Chile, the Brits went and cast a white man to play Michael Jackson for an upcoming British tv series.  Get their unintentional shade inside, and Angela Bassett's epic response....

If you've seen Shakespeare in Love, you've seen Joseph Fiennes (who played Shakespeare) and your'e well aware that he's a white Britishman.  So why would he be cast as Michael Jackson in an upcoming British tv special?  Shade! 

Fiennes will play the late Michael Jackson in a half-hour comedy special set to air on Sky TV entitled "Elizabeth, Michael, and Marlon."

The show will also star Brian Cox as Marlon Brando and Stockard Channing as Elizabeth Taylor.  The premise: A comedy telling the story of how Michael, Marlon and Elizabeth all took a road trip together out of NYC to escape 9/11.  Huh?!

According to Vanity Fair, Elizabeth's friend Sam Kashner said in his book, Elizabeth Taylor’s Closing Act, that Liz told him this car trip actually happened.  Apparently, Michael was having concerts at Madison Square Garden September 7th and September 10th, so he invited his friends Marlon and Liz to attend.  Here's what the publication says was in the book:

All three found themselves trapped in the city after the Twin Towers fell. Michael had gotten a call from friends in Saudi Arabia who warned that America was under attack. He hollered down the hallway of his hotel for everyone in his entourage, and for Brando, to leave immediately. Elizabeth was staying at another hotel, the St. Regis, a few blocks away. Now here’s where the story gets complicated. In one version, these three towering icons of American pop culture planned their escape, afraid that they would be the next target. Michael and Brando had trouble leaving their hotel garage because fans kept banging on the car windows, following them down the street, screaming. Unable to fly, they drove out of the city.

Fast forward to this now becoming a tv special.  And Joseph has now been cast as Michael.

When news hit the net, actor Orlando Jones said he'd rather Angela play Liz, since color is obviously no barrier.  Her response:

Paparazzi flocked to him to find out WTF was up with him, of course, but he wasn't here for it.  He went off about "already saying what he had to say."

He had THAT look...that same look from when he previously beat down a paparazzi videographer.  But randomly, something made him flip the switch and then he became the most polite guy on earth.

Right before Rihanna's Anti album embarked on its surprise (and slightly messy) release late Wednesday night, she was spotted kicking back in a t-shirt and jeans at her L.A. hotel, the Sunset Marquis.  She looked to be joking around with her security and hugging friends good bye before leaving.

Toni Braxton is finally speaking out and clarifying a couple things from the Unbreak My Heart biopic.  And you may be shocked to hear what she had to say about L.A. Reid.  Get it inside, plus she's selling her Calabasas mansion for millions....

Toni hasn't said why she's selling the single-story French Country farmhouse McMansion, but if all the other times she sold her homes is any indication, she likely wants to free up some cash.

Thursday night at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica, the brand new cast of "Celebrity Apprentice" was unveiled.

As for who's taking over Donald Trump's spot: Arnold Schwarzenegger is the new host.

The cast and crew are moving production from NY to LA, and things are going to get interesting.

The 16 contenders are: Laila Ali, Brooke Burke-Charvet, Eric Dickerson, Boy George, Matt Iseman, Carrie Keagan, Carson Kressley, Lisa Leslie, Jon Lovitz, Vince Neil, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Kyle Richards, Chael Sonnen, Porsha Williams, Ricky Williams and Carnie Wilson.

They pulled a few heavy hitters as advisors: New mom Tyra Banks (we see she's not slowing down as much as we thought she was), Jessica Alba, Warren Buffett and more.

Rick Ross apparently made his 40th birthday party the place to do whatever the hell he wanted.  Because last night at his Atlanta estate, he had multiple women -- exes and currents -- front and center at his black tie affair. 

Pics and video have been circulating of the rapper pulling up to his own party with his ex, Shateria, on his arm.  So who was the girl with the exact same off-the-rack Balmain dress on as Shateria? His new chick Cortney!

Here's what we've exclusively learned: Rick and Cortney have been dating for about a month.  She is from Philly (he likely met her there while visiting his homie Meek Mill often) and has been staying with Rick at his home in Miami.

She's a 24-year-old aspiring model, as they usually are.  Sources close to Cortney tell us, she thought for sure she was his next big thing after his recent break up with Lira Galore. 

We're told Rick brought her to Atlanta for his big bash, stashed her in his estate (the same place the party took place), but was M.I.A. all day on his birthday yesterday.  Cortney allegedly told folks on her styling team that he told her he would be "staying at a hotel with some 'friends'" and to "meet her at the party."

Chile...

Despite internet chatter that Ricky himself put Cortney and Shateria in the same Balmain dress, that's actually not exactly the case.  Cortney was given a few funds to go buy herself soemthing nice, so she and her "stylist" trekked it to Neiman's in Atlanta and bought the Balmain dress, which was marked down to a few thouand bucks.  Shateria just so happened to purchase and wear the exact same dress.

When Rick made his arrival with Shateria, Cortney was at the door and saw the entire hoopla happen in front of her eyes.  We're told she couldn't hold back tears and fled to cry in a corner while being consoled by Ricky's security.  Eventually, security escorted her out of the party!

But that's not all, we're told Rick had a few other girls he's been "seeing" at the party too.  Even his ex, actress Kimberly Elise, was in the mix!

Shateria stayed at the party and remained unbothered.  We're told she actually was completely unaware of Cort's presence or existence.  The fashion maven was captured on Rick's snap arriving in his car to the party:

Jussie Smollett is opening up about his sexuality in the newest issue of OUT magazine. Inside, he talks about being a gay man with an open heart…so open that if he fell in love with a woman, he wouldn’t totally rule it out.  Highlights inside….

“Empire” breakout star Jussie Smollet went from being known as Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s brother into a bonafide star in the last year. When “Empire” hit primetime television, it instantly transformed into a hit series on the FOX network, breaking records week after week.

On the show, Jussie plays Jamal Lyon, the gay middle son of a Hip Hop family empire who yearns to become a big superstar. Once folks learned Jussie’s character was gay, everyone was wondering…Is he gay in real life too?

With so much speculation surrounding his sexuality, Jussie decided to address it on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last March, saying he was never in a closet and that he preferred to keep his personal life private.

"I was ready to talk about it,” Jussie told OUT magazine. “She [Ellen] told me, ‘You don’t have to.’ I will be forever grateful to Ellen for the kindness she showed me. And that made me want to talk about it.”

In the newst issue of OUT magazine, he opens up like never before and is totally transparant about his sexual life.

“I am a gay man with an extremely open heart,” he says, easy and assured until he’s asked to elaborate on what that means to him. “God, I’ve never had to talk about this, so I’m trying to find the words. If I had to label myself, I would label myself as a gay man. With that said, I believe that love is the only thing that matters, and I would hope that anybody would leave themselves open — not to gender, but to love. "

Jussie then reveals he hasn’t completely ruled out women. He said if he happens to fall in love with a woman, then he’s going to be with that woman.

“I would hope that people would not close themselves off from what could be if, lo and behold, you meet somebody that just sweeps you off your feet, and you just can’t do anything about it,” he said. “If we truly believe that we are born this way, then why do we try to stifle the way we were born? If I fall in love down the road with a woman, I’m going to love that woman.”

Well ladies, it looks like you MAY still have a shot, if you want one. He went on to say,

“But this is a conversation that deserves to be had, because we don’t all understand each other. You’re not going to tell me that loving someone is wrong. That does not mean that heterosexuality is not very real. It does not mean that bisexuality is not very real. It does not mean that homosexuality is not very real. They are all very real. But what I’m saying is, I am a gay man. I am a gay man. I am a gay man. I don’t know how many times I have to say that.”

As far as his coming out, he had tons of support from his real family and also his on-screen family. Golden Globe winner Taraji P. Henson offered up some advice to Jussie, straight talk, no chaser.

“She said, ‘Who gives a fuck? I don’t tell these motherfuckers that I’m straight. Why the fuck do you have to tell them that you’re gay?’ That was so O.G., and it just made me love her even more.”

Loves her!

In the interview, Jussie noted was dating a guy, whom he called a “wonderful person,” over the past year, but it seems they may have called it quits. He said,

“I have way too much love to give not to find my baby for life, but I don’t think now is the time.”

The 32-year-old actor ended the interview with another gem saying,

“I don’t believe that we were created to hate. I believe that we were created only to love. Love is the root of the happiest of times and of wars. Love, or lack of love — but love is the root of everything.”

Well this interesting. The Academy Awards is working overdrive to bring some diversity to this year’s #OscarsSoWhite ceremony nabbing Whoopi Goldberg and Kevin Hart to present. Get the deets on the black presenters and performers they have nabbed inside…

Ever since the Oscar nominations were announced, talk about diversity in Hollywood has been the hot topic of discussion everywhere. YBF Celebs are boycotting, others have publicly said they’re not boycotting, and everyone has an opinion about people of color being seemingly snubbed by the Academy Award.

Now, in the midst of all the controversy, the Academy is (not so) subtly making strides in trying to make this year’s #OscarsSoWhite more diverse.

Remember when we told you the Oscars were scrambling to enlist a few prominent black presenters to pass out awards? Well, it looks like they’ve accomplished their goal.

According to THR, “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg and Ride Along 2 star Kevin Hart will be among the presenters who will be handing out Oscars at the 88th Academy Awards. As for the performances, they’ve tapped Pharrell Williams and The Weeknd (whose song "Earned It" was nominated for Best Original Song) to rock out on stage during the ceremony on February 28th.

Also, Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs recently pledged to doubling the number of women and diverse members of the Academy by 2020.

Interesting. So we have to ask, is now throwing in a few black presenters and performers enough?  Or is it a slap in the face?

Remember when "LAHH" star Benzino got shot at his mother's funeral...by his own cousin?!  Well for the first time he's opening up about it on TV...and he broke down crying.  Get it inside...

Another night, another overly emotional night in the "Marriage Bootcamp" house.  on tonight's episode of "Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars," the couples are trying to get down to their sources of hurt and forgiveness.  The way Benzino and baby's mother Althea Heart have been fighting -- and we mean FIGHTING (Althea tried to beat Zino down in their bedroom on camera!) -- we're sure their sources of hurt are freaking huge.

So, while working on forgiving, Benzino revealed he was ambushed by the gunman -- his nephew -- who shot him on the day of his mother’s funeral.  Tragic.

Iconic songstress Aretha Franklin is gearing up to launch her own food line. And she’s set to take down all of the competition. During an interview with Detriot’s Local News 4 Today, Aretha revealed she will be coming out with her own pies, PLUS some of her other famous dishes such as her chili, gumbo and baked chicken and dressing. Yum!

When asked if she has tried any of Patti LaBelle’s sweet potato pies, she responded, “No, I haven’t. But, Miss Patti is going to have to move that pie to the side!”

The Grammy Award winning singer said she has already met up with a food group in Phoenix to start developing her line of food. No word yet on a release date.

We wonder if Aretha will find the same success as Patti did after her superfan James Chanel Wright gave her the review of a lifetime. They should host a cook-off to see who would reign supreme. We'd be here for it.

Y’all are not going to believe this ish. We’re having a hard time believing it ourselves. Word on the curb is that Amina Buddafly allegedly revealed she’s PREGNANT again during a taping of “Love & Hip Hop: NY” last night. And, of course, it’s Peter Gunz’s baby. Deets inside…

“LAHH: NY” sisterwives Amina Buddafly and Tara Wallace are committed to the fullest extent to keep an interesting (and kinda sick) storyline.

There are rumors floating around on social media that Amina, who is married to Peter Gunz, revealed she is 3-months pregnant by Peter after supposedly having an abortion. You’ll recall, she revealed on the show a few weeks ago that she had an abortion because she was finally fed up with Peter’s ish and wasn’t taking him back.

Well, that all went out the door, likely when she found out his other baby mama, Tara Wallace, is pregnant by Peter. (In case you missed her pregnancy shoot, check it out HERE).

According to ThaCelebritea, someone tipped them off that Amina made this revelation during the taping of the “LAHH:NY” reunion show last night. Then, this picture of Amina (above) popped up where folks are saying she has a baby bump. *turns head sideways * Hmm…

The person who posted the picture is singer-songwriter Rell Cox. He was tagged in the picture posted on the IG account.  When we went to his account, the picture is no longer there. Hmm…wonder why he deleted? By the way, he recently made his account private as well.

Then we came across a few flicks of Amina performing at The Bitter End nightclub in NYC a few nights ago. In the picture below, there doesn’t really look like much of a bump there:

In another flick from the show, her husband Peter was spotted in the mix. He came out to support his wifey...so maybe they're on good terms again?

But, chick has been dropping subliminals rocking a lot of flowy tops lately...

But a week ago, she didn't look bloated in the abdomen area. So, we're not exactly if she's really pregnant or not. What we do know is, the truth will come out soon because Amina probably can't wait to get back at Tara publicly. That's just how basic this whole situation is.

MMG honcho Rick Ross rolled out the red carpet for himself as he celebrated his 40th birthday with an extravagant bash held at his massive Georgia mansion (former home of Evander Holyfield). It was a star-studded affair with plenty of his celeb friends.

FYI -- In case you missed all the drama surrounding Rozay bringing his ex-chick Shateria (above) and his new chick Cortney (both wearing the same dress) to the party that resulted in one of them crying in a corner…click HERE.

Rozay pulled out all the stops offering an entrance of white horses, a late night Waffle House eatery display and pours of free-flowing Luc Belaire bubbly, which was paired with the evening’s dinner feast. Before everyone left, Rozay gifted his guests with personalized magnum sized bottles of Belaire Rosé and hot Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Ha!

The soiree was a black tie affair and everyone came dressed the part. Married couple Monica and Shannon Brown brought the coupledom fab as they arrived on the red carpet for the birthday bash.

The CODE RED songstress kept it smoking hot in a Yousef Aljasmi gown and a Pologeorgis fur. YAS!

O, heeeey Keri! Singer-songwriter Keri Hilson popped up in this colorful sequin number that showed off her killer legs with a high split and a little cleavage peaking through a plunging neckline.

Reality star Joseline Hernandez sure had her lady lumps on display in this yellow printed gown. We’ve actually been feeling Joseline’s more “polished” looks lately, but it appears she may be reverting back to her old style, just a tad.

Rapper Ludacris left his wife Eudoxie at home and hit the party solo, looking dapper all dressed up. 

Music industry titan Jermaine Dupri posed it up before hitting the 1s and 2s.

Kerry Washington had loads of fun accepting her Pudding Pot Woman of the Year award at the Hasty Pudding Theatricals yesterday. After clowning around (throwing pie and wine in the face of a Donald Trump look-a-like), she got serious and dished on the Oscars controversy. Find out all she said inside….

EMMY nominated actress Kerry Washington had one of the best times accepting an award yesterday. The “Scandal” star trekked it to Harvard University to accept the 2016 Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Award at the 2016 Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the university's prominent theater troupe, in Boston, Massachusetts.

The 38-year-old star, who celebrates a birthday on Sunday, received a grand welcome as she was paraded down Massachusetts Avenue surrounded by Hasty Pudding men dressed in drag.

Once inside Farkas Hall....

The YBF actress participated in a roasting with the Harvard students for their annual spectacular production. She kept it cute in an all black ensemble. Styled by Erin Walsh, Kerry rocked a lace Self Portrait top, a leather skirt by Sea New York, Isabel Marant booties, and Jennifer Meyer jewels.

During a segment in the production, Kerry brought the laughs as she got the chance to throw a pie and wine in the face of a Donald Trump look-a-like. Hilar! Check it:

The fun continued as Kerry helped spread Neutrogena (whom she is a brand ambassador for) cream all over a student's chest, hurled popcorn and popped ballons:

On a more serious note, Kerry joined in on the Oscars lack of diversity conversation and gave her opinion. And now, she will not be boycotting this year's ceremony. When asked if she would be skipping out on the Oscars, she said, "I don't think so, no."

Kerry then said she’s glad the diversity conversation is happening because everyone’s voice should be heard. "I'm really excited that the conversation is happening," said Kerry. “It needs to happen, and the Oscars are a symptom of a larger issue. We need more voices at the table. We need our art to reflect all of us."

In other Kerry news, the "Scandal" star and her former NFL baller husband Nnamdi Asomugha found someone to cop their Hollywood Hills home after it being on the market for two years. And they nabbed a come up. The couple purchased the home for $1.8 million in May 2014, shortly after they welcomed their baby girl Isabelle. The house was sold for a million dollar more at $2.6 million. Nice!

What in the SAM HELL is going on in Hollywood these days?!  An allegedly drunk Blac Chyna was just arrested in Austin after running on a plane and attempting to fight a flight attendant.  This, all after meeting with the Kardashian family sans new boyfriend Rob this morning.  The foolywang details inside...

We're not sure if the "family meeting" this morning drove this girl to knock back mad drinks, but Rob Kardashian's new girlfriend Blac Chyna (government name Angela Renee White) was just arrested for public intoxication AND drug possession.  Her bail is set at $8000.

The Austin Police Department already has her mugshot on display after the stripper turned eyelash queen was doing the most on a stopover on her way to London just hours ago.

The 27-year-old baby's mother of Tyga was allegedly drunk and belligerent after hopping off her Delta flight from LAX and changing planes in Austin.  Here's what TMZ says went down:

Chyna was busted in the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Friday afternoon. Cops tells us, she was on her way to board her connecting flight to London when she started getting loud. She stormed toward the gate, got on the plane and screamed at a flight attendant, "Nasty ass bitch!"  

That was enough for cops ... they got on the plane and arrested her on the spot. 

An eyewitness tells TMZ, Chyna appeared "heavily intoxicated" and was "fighting" with a flight attendant, acting "like a drunken fool." Another eyewitness says, at one point she screamed, "Y'all got no respect for me. I gotta tie my shoes. Let me tie my Yeezys." 

This sounds like a bad reality show, so we can't help but wonder if she and her new boo Rob are trying to get one.

Since Chyna had more than a gram of drugs on her, but less than 4 grams, she was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.  She's still currently in jail.

By the way, Chyna met with members of the Kardashian family today in L.A. (above) before she left for the airport.  No word on all that went down, but we do know Chyna and that family have supposedly been at each other's throats all week.

Sadly, we sorta saw this coming.  You know, with Mike Epps's wife catching him publicly trying to slide into a random chick's DM's and all.  Now, Mike has filed for divorce.  Details inside...

According to docs filed in L.A. Superior Court this week, "Survivor's Remorse" star Mike Epps filed for divorce from his wife Mechelle, just six months before their 10 year wedding anniversary.

The couple has two children together and Mike is asking for joint custody.  The Bessie star reportedly revealed he's worth $6 million, and we're sure that number is going to skyrocket after his multitude of projects make their debut.  Mike is set to play Richard Pryor in the upcoming biopic about his life, he'll be staring in the lead role in ABC's upcoming "Uncle Buck" sitcom his new movie Meet The Blacks hits theaters April 1st.

It's all unfortunate.

Soon, though, Michael will be able to slide into as many DM's as he pleases...
