Six years after "Saturday Night Live" got dragged for their lack of black cast members, two of the post-drama hires aren't returning.

TV line broke the news saying:

Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah are leaving NBC’s late-night institution and will pursue other opportunities. Both had been with the show for six seasons.

NBC also confirmed.

Damn homie.  Jay rose to fame on social media for his impersonations of celebs like Jay-Z, Will Smith and President Obama, and he even nailed GOP presidential hopeful Dr. Ben Carson on the show.  Taran Killam handled the Weekend Update and more.

Meanwhile, Jay had a crazy day on top of getting the "SNL" break up news.  He was caught up in the Delta airlines flight cancellation drama on Monday.  All Delta flights wee grounded with only a fraction eventually taking off later in the day, all thanks to a computer outage.

But he did get to catch up with Chris Tucker:

The Summer of Swish is in full effect, and it apparently included a wedding!

The NBA champ has been calling Jewel Harris, mother to his kiddies, his wife all season.  But they just made it official this week in their home state of New Jersey.

J.R.'s brothers Chris and Demitirus Smith, teammate Andy Lopez and more were on hand to see the NBA's former bad boy turn into an upstanding husband (and new business owner).

The groom tweeted about his big day saying:

J.R. also talked to NBPA about the big changes in his life.  He said:

Ever since I got back with my wife, Jewel, last year and proposed to her in August, things started going uphill slowly but surely.

Before I was doing so much thinking; now it’s just reacting. So it’s just taking stuff as things come and realizing what’s more important between her and my girls, Demi and Peyton, as opposed to everything else.

Sounds like he's growing up!

J.R. has been working on his own Team Swish lifestyle store, and he's building it himself with his dad:

It’s incredible what my dad did with the store. He even built parts of my house. Still to this day I know how to do all that stuff that he taught me—houses, patios, everything. And it was great because it was almost like learning a trade. I remember days like this when it gets hotter wearing full-length heavy pants, carrying concrete blocks, just no shade, sun on you 24/7 until you go home. And it’s, like, “I don’t want to live like this. This is hard living.” But it helped me gain strength for basketball.

About why he wants his store an future community center to take over:

Ever since I was a kid, I always dreamed of having my own sneaker store. When I was growing up, this was when Michael Jordan was in the prime of everything. So a fresh pair of kicks was always everything. No matter what else you had on, if you had a fresh pair of sneakers on, you were always the freshest guy in school—no matter what your pants looked like, no matter what your shirt looked like, hat, whatever. It was always about the shoes, so I got attached extremely early. If I were to do my own shoe, it’d definitely be like a lifestyle shoe. I also really want to do a golf line. I want to create my own golf shoes. I play all the time.

Looking ahead, I want to take over my community center. That’s my new goal. I want to start my own little league program for basketball, football, baseball, soccer, golf, field hockey—whatever kids are into, whatever kids want to do. Family is everything to me. Growing up, I didn’t have a lot of friends. All I had was my family. So for me, this is my family. For me, this is normal. To other people, they’ve got a lot of outside people coming in. But for me, it’s the same people from day one for me—my family, my brothers, my sisters, my kids, my parents, my cousins. That’s about it. Everybody else I’ve generally met through basketball, so it’s not really the same.

Deets are spilling on what fans can expect for season 3 of “Empire.” Find out what’s going to go down, plus peep flicks of Taraji P. Henson, Keke Palmer, Christina Milian, Keesha Sharp and more at the summer TCA panels inside…

Before season 3 of “Empire” return this fall, the cast and crew are spilling some tea on what fans can expect this upcoming season.

Yesterday, lead star Taraji P. Henson, showrunner Ilene Chaiken and executive producer Sanaa Hamri took center stage at the “Empire” panel discussion for the 2016 Television Critics Association Summer Tour at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. And they dished on Cookie Lyon getting another love interest.

Ilene teased that Taye Diggs’ character, politician Angelo Dubois, may come after Cookie in season 3, but in a romantic way.

“His story is all about Cookie,” Chaiken told reporters. “It starts out as a Jamal story and, like everything else, everybody intersects. But it’s primarily a story about Cookie.”

When asked if Taye’s character will be romantically linked to Taraji’s character, she responded, “He certainly would like to be.” Oh? We’re here for it!

It won’t be easy though. He’s going to have to work for it, according to Taraji. In season 3, Cookie is going to try and leave Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard), so if he plays his cards right, he may end up being her new arm candy. “He’s going to have to work because Cookie’s gotten her heart broken way too many times,” Taraji added.

There are also talks of an “Empire” spinoff show.

“There’s a good chance there will be a spinoff,” said Ilene. “The show offers so many opportunities. Potential spinoffs with these characters – sure!”

We told you yesterday Mariah Carey joined the cast in a guest-starring role and now we know she has already filmed her scenes for the new season.

“She was great,” Taraji said. “She’s fabulous; I wish I could wear a leotard like that. What she brings to the music industry she brought to the show. I’m glad Mariah spent time with little old us.”

“Empire” will return September 21st on FOX. Y’all ready?

A new comedy horror series is coming to FOX, starring singer/actress Christina Milian.

The 34-year-old star, who will play Magenta, joined her “Rocky Horror Picture Show” castmates to chat it up about how they worked with dialect coaches in order to get a feel for their characters without copying the performances of the actors before them in the reboot.

"Rocky Horror Picture Show" debuts October 20th on FOX.

Actors Keesha Sharp and Damon Wayans hit the panel for their new reboot series “Lethal Weapon,” based on the famed ’80s/’90s film franchise.

“The most recent movie, Lethal Weapon 4, was grounded in comedy,” said EP Matt Miller, “but in order to do something that had legs, you have to have some depth. So we rebooted the story with their backstories. It’s really about two guys who are broken and need each other.”

Damon will star as L.A.P.D detective Roger Murtaugh and Keesha will play his wife Trish Murtaugh. Fans can expect the remake to premiere September 21st on FOX.

Actor DB Woodside and his co-star Tricia Helfer were front and center at the “Gotham/Lucifer” panel discussion to chop it up about season 2 of “Lucifer.”

“Gotham” and “Lucifer” are set to premiere on Monday, September 19th at 8pm and 9pm EST respectively.

YBF actress Joy Bryant was also on the scene to promote AMAZON’s new pilot “Good Girls Revolt.” According to Deadline, the project is set in 1969 at the beginning of the women’s rights movement when a group of young women at the hottest magazine in the world ask to be treated fairly, setting off a convulsive chain of events.

The “Parenthood” actress will play civil rights activist Eleanor Holmes Norton. Production kicked off this month in NYC.

“Good Girls Revolt” will hit the small screen on October 28th on FOX.

C-Milli was a total sex kitten on the carpet styling in a black sheer net peplum dress by Lexi Clothing that showed off major skin.

Christina's "Rocky Horror Picture Show" co-star Laverne Cox served sophisticated and sexy FAB.

Looking good! "Scream Queens" star and EMMY nominated actress Niecy Nash flossed her curves in a black Herve jumpsuit that hugged her in all the right places.

"Lethal Weapon" star Keesha Sharp strutted her stuff in a tight navy blue dress teetering on platform pumps.

From puppy love to mature love! Go inside to see Christian Combs and his girlfriend Breah Hicks, along with Mel B and her husband Stephen Belafonte hit the L.A. scene for couples’ night….

The YBF couples are spreading the love all over L.A.

Last night, Christian Combs took his girlfriend Breah Hicks out on a date to Katsuya Restaurant for some sushi and Japanese cuisine. Photogs captured the young lovebirds leaving the venue as they headed to their car after eating. Well aren’t they cute.

The last time we saw the young couple, they were heading out to Christian’s prom. If you’re wondering what’s next for Diddy’s son, he’s working on building his empire as a rapper under the moniker “King Combs.” Thanks to his pops, he signed a record deal with Bad Boy and should be dropping some new music soon.

You’ll recall, King Combs made his debut performance at the 2016 BET Experience with his brothers Quincy Brown and Justin Combs.

Another YBF couple on the scene...

“America’s Got Talent” judge Mel B and her hubby Stephen Belafonte planned for a nice dinner date at celeb hotspot The Nice Guy. But, ish went kinda left.

When the twosome showed up at the door of the venue, they were denied entry inside. The reason? Apparently, there was a private party going on and the bouncers wouldn’t let them in. Stephen tried to negotiate his way inside to no avail.

U.S. gymnast Olympian Dominique Dawes is the cutest mom-of-two now. Go inside to find out what she’s up to these days and the peep the baby cuteness from her daughters inside….

It’s been over two decades since former gymnast Dominique Dawes wowed us all at the 1996 Summer Olympics, nabbing the gold medal with her fellow "Magnificent Seven" gymnasts – the first U.S. team to do so.

These days, she’s a stay-at-home mom and wife, keeping busy running after her two daughters, 2-year-old Kateri and 10-month-old Quinn. The former gymnast, who retired from the sport in 2000, has been married to her husband Jeff Thompson for three years.

Dominique, who made history as the first African American to win an individual Olympic medal in women's gymnastics, stopped by “Good Morning America” this week to chat it up at the daytime show’s celebration of the 2016 Summer Olympics. In between segments, the motivational speaker stopped to kiss her daughters who were adorably awaiting her arrival outside.

Aww! Too cute.

With the 2016 Summer Olympics underway, Dominique has been on the promo trail. A few weeks ago, she did an interview with the “TODAY” show where she talked about how being an Olympian has made her a better mom.

She said:

Being an Olympian — or just being an athlete — you can relate to setting goals and sticking things out because you have a love and a passion for your sport. I truly believe that my 18 years in the sport of gymnastics has helped me be a better mom — to be the mom that I am today.

In gymnastics, there were always tough days. We were always tired. You always had to get back to being focused on what the goal was that you were striving for.

Obviously, as an athlete my goal was always to qualify for the Olympics or get a scholarship or win a gold medal. But as a mom, my goal is to make sure I have happy, healthy children.

Just a few weeks ago...

Dominique introduced her daughters to gymnastics powerhouse Simone Biles before she headed out to Rio to take home the gold (yes, we’re claiming it already). She shared the special moment on Instagram captioning, “loved introducing my girls2the best gymnast ever @simonebiles first time I've ever met this dynamo @tidelaundry #smallbutpowerful”

Simone, Gabby Douglas and the rest of Team USA are currently battling it out in the women's gymnastics final round. Good luck ladies!

Last night Drake did his last Summer Sixteen show at the Garden, and he clearly wanted to leave a mark.  The 6 God seemed to be king of New York, at least for the night.

Uh oh! Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert are being sued while Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas put their Atlanta home up for sale. Deets inside…

As if Tamar Braxton doesn’t have enough drama going on in her life right now, she and her husband Vincent Herbert (pictured above headed to the doctor's office in L.A. recently) will be heading to court after a audio/video company pulled the trigger on a new lawsuit.

It’s being reported the couple hired Crystal Clear Audio & Video to install custom wiring in their Calabasas home back in December. The problem? They never paid the full bill. At least, that’s what the home renovation company claims. Not only that, this alleged unpaid bill is reportedly affecting the small business as it struggles to meet payroll. Really?

The audio/video company filed the paperwork for the overdue balance, interest and collection fees that total $3,724. Now, the case is set to go before a judge at the end of the month in small claims court.

Hmm….maybe this bill just slipped through the cracks?

In other reality coupledom news...

This news comes as no surprise.

Since Cynthia Bailey blindsided her estranged husband Peter Thomas about her plans for divorce, the couple is now going through the motions.

TMZ reports the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars are unloading their East Atlanta home, putting it up for sale last month. The 4-bedroom, 5-bath home is already in escrow for $699K. The site reports Cynthia may cop a new lakeside pad outside Atlanta.

As you all know, the former couple has been living separately since the spring. Peter has been staying in Charlotte, NC to work on his new sports bar, while the Bailey Agency founder stays in their home in ATL. Not for long though.

Future and Giorgio Armani are semi-besties now thanks to the luxe Bugatti. Peep their feature in GQ Style, plus Tinashe posing it up for Marie Claire and the deets on her hot new ride inside…

Thanks to his major hit “Bugatti” with Ace Hood, Future is rubbing elbows with famed fashion designer Giorgio Armani. For a new feature in GQ Style, the Atlanta rapper and the 82-year-old Italian designer meet for the first time to model Armani's new capsule collection with Bugatti and have seemingly formed a new friendship.

“I know how much he suffers to be where he is. He’s suffered just like I’ve suffered. So…we’re friends in a way,” said Giorgio.

Upon their first meeting, Future admits he was nervous about meeting the fashion icon.

“He’s [Armani] seen all kinds of artists over the years, said Future. “He can basically just look at you and tell. Sometimes I get nervous about being accepted by people like him, because you never know. But someway my walk of life and his walk of life have connected.”

With their newfound friendship, the rapper foresees some new material to come from their union.

"He’s the top designer in the world," Future said. "I’m the top rapper in the world. Some hits are going to come from this experience for sure.”

With her new Joyride album coming down the pipeline, R&B sensation Tinashe strikes a pose for Marie Claire to dish about her new Ferrari, why she loves joyrides and her need for speed.

"I just got a new car: Ferrari California, black with a red interior. I've actually wanted a Ferrari California since I was 16. Okay—it was mostly about the look,” the “Superlove” singer said.

Tinashe said she goes on joyrides all the time as they give her time to be alone with her thoughts. She shared,

"A joyride is driving around with no particular destination in mind. I do it all the time, usually by myself at night. I enjoy the solitude of it. It gives me time to think and be in my own space."

Does she have a need for speed? Yep, she sure does.

"I've probably hit 100 mph before, driving to Vegas. So yeah, I've gotten a speeding ticket. I didn't even try to talk my way out of it. I can't talk my way out of things if I'm guilty of something. I'm too honest! The officer was nice and said, 'I think you were going faster than this, but I'll say you were going 80.'"

Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, the most decorated American Olympian ever, won his record setting 21st Olympic gold medal last night. And USA basketball players were in the mix to celebrate the historic accomplishment.

After the swimmers won big in last night's relay, NBA ballers Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, DeAndre Jordan and DeMarcus Cousins met up with Michael and the rest of the swim team to show their support.

And, of course, capturing the moment with flicks.

They also congratulated Olympic swimmer Katie Ledecky -- who is KILLING IT by the way --after she took home another gold in the 200m freestyle.

Kevin fanned out about meeting Michael. On Instagram, he said, "In the presence of greatness."  The new Golden State Warriors baller said previously he tried to meet Michael during the opening ceremony, but never got the chance to link up. He finally got his chance last night. 

He also showed Katie some hometown love. They're both D.C. natives.

Draymond nabbed a pic with the Olympic G.O.A.T. as well.

In unfortunate news, two Olympic boxers have been arrested for sexual assault in Rio. According to reports, 22-year-old Jonas Junius, a light welterweight for Namibia and served as their flag bearer during the opening ceremonies, was arrested by Brazilian police for allegedly attempting to force himself on a maid in Olympic Village. 

Days earlier, Olympic boxer Hassan Saada of Morocco was arrested last Friday for allegedly sexually assaulting two waitresses who were employed at the Olympic Village at Barra da Tijuca.

After celebrating her daughter’s upcoming arrival last month, “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star Amina Buddafly gives birth to a new bundle of joy whom she shares with husband Peter Gunz.

The married couple named their baby girl Bronx Pankey, who will join big sister Cori (seen kissing her below) and 8 half siblings. Baby Bronx makes baby #10 for Peter. Sheesh!

You’ll recall, the Internet was abuzz after learning Amina was pregnant with Peter’s 10th baby especially since his baby mother Tara Wallace was also pregnant at the time. Tara gave birth to her 3rd child,Gunner Pankey, with Peter in February.

Since when does a child wearing a wig makes him gay? That’s what Amber Rose is trying to figure out.

The late night talk show host posted a cute picture of her 3-year-old son Sebastian Thomaz playing with one of her new two-strand twist wigs pretending to be a “spooky zombie.” (FYI – She wore this wig during the taping of a new episode for her talk show).

But ish quickly went left when her comments section on Instagram was flooded with negative comments, accusing the “How To Be A Bad B*tch” author of turning her son gay!

The comments were judgmental and unnecessary about a baby. One person said, “Wouldn’t be surprised if he eventually comes out as gay.” And another said, “He already talks a little ‘sweet.’ All bad.”

Amber went into mama bear mode and popped off at the trolls, saying:

After letting out some of her frustrations on Instagram, she then turned to SnapChat to challenge her followers to an experiment. “I posted a picture of Sebastian playing with my wig earlier and all the comments are saying that my son is gay. He’s three,” she said.

She told everyone who had something to say to put a wig on their boyfriend or grandfather and see if they turn gay by simply wearing a wig. Check it below:

Singer-turned-chef Kelis found herself being attacked over her fuzzy two-strand twists after posting up a video where she’s cooking with her baby boy Shepherd.

Apparently, some random chick had something to say about her unkept ‘do so Kelis decided to respond. The initial comment is nowhere to be found in the comments section, so the commenter (or Kelis) likely deleted it.

Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg’s “The High Road Tour” is bound to be one for the books.

Last week, a railing collapsed in New Jersey, injuring 40 concertgoers while the Mary Jane lovers were on stage. On Sunday night, 43 people were thrown in jail for underage drinking during their set at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Here’s what we know….

A handful of kids got wasted during a tailgate hours before the show. 11-13 underage concertgoers got so twisted they ended up in the hospital for alcohol poisoning. In fact, about 35 people total were treated for alcohol poisoning.

TMZ reports an 18-year-old was so tore up he fell face first, injuring his nose and mouth. Ouch!

The Times Union reports in addition to the arrests, fake licenses were recovered from Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and South Carolina. Not only that, an additional 24 fraudulent documents were recovered within the venue as well. Now, a follow up investigation has been launched to get to the bottom of the fake IDs.

It’s being reported that the concert was understaffed with security with a total of 14 police officers monitoring the 14,000 concertgoers. Yikes!

Hope those involved are OK. This tour is bringing all types of foolery.

Tonight, Wiz and Snoop bring the “High Road” to the First Niagara Pavilion Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. Let’s hope everything goes well.

In other legal woes...

Rapper Troy Ave, who’s currently out on bail on attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges, has lawyered up and is now suing Live Nation and Irving Plaza in NYC after a shooting rang out during a T.I. concert back in May.

Troy (government name Ronald Collins) is suing the companies for failing to search VIP entrants for guns, which led to the death of his longtime friend/bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter, according to NY Daily News.

Troy was arrested and charged after video surveillance surfaced showing him firing a weapon inside the venue. He was also shot in the leg during the mayhem. He’s out on a $500,000 bail.

On Monday, Troy (pictured above) joined by his lawyer Scott Leemon for a press conference in front of Irving Plaza where he announced he’s fighting to get his life back.  e arrivd on crutches and his ankle monitor was visible. 

“I’m going through a lot,” he said.“I just want to get my life back.”

The lawsuit was filed in Brooklyn Supreme Court on Monday. No dollar amount was listed, but it did point out that the Brooklyn rapper had been harmed both physically and financially.

Troy’s lawyer added, "He is the victim here. He did not bring a gun into this place. And we are seeking redress for the negligence.”

While guns were recovered from his van during a search, the 30-year-old rapper and his lawyers are adamant Troy did NOT bring a weapon inside the venue. It’s being reported the rapper wrestled the weapon away from another man and fired at him. They claim the other man is responsible for Ronald McPhatter's killing.

While he awaits his day in court, Troy has been ordered to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet and can not leave the state of New York. A judge has also ordered Troy to stay of performance venues, clubs, bars, arenas and similar locations until he has his day in court.

Holly Robinson Peete’s son RJ Peete brought tears to her eyes before she sang the National Anthem at the L.A. Dodger’s Autism night. Plus, T.I. & Tiny’s son King and Major Harris get “back-to-school” fresh in a new promo shoot for a kid’s clothing line. Get it all inside….

It was autism night at Dodger Stadium in L.A. last night as the Dodgers went head-to-head against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Actress Holly Robinson Peete came out to celebrate the event as she was tapped to kick off the game with a performance of the National Anthem.

The whole Peete family was there, including Holly's husband Rodney Peete, son RJ Peete, daughter Ryan Peete, son Roman Peete and her mom Dolores Robinson, to enjoy a fun night out.

RJ, who has autism, brought tears to his mother's eyes before she took center field as she was overjoyed at the many accomplishments he has attained thus far. She revealed doctors told her and her husband that their son would never have a regular job or be able to live on his own. But RJ is proving them all wrong. He's is now a clubhouse attendant for the Dodgers.  Plus, at last night's game, he caught the first ball from another young man with autism. Sweet!

So tonight after I sang the national anthem for the Dodgers on autism night my son RJ-who is a clubhouse attendant for the Dodgers -came out and surprised us dressed in uniform and then got a chance to hang out in the Dugout with his boys!!! Words can't even describe what it means to me to have my son work for the Dodgers organization. How these men have embraced him melts my heart. When he was 3 we were told he would never have a regular job and be able to live on his own. We are so grateful to the Dodgers for how they have embraced our son and are setting the example for corporate America to hire young people with Autism because they are valuable and amazing!! Our son went from having very few friends to a Dugout full of friends!! #ForPeetesSake

A warrant as been issued for Tyga’s arrest and it has pissed off the Kardashian Klan. But, he doesn’t seem too bothered. He’s reportedly in Turks & Caicos with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner to celebrate her 19th birthday. More inside….

Tyga is in hot water with the Kardashian-Jenner family after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest on Tuesday.

Sources close to the family tell TMZ several Kardashians hit up the rapper to blast him for being so irresponsible by missing a court date. He was supposed to appear in court for the $480,000 judgment against him from his former landlord. You’ll recall, he stopped paying his rent three months after moving in and left the Malibu home in a huge mess. Since he hasn’t coughed up the money for the judgment, the landlord wants to know where he’s hiding his assets.

The Kardashian Klan was worried that he could have been pulled over and arrested while Kylie was in the car with him. Y’all know the Kardashians aren’t here for anyone messing up “their reputation.”

As for why he didn’t make the court hearing...

It's likely because he’s living it up a tropical island to celebrate his girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s 19th birthday. He reportedly jetted to Turks & Caicos with Kylie, her sister Kendall Jenner and friends Jordyn Woods and Justine Skye. Hmph.

What’s interesting is that Tyga copped Kylie a brand new Mercedes-Benz Maybach for her birthday a few days ago. So, if he has money to gift a new car, he can certainly pay some, if not all, of the money he owes his former landlord.

Since getting killed off on “Power,” actor Sinqua Walls has landed a new gig on “The Breaks.” In movie news, Jennifer Lopez is gearing up to star and executive produce a new film about drug lord Griselda Blanco. Deets inside….

We here at TheYBF.com did a collective "Daaaaamn bruh" when Sinqua Wells was killed off the hit STARZ series “Power." Yes, he was one of our faves and major eye candy. But, no need to cry for his departure as will be joining a new show.

Today, VH1 announced Sinqua has been cast to star in the new scripted series “The Breaks,” based on the hit film that aired earlier this year. Fruitvale Station star Melonie Diaz and “Billions” actress Ali Ahn round out the cast of newbies.

The sexy actor will be joining the cast, including “90210” star Mack Wilds, lead star Afton Williamson, “The Wire” actor Wood Harris, “Ballers” star Antoine Harris, “The Magicians” actor David Call and “Sex & The City” star Evan Handler.

Below is a synopsis (via press release):

Inspired by the book by journalist Dan Charnas entitled The Big Payback, a narrative history of the hip-hop business, “The Breaks” is written, directed and executive produced by Seith Mann (“The Wire,” “The Walking Dead,” “Homeland”) with a story by Mann and Charnas. John J. Strauss (“Mozart in the Jungle”) is joining as Executive Producer for the series. The film followed three young friends fulfilling their hip hop dreams in New York City in 1990. The series will continue to explore their triumph and heartbreak trying to make their mark in a new and complex hip hop culture.

Production is set to start in a few days and the new series is expected to debut in January 2017.

Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for a new movie that will tell the tale of notorious drug lord Griselda Blanco, according to Deadline.

If you saw “Cocaine Cowboys” then you know exactly who we’re talking about. And this MIGHT just be a genius casting decision low key.

The ruthless drug lord was a major player in the drug game back in the 70s and 80s and became the most powerful female cartel member of all time. She was often referred to as “The Cocaine Godmother” and chick did NOT play when it came to her money or her product.  At all.

HBO is developing the film and JLo is executive producing the movie.  As Exec. Producer you get first dibs on which role you will play....so chick is making power moves.

“I’ve been fascinated by the life of this corrupt and complicated woman for many years,” said JLo. “The idea of teaming with HBO felt like the perfect fit for finally bringing Griselda’s story to life.”

We are SO here for this one!

Jumpsuits are the trend these days and we’ve spotted two YBF ladies rocking the same one-piece at two recent events.

Two weeks ago, late night talk show host Amber Rose hit the carpet at MAXIM’s Hot 100 party held at the Hollywood Palladium in L.A. styling in a black plunging neckline Herve Leger jumpsuit. She topped off her look with a platinum blonde cropped wig, a thick black choker and oversized sunglasses.

The "How To Be A Bad B*tch" author tried to change up her signature look, but we all know Amber when we see her.

Meanwhile...

EMMY nominated actress Niecy Nash, who has been hitting the gym hard to get right for the EMMYs, rocked the same jumpsuit at FOX’s summer TCA afterparty this week. The tight jumpsuit hugged those curves in all the right places and she looked damn good.

When news broke earlier Wednesday about the shocking death of longtime ESPN host John Saunders, his co-workers and others oured out their hearts.  Full story inside....

He's one of the godfathers of ESPN.  So when news of Canadian-born John Saunders' death hit the news today, everyone in the sports world was heart broken.

The 61-year-old was one of the original ESPN personalities and one of the most well-respected journalists in the business. His passing came as a shock to everyone.  At this time, there are no details surrounding his death.

John, who is survived by his wife and two children, did hosting duties on programs such as "SportsCenter" and "The Sports Reporters."  He was an advocate for juvenile diabetes research and is a founding board member of the Jimmy V Foundation for cancer research.

John's fellow ESPN host and good friend Hannah Storm reported the heartbreaking news:

ESPN President John Skipper said in a statement:

“John was an extraordinary talent and his friendly, informative style has been a warm welcome to sports fans for decades. His wide range of accomplishments across numerous sports and championship events is among the most impressive this industry has ever seen. More importantly, John was a beloved and devoted family man who cared deeply about people and causes, as evidenced by his long-standing efforts as a passionate board member for The V Foundation for Cancer Research. He was one of the most significant and influential members of the ESPN family, as a colleague and mentor, and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this extremely difficult time.”

Saunders, who hosted and handled play-by-play for a variety of sports, joined ESPN in 1986 and was one of the company’s most tenured commentators.

Saunders was host of ABC’s Saturday studio coverage of college football and select editions of ESPN’s College Football Live and ESPN’s college basketball studio coverage. He hosted The Sports Reporters, the Sunday morning roundtable of sports journalists, since December 2001. In recent years, he also co-hosted NFL highlight segments on Sunday night editions of SportsCenter during the football season.

As part of his role in ESPN’s college football, Saunders anchored studio coverage from the College Football Playoff National Championship and hosted the postgame trophy presentation.

A former colleague and close friend of the late Jim Valvano, Saunders was a founding member and served on the board of directors for The V Foundation for Cancer Research, and was actively involved in many of the organization’s fundraising events and initiatives.

At ESPN, Saunders also called play-by-play for college basketball since 1990, WNBA from 1999-2001 and NBDL games in 2001. He hosted the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs (1993-2004), Baseball Tonight (1990-93), SportsCenter’s coverage of the Final Four (1991-93), the World Series (1990-92) and Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game (1990-92). He also hosted Rendez-Vous ’87, the two-game series between the NHL All-Stars and the Soviets, and occasionally hosted ESPN’s NHL telecasts in 1987-88.

Saunders’ work on ABC started in 1990, hosting NCAA basketball telecasts beginning that first year, college football telecasts since 1992 and NHL action (1993, 1999-2004). He served as a contributor to Wide World of Sports, beginning in 1990, and also provided play-by-play of NCAA basketball games (since 1992).

Saunders joined ESPN in December 1986 as a SportsCenter anchor. He came to ESPN from WMAR-TV in Baltimore, where he had worked since 1982 as an anchor of three daily sports reports. He also hosted the Baltimore Orioles pre-game program Orioles on Deck and provided analysis for Baltimore Colts preseason games. WMAR was honored by The Associated Press and UPI in 1983 and ’85 for having the best sportscast in Baltimore.

A native of Canada, Saunders called play-by-play for the Toronto Raptors on CKVR-TV and CITY-TV (1995-2001). He was the main sports anchor for CITY-TV in Toronto from 1980-82 as well as ATV News in New Brunswick (1979-80) and CKNY-TV in Ontario (1978-79). In 1978, he was the news director for CKNS Radio in Espanola, Ontario.

An all-star defenseman in the Montreal junior leagues, Saunders received a scholarship and played hockey at Western Michigan from 1974-76. He then transferred to Ryerson Polytechnical in Toronto, where he was an all-star on the Ontario University Athletic Association.

While attending school, Saunders provided news reports for CHOO-Radio in Ajax, Ontario, and continued to play hockey. Saunders’ brother, Bernie, played left wing for the Quebec Nordiques in the NHL from 1979-1981.

Saunders was an active mentor to young and aspiring journalists. Just last week, he spoke at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention in Washington, D.C.

Saunders is survived by his wife, Wanda, and two daughters, Aleah and Jenna.

The sports world expressed heart ache:

Stephen A. Smith broke down on "First Take" today as he had just gotten the news of his death. John was his mentor and father figure, and he revealed his health always ebbed and flowed after a bad fall years ago.

Michael Smith and Jemele Hill of "His and Hers" show spoke about John. Jemele actually did a panel with him this past Friday at NABJ. And she also revealed how much of a champion he was for her and other newer ESPN hosts. She emotionally expressed how amazing he was "to even care about her career," being in the top position he was in, and fight for the up and comers behind closed doors.

Michael became extremely emotional remembering seeing him at the ESPYs and regretting not spending even more time with him.

R.I.P. John Saunders, truly a class act.

The ladies of Team USA Gymnastics are still celebrating their huge win!  Get the latest inside....

While the men's gymnastics team may be struggling, the ladies are killing ish over in Rio.  Led by newbie Simone Biles -- whose perfect skills have the world in awe -- the ladies won the Gold in the Team Final the other night.

The scores for each rotation -- the beam, the uneven bars, floor exercise, and the vault -- were damn near perfect and far ahead of their competitors.  Alexandra Raisman, Madison Kocian, Lauren Hernandez, Gabrielle Douglas and Simone Biles of the United States lined up in front of the podium at the medal ceremony for the Artistic Gymnastics Women's Team Final in Rio Tuesday night, and they're still over the moon about it.  Rightfully so.

Simone shared a sweet post-Gold moment with coach Márta Károlyi, wife of the legendary coach Béla Károlyi. It's her last year coaching the team.

The selfie I get from my sis right after she competed even though I haven't even watched it yet on NBC . But anyways I am so proud of who you are and what you've accomplished. We were talking about this being a possibility a decade ago and to see it actually happen is too much for me to handle. It's blowing my mind how the same little girl I used to see doing flips on my bed at age 6 now has a gold medal. I have seen you deal with so much adversity with the sport over the last several years and to finally see your hard work culminate makes it all worth it. You're the toughest little 16 year old I've ever met and I'm not saying that just cause I'm a proud bro. Remember to give God his glory always! Love you sis and can't wait to see you kill it Monday as well. As soon as you land we're going straight to Wawa
