Thanks to his dad Jack, "blackish" star Miles Brown is learning about the good R&B music that young millenials probably now deem "old school." Ugh!

Anywho, there's a dance challenge floating around with Sounds of Blackness'"Optimistic" as the background track, and these two just killed it. 

It only took minutes for it to go viral, so Miles' dad said this afternnoon:

Tyrese had a hert to heart with his "mentor," he says, who shed some light on why his rdiculously judgmental, condescening and unnecessay public remarks were problematic.  regardless of any "truth" to the comments -- which is debateable in itself -- it's not and will never be his place to speak down upon women and their lifestyles.  If you have a homie you're genuinely concerned about, speak to her, privately.  But these sweeping comments about women he deems as hoes, sluts, golddiggers etc. weren't requested or needed.  Especially since he never once has said a word about the men catering to these women, sleeping with these women or tricking off to these women...including himself.

Ty went on with his long apology, on the day of his Fate of the Furious premiere, to say:

My mother taught me better than this..... lesson learned in life you will learn that It's not always "what" you say, it's the "how" we choose to say it. For the record I'm far from a misogynist, a male chauvinist or flat out mean..... My intentions were there but my delivery fucking horrible.... And clearly all the way off.... And for that I sincerely apologize to all of the ladies... Even after this apology.... Some may likely decide to NOT forgive me.... Time and consistency heals all wounds.... Although I've been consistently for years speaking on these topics and some of the same words in my message, I have never experienced what I am experiencing right now. - I've been getting dragged and feel the heat from my poor choice of words and approach to my messages, trust me..... Please accept this as my sincere apology for my poor choice of words - Shit gets real when it goes from a social media dragging to my own wife giving me the side eye and coming at me, even she's not happy with the way I've conducted myself.... it's crazy how non-public figures can say and do some really dumb shit and it will stay amongst your family and friends or local in your hood.... This was def the most hip hop'd out Coachella ever.

Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival 2017 was supposed to feature a headlining performance from Beyonce, but since she’s good and pregnant with twins, her performance was postponed until 2018.

But, Coachella festivalgoers still rocked out to some pretty epic performances. There were plenty of surprises throughout Weekend 1 of the two-weekend festival as well.

On Saturday at the Empire Polo Club, Lauryn Hill -- channeling her inner Little Red Riding Hood-- shocked fans when she popped up on stage during DJ Snake’s set. The R&B queen served up a few of her classics, including the Fugee’s “Killing Me Softly,” “Ready or Not” and then her very own “Lost Ones.”

Rapper Future made his Coachella debut on Saturday night with an electrifying set and a few guests to help make it even more epic. Alongside Ty Dolla $Sign, the ATL rapper kicked off his set with "Blasé" before rocking out to "New Level,” "Same Damn Time" and "Sh*t."

Since Future and Drake collaborated on a whole mixtape, it was only right he brought out the Canadian rapper to assist him during his set. The duo performed hits from What A Time To Be Alive, including “Jumpman.”  Then, Drizzy served up his track "Gyalchester” from his More Life album and his radio hit, “Fake Love.”

Cleveland Police and the FBI are currently hunting down a man who disgustingly shot an elderly man in broad daylight on Easter. Steve Stephens shared the gruesome video on social media and is now on the run from police. Details inside…

A massive manhunt for 37-year-old Steve Stephens is underway after he shot and killed an elderly man in Cleveland, Ohio in broad daylight while on Facebook Live.

The alleged killer hopped out of his car, walked up to 74-year-old Robert Godwin Sr. (father of 9 and grandfather of 14) and fatally shot him in the head on a sidewalk in the Glenville neighborhood. He taped the entire encounter and uploaded the clip on Facebook. It was first reported he posted the murder via Facebook Live. Facebook issued a statement to reveal he filmed the murder live.

“I’m about to kill this guy right here; he’s an old dude,” Stephens said in the video.

Now, the Cleveland Police Department, the FBI and states surrounding Ohio have launched a multistate manhunt for the shooter who’s still on the loose, after issuing an aggravated murder warrant. The search expanded to states including Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana and Michigan. He’s considered armed and dangerous.

Stephens is driving a white Ford Fusion with a temporary license plate reading: E363630, according to police.

In another FB video, Stephens, who is described as a black man who stands 6 feet 1 inch and 244lbs, claims to have killed 13 other people, but those alleged killings have yet to be confirmed.

Apparently, Stephens snapped after his ex-girlfriend, Joy Lane, decided to call it quits. In the video, he talks about how he lost everything and how it’s all Joy’s fault. He claims she’s the reason he’s going on this killing spree. He says Joy “drove him crazy” and that they were supposed to get married one day.  He's clearly mentally unstable.

This morning, Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams announced during a news conference that authorities have followed numerous leads and searched various locations to no avail, saying, “Steve is still out there someplace.”

“We’re still asking Steve to turn himself in, but if he doesn’t, we’ll find him,” Williams added. “We’re not going to stop until he’s in custody.”

Early in the investigation, Chief Williams revealed detectives talked with Stephens on his cellphone shortly after he shot Robert Godwin Sr, but haven’t spoke with him since.

“Early in this investigation we did have contact with him, direct contact. The detectives did of course try to convince him to turn himself in and of course that hasn’t happened to date,” Chief Williams said.

Stephen's ex-girlfriend Joy Lane issued an apology in a text message to CBS News for everything that has occurred and she even defended her ex, calling him a ‘nice guy.’

“We had been in a relationship for several years,” she wrote to CBS New. “I am sorry that all of this has happened. My heart & prayers goes out to the family members of the victim(s). Steve really is a nice guy … he is generous with everyone he knows. He was kind and loving to me and my children. This is a very difficult time for me and my family Please respect our privacy at this time.”

Very odd.

It’s reported Joy is in protective custody for her own safety, as some juvenile and utterly ridiculous people have threatened to kill her too as they now blame her as the reason this happened, while Stephens is at large.

Stephens' mom, Maggie Green, has also come forward to speak on her son’s heinous act(s). She told CNN she tried to stop her son before he went on his rampage to no avail.

Please be safe out there as Stephens is still on the run and is obviously dangerous.  If you see him, do NOT approach him and immediately call the police. Prayers up for the Godwin Family and anyone affected by this tragedy.

Boston Celtics player Isaiah Thomas suffered a tragic lost after his sister was killed in a car crash. A day after her passing, the NBA player hit the court for the first playoff game against the Chicago Bulls, and it was understandably an emotional one. More inside…

One day after losing his younger sister in a tragic car accident, Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas got suited to play in the first game of the 2017 NBA playoffs against the Chicago Bulls held at the TD Garden.

During pre-game warm ups, the All-Star point guard was visibly shaken up after losing his sister, crying on the sidelines. His teammate Avery Bradley went over to console him:

Isaiah’s sister Chyna Thomas, 22, passed away in a one-car crash on Interstate 5 in Tacoma, Washington around 5am on Saturday morning (April 15th). According to reports, his sister died at the scene of the crash and authorities said she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. 

“The witnesses observed the silver vehicle in the left lane just suddenly drift toward the left shoulder, leaving the roadway, said Washington State Patrol Trooper Nick King.

“Unfortunately at that point, (she) drove along a cement railing, a Jersey barrier which vaulted the vehicle up in the air, made it become airborne, and it struck a raised sign structure.”

Isaiah was informed about his sister’s passing during the Celtics’ afternoon practice on Saturday. After some deliberation, he decided to play in last night’s game.

Fighting through grief, the Celtics point guard lead the team onto the floor. He paid tribute to his sister, writing “R.I.P. Lil Sis,” and “I Love You” on his sneakers:

Here we go again.  Chris Brown allegedly "sucker punched" a club photographer at a club in Tampa early this morning.  Details inside...

Breezy is breezing through cities on his Party Tour.  But when he pulled up at his after party in Tampa after performing at Amalie Arena Sunday night, ish was more like a party foul.

Chris, pictured above performing at Miami's American Airlines Arena Saturday night, hit up AJA nightclub for his paid post-performance appearance late last night.  According to the Tampa Police Department, in the wee hours of this morning, Chris allegedly "sucker punched" photographer Bennie Vines, Jr. because he was taking photos. 

Police said that Chris left the club before police arrived.

It's unclear if photos being taken were or were not a part of his contractual agreement to appear.  Either way, if true, punching someone will never end well. Especially not for Chris.

Vines sent TMZ shots of his injuries that he says were caused by Chris.  He says his lip is split and he's headed to the hospital.  He also said he will for sure be pressing charges.

The club posted their side of the story on Facebook saying:

Dear patrons:

Incidents like the ones caused by Chris Brown and his team are very sad to see. As everyone witnessed he showed up to the club at around 1:30am. After only a few minutes of being there, Chris Brown himself and his team assaulted our club photographer and proceeded to walk out of the venue. AJA Channelside and our employees apologize for the inconvenience. Assault charges were pressed and we are dealing with the proper authorities accordingly.

Carmelo & La La Anthony have separated, this according to media reports.  Details inside...

In news most likely didn't see coming, NY Knicks star Carmelo Anthony and tv & movie actress La La Anthony have reportedly separated after almost 7 years of marriage.

Divorce has supposedly not been spoken about, but the couple has allegedly separated with La La having moved out of the family's New York home and into her own place in recent months. She also wasn't seen at what could have been Carmelo's last game with the Knicks last week.

TMZ reports:

Sources close to the couple tell us the actress and NBA superstar are now living separately. La La moved out of the family home last week and has her own place in NYC now.

We're told the couple's had ups and downs in the past, but the current NBA season has been extremely stressful on the marriage for several months. Carmelo's been plagued by trade talks ... with the Knicks looking to move him to another team.

The split hasn't been messy, though, as the two have apparently been amicable:

Our sources say the split is still amicable. They were together just this past weekend at their 10-year-old son Kiyan's basketball game.

The site states the couple has no plans of uprooting their son Kiyan from his New York life.

The last time the couple made an official appearance together was at the Tom Ford show last September during New York Fashion Week (pictured above).
 

La La spoke about Melo on The YBF Podcast just last month, where she talked about the difficulties of juggling it all, especially the family's individual schedules.  Still, it was all love.

It hasn't been the best month for Melo.  There's been plenty of trade/release talk surrounding the long time Knick.  He may have played his last game in a Knicks uniform, and NY Knicks President Phil Jackson told media last week that Carmelo is "better off playing elsewhere."

The couple wed in New York in July of 2010 in front of their closest friends, family and celebs.  If true, here's to hoping these two work it out!

During an earlier speech, Congresswoman Waters was all about impeachment talk and she’s not going to stop until he’s no longer president or she’s no longer alive.

"I don't respect this president. I don't trust this president. He's not working in the best interests of the American people,” she said. "I will fight every day until he is impeached," she added, before ushering the crowd in chants of "impeach 45!"

Charlamagne Tha God is dishing the deets on his failed business relationship/friendship with daytime talk show host Wendy Williams in his new book. Sip the tea inside…

It’s not new news that Charlamagne Tha God and Wendy Williams aren’t the best of friends anymore. Despite the daytime talk show host serving as a mentor to “The Breakfast Club” radio personality, the two seemingly had a fall out after hitting the Philadelphia airwaves for three years.

Remember when Wendy tried to play him and said she didn't know who he was? Mmhmm...

Now, nine years later, Charlamagne is ready to spill the tea on what happened between them. In his upcoming memoir “Black Privilege,” Charlamagne reveals he and Wendy are no longer cool over a bad business deal (via RadarOnline). 

After Charlamagne lost his gig with Wendy, he was looking to find a new gig in the Philadelphia area and Wendy’s husband Kevin was supposedly going to help him do that. In the book, Charlamagne claims Kevin demanded a potential employer to pay him $350,000/yr as opposed to their initial offer of $70,000/yr. He claims Kevin was always “extremely aggressive in trying to get more money out of situations.”

“He’d yell at and often threaten people till he got what he wanted,” Charlamagne wrote in his book set to drop April 18th.

The Power 105 radio host said he didn’t want to do business that way, so he told Kevin he was going to approach the company himself and accept $75,000.

The “Guy Code” star said Kevin texted him back in a rage saying,“I’m not f*cking with you anymore. You did some foul sh*t. Lose my number.”

Not only that, Charlamagne claims both Wendy and Kevin were very nasty to their staff. He wrote, “One thing I learned not to do from watching her was to treat the people who work for you poorly. Wendy and Kev could be very cruel to the people who worked under them.”

Things just got interesting on the Gram.  A model is claiming she's pregnant....by Drake.  And chick is serving up papers from the doctor's office.  Does it prove anything?  Deets inside...

Late Monday, IG and booty model Layla Lace posted up some harsh message on Instagram going hard at Drake. She said she guesses this is how people act when they knock up a woman and then avoid her calls and texts. She name checks Drake and accuses him of being fake-nice and lying about his "nice guy" image.

When folks questioned her truth, she provided text receipts of when Drake's homie reached out to her to set up a flight for her to go meet Drake.

Then, she posted up text exchanged between her and Drake after their time together.  The dates of them "hanging out" do match up as Feb 11th was when the Boy Meets World tour kicked off in Manchester.  Does this mean Drake impregnated her that weekend, or that she's pregnant at all?  No necessarily.  But she's surely making a somewhat believable claim.

The reason(s) for Carmelo & La La Anthony's split are coming to light.  And this one's a doozy....

Oh hell no, Melo.

Word on the street is that Carmelo Anthony knocked up a stripper in NYC.  The New York Knick apparently had been seeing this woman "often," and now she's allegedly claiming to be 6 & a half months pregnant.  Chile....

TMZ reveals:

Multiple sources tell us ... the other woman often works at a gentlemen's club in NYC, and we're told she's claiming to be 6 and a half months pregnant with Melo's child. 

We're also told she has made it clear to Melo she expects him to kick in for medical expenses and other baby related costs.

Oddly, the sources claim the mistress' pregnancy was not the deciding factor in their recent split, but La La is for sure PISSED.  The pregnancy does pretty much guarantee any hopes of reconciliation are now dashed.

No word on the other factors that led to the split, but sources do say the couple has been on rocky terms for a while now.

News broke yesterday that The Anthonys have separated after 7 years of marriage.

Facebook killer Steve Stephens shot and killed himself after a pursuit with Pennsylvania police today.  Details inside.

Finally, the man who shot and killed the elderly Robert Godwin on Facebook Live in a random heinous act, is no longer at large.

Pennsylvania police announced moments ago that Steve Stephens was found inside of a McDonald's parking lot in Erie, PA thanks to a citizen's tip.  When they attempted to apprehend Stephens, a short pursuit occured, and ended with Stephens shooting and killing himself.

Steve Stephens was spotted this morning by PSP members in Erie County. After a brief pursuit, Stephens shot and killed himself.

Cleveland police chief Williams would not confirm during today's press conference whether he shot himself in the head. Police also do not yet know if Stephens was receiving help from anyone while he was on the run.  He said today:

"PA State Police received a tip about the whereabouts of Steve Stephens, short pursuit occurred and ended in his death. Our condolences are still w family of Mr. Godwin. You've heard them expressing forgiveness. We need to follow their lead.

We are in the early stages of this investigation. We are taking a slow, cautious approach right now. We're still putting all the pieces together. There is a lot we don't know. Our investigators are on their way. Our federal partners are there already working with PA police.

We ask that you give the family space. For them this is not over.

This started with one tragedy and ended with another person taking his own life. If you are in a dark space. If you think you need help. Reach out.

As soon as we get details, we'll get them out. Detective Ciaccia (PIO): Joint Information Center is still active for media.

Dozens of officers were involved in this case. We couldn't have done this without their help and the help of the public."

The alleged 15 killings Stephens posted about his Facebook page that he committed have yet to be confirmed, but are unlikely true.

Hopefully the family of Robert Godwin can have a sliver of peace of mind knowing their father/grandfather's killer is no longer at large or terrorizing others.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all victims of this situation.

The Rolling Papers rapper rented out a $10 million estate, courtesy of Airbnb, to enjoy his downtime from the stage. It’s the perfect spot it hit up all the Coachella festivities as it’s located in the most desirable section of Palm Desert.

The 7-bedroom, 7,000 square foot mid-century pad hosted Wiz, his son Sebastian and friends for the Easter holiday weekend. The “Black and Yellow” rapper threw a huge Easter celebration for Bash and some friends, including rapper Ty Dolla $ign:

Chance The Rapper celebrated his 24th birthday a few days ago and he was gifted a sick a** birthday cake of his favorite meal. Oh, and he used his special day to give back to the Chicago Public Schools district yet again. Get it all inside…

Chance The Rapper loves his hometown of Chicago! The Chi-town native jetted to the town that raised him to celebrate his 24th birthday. And his birthday cake was out of this world.

Alliance Bakery gifted the philanthropist with a customized Harold’s Chicken Shack-themed two-tier cake (everybody's fave Chi Town chicken spot). It featured fried chicken wings and French fries covered in hot sauce made out of fondant. The cake’s inspiration came from Chance’s favorite meal: a 7-piece chicken wing plate with fries, hot sauce and a Strawberry-Kiwi Mystic from the Chicago eatery.

To continue the birthday festivities, the Grammy Award winner hit up Studio Paris nightclub for some fun. Rappers Ludacris and T-Pain were in the club for the birthday turn up:

Even though he was celebrating his birthday, Chance was partying for a good cause. The event raised more than $100,000 for Chicago Public Schools via Chance’s charity, SocialWorks, according to Chicago.Eater.com. He's serious about helping out his city and we're not mad about it.
