Get caught up on every MET Gala look on the YBF celebs who nabbed an invite....
It's the biggest costume ball in the fashion world. The MET Gala marks the grand opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibit. As for this year's theme: “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.”
Here's how your faves interpreted it (or didn't interpret):
Beyonce brought her cakes to NYC during an off day on her Formation Tour. Draped in latex, her Givenchy look had everybody talking once again:
Body is SNATCHED.
Ciara rocked platinum silver hair for her look she created with H&M:
Regardless of whether you like the edginess, her glam and skin looked flawless.
Zoe Saldana took or breath away in this Stefano and Domenico creation for Dolce & Gabbana feathered extra dramatic frock:
Not sure if she and her husband Marco practiced these poses at home, but they nailed it.
Werk!
Kerry Washington held on to her baby bump on the red carpet as she rocked Marc Jacobs.
VOGUE named Kanye and Kim Best Dressed of the night, but we'd have to respectfully disagree. Kim rocked a heavy metal silver Balmain concoction. But we feel like we've seen it all before.
Except for these contacts. Alrighty 'Ye.
LaLa Anthony and Carmelo stayed on theme and took the drama factor up a notch. La rocked a gown by Nicolas Jebra.
Zendaya served up vintage wiggery in her Michael Kors look:
Chick knows how to slay.
Oh yes Idris Elba. The honorary co-chair of the event was dapper as usual.
will.i.am hid behind a visor for his look.
Some type of way Wiz Khalifa nabbed an invite.
Amandla Stenberg always steals our hearts with her young and carefree looks. And this one is no different. She collaborated with Calvin Klein for the fab red satin look.
Zoe Kravitz went for the masquerade look, ad nailed it. The movie star was in head to toe Valentino.
Cutie Michael B. Jordan rocked an interesting look.
Oh Nicki. She showed up in Moschino, and the label's designer Jeremy Scott had everyone in his designs looking straight out of the mental ward.
Including Madonna.
Odell Beckham Jr. likely got a personal invite from Ms. Anna Wintour herself. She seems smitten with the Giants baller.
Naomi never lets us down. Nobody rocks Cavalli like her.
The Weeknd was on hand to perform a few of his hits at the gala. He and his model girlfriend Bella Hadid showed up in head to toe black Givenchy.
The Smith kids looked more grown up and put together than ever for their first MET Ball appearance. Both rocked threads from the new fashion houses they've become faces of -- Chanel for Willow and Louis Vuitton for Jaden.
The gorgeous Jennifer Hudson, who was snubbed for a TONY earlier today, rocked a gown (with a 4 ft. train) that gave us wedding vibes.
She also collaborated with H&M on the creation.
Night time talk show host Trevor Noah looked handsome.
Nas looked sexy as always as he hit the carpet before performing with The Weeknd.
"How To Get Away With Murder" star Aja Naomi King gave marigold fabulousness by Prabal Gurung.
Rita Ora, who snapped a pic inside with Beyonce as she squashed those Becky rumors, rocked feathers as well. It's a Vera Wang creation, of course.
Misty Copeland was fresh off unveiling her new Barbie when shehit the red carpet in Jason Wu.
FKA twigs brought her man Rob Pattinson on the carpet. And yes, Rob's ex Kristen Stewart was indeed there as well.
Michael Strahan took a break from the daytime TV drama to stroll in on the carpet looking good.
Future rocked a white dinner jacket and tux look by Ermenegildo Zegna "Made-To-Measure" Couture.
TONY nominee Lupita Nyong'o had the most hair raising look of the night:
ALL the yeses! The dress, hair, skin, ALL OF IT.
And new TONY nominee Cynthia Erivo of The Color Purple went for a mixed print look by Coach and her Roger Vivier clutch.
Who was your fave of the night?
