Somebody please come and get Katt Williams!  He wasn't arrested just one time this week, he was actually arrested a second time for allegedly assaulting a group of women!  We've got the deets inside, plus Orlando Brown facing up to his domestic violence charge....

Remember when Katt Williams was arrested on Monday for punching a Georgia pool store owner?  Well, that wasn't his only arrest this week!  He also allegedly started wilin' out on a group of five black women, and guns were involved.

Attorney Loletha Hale surprised us all when she held a press conference today in Atlanta with four of the five women (pictured here) who are accusing Katt Williams and 15 members of his entourage of fighting them and stealing their cellphones.

The incident in question went down Sunday morning around 2:30am when the ladies saw Katt walking down West Peachtree and 3rd Streets.  They asked for a picture with the comedian, and Katt obliged.  Then, everything went left when one woman in the group started videoing.

It's a case of he said vs. she said.  The AJC reports:

When one of the women with Boston began filming Williams, he got angry and started fighting them, according to the report.

Boston told police Williams punched her, pointed a gun at the group and took the women’s cellphones at one point.

According to the police report, Williams refutes Boston’s account of what happened.

He said the group of women started harassing, filming and taking pictures of him without his consent.

They then “became irate” and snatched a chain from his neck, which led Williams to start a fight with the group, according to the report.

His security team saw what was happening and allegedly approached the women.

At one point in the incident, one of the women said “she was going to her car to get something to pop somebody,” Williams told police.

A member of Williams’ entourage then took a firearm out and sat it down on a concrete post, according to the report.

A damn mess.

Attorney Hale also called out Atlanta PD for not investigating properly.  The police's response:

“Upon responding to the scene, the officers were not able to determine what occurred due to conflicting testimony by all parties and a lack of an independent witness,” Atlanta police Sgt. Warren Pickard said. “Based on the information they had in real time and the totality of the circumstances, the officer used their discretion to not arrest anyone on the scene.”

Sighs.

In other news, Orlando Brown went to court today and decided to Vlog it all...and it was pure foolishness.  He was facing the judge on those charges stemming from his arrest from last month.

While asking his wife "Baby did I beat you," he seemed quite....off.

She said "No" for what it's worth.  Orlando went on to video his meeting with his public defender (chile...) and mentioned he's facing charges of Grand Theft and Trespassing.  He still denies any domestic violence occured and explained the DV charge was simply due to him breaking a window. His lawyer explains further in the video:

His wife also went off about girls trying to slide in Orlando's DMs.  Really?

What went wrong Eddie?  Like, in life?

1.  Aint no love in the heart of the city!  ATL Falcons' most decorated star, Roddy White, who has played with the team for 11 seasons and is often called the heart of the team, was cut today while he was out of the country.  He said previously he wasn't interested in taking a pay cut, so the team simply let him go with two years still left on his contract.  Damn!  STORY

We love a story about overcoming the life's hardest obstacles.  Nicole Bell, the widow of Sean Bell, is now telling her story about losing her husband the morning of their wedding day to police brutality to regaining her life (and love) back after contemplating suicide.  Get inspired inside..

This November will mark the 10 year anniversary of Sean Bell's death.  When the 23-year-old was shot and killed, and his friend shot and severely wounded, in the wee hours of the morning after his bachelor party, it shook New York and the rest of the country to its core.

Five detectives sprayed gunshots into Sean's car as he was leaving the scene of an altercation originally involving his friend. Joseph.  The incident beginning and/or in the process of escalating.  Unfortunately, Sean's bachelor party was held at a strip club that was under investigation and under the watchful eye of many detectives that night.  An argument involving Sean's friends escalated into something more when detectives got involved.  The claimed they THOUGHT they saw one person with a gun.

Three detectives went to trial and all were found Not Guilty.

How does a bride go on with life after such a heart wrenching loss?  Nicole Bell has been on the speaking circuit for the last decade talking about a myriad of topics to help other families get through similar siuations.

Now, she's opening up to PYNK Magazine about how she found the courage to live her life again all while still fighting for justice.  After being at the lowest point hin her life, she's now married to a man named Jay, they have a daughter, and Nicole has seamlessly integrated Sean's memory into her new life.

Here are the highlights:

On her healing process as a new widow: I was dealing with depression, so I was in a very fragile state. I didn  helping other people and working towards change.   Also, therapy was taking care of my daughters. As a single mother, you really don’t have a choice. I had to take care of my babies. They were my number one priority. It wasn’t as easy as I thought. Knowing that it was okay to show my daughters that I wasn’t a bionic woman helped a lot. I showed them that I’m human too and I have pain also. It was important to show my daughters that mommy cries too, but it’s to strengthen us.

On learning to love again: After Sean died I remember not doing my hair. I remember the day after I didn’t do my hair and I was getting ready to go out looking like a hot mess. For a while I felt like that, but now I can shed light on that stage in my life. The mourning phase is not permanent, it No one should live their life in mourning being sad and depressed all the time.  For me, my family, my community, and my activism slowly but surely helped me overcome that period in my life. If I haven’t went through those stages, I would not be the woman I am today. These obstacles made me who I am.

On falling in love with her new husband: So I went back to school and while I was at York, I met Jay. He was studying biology at the time and he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do. He was an adult starting over as well. He was a father; he had a daughter who was the same age as mine. We were friends for a while, really good friends. We never took each other seriously.

After getting to know him and hanging out with him I started to let down my guard. He was such a funny person and being around him showed me a part of myself that I was missing for the longest. Being able to smile again and just have fun, I started to get this familiar feeling again. It’s like “woah, am I actually liking somebody?”

To be completely honest when I first fell in love with [my current husband]Jay, I thought that he was going to die too. I had a complex about death  and I had to tell myself that I needed to let go of the past and accept [life]. We stayed friends for a long time because I wasn’t ready to move on. In the end, I realized that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. In the end, I realized that nothing is ever going to be perfect, but what I found with Jay was perfect for me. That’s what I love about the life that I’ve chosen. Not everybody can go on.

On what she learned through her tribulations:  I learned that you should never give up on love. From being with Jay, I’ve been blessed with [our]youngest daughter, Bella, who has shown me what love was again.

There were days where I thought about taking my own life and for years I was embarrassed to even mention that to anyone, but now I can openly speak on it. I thought that people would judge me for the rest of my life.  I came to the conclusion that what I went through was some crazy stuff and unless you have experienced what I went through, you have no right to judge me. That’s with everyone’s life, you can never judge anyone’s journey because you have no idea what they felt like. I’ve been vulnerable and uncomfortable in the process, but it has all made me stronger.

On why she's keeping the last name Bell: When I lost Sean, I legally changed my name to Bell. That was a decision I made with his parents that felt like the right thing to do. When I got married to Jay in 2013, we went to the justice of peace to be legally married. I didn’t plan on doing that. Originally, I thought I was going to have this big wedding, but now it was the union that was more important than the wedding. So when Jay asked me to marry him, we were both on the same page. We said that we didn’t need a big elaborate wedding because we had each other. Jay was really understanding.

On social media activism:  As long as you’re not only going to talk the talk, but you’re going to walk the walk, I think that it’s great. If you aren’t taking action, you’re negating whatever movement you were attempting to join.

On her new organization's mission:  My non-profit organization focuses on the under served communities, mostly in Jamaica, Queens and Far Rockaway, New York. WIRIF is a youth and justice based organization aiming to provide a better quality of life for those in the community. We use our organization to raise awareness in different communities focusing a lot on social justice. We have a “Know your rights” forum that we do. We also hold community events like “Sean Bell Family Day” in August. The whole idea is to show that tragedy can become triumph. From being a victim to turning it around and becoming a victor. It aims to aid anyone in need and be a helping hand for people going through hardship.

How sweet!  Venus Williams opened up and gave us a rare look into her emotions as she showered praises on her baby sister Serena as they make their way back to Indian Wells -- the place that gave them one of the biggest emotional scars in life....

Venus and Serena WIlliams have always had an enviable sibling relationship.  So supportive and so close to each other. Now, big sis Venus has some words of praise for her baby sis.  And it all stems from how Serena handled her return to the Indian Wells tournament in California.

Last March, Serena returned to play the Indian Wells tournament after purposely shutting it out for 14 years.  Back in 2001, Venus had to pull out of the tournament due to a knee injury just minutes before her and Serena's doubles match.  The crowd boo'd them as they exited the court.  The next day, during Serena's singles matches, she was boo'd mercilessly.  The sisters boycotted the tournament ever since.  Until now.

Serena returned last year and received cheers and praise, even after she herself had to pull out at the last minute due to injury.  Venus decided to sit our still.  In an essay written for The Players' Tribune, Venus explains why she's stayed quiet about just how hurt her feelings were (keep in mind the sisters had suffered racist treatment from a few different crowds around the world over the years).  This one stung.

...I might even be the more competitive of the two of us. I think that Serena’s ability to lay everything bare on the court allows her to work through her emotions more easily. For me, though, it can be a more conflicted process. My quietness lets me stew a little in my thoughts. And once I feel a certain way about something, my competitiveness can make me a little slower to come around to the other side.

Venus talks about the how emotionally taxing the situation was saying:

I remember the hurt I felt. I remember my confusion and disappointment and anger. I remember how the coverage of it at the time didn’t seem concerned with me and Serena, as people, at all — but rather only with the story itself. And with the version of the story that would get the most attention, regardless of the truth. I remember feeling that I had been wronged, and that I had done nothing wrong. I remember feeling that I had unfairly gotten the brunt of the blame for a bad situation.

And I remember leaving Indian Wells in 2001 feeling like I wasn’t welcome there.

Not feeling welcome somewhere is a hard memory to let go of — at any age. At 20? It’s almost impossible. And so that’s what I did. I held onto it.

 

Venus also talked about how Serena recently filled the big sister role as she was the one teaching her about forgiveness:

"...Seeing Serena welcomed with open arms last year at Indian Wells, that I think I fully and truly realized what being the big sister means.

It means that, for all of the things I did first, and all of the times when I paved the way for Serena, the thing I can be most proud of is this time.

When Serena paved the way for me. 

...After almost 30 years of playing this sport, I’ve learned something. I’ve learned that, no matter what happens, or happened … or where you are, or where you’ve been … at the end of the day: tennis is tennis. It’s always, always tennis. And there’s nothing better.

Who taught me that?

Actually, funny story — it was the greatest player in the world.

I’m her big sister."

Last night was couples night!

Beyonce, Jay Z, Kevin Hart and his fiancée Eniko Parrish were all smiles at the Staples Center last night to check out Chris Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers hit the court against Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Carters have been all about that courtside life hitting up several NBA games in the last few weeks.

Last night, Bey showed up rocking some curly tresses topped with a black brimmed hat, a black shirt paired with some distressed jeans and black heels. Hov kept it simple in a black army fatigue sweatshirt, black jeans, a black hat and a pair of all-white Adidas Stan Smith trainers.

During the game, the twosome snacked on chips and beer while watching the fellas run up and down the court. We're sure Hov was cheering on Roc Nation Sports client Kevin Durant.

Bey is getting in as many date nights with hubby as she can before she heads out on her “Formation Tour” that kicks off in April. Meanwhile, Mr. Carter has been busy making business deals. It was recently announced that he's now managing DJ Khaled's career. Major key!

Funnyman Kevin Hart and his "rib" were having a good time courtside at the game. Kev was busy looking at his phone while Eniko was overcome with laughter.

Just yesterday, comedian Katt Williams called the Ride Along 2 star out on a $1 million comedy battle in his hometown this weekend. There's some beef brewing between the two after Katt dissed him on stage in Atlanta last weekend.

Kev has yet to respond to the challenge, but if he does decide to take it on, it would definitely be a show to see! 

By the way, the Clippers defeated the Thunder, 103-98.

After slaying in several gowns on the Oscars afterparty scene, R&B singer Kelly Rowland has jetted to Paris to soak in all of the runway shows. Kelly was spotted at the Chloé presentation at the Grand Palais yesterday rocking red linen overalls.

The gorgeous singer took her seat on the front row alongside actress Clemence Poesy and singer Eloise Letissier. The NY Times caught up with the “Chasing Destiny” host to chop it up about her new show and her bestie Beyonce.

“It’s called ‘Chasing Destiny’ and we are still currently filming all over the U.S.," said Kelly. “We are on the hunt for new singing stars. But it’s not a reality show, that’s something I want to make very clear. There’s enough of that going on. It’s a documentary series for girls who want a real record deal, not just the trapping of fame. I’ve seen some fabulous talent so far.

Sounds promising.

When asked what she thought about Mrs. Carter’s “Formation” video, she said,

"Well, she’s my best friend, so I am biased but frankly I think she’s a genius. I am so proud of her and completely stand behind her, and her creativity, vision and passion. We all know it already, but she is a true star."

Not only is he riding around in his foreign whip, he also recently dropped $20,000 on his soon-to-be baby mama/”Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” reality star Miska before their bundle of joy arrives. It appears he had a change of heart of some sorts because a few months ago he was BLASTING Miska, claiming she was nothing but a jumpoff and that he wanted a DNA test done.

R&B songstress Keyshia Cole told y’all she’s single these days (although she is still legally married to Boobie Gibson). She made her way to Craig’s restaurant with a friend…and NO it wasn’t Bow Wow.

While she may not be pregnant, we’re still not totally sure either way on if she’s seeing the “CSI” actor or not. We're keeping an eye out on these two.

It's 2016 and TGT is still beefin'.  Kinda.  Find out why singer Tank just called out former groupmate Tyrese regarding TGT's breakup.  Y'all know Black Ty has already come with a response.....

Back in December, former group member Ginuwine lit into Tyrese about being a diva.  That accusation came moths after Tyrese calling out Ginuwine for being high a a kite during performances.

Now, Tank's latest "interview" just set off a whole new mini-beef amongst the former R&B supergroup.  The singer was walking through LAX this week when paparazzi asked him about the status of the group's split and if there was any chance for a reunion.

Tank basically said No, then said Tyrese"still doesn't want to split the money."

Y'all already know the "Shame" singer caught wind of what his former groupmate said.  He quickly formulated a non-response response and posted this meme:

Nina Simone’s estate is still not here for the upcoming biopic, NINA, where Zoe Saldana has been tapped to play the iconic singer. Get the tea on the estate poppin’ off at Zoe at find out what RLJ Entertainment had to say about Zoe’s performance inside….

Twitter was all in a frenzy last night after Nina Simone’s estate popped off on Zoe Saldana!

The estate, which may be run by Nina’s daughter LisaSimone but this has yet to be verified, is still not here for Zoe playing the late jazz singer in the upcoming NINA biopic. Following the film’s cover art, official date and trailer being released, Zoe posted a Nina Simone quote. And that’s when ish went all the way left.

As you know by now, there has been much controversy about the Avatar actress portraying the iconic singer. Folks are up in arms that Zoe looks to be in “black face” and is using prosthetics to resemble NINA. Fans say the role should have been given to someone else who resembles Nina more.  Especially considering the concept of non-traditional beauty is so much of who Nina was.

Lisa Simone even penned an open letter where she revealed the project was unauthorized and that the Nina Simone Estate was “never asked permission, not invited to participate," which would explain why she's so against the film.

She also claims the storyline of the film is false. The biopic will follow a relationship between Nina her assistant Clifton Henderson (played by David Oyelowo), but Simone claims Clifton is gay and he never had that type of relationship with her mother.

Yikes.

Now, RLJ Entertainment founder Robert L. Johnson (also the founder of BET) is speaking out. RLJ Entertainment acquired distribution for the film.

In a statement, Mr. Johnson addresses the controversy head on. While he said Zoe may not look like Nina, folks should look at her performance before judging. He said,

“Zoe Saldana delivers an exceptional and mesmerizing tribute to Nina Simone. She gave her heart and soul to the role and displayed her extraordinary talent. The most important thing is that creativity or quality of performance should never be judged on the basis of color, or ethnicity, or physical likeness. Quality entertainment should be measured by the sheer force of creativity and the commitment that an actor or actress brings to the performance. We are proud to distribute the film headlined by Zoe Saldana and David Oyelowo on April 22, 2016.”

NINA hits theaters and VOD April 22nd.

We’ve been obsessing over Ciara’s golden braided crown that she rocked at the H&M show yesterday at Paris Fashion Week. And guess what? Celebrity stylist Cesar Ramirez just gave us the low down on how to achieve the look. Get it inside…

Ciara was ultimate #hairgoals when she popped up on the Paris Fashion Week scene. The R&B singer hit up the H&M runway show rocking a golden tribal inspired braided crown that we fell in love with.

It was something different for CiCi as she’s known for wearing long, flowy tresses. Braided styles are poppin’ right now and the “I Bet” singer was perfectly on trend.  It was definitely a risky move, and not everyone loved it.  But for those who did:

If you’re looking to recreate her fab braided crown, we’ve got you covered. Cesar Ramirez, MIZANI Global Artistic Director Cesar Ramirez, created her ‘do after sitting in on her fitting. He dished on the inspiration behind the braided style saying,

“I usually always attend Ciara’s fittings. It helps me get inspired and prepare for the looks we will be doing. When I saw the look at the H&M showroom, I wanted to play off the fun patterns in the dress. I immediately thought something tribal, twisted, dreaded and maybe frizzy would complete her look.”

It was the perfect look for her, especially after her trip to Lagos, Nigeria.

Here’s how YOU can re-create her ‘do below with the products Cesar used (or similar products of your choosing):

1. To start, Cesar parted the hair down the center from front hairline to the crown. Then from the crown down to the neck, he zigzag parted to create an invisible part in the back.
2. Next, Cesar started braiding down each side off the part using MIZANI DEFYNE WAX to really detail the braids. Once he started braiding off the head, he switched to a fishtail braid.
3. Cesar then took a separate bundle of loose hair (custom blended) to match her color and made a long separate fishtail braid.
4. He crossed and hair pinned the two loose ends in the back to sit right above the neck, then pinned in the separate fishtail like a headband behind the previous braid.
5. Cesar then pulled on each strand of each braid and lightly sprayed MIZANI SHYNE Bodifying Sheen Spray for slip – this created all the loose frizzy texture.
6. Cesar finished the look with MIZANI HRM Humidity Resistant Mist for hold.

Gorge.

Wait what? Jamie Foxx is rocking a gold band on THAT finger with rumors going around that he married rumor girlfriend Katie Holmes. Hmm..

The rumor mill is on fire with rumors that Jamie Foxx secretly got hitched to rumored girlfriend Katie Holmes. Not to mention those pregnancy rumors (that we definitely side eyed).

Well, Jamie made his way to Atlanta yesterday after a Hillary Clinton rally where we noticed he was rocking a gold band on his left ring finger. Yep, that finger.

While aboard the JetSmarter from NYC, sources tell us he was in great spirits telling jokes and even hopped on FaceTime with fellow flyers’ families.

About that gold band -- word on the curb is that Jamie, 48, and Katie, 37, got married under the radar recently after years of speculation that they were a couple. Neither has confirmed or denied their relationship status, but Jamie is definitely rocking a band on the “wedding ring” finger.

Not only that, OK! Magazine claims Katie is pregnant! We’re not totally buying that. Jamie's rep issued a statement to GossipCop regarding the pregnancy rumors and said it's "not true." But no word on those nuptial rumors...

Wednesday night, Jamie was busy campaigning for a presidential hopeful.

The comedian/actor/singer hit the stage with adorable daughter Annalise Bishop and a few other kiddies at Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton’s “I’m With Her” fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall. Hillary was celebrating her big caucus wins in seven states after Super Tuesday.

Soulful songstress Andra Day also delivered a powerful performance at the rally.

Looks like Amber Rose has a new crush...and her crush seems to be crushing right back.  Deets on the baller she's gone from Instagram to real life with inside...

Meet Terrence Ross, the 25-year-old (she likes 'em young) Toronto Raptors baller who won the Slam Dunk challenge at NBA All-Star back in 2013.

Amber said in a recent interview she's not interested in dating rappers anymore.  So, naturally, it looks like she's moved on to athletes.

Last night, Amber was sitting courtside in the 6 (pictured above) at Terrence's basketball game cheering him on as he scored on the Utah Jazz.  She even posted a cute little video of him making a shot, complete with three smiley-face-with-hearts emojis. Check it:

Terrence also signed a three-year, $33 million contract extension with the Raptors this past November.

The much anticipated "Underground" tells a story, with a twist, of slaves escaping via the underground railroad set against modern music, with the series and the music executive produced by John Legend & his Get Lifted label.   So celebs made their way to the Theatre At The Ace Hotel in L.A. to help the cast and crew celebrate.

Journee slayed the red carpet in these killer shoes.  Love 'em!  We know she's making her big brother Jussie proud with this powerful new series.

Jurnee posed it up with her hottie co-star Aldis Hodge, who also starred as MC Ren in Straight Outta Compton.

This series is definitely a good look for him.

Academy Award and Golden Globe-winner (and nine-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter if we're going to run all the credits) John Legend snapped a pic with the leading actors as he and his Get Lifted label are executive producing "Underground." Get Lifted is also overseeing the score, soundtrack and all music aspects of the series (which will include Hip Hop).  Nice!

Jurnee's fellow leading actor in "Underground," Alano Miller made a colorful arrival with his date for the night DeWanda Wise.  Interesting...

"American Horror Story" and London Has Fallen star Angela Bassett and her "The People vs. O.J." star husband Courtney B. Vance were front and center to support their fellow YBF actors.

Rihanna just nabbed her second British Vogue cover.  This time, she's bringing more than just her pretty face.  She made a huge announcement in the cover story.  Get it inside....

After unveiling her Fenty x Puma collection at NYFW last month, and teaming up with high end sock company Stance to create her own sock collection, Rihanna has now entered a six-shoe collaboration with elite shoe designer Manolo Blahnik. 

The "Work" singer made the huge announcement in her April 2016 cover story forBritish Vogue, on newsstands March 10th.

This isn't seem like any ol' regular shoe collaboration, though.  It involves thigh-high crystal trimmed denim boots that look like chaps.  So we can only imagine what the other five designs, with all six collectively dubbed "Denim Dessert," Rihanna created with the brand will look like.

In the issue, Rihanna shows off at least one pair of her favorite shoes from her and Manolo's collaborative collection.  If you have the balls to rock these crystal embellished boots (which hit stores with the rest of the collection on May 5th), you may get a surprise visit from an ecstatic Rihanna.

The pop princess tells British Vogue:

"The day I see a woman in the street wearing my shoes... I am sorry for that woman because I'm going to literally run after her, shouting, 'Stop! Selfie! Who are you? Where did you get them?' I'm going to have a moment!"

But she advises against wearing any of her designs on a date, because you may be in danger gurl!

"Depends on what kind of date you are trying to have.  Guuurrrl! Those boots are dangerous! If you're trying to get back home to your bed, don't wear them boots! You will get kidnapped in those boots, those boots are trouble."

As for where RiRi gets her enviable style from, she credits her mama Monica:

2016 is officially lit with surprise music and such.  Kendrick Lamar just dropped a new surprise album (which features one surprise producer in particular) called untitled unmastered.  Deets inside...

First, the Grammy slayage.  Now this.

K.Dot's new 8-­song project features studio versions of the untitled songs Kendrick performed on The Colbert Report, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and at the 58th annual GRAMMY Awards show, plus a few we haven't heard yet. They've simply been called untitled 1, untitled 2, and so on. 

Now, he's whipped up an entire album of untitled tracks and released it with no warning just minutes ago.

On the eclectic mix of songs, the reigning king of Compton takes us on a funkadelic meets jazzy meets retro-futuristic journey on the simplified (in name only) album.

As for the surprise producer, it's Swizz Beatz & Alicia Keys' 5-year-old son Egypt Dean!  You can hear Egypt's work, which he did with no help at all according to his dad, on "untitled 07."

As the Golden State Warriors battled the Oklahoma City Thunder for their 44th straight home win, an A-list celeb made his way in the building.

It was none other than Prince!

The Purple One strolled inside the Oracle Arena in Oakland like a straight up OG to check out Steph Curry and the Warriors go head-to-head against Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Who knew Prince was a basketball fan?

The “When Doves Cry” singer is in Oakland following two concerts at the Paramount Theater on Sunday. He’s set to hit the stage at the Oracle Arena tonight.

By the way, the Warriors defeated the Thunder, 121-106, for their 44th record tying 44th straight win at home. Congrats to the team!

In other sports news....

Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor was seemingly racially profiled after trying to get information on a Washington gym (Redmond Athletics Club) Wednesday evening. Kam says two women gym employees called the police on him because they assumed he was trying to rob the gym. Sighs….

He took to his Twitter to share the encounter tweeting (read from the bottom up):

Apparently, Kam and a few of his friends were outside of the building knocking on the doors and looking inside. Kam was just trying to get information on how to purchase the property after it was shut down earlier this week. While the gym was shutdown, there were still people working inside.

Police released the 911 call from the gym employee who called Kam and his friends “bad news” and alluded that the individuals outside the building could be "homeless kids" or "heroin addicts."

Kam -- who attended Virginia Tech before being drafted in 2010 -- created fitness bootcamps for women that are pretty popular in Washington.

Now, the owner of the gym, Ryan Neal, has released a statement saying his employees did exactly what they were supposed to do. He said:

"We regret this unfortunate incident but completely support the actions of our employees. Our team responded in a manner as instructed by me under the guidance of the Redmond Police Department. We always err on the side of caution when an individual or individuals try to gain entry to the club unannounced. We have recently had attempted break-ins and still have members' property in the club that we need to protect until returned. I have confirmed with Redmond PD that our employee response was appropriate, given the situation, but we are nevertheless conducting a review of the security footage to ensure their response was appropriate. As the owner of the Redmond Athletic Club, I have attempted to reach out to Mr. Chancellor to discuss his interest in the purchase of the club in a traditional business discussion. If Mr. Chancellor or anyone else is interested in the club or our equipment, they can reach out to me directly or attend our public auction in April."

We would co-sign this if they would have done the EXACT same thing for 2-3 "clean cut" white men who were also knocking on the window.

Bobbi Kristina's father Bobby Brown, who will become a dad again soon, issued a statement regarding his daughter's autopsy report being released today. As expected, he's pissed. The Wrap released his statement:

“For news affiliates to seek and obtain my daughter’s autopsy report, before anyone has been brought to justice for her death is mind blowing to me,” said Bobby.

He continued:

“First and foremost, 23 years ago today, Bobbi Kristina was born. Krissy will always live in my heart and soul. I love my baby girl. Please pray for my family,” he added.

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s full autopsy report has been released today which marks what would have been her 23rd birthday.

TMZ got their hands on the autopsy report by the Fulton County Medical Examiner where it was revealed BK's cause of death was lobar pneumonia and encephalopathy -- meaning her lungs filled with water and her brain was injured.

She died due to "Immersion of face in water complicating mixed drug intoxication." The reports revealed the drugs found in her system were marijuana, alcohol, a cocaine-related substance called benzoylecgonine, benzodiazepines (prescription anti-anxiety meds) and morphine.

You’ll recall, Bobbi Kris was found submerged under water in her bathroom on January 31st. She was found by her then boyfriend Nick Gordon.

Sounds very similar to the way her mom, the iconic Whitney Houston, passed away when she was found submerged under water in the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11th before the Grammys.

Bobbi Kris was put on life support until her family decided to take her off and she passed away on July 26th in hospice care.

The results were being held because the Fulton County D.A. thought it would interfere with an ongoing criminal investigation (the death was ruled a homicide) into whether Nick had anything to do with her death. A judge decided to release the report after Atlanta station WXIA argued its First Amendment rights.

This news could help Nick Gordon from being criminally charged, as the medical examiner could not determine if her death was “due to intentional or accidental causes." But, Nick still faces a $40 million wrongful death lawsuit brought on by BK’s estate.

In other news....

We know how Nina Simone’s daughter and the estate feel about the upcoming biopic NINA. Now, Nina’s brother Sam Waymon is speaking out.

According to Sam, he says his sister would be pissed if she knew Zoe Saldana (of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent) was made up in “black face” and a prosthetic nose to portray her. TMZ reports he said "painting up" a light-skinned actress is insulting, and "raping Nina's legacy."

Sam then suggests a few actresses that could have played Nina, including Viola Davis or India Arie. This news comes days after Nina Simone's estate blasted Zoe on Twitter. If you missed it, get those deets HERE. 

[UPDATE]:

So that clap back from Nina Simone’s estate at Zoe Saldana on Twitter wasn’t Nina’s daughter Lisa Simone Kelly? That's what she's saying.

The singer’s daughter told TIME magazine she was unaware of the tweet and that they had hired a family friend, Aaron Overfield, to manage the official website and Facebook page years ago. Still no official word on who runs the verified Twitter account.

While Lisa said she didn’t post the tweet, she still doesn’t support the film. She told the publication Nina Simone’s family is NOT upset with Zoe Saldana, but they certainly don’t support the film, especially since they claim the estate was never asked to be involved.

“It’s unfortunate that Zoe Saldana is being attacked so viciously when she is someone who is part of a larger picture,” said Lisa. “It’s clear she brought her best to this project, but unfortunately she’s being attacked when she’s not responsible for any of the writing or the lies.”

Well there you have it. Are we buying it?

The “Empire” cast just wrapped up filming the second half of the second season of their hit FOX series. Get your laugh on inside at the funny behind-the-scenes clips and pics they shared while celebrating....

As we patiently await the return of “Empire,” the cast just wrapped up the finale episode!  But first, a lawsuit.  These days, it's basically how a show or a person knows they're poppin'. 

Today, news broke that a man named Timothy Levi filed a $1.5 billion copyright infringement lawsuit in a Virginia federal court.  Sheesh!  He alleges the plot of "Empire" too closely resembles his 2007 book, Unity Incorporated: The Mastermind.

Just how similar are the two works?

Accroding to The Wrap:

Among the similarities between the two works, according to Levi, are the lead characters. Lucious Lyon, played by Terrence Howard, is a prominent record company owner with a troubled childhood and drug-dealing past, just like the protagonist of Levi’s novel, Anthony Lewis.

Both stories also allegedly contain a storyline about three African-American men who became friends in their teens, and one is murdered by the lead character, forcing the other to testify against him in court.

Hmmm.  Sounds like basic character and story descriptions that are in PLENTY of books and screenplays.  Levi is demanding an injunction and his billion and a half in damages.  Good luck with that.

The "Empire" squad shared pics and videos from their last day in Chicago this week, and we couldn’t stop laughing at all the tomfoolery that went on.

Your fave chocolatey treat, Taraji P. Henson, shared this fun selfie on the set with co-star Terrence Howard “creepin” in the background. And that’s not all Cookie was up to on the set. Remember those battling videos Jussie Smollett& Taraji have been sharing that catch the cast sleeping between scenes? Well, Taraji’s at war again with her camera phone. She already got back at Jussie during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”

Now, she’s getting revenge on her other on-screen sons, Bryshere “Yazz” Gray and Trai Byers.

More Issues Than Vogue drops March 25th. Will you be copping it?

Another album dropping on the 25th....

If you follow Lil Wayne or 2 Chainz on social media then you know the twosome has been working on a new project together. And now, their new joint musical offering is here.

It appears Wayne and Chainz have formed a supergroup of sorts called ColleGrove. Apparently, fans have always wanted the two to join forces and now they are making it happen for them. The rappers released their debut, self-titled album today, which is available on iTunes, TIDAL, and other music streaming services. The physical copy will be released on March 25th.

A few days ago, G.O.O.D. Music honcho Kanye West released the cover art a few days ago via his Twitter announcing the project was coming today.

In collaboration with their new LP, they’re also releasing a new video today for their track “Bounce.” It will make its debut on MTV, MTV.com and VEVO at 7:55 PM EST.
