Christina Milian’s friends were full of surprises! They pulled off a surprise birthday dinner for the singer/reality star to celebrate her 35th birthday during the grand opening of Catch restaurant in West Hollywood last night.

Chick amped up the sex appeal in a see-through Fashion Nova catsuit. Hey, you only turn 35 once. And with her bod, we’re not mad. She finished her seductive look with black sandals, a black handbag and black jacket.

Hottie Nas was on the scene for the dinner festivities.

After the dinner party, C-Milli and her crew trekked it to Bootsy Bellows. And guess who she left with? None other than her ex-fiance Jas Prince! 

C-Milli and the Rap-A-Lot Records CEO ended their engagement in June 2014 after he proposed in May 2013. It didn’t take Christina long to end up a high-profile relationship with Jas’ friend Lil Wayne about a month later. Their relationship lasted a little over a year before they called it quits. By the way, Jas & Wayne are still cool.

Hmm…maybe they want that old thing back? Remember we spotted them shopping it up together over the summer? Stranger things have happened.

FUN FACT: C-Milli’s birthday is one day before her ex Lil Wayne’s.

"Power" star LaLa Anthony, who's currently in talks on turning her Power Playbook into a film with Queen Latifah, was spotted in a casual look as she made her way through the concrete jungle. Louisiana recently passed a law that requires strippers to be over the age of 21. Well, some “underage” dancers aren’t trying to give up their lifestyle and are suing the state! But...do they actually have a fair point about sexism?  Speak on it inside…

A few young strippers in Louisiana are fit to be tied at a new law passed that says exotic dancers MUST be over the age of 21. They say the new law is infringing on their freedom to express themselves, leaning on the First Amendment right to back them up.

They have filed a federal lawsuit lawsuit alleging that a law requiring performers in strip clubs be at least age 21 is unconstitutional, according to NOLA.com. They also claim that the law “unfairly targets women” since male strippers are still allowed to take their clothes off at the age of 18.

The site reports:

Identified in the lawsuit as Jane Doe I, II and III, the three dancers say the law will rob them of the ability to express themselves with erotic dance, in violation of the First Amendment guarantee of free speech.

They also claim the law unfairly targets women, citing a prohibition in state law that defines strip club performers as "entertainers whose breasts or buttocks are exposed to view." That definition, the dancers claim, applies only to women and "does not prohibit the same conduct by men" who are between the ages of 18 and 21.

Much of the lawsuit takes aim at the idea that the law is gender discriminatory, which the dancers say is in violation of the Constitution's equal protection law. Citing comments by legislators, the law seeks to bolster its gender discrimination argument by saying legislators knew the law was aimed at young women because state Rep. Walt Leger, D-New Orleans, and others said the law was aimed at protecting young women.

Sen. Ronnie Johns, the author of the bill, is reportedly quoted in the lawsuit as saying the bill is "strictly an anti-human trafficking bill." But, the three young ladies who filed the suit claim it’s only making it MORE likely they will get caught up with sex trafficking as pimps are using the new law to “recruit entertainers” who are 18 and will lose their job because of the new law. Interesting.

So, what do you think? Should women have the right to strip at the age of 18? Or, should they change the law to a minimum age of 18 for male strippers as well?  Or are  you a fan of the new law as is?  SPEAK ON IT!

The new "RHOA" trailer for season 9 is MANY things, as always.  Get it inside...

From domestic disputes to divorces to Housewives approaching other Housewives to have sex with them and their husbands, "RHOA" is doing the absolute MOST.

In the newly released season 9 trailer, we see Sheree and Kenya still arguing over their manors and chateaus, Sheree and ex-husband Bob getting closer and closer, Kenya accusing now ex-boyfriend Matt of busting the windows out her garage and being "unstable," Marlo asking folks if they're a lesbian, and plenty more.

Remember that fight that went down between Kandi and Porsha while all the ladies were out to eat?  Now we know it stemmed from Porsha's claims that Kandi & Todd invited her and Shamea to their sex dungeon at their house.  Chiiiiiile.....

Porsha also revealed, during a sit down with the Daily Dish, that she does have some run-ins with folks.  We're sure she was talking about Kandi.  She did confirm her and Phaeda's "frick and frack" relationship is still going strong:

"I definitely have some run-ins with a couple people who I didn't expect to have run-ins with this season," Porsha told The Daily Dish exclusively. "So, there may be some brief bump of the heads, but I brush it off a lot quicker. So frenemies today, and friends tomorrow."

 "The update on Frick and Frack is, first of all I want to clear up who's Frick and who's Frack," she said. "I am Frick. My lovely friend Phaedra is Frack, and, yeah, we're still going strong. We're doing a lot of different things. A lot of exciting things and, of course, we're still shady and I'm Petty P, so that's going to remain the same."

On Wednesday, Rihanna launched her SS17 collection for her Puma athleisure line.  She took the runway herself at Hotel de Salomon De Rothschild in Paris both at the start of the show (in a deep beige hoodie) and at the end (in a peach jacket and pants set).

She even had her model friends Sara Sampaio, Jourdan Dunn and Doutzen Kroes sitting front row.

Ludacris was busy at his Ludacris Foundation event yesterday handing out meals at the Atlanta Community Food Bank in recognition of Hunger Action Month. He brought his two daughters along, Cai and Cadence, to join in the community service.  And it's the first time he revealed the face of his youngest baby girl.

The rapper said, "#mylittlehelpers #daddysgirls" as he showed them the ropes of giving back.

Cai's stepmom and Cadence's mom Eudoxie posted the pic atop as well calling them daddy's girls. 

Luda filed for full physical custody of Cai and received it.  It was quite the controversial move as little Cai, who was raised by her mother Tamika Fuller at the beginning of her life, would no longer be living with her full time. 

We're glad to see him spending constructive time with the kiddies.  Sweet.

Still have doubts that Janet Jackson is actually pregnant?  Well the proof is in the pudding.  Get the first pics of Janet's baby bump inside...

Janet and husband Wissam Al Mana were out and about in London -- where they own one of many homes -- shopping for baby furniture this week.  Paps caught them out on their shopping trip and that baby bump was clearly showing.

Back in May, news broke that the now 50-year-old icon was expecting.  A month before that, she announced she was cancelling her tour in order to start a family with her husband.  Some folks had a hard time believing the pregnancy news, but here we are.

Entertainment Tonight posted the pics saying:

"...she was spotted out and about in London with a visible baby bump. Jackson, who is rarely photographed in public, was seen leaving the baby furniture store Back In Action wearing sneakers, dark sweatpants, a black sweater and a matching scarf and headband.

An eyewitness tells ET that Jackson arrived at the store in a chauffeured black Mercedes along with her bodyguard, her assistant and two others from her entourage. Jackson was greeted by staff, who shut the doors for her visit and seated her at a table to seemingly go over some of their merchandise. According to the eyewitness, she also strolled the store and took an interest in one of the prams.

Chef Curry -- the ACTUAL chef -- is currently making press rounds to promote her new cookbook The Seasoned Life.

Today, the NBA wife stops by “The Real” to dish on how she’s balancing her family life with her new career and Food Network show, “Ayesha’s Homemade.” She also spills some tea on how her husband, Golden State Warrior star Steph Curry, tried to make her believe he could make chai tea lattes from scratch. Ha!

The mom-of-two says she and Steph stepped out for chai tea lattes on Hollywood Blvd for one of their first dates. After they returned home to Charlotte, Steph said he would make one for her. She was impressed, but Steph’s sister quickly put him on blast when it came time for him to deliver.

Ayesha explains to the ladies:

“So I get back home to Charlotte and he says, ‘I’m going to make you a chai tea latte.’ I’m like, ‘You know how to make them?!’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, I do it all the time.’ I’m like, ‘Okay.’ His sister walks downstairs as he’s making the [puts up air quotes.] “chai tea lattes” and says, ‘Why do you have the container with the dog food in it?’ [I] look inside, there’s two coffee shop cups.

She adds, “Yes, and his sister outed him. It was…. It was incredible.”

Ha! Can’t knock a man for trying. And she clearly didn’t.

“I stayed, I stayed with him,” Ayesha said.

Here’s one way to get your mind off of a stressful situation.

A judge recently ruled in former NBA star Gilbert Arenas’ favor, demanding his ex-fiancée Laura Govan to cough up over $110K for STD slander. Gilbert filed a lawsuit (one of many) against Laura for libel after she allegedly blasted him for giving her a slew of STDs and allegedly leaked the information to the media.

But chick clearly isn’t bothered. So much so, she’s currently in Cabo living it up for her birthday. NAKED.

The former reality star took to her Instagram to show how unfazed she is over the new court ruling. She posted up a naked picture soaking in the night ocean view with the caption,“Why The "Nerve" ~ Ocean View Beach Massage EVERYTHING #BirthdayWeekendCabo.”

No shade, but in the legal documents Laura made it clear she"has very limited financial means at this time." So, posting up flicks in Cabo might not be one of her smartest decisions. We're sure the judge isn't going to want to hear "I'm broke stories" if she doesn't cough up that money to her children's father.

“The Voice” coach did a cover story interview with ELLE magazine where she reveals she’s never been a Mariah Carey fan."I've never really been a fan, because it's so much about Mariah Carey," the “Wrecking Ball” singer revealed.

Miley once told a contestant on the singing competition show that not everyone can be a “Mariah Carey.” And now, she explains what she means by that statement.

“That’s part of her shtick,” Miley said. “I can see through that. That’s part of what makes her a gay icon; like, it’s about Mimi! It’s about what she’s wearing, and it’s about her. What I make isn’t about me. It’s about sharing my story; it’s about someone being connected to what I’m saying.”

Jay Z just inked an exclusive first-look two-year overall deal with the Weinstein Company to produce new scripted and unscripted projects, this according to Deadline.

And get this. There are already projects already in the works and they will be announced in the coming weeks. With Hov and Roc Nation already dabbling in sports, music and fashion, TV and film is naturally the next step to continue to build the empire.

“I’m excited to tell stories from real life prophets, whom through their struggles have changed the world for the better, and others whose stories are filled with fantasy and delight,” Jay Z said in a statement. “Harvey and David are visionaries both of whom have done this time and time again. I’m already passionate about what we currently have in the pipeline and I’m looking forward to discovering others.”

The Hip Hop mogul has producer credits in the 2014 Annie remake, Chris Rock’s Top Five comedy and Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby.

Kevin Hart has gotten his fair share of criticism from the black community about his stance on the current racial strife in America.  But he's covering EBONY magazine for its October/November issue, and the highest paid comedian period is letting folks know he will always stand by his race.  More inside...

He's a comedian, actor, writer, and philanthropist.  Really just call him a mogul.  But some folks were calling him out for not thinking race needs to be a part of his comedy acts. 

Still, Kevin has made it clear he's black and he's proud.  He's even made videos telling folks he believes the media is trying to incite a race war, and urging them to not allow it to happen.  He also starred in a #BlackLivesMatter video with other celebs.

Now, in the new issue of EBONY mag, the dapper comic is letting folks know where he stands saying:

“I love representing my race all over the world at the highest level where people have to look and go, ‘Hey man, that strong Black man right there is a smart individual. He’s got it together; he’s trying to do some positive things.”

The Central Intelligence star also opens up on hot topics including why he isn’t more outwardly “political” during a time when many celebrities are taking sides in the #allivesmatter and #blacklivesmatter debate saying:

“I love my people. I have never not stood by my people and by my race.”

Fashionista and reality star Angela Simmons just welcomed a baby boy with her fiancé and Atlanta businessman Sutton Tennyson.  The 29-year-old daughter of Rev. Run shared on Instagram a pic of the baby and revealed:

The couple, who announced their engagement in April, have been celebrating their new bundle of joy on social media since announcing the pregnancy in May.  From baby showers to working out together to Angela still working on her new store throughout her pregnancy, we've seen it all.

Time for some superhero fun!

Last night, the cast of Netflix’s new Marvel series “Luke Cage” made their way to the red carpet at the AMC Magic Johnson Harlem Theater for the NYC premiere.

Making their way down the carpet, Luke Cage himself, Mike Colter, snapped it up with his co-stars Simone Missick and Rosario Dawson (who also stars in "Daredevil") front-and-center for all the action.

lIf you haven’t been keeping up with “Luke Cage,” he’s a black superhero with super human strength and bulletproof skin.  How fitting for this day in age.

Luke Cage first popped up in Netflix’s recent “Jessica Jones” series. Mike dished to Variety about the show being labeled a “black” series, describing it as "inclusively black." He said,

“People want to describe it as a black show, but I would say it’s inclusively black, in a sense that yes the characters are black and yes you’re watching a show shot in Harlem, but these inclusively black characters have the same problems you have, and go through the same sort of issues that everyone goes through.”

The YBF actor said his character is very relatable, but he has super cool powers.

“When I think about Luke Cage, the last thing I think about is a superhero. It’s more like, By the way, it’s a superhero story.  The guy has special abilities, but he also goes through the same things we go through.”

Cute skirt! Rosario Dawson will bring her "Jessica Jones" and "Daredevil" character Claire Temple to the series for a few episodes.

Star Simone Rissick was pretty in pink. She plays Misty Knight in the Marvel series.

Simone’s actor husband Dorian Missick, who starred in Brandy’s “Zoe Ever After,” was right by her side to show support. #BlackLove

Work it out then! “Luke Cage” star Cassandra Wilson struck some poses in a gold embellished Laurel Dewitt jacket over a black mini dress, a Blackbird Dillinger for Laurel DeWitt handbag and Laruicci jewels.  Looking fab.

Hollywood veteran Alfre Woodard will play Mariah Dillard, a local Harlem politician who is looking to bring a new era of change to the streets where she grew up. She was joined on the carpet by her husband Roderick Spencer.

Actor Mahershala Ali will bring the villain Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, who happens to be Mariah’s cousin, to life.

Star Frankie Faison will play Pops, a reformed gangster who owners a barber shop that Luke Cage works at.

A Tribe Called Quest's Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younger were on the carpet. They composed the series soundtrack.

Making the announcement on Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club,” the Harlem native revealed that he just inked a deal with Def Jam. And his mentor Nas will be executive producing his debut album.

Come thru testimony!

During the interview, the Mass Appeal Records signee opened up about the deal explaining he’s more of a partner rather than just another artist on their roster.

"Mass Appeal is still the family, but I actually just did a joint venture with Def Jam," he said. "I am very excited about it." He added of the deal, "It wasn't just the average [deal of] me signing to a major -- I'm actually partners with [Def Jam]. It was just a step forward for me. I was with Mass Appeal solely for almost two years."

The new dad talked about his relationship with Nas and how the Queensbridge rapper has helped him:

"Nas really introduced the world and a lot of people to me -- that was ideal as far as me first coming in. It's at a time now where a machine really helps what I'm trying to do, especially being from New York and not trying to just stay in New York. I'm not trying to be underground or classified as a certain type of dude, so I feel like this was a good move to really try and get my brand, my movement across the world."

The new Def Jam signee also talked about fatherhood, naming forthcoming project after his daughter Kairi Chanel, diss records and more. Peep the interview below:

His major label debut album (title TBA) is expected to be released in 2017.

Beyonce’s girl group Chloe x Halle made an appearance on the “TODAY” show today to perform their new track “Fall,” a cut from their recently released Sugar Symphony EP.

The super cute sibling duo (posing above with co-anchor Tamron Hall) caught Beyonce’s eye and ever since they signed to Parkwood Entertainment, they have been blowing up, hitting several major stages, hosting events and giving back to other young girls.

Lupita & David have jokes!  Check out their impersonation (sorta) of Kenya Moore and other Housewives as they make their media rounds inside...

Yo...when Lupita and David have been sippin' on cocktails and taking shots all night, ish gets hilarious.  They entered the Bravo clubhouse last night to chat with Andy Cohen on "WWHL," and it was only right they were asked to re-enact the famous lines of certain Housewives.  Because, what else do you ask classically trained actors to do on live tv?!

RobKardashian dipped into the petty bowl when he tweeted out sister Kylie's phone number in a revenge mood.  Now Blac Chyna is doing the same thing to him....because apparently he's "still texting b**ches."

Blac Chyna and fiance Rob Kardashian have been on the outs ever since their new reality show "Rob & Chyna" started.  Chy kicked Rob out of her house multiple times...so he went to go live in his own house that his mama Kris bought him.

We're not sure who these chicks are that Chyna swears Rob is texting with, but that seems to be the center of their fights.  All that on top of Rob's major insecurities about his body and being out in public.

They seemed to be back on good terms this week when Rob stood up for his queen, tweeting out his sister Kylie's number after he alleged his family didn't invite Chyna, the mother of his child, to a baby shower they were throwing for him.

Late last night, after Rob Snapchatted her in his bed, Chyna did the same thing to Rob.

Everybody's loving this red hot, curve hugging House of CB jumpsuit.  Ashanti is the latest celeb to rock the look.  Now, decide who rocked it best inside...

Ashanti made her way to D.C. yesterday for her duties as Ambassador for the National Youth of the Year celebration. She rocked the House of CB 'Devi' red bandage jumpsuit with a black and gold choker and a colorful clutch.

Both Amber Rose and Niecy Nash rocked the same jumpsuit last month to do talk show duties and hit the red carpet for a Television Academy event, respectively. They both kept the accessories to a minimum.

Kandi Burruss Tucker and Todd Tucker are going to be tardy for the party in Hawaii with the rest of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast. They got kicked off Hawaiian Airlines for allegedly causing a “commotion.” Peep the video inside…

Production for season 9 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is underway in Hawaii with the entire cast jetting to Honolulu for a getaway.  Y'all know they STAY on a vacay and cameras are likely still rolling. But, “RHOA” stars Kandi Burruss Tucker and Todd Tucker will not make it to taping on time.

Last night, Kandi and Todd boarded a Hawaiian Airlines flight headed to the island, but eventually they were kicked off the flight…”for no reason!,” according to Kandi.

The Bedroom Kandi honcho posted a video of the aftermath with an explanation of what went down. So here’s what went down:She and Todd (and seemingly Peter Thomas) were sitting in their assigned seats when a gate agent asked for their tickets because the tickets weren’t showing up in their system. Kandi gave them the ticket, but the flight was gearing up for takeoff. She became concerned because the agent never returned the ticket and the ticket had her baggage claim information on it.

Kandi said she asked the flight attendant about getting her ticket back and that’s when another woman came on the flight and asked them to get OFF, at the pilot's command, because they started a “commotion” of some sort. After they hopped off the plane, Kandi whipped out her phone to document the situation.

#HawaiianAirlines just kicked us off for no reason. This was so crazy & random! We were sitting in our seat & the gate ticketer came on & asked to see my ticket because it wasn't showing up in their system. I gave him my ticket but it had our baggage claim checks on the back. He never brought it back & the plane started rolling off. I asked the flight attendant where was my ticket & told him I needed the baggage claim ticket just in case my bags didn't make the flight. The flight attendant left & came back & said the pilot was calling to check & then the next thing I know this lady comes on the plane & said she needed Todd & I to get off the plane because we caused some sort of commotion... Really???? I barely said a word to that flight attendant. Everybody sitting around us was like what are they talking about! This shit is crazy.

We're not sure the extent of the situation, but we wonder what exactly happened for the airline to kick them off. Maybe we will see it on the upcoming new season.

YBF chicks Jennifer Hudson and Nia Long nabbed new gigs. Get the deets on JHud lending her expertise on the UK’s version of “The Voice” and Nia joining Netflix’s “Dear White People” series inside….

Grammy Award winner Jennifer Hudson just landed a new gig! The “American Idol” finalist has signed on as a coach for the UL version the singing competition show “The Voice.” Who better to have as a coach than JHud?

The soulful songstress didn’t even win during the season she appeared on “American Idol,” but she STILL made her mark in the entertainment industry. She won a Grammy and she won an Oscar for her role as Effie in Dreamgirls. Not to mention, she starred in the Broadway music The Color Purple.

Jenny will be joining coaches will.i.am. from the Black Eyed Peas, musician Gavin Rossdale ("The Voice" judge Gwen Stefani’s ex-husband -- awwwwkward), and singer Tom Jones.

The Voice UK’s new season will air early next year on ITV. Congrats JHud!

Another YBF chick getting work….

Hollywood veteran Nia Long has joined Netflix’s straight-to-series comedy “Dear White People,” based on the 2014 film.  She'll have a recurring role.

The series will follow a diverse group of students of color as they navigate a predominantly white Ivy League college where racial tensions are often swept under the rug. The series is a send-up of "post-racial" America that also weaves a universal story about forging one's own unique path.

According to Deadline, the 45-year-old actress will star as Neika Hobbs, “an African-American studies professor at Winchester University with a whip-smart intellect and unflappable confidence whose pulled-together professional life contrasts a more complicated personal one.”

“Hit The Floor” actress Logan Browning will take on the role Samantha White, played by Tessa Thompson in the movie. Actor Brandon Bell will reprise his part in the series as Troy Fairbanks, the son of the dean of students and a political science major who is campaigning to become Winchester University's first black student president.

Production for the new series is currently underway and its expected to debut on Netflix in 2017. Will you be binge watching?
