Rapper Waka Flocka was performing in Seattle for the Dope Cup 2016 event (i.e. heaven for weed enthusiasts) the other night when ish went awry.

Since recreational weed use is legal in the state of Washington, y'all already know Waka acted the fool.  But it landed him in an ambulance.

Things are shaking up on daytime television! Michael Strahan is leaving “Live! With Kelly & Michael” to join the “Good Morning America” team full time. Deets inside….

One of the hardest working men in television is making some major moves.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan will be leaving “Live! With Kelly & Michael” for a full time position on “Good Morning America.” And he starts this September.

The 44-year-old athlete turned television personality will end his 4-year run as co-host to Kelly Ripa.

Before landing a full time position on “GMA,” Michael appeared on the early morning news show twice a week. He will remain a co-host on “NFL On FOX.”

In a press release, Michael sounds excited about his new venture saying, “I look forward to continuing to work with the incredible team at GMA. It is an exciting opportunity to be able to bring unique stories and voices to the audience.”

He added, “My time with LIVE with Kelly and Michael has been transformative, and my departure will be bittersweet. Kelly has been an unbelievable partner, and I am so thankful to her and the entire team. I am extremely grateful for the amazing support I've received from all of the fans."

Sweet!

Michael is leaving the show on a high note. “Live!” is the No. 1 entertainment daytime talk show in households and the key demographic of women 25-54. The show comes in the No. 2 spot among syndicated talk show, coming in after Dr. Phil. He will be joining another hit daytime show as “GMA: is the No. 1 morning program.  Options on fleek!

The former NY Giants baller won his first Daytime EMMY Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Hosts.

We also are hearing rumors on who could replace Michael. Sources tell one site that CNN host Anderson Cooper, who is also one of Kelly's best friends, is in the running to be the replacement.

The source says,“Anderson Cooper is the shows top choice to replace him. Kelly adores Anderson and she is pushing hard to get him the job. He can still work at CNN but will no longer be able to travel. He had his own morning show and knows how to do this. They are trying to lock down a deal.”

Bawdy, cut-outs and high buns! The TV personality-turned-actress looked smoking hot on the red carpet before heading inside Balthazar for dinner. The “Power” actress slipped into a black one-shouldered side slit Balmain dress for the film festival festivities.

Since the Knicks didn't make it to the playoffs, Melo has some extra time on his hands to spend some QT with his wife. The happy couple, celebrating 12 years of marriage, color coordinated their All Black Everything outfits.

The Anthonys were joined on the carpet by “Ray Donovan” star Katie Holmes.

The two moms shared a few laughs as they made their way down the carpet. Fun times.

By the way, LaLa will return to the small screen this summer to reprise her role in the hit STARZ crime drama "Power," premiering this July.

After making rounds at Cochella over the weekend, YBF actress Zoe Kravitz jetted back to the east coast and popped up at the Tribeca Film Festival to attend the Vincent N Roxxy premiere held at Chelsea Bow Tie Cinemas last night. Damon Dash is opening up about his last conversation with his ex-girlfriend Aaliyah before her untimely death. Find out what he said, plus, peep flicks of Christina Milian and Laverne Cox filming a new movie inside….

Hip Hop mogul Damon Dash is currently starring on VH1’s “Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn” along with his brother Jeremy and Bobby to work through issues that has caused them to have a volatile relationship over the years. So, he stopped by “The Real” today to chop it up with the ladies about it all.

In one scene on the reality show, Dame opened up about why the death of his mother, as wel as his late girlfriend Aaliyah, turned him into a monster. When asked if he could have possibly been on the plane that killed the “Rock The Boat” songstress back in 2001, Dame revealed had he been with Aaliyah, they would have never gotten on that plane.

He explained:

“Well, there is no chance that if I was there, we would have been on that plane. You know what I’m saying? So, it would have never happened that way. Um, you know, Aaliyah and I was in Miami and she was shooting a video in Miami. And I was in Miami with uh State Property. And she was gonna do a record with Freeway and you know, Hype had decided that he wanted to take the video to the Bahamas. And my son had a football game and I had to go back to New York for court. And I had all my nephews with me as well 'cause I used to roll with them. ‘Cause you know, I’m a single father and I had my son Boogie since he was eight. You know what I mean, I had to go to court and get him whatever. So my whole world kind of revolved around him, so I broke out to go back to New York"

The Hip Hop entrepreneur added he advised Aaliyah not to go to the Bahamas when she hit him up with concerns about the plane. He continued:

"She told me she was going to the Bahamas and I was against it like, “Yo, don’t go.” And then down to the last, we had the Blackberry, down to the last Blackberry that we had, before she went there, she was like, “Yo, I don’t like that plane.” And I was like, “Don’t get on it.” And she was just like, “You know, I gotta do it.” You know, it was a complicated situation, but she had to go do that video. So you know if I was there, I would have made sure that that jet that was supposed to be for her, the g4, she would have been on that. I wouldn’t have got on that plane, you know what I’m saying? So it probably would have been different. But you know um, everything happens for a reason. You know, and what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and you just gotta deal with the cards that life deals you.

Wow. Makes you wonder would things have been different if Dame was there.

Maybe the EMMY nominated actress didn’t feel camera ready because once she spotted the paparazzi, she jetted back inside of her hotel and came out rocking a face visor a la V. Stiviano.  Remember her?! Ha! Chick was over it.

Anika Noni Rose, Nicole Beharie and Jesse Williams just signed on to star in some new projects. Deets inside….

YBF actress Anika Noni Rose just signed on to star in an upcoming BET drama. The Tony Award winner, who’s gearing up to premiere as Kizzy in the History Channel’s "Roots" remake, nabbed the lead role in the 2-hour scripted pilot, The Yard.

According to Deadline, Anika will play Eva, the newly elected President of the fictional college Georgia A&M. The site reports Eva will join the campus to find a bold, brazen and diverse freshman class that promises to keep her hands full.

The cast includes “Vampire Diaries” star Jasmine Guy, “Castle” star Ruben Santiago-Hudson, and “General Hospital” star Sean Blakemore. Yes to YBFers getting work!

Filming has already started in Atlanta. No word yet on when the film will be released.

By the way, Anika will be guest starring on the hit STARZ series “Power” when it returns for its 3rd season this July.

In other movie news...

Former “Sleepy Hollow” star Nicole Beharie (who was just killed off the show) and “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jesse Williams will be joining Michael Ealy on a new project. The actors are set to join the upcoming remake of the 1990 psychological horror thriller Jacob’s Ladder, which will be helmed by director David M. Rosenthal.

Yes, YBF peeps in a horror flick. If Michael Ealy is as creepy as he was in The Perfect Guy, we’re so here for it.

That  "27 Questions Black People Have For Black People" video BuzzFeed made recently has folks going HAM on the list loving, viral video company.  Now, one of the company's black employees is speaking her piece about the controversy.  Get it inside...

Here's the backstory:

Black Twitter and plenty of black folks everywhere were NOT pleased with Buzzfeed's new "27 Questions Black People Have For Black People" video.  If anything, it was tone deaf and unnecessary.  Questions from "Why do we call each other the N-word, but get vehemently upset when a white person uses the N-word?" to "Why do we think people with light skin look better than people with dark skin?" had folks were extra pissed. 

So "they" dragged BF for filth on every social media platform and think piece you could find.

For instance, Awesomely Luuvie writes:

Where other videos they created were thoughtful, nuanced and smart, this one was foolish, trite and a waste of time.

Every one of the people in this video come across as people who are trying to let white people know that “I love my people but I’m not like many of them” is a defining core value in their lives. What the world needs LESS of are Black people who are NOT unabashedly proud to be Black. What we need less of are new negros who love seeing themselves as exceptions to the rule.

At NPR, Leah Donella wrote the questions "rest on seriously flawed premises." She continued:

"Many of the questions seem to presuppose that blackness exists in a vacuum, and that the actions, beliefs and perceptions of black people haven't been shaped by, say, housing segregation, mass incarceration, poverty, underfunded schools and the like,"

BF issued an "apology" after getting shot up on social media worse than Cleo literally got shot up in "Set It Off" and said:

"We've heard your concerns about last week's video. We made a mistake, and want to get better at earning the trust of our black audience," the site tweeted Monday.

Despite their "apology," they weren't sorry enough to remove the video.  We wouldn't expect them to.  Ad revenue generated from the controversy they create is seemingly more important to them.  At least that's what we've witnessed first hand on a different ocassion.

Fast forward to minutes ago when Quinta Brunson, one of our fave BF actors back when we watched BF's vids, spoke her piece.  She said:

When someone thought she was saying the video should be OK because black people were behind it, she responded:

So, tell us your thoughts.   Still side eyeing BuzzFeed and their "apology"?  Or, is this all much to do about nothing?

Kanye West had time, so he brought the petty during an appearance on Khloe Kardashian’s now cancelled show “Kocktails With Khloe.” Find out how he shaded his wife Kim Kardashian West’s marriage to ex-husband Kris Humphries and how North West delayed his Pablo disc inside….

It appears Kanye West is coming after the "King of Petty" crown. He reminded us how petty he can get during a Twitter roasting of Wiz Khalifa a few months ago. Now he’s taking his pettiness to TV.

The Life of Pablo rapper is set to appear on his sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian’s now cancelled show “Kocktails With Khloe” (after 1 season) alongside his wife Kim Kardashian West and new parents John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. (FYI - The show was taped before Chrissy gave birth to their baby girl Luna).

Before the show airs tomorrow, a few sneak peek clips have surfaced and Ye is being typical…Ye.

In one clip, the “Bound 2” rapper shades his wife’s previous marriage to NBA baller Kris Humphries. He revealed the only reason he finally decided to get a cell phone was to contact Kim after he learned via the internet she had married the NBA player.

He said, “I got a phone because someone decided to marry Kris Humphries.”

John Legend chimed in saying, “And then you got one and the only number that you called was…”

Ye continued,“I wasn’t up to anything and there was Kim 'Kar-di-john' with some extremely tall person and I was like ‘I need to call her or something.' So, I started sending her pictures of certain basketball players that use to be cool that now where their pants all the way up here…like this is your future!”

So it seems, Ye had plenty to do with Kim’s 72-day marriage. Mmhmm…

In another sneak peek clip, Kim shared a story about how their daughter North West helped in the delay of Yeezy’s new album, The Life of Pablo. She said Kanye had written many of his raps for the album in his iPhone. Unfortunately, Nori got a hold of his phone and FLUSHED it down the toilet. Oops! They said they tried to get the information retrieved by sending it to four different places, but had NO luck.

Ye said, “No Apple genius is genius enough.”

It's the first look at little Luna Stephens!  See her inside...

Chrissy Teigen just posted the first peek of her and John Legend's newborn daughter Luna Stephens, whom she already nicknamed "Lulu."

Recently a "source" close to the couple described the couple's first days with Luna telling E! News:

"John and Chrissy are in such a joyful place with their healthy baby girl Luna.  They are surrounded by family and close friends. Chrissy and John can't stop gushing over Luna. She is perfect!"

Chrissy's mom has also moved in with the couple.

As for who the little princess favors:

"Luna looks like a mini Chrissy and has some of John's features. Luna has cute round cheeks and looks like a baby model already.  They are not looking to get her into modeling anytime soon."

The parents seem to be holding up well these first few days:

"This is the best time in their lives. They are natural parents. They look at Luna as a blessing cause it was not an easy road having a baby. John sings to Luna all the time. This whole experience is stirring up some new music for John. Luna is an inspiration to them both."

And model Chrissy's focus is doing all those middle of the night wake-ups, not necessarily on getting her body to snap back immediately:

"Sleeping schedules have been off and hard on them, but they want to be with Luna every time she opens up her eyes, so they are working together. They are very hands-on parents. Chrissy naturally dropped weight already since she had the baby. She is breastfeeding. She will start working out soon once she feels up to it."

Usher transformed into boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard for his powerful role in Hands of Stone. 

His co-stars are Jurnee Smollett who plays Leonard's wife Juanita Leonard, and "House of Cards" star Reg E. Cathey who will play Don King.

Here's the synopsis:

HANDS OF STONE follows the life of Roberto Duran (Edgar Ramirez), the Panamanian fighter who made his professional debut in 1968 as a 16 year‐old and retired in 2002 at the age of 50. In June 1980, he defeated Sugar Ray Leonard (Usher Raymond) to capture the WBC welterweight title, but shocked the boxing world by returning to his corner in their November rematch, famously saying the words “no mas” (no more.)

Usher told Men's Health magazine recently about why he likely won't get an Oscar for this role, and why he's ok with that.  He said:

 "I don't know if this is the one that would win me an Oscar or not. I'm going into it offering my interpretation and my hard work and my dedication to be the best Sugar Ray ever. Or as good as the man can be. I've spoken to him, and I don't know if I'll ever be able to live up to him. But I'll try to be better than him."

"Hands of Stone" will be released August 26.

Speaking of Usher:

He just stamped his passport in Cuba, all thanks to President Obama.  The White House sent a group of actors/singers/photographers/etc. to the country to strengthen relations and to explore via the arts and humanities committee formed.

Usher, Smokey Robinson, and a few others began a four-day visit to Cuba on Monday as a sign of a promising future between the two countries.

Usher has been sharing his fab pics and saying:

Cuba memories from yesterday! Breakfast at 5:01 am. Hot ass car at 1:06 pm. Dave Matthews and I after the cultural center 3:28 pm. Dinner at El Del Frente with the squad at 8:25pm

He also commented:

Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West are celebrating Kourtney Kardashian’s birthday with The Dream in Iceland. Come inside to peep their snowy pics, plus, Lamar Odom’s SnapChat debut….

While most of us are anxious for some warm weather, Kanye West, his wife Kim Kardashian West and The Dream have trekked it to winter-like conditions to celebrate Kourtney Kardashian’s birthday.

Yezzy -- who looks like he's about to throwdown on some construction -- jetted to Iceland after making a surprise appearance at Coachella during A$AP Rocky’s set to celebrate his sister-in-law’s 37th birthday.  The Dream tagged along with them.  We hear he's there to shoot a video with 'Ye, but the rumor is unconfirmed for now.The foursome took a helicopter ride to the top of a glacier for a few pics.

Speaking of their helicopter ride, Kanye, Kim and Kourtney had a bit of a scare as they made their way to the top of the glaciers a few days ago. They had to make an emergency landing on a golf course after a seatbelt was hanging outside of the helicopter that made a rattling noise. The pilot hopped out, put the seatbelt back inside and they continued their excursion.

An epic moment is happening.  The first woman to cover U.S. currency will be Harriet Tubman, this according to credible sources close to the U.S. Treasury.  All the details inside...

For the past several months, there has been a debate about who should replace Alexander Hamilton on the $10 bill.  The U.S. Treasury agreed that it should be a woman, and today, there's been a slight change.

Last month, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced this week that Hamilton will remain on the $10 bill (likely due to fierce push-back stemming from the popularity of the Broadway production of Hamilton) and Andrew Jackson will be pushed off the $20 instead.

Today, reports are breaking that the woman who will replace Andrew Jackson is iconic abolitionist Harriet Tubman.  This.Is.BIG.

Harriet Tubman, reportedly born as Araminta Ross, is arguably one of the most gangster figures of the Civil War, stealthily escaping her slave masters in Maryland and making her way to Philadelphia.  She returned several times to save her family and groups of slaves via a network of safe havens and roads deemed "safe."  This "underground railroad" was the means for leader Tubman to risk her life to help other slaves live theirs as free people.

She continued guiding slaves to freedom despite bounties being placed on her head bu irate slave owners and the Fugitive Slave Law.  When the U.S. Civil War began, she also worked as a cook, a nurse, and eventually an armed Union spy.

According to Politico, there will be more changes:

Lew is expected to roll out a set of changes that also include putting leaders of the women’s suffrage movement on the back of the $10 bill, and incorporating civil rights era leaders and other important moments in American history into the $5 bill.

There's also a possibility Jackson will remain on the back of the $20 bill.  Sources close to the Teasury said new designs for the bills should be ready by 2020.

Hollywood actress Lynn Whitfield just nabbed a new magazine cover and the timeless beauty is simply stunning!  Not looking much different than her days torturing Martin Lawrence on screen in Thin Line Between Love & Hate.

The YBF actress, who’s celebrating her 63rd birthday next month, is serving style and grace on SHEEN magazine’s May/June 2016 Exotic Travel issue. And the beautiful printed dress she’s rocking is the perfect ensemble to set off the summer.

Inside, Lynn, who’s starring in the new OWN show “Greenleaf,” shares her views on her distinguished career, new TV show on OWN and diversity issues in Hollywood.

Touching on diversity in Hollywood, she said, “I am more concerned about them giving our work distribution, about it being seen by people, and I think that is more important that we continue to be prolific in our cinematic expressions.”

As for her new acting gig, Lynn will play Lady Mae Greenleaf, First Lady of Calvary Fellowship World Ministries in the drama series based on a Memphis megachurch. Media mogul Oprah Winfrey also stars in the series along with Merle Dandridge and Keith David.

The series is set to premiere with a two-night premiere on Tuesday, June 21st at 10pm EST and Wednesday, June 22nd at 10pm EST on OWN. The show will then air at its regularly scheduled time slot on Wednesdays at 10pm EST. Peep the trailer below:

So much for Michael Strahan's departure from "Live" being mutually bittersweet for him and his co-host Kelly Ripa. It seems to be ALL bitter for Kelly as reports say she was totally blindsided by his announcement! That may explain why she was no-show for work today. Deets inside...

After riding high on the news of him joining the's #1 morning show "Good Morning America" full time, Michael Strahan is in some hot water today.  Reportedly, his fellow "Live!" host Kelly Ripa was blindsided by the news that he was leaving their show and she found out with everyone else.  Ouch!

A source close to The Wrap says Michael's new deal came together in only the last five days:

“This came together very quickly.  I don’t think they told [Kelly Ripa] everything,” the source added, saying it was not the first time Ripa had been kept “in the dark.”

Damn.

The Wrap continued:

"[Michael] wanted to make the move,” the source said, adding that Strahan, who has been a frequent “GMA” guest in the past two years, wanted the opportunity to pursue a greater range of stories and topics than he could pursue on “Live.”

Seeing that Michael was doing part-time co-hosting on "GMA" this past year or so, it seems pretty obvious he was testing to be full time on the morning show. So it's unclear why the move would be such a surprise to his "Live" family, unless Kelly wasn't told anything at all about the final decision.

Then there's this:

There may be tension on set as well. “Kelly has been very moody and emotional the past couple of years and Strahan was dreading going to work,” said one high-ranking daytime TV veteran who insisted on anonymity.

Hmmm...

E! News reports Kelly and other key staffers were kept in the dark to prevent leaks. And here's how they found out:

About an hour after LIVE! With Kelly and Michael aired Tuesday, an internal memo at ABC revealed he would be leaving the show by summer's end to work on Good Morning America full-time. His co-host, Kelly Ripa, did not receive a heads up. In fact, E! News has learned that executives broke the news to her just after the show finished taping—around the same time everyone else first heard about it. "She was livid," a source says exclusively. "It wasn't pretty."

Strahan joined Ripa and others in the meeting. "He wanted to be there. He didn't have to be, but he didn't want to have her hear it and not be there," the source says. "He tried to do the stand up thing." Strahan, who replaced Regis Philbin in 2012, has been a correspondent on ABC's Good Morning America since 2014. When executives decided to move him to the news show full-time, they intentionally kept Ripa and others key staff members in the dark to prevent leaks. "That was a network decision," the source says, adding that it was a carefully executed plan. "It wasn't an overnight decision and took some time to put it in place."

This morning, Kelly was a no-show at work.  Actress Ana Gasteyer filled in for her, but it's unclear if this as a pre-scheduled absence or an emergency.  The show's publicist refused to comment in detail.  Based on the alleged drama, we're going with Kelly just wasn't feeling being at work with Michael today.

Interestingly, Michael started off the show telling the audience he would be leaving the show this September.  He waited until the end of the show to thank Kelly saying:

"I really want to thank, of course, Kelly Ripa, because Kelly welcomed me here and I've learned so much from her, and she's just been an amazing influence on me. This has truly changed my life to be here with her, and I know that the show will continue to be strong and great because of Kelly...Kelly, I thank you. I love you and everyone else here at LIVE!."

We watch this show daily, and they are BIG on long, drawn out good-byes.  So a quickie good-bye from Michael on a day Kelly isn't even there, it does seem a bit off.

These next few months should be interesting...

A king ready to wed his queen!

Seattle Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas trekked down the aisle in a royal wedding ceremony to marry his high school sweetheart Nina Heisser Thomas over the weekend.

The happy couple, who share a daughter named Kaleigh (above), tied the knot at the luxurious Chateau Cocomar, a $10 million European-inspired estate, in Houston.

The former Texas Longhorns safety certainly dressed the part, donning a cape, a crown and Christian Louboutin shoes for the special occasion. It’s not often we see a groom rock a crown during nuptials, but it’s cute.

Their adorable daughter Kaleigh stole everyone’s heart as she stepped down the aisle in her gorgeous dress as a junior bride's maid. How cute.

Earl's teammate Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson brought his fiancée Ciara along to celebrate the joyous occasion. The happy couple snapped it up with the newly wedded couple’s daughter.

Tennis superstar Serena Williams and Grammy Award winning singer Janet Jackson are teaming up with LIFETIME for a few new movies made FOR women and BY women.

LIFETIME has come up with a new united front for the 2016-2017 slate called The FEMPIRE, which will be dedicated to entertaining and engaging the next generation of feminists by creating content for women, by women, about women. We’re totally here for it!

The 21-time Grand Slam champion will be executive producing a new movie with the working title, Sister Dance, inspired by her own relationship with her sister VenusWilliams. The movie will follow two sisters who become rivals once they pit themselves against each other and their respective dance teams in an epic dance battle, according to the press release. Back in the day, Serena and Venus had their own dance competitions that got pretty heated.

It will be fun to see some insight into how Serena and Venus interacted with one another when they were kids. They’re so close now.

Also coming to the network…

R&B singer Janet Jackson is set to put on her executive producer hat for a new film with the working title Queenie. It tells the story of the 1920’s New York City mobster named Queenie, who was the first and only woman gangster during the prohibition. The film will be set against the backdrop of The Cotton Club and Kenny Leon (A Raisin in the Sun) will direct.

Lastly, former R&B singer/reality star Michel’le will tell her life story in The Michel’le Story (working title). The show details the life of R&B singer Michel’le, who was discovered at a young age by Easy E and became a platinum artist on Ruthless Records. The R&B songstress, who was Dr. Dre’s girlfriend for more than a decade and later married to Suge Knight, was there for N.W.A.’s wild ride, with all of its dramatic ups and down. This got our attention.

We’ll be sure to give you the deets on the premiere dates once they become available.

Also on the movie front....

Hollywood legend Denzel Washington is going to the Wild, Wild West for The Magnificent Seven reboot. He’ll be reuniting with Training Day director Antoine Fuqua where he and actor Chris Pratt (along with the rest of the cast) take out their targets as gun slinging bounty hunters.

Deadline gives a synopsis of the film:

With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns: Sam Chisolm (Washington), Josh Farraday (Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown they know is coming, the mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.
