Gayle King is making bank!

The daytime anchor just scored a $16.5 million deal to remain co-host of “CBS This Morning” for the next three years. Woot!

She’ll be raking in a cool $5.5 million a year to appear on the morning news show alongside co-anchors Charlie Rose and Norah O’Donnell, according to Page Six.

While “CBS This Morning” trails behind NBC’s “TODAY” show and ABC’s “Good Morning America,” the ratings for the show have been climbing year-to-year, especially since Gayle signed on in 2012. And with the reporter turned magazine editor turn news anchor serving up her fabulousness we predict the ratings to continue.

We love to see hard work pay off!

Apparently, Oprah was NOT feeling her girl's necklace she wore on the show the other day, so she had to tell her. Matt Barnes is being sued for that club brawl a few days ago. But, he wants everyone to know HE’s the victim. More on the new lawsuit and pics of his injuries inside.

Sacramento Kings baller Matt Barnes and his teammate DeMarcus Cousins are being sued for that brawl we told you they were involved in earlier this week. Plaintiffs Jasmine Besiso and Myrone Powell are SUING after they claim Matt and DeMarcus assaulted them in a NYC nightclub early Monday morning.

According to ESPN, the plaintiffs filed the suit in a New York District Court on Wednesday for an unspecified amount in damages. Oh, and they’re requesting for a jury trial vs. just having a judge make the final call.

Their lawsuit alleges that Matt grabbed Jasmine around her neck and started choking her after a commotion at Avenue nightclub in Manhattan. Jasmine tells ABC News today that a fight broke out amongst athletes at a table NEXT to her.  Suddenly, she claims, Matt Barnes began attacking her.  The suit claims DeMarcus punched Myrone, Jasmine's boyfriend, in the face after he moved in to help her. From there, Jasmine and Myrone claim DeMarcus and Matt started beating Myrone down, punching him “in the head, torso and lower body.” They also claim Matt elbowed Jasmine in the face, which resulted in her being knocked unconscious.

Matt has been vocal about his side of what went down since the incident claiming self defense. He says he accidentally “butt bumped” her while trying to sit down in his VIP booth, and that’s when a group of men approached him and started to get violent.  He says he and DeMarcus were simply defending themselves.

“We do not believe a crime was committed and are hopeful no charge will be pressed,” said Matt and DeMarcus’ attorney Alex Spiro. Meanwhile, the Kings organization told ESPN that they are “working with all parties involved to gather information in order to take any appropriate next steps.”

Film director and Knicks lover Spike Lee got upset with his team and had to leave the game early last night.

The NY Knicks lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 124-96 at Madison Square Garden. Spike didn’t even make it to the end of the game. He bounced with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter when the Knicks were trailing 97-68.  And he did an extra dramatic storm off. Peep the clip above.

It was all love between Lebron James and Carmelo Anthony after the game.

During the game, Spike caught up with Derrick Rose's son PJ in the stands.

Party time!

Last night, amfAr hosted their generationCURE Holiday Party at the Cadillac House to kick off the holiday season. 

Several of our YBF faves were in the building to party it up for a good cause, including “Luke Cage” star Simone Missick, “Insecure” stars Yvonne Orji and Jay Ellis, “Power” star Naturi Naughton and “Empire” star Serayah. Yeah, pretty much all the folks from our favorite TV obsessions these days.

The young, black Hollywood gang didn’t waste any time dancing it up:
 

Yep, reality star EJ Johnson, son of Magic Johnson, was also in the mix busting dance moves on the dance floor. Go OFF then EJ!

We're so obsessed with "Luke Cage" AND "Insecure!" Both series have been renewed for season 2 and we can not WAIT until they premiere.

Naturi is currently in NYC shooting scenes for season 4 of the highly popular STARZ series. Will Ghost get released from jail? We're dying to know. 

We're also anxious to see what will happen with Jay's character Lawrence and his relationship with Issa, played by Issa Rae. 

One more episode before "Empire" season 3 wraps up. Serayah got herself into a whirl of trouble on this week's episode and new chick is looking to take her spot. Guess we'll have to wait and see if she will fire back. 

Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons was also at the party snapping it up with amfAR board chairman Kenneth Cole.

At an event on the west coast...

The flawless Kelly Rowland stepped out for the L.A. premiere of upcoming film “Office Christmas Party” (Dec. 9th) held at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Cali last night. And she put everyone on notice when she hit the red carpet. 

The hot mom served up boho chic vibes in a flowy floral Chloé number paired with Tom Ford boots. It's a hard look to pull off, but Kellz does so effortlessly.

Kanye West has emerged from the shadows for the first time since his reported nervous breakdown.  He was back on the art scene today in L.A. with a revamped look.  See it inside...

Meet blonde Yeezy.  The rapper has been in seclusion for less than two weeks while recovering from a reported mental breakdown.  He made his first public appearance since his hospitalization and popped up at the MOCA Pacific Design Center. 

While taking in the "Rick Owens: Furniture" exhibition on Thursday, he was snapped sitting in some sort of wooden concoction all while rocking a low cut and a blonde dye job.

Reports everywhere said Kanye would be taking a break from the public eye and "resting."  But it looks like he was anxious to see and be seen again.

During Kanye's seemingly quick recovery, he still managed to get a few things done.  Word has it he's been inspired by this recent life changing ordeal, much like his near fatal car accident in 2002.  And like then, when he ended up recording his hit "Through The Wire" during his mouth-wiring recovery, he's been using his downtime to create more music.

TMZ reports 'Ye "built a temporary studio in [Kim & Kanye's] Bel-Air mansion so he can have the privacy he needs to get healthy, while also making new music as ideas come to him." 

Reportedly, he's in such a creative space that he may have an album's worth of material.  Apparently, there's always time for an image reinvention.

The Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer just dropped, and Zendaya, Donald Glover and Bokeem Woodbine made cameos.  See it inside...

The heavily anticipated Spider-Man reboot is just around the corner, and the first official trailer is giving us a peek into the YBF stars that will be popping up in the Marvel film.

It looks like Zendaya, who will play 'Michelle', and Donald Glover may be helping a young Peter Parker/Spider-Man begin to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero.  If they're not low-key villains.

Newcomer YBF chick Laura Harrier stars in the trailer as well as Peter Parker's crush.

Bokeem Woodbine is seen slinging his weapon as villain 'Herman Shultz aka The Shocker'.  We've also learned Garcelle Beauvais, Hannibel Buress, and YBF Kid and Beasts of No Nation star Abraham Attah are co-starring in the movie as well.

It was a YBF takeover at the 2016 GQ Men of the Year celebration in L.A. last night. Peep hot shots of Kelly Rowland, Kevin Hart, Keke Palmer, Karrueche and tons more inside…

GQ rounded up the Hollywood celebs for their annual Men of the Year party. Black Hollywood was there in full force with sexy silhouettes, high slits and see-through lace. The fellas were looking quite dapper as well.

For the last week or so, Kelly Rowland has been lighting up the red carpet and the sidewalk catwalk. And last night was no different. The R&B singer rolled up to Chateau Marmont in a red hot plunging Helo Rocha lace gown see-through gown.

Kellz has a few new projects coming down the pipeline. The fab mom has a new book on maternity secrets titled "Whoa Baby" and she will be starring in a brand new LIFETIME movie titled Love By The 10th Date, starring opposite Meagan Good, Keri Hilson and Kellee Stewart.

Funnyman Kevin Hart, who tops Forbes list highest paid comedian list, and his wife Eniko Hart got all dressed up for the festivities. The actor/comedian has been hard at work shooting scenes for Jumanji. And guess what? Ride Along 3 is reportedly in development and Ice Cube will return to for the new flick. 

Keke Palmer was busy voicing over scenes for her upcoming independent film PIMP yesterday. Right after, the "Scream Queens" star hit the party scene in a pink embellished frilly crop top paired with a matching high-waisted pencil skirt.

Karrueche is another chick who has been hot on the scene. Outside of shooting scenes for her web series The Bay,” chick has been hitting up red carpet events left and right. The budding actress pulled up on the carpet last night serving up goddess vibes in a flowy corset dress. Show off then Kae!

Kae’s bestie Christina Milan, who currently stars on “Rocky Picture Horror Show,” wasn’t far behind. She put on a busty display in a black and white plunging neckline plaid dress.

After singing the national anthem at the Clippers game, R&B singer Sevyn Streeter sexed up the carpet in a black high slit see-through gown.

Beauty and the Beast star Gugu Mbatha-Raw stepped out to the event looking like she was ready for the new members program on First Sunday. Maybe it's the color scheme...or fit.  Not our fave look from the gorgeous starlet, but she’s still a fave in our book. Gugu is currently filming for Ava DuVernay’s A Wrinkle In Time and we'll see her on the big screen when Beauty and the Beast drops March 17, 2017. 

The rappers were in the building: 

French Montana, Wiz Khalifa and Donald Glover (aka Chilidsh Gambino) got dapper for the soiree. Speaking of Donald, his new show “Atlanta” has been renewed for season 2 and he’s also starring in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming film with Zendaya. Check out the new Spidey trailer HERE.  

“How To Get Away With Murder” stars Aja Naomi King (styling in a honeycomb patterned Roland Mouret dress), Alfred Enoch and Billy Brown were on the scene to party it up.

Of course, the Kardashians are blaming their lawyers for challenging Blac Chyna’s new 'Angela Renee Kardashian' trademark. Either way, Chyna is very likely about to have their last name, whether they like it or not. Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian TRIED it when they pulled some legal strings to block Blac Chyna from trademarking her new name, Angela Renee Kardashian. Now, after getting dragged all over the internets for saying Chyna would "cause harm to their reputation," they’re pointing the finger at everyone else.

The Kardashian Klan claims they had nothing at all to do with their lawyers opposing Chyna’s request to trademark her marital name and that their legal team “automatically” challenged the trademark. Hmph.

Sources close to Chyna tell TMZ that Kim, Kourtney and Khloe reached out to Chyna to inform her that their lawyers were following procedure and that they weren’t trying to “mean girls.” You’ll recall, the girls were fearful that if Chyna got the trademark that they would "suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill." Chile…

Momager Kris Jenner also talked to Chyna to reassure her that there were no hard feelings between them and that she would handle the lawyers. She said it was a simple mistake.  So no one on their legal team saw and recognized it was Blac Chyna who filed the trademark?  If y'all say so....

Meanwhile, Chyna’s lawyer is speaking out about the ordeal and he says he was shocked to learn that the Kardashians were trying to block it. Chyna’s attorney Walter Mosley told PEOPLE:

“The Kardashians, like Angela and my other clients are very protective of our marks, I think for us this is going to be a clear case win, because it’s actually her name, it’s not a poaching. I would hope that this is just a junior lawyer’s error, who’s just responding to everything and not really looking at who it’s from or why it was filed. There’s a softer side of this where Angela has to have a conversation with her family. But until I hear otherwise, I’m just going to proceed as I normally would with a lawsuit. I have 40 days to respond.”

“I have to respond to the notice of opposition, so the way this works is we filed the mark, it was initially unopposed, it was published and then the representatives of the sisters’ companies filed an opposition to Angela owning her name. Sure, it’s not her legal name now, but it is certainly her stage name — her next stage name and her legal name once the wedding is done. In the complaint they are not short or shy as to how they feel about Angela using the trademark. I’m hoping that it’s just a big misunderstanding but I’m just proceeding as if it’s not and am going to do the best work I can for my client.”

Chyna's mom Tokyo Toni had plenty to say as well, and she didn't hold her tongue. She blasted the Kardashian Klan in an Instagram post:

The name has yet to be approved, but we shall see how this all pans out.  We wouldn't be surprsied if they knew about the "automatic challenges to anything Kardashian" and purposely let it fly.  It's a way to get what they really want while keeping their hands clean.

Cyn was sipping on some “juice” and decided to post an impromptu rap performance of Joey’s Dipset homie Cam’ron’s track “Suck It Or Not” in front of their Christmas tree. Chick had a red cup in her hand and a broom when she started spitting the lyrics to the track. She appeared to be feeling whatever she was drinking, so Joey tried to take her drink, but she wasn’t having it. #DontYouDropThatAlcohol

After nabbing 8 GRAMMY nominations, Drake treated himself to a retail run in Beverly Hills. Drizzy possibly picked up a few items for himself, or he could have been picking up a few Christmas and/or Hanukkah gifts for family and friends at Barney’s New York.

Variety reports:

The conflict dates to 2013, when Azoff formed GMR to compete with the established licensing companies, ASCAP and BMI, which together control approximately 95% of music copyrights. ASCAP and BMI have longstanding agreements with radio stations, which are represented by the trade group RMLC, that set rates for airplay.

RMLC filed suit on Nov. 18, accusing GMR of exercising monopoly power over its copyrights, and seeking to force it into rate arbitration akin to the arrangements with ASCAP and BMI. RMLC contends that GMR is seeking extortionate rates for its songs.

On Wednesday, GMR fired back, filing its own suit accusing RMLC of running an illegal cartel comprising 90% of the nation’s radio stations — which prevents it from negotiating licensing agreements with individual stations.

The two companies will battle it out in court to figure out who has the right to play what and the cost of playing those tracks on radio stations.

With tears in his eyes, he revealed to host Ellen Degeneres:

"I got the screenplay right when my father was diagnosed.  So I'm doing all this research about a guy who experiences death, at the time when my father was given 6 weeks.  But it turned out to be such an amazing thing to go through.  My father and I were sharing it during that time.  So the performance for me, the movie for me and the ideas are so deeply personal."

His father fought the odds and stayed alive far longer than expected:

"My father actually lived for four months.  So what happened is, every day became so beautiful beyond the six weeks."

Will laughed and joked saying, "We were sitting one day, when it was around 3 months.  And he said 'Man, this crap is embarrassing.  You tell everybody you're gonna die in six weeks and three months later..."

He continued:

"He passed about a month ago, but it was so beautiful to have the opportunity and to share this and not hide from it. This film for me is the most personal and beautiful journey for me..."

In between hitting red carpets and partying with friends, Kelly Rowland always makes time to spend with her baby boy Titan.

The fab mom and her 2-year-old son headed out to Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills for some fun. Kellz kept it cute in a cream sweatshirt, blue jeans, brown boots, a black hat and a pair of sunglasses to block out the L.A. sun.
 

The R&B singer, who’s gearing up to release a new pregnancy book titled “Whoa Baby,” put Baby Titan in the swings and pushed him back and forth as he looked around in amazement. What kid doesn’t love the swings?

One of Titan's little friends was also in the park and here they are adorably saying good-bye. Too cute!

After living it up in Paris together, Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith have returned to the States. The mother-daughter duo was spotted trekking it through LAX yesterday after touching down.

Can you imagine someone knocking on your door, you open it and it’s Denzel Washington?! Well, that happened to a few Pittsburgh fans while the Hollywood veteran was shooting FENCES. Deets inside...

So, we learned what it's like when Denzel knocks on your door and asks to come inside your house to "visit."

This week, Denzel and the cast (including some actors from the actual play) chatted with an audience in DC at the National Museum of African-American History + Culture about how he passed the time while spending three months in Pittsburgh shooting the new Fences movie.

TheYBF.com was on the scene to catch the goods when Denzel dished on the shenanigans he was up to while filming around the home of the late orginal playwright August Wilson.

Denzel revealed that they filmed in a real-life neighborhood called The Hill and even used real houses in the neighborhood. So he made random house visits to people in the community, going door to door to thank them for allowing them to shoot in their neighborhood. He said he was going to ask for food like real neighbors would too.

He even made one wigless fan's day.  The sexy A-Lister stopped at a young lady’s house and she told the star her aunt was upset because he hadn’t been to her house yet. So, Denzel decided to stop by the woman’s home so that she wouldn’t be upset. 

When he got there, the wheelchair-bound woman told him he couldn’t come inside...because she didn’t have her wig on. Oop!

After she got herself together, she let him in and fanned out for all 60 seconds. After that, Denzel said he was like a regular person. "She was asking me to do stuff [around the house] like, go fetch that box for me." Hilar!

Totally everybody's grandma.

When Denzel was asked what he wanted people to take away from the super intense and raw film, he responded, “It depends on what you bring to it.”

Denzel and his co-stars Mykelti Williamson, Jovan Adepo and Broadway star Stephen Henderson made their way to the Atlanta screening of the Broadway revial at the Regal Cinemas Atlantic Station a few days ago.

On the carpet, he snapped it up with his wife Pauletta Washington and Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed who were there to show their support.

If you follow Tyrese on social media, then you’ll know he LOVES traveling to the United Arab Emirates. So, it comes to no surprise he’s back enjoying the company of the locals.

The singer/actor posted several flicks of himself on his Instagram page rocking traditional Middle Eastern attire after attending The Worthy premiere in Dubai to support his friend Ali F. Mostafa, who directed the film.

The Furious 7 star reportedly wants to launch a new film studio in Abu Dhabi and it appears he may be dishing on his global plans on social media. And he will likely be expanding his Voltron Pictures company.

He wrote on Instagram,

“People will never understand on any level how gigantic my idea and bold visions are..... I never think local I think GLOBAL I never think urban I think multi ethnic all inclusive.... To all of you creatives out there.... stay encouraged please don't give up this world will stay the same if you keep your ideas and visions in your mind...... I get discouraged sometimes cause things don't happen as fast as I want them to but Gods timing is the best timing...... Please pray for me and I will do the same for you... My message to the world KEEP THE FIRE AND DESIRES BURNING inside and you will one day soon inshallah walk into your blessed destiny!!!!"

Ty, Dwayne Johnson, Ludacris, Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell from Furious 7 and before will be returning to the new project. (RIP Paul Walker). 

And get this…Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray will helm the film. YAS!

The awards just keep rolling in for Sterling K. Brown.  Deets on his new Critics Choice Award below...

Right after he posed it up with fans during The 22nd Annual Critics' Choice Awards tonight at Santa Monica's Barker Hangar, Sterling K. Brown accepted his Award on the red carpet before the show even started.

The This Is Us star copped the Best Supporting Actor (in a made for tv series or limited series) for his portrayal of Christopher Darden in "The People Vs. O.J. Simpson." He revealed doors have completely opened for him, and now when he walks into a room people are excited to work with him.  No more having to prove himself.  That's what happens when you put in the work for over 15 years.

Sterling already won the 2016 Primetime Emmy for the role, and it was well-deserved.

Courtney B. Vance just copped another award for his portrayal of Johnnie Cochran in "The People vs. O.J. Simpson."  Tonight in Santa Monica, he accepted the Critics' Choice Award for Best Actor in a Limited Series.  And once again, he made sure his wife Angela Bassett and his mom knew he it was all for them.

Betrayal, explosions, and ridiculously souped up cars swerving all around the planet is what fills the new The Fate of the Furious trailer. Get into the 8th installment of the nonstop Fast & The Furious franchise inside...

For the first time in history, Times Square was shut down for the debut of a movie trailer. Right before the Sunday Night Football kickoff on NBC, the cast got together to intro the trailer before it also played on TV.

It also looks like Vin Diesel and The Rock are (somewhat) friends again after Rock blasted him for filth a few months ago.

Actress/Reality star Malika Haqq has found love, or something, again.  And this time, it's with her upcoming "Famously Single" co-star Ronnie Magro.  Find out how they were boo'd up today inside...

Well...this is interesting.

Remember the fist pumping, extra drunk, GTL-loving folks from MTV's "Jersey Shore"?  Well Ronnie -- who used to fight ENDLESSLY with longtime girlfriend Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola -- has moved on with an unexpected chick.  That chick would be Khloe Kardashian's bestie Malika Haqq.

Apparently, they hit it off while filming their new E! reality show "Famously Single," and things seem to be moving fast.  The two recently started making their love #InstaOfficial.  Is it real or just a pr stunt?  Who knows.  But these two are all over each other on the 'gram....AND boo'd up at today's L.A. Rams football game (above).

Malika and Ronnie told E!:

"We had a lot in common from the start and it was an instant friendship. The attraction quickly became a mutual romance.  Our support for one another through this challenging experience made us strong in a very short period of time. We had an opportunity to really get to know each other living in such close quarters."

The lovebirds added, "Our family and friends are aware that we are together and extremely supportive of our relationship.”
