We've got updates on two fellas who have had their fair share of troubles.  Check our Bobby Brown's statement, via his lawyer, about his state of rehab.  Plus T.I.'s new vid...

Last week, Bobby Brown entered a confidential rehabilitation center.  And it stemmed from his March arrest for using his cell phone on a public way without a headset and the suspicion of driving under the influence. So Bobby agreed with the State of California to pursue rehab in exchange for the level of charges he would face.  And now his lawyer is speaking for him:

“Mr. Brown takes his agreement very seriously and admitted himself three weeks after concluding his honeymoon in Mexico during a break from the New Edition tour,” said Christopher Brown, Esq. of Brown & Rosen LLC. “Bobby is doing well and receiving services that comply with his agreement with the State of California.”

Bobby's wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown said today, “Bobby’s children and loved ones are very proud of him. We appreciate his fans prayers and well wishes. Bobby is mentally in a good place.”

Interestingly, Bobby's daughter Krissy hinted that rehab wasn't going as well as folks are being made to think.  Yet and still, Mr. Brown will continue on his concert dates with New Edition and his solo concerts which includes September 1, 2012 in Orlando, Florida.

Meanwhile, T.I. is stoll on the comeback tip with his upcoming new album Trouble Man.  Check out the latest video for his single "Go Get It."  As usual, he's showing you just how far he's come in the vid--rags to riches.  All because, we assume, he "went and got it."

Basketball wife Vanessa Bryant has spoken out to deny claims that she's had plastic surgery just to keep her Laker hubby Kobe Bryant from straying. Get the deets inside.....

Vanessa Bryant's camp has spoken out about an outlandish story in The National Enquirer which claims the basketball wife was so insecure about her relationship, that she sought surgery to alter her looks. 

A source explained the 30-year-old's alleged insecurities saying, 'She started freaking out over a few crow's feet, and the next thing you know she was getting a full facial makeover... she is extremely insecure.  She'd do anything to keep Kobe happy.'

No one knows for sure if she did go under the knife, but plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn (who is obviously NOT her doctor) put in his two-cents telling the Enquirer:

'Vanessa appears to have undergone some plastic surgery. Her nose is thin with what appears to be scars at the base of each nostril. In some people, this is a telltale sign of a nose job.'  He added that he lips may have been pumped 'possibly from an injectable filler like Juvederm.'

The newest rumors started after Vanessa landed at the 2012 London Olympics looking "brand new."  But honestly, her nose and lips have been looking quite different for years.

Her reps (surprisingly) responded saying the allegations are '100% not true' and 'ridiculous'.

She may not have gotten that work just for Kobe.  But let's not front like NO work was done.  Just sayin'. 

During a recent interview with NY Magazine, Vanessa revealed that she and Kobe are working to mend their relationship.

Last night, Gabby made a late night stop by Ted Gibson's hair salon in Beverly Hills to get a celebrity glam hook-up any 16-year-old girl would love. The "What Not To Wear" hairstylist and celebrity hair master invited hardworking Gabby to his studio for some much deserved pampering (and hopefully not because of that "hair" controversy--a foolish topic we have purposely not addressed).

Gabby tweeted about how great she felt afterwards:

Ted Gibson Is AWESOME!!! LOVE HIM SOO MUCH!!! A special thank you to my Gold Medal Celebrity Hair Stylist!"

Ted responded:

Though radio reception and buzz over the new Meek Mill, Rick Ross collab with Mariah Carey "Triumphant" has been slow, the record company is still pushing the song.  Mrs. Carey Cannon recently revealed photos from the set of the video which shows Meek Mill dressed as a boxer and headed towards the ring.

Meek tweeted, “I did joints wit Mariah Carey my ni**a!!! Video coming soon it’s crazy!!!!”   “Triumphant” was produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox and kicks off Mariah’s untitled upcoming album.

Also, Mariah will be named a BMI Icon at the Urban Music Awards on September 7 at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills.  Congrats Mimi!

Erykah Badu's last collaboration didn't go over so well as she and he sister both ended up exposing more to the Flaming Lips than they wanted. 

But now Erykah has teamed up with producer Flying Lotus and the result, "See Thru To U" is a quick musical journey. The single appears on Flying Lotus album Until the Quiet Comes, due October 2, and he describes the track as “a collage of mystical states, dreams, sleep, and lullabies.”

Tameka Raymond's world just went from very bad to even worse.  Today in court, Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane in Atlanta has ruled that Tameka will no longer have full custody of her two youngest sons, Usher V & Naviyd.  Her ex-husband, Usher, will become the primary parent.

It's been a long custody battle that pre-dates the sudden death of Tameka's son Kile Glover.  So today in an Atlanta courtroom, the ruling was that Tameka loses the custody war and primary custody of her sons.

During the courtroom battle, according to TMZ, Tameka claimed her ex-husband Usher was an absentee father who was always on the road.  And she often alluded on Twitter to the fact he and his girlfriend/employee Grace Miguel simply wanted ot take the kids away from Tameka.

Usher claimed Tameka was irresponsible and inattentive. 

Seems the judge took Mr. Raymond's side.  The kids will be with him primarily.  And Tameka does maintain some custodial rights that have not yet been detailed.

Former Hurricanes defensive lineman Warren Sapp has voiced his opinion about the Evelyn Lozada/Chad Johnson fight and he's taking Chad's side and blames Ev for the dust up.  Get the deets inside..........

Former footballer and Chad's fellow Miami native Warren Sapp has thrown in his two cents about the Evelen/Chad fight and he's actually insinuating that Evelyn was the aggressor in the fight.  He told the Miami Times in an interview:

When is the last time one of your homeboys called you and told you, "Let me tell you about this fight at the club last night where this guy and his girlfriend were walking by and he turned around and headbutted the girl." Never. He's taking the rap for it. We don't do that. She did it.

That's a woman that is going to depend on her beauty for the rest of her life to open any door she wants to walk through, and she is going to do what to her forehead? I'm done. [Chad] is a bunch of fun and I am sorry this had to happen to him.

Hmmm....  Warren has had his own domestic violece run in (charges were dropped back in 2010) and unsportsmanlike conduct situations while he was in the league.

During a surprising chat back in Iowa with Oprah Winfrey, Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas (alongside her mom Natalie Hawkins) revealed that her childhood was not easy to deal with as she was bullied.  She also says she often felt like she was isolated and treated "different".

1.  In non-YBF news, there is another Guido in town (Lord help us). Jersey Shore queen Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi gave birth to a baby boy at about 3:00 AM this morning at a hospital in Livingston, New Jersey. The pint-sized reality star, 24, and her fiancé Jionni LaValle have named him Lorenzo Dominic. She wrote on Twitter: "I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic ! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE'S MY WORLD! ?"  A rep for Snooki released a statement, saying: "The world just got another Guido!!! Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the world weighing 6lbs, 5oz. Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!"

Halle has been battling in court with her baby's daddy Gabriel Aubrey over moving Nahla to France with her and fiance Olivier Martinez.  The latest development--Halle is still pressing the judge about the hounding paparazzi here in the states.  But Gabe says she'll "die like Princess Diana" if she moves to Paris due to the paps there. 

Now, TMZ reports, Olivier will take the stand as a witness in the custody case.

Fat Joe teamed with Kanye West and Miguel for his "Pride N Joy" video, which features appearances from other artists like Ashanti and Jadakiss. Also, Avant has reunited with singer turned reality chick  KeKe Wyatt for a new R&B track called "You & I."  Check both out inside....

For his Hype Williams-directed video for "Pride N Joy," Fat Joe brought out Kanye West, Miguel, Jadakiss, DJ Khaled, Roscoe Dash, Busta Rhymes and Ashanti. Each of the celebs taped their scenes for the clip at a studio in Brooklyn.

Explaining why he made the song, Fat Joe said, “I think hip-hop needs to see unity,” said Joe. “This whole song been about unity, bring back that De La Soul, that Tribe [Called Quest].”

Ashanti continues to look hot by the way.  Can't seem to figure out why her singing career stays lukewarm though.

Singer Avant, who'll be performing in Johannesburg on Sept 29, has released a new track featuring his fave collabo partner ("Nothing In This World") KeKe Wyatt.  The track, "You & I," is an R&B balled (written by Avant himself of course) that shows off both of their killer vocals.  It doesn't impace radio until September 10th, but we've got it for you now.

The twosome recorded the song for Avant's upcoming untitled studio album dropping early 2013, and it will also appear on KeKe's forthcoming album.  On the Oct. 1st episode of "R&B Divas," we'll see the two hit the studio to record the song since cameras were rolling during the production.

Meanwhile, now that "R&B Divas" is a hit, KeKe may be on her way to getting the fame and recognition she deserves.

On another note, we're told that we'll get to see just what led to KeKe having such unhealthy relationships with men and what caused her low self esteem when "R&B Divas" sheds light on the abuse she suffered from her father.

Erykah Badu performed in Brooklyn over the weekend for the 8th annual Afro-punk Festival. See her hit the stage inside and pics of Mary J. Blige and D'Angelo performing in Philly.

The 8th annual Afro-punk Festival is going down in Brooklyn at Commodore Barry Park this weekend and features such acts as Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae and Gym Class Heroes.

The festival, which also features the Nike Battle For the Streets Skate Competition, has been described by the NY Times as "rock and rebellion squarely in the category of African-American music.”

Mary J. Blige hit the stage in her signature body-hugging mini jumpsuit for her performance at the Mann Center For Performing Arts in Philadelphia last night.

The performance was a part of the Liberation tour and she tweeted, 'Philly!!! MJB loves you 4 ever!!! Thank u so much for all your love 2night!!!'

Sexy crooners D'Angelo and Melanie Fiona (not pictured) also hit the stage as part of the tour.  Heeeeey D.
