Soulja Boy just can’t let go of his beef with Chris Brown.

The two were set to duke it out in a celebrity boxing match, but Breezy ended up cancelling the fight because he had concerns about all of the extra hands in the pot trying to make a quick come up. And Soulja is STILL pissed.

Right after the “Loyal” singer announced he was dropping out of the match, Soulja took to social media to call him out. Now, the “Crank That” rapper is firing shots at the Grammy Award winner at his concerts.

Over the weekend, Soulja unleashed a verbal beat down aimed at Chris during a concert in Minneapolis. He claims the REAL reason Breezy backed out of the fight is because he’s SCARED.

While Soulja is poppin' off on Chris, someone else shared a soft spot for the singer....

Daytime talk show host Wendy Williams added Breezy to her hot topic segment following the explosive Billboard expose that was released about his alleged drug addiction last week.

We assume Breezy’s alleged drug allegations hit close to home for Wendy since she too battled with drug addiction. While talking about the accusations, Wendy broke down in tears and even more so when she brought up Breezy’s mother’s abusive past.

"This is serious and I think there are many people in his camp who are enjoying the spiralization. His mother, who he watched allegedly get beat up by his step dad when he was growing up, apparently hasn't gained her strength or her respect from him... He has nobody in his life at this point."

Chrissy Teigen opens up about battling postpartum depression in hopes to help other new moms who are dealing with the same issue. More inside…

Becoming a first time mom is a lot of work. You have to learn how to take care of the little person who had been growing inside of you the last 9 months. On top of learning the ropes of motherhood, you continue with your everyday life – go to work, cook, clean, etc. It can become overwhelming. Even for new moms who get tons of help like Chrissy Teigen.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model welcomed her daughter Luna (whom she shares with her husband John Legend) in April 2016. If you follow Chrissy on social media, her life is seemingly perfect.

But, the New York Times best-selling cookbook author was struggling with an issue very real to many new mothers: postpartum depression.

Chrissy wrote an essay to mothers everywhere for GLAMOUR magazine’s April 2017 issue (that she also covers) where she opens up about a vulnerable topic she had never spoken about before. She talked about how life just didn’t seem the same after giving birth and the moment she was diagnosed with postpartum.

"Before the holidays I went to my GP for a physical. John sat next to me. I looked at my doctor, and my eyes welled up because I was so tired of being in pain. Of sleeping on the couch. Of waking up throughout the night. Of throwing up. Of taking things out on the wrong people. Of not enjoying life. Of not seeing my friends. Of not having the energy to take my baby for a stroll. My doctor pulled out a book and started listing symptoms. And I was like, ‘Yep, yep, yep.’ I got my diagnosis: postpartum depression and anxiety".

Before being diagnosed, Chrissy said she hadn’t realized she suffered from the disease.

“Before this, I had never, ever—in my whole entire life—had one person say to me: “I have postpartum depression.” Growing up in the nineties, I associated postpartum depression with Susan Smith [a woman now serving life in prison for killing her two sons; her lawyer argued that she suffered from a long history of depression], with people who didn’t like their babies or felt like they had to harm their children. I didn’t have anything remotely close to those feelings. I looked at Luna every day, amazed by her. So I didn’t think I had it.”

“I also just didn’t think it could happen to me. I have a great life. I have all the help I could need: John, my mother (who lives with us), a nanny. But postpartum does not discriminate. I couldn’t control it. And that’s part of the reason it took me so long to speak up: I felt selfish, icky, and weird saying aloud that I’m struggling. Sometimes I still do.”

The “Lip Sync Battle” co-host said she decided to open up about it to help raise awareness about the issue and to let people know it could happen to ANYONE.

“I’m speaking up now because I want people to know it can happen to anybody and I don’t want people who have it to feel embarrassed or to feel alone. I also don’t want to pretend like I know everything about postpartum depression, because it can be different for everybody. But one thing I do know is that—for me—just merely being open about it helps. This has become my open letter.”

While she still has some bad days, she said “the days that used to be all my days—are gone.” She’s now taking antidepressants and is seeing a therapist.

Postpartum depression is actually pretty common for new mothers, so if you or someone you know are showing any signs of it, seek help NOW.

The model and her husband trekked it to Miami over the weekend to attend a friend's wedding.  She looked to be all smiles.

After announcing his Big3 League and releasing the funny film Fist Fight, there is talk that the actor/rapper/producer will be entering the world of animation. He’s supposedly in talks to lend his voice for a major character in the forthcoming animated movie.

It’s rumored that Cube is being eyed by Sony Pictures for the role of Jefferson Davis, Miles Morales’ father in the upcoming Spider-Man movie. It was brought up during the newest episode of “Meet The Movie Press” by co-host Jeff Sneider.

It’s interesting to note, similar rumors were circulating around this time last year. Cube told Complex, “If I’m not playing Spider-Man, I’m not doing sh*t…I’m not about to play one of these side busters.”

Guess he had a change of heart.

Oscar winner Octavia Spencer made her debut as the host of “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend. While she did an amazing job, everyone isn’t pleased with one of the skits she performed in.

In the skit, the Hidden Figures star portrays a woman suing a pharmaceutical company for stealing her family and friends' names to use as the name of their drugs. Yes, it’s a joke on black people’s names and some folks are pissed about it.

Kae and Chris are set to appear in court on Thursday (March 9th) as Kae will be seeking a more permanent restraining order against him after she was granted a temporary restraining order.

The new order will demand Breezy steer clear of her for 3 years or he’ll be hauled off to jail. But, sources tell TMZ she’s preparing her case for a permanent restraining order. It’s unclear if she’ll have to take the stand, but she may not be afraid to do so to get him out of her hair for good.

Things could get awkward (and difficult) for Breezy being that they still mix and mingle in the same circles and often hit up the same spots.

Monday, U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Ben Carson addressed his employees in Washington, DC. for the first time since he took office.  He tried his damndest to give an inspirational introductory speech, but that piece crashed and burned.  Totally.

While speaking about immigrants, he said that people who came over to America at the bottom of slave ships and worked for far less were also immigrants.

Nah, Ben.  They were called slaves.  They didn't just "come over," they were ripped from their own families and forced against their will to come to America.  And they didn't work for "far less," they worked for nothing.  Zip, zero, zilch.

Coloring books for everybody!  Chance The Rapper put his money where his mouth is...to the tun of $1 million.  Find out how he's playing superman for Chicago Public Schools inside....

Chicago's own Chance the Rapper is up to his good, well GREAT, deeds again.  He announced Monday that he plans to donate $1 million to Chicago public schools. And that's not all. 

The Coloring Book rapper, who remains independent and unsigned, also called upon private businesses and corporations to donate money to the school system.  In addition to the one millie, Chance says every $100,000 in donations he will donate an additional $10,000 to individual schools to further support arts education.

"The check that I donated is a call to action. I'm challenging major companies and corporations Chicago and across the U.S. to donate and take action," he said during a press conference today at Westcott Middle School in the Chi.

One business owner has already taken him up on his challenge.  Chop Shop, a restaurant/deli/butcher in Wicker Park, announced they would donate $1 from every sandwich sold this week to the Chicago Public Schools Foundation.

These big moves come after he met with Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner about school funding last Friday, and he says the talks failed.

"Our kids should not be held hostage because of political positioning," Chance revealed.

Decked out in matching outfits, CiCi and her baby boy are all smiles as they cuddle in front of the camera for the mother-son shoot in Harper’s Bazaar. The R&B singer also flosses her growing baby bump in a few shots solo for a fierce set of pregnancy shots.

With a new album and a new baby on the way, Ciara has her hands full. "When you know they're going to be your champion, always in the corner..." I joke that her quarterback is a cheerleader, and she agrees. It's too rare to have straight men back us up, I say. "If someone's not supporting you and your vision and your dreams," Ciara agrees, "—whether it's your relationship partner, your friend, whomever, then you've got to make sure to keep it moving. If people aren't lifting you up, even if you're the strongest person in the world, eventually it does chip away at you. You don't even realize that you're losing yourself. And that's the scariest place to be in life… I don't want to lose myself. I love myself too much. I love life too much."

2. She’s come to realize that being vulnerable is a form of strength.

"Once you're able to really be truly truthful with yourself, it's life changing," she says. "You have way more compassion than you imagine, you're sensitive to the right things." Ciara learned the strength in vulnerability, she tells me, through the birth of her first son. Baby Future taught her patience, "above all."

3. Future Jr. is more than excited to become a big brother.

"He'll randomly pull my shirt up and be like, 'I want to see the baby,'" Ciara says. "'Hello, baby. How you doing, baby? I love you, baby. Okay, talk to you later, baby. Bye, bye.' Then he'll kiss me on my belly and put my shirt back down."

4. Ciara knows how to block all the hate, especially when Internet trolls try to pit her against another powerful black woman.

"There's this unspoken word: love. When you meet successful powerful women, you show each other love, because it is a tough environment."

5. She’s ready to make the world dance with her upcoming album and she’s at an incredible place in her life right now.

"I want to make the world dance."

"I'm just super excited about this time in my life. Like, Oh my gosh, I can see my son running around, and soon it's going to be two of these creatures running around! Our hands will be full of non-stop action."

True indeed.

Life after prison is more than good for Guwop!

Gucci Mane and his fiancée Keyshia Ka’oir bring their Atlanta love to GQ Style. The Wopsters are featured in the fashion magazine and they’re all wrapped up in love.

Keyshia shared the lovey dovey photoshoot flicks on her social media accounts. It’s unclear if the lovebirds will be featured on the cover or if its just a photoshoot, but we do know they look great in the pictorials.

Gucci and Keyshia are currently wedding planning for their upcoming nuptials on October 17th after Gucci popped the question courtside at a Hawks game back in November. Congrats again to the happy couple.

"People think it's easy for me because of my family background," Domani tells Paper Magazine. "Some don't want to give me credit or think that everything is just handed. I know I'm breaking out on my own and have my own style, it's not easy for me even though people think it is."

The 16-year-old just dropped visuals to his track “Paris” featuring Bankroll Mafia’s London Jae. He’s not rapping about how much money he has, the designer threads he’s wearing or how many chicks he can pull. He’s serving up mature lyrics about police brutality, homelessness, racism and black-on-black crime.

"I wanted open people's eyes at the end by showing what's really going on in the world today," he says. "There's so much going on all around us, I wanted to reel the audience in and create an emotion."

So dope.

Safaree Samuels does his first televised interview since ish hit the fan when Remy Ma popped off on his ex-fiancee Nicki Minaj on a diss record. After Remy Ma made her way to the “Wendy Williams Show” to give her side on her “beef” with Nicki Minaj, the Head Barb’s ex-fiancé Safaree Samuels made his way on to the show today to give his 2 cents, despite people in Nicki’s camp trying to stop the interview. He confirmed people in her crew did their damnedest to keep him off of the show. Hmph. (Sound familiar?)

The producer made it crystal clear that he played an intricate part in building Nicki’s career (like Remy said in “ShETHER”) and all he wants is to get paid for the work he put in. Hence, why he launched a lawsuit against her for back royalties. Unfortunately for Safaree, since he and Nicki were in a relationship, he figured he didn’t need any paperwork, so he’s hoping that she’ll do the right thing.

His message to Nicki? “Do what’s right. You know what I did, do what’s right.”

He talked about working with the Young Money rapper on her last album, The Pinkprint, and how her working relationship with Meek Mill started to cause friction in their relationship:

“Whether people know it or not, I was apart of the whole creative process up until the last month and a half of it, ’cause the last month we were just going through all the songs and stuff and I found out that there was two songs with him on the album and I’m like, ‘Where did…'” He adds, “I just had an instinct. I had an intuition that there was more to it.”

Mmhmm…

So what caused him and Nicki to call it quits for good?

“Um, well. The last like year, year and a half, it just got really different," he spilled. “We just grew apart. At the end of the day, Meek [Mill] he had a lot to do with it.”

Well, he just confirmed what we all were thinking.

He added,

“I’m not an angel. I’m not a saint, you know, and at the end of the day I wasn’t 100% happy and I already, mentally, was on my way out. So, I just was like, it’s just a matter of time before I physically leave.”

Safaree also touched on Nicki’s alleged butt enhancements.

“I’m just saying, it’s 2017 and if you’re a woman and you want to feel better about yourself …I’m all for women who want to make yourself look nice. You can do whatever you want to do. It’s your body.”

Will he ever get back with Nicki?“Nah, not at all.”

Jennifer Lopez is one of the hottest chicks in the game. So, who wouldn’t want that JLo glow that she exudes everywhere she goes. Like, she hardly EVER has a bad day.

YBF correspondent James Terrell caught up with the 47-year-old entertainer on the carpet at the season 2 premiere of her cop drama “Shades of Blue” held at The Roxy Hotel Cinema to find out what it takes to shine like she does. And she dished all of the goods.

The singer/actress spilled:

1. “Sleep is underrated. Get a good night’s sleep”

2. “Nobody can get away without working out.”

3. “Being good on the inside will show on the outside.”

So there you have it! Get some rest, hit the gym and work on being a good person. Got it!

While she’s working on a new Spanish album, we had to find out if she could collaborate with one female rap artist, who would it be? Surprisingly (or not), her picks didn’t include the two female emcees who are battling for the Queen of Rap crown. She had someone in particular that she would totally hop on a track with, but she couldn’t think of the person's name at that particular moment. However, she did confirm it was NOT Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma or Lil Kim.

The fashion slayer, rocking a sparkly Zuhair Murad ensemble, made her way down the carpet, snapping it up with her co-star Ray Liotta.

No strangers to crime dramas, “Chicago Justice” stars Carl Weathers and Philip Winchester came out to support.

“This Is Us” actress Susan Kelechi Watson wowed on the carpet in a floral pleated Polite dress. Check out our fashion faceoff with the actress and Tracee Ellis Ross, who also recently rocked the same dress, HERE.

Fashion designer Rachel Roy was also in the mix for the season 2 premiere of the hit cop series.

It seems everyone loves “Underground” just as much as we do.  Watch celebs stan out over the show as we chop it up with them on the red carpet, plus get a sneak peek at the show’s litty season 2 premiere party inside…

WGN America’s “Underground” series quickly became one of fave television shows when it premiered last year. And now, we’re itching for the season 2 premiere that kicks off tomorrow, March 8th.

Oh, and we’re not the only ones. While YBF celebs are busy working on their new projects and making their way to events, they still find time to check out other good ish on tv. And they’re just as obsessed as we are.

“Queen Sugar” star Dawn Lyen Gardner caught up withYBF correspondent MJ on the red carpet at the 2017 ABFF Awards where she gushed about how amazing the show is.

“Underground blew me away. It blew me away!,” she said.

Dawn said she couldn’t watch the series when it initially aired because she was filming for Queen Sugar, but once production was over, she binge-watched and was FLOORED. So were we.

Omarion& Apryl Jones put their issues aside and got on their co-parenting duties to celebrate their daughter A’mei’s first birthday. Get into her Moana themed bash inside…

We love when a former couple can come together for the sake of their kids.

Although Omarion and Apyrl Jones called it quits last summer (and O released that diss track), they joined forces to celebrate their daughter A’mei’s first birthday. They went all out for their baby girl, gifting her a Moana themed party. And the decorations were A1!

Cutie A’mei even dressed the part, looking like a replica of the Disney princess:

Of course, HER big brother Megaa was in the mix to help celebrate. Sheesh! A'mei and Megz look IDENTICAL.

While A'mei had fun getting covered in cake with Jhene Aiko's daughter Namiko Browner, her big bro linked up with Chris Brown and Nia Guzman's daughter Royalty Brown and Eva Marcille and Kevin McCall's daughter Marley Rae McCall on the slide: 

The decorations were so extra, and that's why we love it! We're sure A'mei and her guests had a ball.

Jay Z is making more boss moves. Get the details on his newest VC fund, plus the Town Hall meeting he’s hosting for his documentary about Kalief Browder inside…

If you thought Jay Z was showing any signs of slowing down when it comes to investments, guess again. He’s serious about this investment game. So much so, he’s launching another VC fund.

Last week, we told you the Hip Hop mogul was reportedly joining forces with his longtime business partner/Roc Nation President Jay Brown to launch their own VC fund. Now, there are reports that Jay is launching yet another VC fund called Arrive.

According to Dan Primack, who first reported the existence of Hov’s VC fund, says Arrive is a separate endeavor from the first VC fund that was previously reported:

In the press release (via AllHipHop), it says the investment platform will work with early-stage startups, and offer investment of capital as well as assistance with business development, branding and more to help those select companies flourish.

It’s reported Roc Nation will be working with Primary Venture Partners and GlassBridge Asset Managament to build the new firm. Primary will reportedly act as a venture advisor to guide investment, and GlassBridge will reportedly offer business infrastructure support.

In TV news...

Hov is set to host a very necessary Town Hall meeting before the 2nd episode of his new six-part docu-series “Time: The Kalief Browder Story” on Wednesday, March 8th.

The special will examine criminal justice reform and it will include commentary from Hov (who executive produced the film), Harvey Weinstein and David Glasser. Kalief’s family members will also join in on the live panel discussion titled “Time and Punishment” from NYC.

The docu-series follows of black teen Kalief Browder, who spent three years on Rikers Island without ever being convicted of a crime. He was arrested at the age of 16. After his 3-year jail stint, he was released, and ended up committing suicide.

The story is heartbreaking.

Nicki is still out and about in those Paris streets for Fashion Week.  Tonight, she did the absolute most with her new weave as she hung out with Chanel' Karl Lagerfeld and a few other major fashion folks.

This weavery looked like Cousin It coming down the street, but we love her risk-taking spirit:

She had Beyoncé's hairstylist Neal Farinah (who also gave Bey some ankle length bundles once or twice) give her the new 'do, and she's clearly loving it.

Now that Ceasar has told his side of the breakup, Dutchess is now sharing HER side of their breakup. We spoke with the “Black Ink” star where she opened up about losing herself in her relationship, why she called off the engagement and if/when she’s hopping back in the dating pool. More inside…

As you all know by now, “Black Ink” stars Ceaser and Dutchess have called it quits. Ceasar (short for Ceasar) gave us his side of the story and now Dutch is sharing her side with TheYBF.com.

In a candid phone conversation, Dutchess told us that she and Cease officially broke up in October 2016. After reaching a breaking point, she gave him an ultimatum: They could leave the TV ish alone and live happily ever after OR continue to star on “Black Ink” and call it quits. Apparently, Cease chose the TV life and that’s when she said she was done.

“This TV sh*t it’s so much more than what people think it is. [People don’t understand] the amount of stress and strain it puts on your relationship. Not just your relationship, but your friendships as well. I really just wanted us to be in love enough to walk away and let the drama just be what it is, the drama. But, Cease loves this to a certain extinct. I can’t live for the drama. I can’t keep reliving it, it’s too much.”

She said she loves Cease and always will, but she was in a very miserable situation. The hate she constantly received from her fiancé’s friends started to make her hate herself and that wasn’t healthy.

“How can I be in love with someone when everyone around them hate you? You don’t have friends or family there, you’re just there because you’re in love. Sometimes love isn’t enough.”

Dutchess lost herself in the relationship and said she was miserable. She felt had she stayed in the relationship, she would have ended up doing something to herself. It got so bad, she stopped tattooing for a while.

Eventually, she realized the “hate” she received from Cease’s friends had nothing to do with her.

With the way Dutch and Cease ended their relationship, it appears to be at a point of no return (esp. because we hear Ceasar has moved on with Karlie Redd). When asked if she would ever consider getting back with Cease she said, “It is what it is.”

She dished to us that she's grateful for the relationship. She wants him to be happy enough where he doesn’t have to degrade and belittle her in the media and on social media.

So, is she ready to jump back in the dating pool?

“Honestly, I am focused on myself. I’ve got other businesses and goals I’m working on. I just want to focus on the things that I should have been focused on.”

It’s rumored that Dutchess is now coupled up with Carolina Panthers cornerback Zack Sanchez after she was spotted getting cozy with him during an Instagram Live video. Hmm...maybe she really is done for good this time. 

After finally opening her own shop, Pretty In Ink, Dutchess said it changed her...for the better. It forced her to become more responsible, accountable, and to make better business making skills telling us, “It’s either going to make you or break you.”

That's for sure.

How do we know? The 23-year-old confirmed his singledom to YBF correspondent MJ on the red carpet at the American Black Film Festival Honors that went down in Beverly Hills recently.

“I’m single. I don’t know why the word on the street is that I’m not single," he told TheYBF.com.

Oh? Not only is he single, he also totally admits to being a flirt. YAS!

Cutie Mack Wilds dropped some gems during the “Shots Fired” screening in Washington D.C. last night. Find out what he said, plus peep the red carpet flicks from the cast inside…

Last night, the cast and crew of FOX’s “Shots Fired” series gathered at the Newseum in Washington D.C. for a screening of the upcoming police shooting drama.

During a Q&A session, Mack Wilds hopped on the mic to drop some (much needed) knowledge for the masses. Speak black man!

He talked about how we sometimes ignore the facts and only take in the information we want to hear. Alternative facts, so to speak. The 27-year-old actor/singer also opened up about how much he has grown as a young, black man in America trying to find his way.

Mack plays a dad on the show and his on-screen son was there just being adorable.

“Shots Fired” will examine the dangerous aftermath of two racially charged shootings in a small Southern town, providing an explosive autopsy of our criminal justice system.

The gorgeous Sanaa Lathan, who plays a Department of Justice investigator, dished on how she prepared for her role. She said she spent a lot of time with a real female DOJ investigator and another female police officer to pick up a few tips and tricks to pull off her character "Ash" effortlessly.

That wasn't all she did. The show’s co-creator, Gina Prince-Bythewood, also put Sanaa in mixed martial arts to help prepare her for the role.  Chick looks amazing!

Sanaa, who worked with Gina for "Love & Basketball" seventeen years ago, said shooting for the series was different that any other role she has ever played in because the actors were given the script two days before filming. So, she literally had two days to learn her lines for each episode, which co-creator Reggie Bythewood likes to call “movies,” which was unfamiliar territory.

Stephan James rolls up his sleeves to play special prosecutor, Preston. He revealed he channeled and studied former Attorney General Eric Holder to pull off his role.

Fab times!

Mark your calendars: "Shots Fired" premieres Wednesday, March 22nd at 8/7c on FOX.  And it's good.
