen the video tell TMZ there are several clips. The first appears to show a woman and Kevin in a club getting cozy. The tape then cuts to a bed, where you don't see the people in the bed ... but hear creaking and  what could be people having sex. You never see Kevin in the 2nd clip. The 3rd clip shows 2 people milling around a room, one of them looks vaguely like Kevin.

The person is reportedly demanding Kevin pay up to prevent its release.  So he taped this video to get in front of this messy ass situation:

He dedicated his "Story of O.J." track off his 4:44 album to the slighted QB.  It's all about blackness and money, so it makes sense. Perfect way to do his first headlining concert in three years in his hometown.

When T.I. tried to drag Wendy (without dragging her) for her capital P body, as she calls it, chick was unbothered.

Nick Cannon hits the streets of St. Louis to protest after a former police officer was let off the hook after killing a black man. Also, surveillance video of Chicago teen Kenneka Jenkins on the night of her death has been released. Get all of the details inside…

Nick Cannon is very vocal when it comes to standing up against social and racial injustices. And yesterday, he took his activism to the streets.

The “Wild ‘N Out” host whipped out his Colin Kaepernick jersey and hit the streets of St. Louis to protest alongside protestors. People are fuming after the acquittal of a former police officer, Jason Stockley, who was charged with first-degree murder of 24-year-old Anthony Lamar Smith in 2011. It's rumored the officer planted the gun on Anthony and he used that as his self-defense claim.

The YBF comedian/actor peacefully marched alongside hundreds of people in the streets in downtown St Louis. He also snapped flicks with fans who were happy to see him out showing support.

Surveillance video of the 19-year-old Chicago girl who’s body was found in a hotel freezer was recently released.

Police are investigating the mysterious death of Kenneka Jenkins after she was found dead inside of a freezer at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare Hotel last weekend. She and a few friends had gone to the hotel for a party (Friday, September 9th) and she mysteriously ended up dead and no one knows what happened. The story has taken over headlines as conspiracy theories have been popping up left and right on social media about what actually happened.

After a night of partying and drinking Friday night, her friends couldn’t find her when they were ready to leave. They ended up driving Kenneka’s mother’s car (Kenneka’s mom lent her to drive) back to her home to inform her mother they couldn’t find her. The next day (Saturday, September 10th), Kenneka’s mom was given the run around as she tried to file a missing persons report. The hotel would not release the security footage until she filed a police report and in order to file a police report, a certain amount of time has to pass. After finally getting a missing person’s report, Kenneka's body was found by police in the hotel’s freezer 1AM Sunday.

Now, the surveillance video of Kenneka inside the hotel has been released to the public. In the clips, you see what is said to be Kenneka stumbling through the hotel, getting on and off the elevator. In the last clip, she is seen stumbling through the hotel kitchen at 3:32AM and that was the last time she was seen before her body was found.

According to CNN, police have 36 hours of surveillance video from that weekend and have publicly released all clips in which Jenkins can be seen.

It seems the videos are raising even more suspicion as people pick apart every detail in each clip. Some folks are saying it’s not the same girl in the video as her body structure looks different. Others are saying the videos have been edited where other people where erased out of the clips.

As of now, Kenneka's autopsy results by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office are still pending. By the way, Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare Hotel has offered to pay for Kenneka's funeral arrangements.

The 40-year-old bombshell stood out to be recognized in a black and white polka dot Caroline Herrera dress as she posed it up alongside her “Scandal” co-star Bellamy Young. Kevin Hart had the Internet in a tizzy when he publicly apologized last night to his pregnant wife Eniko Hart and his children, Heaven and Hendrix Hart, for “bad decisions.” Turns out, his "bad decisions" were in the form of a “sexually suggestive” video with a woman who is NOT his wife. And, as expected, the woman was looking for a quick come up.

The Jumanji actor didn’t fall prey to her extortion efforts, but he isn’t quite off the hook. The woman has released the video and some of it has been leaked online.

TMZ has the rundown on what’s in the video:

The 4 minute and 47-second video is highly produced, with audio from Kevin on various radio shows as the video rolls. The video cuts to a bedroom scene where it appears 2 people are having sex on a bed. You can't see the people in the bed, but afterward you see a naked man walking in the room and it definitely looks like Kevin.

During the video you hear Kevin in interviews talking about being young and unfaithful in his first marriage but now that he's 36 he's learned to handle things differently, especially since it's so easy to get caught.

The full video hasn’t been released just yet, but a snippet of it where she blasts him has been.  And she's not hiding her desire to get paid.

She made claims the comedian started raising money for relief efforts as damage control because he knew the video could possibly be released and hurt his reputation.

"The real reason Kevin Hart orchestrated the Texas Hurricane Relief Fund, this so-called good deed was done to get ahead as he knew this damaging footage was one click away from being exposed as the liar and cheater he is. Kevin Hart was privy to me wanting to expose him as I have made countless attempts to expose this information to various blogs, in an attempt to also get paid."

People in Kevin's camp denied her claims that Kevin started the hurricane relief efforts to help his image. Now, the FBI is investigating the matter and reportedly have a suspect. It's unclear if it's the woman who leaked the video.  It's also unclear exactly when the video was taken.
