Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas is reminding us all why she’s so great. The now 20-year-old athlete, who made history as the first woman of color and the first African-American gymnast to become the individual all-around Olympic champion, walked in the 2016 AT&T American Cup recently to win.

And that’s exactly what she did.

According to USA Today, Gabby received the highest score on nearly every exercise routine (except her floor exercise). Out of all of her performances, her balance beam routine had us in awe the most! She literally nailed every single move and made it look effortless.

Seeing Gabby slay the competition has us even more excited to see her compete in her second Olympic games that will go down in Rio this summer. We're ready for her to make HERstory again.

In movie news....

We’ve just learned some new details about Alexandra Shipp starring as Storm in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse film.

The YBF chick will play the younger incarnation of Storm where the character becomes a part of the villain En Sabah Nur’s “Four Horsemen.”

In an interview with Collider, Alexandra spills a few deets about her role where she revealed her character will speak with a Kenyan accent. Oh? (Interesting since the internets were pushing HARD for Lupita Nyongo to land this role.)

Not only that, the young Mohawk wearing Storm will also speak Arabic. Interesting.

She spilled:

"I am. I’m doing a Kenyan accent. I’m also speaking Arabic, which is cool."

Hmm...

Alexandra also shared how the white Mohawk came about. Remember when we spotted her at Comic-Com with a bald head? Well know we know why. She said:

"You know, I was really excited too ’cause when I was thinking, 'What are they going to do with my hair?' They weren’t too sure. Then they told me they were doing the mohawk. I was like, 'Perfect.' I go and I do the wig fitting or whatever. I’m talking to Felix, the guy who does all of the hair and the wigs on the show. I’m like, 'You know what, let’s do it now.' This was like 3 months beforehand. I was like shave it, let’s do it! He goes, 'Okay, we’ll shave the whole thing.' I go, “Hold on now. The whole thing?” He’s s like, 'Yeah, we’re going to glue the wig on”. He’s like, 'Yeah, we’ll just like shave your head every morning with cream.' I’m thinking, 'What do you mean cream? Like what? Some sort of leche on my head? I don’t know what that means. I don’t want it. I don’t want to know.' But it worked out. It’s pretty cool.

Shave her head everyday? Talk about committed.

Later, she explained how her character Storm is different from the Storm Halle Bery played in the 2000 flick x-Men.

"My Storm in particular is kind of a, well yeah, she’s the past derivative of Halle’s Storm. This Storm is a little bit different because you’re meeting her in Cairo. You’re seeing kind of a little bit of where she comes from. You’re seeing all the pain that she’s gone through. It’s not like she’s in the mansion having a great time. She’s so different from all of the other kids because they come from families. They come from some sort of love and support whereas Storm hasn’t had that since her parents died in that plane crash into the house when she was like 5."

"It’s like, she’s kind of just all really messed up and the only mutants that she knows are bad mutants. The only mutants that she knows are the mutants who use their powers for stealing, or protecting thugs or whatever. It’s not like, “Oh, we’re going to save the planet”. It’s like, “Forget the planet, I need money so I’m going to distract you with some wind and then I’m going to pick pocket you.” She’s in survival mode so when she meets Apocalypse, she’s kind of like hit this revelation where she has been struggling to feel like she belongs somewhere."

"Then this extremely powerful being comes to her and says, “I’m what you’ve been waiting for, I will take care of you”. For her, that’s like, click. She doesn’t know anything about the X-Men. The only thing she knows is about Mystique when she saved the president, but that’s basically it. Other than Mystique, every other Mutant that she’s known has been bad so, that’s kind of where she’s coming from. I don’t necessarily see her as a bad person, or as a bad mutant. I don’t see her as a villain. She doesn’t know that she’s a villain. That’s just all she’s ever known, is just bad."

It will be interesting to see how they spin all of this.

Another one.  Apparently Katt Williams needs to do a #JailTalk for Snap because dude is in there more than a little bit.  News inside on his latest arrest on Tuesday and who else is involved in the foolery....

Comedian Katt Williams has possibly graduated from assaulting people himself to getting other people to do it for him while he watches.

A man believed to be Katt Williams' bodyguard was recently the victim of another alleged Katt Williams crime in Georgia.

Bodyguard Corey Dixon claims that about a month ago, Katt attempted to force him to commit crimes around town.

Hall County Deputy Nicole Bailes says Corey refused to “engage in criminal activity as directed by Williams."  Corey says he was then taken back to the comedian's home on Lake Breeze Lane in Gainesville and punished for it. 

According to the Sheriff's Office press release, Katt ordered a 24-year-old woman named Tatiana Smith (pictured atop in new mugshot next to Katt's new mugshot) to take a baseball bat and beat Corey with it in the chest.  She's also accused of choking him.

Katt reportedly stood back and watched, and even ordered her to kill him.

"He ordered the assault and stood there while the assault was happening. It is my understanding that there were firearms present. Mr. Williams had a firearm on his person," Bailes said.

Katt was booked Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault, false imprisonment and terroristic threats.  Tatiana and another resident of the home, Lena Smith, were also arrested on a combination of charges including aggravated assault, possession of marijuana and possession of Alprazolam. All three are being held without bond and have a hearing set for 2p Wednesday.

As for why it took this long to arrest Katt, Bailes said:

"Obviously, Mr. Williams has been in the news quite a bit, and we wanted to preserve the integrity of our investigation. When we initially received this, we wanted to follow up with this. A lot of our witnesses live out of state."

On the same day this alleged attack happened, Katt and a group of 15 people allegedly robbed five women at gunpoint in Atlanta.  The next day, Katt was arrested in Philly for attacking a pool store owner.  Also within the last few weeks, Katt was caught on video punching someone on stage during Beanie Sigel's show in Philly.

The new season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” is going to be a doozy. Transgender producer D. Smith is joining the cast and Lil Scrappy has plenty to say. Deets inside…

“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” season 5 is almost here. And the new season will follow the drama filled blueprint that has kept the show afloat this long. 

This season will be welcoming its first transgender castmate D. Smith:

D. Smith is a Grammy award winning transgender music producer who has worked with artists such as Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, Monica, Ciara and more.

According to the press release, D. Smith’s defining moment came after being tapped by Wayne to be a part of his most successful project to date The Carter III, which sold one million copies in its debut week, one of only three rap albums in history to ever achieve this feat.

She'll be storming into this season with her spitfire sidekick and aspiring singer Betty Idol by her side.  This should get interesting since at least one of her castmates is not feeling her joining the show. And that would be Lil Scrappy.

Scrappy doesn't shy away about his real thoughts on the trans community. Last summer, he went IN on the trans community saying he had a problem with trans people because he didn’t like the influence they have over little kids. Hmmm….so his misogynistic rap lyrics and crazy antics on “LAHH: ATL” are better?

Anyway, Scrappy hopped on Instagram to share his thoughts again on what he thinks about transgender people and this is what he had to say:

The comment section is on FIRE with fans blasting him for his opinion on the trans community. But, there's one person whom he holds dear to his heart who does NOT agree with him....Momma Dee!

Lordt! We can already see how this season is going to be. We likely won't see any scenes with Scrappy and D. Smith.

Kandi Burruss is giving folks the first look at baby Ace Wells Tucker's face.  Get the super adorable pic inside, plus Kandi and Todd talking about the difficulties of getting pregnant...and surviving newbornhood.

We've seen everybody in Atlanta come visit baby Ace (via Kandi's Instagram) for the longest sip-n-see in history.  Up until now, though, we've never seen his full face. 

Kandi unveiled her and husband Todd's baby boy via People's Celebrity Babies today.  And the two month old is ridiculously adorable!

The 39-year-old "RHOA" star opened up about this pregnancy definitely not being easy thanks to havin to do IVF treatments:

“We really worked hard for him. It was a long process and lots of needles.”

And taking care of a newborn hasn't been all that easy either.  Kandi's daughter Riley is 13 and Todd's daughter Kaela (pictured above with her baby brother) is 19, so it's been a while since they've done this baby thing.  Todd wasn't in Kaela's life until later in her life, so he's brand new to the baby business.  Kandi revealed:

“It’s like starting all over.  We were like, ‘Which bottles do we use? What diapers do we buy?’ Simple stuff that you would think I already know and I don’t. It’s silly.”

About the cutesy decor on Ace's nursery, Kandi says they wanted an African theme since she and Todd met in Africa.  But not in an over-the-top way. 

“It’s safari chic,” added Todd. “Safari clean.”

So what's it like having more testosterone in the house after handling two teenaged girls?   Kandi said:

“I always wanted a boy so we were super excited because we have two girls and they give us much attitude.  We were looking forward to having a boy.”

Shade Queen Mariah is back at it again.  Remember like 15 or so years ago when Mariah claimed she "didn't know" Jennifer Lopez?  J.Lo has been making her interview rounds lately to squash the beef, and MiMi just re-ignited it.  Check the newest video inside, plus Cuba Gooding Jr. doing the absolute most in the club, in case you missed it.

Jennifer Lopez stopped by many talk shows this week and last and tried to convince folks there's no beef between herself and Mariah Carey.  That interview from the early 2000's (when J.Lo was pretty much a bonafide pop star) when Mariah answers "I don't know her" after being asked what she thought about Jennifer Lopez is still one of the most epic diva moments in history.

J.Lo hit up "The Wendy Show" yesterday and confirmed she and Mariah had met several times and she was just "forgetful."  Hmph.  But Jenny also didn't see her show in Vegas recently.  Folks asked her why not and she said she didn't have time due to taping "Idol."  She did, though, find time to make it to everyone else's (and we mean EVERYONE else's) show.

Aside from the other shady moments here and there between the two, J.Lo swears there's no beef at all.  And then, TMZ caught up with Mariah in Vegas last night.

When she was asked -- with Jenny's name even being mentioned -- what she thinks about "I still don't know her" still being relevant today.  She responded,"I still don't know her."

Still together! Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian were spotted trekking through LAX amid rumors that the twosome had called it quits. Peep their candids and get the deets on their day out inside….

If you thought Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian had called it quits…guess again. They’re still going strong.

The lovebirds, who looked to be keeping a low-profile, were spotted making their way through LAX airport yesterday. We hear Rob hopped on a flight Monday to meet Chyna in Atlanta (where she was hosting a party) and they returned to L.A. together.  Apparently they couldn't stand to be apart even for a few days.

After touching down, the couple went to Benihana in Encino to dine on some good eats. Source told TMZ Rob ate a “whole bunch of sushi” and sipped on sake and mimosas.

By the way, Rob is looking like that diet's been working. Go Rob.

Inside, the YBF teens dish on their fashion inspirations, which celebrities their crushing on and interesting tidbits that make that unique.

By now, you know 15-year-old Willow (who recently became Chanel’s newest brand ambassador) pretty much has all creative control over her image and sound (she’s still making music).  Her parents Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are now allowing her and her brother Jaden to tap into their creative sides as they please.

For instance, she showed up to the W shoot rocking a nose ring and navy blue dreads accented with large safety pins. "That was my idea,” Willow said.“I was in my bathroom yesterday and saw some safety pins on the counter and was just like, ‘Let me stab a dread real quick.’ When I did it, I was, like, ‘Oh, this is dope.’ ”

Gotta love it.

As for what her parents have to say about her eclectic style, she dished,“I wanted to wear things then [when I was younger] that might have been too crazy. But now they know I set my own boundaries.”

So where does she get her fashion inspiration? “My mom,” Willow said.“When she was on tour with Ozzfest, she was very raunchy. I loved watching her onstage.”

While Willow has plenty of projects and activities to keep her mind off of puppy love, she does have a few celeb crushes. She told the mag, “Adèle Exarchopoulos and Léa Seydoux. They’re so beautiful in Blue Is the Warmest Color. I don’t really like the crude sexualness of the movie, but I like all the scenes that aren’t porn. My favorite love scene in a movie is in Avatar—when they’re at the tree of souls and they’re communing with Eywa.”

19-year-old Disney starlet/singer/dancer opened up about her special-edition Zendaya Barbie inspired by her controversial 2015 Oscar appearance. The Barbie was a total game changer and even more special being that Daya didn't play with Barbies when she was a little girl because they didn't look like her. 

She said,“After my Oscar moment, Mattel contacted us. They specifically wanted to make a Barbie that looked like me, in my exact outfit from the Oscars. I was so excited that Barbie wanted to diversify their brand. Now all little girls can have a Barbie that looks like them. My Barbie is in a box. I never let anyone touch her.”

The gorgeous “K.C. Undercover” star, who has been dancing since the age of 8, competed on “Dancing With The Stars.” She almost won the Mirror Ball, landing in 2nd place. She was asked about the different costume designs on the show where she said she only had one demand that had to be honored during the season. “The only thing I refused to do was get a spray tan,” Zendaya said.“I said, ‘Guys—I’m half-black. I naturally glow from melanin.’”

As for which celebrities she has been crushing on, she revealed, “In the non-weirdest way possible, Johnny Depp! Leonardo DiCaprio! Idris Elba! I have talent crushes. My room used to be full of Michael Jackson posters. Now I have a poster from the musical The Band Wagon.”

Gotta love friends like these.  Tennis players Serena Williams and Carolina Wozniacki may compete each other often, but they're besties off the court.  So when Carolina was asked about Serena's take on Maria Sharapova's doping drama, she ave the perfect bestie answer.

Deets inside, plus 50 Cent claiming -- in court -- that the money we see on his IG is fake.

News hit this week that Tennis champ Maria Sharapova - who's been accused of getting privileges Serena Williams doesn't get despite the fact Serena's ranked higher and has won plenty more titles - tested positive for drug use.

She voluntarily told the public during a press conference that she's been taking the drug Meldonium for health reasons for the last 10 years, but just this year it was put on the Banned Drugs list for professional tennis players....and she didn't realize it.  She was prescribed the drug by a family doctor.

Maria has tons of endorsement deals.  It was actually a hot topic of discussion when the blonde was recently named the highest paid female athlete, but didn't necessarily have the wins to back that up.  Now, some of her biggest relationships have been severed, including a $70 million/8-year-deal with Nike and her deals with Porsche and TAG Heuer.

So what does Serena, who's now poised to become the highest paid female athlete, have to say about it all?  During an exhibition match at Madison Square Garden yesterday between Carolina and Serena, Carolina told the press:

“Like everyone else, most people were surprised and shocked. But most people are happy with the fact she was upfront with what she had done in terms of what she had neglected. With that being said, she’s taking responsibility, which she was ready to do.”

When asked if she believes the drug gave Maria any competitive edge against Serena (even though Serena STILL is undefeated against Maria after 18 matches), Carolina answered without really answering (you know, how a good friend would):

 “I don’t think I’m the best person to ask that question.”

By the way, these two are girl power all day.  From spilling tea in their morning facetime sessions to snapchatting and kiki'ng together during matches even when they're playing each other.  Loves it.

50 Cent says all that money he STAYS posing with on the 'Gram aint his.  In fact, he claims it's all fake.  Mmmhmm.

Allegations are being tossed around that he's hiding money while he's filing for bankruptcy and claiming to be "broke."

His creditors claim he's only filing bankruptcy to get out of paying his bills, including money owed to his baby's mother.  They believe the money he poses with on the 'Gram proves that. 

So, Curtis responded via court docs yesterday. Fif says the money we see him with is all fake and he posts it simply to "maintain a persona." Oh?

Before The Perfect Match hits theaters on Friday, a special screening was held at Regal Atlantic Station in Atlanta last night, hosted by V-103 radio personality Big Tigger.

Former reality star-turned-author Toya Wright stepped out for a night out with her girls in the city. Toya kept it cute in a gray sweater dress and silver sandals for a flirty look.

Toya's friend Monyetta Shaw, Ne-Yo's ex, joined her to check out the chick flick.

Former "Hollywood Exes" star and choreographer Andrea Kelly popped up at the screening. We see she had her lady lumps sitting pretty.

Former “R&B Diva: Atlanta” star Nicci Gilbert was all smiles, rocking all black everything, with the host of the evening Big Tigger.

SWV singer Lelee Lyons is looking amazing these days. Chick has been sweating it out in the gym and we see the payoff. Looking good Lelee!

At one point in time Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian West couldn’t stand one another. After the Twitter wars between Amber and Kim’s sisters and Amber's ex-Kanye West publicly “slut shaming” her, the two were at odds.

Just last month, the ladies decided to bury the hatchet and joined forces on the ‘Gram with a selfie that nearly broke the Internet.

Now that bygones are bygones, Amber is extending the olive brand to her former enemy in the name of feminism. After Kim K posted a naked selfie on social media, she received tons of backlash from fans and celebs. She then took to her website to pen an open letter to clap back at the body shamers. And now, Amber is seemingly coming to her defense. Well that’s interesting.

The “How To Be A Bad B*tch” author hopped on Instagram to invite the reality star to her next SlutWalk.  She encouraged Kim to own up to her now 13-year-old sex tape (that ultimately put her in the limelight). She posted:

The Perfect Match star Lauren London was making her way down the carpet to conduct interviews when ish went left. Lauren was chopping it up with a magazine when all of a sudden Jennifer Lopez hit the red carpet and the camera man shifted his focus on her! Lauren seemed annoyed, threw up her hand and said, “Go head! You’re doing a lot” then walked off from the reporters. Bloop!

Iyanla Vanzant has an interesting take on marriage. She believes marriage isn’t an equal partnership and she would NEVER do it again. Do you agree? Sound off inside…

Life coach Iyanla Vanzant appeared on Tyrese and Rev Run’s new primetime series “It’s Not You, It’s Men” on the OWN Network recently to dish on relationships and marriage.

With three failed marriages under her belt, the “Fix My life” host told the guys she would never get married again. Ty prompted Iyanla with a question, asking, "If and when you decide to do it all over again—"

“Never!,” Iyanla yells out cutting him off. “I would never ever, ever.”

Rev Run followed up asking, "Why did you commit to the men early on?"

Iyanla admitted that she married the same man twice subconsciously in search of her father’s approval and then broke down what relationships SHOULD do for a person. She said:

"Relationships are not where we go to have fun. Relationships are where we go to heal and where we go to learn. And who you're going to attract is the person that's going to bring to the forefront the thing you need to learn or heal."

Then, she explained exactly why she would never trek down the aisle again. She believes marriage isn’t an equal partnership.

“You know what?,” Iyanla said. “I would not be a great wife based on the definitions and the standards of today. I’m a great partner because I see my partner as my equal.

She continued:

“One of things that happens in our relationships is we either pick up somebody who needs our help or pick up somebody that can help us. Love and pure relationship and commitment can only exist among equals. Cause if I see you as less than, I can’t commit. If I see you as more than I can’t commit. So today, I’m looking for an equal. And I don’t want to be a wife. I want to be a partner. Because wives have to do stuff that I’m not doing.”

Oh? We wonder what "things" a wife is "supposed to do" that Iyanla refuses to do.

Bow Wow woke up to an unexpected birthday gift today. Someone tried to egg his car in the middle of the night. The thing is, whoever did the egging missed their mark and tagged one of his friend’s cars. Was it ex-fiancee Erica Mena or his now rumored ex-Keyshia Cole? Find out inside…

Bow Wow celebrates his 29th birthday today. But, someone tried to put a damper on his birthday plans after egging a few luxury cars outside of his home. The kicker? The culprit egged the wrong car! The car they egged was in fact on of his friend’s cars. Bloop!

This morning, the “CSI” star hopped on Twitter to reveal someone rolled through his hood, either last night or early this morning, and egged a Rolls Royce parked outside of his car. While he didn’t name any names, he did confirm it was one of his exes and that he knows who the culprit is thanks to his security cameras.

Rapper "Lil Mama" is behind bars in NYC this AM.  Nope, not because of her "Work" remix video (which we actually didn't think was that bad but other folks aren't here for it).   It's all because she was speeding 10 miles over the speed limit....without a license.

The "TLC Story" star was whipping through Harlem around 4AM this morning doing 38 in a 25.  Cops pulled her over and then realized her license had been revoked.  She was then taken into custody.

Damn homie.

In honor of International Women’s Day, First Lady Michelle Obama met up with renowned street artist Mr. Brainwash to paint a Let Girls Learn-inspired mural at Union Market in Washington, D.C.

FLOTUS grabbed a spray can and got to work adding some extra hearts to the mural. The mural of hearts represents the 62 million girls who are not currently in school. But, FLOTUS is trying to change that with her “Let Girls Learn” initiative she launched last March.

She also spoke before an audience of women to celebrate the first anniversary of the “Let Girls Learn” initiative. She stressed the importance of girls getting an education with an empowering speech on why she’s so passionate about the movement.

I’ve seen it time and time again –- girls in Senegal studying at rickety desks in bare concrete classrooms raising their hands so hard they’re almost falling out of their chairs. Girls in Cambodia who wake up hours before dawn, ride their bikes for miles just to get to school. Bangladeshi immigrant girls in the United Kingdom who study for hours every night and proudly wear their head scarves everywhere they go, resolutely ignoring those who would demean their religion.

These girls risk everything -– the rejection of their communities, the violation of their bodies -– everything, just to go to school each day. And then here I show up with a hoard of international reporters shoving microphones in their faces -- these girls don’t blink. They stand up. They look straight into those cameras and they proudly explain who they want to be –- doctors and teachers, forces for change in their countries.

You see, they know that education is their only path to self-sufficiency. It is their only chance to shape their own fate rather than having the limits of their lives dictated to them by others. And I’m passionate about this because I truly see myself in these girls -– in their hunger, in their burning determination to rise above their circumstances and reach for something more. And I know that many of you do, too.

And let’s be clear, this issue isn’t just personal to women. I have met countless men who learn about the plight of girls around the world, and they look into the eyes of their daughters and wives and mothers -– women they deeply respect and love -– and this issue becomes personal for them, too. So it’s not surprising that over the past year since we launched Let Girls Learn, we have been overwhelmed by the response we’ve received.

This issue is truly resonating as folks in every sector are stepping up to take action on behalf of these girls around the world. From day one, the U.S. government has been leading the way with State, USAID, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, investing hundreds of millions of dollars. They’re providing scholarships for girls in Liberia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. They’re doing leadership training for girls in Afghanistan. They’re building school bathrooms for girls in El Salvador. They’re taking on female genital mutilation in Guinea, forced child marriage in Bangladesh.

In rappers giving back news....

Over the weekend, rapper Rick Ross made a surprise visit to a Southern Crescent Habitat For Humanity's first Fayette County project, with interest to get more involved with the organization.

The MMG honcho met with volunteers and Habitat partner families from the South Atlanta area during his two-hour visit.

He was greeted and welcomed Kem Kimbrough (atop), CEO of Southern Crescent Habitat, Ed Johnson, Mayor of Fayetteville, David Barlow (above), Fayette County Commissioner, Ray Gibson, Fayetteville's City Manager. Kyle Hood, Tyrone Town Manager, officially welcomed Rozay into Fayette County and acknowledged his philanthropic interest for the county.

Then the Bawse got down to business:

Rozay got his hands dirty helping to paint one of the homes that the organization is working on to house a new family. "Anything that I can do, I want to do it," said Ross.

Earlier this month, the “Diced Pineapples” rapper was officially indicted for allegedly pistol whipping and kidnapping his groundskeeper. He will be facing several charges that include possession of a firearm while committing a crime, aggravated assault, aggravated batter, and kidnapping.

Beyonce opens up in a rare interview for the Spring/Summer 2016 issue of Garage magazine. Find out what she revealed about her proudest moment, her biggest hero, her love for art and more inside….

Landing an interview with Beyonce is a big deal these days being that Queen Bey hardly does any one-on-one interviews. Outside of a mini interview with FLAUNT magazine (which included a word chart), Bey has pretty much shunned away from personal interviews.

Hell, even VOGUE magazine couldn’t squeeze an interview out of Bey when she covered their coveted September issue last year. But, Garage magazine got the chance to chop it up with the “Formation” singer.  It's unclear if it was a sit down or an email or phone interview, but it's good to hear from Bey again either way.

For the Spring/Summer 2016 issue of Garage magazine, the “Flawless” one poses it up in a few pictorials shot by photographer Robin Harper. Renowned Swiss artist Urs Fischer reimaged with photos with blue and red painted frames as Bey served face while rocking a set of fresh cornrows for the shoot.

Six-Time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald graces the cover of ESSENCE magazine’s April 2016 where she shares how following her passion literally saved her life. Get the scoop inside….

As we celebrate Women’s History Month, it’s only right to have Broadway legend Audra McDonald gracing the cover of a new magazine issue.

The Broadway starlet, who is also the mother to a teenage daughter, is serving all types of black girl fabness on the April 2016 cover of ESSENCE’s “Careers” issue. This is her very first ESSENCE cover.

If you haven’t heard, Audra made history as the first person to cop SIX Tony Awards in acting and won in each category. #BlackGirlMagic! She’s currently gearing up for HBO’s broadcast of Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill where she channels the late Billie Holiday. It’s set to premiere March 12th. She’s also heading back to Broadway to star in “Shuffle Along,” with previews kicking off March 15th.

For the ESSENCE cover story, Audra, who has been happily married to Broadway actor Will Swenson since 2012, dishes on what it was like growing up being labeled a “drama queen” and how that was kick-started her acting career. She said,

“If it was raining, I’d freak out and think it was a monsoon.”

Her parents then decided to help channel that energy and enrolled her at a dinner-theater company. She reflected on the experience saying,

“All of a sudden, everything clicked for me. I felt normal. I had found my place.”

As she went on to pursue her career, Audra suddenly hit rock bottom. While studying opera at Julliard, she had become depressed and tried to slit her wrist. She overcame that bump in the road and went on to make history by winning SIX Tony Awards. Not only that, she also has two Grammy awards under her belt.

“I thought I would feel different [after winning my sixth Tony]—that I would finally figure out how to organize my underwear drawer,” she said. “I’m grateful and blown away by it all, but I’m still me. I still have work to do.”

It just goes to show that even when you’re at your lowest, you can still pick yourself up, brush it off and still do great things.

Keke Palmer opens up about her sexuality, that steamy kiss with Cassie and dealing with depression in a new interview with HOT 97. Get the highlights and take a peek at K. Michelle’s colorful new video “Mindful” inside….

Keke Palmer dropped in on HOT 97 to chop it up with radio host Nessa where she lets us in on a few tidbits we may not have known about her.

The 22-year-old actress, who will be dropping a new album in September, addresses that steamy kiss she shared with singer/model Cassie in her “I Don’t Belong To You” video. The Internet went nuts when a clip of Keke and Cassie locking lips made its rounds on social media. We later learned it was promo for her video. But, folks have been wondering what was it like to get kissy with Diddy’s main chick.

The Brotherly Love star told Nessa that she did not get permission from the Hip Hop mogul before she and his girlfriend locked lips. She jokingly said now when she sees Diddy she gets low-key nervous. “I be nervous girl!," said Keke. "Like did you know that we did that video? Nah, he don’t care I’m sure.” Ha!

The SnapChat queen then opened up on if she would ever date a girl.

"Absolutely," she said. "Where love is, that's where I'm going. That's what I'm about. It's not about all that other stuff. It's just about love. So if that's a guy, great. If that's a girl, great. It doesn't really matter to me."

While she doesn’t have her eyes on a lucky lady right now, the “Grease Live!” starlet broke down what she looks for, personality wise, in a man.

If a guy wants to get at Keke, she requires a sense of humor (“I’m so goofy and corky!”), ambition, drive, honesty and loyalty.

She revealed her love life right now is pretty much non-existent, but she does go out on dates. She said she’s just having fun because she’s super focused on her career right now.

Later, Keke touched on dealing with depression and anxiety and how being a child actor played a role in that. She said,

“As a child actor, you experience a lot of depression and anxiety. I’m actually getting ready to write my first book right now and it touches on those things. It’s not a pity party. It’s a ‘this is what I’ve gone through and this is what I found out afterwards.’ Yes, I went through depression and it was not comfortable. Yes, I struggle with anxiety and feeling paranoid, trying to figure out who I am. I still go through those things today. But, all it is are thoughts. These are thoughts that come into your head and they go. You don’t have to cling to them. You can decide how to want to move forward. These aren’t real limitations. At the end of the day, you decide who you want to be.”

In a new video....

After releasing her new track “Mindful” featuring T-Pain last month, K. Michelle brings the track to life in a colorful new video treatment.

“Mindful” is a cut from her upcoming third studio album More Issues Than Vogue, set to be released March 25th.

The song isn't one of her usual love/heartbreak records. K holds nothing back and she lets out a mouthful of expletives rapping over a catchy beat. And some of the lyrics seem to be geared toward her nemesis Toya Wright.

On the new track, K raps, “F*ck that n*gga/F*ck that b*tch that he with/I got my own money/Ain’t nobdy giving me shit”

In the clip, the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star and her girls are hanging out in a trailer park when they notice a group of chicks eyeing them down from afar. The ladies meet up in the middle of street and a dance battle breaks out. Peep the clip above.

Y’all! Chris Brown is getting back to his old ways.  But some may think this time, it was necessary. He took it ALL the way there in social media feud with his former artist/collaborator Kevin McCall. Get the lowdown inside…

Chris Brown has been on his “good man” vibe recently. But, producer/songwriter Kevin McCall, who worked with Breezy on his hit tracks "Deuces," "Strip" and "No Bullsh*t," was able to take him out his square where Breezy unleashed one hell of a rant in response.

Here’s how it started….

There has been tension between Breezy and Kevin since they parted ways professionally. You’ll recall, Kevin did an interview last year where he talked about bitterness he felt towards the “Loyal” singer after Breezy (who signed him to his label CBE) stopped signing off on new deals, which caused the money flow to stop. Kevin also talked about the time he had to check Breezy after he got upset that Kevin decided to work with Keke Palmer.

Well, Kevin must still be feeling some type of way. So, he hopped on Twitter and called Chris out saying they needed to sit down and hash out their issues.

The twosome enjoyed a night of club hopping as they also hit up Warwick nightclub together.

We’re not sure what their status is, but we would guess just friends (for now). It’s nothing out of the ordinary to see the “Black and Yellow” rapper leaving the club with a new chick. He does it quite often.

In music news, Wiz is gearing up to perform at this year’s Kid’s Choice Awards on March 12th. Following that performance, Wiz will be taking his talents to Dubai where he’s scheduled to rock out for his Taylor Gang fans on March 31st.

Sexy actor Michael B. Jordan was spotted doing what regular people do: Pump gas! He did look sexy while doing it though.

The CREED star hit up the gas station to re-fuel his ride before heading to Universal Studios in L.A. The 29-year-old actor recently signed on to work behind-the-scenes on the remake of crime thriller The Thomas Crown Affair, so he may have been heading to a meeting to work on his new project.
