The 2016 Neighborhood Awards are currently going down in Vegas.  And Founder Steve Harvey is in the city cutting up at the MGM Grand with his friends and award nominees.

He did an interview with Ed Gordon before Ed caught up with Maxwell.

And Keith Sweat hit the stage on his birthday this weekend for the crowd.

Steve's pulling double duty in Vegas.  Not only is his awards show going down, but his frat Omega Psy Phi is having its convention, its 80th Grand Conclave.  So y'all know folks are on super turnt status.

All you comic book superhero fans get excited! We’ve got a special treat for you.

While Comic-Con is underway in San Diego, a new featurette was released and it stars none other than Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther! YAS!

The clip comes from the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray release of Captain America: Civil War, which will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the newest Avenger, Black Panther/T'Challa.

The clip is from the 60-minute, behind-the-scenes featurette titled “United We Stand, Divided We Fall – The Making of Captain America: Civil War Part 1 & 2” that explains the importance of Black Panther's role. It showcases how Marvel selected Black Panther and features interviews with all-star cast members who explain what it was like to welcome an all-new character to the MCU family.

Captain America is Black Panther's intro into the on-screen Marvel world before he gets his own Black Panther movie that will hit theaters February 16, 2018.

Comic fans can see the entire 60-minute special feature in the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray release of Captain America: Civil War when it hits shelves Sept. 13th, and elsewhere on Sept. 2nd.

We’ve talked about the new additions to the Black Panther cast before and now it’s official!

Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, CREED star Michael B. Jordan and "The Walking Dead" star Danai Gurira have joined the Black Panther cast. Director Ryan Coogler and Chadwick announced the news at Comic-Con yesterday during the Black Panther presentation inside Hall H.

Lupita is set to play Nakia, Michael will star as the villain Killmonger and Danai will play Okoye. Production is set to start in early 2017.

Black Panther will hit theaters February 16, 2018. Mark your calendars.

While Ryan is super busy with Black Panther, he's not to busy to lend his voice for a good cause....

Ava DuVernay, Ryan Coogler, LaLa Anthony, David Oyelowo and several others have teamed up to create a series of touching videos for Blackout for Human Rights’ new series “#MyLifeMatters.”

In the clips, black celebrities and influencers commemorate the victims of police brutality and violence by recounting their own life accomplishments and how if their lives had been taken away they never would have achieved them.

Volume 1 features Ryan Coogler and SELMA actor David Oyelowo that can be seen above.

Amber Rose is weighing in on the The Wests vs. Taylor Swift feud.

The kicker? She’s actually taking up for her ex-boyfriend Kanye West. The same Kanye West who dragged and slut shamed her in the media.

The budding actress dished her thoughts about the feud on her late night VH1 talk show on Friday. While she admitted she’s not the biggest fan of Ye (or his wife for that matter), it appears she’s taking his side in his feud with the Pop princess.

“I’m not the biggest fan of Kanye,” Amber started off saying. “But I will say this: I was next to him at the VMAs that year and … I remember the repercussions after that, she revealed after Kanye jumped on stage during the 2009 VMAs to interrupt her acceptance speech.

“I remember Taylor's mother and father coming up to us and saying, 'One day, Kanye, you'll have a daughter and somebody is going to do that to you.’ He was so remorseful. I mean he really felt so bad, because it wasn't about Taylor. It was about Beyoncé and her video ... he didn't want to interrupt Taylor – he didn't even know who she was at the time."

Amber went on to say she knows Kanye and she knows he wouldn’t want to make another huge mistake like he did at the VMAs.

"It was just a very hard time for him,” she recalled. “I watched people say that they did not want to work with him anymore because of it. … I know that Kanye would never ever go through that again by not calling Taylor and say, 'Heads up, I'm about to go write this verse real quick. Just wanted to make sure you're cool with it,’” Rose said. “I know that about Kanye."

Then, she went on to blast him for not calling her up to ask permission to use her likeness in the “Famous” video.

"So, I say all of that to say: Why didn't I get a phone call for using a naked wax figure in your video, Kanye?" I mean, Taylor gets a call but I don't get a call. Please stay the f*ck out of the news so I don't need to talk about your ass anymore."

Appreciate our players expressing themselves on matters important to them. Rescinding imposed fines to show them even more support.

The WNBA players who refused to have their voices silenced as they stood in solidarity with the #BlackLivesMatter movement just copped a major victory.

The WNBA has withdrawn its fines for teams and players that showed support of police brutality victims by wearing their black warm-up shirts before games. They also staged a media black out, refusing to speak to the media about basketball after their games.

The New York Liberty, Indiana Fever and Phoenix Mercury organizations were fined $5,000 each and each player was fined $500 for the uniform violation. By the way, the normal fine for uniform violations is $200.

WNBA president Lisa Borders released a statement (via ESPN) about withdrawing the fines against the organizations and players:

"While we expect players to comply with league rules and uniform guidelines, we also understand their desire to use their platform to address important societal issues," Borders said. "Given that the league will now be suspending play until August 26 for the Olympics, we plan to use this time to work with our players and their union on ways for the players to make their views known to their fans and the public."

She also released a tweet regarding the change (seen above).

"It's a huge win overall," said Fever All-Star Tamika Catchings, who is president of the players' union. "I think more than anything I told [Borders] at times you're going to agree to disagree. With this, I'm really proud of the players standing strong and for utilizing their voices. Change starts with us. We have a social responsibility as well."

Liberty player Tina Charles said she was happy the fines were rescinded but said it was embarrassing to have been fined in the first place.

"The only good thing that came out of it is that the 70 percent of the WNBA that are African-Americans are protected when the jerseys are on. We are united with police officers," she said. "When we take off our jerseys and we are out there, we could be next. "We were able to show our voice. People responding to me said you gained a fan, not because of what I do on the court, but the act I did. We have followers now because of who we are, not what we do."

So proud of them for taking a stand in spite of the repercussions!

After cutting up at the MGM to kick off his YBF weekend, TV and radio host Steve Harvey hosted his annual State Farm Neighborhood Awards at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas last night.

Every year, the show honors local businesses, religious/neighborhood leaders, churches, and high schools for their contributions as well as excellence within their own neighborhoods. Fans vote for their faves in the weeks leading up to the show and winners from the 12 categories are announced during the show.

Of course, Steve's wife Marjorie was there to show her support.

Several celebrities were tapped to present awards during the ceremony, including actress Wendy Raquel Robinson, singer Toni Braxton, TV personality Terrence J and comedian Sommore:

LaLa Anthony, French Montana, Scottie Pippen’s wife Larsa Pippen, Calvin Harris and Kim Kardashian West were amongst the party guests. They gathered around the birthday girl and her cake to wish her a happy birthday.

More sad news out of Florida this morning.  Details on another club shooting inside...

UPDATE (4:13p ET) Club Blu has seemingly removed its entire Facebook page.  Also, the police have put ut this official statement:

Two people are dead and between 14-16 have been injured after a shooting outside at Fort Myers, Florida's Club Blu Bar last night.  It was reportedly teen night and victims aged from 12-27.  Devastating.

A main suspect was apprehended about 6 miles from the club in the Ortiz neighborhood, two other suspects were also questioned.

A swimsuit glow party was happening when a gunned man came into the club's parking lot just after midnight and opened fire.  Parents and family were in the process of picking kids up as this occurred, so adults were around the club at the time. USA Today reports:

According to the Ft. Myers News-Press newspaper, a woman who identified herself as Adline Azemard said that a relative, 14-year-old Sean Archilles, was one of the two people killed.

"My cousin called and said Sean is dead," Azemard said. "We were at Lee Memorial (Hospital) all night, and they don't tell us nothing. They have a party for the kids."

Another woman, Emma Decimus, stood crying near the scene, mourning for Archilles, a nephew. "They saw him on the ground," she said of witnesses.

The shooting, which has been said to have not been done by any of the kids at the party, has not been tied to any terrorism effort.

NBC News reports:

The club said there was "armed security" at the event for children between the ages of 12 and 17, adding there "was nothing more we could have done." Although police did not immediately give information about the identity of the suspects, the club said that "it was not kids at the party that did this despicable act." 

According to local reports, the "Girls Gone Wild. No Panties Edition" was held a week before the "swimsuit glow party."

“Following the horrific news of a shooting at a nightclub in Ft. Myers, I spoke with Ft. Myers Mayor Randy Henderson, Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott and Ft. Myers Interim Police Chief Dennis Eads to offer any assistance from the state. I have cancelled my scheduled events today to meet with law enforcement and local officials in Ft. Myers. While we are still learning the details about what happened this morning, we know that some of the victims of this terrible incident were children. We will continue to pray for the victims and their families.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved and the family and friends of the victims.

YBF celebs are taking over Comic-Con sprinkling all that beautiful melanin in San Diego. Come inside to peep pics of Lupita Nyong’o, Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Will Smith, Viola Davis and more….

YBF A-listers were in full effect at the 2016 Comic-Con International convention over the weekend.

With the announcement that Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan and Danai Gurira are joining the Black Panther cast, the three actors joined Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman and director Ryan Coogler at Marvel Studios’ Black Panther panel in Hall H to help spread the word.

It was revealed Lupita is set to play Nakia, Michael will star as the villain Killmonger and Danai will play Okoye.

Yep, Black Panther will contain heavy melanin, as it should, and we’re here for ALL.OF.IT.!

After the announcement, the FAB new cast got busy snapping pics together and it has us wanting to see Black Panther that much more:

Production is set to start in early 2017 and the sci-fi drama is scheduled to hit theaters February 16, 2018!

All of the Marvel women were in the building to promote their new projects, including Zendaya and Laura Harrier, who’ll both star in Spider-Man Homecoming, and Zoe Saldana, who’s gearing up for her role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

While we knew Zendaya would be starring in the new Spider-Man reboot, her character has remained up wraps until now. While attending the film’s Comic-Con panel, it was revealed Daya will star as Michelle, one of Spider-Man’s teenage friends in the movie.

"My character is super dry and awkward, Daya told MTV. “It's great because it's who I am in real life, so I don't feel like I have to act too much."

The 19-year-old has been a Spider-Man fan since she was a little girl. Not only that, she revealed just how deep her connection to the superhero really is telling MTV,

"My first date I ever went on was to Spider-Man. It's special. I went when I just turned 16, finally was allowed to date. It was my first date and it was to see Spider-Man. So full circle!"

Zoe Saldana -- looking MILFy in all black -- was also on the Comic-Con scene for her upcoming movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. She’ll be reprising her role from the original flick.

While the new mom has been busy working on several new projects since giving birth to her twins Cy & Bowie, the Hollywood actress revealed last week that she has the autoimmune disease Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, requiring her to eat a gluten- and dairy-free diet.

Oscar nominated actor Chiwetel Ejiofor hit the stage to dish on Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange, where he will star as supervillain Baron Karl Mordo.

According to IMDB, "Doctor Strange" follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City's Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilising a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

The fantasy thriller will hit theaters November 4, 2016.

Will Smith and Viola Davis got to work signing autographs for fans who came out to hear about the upcoming DC Comics film Suicide Squad.

The antihero team linked up with their co-stars for a panel discussion about the upcoming thriller and to debut a new trailer. In the “Suicide Squad - Official Comic-Con Soundtrack Remix," we see Task Force X (aka Suicide Squad) do what they do with new footage set to the film’s soundtrack.

Michael Jordan is finally speaking out about the police brutality issues that are plaguing the country. Read his open letter inside….

NBA legend Michael Jordan has remained mum about the recent and previous shootings of black men at the hands of police. The black community definitely took notice as it's been discussed in multiple op-eds.

Now, the NBA Hall of Famer is breaking his silence following NBA stars Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paulpublicly speaking out.

In a statement released through The Undefeated this morning, MJ revealed he's troubled by the recent killings and has decided to donate money to the International Association of Chiefs of Police's newly established Institute for Community-Police Relations and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

He writes: 

As a proud American, a father who lost his own dad in a senseless act of violence, and a black man, I have been deeply troubled by the deaths of African-Americans at the hands of law enforcement and angered by the cowardly and hateful targeting and killing of police officers. I grieve with the families who have lost loved ones, as I know their pain all too well.

I was raised by parents who taught me to love and respect people regardless of their race or background, so I am saddened and frustrated by the divisive rhetoric and racial tensions that seem to be getting worse as of late. I know this country is better than that, and I can no longer stay silent. We need to find solutions that ensure people of color receive fair and equal treatment AND that police officers – who put their lives on the line every day to protect us all – are respected and supported.

Over the past three decades I have seen up close the dedication of the law enforcement officers who protect me and my family. I have the greatest respect for their sacrifice and service. I also recognize that for many people of color their experiences with law enforcement have been different than mine. I have decided to speak out in the hope that we can come together as Americans, and through peaceful dialogue and education, achieve constructive change.

To support that effort, I am making contributions of $1 million each to two organizations, the International Association of Chiefs of Police’s newly established Institute for Community-Police Relations and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. The Institute for Community-Police Relations’ policy and oversight work is focused on building trust and promoting best practices in community policing. My donation to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, the nation’s oldest civil rights law organization, will support its ongoing work in support of reforms that will build trust and respect between communities and law enforcement. Although I know these contributions alone are not enough to solve the problem, I hope the resources will help both organizations make a positive difference.

We are privileged to live in the world’s greatest country – a country that has provided my family and me the greatest of opportunities. The problems we face didn’t happen overnight and they won’t be solved tomorrow, but if we all work together, we can foster greater understanding, positive change and create a more peaceful world for ourselves, our children, our families and our communities.

Nice to see he's finally speaking up.  Some may wonder if speaking up after the recent backlash he caught could be a way to prevent an all out boycott.  Either way, we're happy he did it.

Over the weekend, the ladies hit up Kia Beach House in Malibu to chop it up about summer skin tips and make up trends with AJ Crimson Beauty.  LeToya was tapped to host the fab event.

Celebrity make up artist AJ Crimson was on hand for his fan appreciation party where guests were treated to refreshing cocktails and mini makeovers. There was also a session at the D.I.Y Foundation Matching Bar were AJ gave out quick make up tips and tricks to help the ladies perfect a flawless summer face beat.

The “Ballers” star kept it extra cute and comfortable styling in a white off-the-shoulder shirt paired with gold high-waisted shorts. Chick is looking tight and toned this summer sixteen thanks to her daily workouts that she likes to share on SnapChat.

LeToya had some fun trying out different shades and hues from the event's lip bar. We see there was plenty of eye-candy on the scene.

TheYBF.com has exclusively learned that Ed Hartwell has filed for divorce from Keshia Knight Pulliam after just eight months of marriage.  Details, plus what Ed has to say, inside....

We can't say we saw this one coming.

We've learned that former NFL linebacker Ed Hartwell filed divorce papers in a Fulton County, Georgia courthouse this morning.  He filed the divorce complaint under Edgerton Hartwell II and cited irreconcilable differences, "such as constant disagreements on life changing decisions that couples typically make together."

The decision to split comes less than eight months after his and wife Keshia Knight Pulliam's surprise New Year's Eve wedding.

We're told Keshia is not yet aware that he has filed for divorce.  She also has no idea Ed simply wants out of the marriage and to remain single.

The two having a few marital issues did not come as much of a surprise to those who are VERY close to the couple.  Sources tell us they noticed constant bickering going on. We're told an all out divorce, though, was unexpected. 

They have done a good job not to comment publicly on any problems.

At least one of the issues stems from Ed feeling like Keshia acts in a "spoiled" way, something he knew before he married her after four months of dating.  Apparently, he has a history of acting impulsively, i.e. that surprise wedding after just a few months of dating.

They did not spend his birthday together on May 7th.

Keshia recently revealed she's pregnant with her and Ed's first child, and it's a girl.  She is due January 2017.

Interestingly, Ed tells TheYBF.com via his rep, “Right now, the only thing I want is a paternity test for the baby.”

Wow.  We don't see this ending well, especially for Keisha who will likely be embarrassed since she doesn't usually air her dirty laundry publicly.

Keshia & Ed met while hitting the party circuit in Atlanta, and soon exchanged numbers during one event.  The rest was history.

R&B crooner John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen are currently enjoying a relaxing family vacay in St. Tropez. Chrissy has legs for days!

The trio went out for ice cream while hitting the retail scene trekking through the streets. Papa Legend cradled little Luna in his arms looking like the perfect doting dad.

Before she jetted off to St. Tropez with her family, Chrissy sat down with Kim Kardashian West to chat it up about her friendship with the reality star for her app. During the chat, she revealed she and John got into the BIGGEST fight ever during Kanye & Kim’s nuptials. She shared,

“John [Legend] and I got in the biggest fight at Kim and Kanye’s wedding that you’ve ever seen in your whole life,” Teigen said, adding that it “came from alcohol.”

That juice had them loose.

Looks like Jaden Smith and his girlfriend Sarah Snyder are still going strong. The twosome was spotted leaving model Gigi Hadid’s apartment in NYC over the weekend. 

This is the 2nd time we've seen Jaden walking around with some type of box held up to his ear like a phone. We're not sure what's that about.

After saying "I Do" a few weeks ago, Ciara and Russell Wilson are luxuriating on a tropical island for their honeymoon before Russell kicks off NFL training camp next week.

Baby Future joined his mother and step-dad for the fun. Russell posted up the shot with the caption,"These two are my inspiration. Pure Joy & Real Love. #GratefulHeart." How sweet.

The tiny tot had some fun on a hammock, sliding down the slide and counting to 10 in Spanish. Yep, Baby Future can count to 10 in another language at 2-years of age.

The Purple Unicorn was spotted in a silk yellow dress and black boots with her long purple tresses blowing in the wind. Over the weekend, she performed the National Anthem to kick off the Roc Nation Summer Classic Charity Basketball tournament.

That wasn't all she was up to over the weekend. The singer hit up a concert in Brooklyn to check out Nigerian artist Wizkid. He was tapped to perform at the One Africa Music Fest held at the Barclays Center. Now, dating rumors are swirling around.

Katt Williams can't stay his nutty self out of jail as he allegedly swings on a woman -- again.  Deets inside, plus Joe Budden chases down trespassers on his property, and it's all caught on camera. 

Oh Katt.  Another day, another gith where he tries to beat someone down or he gets beat down himself.

The comedian was arrested on Sunday for misdemeanor battery near Sherman Oaks, CA for allegedly punchin a waitress.  TMZ reports:

Law enforcement sources tell us cops responded Sunday morning to the Sportsmen's Lodge restaurant in Sherman Oaks after an employee alleged Katt had attacked her.

It's unclear what started the fight ... but we're told cops noticed visible minor injuries on the woman ... and she is requesting Katt be arrested for battery.

He was released on $20,000 bail late Monday.  Get your life together Katt.

In other news, now that Joe Budden & Drake are frenemies, their fans are getting involved.

A Drake fan ran up on Joe Budden....like, on his property...and taunted him.  Joe apparently has been having this done often.  Because after he pulled up to his home after being followed by the Drake fans, he went beserk.

The rapper was caught on video chasing the trespassers down and attacking them with rocks.  Ha!

And Drake fans have also stood outside his house singing Drizzy lyrics. He chased them down too.

When you have to put on your cape in the form of a royal blue custom Christian Siriano dress and metallic pumps to save the DNC (and this country) from itself....

Michelle Obama was picture perfect last night at the first night of the Democratic National Convention at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly.  While the last few days have been a complete circus with the Wikileaks drama spilling all the tea about how DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and co. really feel about Bernie Sanders, everyone needed a Kumbaya moment.

As Bernie supporters boo'd and protested -- loudly -- all night during the convention, the one time they held off was to watch the flawless First Lady give the most passionate speech of the night.

Mrs. O reminded us all that there's no need to MAKE America great again as it already is the greatest country in the world.    She also got emotional while talking about what President Obama did for black Americans' sense of hope and possibility with him winning the election twice, and also what the election of Hillary Clinton will do for women (especially First Daughters Sasha& Malia).

About all the Trump shade, she said "When they go low, we go high."

She reminded folks that the her family is living in a house built by slaves, and how that in itself shows the power of hope, change, and hard work as what those before us do always influence what we believe we can do.

First Lady Michelle made it known she respects Hillary Clinton for her non waivering, never rattled persona that is needed as President.  And, of course, she's with her.

'Someone who understands that the issues a president faces are not black and white and cannot be boiled down to 140 characters,'' she said. 'Because when you have the nuclear codes at your fingertips and the military in your command you can't make snap decisions.' 'You can't have a thin skin or a tendency to lash out,' she added. 'You see, Hillary understands that the President is about one thing and one thing only – it’s about leaving something better for our kids,'

Diggy Simmons is hitting the music scene with a brand new track.

The 21-year-old rapper serves up a melodic new track titled“Feel Like,” where he raps about what it feels like to be on top of the world and being independent. Sort of gives us a Drake vibe was he rap-sings over the track.

He raps:

The song, which is produced by Ayo, Keyz& EV, is the follow up to two tracks he released earlier this year called “The Climate” and “N.Y. State of Mind.”

We exclusively broke the story yesterday thatEd Hartwell filed for divorce.  Now, trusted sources are spilling tea about what went wrong.

Accusations of Ed allegedly cheating have surfaced, we've exclusively learned. 

While Keshia was blindsided by his divorce filing, apparently she was well aware of the issues the two have been having.

According to one source, Ed was engaged to a woman named Tonya Carroll before his quick engagement to Keshia.  He was allegedly still seeing her throughout the marriage.  Our trusted source says Keshia, who is four months pregnant, believes he cheated.

While Ed was out, Keshia was often home parenting his son he has with his first wife, Lisa Wu Hartwell, named EJ.  Lisa was often in L.A. filming "Hollywood Divas" and other projects.

We're told Keshia was great about her role as stepmom, and played it without being high maintenance. 

Interestingly, Ed has made it known he wants a paternity test for he baby Keshia is carrying.

Our source tells us, "If any paternity test needs to be taken it would need to be with a side chick and not Keshia."

What breakup? Blac Chyna silently responds to rumors that she and Rob Kardashian broke up. We’ve got the deets inside, plus video of Lil Scrappy getting down on his knee to ask Bambi’s hand in marriage…

The Internet has been going nuts over rumors that Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have broken up.

It all started when Rob erased all traces of his pregnant wife-to-be from his Instagram account. You’ll recall, Rob took a hiatus from social media, but returned once news broke that he was in a relationship with Chyna.

If you go on his IG account now, there’s nothing there. He erased everything.

Naturally, folks started speculating that their relationship is on the rocks. There were rumors that they had a big fight while recording for their upcoming reality show, Rob & Chyna.

A source tells US Weekly, it was just a fight and that they’re still happily together. "They didn’t break up; they had a fight,” the insider said. "They fought and then started talking again yesterday. It was just a fight."

A source tells PEOPLE something similar, revealing "They filmed over the weekend and had an argument. Rob tends to blow up and react very fast. ... They have rushed their relationship so much."

Chyna clapped back at the breakup rumors in her own way yesterday. While SnapChatting a make up “tutorial,” she flashed her huge engagement that’s still sitting pretty on her ring finger:

The future Mrs. Kardashian didn’t address the rumors, but it’s clear she’s letting the world know they are still together.

We told you“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Lil Scrappy proposed to his longtime girlfriend and co-star Bambi. And we even showed you the ring.

Now, there’s video of the actual proposal that aired during the season finale last night.

Scrappy gathered their closes friends, Tammy Rivera, Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, along with Bambi’s parents to prove he wants Bambi in his life forever. After asking Bambi’s mother for her blessing, Scrappy got down on one knee and asked Bambi for her hand in marriage.

Dr. Dre found himself in handcuffs in his driveway after an alleged confrontation with another motorist. Was he arrested simply because he’s black? Decide for yourself inside….

Dr. Dre found himself in handcuffs after a citizen’s arrest outside of his home following an alleged road rage altercation.

According to TMZ, an argument ensued after a man parked in front of Dre’s Malibu home as he was turning into his driveway. The Hip Hop mogul asked the man to move, in which the man complied. The thing is, the man reportedly started to yell and curse at Dr. Dre as he moved.

Dre decided to pull out his phone to record the altercation and the man reportedly responded, "Here we go again, another black guy with a gun."

Soon after, the unidentified man called L.A. County Sheriffs to report someone pulled a gun on him.

When police arrived, Dre was handcuffed and searched. The result? No gun. However, the motorist insisted on making a citizen’s arrest and filled out a report. Now, the paperwork will be sent to the district attorney who will ultimately decide if charges should be brought up against Dre.

Dre’s arrest comes amid reports that white people are calling the police on black people simply for being black. An unidentified police officer recently opened up about the numerous amounts of calls from white people complaining of “suspicious” people in their neighborhoods….who happen to be black.

We’re not taking up for Dr. Dre, but it does appear this arrest could be a case of a white person “fearing” a black person simply because of the color of their skin.

Senator Cory Booker is responding to Donald Trump’s cryptic tweet following his DNC speech last night. Find out how he responded to Donald’s political petty inside….

New Jersey Senator Cory Booker took the stage to deliver his speech to kick off the first day of the Democratic National Convention held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia last night.

Following his speech on love and equality, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump hit up Twitter to critique the Senator in a cryptic message.

He tweeted:

If Cory Booker is the future of the Democratic Party, they have no future! I know more about Cory than he knows about himself.

It’s unclear exactly what Trump was referring to, but the New Jersey Senator issued a response to his comment.

During an interview on CNN's New Day, the 47-year-old junior senator had the perfect response to Trump’s political petty.

“I’m gonna answer with love,” he said. “Let me tell you right now: I love Donald Trump. I don't want to answer his hate with hate. I’m going to answer it with love. I’m not going to answer his darkness with darkness. I love him. I know his kids, I know his family. They're good, the children especially, good people.”

In fact, Mr. Booker had nothing bad to say about Trump. He showered Trump with praises and love proving he can be the bigger person in the situation. He continued,

“I don’t care. I love you, Donald. I pray for you. I hope that you find some kindness in your heart, that you’re not going to be somebody that spews out insults to your political opposition, that you’re going to start finding some ways to love. I’m going to elevate him. I love you, I just don't want you to be my president. I don't want to you have the White House to be spewing that kind of mean-spirited hate that doesn’t even belong on a playground sandbox.”

Kill ‘em with kindness. Love Trumps Hate.
