Just when you thought you knew everything there is to know about Blac Chyna, she comes with another curve ball.

The Lash Boutique owner is looking to jump start a music career as a rapper. Apparently, starring in Yo Gotti’s new video “Rake It Up” with Nicki Minaj has inspired her to take on a new career path.

Sources from Chyna’s camp tell TMZ the mom-of-two is serious about her new music career and is already in the studio working on new material. They say Chy will be rapping, singing and doing “poetry music.”

Deep sigh.

And get this…

She allegedly has meetings lined up with a few record labels in L.A. Not to mention, she already met with execs at Capital Records. So yeah, this seems to be a real thing.

Hmm…should Rob Kardashian be concerned about a diss track? Allegedly she has said that's not what she's into.  But, her good friend Nicki could help her out, right?

LL Cool J is being honored for his contributions to Hip Hop with a major award.

The 49-year-old entertainer is making history as the first rap solo artist to be honored at the Kennedy Center Honors, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. And it’s a big deal as its one of the highest honors you can receive as an entertainer.

Singer Lionel Richie, TV writer/producer Norman Lear, singer Gloria Estefan, and dancer Carmen de Lavallade will also be honored during the event.

“I am blown away,” LL told the Washington Post. “This is the biggest musical award you can receive. To be recognized by your country, and to be able to represent hip-hop as an art form is amazing. I’m surprised, grateful, humbled and honored.”

 

My late grandmother passed some wise advice to me: 'If a task is once begun, never leave it ‘til it’s done. Be thy labor great or small, do it well or not at all.' That adage has guided everything I have ever done in my life and I couldn't be more grateful because it has led me here. Several of your fave YBF stars gathered together at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills to attend the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Grants Banquet. The HFPA presented more than $2.8 million in funds to nonprofit entertainment-related organizations, foundations and scholarship programs with the help of some star-studded support.

Fab directress Ava DuVernay took the stage to accept a grant on behalf of The American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women, a tuition-free program that provides mentorship and hands-on training to increase the number of female directors. Y'all know Ava is all about actual women empowerment! 

During the acceptance speech, Ava asked, “Did you know that in the 1920s and 30s more than 300 films were directed by women?”

“Sad how times have changed later on in our ‘modern’ age. Women in film – or rather lack thereof – have been a big point of discussion in these past few years and thankfully efforts are being made to change the appalling statistics.”

Wow. Learn something new everyday.

“How To Get Away With Murder” star Aja Naomi King and Captain America star Anthony Mackie accepted a grant on behalf the Columbia University, School of Arts Film Division.

The duo expressed the importance of education and shared their own personal stories. “My parents really wanted me to go to college and get a real job,” said Aja. “I graduated from Yale with a masters degree in fine arts.”

Anthony followed up, “I can’t compete with your masters degree, but like you I actually studied my craft. First at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts in my hometown and then at Juilliard… which is better than Yale.”

Yikes! Deion Sanders’ son Shilo Sanders lets the world know he’s more than happy to be back in his mother Pilar Sanders' custody.  And he threw some shade at his pops. Find out what he said inside…

It’s no secret Deion Sanders and Pilar Sanders went through one of the messiest celeb divorces…ever.

Their 14-year marriage crumbled and they both aired out their dirty laundry via social media and everywhere else. There were accusations of infidelity, domestic abuse, child abuse and money drama. Not only that, they were at each other’s necks over custody of their three children. Eventually, Deion was awarded full custody.

Now, their eldest son Shilo Sanders is chiming in. Apparently, Pilar has won back custody of the kids, and Shilo is here for it. He posted an Instagram picture of himself and his mother thanking the court system for reuniting him with his mother. And he even threw in a shot at his dad.

The 17-year-old wrote, “After what seems like forever, I'm finally officially back full time with my mom! My mom having full custody of me is all I have wanted for years, Thank you to the court system for finally seeing the truth, and putting me in a healthy loving environment.”

Wow. He clearly wasn’t feeling living with the NFL Hall of Famer.

You’ll recall, Deion filed a defamation suit against Pilar where a judge ordered her to cough up $2.2 million.

It seems Shilo’s parents’ drama started having an affect on him. His parents were hit with a lawsuit after he brutally attacked a Dallas high school employee for taking his cell phone.

Things appear to be on the up and up now though. Shilo has been offered a full ride at SMU on a football scholarship. He has also received offers from Oregon and Texas A&M back in June. At least he got something out of being his Hall of Famer dad's son: Good athletic genes.

Folks are having a field day with rumors of "RHOA" star Sheree Whitfield and her alleged locked up lover Tyrone Gilliam.

Remember the guy in season 4 who Sheree' called up during the epic argument between her and co-star NeNe Leakes, who walked out and said, "I'm Rich Bitch"?  We received false tea from someone claiming Tyrone is far more than just a friend. 

"Sheree' and Tyrone have always been close friends and continue to support each other," Sheree's rep exclusively tells TheYBF.com. "The rumors of being married are not true at all."

As for the wifey shirt pic, there's an explanation for that too.  Apparently, it's not new and was circulating a year ago, before these rumors started.

"The pics are from one of the only times she'd ever visited him, and it was August 2016," her reps tell TheYBF.com. "They're old pics and not recent."

Sheree's team doesn't deny their friendship saying, "She's not denying they're friends and close, but married is a stretch."

The divorcé is even calling on higher powers to help her find a "grown man."

Sterling K. Brown, Susan Kelechi Watson and the entire “This Is Us” cast to dish on what fans can expect in the upcoming 2nd season, including Sylvester Stallone joining the cast in a guest-starring role.

The cast revealed fans will get a little more backstory on how Sterling’s character Randall was adopted, questions will be answered about Jack’s (Milo Ventimiglia) death, and Randall’s dad William (Ron Cephas Jones) isn’t going anywhere even after he died last season.

“Steve Harvey Show” and “Little Big Shots” host Steve Harvey popped up on the scene looking like a bag of money.

Remember that memo Steve shot off to his “Steve Harvey Show” staff that made headlines? He requested the staff NOT to talk to him unless he speaks to them first. Of course, he was asked about the memo during the panel and he said he thought it was “cute” until he saw the story make it to CNN.

“I was OK until I saw it on CNN and then I knew I was in a lot of trouble,” Steve said. “It’s not a big deal to me. I’m not a mean-spirited guy. I’m a congenial guy.” He likened the memo to coming home to a house full of kids and telling them, “you just need a moment.”

He continued, “I thought it was cute. You all did not.”

Outside of his two NBC shows, Steve also hosts "Family Feud," "Celeb Family Feud," "FUNDERDOME" and his syndicated radio show. He's one busy man!

Usher's herpes saga just got messier, if that's even possible.  Details on the latest lawsuits on the way, and the shocking place they're coming from...

While he performs around the country with Dave Chappelle this week, Usher is catching heat from more lawsuit threats.  This time, two more women -- and one man -- are gearing up to file papers.  All three, two of whom lawyer Lisa Bloom says will remain anonymous, claim to have had sex with Usher after 2012.  They say he never revealed he had Herpes.

TMZ reports:

Celebrity attorney Lisa Bloom says she'll file the suit Monday in California and hold a news conference in NYC to correspond with the filing. One of the women will appear at the news conference. The 2 others will remain anonymous and will appear in the lawsuits only as Jane Doe and John Doe.

Meanwhile, his current wife Grace Miguel allegedly says she's not going anywhere.

Reportedly, she's not buying the STD claims and says the woman who filed the $20M lawsuit has a history of being sue-happy with Usher.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ ... Grace isn't concerned at all about the allegation Usher slept with a woman, who sued as Jane Doe, at least twice this year. We're told Grace, who's been Mrs. Ush for 2 years, isn't giving the lawsuit any weight. 

Our sources say the woman suing has a history with Usher. She was a close friend of his first wife, Tameka Foster, and attended their 2007 wedding. We're told Usher believes she has a thing against him, and has for a long time. That's why Grace is paying her no mind.

Well, what else is she gonna do? Did we really expect anything different? Monday should be interesting though...

Antonio Brown just welcomed his fifth baby into the world, and third with girlfriend ChelsieKyriss.  And the pics of the dancing king and NFL king on newborn baby duty are super cute.  Get it inside, plus rapper Beanie Sigel's brand new bundle of joy...

Just a few months ago, Antonio Brown was no longer in the news for competing on "DWTS," but the Pittsburgh Steelers star was getting dragged by his side chick turned main chick Jena Frumes for leaving her for his (then pregnant) main chick Chelsie Kyriss.

This was all just after Chelsie made her pregnancy announcement and even blasted Antonio for leaving "his obligation to their family" to frolic round with Jena.  Chelsie made a public message saying they'd been together for 6 years and she was tired of people "spreading the wrong information."

When AB actually went back to Chelsie, whom he also shares sons Autonomy and Ali with, all hell broke loose on social media with Jenna throwing all types of shots.

But now, it's all joy as Antonio and Chelsie just welcomed their brand new baby boy Apollo Brown a few days ago!

By the way, it's not just Antonio's fifth baby overall, it's Chelsie's fifth too. She has two kids named Kellen and Brooklyn from a previous relationship.

And if you're wondering if AB can afford having his own football team of kids, it definitely appears so.

Earlier this year, the star NFLer signed a major 4-year deal with the Steelers. He's set to make $18.5 million in the first three years of the contract and $12.5 million in the fourth. The lucrative deal also includes a $19.0 million signing bonus. Sheesh.

He also just copped his 9-year-old son Antonio Jr. a Rolex.

Caribana Weekend went down in Toronto that brought out several YBF celebs for the turn up. Caribana is an annual Caribbean Carnival that goes down every summer that’s full of parties and celebrations all over the city.

LeBron James jetted out to Toronto for the summer festivities as he was tapped to host the Hennessy Daylight party on Friday at the Cabana Pool Bar. The four-time NBA MVP linked up with Toronto’s hometown hero Drake for the fun.

Life after the White House is apparently LIT for the Obama girls! Sasha and Malia Obama had the time of their lives at Lollapalooza and we’ve got the pics and videos to prove it. Get into the former First Daughters’ weekend turn up inside…

So, what are former First Daughters, Sasha and Malia Obama up to after the White House? Living life to the fullest, of course.

The YBF teens made their way to Lollapalooza, an annual music festival that goes down at Grant Park in Chicago (as well as in Chile), over the weekend. And both of the Obama girls were doing the most. Not in a bad way, despite all the social media commentary. In a “just-living-life-like-a-regular-teenager” way.

Someone had their SnapChat rolling when the 16-year-old locked lips with a mystery guy named Matt. We’re not sure who he is, but they seemingly had just met.  He obviously isn’t scared to risk it all:

Chi-town native Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa reunited in their hometown on Saturday. The two rappers hashed out whatever differences they had and have squashed their beef.

During his set, the Coloring Book brought out his old friend to help him perform “Cocoa Butter Kisses.” Vic also performed a track from Vic’s album titled "Didn't I (Say I Didn't)".

On Instagram, Vic posted a picture of himself and Chance with a Jay Z quote, writing, “Nobody wins when the family feuds. THE VIBES ARE BACK.”

Yet another woman has come forward with a lawsuit against Usher with accusations that he exposed her to herpes. And the Internet losing its mind. More inside…

Another day, another alleged Usher victim.

Another woman has come forward with accusations that Usher exposed her to genital herpes after having sex with her.  It seems like ever since that first case where Usher settled a suit by giving $1M to a woman claiming he gave her Herpes, folks are coming out the woodwork with similar claims.

As we told you before, four more people have come forward.  One is suing for several million.  Three more people are unleashing lawsuits and are also being represented by Lisa Bloom.

Quantasia Sharpton did a media conference with Lisa (who’s one of the alleged victims who have come forward) by her side this morning to explain how she and Usher linked up for sex.

She claims she went to his concert to celebrate her 19th birthday (two years ago and before she had a baby) when Usher’s security picked her out of the crowd to meet Ursh. She said a bodyguard asked for her number to give to the “Let It Burn” singer because he was interested. After the show, the R&B crooner called her up, he came to her hotel room and they ended up having sex.

The woman claims she got tested for herpes upon hearing about the previous claims, but the results came back negative. However, she’s upset the singer didn’t tell her he had the disease and "feels violated." Therefore, she’s suing.

Attorney Bloom went on to say that she has been contacted by several other people and they too may be coming out with lawsuits. We know one of the women Bloom is representing has reportedly tested positive for herpes and she is rumored to have been a bridesmaid in his wedding to his ex-wife Tameka Foster. It’s also reported a man has come forward as well.

TMZ reports:

Usher allegedly had vaginal sex with at least one of the 2 women who are suing him for failing to disclose he has genital herpes, and he had oral sex with a male who is also suing him ... this according to a new lawsuit.

According to the suit, obtained by TMZ, all 3 plaintiffs allegedly had sex with Usher, "because Raymond [Usher] was a revered celebrity in their eyes who they believed could be loved and trusted."

The lawsuit claims Usher never told them about a herpes diagnosis. It's important to note, the lawsuit is based on news reports that Usher is carrying the STD and that he settled a herpes lawsuit for $1.1 million a few years back.

The suit claims the 2 women and the man have all suffered severe emotional distress, depression and anxiety. It also says they have experienced embarrassment, shame, anxiety and revulsion.

It has yet to be confirmed if Usher has tested positive for herpes. He has yet to respond to any of the allegations outside of a settement, but one lawsuit maintains his doctor confirmed to her people that he does have the infection.

Bloom says one of the things she wants is a court order forcing Usher to reveal to his future sex partners that he has an STD.  Again, his health status has not been confirmed.

Just hours after she took the press conference stage on live TV, Usher's accuser Quantasia Sharpton is being blasted for being a scammer. Allegedly. Tea inside...

Quantavia Sharpton -- the woman who just did a press conference saying she's suing Usher for exposing her to Herpes -- goes by Angel Valentino on social media. She reportedly says it's "because clearly my name is ghetto and hard to pronounce." Oh.

While going through her Instagram account and others', we found a few nuggets.

And then there's this. She took to her Facebook page a WEEK AGO to tell the world she needed money, and to say she's no longer about to be a "regular girl." Sus AF, if you ask us.

Apparently, this is not the first celeb she has claimed to have smashed.   She talked about getting it in with August Alsina, apparently lied about working at Def Jam, and more.  She has now adjusted her profile bio to say she's vegan:

Since Trump became president, congresswoman Maxine Waters has been our spirit animal clapping back at the leader of the free world every chance she gets. Unlike most, she hasn’t held her tongue about how she feels about the current administration.  And for that, somebody give this woman a crown.

Outside of politics, Rep. Waters is also a Hip Hop lover. Who knew?

The 78-year-old California Congresswoman stopped by Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club” to chat about our current climate, and she also served up how she feels about censorship of rap music.

Rep. Waters’ favorite rapper is the late Tupac Shakur and she revealed why.

“There was a certain sensitivity about him,” she explained. “I got to know his mom. Tupac for me was very special. He was Smart and I loved him.”

She first met Tupac when he and his rapper friends threw an event for Mother’s Day back in the day. She said his song “Dear Mama” introduced her to his music and he felt he was somebody who was brilliant, smart and someone who has a heart and an understanding that a lot of people don’t have.

Auntie Maxine said she has been defending rap music since it was considered “gangsta” music. She felt like rap music opened up a whole new economic opportunity for black people and she’s all about black people building and making a better life for themselves.

“I don’t believe in censorship. I think censorship is unconstitutional. It’s a way of quieting voices that the people of power don’t want to hear.”

So what about the misogynistic lyrics?

“What you don’t want to hear, don’t listen to it. When you start to talk about limiting voices and opinions, I think that’s dangerous in a democracy.”
