Jay Z is pissed at the former Tidal owners and accuses them of inflating subscriber numbers before last year's sale.  Find out why he's likely suing, plus new music updates from Puffy, Ice Cube and Common...

After pouring $56 million into the purchase of TIDAL, Hov believes the former owners may have cooked the books when it comes to the true number of subscribers.

Shawn "Jay Z" Carter purchased the Euro music streaming site through his own Project Panther Bidco Ltd. company.  Recently, Panther sent out a  letter to former owners, including Norwegian media group Schibsted ASAand Swedish private-equity fund Verdane Capital, basically scolding them for inflating subscriber numbers.

Wall Street Journalreports:

In a letter sent to Tidal’s former owners, Jay Z’s firm said: “Panther has learned that the actual number of subscribers at that point in time was significantly lower and that the amount represented in the due diligence documents were greatly overstated.”

Tidal, which now has over 3 million subscribers, feels like they got the short end of the stick and faced an uphill battle without realizing it.  The former owners say otherwise.

Both rejected accusations of misrepresentation, saying Tidal’s parent company, Aspiro Group AB, had been listed in Stockholm ahead of the sale and had reported its financial data in line with regulations.

“We disagree with the accusations in the letter and any potential claims,” a Schibsted spokesman said Friday. “The buyer also did a due diligence of the company. It is worth noting that this was more than one year ago.”

Tidal confirms they sent "legal notice" to the previous owners, but did not divulge details of said notice.  According to unconfirmed reports, it's a $15 million lawsuit.

Tidal said an audit showed that the total number of subscribers was “well below the 540,000 reported to us by the prior owners.”  Hmph.

Word has it, Jay and co. want to now expand Tidal into the movie streaming business.

Just one day after Puffy announced the Bad Boy Family will reunite at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on May 20th, he drops the new video for his "You Could Be My Lover" track off his #MMM album. Diddy, Ty Dolla $ign, Gizzle do 90's video things at a 90's like Diddy house party to the 90's feel song.

TV host Rocsi and "Big Rich Town" singer Joe have been keeping their relationship totally under wraps.  But we did catch them shopping it up together in L.A. last July, which made our eyes and ears perk up.

The most fabulous black women in the game came out to celebrate their fabness at Black Girls Rock Friday night.  Everyone slayed up and down the carpet for Beverly Bond's 10-year-anniversary for her event. We've got the red carpet round up inside....

All that melanin lit up the red carpet last night at Jersey's NJPAC.  The evening was all about honoring black girls who put in work -- socially, musically and more.  Plenty YBF chicks (and a few supportive males) came out to shower the honorees with awards, tributes and respect. Fab.

Kelly donned an all white jumper while showing off her tight and toned snapback bod.  Obsessed with this look.

Monica, who performed during the show, brought her daughter Laiyah on the carpet.  She rocked a luxe green velvet maxi skirt and black lace body suit, both from Balmain, and shoes by Sophia Webster.

Monica called little Lay "the perfect date" and said about Kelly,"I absolutely love this woman."  Awww.

Tatyana Ali rocked a curve hugging Zac Posen dress that hugged her baby bump.  It's the newly engaged actress' first red carpet pics with her baby bump and engagement ring on full display, and she's glowing!

Model and "Born Again Virgin" star Eva Marcille also rocked a jumpsuit, but she kept hers olive colored and skin tight with a duster coat with exaggerated shoulders.  It all works.  Both pieces are from House of Cb while her clutch is from Joyrich LA, all topped off with an Alexander McQueen scarf.  Great look for her.

The YBF set topped off a busy event-filled weekend at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.  We've got full coverage from the red carpet to personal pic stashes inside...

A night filled with awards for those who have ruled the airwaves over the past year describes last night's event.  The iHeartRadio Music Awards also brought out those heavy on the music scene.

KeKe Palmer showed up in a vintage style blue sequin halter dress and silver sandals.  She topped off her look with a purple lip and a top knot.  While she definitely gets an A for effort, we're not totally sold on the look:

"Extra" host Mario Lopez still made sure to snap a pic with the Brotherly Love and "Scream Queens" star.

According to Gilbert Arenas, the wedding is still going down.  And he would know because he says he's going to the bachelor party.  He told media yesterday, while hitting up the Clippers game, that the two will be "just fine" by the time the wedding rolls around.  He would know -- he and Laura Govan are the king and queen of breakups to makeups.

The relatively private power couple has yet to give each other a public anniversary shout out, but the "Formation" singer did speak about their closeness in her 204 mini-doc "Yours & Mine":

"You know, everybody's not good at everything. It's OK to depend on someone; it's actually what we're supposed to do," she says. "We're supposed to depend on each other, and when you find the person that you trust and you love and that you feel that is going to respect you and take all of the s*** that you have and turn it around and bring out the best in you, it feeds you. It is the most powerful thing you can ever feel in your life. ... One thing that's for sure: The love that I have for music, for my husband, for my child, is something that will last far beyond my life."

Tisha Campbell-Martin and husband Duane Martin are reportedly in a financial mess.  The bankruptcy docs -- and everything they owe -- have surfaced, now Tisha's responding...

Damn! Actors Tisha & Duane Martin have US stressed just from reading how much they allegedly owe folks, just from reading the court docs.

The "Dr. Ken" star and her "Real Husbands of Hollywood" husband filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on January 7th in US Bankruptcy Court in California.

According to the court documents, they owe over $15 million to creditors.  $15,145,387 to be exact.   Not sure how things will get paid back when The Martins reportedly...allegedly...have only $200 in cash on hand and $173 in a credit union.  We'll assume there are other accounts not accounted for, maybe?

While both have jobs on current tv shows, the Daily Mail reports their joint monthly income is $7,655 while their monthly expenses are around $16,953. That doesn't seem to add up, but who knows.

As for how their total bill of what they owe folks made it to over $15 million, allegedly, here's what Daily Mail reports via court docs they owe for 3 of their 5 vehicles, vendors for their restaurant, household goods, tax debt, student loans, home loans and more:

The couple own a 2014 Range Rover, 1999 Kawasaki Drifter, 2004 Yamaha Scooter, 2016 Range Rover and 2016 Jeep Wrangler.

Other assets include $15,000 in household goods, $2,500 in electronics, $2,500 in sports and hobby equipment, $1,000 in clothing and $2,500 in jewelry.

The documents list the value of their two dogs as $2.

The court documents reveal they owe $208,611 in tax debt and $113,000 in student loans.

The couple’s liabilities include $3 million to Broadway Federal Bank for a personal guaranty for a real estate loan they took out, $9.5 million to the City of Los Angeles for a personal guaranty, $82,000 in back state taxes for 2005 & 2011, $86,000 to New York State Department of Taxation and $30,000 to the State Board of Equalization.

They also owe $43,000 on the 42 month lease for the 2016 Range Rover, $17,000 on the 2016 Jeep Wrangler, $67,000 on their 2014 Range Rover, 39,000 to American Express, $455,000 to City National Bank, $538,000 to Comerica Bank for a judgement against them and $120,000 to a law firm.

In addition, their debts include $17,000 to Sallie Mae for a student loan they took out for their nephew, $2,500 to United Valet related to Xen Restaurant in Los Angeles, $500,000 to their company XE Visions for loans given along with $400,000 to a company named Money Real Estate.

As for Tisha's job on "Dr. Ken," she reportedly said she's not sure if she will be asked back.

While all of this seems pretty dismal for the couple, Tisha seems to be keeping an upbeat spirit tweeting this afternoon:

Adrienne Bailon is speaking out for the first time about the drama surrounding her realtionship with gospel artist Israel Houghton.  Find out why she says she's being judged unfairly inside...

Last month, "The Real" co-host Adrienne Bailon was spotted on a romantic vacay with Joel Osteen's employee and gospel artist Israel Houghton.  It got the saints to talking.  Why?  Because just one month prior, he came out about his marriage with his wife of two decades being newly dissolved.  He also admitted to cheating on her five years ago.

Naturally, many believed it was Adrienne, who has known Israel for a few years and recently broke up with her fiance Lenny Santiago, who as the homewrecker. 

But Adriennne says that's not the case.  And people on the internets need to stop wrongfully dragging her.

On tomorrow's episode (Tuesday, April 5th) Adrienne confirms that she is dating the Christian music artist after a year of being single, and sets the record straight to say that she was not the cause of Houghton’s divorce saying:

"....this man pictured here is not married. Praise God!"

She continued explaining that she didn't even know Israel five years ago, which is when Israel claims he cheated.:

"He is single, number one. And I think the other thing that people were saying was that I was the cause of his divorce. Which I think any divorce is obviously a sad thing people have to go through. It takes time to get through that sort of thing. And I think no-one put that time together. I think you see an announcement made you know, at the top of this year and then you see these photos and you say to yourself, “Well let’s put this together.” But this is why I’m grateful for moments like this because it allows you to set the facts straight. And God forbid the facts get in the way of a really good juicy story.

He had put out a statement saying that um he had failed in his marriage and it was about five years back. I didn’t know him at that time, so to put that blame on me was obviously hurtful."

The actress-singer also shared that her ex-fiance, Lenny Santiago, checked on her in the midst of all of the rumors!

Kerry Washington is giving details in the new issue of AdWeek on the smart branding moves she's made.  Get her gorgeous spread inside, plus what she spills about "Scandal," Apple, Neutrogena and more....

In a new cover story for AdWeek, we finally learn more about Kerry Washington's genius branding decisions.  Chick is a boss.  Don't tell her to confirm in order to land a partnership, and don't think she's sitting around waiting to be invited to the next party.  She's producing new shows for ABC, keeping "Scandal" at the top of the most viral shows out, and more.

Here are the highlights.

On what she found fascinating about "Confirmation": One of the reasons I was drawn to the project was because even though the environmental context was similar, this is a woman who is on the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of access and power. That part of it was fascinating for me, to flip the circumstance upside down, to not be an insider.

On THAT abortion scene on "Scandal": I had no idea that the abortion scene was coming until I turned the page at the table read and read it out loud with everybody else.

On getting her childhood friend turned social media manager on board with "Scandal" going viral: I knew from my work on the Obama campaign how vital social had been to our being able to elect President [Barack] Obama....I came across an article about the most tweeted-about shows, sent it to Allison and said, "I want Scandal to be on this list next year." And she said, "In order to accomplish that, probably everybody on the show should be on Twitter."
I was really aware of the dynamics of being what they call a "No. 1" on a call sheet. I've never wanted to come across as bossy or abuse that position with my castmates or with the crew. So I called Shonda and said, "If you ask the crew to go on Twitter, then they'll do it because you are our boss." She loved that idea and she didn't demand, but she encouraged everyone to do it—and of course, because she's Shonda Rhimes, everybody did. We have this show that we were really passionate about, and the truth was the network had only given us a limited [first] season, and we wanted to do what we could on a grassroots level to promote the show because we were so proud of it.

On choosing brands she partners with: I'm not interested in partnering with brands where I have to conform to match their brand identity. If somebody doesn't want to work with me because I do a speech at the Democratic National Convention, that's fine.

On being a partner with brands, not just a spokesperson: When I joined [Neutrogena], I think the darkest foundation shade was tan, and it was not a match for me [laughs]. They wanted to elevate their beauty profile and really lean into their makeup line, relaunch and expand it. I don't want to work places where I don't get to have a voice, and this felt like a place where I actually could have a really important voice.

On how that Apple music commercial came about with Taraji P. Henson and Mary J. Blige: Steve Stoute, who is the head of Translation Marketing, and is like the brother I never had, and Jimmy Iovine at Apple Music. Steve felt like people know the Olivia Pope side of me, and the real-world White House side of me, and the magna cum laude Kerry who gives speeches at commencements, but they don't really know hip-hop Kerry and Kerry from the Bronx, the way Steve does. He felt like that was a part of my brand that I wasn't doing a good enough job getting out there.
On Hillary Clinton coming to the set: I had recorded a few radio spots for the campaign. Hillary was in town for a fundraiser, and Tony [Goldwyn, who plays President Fitzgerald Grant] and I thought we might get off work in time to go, but we didn't. So I emailed Huma [Abedin, Clinton's longtime aide] and said, "Why don't you guys come here?" And they were able to. It was very surreal, because at some point you couldn't tell the difference between our pretend Secret Service on the show, and the real Secret Service walking on the set.
