After celebrating her son Sebastian’s 4th birthday with her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, Amber Rose stepped out for a night of fun in a slightly see-thru bodycon dress. The self-proclaimed bad b*tch slipped into a black sweater dress with a zipper and black pumps as she made her out on the L.A. streets.

The talk show host recently addressed rumors that she’s dating Golden State Warriors baller Kevin Durant. So, is she? Nope. They apparently just showed up at the same restaurant, The Nice Guy, and folks started speculating. 

"I was not with him at all," she told TMZ. "No. We were at the same restaurant, that's it. We said hi like normal human beings."

Rapper The Game was all smiles following all of his legal drama as he made his way to Koi Sushi restaurant in West Hollywood the other night rolling up in a new custom bright red Bentley.

The west coast rapper is thanking his lucky stars for only receiving probation, community service and anger management classes in connection to two recent assaults, one with an off-duty police officer and the other with a process server.

According to the L.A. Times, the 37-year-old Compton native pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of criminal threats and a misdemeanor count of battery stemming from the alleged assault.

Also in L.A.:

Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes traded in her wings for a lunch date with her little sister Chloe and friends. Thefresh faced supermodel (who's just as gorge make-up free) and her squad hit up The Grove for some good eats and retail therapy.

Per Chloe's IG page, she's a model just like her big sister.  She's signed to Zuri Model Management. It runs in the family!

It's official, Beyoncé has pulled out of Coachella.  You know, since she's having twins and all.  But there's still some good news!  Deets inside..

It's been a tug-of-war in the media about whether or not Beyoncé would actually perform at Coachella this year as planned.  She signed on as one of three headliners before announcing her pregnancy. Plenty of folks wondered if she would be able to perform late in her pregnancy while pushing through an at least somewhat at-risk pregnancy, as most twin pregnancies are.  Now, we've got out answer.

In a statement to The Associated Press on Thursday, the "Love Drought" singer's Parkwood Entertainment rep and festival producer Goldenvoice said the singer had to pull out of the famed festival "following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months."

Completely understandable as health is the numero uno priority, despite any adjustments that were rumored to have been made to her set.

Bey's 2017 performance would have marked her first time she performed at Coachella, and she would have become the first female act to headline the festival since Bjork a decade ago.  It's unclear who will perform in her place, but Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead are still headlining the other two days of each weekend.

Here's the good news: The statement also said Queen Bey will headline the 2018 festival.

So, you've now got another 365+ days to stack those coins and gear up to cop those Coachella 2018 tix.  Good luck!

Jidenna taps Chris Rock’s girlfriend Megalyn Echikunwoke and “Insecure” star Jay Ellis for his new visuals, “Bambi.” Get into the video treatment inside…

WONDLAND artist Jidenna just dropped his newest LP, The Chief. And now, he has new visuals for his latest single “Bambi.”

The video treatment gives a cinematic feel as it tells the story of the “Classic Man” losing out on the love of his life, played by Chris Rock’s girlfriend/ “CSI: Miami” star Megalyn Echikunwoke, due to his cheating ways. As his ex-girlfriend celebrates her marriage to “Insecure” star Jay Ellis, a drunk Jidenna races to the church and crashes the wedding in an epic way. They always realize what they have way too late, don't they?

The “Bambi” track serves up a Caribbean feel topped off with his classic-man style. Think West African-trap track. Jidenna spoke with Rolling Stone recently about the inspiration behind the record explaining,

“I didn't grow up in a very musical household, but during the holidays, my mother used to always play Nat King Cole, good old Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin. That song is a product of those moments, when I'd be singing those melodies, those Harry Belafonte melodies, but fusing that with West African Highlife and trap music. I've never really made that many love records. That's a special song to me to dig deep and show that side of myself."

Singer JoJo hit the stage for a sold out show at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre this week and she had a special surprise.

The Pop princess pulled Keke Palmer on stage, but she wasn’t there to perform. The “Scream Queens” was gifted a sensual lap dance from the sultry singer in a sparkly black see-through body bodysuit.

As JoJo’s track “High Heels” plays in the background, JoJo asked Keke, “You don’t mind getting a little frisky?” as the Chi-town native eagerly sat in a chair in the middle of the stage blindfolded. Ow!

Besties Amber Rose and Blac Chyna caught up with former reality star Laura Govan at Russell Simmons’ 2nd annual All Def Digital Awards.

After dropping 40lbs since giving birth to baby Dream Kardashian in November, Chyna slipped into a red hot bodysuit that showed off her post-pregnancy curves for the awards show. If you haven’t heard, Chyna is a single lady these days. It’s rumored she and Rob Kardashian have called off their engagement…again.

New grill, Who dis?!

Since hopping into the rap game, Fabolous has been known for his chipped tooth. But now, he has a new reason to smile.

The NYC rapper just copped a new grill courtesy of Dr. Mojgan Fajiram at Sutton Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry. It wasn’t cheap either. Loso dropped $40,000 on his brand new smile and he clearly got his money’s worth.  (Whether he actually PAID that amount instead of giving her publicity in exchange is yet to be said.)

He rapped about his signature smile on his 2001 track “Right Now & Later On” saying:

“I know you wanna sip Proof/And try an make me crack a smile, just so you can see my chipped tooth/I’m tryin’ get you, in and out of my room/Just to get, in and out of your womb.”

Loso has toyed with the idea of getting his teeth fixed for years. Back in 2011, Fab told radio personality Angie Martinez he had plans on getting it fixed. “I’m getting too old to have a chipped tooth in my mouth. I’m just going to shock the world with it," he said. 

And that’s exactly what he did. It’s reported he wanted to treat himself to a new smile for his 39th birthday.

Suge Knight’s son Suge Knight Jr. is outraged that his father Suge Knight is being treated worst than “rapists” and “serial killers” in jail. The 21-year-old took to his Instagram page to blast the judicial system over the unfair treatment of his father:

 

Im grateful to see my dad this morning, but it hurt me to see him get neglected right infront of my face. Im distugsted that these people take an oath to serve justice but do the exact opposite. I havent seen or heard this mans voice in two years! When we will they view him as a human? How come the man who turned himeslef in on a "Hit and Run" case (Which is really a Self Defense Case) gets mistreated more than the Rapist or a serial killer? I know sin is sin but what about mercy? I dont know anybody who can sit in solitary confinement for two years and not speak to, nor choose his own lawyer. When will they let him get the best chance to defend himself. This court session was mostly of my dad asking for a fair shot, while The prosecutor rushes the judge to end the session because she has alot to do today. Bs. They even had the officer block my dads view to see me! I really need those that acutally support and who has a heart to reach out. The Death Row Founder is currently in jail after he was arrested and charged with murderfor the fatal hit-and-run of Terry Carter and attempted murder of Cle Denyale “Bone” Sloan, who had worked as an adviser on the N.W.A biopic, Straight Outta Compton. Suge has pleaded not guilty in the case with claims that he was the victim of an armed ambush.

Suge’s son claims he has not been able to speak with or see his father for the last two years because he has been held in solitary confinement. He said he was turned away when he tried to visit his pops last year. He also claims Suge has been placed on strict phone restriction where he’s only allowed to call his attorneys.

The Death Row CEO’s murder trial was delayed again on Wednesday.

After the hearing, Suge’s son, who attends Fisk University in Nashville, spoke with the NY Daily News and said, “It’s extreme. They’re treating him like a mass murderer.”

Hmph...

He continued, “Going in today and hearing my dad ask to be treated like a regular inmate, it actually hurt me. Why does he even have to ask for that? I feel like it’s taking time away from his actual case.”

It’s unclear why the protective order limiting his jail privileges were set in place.

Suge’s son also posted another Instagram post thanking those who have shown support:

 

Before my father gave me his name, he told my mother (Stormey) "I hope he can handle the name." Today I feel like I showed that. I just want to thank those that stood with me today. Its respectable to stand for right instead of bandwagoning a hateful wave. Hopefully, you guys can go this hard on those rappers who forget where they came from or the ones who sells overly priced shoes that the average fan cant afford. Suge was always for the people; he was just too real for this fake industry. Sit back and think is suge really bad and dont go off what you hear. #FreeSuge

Suge is expected to return to court for a pre-trial hearing on March 27th where he could face a life sentence in state prison if he's found guilty.

Janelle Monae has been hot on the awards season trail, starring in two heavy hitters: Moonlight and Hidden Figures.

The actress/singer/political activist covers the newest issue of L.A. Confidential where she talks about getting her feet wet in the acting world. Her acting debut was that much sweeter being that she was able to tell two unique stories that had never been told before.

But get this…

The Wondaland honcho first auditioned for a role in Star Trek and ultimately didn’t get the part. She said she auditioned because she wanted to star in a sci-fi blockbuster to make her acting debut.

“I don’t know if a lot of people know this,” she says, “but I auditioned for Star Trek prior to Moonlight. The casting director saw my tape and told [Moonlight director] Barry Jenkins about me. I didn’t get the part in Star Trek, but that’s why Barry reached out to me. And the rest is history.”

Well, she certainly isn’t crying over the Star Trek role. Moonlight and Hidden Figures have been racking up awards left and right. And now, we’re just waiting to see which Oscar awards the films will scoop up on Sunday.

“I love telling these sorts of stories that give voice to those who are oftentimes uncelebrated, to those who don’t feel like they have a voice in America. These are characters who are considered to be outcast in society because of their sexual identity, gender, or race,” she says. “I think that these two movies have opened up a new door to the possibilities of telling more unique stories.”

But, the Sistahs Soiree pre-Oscar party totally changes up that conversation.

The “Luke Cage” actress created an evening where YBF actresses can come together and celebrate their accomplishments and, of course, each other. Alfre teamed up with Farfetch to host the 8th Annual Oscar's Sistahs Soiree at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel last night. And it was magical.

Gucci Mane dropped a banger late last night featuring Nicki Minaj and the Head Barb is dropping bombs.

Mr. Wopster dropped his new single “Make Love,” dubbing it “the hardest song of the year.”

He’s right, it definitely features some hard lyrics and Nicki is the one serving up tons of shade. The Young Money rapper spit:

So who is she dissing? Some say it sounds like she’s coming at Remy Ma.

Since Rem returned to the rap game, she has made claims that she’s the Queen of Rap. But, Nicki begs to differ. When she raps, “One platinum plaque, album flopped, b*tch, where? (b*tch, where?)” that sounds like a slight towards Rem. Remy and Fat Joe’s “All The Way Up” went platinum and it’s the only single that has gone platinum for Remy.

Nicki also rapped “You gotta sell records, you gotta get plaques.” Sounds like another shot at the Bronx raptress as Remy Ma’s 2005 debut album, There’s Something About Remy: Based on a True Story is the only album Remy has dropped since she hopped on the rap scene and her sales were less than stellar. As you all know, Remy went to jail for seven years, which slowed down her career.

It’s interesting to note, Remy dropped some bars on NYC rapper Phresher’s “Wait A Minute” and folks speculated that she was dissing Nicki on the track. Remy said in a recent interview that she didn't throw any subliminals at Nicki because she never had a reason to diss her.

“Nicki Minaj never did anything to me," Remy said. "There’s no reason for me to sub her. Any person I’ve ever head a problem with I will have no problem saying your name.”

In more shade throwing news...

Future’s son’s mother Brinni Mealy posted a picture of herself on Instagram flossing a Rolex watch while quoting lyrics from one of Ciara’s songs, “I Bet.”

She said, “So I'm suppose to believe that's felinis calling your phone.... #damnstillgottheplasticonmyrollie”

It really doesn’t make sense for Brittni to be coming for CiCi as Ciara has moved on. She married Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and is currently pregnant with his child. So, we’re not sure where this came from. But, it’s likely she’s just seeking attention.

Speaking of Future….

The Atlanta rapper, who just dropped his 2nd album HNDRXX in the last two weeks today, did an interview with Beats 1’s Zane Lowe where he talked about his take on fatherhood. Future believes his kids have to “sacrifice” since he’s famous.

In the interview he said:

“You gotta sacrifice so much, even the times with your kids. You have to just do music and you’re becoming this entertainer and so many people require so much of your time for different things, different obligations you have to make money, or just different obligations you have as a person in whatever the situation may be. You gotta leave town and miss out on certain things, that you feel like you should be there. Like, your dad should be a part of this moment. I gotta be like, ‘Damn, man, your daddy really a superstar and entertainer.’ My kids gotta understand, they gotta make a sacrifice, having a superstar dad. My career choice is my career choice. Just stepping out of that zone, to be able to be a provider. I understand my position as a provider and my role as a dad also…Just being able to be comfortable with it. Everybody wanna be a super dad and the best dad ever but sometimes, I’m just realizing that I’m not perfect.”

The Burning Sands trailer just dropped and it looks SO good. Peep the first look and find out when it will premiere on Netflix inside…

Black Greeklife is about to take center stage in the upcoming Netflix original series Burning Sands. The new fictional drama will certainly drum up some controversy about intense, alleged hazing rituals at historically black colleges & universities.  And to keep it all the way real, a lot of people are about to feel some type of way.

The film, which swept up awards at the Sundance Film Festival, will follow the journey of fraternity hazing through the eyes of one pledgee (played by "American Crime" star Trevor Jackson) who finds himself torn between honoring a code of silence or standing up against the violence of underground hazing.

In the new trailer, viewers see pledgees get kicked, punched, spat on and forced to run ridiculous errands for their big brothers. The Netflix original series is directed by Howard University alum Gerard McMurray, a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Rounding out the cast, Alfre Woodard, Serayah and Chiké Okonkwo ("Being Mary Jane"/Birth of a Nation) also star in the film. It's executive produced by rapper Common and Caroline Connor.

NBA Hall of Famer Shaq is stirring up the pot with Golden State Warriors player JaVale McGee…again.

Although the Warriors defeated the L.A. Clippers (123-113) Thursday night, the “Inside the NBA” co-host still threw shade at JaVale, a player Shaq often goes in on via his “Shaqtin A Fool” segment. Last night’s clip went a little something like this:

Seemingly fed up with Shaq’s antics, JaVale hopped on Twitter demanding Shaq take his “nuts” out his mouth.  This was followed by Shaq roasting JaVale, calling him a “buma**” in a series of tweets. Shaq even issued a threat to JaVale, warning him that he would “smack the sh*t” out of him when he sees him. JaVale popped back, calling him a “old bastard” and telling him to stick to cooning!

Amber Rose hit the stage at the All Def Digital Awards the other night and told the crowd she's the proud new owner of Ace of Diamonds strip club in L.A.  It's the fave watering hole of Drake, Rick Ross and every other rapper who comes through town.

Chick rushed off the stage expeditiously before anybody could ask a question, and media reports circulated immediately reporting she's the new HBIC of AoD.

This morning, Ace of Diamonds, who goes by the acronym AoD, said 'Skrrrrt! Hold up, not so fast chick.'  Reps for the club tell media that Amber flat out lied and that she has no ownership of their club.  The former stripper has indeed frequented the club, but they say she definitely hasn't added them to her business portfolio or anything.

Not only that, they're pissed she even fixed her mouth to say this publicly.  So, they want to sue her for $1M for slander.  Damn!

Not one to be scared of a pesky lawsuit, Amber has now popped back saying she's got receipts...in the form of a trademark.  She says she formed a corporation named Ace of Diamonds, Inc. back in December and then filed for a trademark for the name AND abbreviation AoD.  Oh, and she did so in the proper categories of entertainment, gentleman's clubs and live performances.

TMZ reports:

According to docs, Amber formed a corporation called Ace of Diamonds, Inc. and back in December filed for a trademark on the name, as well as the abbreviation "AoD." The docs say the trademark will be for "entertainment services in the nature of live dance performances" and "gentlemen's clubs featuring exotic dancing."

It hasn't been stamped and approved just yet, but she's clearly confident she's going to get it. It also explains why she blurted it out at the All Def Movie Awards.

Is it a case of her speaking up before the ink was fully dry?  Somewhat.  But this receipt also doesn't prove she owns the place.  Apparently, she has plans to take half of the original owners and open up a NEW location also under the name Ace of Diamonds.

Here's the issue though: Whether the original Ace of Diamonds already has their own trademark or not, they have 100% been in business and operating under that name for a period of time.  This fact usually holds just much weight in court as having a formal trademark.

So, it's an uphill battle for Amber to actually finalize the trademark and open up a new location under that name.

Chance The Rapper won BIG at this year’s Grammy Awards, scooping up Best New Artist, Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance. And after scooping up his awards, he trekked back to his hometown of Chicago to celebrate with his hometown fans.

The Coloring Book rapper hit up WGCI’s “Chicago Morning Takeover” radio show this morning to dish on his big night. For the special occasion, the morning team had a few treats for the city's native son. They gifted him with cake, champagne and 40oz malt liquor. Ha!

Also, during his interview, the “No Problems” rapper cleared up those rumors about a major record label offering him $10 million to sign. Chance cleared up the rumors, revealing he was offered $10 milli back in 2013 and that he wouldn’t even entertain an offer like that now. He said most labels know where he stands and he's actually cool with a lot of them.

Before the Oscars go down on Sunday, Zoe Saldana and Jay Ellis are living it up in L.A. 50 & Fab Cynthia Bailey is also on the west coast to party it up with the Brits. Flicks inside…

It’s that time of year again. The Oscars are right around the corner, so that means L.A. is poppin’ with parties galore.

Last night, new mom again Zoe Saldana popped up at the Cadillac Oscar Week Celebration held at Chateau Marmont for some fun. This is the first time the Guardians of the Galaxy actress hit the red carpet since welcoming her third baby into her family fold.

Yep, she has a set of twin boys AND a newborn son at home.  She and her husband have not confirmed if they welcomed the baby by surrogate, adoption or natural birth.

The Avatar actress looked radiant in a cream ruffled high slit dress accented with embroidery. She hit the carpet just days after announcing the birth of her baby boy Zen.

As she made her way down the carpet, Zoe snapped it up with her sister/business partner Mariel Saldana and actress Pom Klementieff:

Y'all know Zoe is super private when it comes to her personal life, so this is one of the best sneak peeks she has shown thus far of her new baby Zen.

Mahershala and his wife, Amatus Sami-Karim, welcomed their very first child into the world on Wednesday, just in time for the Oscar nominee's big night this Sunday!  The Hidden Figures star told the world the good news on Friday afternoon.

After walking the red carpets with the baby seemingly ready to make his debut at any time, Mahershala finally met baby Bari (pronounced Bar-ee) Najma Ali for the first time. 

The proud new dad posted a pic of his wife and newborn at the hospital saying:

Vanity Fair and luxury car company Genesis teamed up to celebrate Hidden Figures, the American biographical drama that shed light on three African-American female mathematicians -- played by Octavia Spencer, Taraji P. Henson, and Janelle Monae-- who were responsible for sending the first American into space.

The film is up for three Oscar awards, including Best Picture.

In TV news, Taraji will return as Cookie Lyon on the hit series "Empire" when it premieres March 22nd at 9pm on FOX.

Janelle Monae stuck to her signature black and white theme, but last night’s look featured more color. The WONDALAND honcho rocked a colorful floral Reem Acra dress that served up retro vibes. She finished her look with Christian Louboutin sandals.

Love was literally in the air.

Octavia Spencer won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2012 for her role in The Help. And she’s nominated again in the same category for her role in Hidden Figures. Can she do it again? We hope so!

Oscar nominated actress Viola Davis and her husband Julius Tennon hit up the 10th annual Women in Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party, presented by Max Mara and BMW, at the Nightingale Plaza.

The FENCES star, who’s up for Best Supporting Actress, glowed in a coral jumpsuit as she posed it up alongside her husband. Her skin is perfection.

Fab directress Ava DuVernay, who just wrapped up filming her new film A Wrinkle In Time, is always a beauty on the red carpet.

The Hollywood filmmaker was busy chatting it up with President of Women In Film Cathy Schulman and actress Meryl Streep.

“Being Mary Jane” star Gabrielle Union pushed through in a black embroidered Rodarte dress and Young Frankk earrings for the star-studded affair. And as you can see, she debuted her new cropped angled bob that we’re loving.

“STAR” actress Ryan Destiny and her former bandmate Chelsea Stone got a photo-op with Gabby. Ryan and Chelsea were in a girl group before Ryan landed a role in "STAR."

"The Quad" star Anika Noni Rose was here usual gorgeous self.

As fans dissect his lyrics, it’s said he’s referring to Ciara’s former relationships with Bow Wow,50 Cent and her rumored relationship with Trey Songz. Future never mentioned her name on the track, but it was trending on Twitter all last night.

Last month, Ciara ended her $15 million defamation suit against Future and it was dismissed “with prejudice,” which means she can’t refile it. So, why is Future still talking about Ciara? Well, he did say in a recent interview that he was going to shed light on everything he has been in the headlines for through his music. Hmph.

And then there was some manufactured drama Future's baby mama Brittni Mealy tried to drum up on social media by posting lyrics from Ciara's song "I Bet" on her Instagram. Thirsty much?

Future's manager Anthony Saleh compared Future's newest LP to Beyonce's LEMONADE visual album, writing:

Our Forever POTUS Barack Obama is back from vacay, and his glow up is oh so real.  Get into what he and former First Daughter Malia are up to in NYC... 

Barack Obama floated into New York this week, and had the whole city losing its collective mind.  It was like your parents who treated you like the prince and princess that you are returned home from vacay and you no longer had to suffer with the big, bad babysitter.

The babysitter is still here, but New York (and the world) was ecstatic to see a relaxed and fresh faced Obama living life like it's golden.  He's in town for a few meetings and to catch up with his oldest daughter Malia, who has been living in the city for her internship with the Weinstein Company.

Mr. O and Malia were spotted grabbing dinner at the popular Soho eatery Emilio's Ballato Thursday night, and they snapped pics with the owner and chefs.

Last night, Obama took Malia to the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's The Price at the American Airlines Theater:

Their pics with the cast are everything.

Also on Friday, when Obama was leaving a meeting on 5th Ave. in the Flatiron District, he copped a rock star greeting from everybody on the streets.  Check it:

Producers Swizz Beatz and Just Blaze went head-to-head in an epic beat battle that played out on Instagram Live. And it did NOT disappoint.

The Hip Hop session, hosted by HOT 97’s Ebro Darden, featured Swizz and Blaze coming up with beats using a kick, snare and hi-hat. They also remixed some of their classic beats from their illustrious careers. You were lucky to be in the mix. Rappers Busta Rhymes and Cassidy made sure they were in the building.

The beat battle went on for hours and towards the end, Swizz dropped a BOMB. He previewed an unreleased track that featured Jay Z, Nas, DMX and Jadakiss! Whet?! It’s unclear when or if the track will be released, but we’re hoping it does. Take a listen at a clip below:

The Harvey clan- including Jason Harvey, Marjorie Harvey, and Lori Harvey - is currently taking over Milan Fashion Week in Italy. But Steve and Marjorie Harvey’s granddaughter Rose is stealing the show. Everyone was dressed to kill.

The adorable tot was decked out in street chic Fendi threads as she her family trekked it to the Fendi show.

We see little Rose is a mini fashionista already.
