Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert’s daughter Iman “Junie” Shumpert Jr. is one already!

Last year, Baby Junie made her grand entrance into the world on December 16th and her delivery story was certainly one for the books.

Daddy Iman had to jump into action quick to deliver Baby Junie on the bathroom floor because Teyana didn't realize she was in labor until the last minute.  Daddy Iman ended up tying the umbilical cord with a cord to a pair of headphones until the paramedics arrived. 

Hard to believe that was a year ago already.

Yesterday, Teyana and Iman threw a “Bug’s Life” themed birthday to celebrate their baby girl’s first birthday. Junie’s god mommy Monica and god sister Laiyah Brown were in attendance for the birthday festivities.

Moana star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson celebrated his daughter Jasmine’s first birthday over the weekend. She turned one on Friday (December 16th). 

The“Sexiest Man Alive” posted up a sweet video where he’s singing Happy Birthday to his baby girl (whom he shares with girlfriend Lauren Hashian) as she looks on clapping her hands in excitement. "Who's the best daddy in the world?" he asked.

Hip Hop dancer Stephen "tWitch" Boss and his wife/”Dancing With The Stars” dancer Allison Holker hosted a fun kiddie party for charity.

The “Dance For Kids Holiday Party," presented by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, went down at the Avalon in L.A. yesterday and several YBF families came out for the fun. The dancing couple brought their little ones out for the party and snapped it up on the carpet with actor Brian White before hitting the dance floor.

Actor Aldis Hodge, who will star in Hidden Figures, was all smiles on the carpet with his actor brother Edwin Hodge (The Purge: Election Year). Edwin just wrapped up filming a TV mini series titled “Six” set to debut in January 2017.

Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and his family came out to party it up for charity.

Mariah Carey was up to her diva antics on late night television last night and no one was safe. The Pop diva went OFF on Demi Lovato, shaded Ariana Grande, played coy about her rumored boyfriend Bryan Tanaka and opened up a bit about her breakup with James Packer. Get it all inside…

Mariah Carey is known to say what’s on her mind and she did just that last night on “Watch What Happens Live.”

The Elusive Chanteuse singer strolled into the clubhouse to chop it up with Andy Cohen about an array of topics and, of course, her new reality show “Mariah’s World.” Being her usual over the top glamorous self, MiMi worked a deep v-neck jumpsuit, sky high booties and was dripping in diamonds for her late night appearance.

MiMi’s diva meter was on 1,000! During a game of “Plead The Fifth,” the 46-year-old songstress had to set another Pop diva straight. Apparently, singer Demi Lovato took issue with Mariah’s shade towards Jennifer Lopez. The infamous “I don’t know her” line set Demi off, so she blasted her on social media. Andy asked her about it and MiMi set Demi straight once and for all.

“I don’t know her either and so I wouldn’t say anything to her. She should come up, introduce herself to me, say ‘Here’s my opinion, what do you think about it?’ That’s how you handle sh*t, OK?”

During the game, she was also asked about her new boy toy Bryan Tanaka. Are they really a couple? Was he a factor in her breakup with James Packer? MiMi wouldn’t say. She basically kept saying everyone needed to tune in to her reality show to find out the real deal.

During a game of “Does She Know Her?!,” Andy went down a list of famous pop singers to see if Mariah knew any of them. When it came to Ariana Grande being compared to be a mini Mariah, well let’s just say MiMi “does not know her” either. Ha!

“I don’t know. Honestly, I’m not familiar. I listen to Hip Hop more than I listen to pop music.”

Then, she talked about her breakup with her ex-billionaire fiancé James Packer. A fan called in to ask if she took out scenes with James in “Mariah’s World.” She answered, “Yeah, I don’t want to put anybody in a position where they have to look at somebody they don’t want to see or its hurtful. It’s so fresh and it kind of just happened.”

But, Mariah isn’t taking the breakup too bad. When asked if their uncoupling stung her she responded, “No, I think that everything that’s meant to be it’s meant to be. I believe if it were supposed to happen, it would happen.”

She also showed love to Beyonce, saying “We’re friends. I think she’s one of the most talented women out there. I love her.”

Common interviews his ex-girlfriend Serena Williams for a candid discussion about body image, race and her legacy in a new interview for ESPN that aired last night. And THAT was one for the books. Go inside for the highlights…

Tennis superstar Serena Williams and rap icon Common were once madly in love. That relationship has fizzled, but they’re still really good friends.

The former lovers sit down for an hour-long ESPN special, “The Undefeated In-Depth: Serena with Common” that aired last night where they discussed an array of topics.

Making waves through the tennis world Serena and her sister Venus Williams single handily changed the game of tennis. But, it wasn’t easy. They were (and still are) two African-American women playing (and slaying) a predominately white sport.

During the discussion with Common, Rena talked about how she dealt with being the only black person in her sport and how she never wanted to be like everyone else.

“Growing up and playing these tournaments when I was younger, I really didn’t see a lot of people that was my color,” she said. “I think I just got used to it. Then when you go to like Russia, you just really kind of stick out. I like to stick out. One thing about me, I don’t want to be everyone else. When everyone’s doing something, I’m probably going to try it a different way because I just like to be different. I don’t want to fit in a mold.”

Serena is arguably the greatest tennis player of our time, but that came with scrutiny. With her body structure, he competitive attitude, and confidence, everyone had something to say about Serena where at one time made her feel like her body was inadequate.

“There was a time where I didn’t feel incredibly comfortable about my body, because I felt like I was too strong," Serena shared. "And then I had to take a second and think, who says I’m too strong? This body has enabled me to be the greatest player I can be and I’m not going to scrutinize that. This is great. I mean, this is amazing.”

While strides have been made in the sport of tennis in regards to race, sexism is still prevalent. When asked if she thinks she would ever be considered as one of the greatest athletes ever, she said if she wasn’t a woman or black that wouldn’t even be a question.

“I think, if I were a man, I would’ve been in that conversation a long, long time ago. Like six, seven years ago. Eight years ago … I think being a woman is a whole new set of problems from a society that you have to deal with, as well -- and being black. So it’s a lot to deal with. Especially lately, I’ve been able to really, really speak up for women’s rights, as well, because I think that gets lost in color or gets lost in cultures. We are doctors, we are lawyers, we are athletes, we are everything. We are CEOs. Women make up so much of this world.”

Don’t talk about DeMarcus Cousins’ family because he’ll go straight savage on you. Peep the clip of the Sacramento Kings baller cursing out a reporter in the locker room inside…

Don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing!

Sacramento Kings player DeMarcus Cousins had an issue with Sacramento Bee columnist Andy Furillo, so he went OFF on him after a game in the team’s locker room recently.

What set DeMarcus off exactly? Well, if you haven’t heard, DeMarcus and Matt Barnes were involved in scuffle inside a NYC nightclub earlier this month where they both ended up being sued. Catch that tea HERE.

In an article, Andy wrote about the incident and he also wrote about DeMarcus’ brother Jaleel Cousins’ (an aspiring NBA player) past legal issues where he was arrested at a Tampa bar back in May. That pissed DeMarcus off, so he confronted Andy.

In a video published by The Bee, a shirtless DeMarcus got up in the reporter’s face and laid into his a** saying,

“We’re going to have some real f*cking issues! Don’t EVER mention my brother again. You don’t know my f*cking brother. F*cking coward.”

He wasn’t done…

“You can say whatever the f*ck you want to say about me, but don’t mention my motherf*cking family.”

Sheesh! Dude was pissed.

Someone stepped in to push DeMarcus away from Andy. After the run in, DeMarcus refused to talk to any media as long as Andy was in the room.

The clip continued with footage of DeMarcus either confronting reporters or refusing to answer media questions if a particular reporter was in the room.

Sacramento Kings coach Dave Joergeraddressed the situation on Sunday in a pregame media conference saying:
 

“I do think what The Sacramento Bee did the other day was just ridiculous. This guy is the face of our franchise,” Joerger said. “He’s done and said some things that he wishes he could do over. He’s improved; he’s gotten better. But to go and use other reporters, third person, oh he bullies his coaches or he bullies, that is (trash). And to put it out there like that, that is ridiculous.”

He continued, “They put my family on blast, my wife, my two kids with their names and their ages in an article about my house. I’m not justifying anything he’s done. What he did is excessive, we’ve talked about it.”

The Kings organization said they are "investigating the incident."  

So we have to ask, was DeMarcus wrong for confronting the reporter?

Rapper Maino and Rick Ross take it back to their hometowns to show love. Maino was recognized for his philanthropic works while Rozay copped a Checkers in his hometown. More inside…

Over the weekend, Brooklyn rapper Maino was recognized for his charitable efforts in the community. The emcee was honored, awarded and named Hip Hop Ambassador of Brooklyn at the Immanuel & First Spanish Church located in Brooklyn.

The City Council, NY State Assembly, Brooklyn Borough President and the NY State Senate recognized Maino, dubbed the King of Brooklyn, with four awards in total for all of the hard work he has put in for the community.

Along with the Hip Hop Ambassador of Brooklyn title, he also received tow Exemplary Service in the Community Awards and the Turn Your Life Around Award. Nice! 

Right before Christmas, Maino will host a Children’s Christmas Extravaganza on Christmas Eve at the Brooklyn Stuy Dome. Doing it big for the kids!

“Love & Hip Hop: New York” star/Power 105 on-air personality DJ Self was also honored alongside Brooklyn’s finest politicians and community leaders.

Rick Ross is known for his Wing Stop restaurants. Now, he’s getting his feet wet in the burger business. And his latest purchase is a special one.

The Maybach Music honcho (along with his sister Tawanda Roberts) just copped his favorite hometown hangout in Miami Gardens, Florida. – Checkers! The news comes on the heels of Ross’ just-released music video for his new single "Buy Back The Block," featuring Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz.

Rozay also has a new album coming out in 2017 titled Rather You Than Me.

The burger joint has sentimental value to the rapper because he used to hang out at the restaurant as a teenager. He used to work at a car wash across the street making $30/day and when he got off, he and his friends would meet there to catch up.
 

Rozay and his sister plan to use the purchase as a way to preserve a local favorite, where neighborhood friends and family can create new memories, as well as invigorating the local economy by offering employment opportunities to local job-seekers.

"As a rap superstar and business mogul, I am excited to embark on this new partnership with Checkers,” Rozay said. “I grew up eating Checkers in my neighborhood so it brings me great pride to be able to represent the brand and help keep the culture alive. More importantly, I am happy to be able to create jobs and give back to the Carol City community - a community that has been a continuous inspiration in my life and helped mold me into the boss that I am today."

Kanye West's stay at UCLA medical center has caused some nosy staffers to get fired.  Deets below, plus the story behind him paying a quarter of a million to a family memebr to stop them from releasing 'Ye's sex tape....

When Kanye West was rushed to UCLA Medical Center during his nervous breakdown earlier this month, some staffers apparently were nosy as all hell.  They reportedly were sniffing through his medical records on their computer system trying to see what was really going on with him.  Now, many hospital staffers have gotten fired and the hospital administration is investigating a slew of employees.

TMZ reports:

Multiple sources tell us ... members of the Medical Center staff were curious when Kanye was admitted and a number of them attempted to gain access to the computer system. Several sources tell us officials at the Medical Center have conducted an investigation. One source says several dozen people have been or will be fired. Other sources simply say the investigation is ongoing and they expect firings.

Hmph.  Meanwhile, Kanye is facing other legal drama of his own.  According to his own cousin, he Kanye paid $250,000 to his own family member to stop them from releasing a sex tape featuring Kanye and "a fair skinned woman."

Ugh.

Daily Mail claims they spoke to Kanye's 31-year-old cousin Lawrence Franklin who spilled some alleged tea about a certain sextape featuring the "Black Skinheads" rapper.  Apparently, Kanye gave away a laptop as a gift in 2012.  On that laptop, allegedly, is footage of sexcapades between Kanye and "an unknown fair skinned black woman."

Lawrence (pictured above with Kanye and 'Ye's Aunt Shirley) says this is how it went down:

'I was at my aunt's house when the family member who had the laptop called me, a friend of his, and my uncle to the kitchen where he opened the laptop to show a video of Kanye in clear view having sex with a fair-skinned black woman. 'The family member knew what he had was gold, and later called an old friend of his that was an attorney. 'He put together a small team him and his attorney went after Kanye, and to show that they meant business they leaked a little information publicly to let it be know they indeed had the footage. 'The family member tried to keep a low profile but it was not long before Kanye's team learned who it was that had the sex tape.'

Then the family member took the money and bought himself an entirely new lifestyle, which pissed off Kanye.

'Eventually the family member agreed to give Kanye the laptop for a large amount of money - more than $250,000, and ensure there were no other copies. 'He was was also required to take a lie detector test regarding the laptop. 'The family member got this money and started to buy himself a lifestyle he dreamed about. 'This did make Kanye upset, but it was all kept quiet. It caused a huge rift in our family.'

Well that could explain why we rarely see Kanye with his own family anymore. Lawrence says the sex tape debacle mixed with grief is where Kanye's paranoia and mental issues began.

'The sex tape episode started his decline - he stopped trusting people.  At the end of the day if a member of your family had taken you for a quarter of a million dollars - so they can complete their own ambitions - who can you trust within your circle? 'This was also around the time when his mother has just died and he takes a lot of responsibility for that. 'When you go from being a regular person to being a huge star - and having all of these mounting issues and being completely void of the normalcy that you once had - it's tough. 'Where do you go? Who do you trust at the end of the day?'

And in what seemed like a staged attempt to shut down split rumors, Kanye and Kim made their first appearance in together Sunday night, to walk to their car together.  So interesting how we haven't seen them out together in two months, but when the divorce noise is louder than ever, they magically appear.  That's not to say we totally believe the split rumors, we're just saying.

The Ford Motor Company presented an Atlanta tribute mural to Bessie Branham Park in celebration of the art, music and magic that is birthed in the city and fostered in the Kirkwood community based recreation center. The mural was created by Kashmir Thompson and brought to life with the colorful interpretations of over 500 Atlantans.

On Sunday's night episode of "Real Housewives of Atlanta," things got real between Kandi (above at her "Sip and Shop" event over the weekend) and her former bestie Phaedra Parks.

The ladies met up for lunch to try and hash out their differences and tea was spilled. Kandi revealed while Phaedra was gearing up for her ex-husband Apollo Nida to go to jail, she had already started dating other people, alluding that she was cheating on Apollo during their marriage. Oh?

Kandi said Phaedra tried to use her as an scapegoat because Phaedra would act like she was so hurt and sad that Apollo was going to jail, but was telling her something totally different.

It aint nothin' but a gangsta party! The Rock Hall Class of 2017 Inductees were just announced, and Tupac Shakur has officially landed in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Deets and the other inductees below...

Tupac and his late mother Afeni Shakur are celebrating above, because the influential rapper just landed a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the Performers category.

The west coast poet became the personification and standard for hip hop during and after his short 25 years in the world.  His impact on artists from Eminem to Kendrick Lamar to beyond is incomparable, and we're glad he's getting his due.

This was Tupac's second year of eligibility and his first nomination. Back in October, he was nominated along with many others like Janet Jackson and Chaka Khan, neither of whom made it this year.

Musician Nile Rodgers also landed a spot as the recipient of the Award for Music Excellence.

The hall's 32nd annual induction ceremony will take place on April 7 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. HBO will show highlights later, with SiriusXM doing a radio broadcast.

A little over a month before he and his family leave the White House, President Barack Obama is flexing his power as Commander-In-Chief.

POTUS just reduced the sentences of 153 prisoners convicted of federal crimes and pardoned 78 others, totaling 231 people who will receive clemency from the president. The move is marked as the largest act of clemency by any U.S. president in one day.

The prisoners who had their sentences reduced were all convicted on drug crimes. According to reports, some will be released in 2017 and 2018, while others will have to wait several years before their release date.

In a statement, White House Counsel Neil Eggleston said the 231 people who benefited from the act were all “deserving” and that they "have all demonstrated that they are ready to make use — or have already made use — of a second chance."

And get this…

Mr. Eggleston also revealed POTUS will likely grant more commutations and pardons before he leaves office on January 20th.

Throughout his presidency, POTUS has been an advocate on prison reform for our racially and socioeconomically unjust justice system. In an effort to help those with unjustified lengthy sentences, he has shortened 1,176 sentences over the last eight years, more than any of the U.S. presidents that came before him. He has also pardoned 148 prisoners throughout his time in the White House.

When you’re one of the biggest entertainers of our time, there’s always someone looking for a come up. And that may be the case in this new Beyonce lawsuit.

A man named Dwayne Walker is reportedly suing Mrs. Carter for using the Roc-A-Fella logo in her “Drunk In Love” video with her husband Jay Z. In the visual, Hov is rocking a Roc-A-Fella chain and if you don’t look quickly, you hardly even see it. But, Dwayne wants his cut.

He says Bey didn’t ask for permission to use the logo in her video and since he still owns the rights to the logo, he wants some dough. No word yet on how much he’s suing for.

Dwayne is no stranger to the Carter Family. He tried to swindle $7 million from Jay Z after he sued the Hip Hop mogul (Damon Dash and Universal Music Group) in March 2014. He ended up losing in September 2016.

The guy is persistent.

Another day, another source of foolywang material.  This time it involves an allegedly drunk Blac Chyna who supposedly beat fiancé Rob Kardashian's a$$ over the weekend.  Literally.  Deets below...

It seems the fall out is continuing from this past weekend's huge fight between Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian that played out over social media. After Chyna's Instagram was hacked (she alluded to the hacker being Rob himself) and Rob took to Snapchat weepy eyed and shaky-voiced about Chyna taking the baby and leaving him, there's more ish that's leaking.

Now, E! News claims the fight turned physical prior to Chyna moving out of the house:

"She was punching him in his back and arms and was in a drunken rage," a source says. Kris Jenner's boyfriend Corey Gamble walked in on their fight "and ripped Chyna off of Rob."

On a sidenote, Corey STAYS in the mix, doesn't he?

Could this be just another example of the smear campaign machine the Kardashians are KNOWN to do to others when a break up is about to happen?  

Interestingly, one of the texts that "leaked" on Chyna's Instagram over the weekend was one where she told her bestie -- assumingly jokingly -- that she should beat his ass like she did Tyga. She said specifically, "I don't wanna treat him like Tyga but I will. Imma slap the s--t outta him."

Rob did an Instagram apology tour for the last two days, pouring out his heart about missing his fiance and his baby after Chyna blasted him for verbally abusing her and having bi-polar disorder.

"This weekend I was in an emotional bad place and did some things that embarrassed myself and my family. I apologize and I'm seeking help to deal with my flaws/issues.  Please pray for me and I'm sorry @blacchyna. You are a great mother to our child and I love you."

"I am going to get better for you Dream," he said. "You are my life and gave me a new start on being a better me."

Chyna chimed in on his page angrily calling him out for being fake and revealing she had JUST sent him the pic of Dream that he posted.

E! also says Rob's sisters are fed up with their coupledom and Chyna is not welcome at their annual Christmas Eve party:

"The sisters don't want anything to do with this relationship. They see how fake it is. It's so unhealthy for their brother. They see how Chyna is using their family for fame and money and they aren't going to let it happen anymore. The family accepted her but since Chyna is now showing who she really is, they don't want anything to do with her. They have real-life problems going on and are trying to have a positive New Year and not this drama."

The source says everything is "fine" now between the engaged couple but Chyna is going to stay at her own house for a while (and not Kylie's old house that she and Rob moved into).

Y'all know Tamar wanted to go all the way in when Bishop Jakes told her that her former place of employment has allegedly dipped in ratings since she left. But she kept it Jesus-like and issued some sanctified shade. At least that's how many folks interpreted it.

A&E is about to blow the lid off the KKK with a new docuseries that will follow members of the organization who want out, family members who want nothing to do with the KKK and anti-hate activists. Details about the show inside…

For those who like to say there's no racism in 2016, here’s the perfect example that racism is still alive and well today.

A&E got unprecedented access to film prominent Klan families to give viewers an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes of the KKK.

“Generation KKK” is an eight-part documentary series (with footage from over a year and a half) that will follow members of the Ku Klux Klan and those who wish to leave the hate group. It will center around the children who are being lured into the ways of the KKK and family members of Klansmen who are fighting to stop the vicious cycle, according to executive producer Aengus James.

In the new trailer, Steven Howard, the Imperial Wizard of the North Mississippi White Knights, is shown teaching his children how to be come future Klansmen. Steven wishes for his daughter Maggie to become the first female Imperial Wizard, but Maggie wants no parts of it. In fact, she has black friends that she considers to be her closest friends, unbeknownst to her father.

In another clip, Steven is seen gifting three of his daughters with Klan hoodies. It’s reported that the KKK is growing in numbers. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the number of independent Klan chapters in the United States (there is no national organization) grew from 72 to 190 between 2014 and 2015. The Anti-Defamation League estimates membership at 3,000, while the law center places the figure at between 5,000 and 8,000.

The series will also follow anti-hate activists who are fighting against the KKK. Daryle Lamont Jenkins is the founder of One Peoples Project. The organization monitors and publishes information about alleged racist and far right groups and individuals. It will also introduce anti-hate activist Arno Michaelis and Bryon Widner, both former white supremacists.

While A+E tends to focus on educational aspects of America history and entertainment, social media has been on fire about whether or not this series is necessary.  And, if it's actually giving credence and a platform to hate.  Some combat that argument saying that America needs to see and feel exactly WHY we are not in a post-racial society like many think we are.  This series could serve as that educational wake up call.

Drake is always rumored to be dating somebody.  The Taylor Swift thing was never believable and was all to promote Drake's new Apple iTunes commercial.  But this new Jennifer Lopez rumor....it holds water.

A source tells TMZ that while it's not a full fledged relationship or anything, there's definitely "something going on" between the "Views" rapper and "Booty" singer.  Apparently, they are working on a project together and that's why he was recently at two of her concerts.  She's working on a new album, one that's executive produced by her (newly divorced) ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Drake threw an intimate party with about 20 people at Delilah nightclub Monday in L.A., and Jennifer was one of his guests.  They were even caught making a quick getaway:

The source says it's not what you think (yet), but it's definitely on its way there.  They've been spending a lot of time together.

Azealia Banks is known to stir up controversy on social media. And since she has been banned on Twitter, Facebook is her new home to air out all of her frustrations.

The “212” rapper revealed on social media today that she suffered a miscarriage. In a vulnerable post (that she has since deleted), the Harlem native opened up to her fans about the unfortunate event and reached out for words of wisdom from those who have gone through the same situation. She said she feels like a failure along with feeling guilt, confusion and a tad bit depressed.

She wrote:

Very sad situation. 

Before she got candid about what’s going on in her personal life, she fired shots at Nicki Minaj. Apparently, Nicki shaded Azealia in her new mobile game “Nicki Minaj: The Empire,” where gamers create their own rap empire.

In a screenshot from the game (captured by XXL), a game character slams fictional artist Fan2Sea where she’s compared to a mermaid. Her music is said to sound like a mermaid, which is essentially a "loud, obnoxious screech."

The relation to Banks? Well, she dropped a mixtape in 2012 titled Fantasea and she’s featured as a mermaid on the cover. Coincidence? We doubt it. And Banks is pissed about it.

So, she served up a length read aimed at the Young Money rapper, urging her to lose weight and to stop calling herself the "queen of rap." She slammed Nicki writing:
