YBF actors won BIG Sunday night at the Critics' Choice Awards.  Courtney B. Vance and Sterling K. Brown aren't the only ones who walked away with some hardware.  Donald Glover, Viola Davis, Mahershala Ali and the cast of "Moonlight" also made MAJOR waves.  Deets inside...

Our faves are finally getting recognized!  After a successful debut season of "Atlanta" on FX, actor/rapper Donald Glover copped the Best Actor in a Comedy Series award for 'Atlanta'.  Woot!

He hopped on stage at the Santa Monica Barker Hangar to accept his first major solo acting award, and it's much deserved.

Actor Mahershala Ali accepted the Best Supporting Actor award for 'Moonlight', and pulled double duty with the awards when his cast -- including Janelle Monae and Naomie Harris -- won for Best Acting Ensemble.  We've been loving him since "House of Cards," so it's great to see him getting his due.
 

Viola Davis also pulled double duty as she won for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Fences! She also nabbed the "See Her"  Award for being an all around fabulous chick.

Awards season is in full effect.  YBF celebs came out in droves for the big 22nd annual Critics' Choice Awards at Santa Monica's Barker Hangar.

Central Intelligence star Kevin Hart & Eniko looked amazing as usual.

Eniko rocked a sexy Brandon Maxwell gown for the occasion.  Kev's movie was nominated for Best Comedy.

Kerry Washington returned to the red carpet after a maternity break rocking a messy braid and a see0through Elie Saab cocktail dress.

The Confirmation star was spotted talking up Lily Collins in the audience.

Nia Long, who stars in the upcoming Lifetime movie Beaches, made her arrival.

Big winner Sterling K. Brown had his real life wife and "This Is Us" co-star Ryan Bathe right by his side.

His on-screen wife Susan Kelechi Watson was also there in a gorgeous, deep plunging blue gown.

Tracee Ellis Ross is a season ahead as she rocked a spring-ready Zuhair Murad look with nude Louboutins and a matching Louboutin clutch.

Her on-screen husband Anthony Anderson rocked sneakers with his tux, per usual.

Viola Davis came out as a double winner Sunday night, but first, she hit the carpet with her husband and producing partner Julius Tennon.

Leave it to Moonlight star Janelle Monae to pull off a black & white checkered dress.

Courtney B. Vance took home another trophy for his portrayal of Johnnie Cochran, but he first hit the carpet to soak up all the love.

Actor Mahershala Ali is having the best year ever!  He's starring in everything from House of Cards to Luke Cage to Moonlight.  Yesss.  He hit the carpet with artist wife Amatus Sami-Karim.

Lisa Bonet -- who recently made surprise co-starring appearances on Ray Donovan and "Girls" -- stood out in zebra print.

Naomie Harris rocked a sexy black number with a sheer bottom half as she repped for the Moonlight cast.  Her upcoming movie Collateral Beauty is out in theaters Friday.

Come thru fellas!  Cuba Gooding Jr.'s "The People vs. OJ" racked up tons of nominations, and Donald Glover walked away with the Best Actor in a Comedy series for "Atlanta."  Nice!

Lee sat down to talk with YBF's correspondent James Terrell recently in Atlanta, and he revealed a few things.  One, how he landed trans social media star Amiyah Scott on his new show "Star."

The "Empire" creator reveals, "My sister introduced me to her on Instagram and I started following her.  And she didn't follow me back. So I said, 'You're not following the original big daddy back?!'"

When he found out she was playing hard to get, he said, "That's so Amiyah."

Last year’s Oscars may have been very white, but this year’s Golden Globe Awards are sprinkled with YBF goodness.

The 2017 Awards season is here and YBF celebs are scooping up nominations everywhere. The 74th annual Golden Globe Awards nominations were announced this morning at the Beverly Hilton with Don Cheadle on hand to help reveal the nominees.

In the film categories...

Moonlight picked up six Golden Globe nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Drama.

Naomie Harris is in the running for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture, Mahershala Ali will duke it out in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture and director Barry Jenkins is up for Best Director – Motion Picture and Best Original Screenplay.
 

Denzel Washington, who produced, directed and starred in FENCES, nabbed a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama. Meanwhile, his FENCES co-star Viola Davis is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture. She’s in the running against Hidden Figures star Octavia Spencer and Moonlight Naomie Harris.

Ruth Negga, who covers the newest issue of VOGUE, is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role in LOVING.

La La Land landed seven nominations this year, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. R&B crooner John Legend produced and starred in the musical drama.

Singing legend Stevie Wonder nabbed a nomination in Best Original Song – Motion Picture for the track “Faith” in the animated film SING.

In the television categories...

“black•ish” nabbed a slot in the Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy going up against Donald Glover’s “Atlanta.” The comedy’s lead star Anthony Anderson will duke it out in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy category against Donald Glover for his role in “Atlanta.”

Meanwhile, Tracee Ellis Ross has been nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy.

“Insecure” star Issa Rae will go up against Tracee in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy. Congrats to Issa for her first Golden Globe nomination.

Kerry Washington is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her role in “Confirmation.”

“The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story” and “American Crime” (starring Regina King and Trevor Jackson) are up for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Courtney B. Vance is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for his role in “The People vs. OJ Simpson.”

Meanwhile, his co-star Sterling K. Brown is up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. Speaking of Sterling, his hit NBC show “This Is Us” is up for Best TV Series—Drama.

Thandie Newton will battle it out in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her role in “Westworld.”

While several YBFers are up for awards, we noticed  Golden Globe winner Taraji P. Henson didn't make the cut this year. She could have been nominated for her "Empire" role and Hidden Figures role. However, she did win the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama for her role in "Empire" last year.

Joseline Hernandez celebrated her baby girl’s upcoming arrival with family (her mom pictured above) and friends at the Museum Bar in Atlanta (sponsored by VH1) over the weekend. And it wasn't your typical baby shower.

Joseline’s shower featured rap performances by Young Dro and "Love & Hip Hop: New York" star MariahLynn, a crazy “birth” cake (seen above), a camera crew (to film for her upcoming delivery special), and…wait for it… STRIPPERS. Hey, we’re talking about Joseline here. They came out to give the mom-to-be a lap dance during the festivities.

Pastor Shirley Caesar is speaking out about rumors of a lawsuit that she filed over the #UNameItChallenge. Find out what she had to say about it all, plus find out why Doug E. Fresh is seeking MILLIONS from “Empire” when you go inside…

Pastor Shirley Caesar is speaking out to clarify recent reports that she launched a lawsuit against DJ Suede over his remix to her “Hold My Mule” sermon.

As you all know, the #UNameItChallenge became a viral sensation over the Thanksgiving holiday. We all were singing it and laughing at all the different videos made using the remix.

Well, DJ Suede decided to create an official song and video and put it up on iTunes for sale without her approval. Pastor Caesar didn’t have a problem with the viral videos on social media, but she wasn’t pleased with DJ Suede trying to make a profit, nor the visuals that were included (twerking, alcohol) with her voice on it. 

Last week, it was reported that Pastor Caesar fired off a $5 million lawsuit against DJ Suede (real name Keenan Webb) and Empire Records for using her likeness to make a profit. But apparently, that’s not true.

Shirley Caesar took to her Facebook page to clarify the alleged lawsuit, writing, “Hello Family, I just got a call from someone asking me about a lawsuit; please be clear, there has been no lawsuit filed. I asked my attorney to issue a statement and this is all we will say on it at this time.”

Her team also issued a statement to clarify the situation, stating they filed an injunction as well as cease and desist sales to force them to take down the videos. Her team makes it clear that she has not filed a lawsuit, although legally she could. They write:

Unfortunately, similar to you, we as a team, were laughing and enjoying the video challenge, until we recently discovered that DJ Suede, Empire Records and another party, took the original popular song and phrase and illegally released a different record on I-Tunes without our written permission. They even did a video highlighting alcohol and negative imagery- and sold many downloads. We asked them repeatedly to remove these negative materials as we never saw the video or heard the song prior to them selling it –and, it was not a parody, but the song was created commercially for sale and profits. When they refused to remove the commercial song from the Internet and the video, to protect Pastor's legacy and what Shirley Caesar stands for, we had to take legal action, secure a temporary injunction and order DJ Suede to remove the video, as well as cease and desist sales. We want to make it clear Pastor Caesar does not endorse the imagery, misogyny and abuse of alcohol endorsed in the video by having her voice everywhere on the track. Please also note, we have not filed any lawsuits or sued anyone even though it is my right. But, it is our hope and prayer that DJ Suede and Empire will do the right thing, and respect Pastor Caesar’s legacy, image and name and follow the Court injunction ordering them to remove this video and the I-Tunes song, a clear violation of copyright and trademark laws.

While DJ Suede and others didn’t have permission to use the clip for profits, Shirley did give rapper Snoop Dogg permission to use the audio for holiday anthem. He reached out to Pastor Caesar for her blessing before using it.

In other legal news…

Last week, we received a press release claiming that Doug E. Fresh, CEO of Wonderboy Entertainment Rasheed Rahan Wonder and songwriter Unique Mecca Hall were SUING “Empire” for millions! Why? Well, it was said the show sampled some music without permission.

The alleged lawsuit insisted that the hit FOX series sampled the rap legend’s track “I-Ight” (Alright). According to the press release, the track was illegally sampled and was used in the song “No Doubt About It,” which was performed on Episode 3 by Pitbull and Jussie Smollett, as well as featured on Empire: Original Soundtrack from Season 2 Volume 1.

The press release also said Rasheed Rahan Wonder is representing songwriter Unique Mecca Hall (who is credited with creating the popular party chant, “Ayo, Aight”) in the lawsuit as he is currently serving life plus 20 years in prison.

Well, Doug E. Fresh says it’s NOT true. He took to his Twitter page to clarify the rumors tweeting:

In today’s sports round up, LeBron James is honored as Sports Illustrated‘s Sportsperson of the Year, Jay Z showed support for his Roc Nation signee Dez Bryant and John Legend will headline the 2017 All-Star halftime show. More inside…

First he helped the Cleveland Cavaliers nab their first NBA championship, then he was named as the NBA Finals MVP. Now, LeBron James is being honored as Sports Illustrated’s 2016 Sportsperson of the Year.

Along with his NBA takeover, LeBron also started using his platform to speak up on social issues, including racial inequality during the aftermath of several police shootings taking the lives of black men. As he continues to use his star power to speak out, the NBA player decided to rock a safety pin on his white blazer on the magazine’s cover.

After Donald Trump was elected president, people all over the nation started wearing safety pins to convey a message of support — of safety, and protection — to minorities, women, immigrants and others who feel threatened by the president-elect’s dangerous rhetoric. Nice to see LeBron join the movement in a major way. 

This is LeBon’s 26th time to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated making him the third-most featured athlete, following behind Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali.

Yesterday, Jay Z braved the snow to check out Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant hit the field for a game against NFC rival New York Giants.

Before the game, Hov dapped up Dez for a little good luck. Dez is signed to Jay’s Roc Nation Sports management company, so the Hip Hop mogul came out to see Dez in action. Peep their quick meet up above.

Dez wasn’t the only baller he had his eye on during the game. Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is also signed to Roc Nation Sports, so Hov was on double duty.

Juelz Santana is wanted for thousands in back child support. And there’s a warrant out for his arrest. Get the deets, plus peep pics of Apollo Nida and his fiancée Sherien Almufti snapping it up in their first prison pics inside…

Juelz Santana just made his debut on “Love & Hip Hop: New York” with his longtime girlfriend Kimbella this season and now he’s in the headlines...for child support. 

According to reports, there is an active warrant out for the NYC rapper’s arrest over back child support. And he owes THOUSANDS.

Back in 2013, he was reportedly ordered to pay $1,800/month for his now 13-year-old son LaRon Jr., but apparently, he hasn’t been making his payments. He now owes $28,491.32 (with his next payment due on the 16th) and police in New Jersey are looking for him to throw him in lock up…allegedly.

Juelz hopped on Twitter to respond, saying he's a good dad and that there's two sides to every story:

New flicks of Apollo Nida and his fiancée Sherien Almufti have surfaced. And they’re all smiles after Apollo asked for her hand in marriage.

Apparently, the flicks were snapped back in November, right around the time news broke that he had popped the question. So, it’s possible they were celebrating their engagement.

We doubt we’ll see the couple all hugged up on the new season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” (since cameras aren't allowed in a federal prison), but she’s rumored to be appearing on the show in the new season. We’ll likely hear their prison calls though.

Dressed in sweats and sneakers, Mr. West made his way in and out of Trump Tower just moments ago.  Doing what  Who knows.  But we do know he's been in the city for the last couple of days reportedly "shopping for a psychiatrist" and a New York team of doctors to help him continue his mental health recovery.

A member of the President-Elect's press pool, Sam Sanders of NPR, put out an alert that Kanye West had entered Trump tower at 9:13AM this morning.  His wife Kim was not with him, but his mother-in-law's boyfriend Corey Gamble was.

Trump posed with him afterwards (video below) saying they are "just friends" and "discussed life."

Could Yeezy be in discussions with Trump about performing at his Inauguration?  Quite possible.  We all know he's still a bit bitter he wasn't buddy buddy with Obama and constantly invited to the White House the way his frenemy Jay Z was.

Could Trump have offered him the job of Surgeon General?  The way these new presidential appointments have been going, we woudn't even be surprised.

Both Lamar Odom and Kanye West are getting the help they need. Details about Lamar checking himself into rehab and Kanye interviewing east coast doctors inside…

We’re happy to hear this. Lamar Odom is reaching out for help.

The former NBA baller has reportedly checked himself into rehab in San Diego. His decision to enter rehab comes more than a year after he almost died from an overdose inside a Nevada brothel. You’ll recall, he was in an induced coma for more than two weeks after he was found unconscious in the brothel.

"It was his own decision,” a source tells E! News. “He wanted to work on his mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life. He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety."

Well good for him.

Another source tells US Weekly that Lamar did NOT relapse. He decided to go into rehab to “start fresh for the New Year.” The source also said he “did it for his kids.”

We love his proactive approach.

PEOPLE is now reporting that Lamar’s divorce from Khloe Kardashian is said to be finalized Saturday. Sources say the divorce and the holiday season motivated him to enter rehab so that he wouldn’t relapse. He will reportedly remain in rehab for 30 days.

It was nice seeing him celebrate the holidays with his children, Destiny & Lamar Jr., and ex-girlfriend Liza Morales at Disneyland a few weeks ago. Seems like he’s really trying to get it together.
 

Lamar isn't the only one seeking help...

Kanye West has trekked from the west coast to the east coast since his 8-day hospitalization. And he’s looking for a team of doctors to keep him on track.

According to TMZ, Yeezy (above, seen for the first time since being released from the hospital) and a team of doctors are in the Big Apple interviewing psychiatrists who will become his support system when he’s on the east coast. Since his hospitalization, Yeezy has had a team of doctors around him providing extensive care 24/7.

It’s being reported Kanye traveled to NYC on a private jet with members of his medical team. The team of doctors has been monitoring the PABLO rapper to make sure he’s taking his meds to keep him on track. Since stress is a trigger for Ye, the Chi-town rapper has been keeping busy with less stressful things like remodeling his Hidden Hills estate. He has also been in the studio creating new music.

Today, Ye stopped by Trump Tower for a sitdown with president-elect Donald Trump. And posed it up for all the paparazzi.  So much for the stress triggers....

When it rains, it pours.

Since filing for divorce, Mary J. Blige and her estranged husband Martin “Kendu” Isaacs have remained in the headlines and it’s getting nasty.

The R&B legend now claims Kendu is holding one of her Grammys and TWO cars hostage. She wants her ish back, but Kendu is refusing to give it back. According to reports, the “Thick Of It” singer, who's still traveling on tour, filed legal documents requesting her former manager return her GRAMMY, other “achievement awards” and two luxury rides that are leased under her company’s name.

In the documents, it says Kendu has possession of three cars, a Range Rover, a Mercedes-Benz C-Class and a Mercedes-Benz SL550. He was reportedly suppose to return the Range Rover in February, but has yet to give up the goods. Mary wants the Range and the C300, but says he can keep the SL550.

Not only that, Kendu, who’s demanding six figures in spousal support, is being accused of swindling her out of $420,000 in business deals that had nothing to do with her business. Hmph.

This guy is something else.

Mary and Maxwell are headed to the United Center in Chicago for their "King and Queen of Hearts" tour tomorrow (December 14th).

In another "breakup"....

It appears Katt Williams is dealing with an annulment situation..without ever being married to the woman.

Eboni Gray claims she is the comedian’s ex and she wants a judge to “annul” their legal union. Not only that, she’s gunning for spousal support as well. HOW SWAY?

According to TMZ, Eboni filed to annul her domestic partnership with Katt, claiming they were together from 2010 to 2011. It’s also being reported she wants spousal support for dealing with Katt who was of “unsound mind” during their relationship. Really girl?

A source tells the site Eboni worked on one of Katt’s comedy tours for about a week a while back. Meanwhile, folks in Katt’s camp claims the woman is crazy and that they were never in a relationship.

Sounds like someone MIGHT be looking for a come up.
 

Meanwhile, Katt is currently on a new tour called the Conspiracy Theory tour. He's headed to his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio on December 30th.

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert is about that foolywang material today. He's already back on the streets riding his dirt bike after getting arrested days ago during a cop chase. Deets inside...

Sigh.  22-year-old Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert (Never heard of him?  Ask your college-student little cousin, they know) has been all over the place from social to the mixtape scene.  Now, the foolish "Money Longer" rapper is making waves for getting arrested a few days ago after a police chase.  He was on a dirt bike and ended up getting caught after losing his balance and wiping out.

He was out racing with a friend last week, and cops started chasing them down after they wildly drove up on sidewalks and crossed multiple lanes of traffic with no lights or helmets.  TMZ reports:

According to the police report ... Lil Uzi and a friend were riding dirt bikes last Thursday night, without lights or helmets. Cops say the duo raced the wrong way down a one-way, drove on a sidewalk and crossed 5 lanes of traffic without signaling.

Cops say the rapper was trying to speed away from officers, but lost his balance and had to ditch the bike. He and his friend tried to flee on foot, but were quickly nabbed.

Uzi was booked for obstruction, reckless driving, not having a driver's license and a slew of other traffic violations. He got out Friday after posting $6,500 bond.

Y’all know 50 Cent starts acting petty when he doesn’t get his way. Now, he’s threatening to leave “Power” after the Golden Globe Awards snubbed the show and jokes that Floyd Mayweather will join the series. More inside…

50 Cent is BLASTING the Golden Globes after his STARZ series failed to land any nominations. The “Power” star and producer is HEATED over the show being snubbed. And now, he’s threatening to quit the show.

Hours after the nominations were revealed, Fif posted a picture of himself on a private jet looking down at his phone while slamming the Golden Globes in the caption. He wrote,“I'm on the move again, Golden globe's can suck a d*ck.”

He continued, “I accept my series POWER was not intended to be a signature show for the network but it is the highest rated show. I know my audience very well, I'm done promoting this out side of contractual obligations. SEASON 4 KANAN MUST DIE, I got other shit to do. #EFFENVODKA”

Shortly after, he posted a photoshopped picture of his frenemy Floyd Mayweather “announcing” that he will be taking his spot on the hit STARZ series in Season 4. He wrote, “I'm off the POWER train, champ is gonna do the show. Go to him for more info, I gotta do something different. #EFFENVODKA”

The undefeated champ hopped in 50’s comments to respond to joining the show writing,“50, I’ll be waiting for her call. Money, POWER, Respect!” The “Power” executive producer responded,“Money, POWER, Respect, they do what they can. We do what we want.” Will Floyd be making an appearance on "Power?" With Fif behind the project, you just never know, but the Instagram conversation seemed to be more of a joke. OR, he could be dropping a hint that Floyd with actually join the series. 

It’s worth noting, “POWER” raked in a record breaking 2.26 million viewers for the season 3 debut, making it the most-watched episode STARZ original series. The show is currently filming season 4 and it has already been renewed for season 5.

The SHADE of it all.  Former U.S. Representative Jesse Jackson, Jr. just filed papers to divorce his wife, who was just incarcerated for the money drama they both got themselves into.  Details inside...

Wow.  Jesse Jackson, Jr., former US Congressman and son of activist Rev. Jesse Jackson, filed for divorce from his wife Sandi, a lawyer and former Chicago Alderman, after 25 years of marriage on Monday.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Jesse requested in the documents that the couple's two children, ages 16 and 12, "reside with him, subject to Sandi's exercise of reasonable parenting time."

The one time Democratic power couple pretty much started a downward spiral when, after a federal investigation, they were both found guilty of illegally using campaign money for their own personal use.

Jesse was charged with funneling $750,000 from his campaign funds to his personal accounts, and he reportedly spent the money on vacations, furs, celebrity memorabilia and two mounted elk heads, among other things.

February 20, 2013, Sandi plead guilty to one count of filing false tax returns after neglecting to declare nearly $580,000 in income. On August 14, 2013, she was sentenced to 12 months in federal prison, while her husband was sentenced to 30 months in jail and served 22 of them before being granted an early release.  The couple was allowed to choose who would serve their time first so one parent can stay with the kids at all times.  Quite similar to the "RHONJ" Giudice situation.

Sandi, 53, was released from federal prison camp at "Camp Cupcake" in West Virginia (where Martha Stewart served 5 months) on her birthday this past September.  Her scheduled release date was October 20th, but she served out the last month doing home detention.  It's unclear, though, where exactly. 

If she's been at the family house, we're sure things are awkward AF since Jesse filed those papers yesterday....

After taking over the top number of GRAMMY nominations, Beyonce leads the pack for the 48th Annual NAACP Image Awards, nabbing seven nominations. She’s in the running for Entertainer of the Year, Outstanding Female Artist, Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration, Outstanding Music Video, two nominations in the Outstanding Song-Contemporary category and Outstanding Album for her LEMONADE LP.

This year there’s a friendly sisterly rivalry.

Bey’s younger sister Solange received five nominations, including Outstanding Female Artist, Outstanding Music Video, and Best Album for her No. 1 album A Seat At The Table.

Birth of a Nation star/producer/director Nate Parker swept up three nominations in the film categories, including Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture, Outstanding Writing in a Motion Picture (Film), and Outstanding Directing in a Motion Picture – (Film). The slave revolt film also nabbed a few nominations, including Best Picture nomination, along with Fences, Hidden Figures, Loving and Moonlight.

“Atlanta” star Donald Glover (who recently won a Critic's Choice Award) scored three nominations in the television categories, including Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series.

Viola Davis, Regina King, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Chance the Rapper are all in the running against Beyonce for Entertainer of the Year.

HBO’s “Insecure” was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series and Issa Rae (who was recently nominated for her first Golden Globe) is in the running for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series against Niecy Nash, Tracee Ellis Ross, Uzo Aduba and Keesha Sharp. Meanwhile, Issa’s co-star Yvonne Orji is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Meanwhile, your fave television obsessions, “Empire,” “Power,” “Queen Sugar,” “This Is Us,” and “Underground" are nominated in the Outstanding Drama Series category.

Zendaya stuns on ALLURE magazine’s January 2017 issue. Inside, she opens up about how she struggles with the good and the bad that comes with being famous and she also shares five ways she would change the world. Get it all inside…

One this is for sure, Zendaya knows how to slay a magazine cover like no other.

The 20-year-old YBF actress kicks off the new year of magazine covers slaying on ALLURE magazine’s January 2017 issue. The poised star oozes femininity, class and sexiness all in one shot.

The COVERGIRL ambassador just moved into her brand new home…by herself...after moving out of her parents’ home. And she doesn’t even have furniture yet, but that’s all coming as she enters the next phase of her life.

“I’ve never lived in a house this beautiful. I appreciate everything so much more because everything I have has been worked for,” she tells the magazine.

While she’s worked hard for everything she has and remained humble during the process, sometimes fame can take a toll on her.

When asked if she ever wanted to be famous, she replies, “Eh, I don’t know. Sometimes I do; sometimes I don’t. You just see so many people who are miserable here. It’s like, Why?” She continues,“It’s OK to be focused, but I can’t get to a point where I don’t like what I’m doing. It’s gotta be fun and creative and good.”

Being famous DOES has its perks…

“I love to slay a red carpet. When I step on one, I’m a different person,” she says,“like Sasha Fierce and Beyoncé."

And don’t get it twisted, Daya isn’t hitting red carpets to be pretty, she’d rather make a statement that sends a message to young girls everywhere to always be and love yourself:

“When young women see me go out, with an entire world to criticize what I put on, and do whatever the hell I want? It’s empowering [for them],” she says.“It’s not just about clothes. It’s never been just about clothes.” She stops talking for a second to push the hair out of her face. “We [she and her stylist Law Roach] do what we want,” she says slowly, emphatically pausing between every word.

But, she still sometimes feels guilt about her fame with mixed emotions about her success:

“I ask myself, Would I get the same opportunities—would I have this role or that role—if I were a darker- skinned black women? And the answer is no,” says the fashion designer.“But the real thing is how do you take what you’ve been given and use it to better the situations of people that are your peers, your brothers and sisters?”

And that’s why we love her. ALWAYS thinking about the bigger picture and how she can make a positive impact on it.

Jay Z was tapped to award LeBron James the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year and he had the perfect clap back to Phil Jackson’s “posse” comment he made a few weeks ago. Find out what Hov said and peep pics from the carpet and inside the ceremony….

LeBron James was the man of the hour at last night’s Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Ceremony held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Jay Z was tapped to introduce the NBA Finals MVP before awarding him the prestigious award and his introduction speech has folks on notice.

The Hip Hop mogul clapped back at NBA Hall of Fame coach Phil Jackson. Last month, Phil Jackson referred to LeBron’s business partners as a“posse” during an interview and LeBron took offense to it. The NBA baller said he lost ALL respect for the 11-time coaching champion.

Here’s what Hov had to say about the “posse” comment:

"We know where we come from. We do understand where we come from. The only difference between us and someone who has their MBA from Wharton or Sloan or Berkeley or Stanford is opportunity. LeBron James has provided his friends with that opportunity, and we've witnessed their development. And if we're to look up at the scoreboard, very few businessmen are better than Maverick Carter, Rich Paul, Randy Mims and all the rest of the posse behind the scenes that make it look like they're just hanging out."

King James took center stage to accept his 2nd Sportsperson of the Year award. The NBA record breaker talked about the legends who came before him that paved the way, including the late Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown (who was in the building) and Bill Russell (who was also there).

“It’s never about the individual,” LeBron said.“It’s always about the people behind him. It’s always about the people that’s behind the camera. It’s always about the people that don’t get the credit. It’s always about the people that sacrifice what they could be doing with their lives for the better of the individual.”

Thanks for what you've become, what you do and for simply being YOU!! And did I mention how beautiful you are?!?!?”

After hitting up Harvard University, DJ Khaled hit the carpet to show King James some love and to present the young ladies the SportsKids of the Year Award.

Special Award recipient and Olympic swimmer medalist Michael Phelps hit the carpet with his fiancée Nicole Johnson and former NFL player Ray Lewis.

By the way, after Kanye West met with president-elect Donald Trump, Ray Lewis and NFL legend Jim Brown also sat down with Trump. Interesting.

Nicole Murphy bared her rock hard midriff on her way to party it up at the Delilah club in West Hollywood.
 

The 48-year-old stunna made headlines recently after the con man who swindled her out of $10 million made an appearance in court. According to Page Six, 50-year-old Troy Stratos is scheduled for sentencing on Monday for fraud. Along with jacking $10 million from Nicole, he also stole $11.25 million from an investor group.

Troy grew up who grew up with Nicole in Sacramento, so she trusted him with her money. The trial for Nicole’s case was set to kick off in August, but Troy copped a plea days before a jury was picked. Nicole’s ex-boyfriend Michael Strahan was set to testify. Prosecutors are asking the judge to order Troy to pay his victims $23.2 million in restitution.

After he copped HER a ton of luxe designer gifts last week, Blac Chyna returned the favor and copped her fiancé Rob Kardashian a brand new Range Rover. ''Tis the season....

The unfortunate death of 69-year-old veteran actor Alan Thicke took everyone by surprise late last night.  Now, R&B singer Robin Thicke is giving a heartfelt tribute to his late father...

News broke yesterday about the sudden and unfortunate death of legendary actor and songwriter Alan Thicke. He reportedly suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son Carter at Pickwick Gardens ice skating rink in Burbank, something they did together often as Alan was a huge ice hockey fan.

It's no secret where Grammy-nominated artist Robin Thicke got his talents.  His father composed the theme music for "Different Strokes" and creating plenty of timeless music, and was one of America's favorite tv dads on "Growing Pains" and even stars in the new second season of "Fuller House" on Netflix.
