Valentine’s Day brought out the lovey dovey side of celebrities who don’t talk about their relationship often. And some we didn't even know were dating in the first place.  But yesterday was like a BAE probate, all kinds of surprises.

Just because they don’t talk or post about it much, it doesn’t mean they aren’t wrapped up in love. Some celebrities prefer to keep their love behind closed doors, but Valentine’s Day brought out the lover in them.

After being spotted together in an Atlanta club last month, it appears Future and his son’s mother Brittni are trying their hand at a relationship again. The two spent V-Day together and posted it on the ‘Gram for everyone to see.

The Atlanta rapper posted the pic above (then deleted) with a caption that appears to be dedicated to Brittni and their roller coaster situationship:

Hmph.

Brittni posted up the coupledom shot on her Instagram as well and it’s still there. She captioned the flick, “Happy Valentine’s Day” with a red heart emoji.

Girl, you aint slick...

Nope, this is not a PR stunt or a prank. “Luke Cage” actress Rosario Dawson and comedian/”2 Broke Girls” star Eric Andre (who’s known for pulling pranks) are actually dating.

The couple showered each other with love on their social media accounts in honor of Valentine’s Day and it confused Chance The Rapper. The three-time Grammy winner shot Rosario a text to see if their public love fest was a joke, because apparently, he's got a crush on her.

We always see Big Sean and his girlfriend Jhene Aiko together, but they hardly show public affection. V-Day brought out his soft spot for his girl.

The Detroit native, who recently dropped his new album I Decided, also showed love to the first woman he ever loved, his mother. So sweet.

R&B singer Tank went down memory lane, recalling how he and his now fiancee Zena Foster have gone through trials and tribulations.  Apparently the engaged twosome are still madly in love with one another:

Robin Thicke can't catch a break.  His wife Paula left him and he suffered a major loss in his life.  He does have a new(er) chick, April, but he's still embroiled in a bitter custody battle with his ex.  Now, he's battling with the internets over something so petty (but so nasty).

Listen, we all live our pets dammit. But it's A-OK to do bathime solo. Your cat or dog or snack or whoever will most definitely be there when you finish washing your parts. So why would one feel the need to bathe WITH their pets? Let's ask Mr. Thicke, shall we?

The singer (proudly) posted pics to Instagram to show what happened when his and April dog jumped into the bathtub with them while they were doing whatever they were doing.  Instead of IMMEDIATELY getting the dog out and just starting over with that bath water, they each took turns snapping flicks of the impromptu bathtime playtime:

One word for Gugu Mbatha-Raw: Flawless.

The 33-year-old actress is heating up pages inside GQ magazine's March 2017 issue with her gorgeous pictorials. In the shots, Gugu serves up effortless gorgeousness as she dances, lounges and shows off her “guns.”

She has captivated us in movies like Beyond the Lights, Miss Sloane and Black Mirror. And there’s more where that came from.

Switching gears from more serious and tragic roles, the British beauty will be starring in the Beauty and the Beast reboot as a singing and dancing feather duster. It’s the total opposite role from the more dark and serious roles she has played in the past.

“I love tragedy, but you can’t do it all the time—it’s way too draining,” she tells GQ. We can imagine. Actors and actresses delve into their characters so deeply that it probably weighs on them when they have to stay in dark places to fully emobody the character they're portraying.

Coming down the pipeline, Gugu is also gearing up for a role in Ava DuVernay’s highly anticipated film adaptation, A Wrinkle In Time. We can't wait to see it, but we'll have to stay calm until April 2017.

In another magazine...

If you didn't know who Mahershala Ali is, surely you know him now. Or, you've at least have heard of his name. He's been this awards season's "IT" guy as he racked up nominations and wins in damn near every awards ceremony. And we're not mad. Glad he's finally getting his shine.

The Oscar nominated star lands this week's cover of The Hollywood Reporter and he opens up about dealing with depression. 

Inside, the Moonlight star reveals he went into depression after his father left him and his mother. He shares,

“After that, my uncle has told me, and even my grandmother, I went into a depression. I was borderline depressed for years. There was a sadness over me, a melancholy. That's always been a part of me — those are some of the things that lead you to the arts. It's something I still think about, not that it brings me sadness at this point; it's a void or fracture that happened so early that now I have to address it in the healthiest way. We're affected by things, but 20 or 30 years later we can choose to feel different about them. I understand: My mom and dad were kids. And I know that they loved me and did the best they could do.”

The “Luke Cage” star also dishes on how he started opening up to different religions and beliefs outside of Christianity – the religion he was taught to believe growing up – and how his mother reacted his life change. He says his journey started when he went with his wife Amatus and her mom to a mosque in Philadelphia back when they were in college.

He shares,

"I was around 23 or 24 years old when I couldn't ignore it anymore. I was going back in time and trying to find out why I believed what I believed, and it always ended with my mother, and with what I was told — not my own epiphany or studies."

"A week later, it was Christmas break for school, and I just happened to stay in New York. It was Dec. 31, 1999. I woke up and thought, 'I have to go to the mosque,' and I go to this mosque in Brooklyn, and it's packed. It's multiple stories, and I'm all the way in the back, and they do this sermon in English and in Arabic, and they go to make the prayer — 'In the name of God the gracious and the merciful. All praise is due to God alone' — and the same thing happens to me, and I just start crying. I couldn't wrap my head around it. It was beyond explanation. There was this connection that pierced through it all for me. And I felt like I was in the right place. And this guy touches me on the shoulder and says, 'Are you Muslim?' And I say, 'No.' And he goes, 'Do you want to be?' And I said, 'Yes.' So he took me up to the imam, and I made my pledge"

"When I told my mother, it was a little bit clumsy. I got on the phone and she wasn't excited about that, in large part because at that time she believed there's only one route to heaven, through Christianity. It probably took 10 or 12 years until she really embraced it. My mother is as spiritual as she is religious. She likes to have a good time, but she has an extraordinarily serious quality about her. She lives with the awareness that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience, that everything is about the next life. She basically told me she accepted that was my path, and she's been really supportive of that choice. We are in an extraordinarily positive place today."

That's great he and his mother could put their religious beliefs aside for the sake of their relationship.

Grammy nominated singer Mya, who was up for Best R&B Album this year, dropped a sweet Valentine’s Day treat for her fans. The R&B singer released new visuals for her track “Coolin,” a sensual cut from her Smoove Jones LP.

Mya unveiled the video treatment, directed by Matt Sharp, to celebrate the 19th Anniversary of the release of her very first single "It's All About Me" featuring Sisqo of Dru Hill and the 1-year anniversary of her independent album Smoove Jones.

The visuals were shot in Sydney, Australia while she was on tour. Director Matt Sharp perfectly captures the R&B essence of the song, which serves up some old school Mya throwback feels. Oddly, the video also reminds us of something else.

Speaking of the Grammys....

Before the biggest night in music went down, Clive Davis (Sony Music chief creative officer) hosted his annual pre-Grammy party for the 41st year. Every year, Clive gathers some of music’s brightest stars on the eve of the Grammys and last weekend was no different.

As everyone flocked to the Beverly Hilton, Clive rounded up all of the performers of the evening for an epic group shot. The YBF superstars included Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Chance The Rapper, Maxwell and BBD. They all served up rousing performances during the gala.

Actor Woody McClain caught some negative backlash over a racial joke he told on Twitter a while back. TheYBF.com caught up with the New Edition Story star at ESSENCE’s Black Women In Hollywood event to ask him about it. Find out what he said inside…

New Edition Story breakout star Woody McClain made his way to ESSENCE’s Black Women In Hollywood event last week to celebrate all of the bad a** black women in the industry.

The YBF actor came under fire recently after someone dug up some old tweets he fired off via Twitter that seemed to be a shot fired at black women. But, it’s not what everyone think it is, according to Woody. 

YBF Correspondent MJ asked Woody about the tweet and the negative backlash he received from it. Here’s what he had to say:

“The original tweet was ‘If it ain’t white, it ain’t right.’ That’s comedy! It’s like saying, ‘Once you go black, you never go back.’ Somebody took that tweet and added more tweets to it. Photoshop is undefeated."

The young actor said he comes from a comedy background and the tweet was never meant to disrespect black women. He said he always pushes for black love.

He said all of the negative backlash he received hurt his feelings, BUT he learned a good lesson from it.

Michael’s longtime manager, Michael Lippman, told Billboard an early concept of the tribute was for each performer to take a song with a different tempo and era to create one large mash-up.

However, according to Adele,“[The family] didn’t want a tribute at first, and they came back and were very specific that it be me.”

Kanye West is making up for his troubled Yeezy Season 4 debacle. Yeezy Season 5 went on with no issues and it was packed with celebrities. Deets and pics inside…

Kanye West has redeemed himself from the catastrophe of his Yeezy Season 4 show. Yeezy Sesaon 5 wasn’t extremely late (about 20 minutes late but that’s typical), no models fainted (they were inside) and from what we hear, it was choreographed well.  Even the clothes look much more polished than previous collections. 

The show took place inside Pier 59 Studios. There were rumors floating around that the PABLO rapper would debut a new Drake collaboration, but that never happened. Instead, a remix of J. Holiday’s song “The Bed” by The Dream was on repeat for the entire show.

Guests didn’t see all of the new designs until the end of the show. The models were projected on a screen before they actually walked the runway. Like most fashion shows, the designer comes out to wave at the audience, but a platinum blonde haired Kanye skipped out on appearing at the end of the show.

Celebrity guests included appearances from ASAP Ferg, LaLa Anthony, Teyana Taylor, Fabolous, Pusha T, Tyga, Kylie Jenner and Anna Wintour. And, of course, his wife Kim Kardashian West was there for support.

Kanye's sister-in-law Kendall Jenner did not walk in the show as she was working Anna Sui’s show at the same time.

Justin Bieber called The Weeknd’s music WACK when asked back in January if he listens to his tracks. And now, Abel Tesfaye, who’s currently dating Bieber’s ex-Selena Gomez, is seemingly responding to his shade.

The Canadian crooner is featured on rapper Nav’s new single “Some Way” where she sings about another man’s woman falling for him.

He croons:

Nicole Kidman is keeping it all in the family!

The “Big Little Lies” star is gearing up to star in a new HBO miniseries with YBF actress Zoe Kravitz But guess what? The acting duo is already well acquainted with one another as Nicole was once engaged to Zoe’s father, rock star Lenny Kravitz.

“Well, I knew Zoe because I was engaged to her father,” she told Net-A-Porter’s THE EDIT in a new interview. “It’s all in the family! I love Lenny; he’s a great guy.”

Who knew?

Lenny and Nicole started dating in 2003 -- which the world did know -- and eventually got secretly engaged. Nicole spoke about the secret engagement during a Vanity Fair interview in 2007, but she never revealed his name. In the previous interview, she divulged, “It just wasn’t right. I wasn’t ready. We weren’t ready.”

Interesting.

Since Nicole, who's currently married to Keith Urban, and Lenny are still good friends, there wasn’t any awkwardness between Zoe and Nicole on the set.

Will another Friday movie ever see the light of day? Ice Cube tells us only under one condition. More inside…

Rumors of another installment of Friday have been circulating for years. Like, forever. The fourth installment has been dubbed the “Last Friday” with rumors that Chris Tucker may come back to reprise his fan-favorite role as Smokey.

YBF correspondent MJ caught up with actor/filmmaker Ice Cube on the red carpet at the Fist Fight world premiere in L.A. this week where he dished on whether fans can expect another Friday from the series.

“I think the head of New Line [Cinema] is coming down the line. It’s a New Line movie. You ask them cut the check then we can do the movie,” he told TheYBF.com.

New Line also is the company behind Fist Fight. No word on who would star in the film or any other important details about the film.

By the way, Ice Cube and his wife Kimberly Woodruff celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary this year. Congrats!

Last October, Chris Tucker was asked if he would do another Friday film and it doesn’t look promising."I don't know if we can do another one. I don't know if I can do another one because I was so young and it was a moment in time,” he told ExtraButterBX.

Grey sweatpants can make or break a man, and we thank that fabulous piece of clothing for the service it provides.

Yesterday, 28-year-old DeAndre Liggins was just posing for an innocent pre-game pic.  And the services of the grey sweatpants came all the way through.

The University of Kentucky Grad and Chicago native has been playing with the Cavs since September and has hopped from team to team since entering the league in 2011.

Now, we don't know if that's just something large in his pocket, or if it's all the real deal.  Either way it goes, you're welcome.

Future opens up in a new interview about how he feared his relationship with Ciara got bigger than his career.

Before releasing his self-titled album today, Future sat down with Zane Lowe to chop it up about the makings of his new album he just dropped, Future Hendrix, on Beats 1 yesterday.

In the interview, the Atlanta rapper opened up about his high-profile relationship and engagement to R&B singer Ciara. The two have since moved on from the failed relationship with Ciara marrying and getting pregnant to Russell Wilson. Meanwhile, it seems Future is trying to get that old thing back with his son’s mother Brittni Mealy.

At one point in time, Future feared his relationship with the “Body Party” singer had gotten bigger than his rap career and he was worried about people doubting if he would ever be able to bounce back from the failed relationship. He said putting out as many projects as he did following the breakup helped him get over it.

“At the time, I wanted to touch the people that I needed to touch,” he said. “I wanted to touch on the people that felt like, ‘He might be over with,’ or, ‘Can he bounce back from his relationship?’ The relationship was pretty much the focal point of my career, at times, bigger than my career, at times. ‘Can he get bigger than his relationship was?’ To be able to get over that hump, now it’s Future Hendrix. I had to get over that hump. I didn’t want to give them Future Hendrix before they understand the trials and tribulations. Paying dues, that’s what it’s about.”

Future said he decided to semi shut down his social media accounts to focus on his music. He said instead of responding to certain situations online, he decided to put it all in his new music.

“Everything started coming together, even when I shut down my social media because I wanted to find time to think about something else, [other] than just finding time to think about posting pictures and posting captions,” he explained. “It was probably the best thing I ever done because I don’t have to respond to certain things that’s going on in my life.”

He continued: “All my energy, I want to put it in my music. I want you to hear this and say, ‘He gave us all of him.’ And you didn’t get it from a tweet. If there was a tweet I felt like saying during that time, you’re gonna be able to hear it in my music. If there was a response that you thought I should have responded to, you’re going to be able to hear it in my music…You’re gonna be able to hear the completeness of it, the sound, where I’m at, my voice, my tone, my wordplay, everything that’s going on around me, I was able to create off it, to be inspired by so many moments that were happening.”

So that’s why he has been M.I.A. on social media lately. Although, he did post up a picture of himself and his son’s mother Brittni to celebrate Valentine’s Day.  He eventually took it down. Hmph.

Master P may be going through a nasty divorce with his estranged wife Sonya Miller, but it appears he has seemingly found love. Some expensive love at that.

According to TMZ, P’s rumored girlfriend Simin Hashemizadeh, CEO of South Pacific Surgery Center in Beverly Hills, laced him with a few luxury gifts for Valentine’s Day.

While they have only been dating for a few months, she pulled out all the stops. She reportedly gifted him white 2016 Rolls-Royce Ghost ($270,000) that matches her black one. She also got him a $50,000 pair of diamond earrings from VHS Diamonds in L.A.

New York Jets player Darrelle Revis has got caught up with the law and copped four felony charges after a situation went down in Pittsburgh. Get the details inside…

Things aren’t looking good for New York Jets baller Darrelle Revis.

It always seems when the off-season rolls around, drama seems to follow NFL ballers. This time, cornerback Darrelle Revis allegedly got involved in a fight that has resulted in him receiving four felony charges.

According to NFL.com, Revis was charged with felony aggravated assault and robbery for his alleged involvement in an altercation that took place in Pittsburgh early Sunday morning.

Police charged him with two felony counts of aggravated assault, one felony count for robbery, one felony count of conspiracy and a misdemeanor count of terroristic threats. Sheesh!

Here’s what allegedly went down, via court documents:

According to the investigation, a 22-year-old male from Kittanning was walking along E. Carson Street when he spotted a male who resembled Aliquippa native (Darrelle) Revis, a cornerback in the NFL," the Pittsburgh Department of Public Safety's statement reads. "He asked if the man was (Darrelle) Revis and he confirmed that he was. The male began recording the interaction on his cellphone and continued following Revis. At some point, Revis snatched the cellphone away and attempted to delete the video.

Another 21-year-old male from Ross Township attempted to help the 22-year-old retrieve the cellphone. Revis then tossed the phone onto the roadway. A verbal argument followed. A male came to assist Revis. Both the 22-year-old and the 21-year-old state they were punched then remember waking up to talk to police. Witnesses state the two were unconscious for about 10 minutes. The Officers viewed the cellphone video and confirmed that the person was Revis.

Revis’ attorney Blaine Jones confirmed Revis sought medical attention after the incident. He told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo on Friday that he and the Pittsburgh Police Dept. are "working out the details of turning Darrelle in to law enforcement." As of the time of this post, Revis has not turned himself in.

To make matters worse, this situation could put him at risk of being let go by the Jets. A Jets spokesman said the team was aware of the incident and had spoken to Revis. An NFL spokesman said the league would look into the matter.

What’s interesting is that dating rumors started circulating when Cardi and Offset popped up at the Super Bowl together. They sat next to each other during the game and were seen leaving the game together as well.  All part of the marketing plan?

On Valentine’s Day, Cardi gave Offset a shoutout on her IG page, posting up a video of them hanging out at the Super Bowl game with the caption, “Oooh hey babe” along with the Kiss emoji:

We told y'all Mary J. Blige would be dropping new heat amid her public and ugly divorce from her estranged husband Kendu Isaacs.

Following her debut single "Thick Of It," the Queen of Hip Hop Soul blesses her fans with a new track titled, "U + Me." On the breakup anthem, Mary sings about the struggles of getting through a tough breakup and the lessons learned.

"U + Me" is the 2nd single from her upcoming 14th studio album, Strength of a Woman. It's set to drop sometime this year via Capitol Records.

During Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party, Mary took the stage and shared a ver intimate moment with the audience. She said while she may look happy, she's not and that going through this divorce has been hard on her.

She spilled, “Right now in my life, I need strength like yours [Debra Lee] because I may look happy, but I'm going through some horrible stuff right now. It's called divorce."

Hopefully, the music will become therapy for her and she gets through this hard time.

Donald Trump loves making up stories and his own “facts.” So, when he came out yesterday saying he tried to set up meetings with the Congressional Black Caucus and Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, they had to respond to set the record straight.

Over an hour-long press conference with the media, Trump spoke with April Ryan of American Urban Radio Networks. FYI—April is the reporter that had a war of words with Omarosa Manigault.

April asked the president if he had plans on including the CBC in discussions about his agenda for addressing urban policy.

The kicker? It appeared he didn’t even know what the CBC is.

“Are you going to include the Congressional Black Caucus?” April asked.

Before she could finish her question, Trump interrupted her responding, “Well, I would. Tell you what, do you want to set up the meeting? Do you want to set up the meeting? Are they friends of yours? Set up a meeting.”

She pointed out that she’s just a journalist, but she’s sure members of the CBC were watching. He said he would love to meet the CBC.

Not to mention, Trump tried to convince us all he's not racist. No one even asked him a question about race, but he insisted he's not racist saying, "Racism: [I’m] the least racist person. In fact, we did very well, relative to other people, as a Republican.”

Is this another alternative fact? Hmph.

Following the press conference, April spoke to MSNBC about Trump’s bizarre press conference and here’s what she had to say:

Later, Trump went on to say he tried to set up a meeting with Rep. Elijah E. Cummings (D-Md), a CBC member and the ranking Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, but Cummings bailed on the meeting, suggesting that Democrats told him not to meet with him.

Well, Mr. Cummings said that's a lie. He issued a statement that said,“I have no idea why President Trump would make up a story about me like he did today. Of course, Senator Schumer never told me to skip a meeting with the President."

HBCUs aren’t happy with how life at a historically black college is being depicted on BET’s new series “The Quad.” So, Hampton University President William R. Harvey wrote a letter to BET CEO Debra Lee slamming the series. Read the letter inside…

“The Quad” is a brand new drama series to give viewers an inside look at what life is like at a historically black college/university. But, everyone isn’t here for all of the drama.

Hampton University President William R. Harvey penned a letter to BET CEO Debra Lee to air out his frustrations with the show.

In the letter, Dr. Harvey, who has earned a reputation for placing black women in powerful positions at HBCUs, he said the show is a false representation of HBCUs and that the show “feeds the false narrative about the irrelevance of HBCUs.” He’s not happy with the female representation of the show at all.

In an excerpt from the letter, he wrote,

Devoid of any reference to academics, The Quad is about a president who is promiscuous, trustees who are unwilling to deal with a rogue band director, and a band director who condones criminal activity on the part of his drum major. The Quad will lead many to believe that HBCUs exist because of their marching bands; that our presidents are unethical; that our boards are dysfunctional and have misplaced priorities; that our faculty, students and administrators are driven by sex, alcohol, marijuana, low self-esteem, parties and a preoccupation with music; that it is acceptable to disrespect women; that university policy can be set by a band director; and that there are no standards of conduct or penalties for bad behavior. This depiction seems more analogous to a disgruntled, adolescent and unrealistic point of view that some may have. It also feeds a false narrative about the irrelevance of HBCUs.”

He continued,

“We cannot afford this kind of storytelling. It amounts to the type of ‘fake news’ that is prevalent today. You see, all that most people know about HBCUs is what they see on television. What I saw on BET February 1st was not accurate; rather, it was a bogus representation of very important and historic institutions.”

Apparently, he’s not the only HBCU leader who feels this way. According to HBCU Digest, several HBCU presidents commended Dr. Harvey for a “courageous” and “eloquent” response to the negative imagery of the show (which aired its third episode this week).

While we totally get why HBCU leaders would be upset about the show, the show is for entertainment purposes. It’s not a documentary or a docuseries, so of course they’re going to overdramatize everything. At the same time, the HBCU leaders have a point about the imagery affecting the core values of a HBCU.

With rumors going around that NeNe Leakes (and her friend again Kim Zolciak) might possibly be coming back for the 10th season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” NeNe being spotted with a few of her former co-stars is only adding fuel to the fire.

Last night, the American Black Film Festival hosted a pre-awards show cocktail party, hosted by BET CEO Debra Lee and ABFF founder Jeff Friday, at Cecconi’s in Hollywood and NeNe was there toasting it up with girls Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss.

Not too long ago, NeNe and Kandi set their differences aside and squashed their on-going beef. And as you all know, Cynthia and NeNe made up on the show. So, the fact that the HSN clothing designer was kiki’n it up with her former castmates may mean they're buddy-buddy in front of the camera again too.

If she does return, the question will then be: Will NeNe be in the front holding her peach or will she be placed behind Kandi? It’s still up in the air if Kandi will return for season 10 as well. Last week, Kandi told TheYBF.com at ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood event that her contract was up for renewal and she still hasn’t decided if she’ll be making a return.

Time will tell….

Oh, and about those reports that the "RHOA" ladies are trying to block NeNe's return...it's not true. On Monday's upcoming episode of "The Real," she tells the ladies:

“I do not believe that that the girls that I’ve worked with on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” would be anywhere grouping up together trying to figure out for me or Kim not to come back. I don’t. I don’t believe that. You know, I know people watch the show and they really want to see conflict and they want to make things up but I do not believe that these girls would get on the phone and try to figure out a way for me not to come back.”

John Legend made it his business to join his wife Chrissy Teigen at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017 NYC launch event at Center415 Event Space yesterday to celebrate her feature in the magazine.

If you haven’t heard by now, Chrissy returns to the swimsuit issue to floss her post-baby bod. Check out a sneak peek of the model mom behind-the-scenes of the shoot HERE.

The 31-year-old model recently chopped it up with Entertainment Tonight where she opened up about finding time for date nights with her husband. While some would say she makes motherhood look rather easy, she said she has tons of help.

"We're very lucky to be able to do that," she said. “Not a lot of people can do that: can go on date nights, can have a sitter, have someone take care of their baby. 'Me time' is important, but not everybody can do it."

"Every time I look at [my daughter] Luna, I wonder, 'How on earth does anybody do this alone?' I have the utmost respect for mothers [and] single mothers.”

It definitely takes a village. 

Singer FKA Twigs joined her fiancée Robert Pattinson for the European premiere of Robert’s Lost City of Z in London last night. In a rare appearance, the twosome were all wrapped up in love as they gazed into each other eyes making their way down the carpet.

Trey Songz has been involved in a whirl of sh*t in the last few months and now he’s setting the record straight. Go inside for the juicy details…

Trey Songz doesn’t talk much about incidents that go down in his life that make the headlines, but he’s getting some things off his chest to set the record straight.

The R&B crooner has been involved in a plethora of high-profile incidents lately, so he stopped by Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club” to tell his side about each situation.

First, he made it clear that the controversial “Tremaine The Playboy” reality dating digital series is NOT real. It was actually a music video.

“It’s not real,” he admitted. “The way people consume music, the way people love reality TV, the way people love drama, just the illusion that it could be something I was doing was a great way for me introduce music. I had y’all fooled…It did what I wanted it to do…I got the people that’s upset about it and the people that’s like, ‘Where do I sign up?’ And, you know, we’re having different conversations about different things now.”

That jedi mind trick.

Mr. Steal Your Girl also had some drama with Keke Palmer. She threatened to sue the R&B singer for filming her for a music video during a party that she did not approve. The “Scream Queens” star also claimed Trey used “sexual intimidation” to use her likeness in the video.

He dished,

“Ain’t nobody put her on camera without asking. There’s a sign on the door. ‘There’s a video being shot. You step on these premises, you will be recorded.’ Point blank, period. I don’t have to say nothing else about nothing. But I will say that, being that her and I have had a friendship, I’ve known her a long time. We had the same product manager. When she came to Atlantic Records, I was on like my second album or something. It’s always cool. That’s why I didn’t want to speak out. She was doing her most to defame me. I thought that was wack…Keke’s got me on her Snapchat talking to girls, smoking, doing all types of stuff. I don’t know she’s shooting me on her Snap. Did I go on the Internet saying, ‘Keke, you got me on your Snapchat, talking to girls. You got me on Snapchat while I’m not looking.'”

While Keekz said she and Trey talked it out and buried the hatchet, Trey said he hasn’t spoken to her about it at all.

“That’s a lie, too. I ain’t talked to her. I ain’t talked to Keke, y’all. I ain’t call Keke. I ain’t tried to call Keke. None of that. I did not put her in the video without her permission either. I didn’t [take the video down] either. I ain’t had nothing to do with nothing. Y’all do what y’all wanna do. It’s not my video. It’s not a song that’s on any album. It’s somebody else’s song. It’s a video we shot in passing. I don’t care that much to sneak Keke Palmer in a video for two seconds. Who the fuck does that? I’m gonna sneak you in the video, Keke? No, I’m not. Fuck outta here.”

Damn.

Remember when Trigga got arrested and charged in Detroit for allegedly punching a cop after trashing the stage? Well he talked that too. He said:

“The stage thing in Detroit, there’s so many layers to that. What people don’t understand is that the people who cut my music off have actually been working for me for seven-eight years, on tour with me, we got personal relationships. And they started my show three minutes late and ended it five minutes early. So, people don’t understand that…I definitely felt disrespected, mostly because these people, literally, every tour you’ve seen me on, have been working for me…There was fraudulent claims about me doing this and that backstage. I don’t ever speak on it too much, what negativity gets thrown in the air because it will settle itself. Too many rebuttals… especially when the law is involved. I still gotta go to court for that.”

And then there was the time he hopped on SnapChat cursing out the MGM Casino. Trigga explained what happened when he got “kicked out” out the MGM after an altercation with a heckler went down. He explained:

“I won $100,000 [on blackjack]. I’m a gambler. I play cards. So, I go down there for like four hours before I leave. The dealers are switching out every 30 minutes but I’m winning. When I start losing, the dealer stays for an hour…I’m not down. I’m even. So, I’m like, ‘Can I switch the dealer?’ I play cards. I know I can switch the dealer. It’s high limit. They’re like, ‘Nah.’ I’m like, ‘Why? You gave me all these rooms, comped me dinner, rooms, champagne.’ … Then somebody comes, the VP or pit boss or something, it’s a black guy. The white guy’s been there all day, showing me love, but the black guy gets switched out and says, ‘Nah, we can’t switch the dealer.’ … While I’m trying to talk to him, a heckler comes over, somebody drunk. He talking shit to my security. So, as I’m talking to the VP, my security guard goes over to calm that situation down. The VP tells us we gotta leave because we’re upsetting whomever this other person is. The heckler leaves though, but we still gotta leave. While we’re having this conversation, I’m calm. I turn around, there’s 15 police behind me. There’s three of us…Why y’all need so many police? Y’all done treated me like y’all supposed to, I ain’t did nothing crazy. I went crazy after that because I felt disrespected. They weren’t kicking me out the casino; they were kicking me out the high limit. I literally went and gambled for two more hours on the floor. I had rooms the whole weekend and I spent money with the MGM [National Harbor]…F*ck the MGM! I’ve been so smart, so careful and calculated. I’m tired.”

Sheesh.

So is Trigga ready to settle down with a serious relationship and have kids?

“I didn’t wait this long just to have a baby moms. I want a wife. It’s hard to find something concrete in this business… When I say its difficult to be in a situation like this its because women ‘allow’ me to do whatever I want to do.”

Oh really Trigga? Hmph.
