And the New York Knicks’ drama continues!

Knicks owner James Dolan pulled a PR stunt during Sunday’s NBA game between the NY Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs. In an effort to show strong relationship ties between the Knicks organization and their alum amid the Charles Oakley drama, Dolan invited at least nine former players to attend Sunday night’s game.

Even Latrell Sprewell, a player he once feuded with and who was KNOWN to brawl, was invited. Dolan sat between Sprewell, who recently joined Ice Cube's Big3 league, and former Knicks player Bernard King courtside during the game that resulted in a shocking win for the Knicks, 94-90 at Madison Square Garden.

“When I left I was not happy,’’ Sprewell told ABC. “New York is like a second home for me. I love the fans here. The fans embraced me. There’s no place like the Garden to play in. I was very disappointed [with being traded], but we had fun in Minnesota. I’m just happy to be back now. It was very much appreciated.’’

Sprewell also talked about Charles Oakley’s ban (after he was arrested and booted from a previous game) from the Garden.

“It’s obviously a disappointing thing,” Sprewell said. “No one wants to see anything like that. It will be something everybody can just somehow iron out and get past.”

The other Knicks alumni to join Sprewell and King were Larry Johnson, Gerald Wilkins, Vin Baker, John Wallace, Kenny Walker, Herb Williams and Bill Bradley. During the game, the Knicks showed love to the old timers with shoutouts on the jumbotron:

Knicks superstar player Carmelo Anthony was happy to see the legends in the building.

“To see all them guys tonight, that was good,’’ said Carmelo. “They all came in the back, talked to them, mingled with them. I’m a student of the game. I know the history. It was good they were there.”

We see the Knicks PR staff is working overtime.

Love was still shown for Charles Oakley. Knicks lover/filmmaker Spike Lee was in his usual courtside seat rocking an Oakley jersey.

Comedienne Leslie Jones, rocking a sparkly Knicks jersey dress, is featured on the cover of ESPN magazine’s Entertainment Issue alongside Knicks baller Kristaps Porzingis. Shine Leslie!

Grammy Award winner and Chi-town native Chance The Rapper joined fellow Chi-town native/Chicago Bulls forward Jimmy Butler on a 2nd cover for the Entertainment Issue. The duo was all about representing their hometown with Chance wearing a Bulls sweater while Butler dons a throwback pinstripe Michael Jordan jersey.

Here's the thing: We're all for Alicia's newfound "natural beauty" that she wasn't too comfortable about showing years ago without makeup -- before the celebrity skin treatments and Proactive.  But girl, we see powder.  And sparkle.  All over that face and body.  Nope, it's not a full face beat, but it's a partial kick.  Let's keep it 100.  Beautiful song though.

L.A. was poppin’ with several parties to celebrate the Grammy Awards that went down last night. Celebs invaded Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala to salute Industry Icons. And this year’s soiree honored none other than BET CEO Debra Lee.

Jennifer Hudson joined her friend/mentor Clive Davis, who will reportedly produce her first EPIC Records album with L.A. Reid, styling in a black lace jumpsuit before hitting the stage.

The lady of the hour, Debra Lee, was all smiles as she posed it up on the carpet before she was honored at the event.

Despite some many reports about her nasty divorce, Mary J. Blige is still pushing through. Styled by Jason Bolden, the R&B queen served up a metallic Wolk Morais mini dress that showed off her incredible stems.

Amber Rose, rocking a pink and red ATTICO dress, popped up on the carpet with his ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, sparking rumors that they reunited. But, the “How To Be A B*tch” author says not the case. She posted an explanation on Instagram writing:

Now here’s a simple, yet stylish look. “RHOA” star and Grammy Award winner Kandi Burruss snapped it up in a plunging black high slit gown before she joined Doug Davis, executive producer of the annual Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala, on the carpet.

Everybody was stanning out over Beyoncé last night, but it's Adele's speeches that has the internets in a tizzy.  From her "black friends" to demanding Bey win AOTY, get those reactions and more inside...

Adele swept the top 3 Grammy awards last night: Best Song, Record, and Album.  And folks have been going off on social media.  Some are Team Adele explaining why she deserved it all, others are confused on how Beyoncé didn't win even one top category she was nominated for with her epic Lemonade album.

Crazy enough, Adele agrees with the latter. After stirring up some ish on stage during her acceptance speech when she said the album made her "black fiends" now want to stand up for themselves, she went even further backstage with the media.  She told the press,"What's is going to take for her to get Album of the Year?!"

Adele revealed she voted for Beyoncé's Lemonade herself for the category.

The British chick said America's always been very, very kind and she's not too sure why.  But she's incredibily grateful and humbled.

Jay Ellis isn’t spilling too much tea about his relationship with girlfriend Nina Senicar. He says he likes the mystery of it all. Go inside to hear his response when he’s asked how black women will react when they find out he’s dating a white woman…

Don’t ask Jay Ellis about his relationship status because he won’t tell you too much about it. But, he did spill a little tea about his relationship during a recent interview with Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club” recently.

The “Insecure” star is currently dating Italian model Nina Senicar. They made their red carpet debut at amfAR's Inspiration Gala in October 2015. Even before that event, they were spotted together in Milan, Italy and L.A.

We last saw them together attending the International Medical Corps Annual Awards Celebration in December 2016. And while Jay hasn’t posted any pics of Nina on his social media accounts, she has a few flicks of them together on hers.

“I’m in a very happy relationship and that’s just where I leave it," he told The Breakfast Club. “We give so much of ourselves no matter what we do, so a relationship to me is the most important thing that two people can have. So I value privacy, I value respect, not only for myself but for the person who I’m with. I think everybody has to have their boundaries and mine is I keep my personal life personal. I keep things personal. I keep things private."

Then, Jay’s responses had us a bit confused. While earlier he said he was very happy in a relationship, he then said no one really knows if he’s actually in a relationship. He continued,

“I think there’s something a bit magical about the mystery. You don’t know and you don’t need to know. What I said is, whether I’m with a white woman or not, it’s a mystery and it’s a question. You may know, you may not know. As for who I’m actually in a relationship with, nobody really knows but me….But who said I was [in a relationship]? I’ve never come out and said I’m in a relationship. “

Wait…did he forget he just said he was “very happy in a relationship” when they first started talking? Hmph.

Not everybody can play the coy game,and it comes off thirsty and lame if done incorrectly.

In other news, "Insecure" will start filming the second season in April. He said the writers are already four episodes in, but he has no idea what's going to happen in the new season.

Spoiler Alert!  ABC just announced its new bachelorette, and not only is she making history, but she's currently still a contestant on "The Bachelor."  Oops...

That time a major network spoiled its own series weeks early.....

But it's for a major reason....we guess.  After a combined 33 seasons of "The Bachelor" & "The Bachelorette," ABC has cast the first black female lead.

The new Bachelorette will be Rachel Lindsay, Variety has confirmed with sources close to the show.

Not only is Rachel making history, but chick is STILL on the current season of "The Bachelor"!

The official announcement was reportedly supposed to come tonight on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” but a reality show blogger leaked the new early.  Sounds like she's getting voted off tonight.

We hear she actually has pretty good chemistry with the current Bachelor Nick Viall, so tonight's rose ceremony may surprise some folks.

As for Rachel, she's a 31-year-old attorney from Dallas.  And seeing her pool of eligible bachelors she'll be choosing from is sure to be interesting.

Variety reports that the new ABC president is likely to thank for this major turn in diversity as the network has been heavily criticized for years for having next to zero diversity.  They recently cast Juan Pablo as the first Latino Bachelor.  And that's about the extent of the diversity (besides Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher being half white, half Persian).

ABC president Channing Dungey — the first-ever African-American woman to lead a broadcast network — was asked by reporters at TCA about “The Bachelor’s” diversity problem. She said, “I would very much like to see some changes there. I think one of the big changes that we need to do is increase the pool [of contestants] in the beginning.”

It’s cold as hell in NYC, but you can’t tell. Gabrielle Union is turning up the heat in the Big Apple and pretty much hitting up the shows naked.

The “Being Mary Jane” star slipped into a black and white fur coat, seemingly naked underneath, and posted up the hot shot on the ‘Gram. Of course, her comments section is lit. She looks amazing. The fact that she’s 44-years-old and doesn’t look a day over 25, just further proves black don’t CRACK.

Reginae Carter, daughter of Lil Wayne& Toya Wright, is having the time of her life with her friends -- including Emily B’s daughter Taina Williams.

The YBF Teen, styling in a denim shirt and maroon studded two-piece suit, was spotted making her way to a few shows yesterday, including the Prabal Gurung fashion show and the Vivienne Hu runway show.

Inside Skylight Clarkson Sq, Reginae snapped it up with singer Kayla Brianna at the Vivienne Hu show before taking her front row seat.

The new Bachelorette who's making history as the first black lead made her official announcement last night.  See what she had to say about it all inside...

Attorney Rachel Lindsay, as we reported yesterday, is officially the first black Bachelorette.  Last night, she hit Jimmy Kimmel to talk about it.

By the way, her father's a judge.  And we hear she never had that much of a problem dating in her hometown of Dallas.  So it sounds like the publicity train that's about to take off from this upcoming season is likely the biggest draw for Rachel.  As it likely is for most contestants.

Nick Cannon says he’s done with “America’s Got Talent” for treating him like a piece of property. But, will his contract allow him to quit? Get the details inside, plus how Victor Cruz feels about being let go from the New York Giants inside…

Things are shaking up at NBC after Nick Cannon announced he’s quitting his hosting gig on “America’s Got Talent.”

After hosting the show for the last 8 seasons, Mr. NCredible announced in a long Facebook post that he will NOT be returning to the reality competition series.

“I find myself in a dark place having to make a decision that I wish I didn't have to, but as a man, an artist, and a voice for my community I will not be silenced, controlled or treated like a piece of property. There is no amount of money worth my dignity or my integrity,” he wrote on Monday (February 13th).

He said he has enjoyed his time with the show, but he’s over NBC threatening to “put me in my place” for his actions.

“I have loved hosting AMERICA'S GOT TALENT for the last 8 seasons, watching talented, brave, and courageous Americans accomplish their dreams in front of millions has been nothing but a joy, and everyone has been a pleasure to work with but my soul won't allow me to be in business with corporations that attempt to frown on freedom of speech, censor artists, and question cultural choices. Not to get too detailed but this isn't the first time executives have attempted to ‘put me in my place’ for so called unruly actions. I will not stand for it.”

Nick said it’s not about the money, it’s about principles. He said he’s going to miss the fans the most.“It's never been about the money for me, what is difficult to walk away from is the fans, the people who love me on the show. This hurts tremendously.”

He continued,

“So I wish AGT and NBC the best in its upcoming season but I can not see myself returning.”

The 36-year-old host decided to leave “AGT” amid controversy over a joked he told during his recent Showtime stand-up special “Stand Up, Don’t Shoot.”

The joke that got NBC’s panties all in bunch? He said:

“I grew up like a real n*gga, but I honestly believe, once I started doing ‘America’s Got Talent,’ they took my real n*gga card. They did! Because then, like, these type of people started showing up to my shows.” Nick then pointed to three white people sitting in the front row. “I can’t do the real n*gga stuff no more because then they’ll put me on TMZ.”

He continued,

“I apologize white people. We over here talking about b*tches and players and stuff, and you think this is ‘America’s Got Talent.’ It’s going to be a little different tonight. ‘America’s Got Talent,’ but America’s got n*ggas too. Matter of fact, that’s what NBC gonna stand for tonight. N*gga Better Com On, ‘cuz n*ggas be cussing! So n*gga be careful.”

Although Nick has made his up his mind he will not be returning to the show…will he really be able to quit?

The “AGT” host and the four judges signed contracts last August to return for the next season, which means he may not be able to resign for the upcoming cycle. Guess we will have to wait and see how this will end.

After seven seasons with the New York Giants, NFL wide receiver Victor Cruz has been let go by the organization. The Giants reportedly let Cruz go to free up salary-cap space.

In a video posted on Uninterrupted’s Instagram page, Victor said he’s not upset about the released and reflected on the good times he had with the Giants. Peep the clip above.

It's interesting to note, Victor nearly missed the entire 2014 and 2015 football seasons due to injuries, but the team kept him on the roster. He returned to the gridiron in September 2016 and seemingly had a pretty good year and now they're releasing him.

Well this is a shocker. The wife and stepson of KKK imperial wizard Frank Ancona have been arrested and charged with his death. Find out the reason why inside…

A Missouri KKK imperial wizard was found dead over the weekend. And now, police have arrested a man and a woman for his death.

51-year-old Frank Ancona, Ku Klux Klan imperial wizard of the Traditional American Knights, was found dead on the bank of Big River four days after he went missing from his home in Leadwood, MO. A family discovered his body while on a fishing trip.

According to KMOV, Frank’s wife, 44-year-old Malissa Ann Ancona, and his stepson, 24-year-old Paul Edward Jinkerson Jr., were charged with first degree-murder in connection to his death. They were also charged with armed criminal action, tampering with physical evidence and abandonment of a corpse.

St. Francois County Prosecutor Jarrod Mahurin believes the motive in the fatal shooting is a marital issue. He believes Frank was shot in his head in his home because he told his wife he wanted a divorce.

STL Today reports:

Jinkerson shot his sleeping stepfather in the bedroom of the victim’s home in Leadwood, sheriff’s Detective Matt Wampler wrote in an affidavit accompanying the charges. Ancona’s body was taken in Jinkerson’s vehicle to an area outside Belgrade, where it was dumped near the Big River, Wampler wrote.

Malissa Ancona told investigators that he had been sent on a trip deliver a part [for his job], but the employer denied that. She told authorities she had last seen her husband Wednesday.

When investigators searched the Ancona home Saturday, they found “extensive blood evidence” in the master bedroom, officials said. Malissa Ancona told police in a recorded interview that Jinkerson shot her husband, and she helped clean up the blood and tried to cover up the crime, Wampler wrote.

Mahurin said that both Ancona and Jinkerson were involved in disposal of the body and the cleanup.

We definitely didn’t see that ish coming when this story first broke yesterday.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

In case you were wondering about the black man in the picture with Frank above, they apparently formed a "friendship" despite their different beliefs. The man is a blues musician, named Darryl Davis, who formed an alliance with Frank following the South Carolina church massacre that took the lives of 9 churchgoers by gunman Dylan Roof.

While L.A. is a big city, when you share a lot of the same friends, it’s hard to steer clear of your ex. Exes Chris Brown and Karrueche were spotted at the same GQ Grammy afterparty held at Chateau Marmont celebrating Chance The Rapper’s three Grammy wins on Sunday.

This isn’t the first time the former couple has been spotted partying it up at the same bash. They’ve been in the same building several times since they’ve called it quits. But, we wonder if this time was a bit more awkward after Breezy went OFF on Kae’s stylist’s friend on Instagram back in January. And Breezy reportedly brought his new rumored model girlfriend Vanessa Vargas (likely her above in the whip with Breezy) along with him.

We wonder if Kae made this face after seeing her ex.  We damn sure would have...

As Kae and her bestie Christina Milian, rocking a Cristina Nitopi dress, left the venue photogs asked who they think will win in the celebrity boxing match between Chris and Soulja Boy. Kae responded, "ME!" Check it below:

Kel Mitchell is gearing up to be a dad for the third time. And the baby announcement...is everything!

The “Kenan & Kel” alum and his wife Asia Lee put a fun “Good Burger” spin to announce their upcoming bundle of joy. It’s Kel’s third baby and their first baby together.

Decked out in gear from his classic film Good Burger, the 38-year-old announced, “We have a bun in the oven! thank you @therealasialee for being the best Wife to me the best Friend to me and now the best Mom to our blessed baby!! I love you so much!”

They nailed it, staring into each other’s eyes in their Good Burger hats while holding a burger and orange soda. Ha! "Who loves orange soda? Kel loves orange soda. I do, I do, I doooo."

Baby Mithcell will be joining Kel’s 17-year-old son Lyric and his 15-year-old daughter Allure.

The Fist Fight world premiere went down in L.A. last night. Star Tracy Morgan dished on working on his first film since he was involved in a fatal car accident. Find out what he said, plus peep pics from the film’s premiere inside…

Tracy Morgan, above alongside his co-star Ice Cube and director Richie Keen, opens up about filming his first movie since he was involved in a horrific car crash that almost took his life (and took the life of his friend) in 2014.

YBF correspondent Kiara Walker chopped it up with Tracy recently

The comedian dished on how making others laugh can be so rewarding even while he went through his own personal troubles.

“Bringing laughs to people when you're having difficulties can be rewarding and it's great to see that others admire your work,” Tracy told TheYBF.com. “Working after such a challenge is amazing. Family helps tremendously. It's important to keep going especially when you're faced with big challenges. The movie is another great opportunity.”

The world premiere of Fist Fight, which was shot in late 2015 in Atlanta, went down at the Regency Village Theatre in L.A. last night. 

His wife Meagan Wollover joined him on the carpet and the couple was all wrapped up in love. Since the accident, Tracy has praised his wife on several occasions, showing how grateful he is that she stuck by his side during such a hard time in his life.

Tracy’s co-star and executive Ice Cube was on the scene for the L.A. premiere bringing his wife Kimberly Woodruff along as his date.

Star Kym Whitley joined the entire cast on the carpet. Looking good Kym.

Bad and boujee! “Empire” star Ta’Rhonda Jones served face on the carpet.

“Devious Maids” star Dania Ramirez sparkled in a gold frock on the carpet.

The fellas linked up with co-star JoAnna Garcia during the event.

After Sunday night's Grammy's, Beyonce's Album of the Year loss is still a buzz-worthy topic amongst the masses.  Even Adele herself, after she won the award, says Bey should have won.

Apparently, legendary guitarist Carlos Santana thought his input would shed some light on what happened. 

He gave a possible reason, according to himself, about why his 2003 Super Bowl co-performer Beyoncé didn't win that top honor for her album Lemonade.  While chatting with the Australian press, he said:

"I think that Adele won because she can sing, sing. She doesn't bring all the dancers and props, she can just stand there and she just stood there and sang the song and that's it, and this is why she wins," Santana told AAP.

"With all respect to our sister Beyonce, Beyonce is very beautiful to look at and it's more like modelling kind of music - music to model a dress - she's not a singer, singer, with all respect to her," he said.

Oh?  Since when is the criteria for Album of the Year that one can't have dancers and superb production to go along with one's fabulous ass singing?  Hmph.

He knew he f'd up, so he flew in with a statement via his official Facebook page to clarify.  It reads:

I would like to clarify a comment that was reported when I was doing an interview for some upcoming shows in Australia & New Zealand. My intent was to congratulate Adele on her amazing night at the Grammies. My comment about Beyonce was regretfully taken out of context. I have the utmost respect for her as an artist and a person. She deserves all the accolades that come her way. I wish Beyonce and her family all the best.

Not sure what the context was supposed to be, but ok.

Ava DuVernay continues to wow us with her powerful body of work and she’s proud of everything she has created. The fab directress is featured on the cover of ESSENCE’s March “Black Women In Hollywood” issue. Go inside for a few insightful quotes she dropped about being a female director and more…

If you follow Ava DuVernay’s work then you know she’s nothing but the truth. “Queen Sugar” will have you all in your feelings as you start investing in the characters she created, while her documentary 13th will open your eyes on how America has never been in favor for the black man/woman. She uses storytelling like no other and she takes it very serious to convey different messages to the masses.

The fab directress graces the cover of ESSENCE’s March “Black Women In Hollywood” issue where she opens up about her films, which she dubs as her “children,” and how she approaches directing. Her good friends Oprah and David Oyelowo also dish on Ava’s directing style.

Read the highlights below:

On her "children": “I want to do what I want to do for as long as I want to do it. I don’t have children. These films are my children. So this is what I will leave. I’m going to give them all the love and nurturing I can and send them out into the world to do what they’re gonna do…”

On her approach to directing:“I don’t have to approach film like a man would, or like anybody else I read about, because it’s personal…so there’s no right way or wrong way. Directors talk about their process but that doesn’t have to be my process. My process is where the sets feel very familial, where I like to know my cast personally and where I value who people are more than their names…[It’s important to] imbue the sets and the experience with a sense of myself, a sense of warmth, a sense of family, not shying away from the things…that make me a Black woman, and just embracing those things and letting that come out in the material itself…”

Oprah on Ava as a director: “I saw Ava on the set of Selma, out in 104 degrees, finding knee pads for some of the older women who needed them. She’s walking around handing out knee pads: ‘Ma’am, here. Put this on your knees. Ma’am, I think you should have some water.’ And she’s got a whole thing of waters. She, the director, comes from behind the camera and she’s passing out water…”

David Oyelowo on working with Ava: “Who we are intersects with what we create, and Ava is someone I genuinely adore spending time with. I refer to her as my sister because I feel like I’ve known her far longer than I have. We barely need to say words for me to know what she needs out of me…” [Excerpt: ‘His goal, adds Oyelowo, is to continue to doing projects with her forever: “Until the day I die…”’]

If you thought Prison Bae, real name Jeremy Meeks, had ran out of his 15 minutes of fame, guess again.

Prison Bae is taking over New York Fashion week making his runway debut at Philipp Plein’s Fall/Winter 2017/2018 Women's And Men's Fashion Show held at The New York Public Library on Monday night (February 13th).

You’ll recall, Prison Bae, who was sentenced for a felony weapons conviction, became a viral sensation after his mugshot was reposted on damn near everyone’s timeline in 2014. After the hot shot started making its rounds on the Internet streets, modeling agencies everywhere were trying to lock him into a modeling contract. He eventually signed to White Cross Management and now, here we are.

Oh, and sorry ladies, Prison Bae is a married man. No harm in looking though right?

Now, he’s rubbing elbows with the elite model crowd, snapping it up with designer Philipp Plein before the show.

The couple met on the set of Legend's 2007 music video "Stereo," and now they’re 10 years in the coupledom game. The La La Land star gushed about why he loves his wife and dished on how Chrissy never pressured him into taking their relationship to higher heights. Aww.
