Lisa Bonet Rocks A Sun Hat In LA + North West Leaving Ballet Class With Her Auntie & Cousin + Gabrielle Union Leaving An Interview

 photo lisansdfdddfs.png

We've got a roundup of some of our favorite YBF chicks.  We spotted Lisa Bonet, Gabrielle Union and little North West. More inside...

 photo lbonet1.jpg

When Lisa Bonet realized it was going to be a sunny day, she reached in her closet and got her biggest sun hat.  And we're here for it!

Jason Momoa's lady was seen hopping out of her car will rocking a mix of pinks and fuchsia yesterday and it was.....interesting.  But if you recall her 80s/90's hippie days, this has somewhat always been her style.

 photo lbonet2.jpg

While Lisa has kept a relatively low-profile most of her career (she was never the clubbing, wild type), she's been particularly silent since the Bill Cosby scandal hit its peak.

Up to this point, Lisa has never spoken directly about the scandal, but we got a hint into what she "feels" via daughter Zoe Kravitz talking to The Guardian UK a few months ago. When asked if she and her mom had spoken about Mr. Cosby, Zoe said,

"She’d plead the fifth, even to me. I think she’s just staying out of it. She’s just as disgusted and concerned as everyone else is, but I don’t think she has any insight. It’s news to her as well.”

Interesting.

 photo lbonnet4.jpg

Little North West had a rough day at ballet class yesterday.  And she was in NO MOOD for pictures.  Did that stop the folks from taking her photo and violating her space?  Of course not.

 photo KourtneyKardashianTakesPenelopeNorthBalletqjrOEZPH_Ogl.jpg

North had attended class with her cousin Penelope, the daughter of her Aunt Kourtney (above).  Hmm....Penelope seems a little annoyed too.  Who teaches their class?  Abby Lee?????  These little girls are under too much stress!

 photo KourtneyKardashianTakesPenelopeNorthBalletf9u8ni2003xl.jpg

It looks like North cried all the way to the car......but she looked cute though!

In New York City.....

 photo lbonnet3.jpg

Gorgeous actress Gabrielle Union was spotted on another round of press in NYC.  We've been posting about Gabby a lot lately, and it's because "Being Mary Jane" is about to start again (October 20th).

 photo lisabonnet12.jpg

The folks at BET's publicity department have been keeping her booked.  Earlier, she did a round of interviews at the AOL offices followed by an appearance on "The Meredith Vieira Show."  Before that, she's already done TODAY Show, Jimmy Fallon, Huff Post, and "Live With Kelly & Michael."

 photo lbonnet7.jpg

In each of her interviews, we've noticed a recurring theme: motherhood.  It really seems like kids are on Gabby's mind and though she and Dwyane co-parent his little ones.  She may be ready to pop out one herself.

MORE LAMAR ODOM UPDATES: Master P Slams Kobe Bryant As A Phony For Not "Saving" Him + Lamar's Baby Momma, Kids And Dad Arrive At The Hospital

 photo LamarOdomLamarOdomWorksUpSweat0Wm9uYdnks_l.jpg

We've got more updates about Lamar Odom's situation as one of his most vocal mentors is calling out the publicity-seeking folks camped around his bedside.  More inside...

 photo Screenshot 2015-10-15 07.52.45.png

We are closeely monitoring the Lamar Odom situation, which we began reporting on earlier this week.  To catch you up to speed, Lamar was found unresponsive in a Nevada brothel called the "Cathouse" with fluids running from his nose and mouth.  He was taken to Las Vegas' Sunrise Hospital where sources said it "did not look good" and he'd suffered severe organ failure, brain damage and is on a ventilator.  See that posting here.

Since the tragic event happened, the Kardashians (Khloe, Kim and Kris) have rushed to Lamar's bedside....and they were followed by tons of paparazzi.

Lamar's ex-teammate Kobe Bryant also flocked to his bedside.  Now....here's were it gets messy.  Rapper Master P says he's been a mentor to Lamar for many years and he does not trust the sincerity of any of the people we just mentioned.

In a video captured and posted by TMZ, Master P GOES IN on Kobe, calling him a "phony" who could have saved Lamar from his path of destruction.  He says all Lamar ever wanted to do was play basketball and Kobe could have snapped his fingers and made that happen...but he didn't.

Master P also claims that the Kardashian family got Lamar blackballed from the NBA.  How so?  There was a time when the NBA didn't want anything to do with the Kardashians.  My my my.....how times have changed.

Watch Master P go "off" about Kobe Bryant and The Kardashians below:

In other updates, we've learned that Lamar's baby momma (the one he dumped to marry Khloe) Liza Morales has arrived in Las Vegas with their daughter Destiny (17) and son Lamar Jr. (13).  The Daily Mail is reporting that Khloe paid for their tickets!  Did she do that because Lamar isn't taking care of the family he left behind?  See pictures of Liza and the kids arriving here

We've also seen that Lamar's father went to the hospital too.  After his visit, he was spotted at a local "big and tall" store buying a suit?  Ummm.....why is Lamar's daddy buying a suit?  See those pics here.

Meanwhile, Rev. Jesse Jackson told the NY Post"He’s got tubes in him now, but we felt inspired by his presence.  We’re just holding hands and hoping he can bounce back.”

Story developing....

 photo Screenshot 2015-10-15 09.09.38.png

Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs has a new ABC pilot coming to TV.  We'll give you the deets inside and you can check out Tracy Morgan's "SNL" promos.

In addition to his various liquor companies, a two-album deal with EPIC, and the release of his single "Workin," we've learned that Sean Combs has a new tv venture too!

The REVOLT leader is working with ABC Networks to develop a series tentatively titled "The Hustle." It's going to be a single-camera comedy directed by Jeremy Garelick (The Wedding Ringer) and inspired by the real-life events of Sean's right-hand woman, his assistant Sarah Snedeker.

The premise is that a small-town girl lands a job working as an assistant to a street-educated billionaire business mogul where she is instantly thrown into a foreign world of extravagance, debauchery and adventure.

ABC execs are excited about the pilot and there's already a script commitment on the table.  Diddy will receive executive producer credit....

Coming this weekend...

Tracy Morgan will make his return to SNL this weekend where he visits the show as host.  Tracy, who spent 7 years on the series before starring in "30 Rock," picked the SNL gig as his first acting performance since a fatal six-vehicle crash left him hospitalized for week back in 2014.

The promo was typical Tracy, a mixture of frat boy humor and plain silliness.  First, cast member Bobby Moynihan says "Tracy, it's such an honor to have you back, man," and Tracy replies, "Back where? Did I use to work here? Can't remember anymore…"

Later in the promos, Tracy boasts he's going to "get everyone in this building pregnant."  Tracy will be joined by musical guest Demi Lovato on Saturday night at 11:30ET.

Mathew Knowles Opens Up About All Things Destiny’s Child, “Beyonce Bootcamp” & Managing Nas On “The Breakfast Club”

 photo mttk.png

Mathew Knowles stopped by “The Breakfast Club” to drop a few Destiny’s Child nuggets and plug his new book. Find out what he said about that alleged “Beyonce Bootcamp” where he supposedly charging $200 a class, managing Nas’ career and much more inside…

Mathew Knowles, the man behind mega girl group Destiny’s Child, has a new book The DNA of Achievers: 10 Traits of Highly Successful (which drops today), so he’s on the promo trail to plug his newest literature on how to make it in the music industry.

Beyonce’s dad stopped by Power 105 “The Breakfast Club” to chop it up with the radio hosts about all things Destiny’s Child. He opened up about how he left Corporate America to get into the music industry after realizing that was his true passion. He talked about how Destiny’s Child came about and the many name changes throughout the years. They went from “The Dolls,” to “Cliché’” to “Something Fresh” and then “Destiny.” They then had to change their name again to Destiny’s Child after learning there was a gospel group with the name Destiny. He spilled some luke warm tea on whether a Destiny's Child reunion in is in the works and if a biopic will be done on the hit group.

Mathew then opened up about the rumors that he was conducting a “Beyonce Bootcamp” where he would charge participants $200 a session to become the next “Beyonce.” There's no "Beyonce Bootcamp," but if you're looking to sit in on a seminar of his, it's going to cost you a cool $1,500. He also talked about that alleged Destiny’s Child yard sale that rumors alleged he was selling their memorabilia because he was strapped for cash. He said that’s so not the case.

The 63-year-old educator talked about how he felt when Bey brought Jay Z home for the first time, managing Nas’ career, the infamous ELEVATOGATE and how he would feel if one (or more) of his grandchildren decided they wanted to be in the music industry. But don't ask him about getting a Houston stripper pregnant...he wasn't here for it.

Below are the highlights:

On when Destiny’s Child tried to part ways with him:“I’m still the manager of Destiny’s Child and I own the trademark. I’m a co-writer for Survivor and other songs, so I get publishing."

On charging $200 to turn artists into the next Beyonce:“No someone came up with the name Beyonce Boot Camp, which is not what it is. I give seminars on the entertainment industry. There’s a whole review of my seminar on MTV.com. I’ve taught at Texas Southern University for 8 years. I’m an educator. When you come to my class, you don’t come to my class for free. You pay $1,500 to take my class. I have to put Beyonce in the title so that I can get search engine optimization. So I can get numbers so that I can sell advertising."

On his Destiny’s Child yard sale: “I have a block in Downtown Houston 62,500 square foot lot. I have recording studios, House of Deron media center, Rice Mansion is a venue etc. Then we have Carriage House where we have a lot of old stuff collecting over the years. One of my staff members came up with the idea to sell some of the stuff over the Holidays. If I was going to sell something, I would sell my watch first or this really nice jacket. Nobody’s going to sell a $5 t-shirt. Only a kid would believe that kind of stuff.”

On if a Destiny’s Child biopic is in the works: “I hope so. That I am working on. I don’t think its too early. They have soo much because they started so early in life. This goes back to when they were 8-years-old and now they’re 34."

On a Destiny’s Child reunion: “Obviously one day it’s going to happen. We don’t want to see them doing some of those dances at 50 do we? I know I don’t. I know I sure don’t want to see some of them at 50.”

On if he still manages Beyonce: “No. I think she wanted to run her own business. We taught both of our kids entrepreneurship. At 30 years old, you’re a grown a** woman and want to do your own thing. I’m happy that most of her team worked for me and I trained them. She took that team and that’s who’s working for her. I’m proud of what she’s done as a business owner and what Solange has done as a business owner.”

On if he’s close to Beyonce & Solange and why he’s never photographed at family functions:“Yeah [we’re close]. I don’t need to be in a photo. Most of the time I’m in the background making sure everything else goes right.”

On the first time Beyonce brought home Jay Z:“I just looked at him as a man. I didn’t look at him as a rapper. I just looked at him as a young man my daughter was in love with. If she’s happy, I’m ecstatic and we keep it moving.“

On how he felt about Solange attacking Jay in the elevator: “I thought it was a great jedi-mind trick.”

On managing Nas: “Did you know that I once managed Nas? His only #1 record he’s ever gotten in his career I was managing him. Stillmatic, his last album at Columbia before he went over to Def Jam."

On why he and Nas parted ways:“It was a thing about finance where I wanted 20% commission and he wanted to offer 15%. I couldn’t change on that because my daughters’ was 20% and I couldn’t look at them and give somebody else anything. And I would never do that.”

On getting a stripper pregnant in Houston:“We’re not going to talk about that. We’re going to stay on the business side.”

On social media backlash:“I don’t even read social media. I’m too busy reading books. When you’re 63-years-old do you care what a 23-year-old say?”

On if his grandkids wants to get into the music industry: “If they’re passionate about it, I support it totally.”

Drake Spills On His Love For Art + Music, Gushes Over Toronto Chicks & Talks Hitting The Hollywood Scene In W Magazine

 photo dw1.jpg

Drake is back with another candid interview about his life revolving around music and art, how he handles pressure, his love for Toronto chicks and getting back on the acting scene. Get the highlights from his W magazine interview inside….

2015 is going very well for Drake, proving he’s still the man when it comes to this rap -ish. Thanks to his surprise If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late LP, he was the first artist to sell a million copies this year. Following that, he dropped a surprise joint mixtape with Future “What A Time To Be Alive” that climbed to the No. 1 spot on iTunes. And not to mention, he bodied Meek Mill….TWICE.

Styling in an Elder Statesman sweater, the Young Money artist artfully covers W magazine’s Art Issue captured by Brooklyn artist KAWS. In the issue, four different artist also interpret the Canadian rapper, including Katherine Bernhardt, Mark Flood, Henry Taylor and Jim Joe.

The 6ix God has been on this art kick after luxury art auctioneer, Sotheby’s, summoned him to create a soundtrack for an exhibition and private sale of works. The artwork for the auction was produced by important African-American artists, including Theaster Gates,Wangechi Mutu, David Hammons, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

The former “Degrassi” star dishes on returning to the acting scene…but he doesn’t want to do television. Drizzy has his eyes on Hollywood. The “Back 2 Back” rapper also gushed on his love for a Toronto chick, how he handles pressure, and his purpose in life.

Below are the highlights:

On his new love for art: “The art at Sotheby’s moved me like a song would,” Drake said. “I saw music in those paintings. I now try to treat each single as a piece of art. I try to attach the sound that I’m making to an image in my mind.”

On getting back into acting: “I can’t wait to get back into acting,” Drake told me. “No one ever asks me to do movies, and, although music is my focal point now, I’d love to do a film. That was the life that I lived before, and it would be interesting to live it again.”

On how he transitioned from acting to music:“Back then, I’d spend a full day on set and then go to the studio to make music until 4 or 5 a.m. I’d sleep in my dressing room and then be in front of the cameras again by 9 a.m. Eventually, they realized I was juggling two professions and told me I had to choose.” Drake laughed. “I chose this life.”

On his love for Toronto girls and never leaving his hometown: Most people I know stay in Toronto. I plan to spend the rest of my life there. The talk, the smell, the sound that comes out of that city is home to me. When I think about the girls I want to get romantic with, it’s a girl from Toronto who knows what I’m talking about when we drive around the city.

On his purpose in life: Realizing that I had a larger purpose was one of the most comforting, peaceful feelings. With music, especially, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m a vessel to deliver emotion to people. I want to provide the background music to your life as you live it. I’m there for you in heartbreak and tragedy and joy. The thought of being remembered is what keeps me going. What I was trying to say is, the negatives don’t matter—it’s history that counts. At 19, I was just really, really excited to be in the room. Everything was romantic then. Now, nearly a decade later, it’s a bit different. I have to speak against negativity and conflict. There’s so much bullshit that you’re forced to address, but it’s okay. I’m afraid I sound boosie.

On how he handles pressure: Actually, I love pressure! I’m always thinking, How do I top what I’ve done? How do I make this thing stronger? I ask myself, “Why does Adele’s album go diamond, and how do I do that? How do I create art that makes minds stretch further?” I want to give many, many people many, many moments before I’m gone. That’s truly the art of what I do. It’s the only goal.

"Hit The Floor" is headed to the basketball court for a new season. Watch the trailer inside and get the deets on what happened when a high school teacher appeared in a Trey Songz video.

One of our favorite series, "Hit The Floor" is set to return for a third season on Monday, January 18 at 10/9c, and we've go the latest trailer.  From what we've learned, there's been one major addition to the show...celebrity cameos.  Maybe they're trying to keep up with "Empire," but we have insider info on a bunch of celebs stopping by this season.

The famous faces will include  Billy Baldwin (“Gossip Girl,” “Parenthood”), Michael Beach (“The Game,” “Sons of Anarchy”), Andy Buckley (“Odd Man Out,” “The Office”), Jonathan Bennett (“Mean Girls,” “Dancing With The Stars”), Francia Raisa (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager”) and Kim Wayans (“Reckless,” “In Living Color").

As far as the cast goes (pic above) returning series regulars include Dean Cain, Kimberly Elise, Taylour Paige, Logan Browning, Valery Ortiz, Katherine Bailess, Jonathan McDaniel, McKinley Freeman, Rob Riley, Adam Senn, Brent Antonello, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe and Don Stark.

Watch the season 3 trailer here:

In other news......

 photo Screen-Shot-2015-10-15-at-10.png

A principal at a school in Southhampton, NY has been reassigned for appearing in a Trey Songz.  Now....you're likely thinking she was p-popping during one of the pool scenes or sliding down a pole during one of the clubs scenes.  But she wasn't....

Peep the pic above.....that's Esther Adler-O’Keefe.  In the video for "Best Friend" she played a woman going on vacation with her husband, and leaving their house in the hands of Trey Songz.  She had six lines.

An article in Newsday confirmed that Esther has been reassigned (she was not fired) to “oversee a variety of academic support services throughout the district” because of her brief cameo in the music video.

The school district issued a statement about the video and their reason for reassigning the principal saying,

“The video in question showcases behaviors and language use that is not promoted by the Southampton School District.  In fact, we actively teach our students the importance of good character and making smart choices. Additionally, this is not representative of who we are as a district, nor of our students and staff.”

The article went on to say that Ester claims she never knew what the video was about, or the lyrics and content.  And we believe her....it's not like we can imagine her hanging around the set.

Oh well.....at least she still has her job.

EBONY Magazine’s Controversial #BlackFamilyIssues Cover Starring A Shattered Family Portrait Of The Huxtables

 photo ebnew1.jpg

This month’s cover of EBONY magazine will surely have you talking. Let’s discuss inside….

EBONY magazine is touching a nerve with their newest magazine cover. And it’s definitely one to get the conversation on social media going.

For EBONY's November 2015 issue, the publication will be touching on everything about the Black Family, the ups, the downs...everything. So who do they choose to put on the cover? "The Cosby Show.” But it’s the way the photo is edited that has some up in arms…and some bestowing its praises.

A throwback promo shot of Bill Cosby, Phylicia Rashad, Lisa Bonet, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Tempestt Bledsoe and Keshia Knight Pulliam was used as the cover…but it's shattered…as if to symbolize a family that was once a powerful force is now broken. In the November cover story, Cliff-hanger, Daily Beast editor-at-large Goldie Taylor, explores the intensely complicated relationship between the fallen icon, his beloved character and the broken hearts of Black America. The issue will also touch on tips for how Black families can best support an LGBT loved one, a loving reflection on the Obama family and a celebration of RHOA's Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker's blended family bliss and more.

Back to the cover...

Some folks are calling the cover EPIC while others feel the cover is in poor taste. Some feel that what Bill Cosby did in his personal life had NOTHING to do with the “Cosby Show” and should not taint everything the show accomplished. Remember, this was an iconic family in the black community. A black family tha was once shown in a positive light during the Reagan era, when the war on drugs and the plagues of crack cocaine and AIDS were destroying the black community now considered a broken home because of one man's mistakes. Others feel, Bill (and apparently the show) deserves the negative attention due to him feeling entitled to allegedly have sex with women without their consent.

So we want to hear from you. SHOULD the Huxtables be brought down due to Bill Cosby’s alleged sex scandal or should the show still be held in the same regards as it once was held within the black community?

SPEAK ON IT!

Beyonce Covers BEAT Magazine + Zendaya Channels Grace Jones And Other Hair Icons For "Mane Addicts"

Beyonce covers the latest issue of BEAT Magazine while Zendaya channels a few hair icons for a new spread.  See their pics inside...

 photo BEAT_16_COVER1.jpg

BEAT magazine, a free music paper based in the UK, has landed Beyonce for it's latest cover.  The photo was shot by Ryan McGinley in the Hamptons and shows Bey in a red and white striped swimsuit while standing in front of the American Flag.

The issue drops on October 21st and you can check out more on their website in a few days.  As far as new information goes, Beyonce doesn't do interviews so there's nothing new there.  But we love the pic.

In new photo spreads....

 photo Screenshot 2015-10-15 15.59.01.png

Actress Zendaya Coleman is known for switching up her hairstyles. And in honor of her ability to be a chameleon, she's teamed up with Mane Addicts for a tribute to iconic hairdos.  Of the many looks (below) one of our favorites is Grace Jones.

 photo Screenshot 2015-10-15 16.00.09.png

Larry Sims, the shoot's director and hairstylist. explained a few of the looks in the article attached to the spread.

“This last look was all about Grace Jones. It was an old style, a high top fade. It was an homage to the era Zendaya grew up in. She’s so in tune with what’s new, what’s fashion, but the high top fade is so left from what she’s done before.”

 photo OZWJrdI.jpg

For this one, Larry said,

"The next look “was inspired by shapes and texture. I wanted to do a twist on what an afro looks like…[and Zendaya] is a perfect canvas. She allows you to just go for it and when you think you’ve gone too far, she pushed you to go further. In this business it’s hard to stay inspired. I just feel so lucky to have such a creative muse who trusts my vision. I didn’t use any products except some shine spray and I cut the hair with clippers. For this kind of shape, it needed to be really defined, and I wouldn’t have been able to sculpt it the same way with shears. There’s a symmetry you can create really well to get those perfect straight lines with clippers.”

 photo yZ9yv0z.jpg

We're loving the Diana Ross tease too!

"And then Zendaya channeled Brooke Shields and Diana Ross, with “80’s supermodel inspiration. We used two wigs. I cut into them both a bit to shape, then secured them with pins. I used color spray in Zendaya’s hair to blend them with the wigs. We teased it with the height and just went there! Threw a little wind on it and it was good to go!”

"“The theme of the shoot felt like going through different decades of beauty,” Larry explains. “Zendaya is fearless. She’s a creator’s dream. Inspired by Cher, we wanted to create the bone straight, parted down the middle, chic vibe. It could be described as a modern day Janis Joplin. We kind of did a version of this at the AMA’s a few years back when she wore an all-white ensemble, but we haven’t revisited it for quite a few years.”

 photo tipb.png

T.I. is apologizing again over his sexist comments about a woman president in a new video message. His wife Tiny even joins in on the conversation. Meanwhile LaLa and Carmelo Anthony do a cutesy date night in NYC. More inside….

We brought you Tip’s first apology via Twitter after he made those racist remarks about not voting for a female president. Now, he’s personally addressing the issue to his fans and via a new video clip.

In the clip, Tip apologizes once again (with no PR people around) for his insensitive comments. He reassured everyone he never intended for people to take his words literally. He said,“I know better than that. I know that my daughters as well as your daughters can lead this nation, as well as any other nation as long as they apply themselves, educate themselves and motivate themselves to do so.”

He went on a platform where they talk about a lot of outrageous topics, have a lot of barbshop topic and say some things that are borderline inappropriate for more laughs and shock value. He said this time he reached for a joke that was in very poor taste. He said that is not a reflection of how he feels or of who he is. He said he’s holding himself accountable and that his intentions were to only be humorous and not to be disrespect. Check it below:

TMZ photogs caught up with his wife Tiny at the airport where she revealed her husband CAN be a bit sexist at times but he doesn't do it out of malice. She said he believes women should be pampered and treated as princesses and that's why his statement may have come off wrong. Check it:

Do you forgive him?

We're closely following Lamar Odom's medical situation and our latest update includes statements from Lamar's children, the Kardashian family and his close friend Kobe Bryant.

Lamar Odom's children, Destiny (age 17) and Lamar Jr. (age 13), have broken their silence about their father's condition as he fights for his life in a Las Vegas hospital.

In a statement sent to Us Weekly, Destiny and Lamar said:

"Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends.  We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers."

 photo LamarOdomKardashiansCelebrateKourtneyNA_Zgirh3VGl.jpg

The Kardashian family (whom all flocked to Lamar's bedside to comfort Khloe) also released a statement that was published across their social media platforms.  The family said,

"As a family, we've decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time."

On Twitter, Lamar's former teammate Kobe Bryant expressed his concern regarding Lamar's condition and also threw a jab back at Master P.  In an earlier post, we showed you a video of Master P calling Kobe out for being a"phony" and abandoning Lamar.

As far as Lamar's progress, a source told Us Weekly (on Thursday) that Lamar needs a machine to breathe and doctors "still can't tell what kind of brain damage he has." His brain is swollen, he's on dialysis, and his kidneys also shut down. "Things are not looking good," another source added.

Khloe (who is still legally married to Lamar) is making all of his medical decisions.

Master P Claps Back At Kobe Bryant, “The Truth Hurts” + D.L. Hughley – “It’s Insulting To Tell Someone What They DIDN'T Do”

 photo mast1.jpg

Master P has more to say about the Lamar Odom situation and why he came at Kobe Bryant for being phony. Adding to the discussion, D.L. Hughley chimes in on the unfortunate situation and gives his two cents. Find out what they said inside….

As Lamar Odom’s health seemingly gets worse, there seems to be a lot of finger pointing as to who is to blame for his unfortunate downfall.

Earlier, rapper Master P called out L.A. Lakers baller Kobe Bryant for being a phony and abandoning Lamar. The NBA baller got wind of his comments and responded to P basically calling his words insensitive. Kobe said,“When WE feel the need to question the support of others in moments as critical as a life hanging in the balance, then we must question the kind of culture we have created that has led US to such insensitive suspicion.”

Well now, P is clapping back at Kobe with some truth serum, but he kind of contradicts himself. While he railed Kobe for not being there for Lamar, in his new open letter, he too admits he distanced himself from Lamar as well. He said he got frustrated with his reckless behavior and that Lamar is a grown man and was going to do what he ultimately wanted to do. Hmm…pot? Kettle?

He goes on to talk about how Lamar confided in him revealing all of his NBA friends had turned their backs on him. P said he doesn’t have a problem with Kobe or the Kardashians and would sit down and have a conversation with them if need be. As for why he hasn’t gone to see Lamar yet? He claims he doesn’t need the media attention. Hmph.

Peep his open letter below:

If you're real with someone, you keep it real through the good and bad times. I understand first hand from dealing with my own brother that was living recklessly, I had to show him tough love but I'd never cut him off because we're blood. I'm not pointing the finger at anyone, Lamar's unfortunate situation is a result of his own decisions and actions. I can relate to D.L. Hugley's statement on dealing with family members with addictions, it's draining.

I'm not a phony, I can admit that I stopped dealing with Lamar years ago for those same reasons. Even though I've known Lamar for over 15 years, it wasn't like we were the best of friends. I tried to mentor him and give him advice but he is a grown man and made his own decisions. You can't help anyone that don't want any help and I get that, that 's life. So that's why I stopped dealing with Lamar, it's not like we're blood related where I would have to put up with his reckless behavior. I'm sure Lamar has many people in his life such as family members, friends, colleagues, teammates, significant others who have stopped dealing with him but I'm just not afraid to openly admit it, due to his unfortunate medical situation.

I can also admit that me and my family are far from perfect, we have situations we're dealing with. My prayers are going out to Lamar and his family. I pray that he comes out of this, he may have a rocky past but overall he's a good brother. And the only reason I'm not running to the hospital to visit him, I'm not looking for publicity, I don't need it. Only when I was asked, I stated my opinion on what I knew about this man from the times I was around him.

Lamar complained about how everybody turned their backs on him, even his NBA buddies. But then people blew my opinion out of proportion. I understand that Kobe is one of the greatest basketball players in the world and people are going to side with him. I have nothing against Kobe or the Lakers. I have nothing to hide and I'm willing to speak face to face with anybody, with Kobe or Kardashians about the conversations that Lamar and I have had concerning him trying to get his life back together and getting back into the league.

I'm not about entertaining no mess and I'm only speaking on this because I knew this brother. I hope that if ever I was in a similar situation where I couldn't speak for myself, that somebody would keep it 100 for me. The truth hurts, even in Hollywood.

My condolences to the people that really love him. And I am not trying to question the support of others that are truly grieving; this is a critical, life and death situation. This is only my opinion, it's just sad that last month no one had anything positive to say about Lamar…and that's what I meant by being phony.

Also joining the conversation....

D. L. Hughley responds to Master P's comments "Kobe could have done more with Lamar Odom!" "How responsible are you for someone else's addiction?" #DLQ

Posted by D.L. Hughley on Thursday, October 15, 2015

Comedian D. L. Hughley chimed in on the Lamar Odom situation and he’s responding to Master P’s comments about Kobe. During a segment on his radio show, D.L. tells his listeners anyone who has dealt with someone with a substance abuse problem KNOWS there is NOTHING anyone else can do to save them. Only that person can choose to save his or herself.

He shares personal experiences with a cousin he has who’s struggling with an addiction and he talks about how he has done everything in his power to help him get clean, but it did not work. D.L. says the same thing goes for Lamar. He then says what Master P said about Kobe was insulting because P has no idea WHAT Kobe has done for Lamar. Check it above.

DO WE BELIEVE IT?!: Did Producer Carlos King JACK Sheree Whitfield’s Idea For A New Reality Show...And Was Her "RHOA" Screen Time Cut In Half?

$

 photo shw1.jpg

There’s drama brewing behind-the-scenes of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” with oldie/newbie Sheree Whitfield. Word on the curb is that her screen time has drastically been cut AND we hear producer Carlos King supposedly jacked an idea she had for a new reality show. Decide if you believe it all inside….

When news broke that former “RHOA” star Sheree Whitfield was returning to the show, it was said she had signed a contract to return WITH a peach. BUT, that may not be true.

Word on the curb is that the 45-year-old divorced mother-of-two THOUGHT she was returning as a full-time cast member WITH a peach after the departure of NeNe Leakes, but that may not be the case. A source close to production tells the Daily Mail Sheree's role may be as limited as co-star Demetria McKinney. Yikes. The source spilled,

“Here she thought she was returning to pick up where NeNe left off as one of the original cast members, but now her episodic run is as limited as Demetria McKinney's was last season.”

Get this….

Apparently, Sheree didn’t sign a contract before she began filming for Season 8. Weeks later when she was presented with a contract, it was allegedly for a limited number of episodes. The source claims Sheree will only be featured in 10-12 episodes out of the 24 episodes ordered for the upcoming season. It’s also reported she will NOT be a part of the three-part finale! Oh? Her last scenes involve filming at the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March with co-stars Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks and Peter Thomas (that went down last weekend).

Now…here’s where it all gets even messier…

Sheree supposedly met up with former “RHOA” producer Carlos King earlier this year where she pitched an idea for a new reality show about African-American real estate agents in Atlanta. After leaving “RHOA” three years ago, Sheree got into real estate and met other black women who were doing it big in the industry. She figured Carlos could be the one to help get the show on television and could get her co-executive credits, along with starring in it.

The source claims,

“Without telling Sheree, Carlos started pitching the show to networks and WE TV became interested. He sold them the concept without Sheree's involvement and then had to go back to her with a make-good once he did.”

That’s when Carlos had to get creative and give Sheree something to keep her happy and to keep her from filing a lawsuit against him....supposedly. He allegedly offered to arrange for her to appear on “RHOA” full-time.

WEtv picked up the show and titled it “Selling It: In The ATL” and Sheree was named as a co-executive producer. Since no paperwork was ever developed during their meeting about the show’s concept, if Sheree did decide to sue Carlos it would be hard to prove in court, so she allegedly decided to accept his offer to co-executive produce the real estate show and return to “RHOA.”

We’ve reached out to Carlos, but have yet to receive a response.

“RHOA” season 8 is set to premiere November 8th on BRAVO. And get this, “Selling It: In The ATL” debuts a few days earlier November 5th.

Are we believing it?

Malcolm-Jamal Warner Gets Emotional Discussing Legacy And "Cosby Show" Ebony Cover + Ann Coulter Shuts Raven Symone Down, Leaving Her Speechless On "The View"

A lot of -ish went down on "The View" today.  First, former Cosby Show kid Malcolm-Jamal Warner became emotional while discussing the legacy of "The Cosby Show" and the controversial EBONY cover. Then, Ann Coulter reads Raven Symone for filth.  Watch it go down inside...

 photo Screenshot 2015-10-16 13.13.54.png

Earlier today, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who played Bill Cosby‘s TV son on “The Cosby Show,” appeared on “The View” where he clarified his stance on the classic sitcom’s legacy.

When asked to clarify comments he made to the Associated Press last week (below), Malcolm told the ladies,“I said, ‘Of course it can’t help but be tarnished, because it’s no longer on the air, it’s been pulled off the air.”  Malcolm went onto explain that taking the Cosby Show off the air deprives future generations of positive Black imagery.

“When we had images that perpetuate the negative stereotype of people of color, we’ve always had ‘The Cosby Show’ to hold up against that, and the fact that we no longer have that kind of leaves us not in a great place in terms of having the wide scope of the images of people of color.  Keshia Knight Pulliam said a really interesting thing in that her perspective is the legacy cannot be taken away because all of the good that that show has done cannot be taken away.  The generation of people of color who have chosen to go to college because they watched that show and because they watched ‘Different World,’ you can’t take that away. And I think that was a really good point.”

Then....the ladies put up a picture of the controversial EBONY cover showing a shattered family photo of the Huxtables.  At this point, Malcolm became emotional and said there wasn't enough time to explain what "that" picture and image conjured up for him. It was an intense moment.

Then Raven chimed in saying"Let's not forget that The Cosby Show was a sitcom and not a reality show.  Let's just remember that this was a sitcom and we had writers and things of that nature."

Say what now?  Of course we all know that The Cosby Show was a sitcom!  In the context of what Malcolm had just expressed, we're not sure what Raven meant by that, and her strange commentary continued into the Ann Coulter segment....

Watch the Malcolm interview here:

BONUS:  Listen to Malcolm's original Associated Press interview here ...

Earlier, we told you about an awkward exchange between Raven Symone and Ann Coulter....fasten your seat belts.

Conservative political pundit Ann Coulter swept into "The View" after Malcolm's segment and managed to do something uncanny...she left Raven Symone speechless.

We've sat by watching Raven make cringe-worthy comments for the past several months, but today, she ran up on the wrong chick.  While discussing a variety of topics including immigration and Donald Trump, Raven attempted to "read" Ann about her abrasive rhetoric...but Miss Ann had NO TIME for games.

Shady Raven told Ann that if you don't have anything nice too say, you shouldn't speak at all.  Then she slipped in a snarky question, “Why do you think it’s important to mudsling?”  Without missing a beat, Ann brought up Raven's idiot "Watermelondrea” comments from a few days ago.  She said,

“I’m at least talking about policy. You have a position on what people’s names should be. Watermelondrea. I’m talking about a government policy that affects all Americans and immigrants and the people living here, and is harming our country. So you don’t follow [a no-mudslinging policy].”

And with that.....a hush fell over Raven.  It's the first time we've ever seen her speechless.  Check it out above.

Good news! New reports suggest Lamar Odom is now conscious and breathing on his own. More inside….

If the most recent reports about Lamar Odom’s condition are the truth, it looks like thing are on the up-and-up for the former NBA baller.

According to ESPN and Entertainment Tonight, Lamar is conscious and breathing on his own. He reportedly opened his eyes and was able to communicate to doctors at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas today.

ET reports:

According to Alvina Alston, a spokesperson for Odom's aunt, JaNean Mercer, the 35-year-old athlete was able to open his mouth and speak on Friday. When his doctor asked how he was doing, Lamar gave a thumbs up and responded, "Good morning."

A source in the hospital dished the good news to ESPN senior writer Ramona Shelburne. She reports:

Lamar Odom is conscious and breathing on his own in a Las Vegas hospital and has spoken a few words, a source told ESPN on Friday. Odom no longer has a breathing tube, the source said. He is wearing a breathing mask and remains in critical condition, however.

Three days ago, Lamar was found unconscious with fluids running from his nose and mouth at the Love Ranch in Nevada. It's being reported he spent $75K over a four-day stay where he allegedly overdosed on "herbal style Viagra." Drugs were reportedly found in his system as well.

After suffering several mini strokes and having to beput on a ventilator due to severe organ failure, sources say his condition has been improving slightly over the past 36 hours, but he’s being kept sedated to keep monitoring his organs functions.

Lamar’s children, 17-year-old Destiny and 13-year-old Lamar Jr., along with their mother Liza Morales have been by his side after flying from NYC on Wednesday. Lamar’s still legal wife Khloe Kardashian (along with her sisters and mother) has also been by his side since he was admitted. We hear doctors have ordered no one access to his room except Khloe, but we can’t confirm that.

Prayers still going up for Lamar.

In new music....

#BlackLivesMatter

In new music releases, R&B crooner Usher and rapper Nas have teamed with singer Bibi Bourelly for “Chains,” a powerful new song to raise awareness for the victims of racial injustice and police brutality.

The audio track is accompanied by “Don’t Look Away,” an interactive experience that uses facial recognition technology with a camera-enabled device.  Viewers will be able to look into the eyes of the unarmed victims and control the video stream. The song will immediately stop if the viewer turns away. In a press release accompaying the song, Usher explained why he felt motivated to speak out against injustice.

“In writing this song, I was motivated by the events involving prejudicial injustice that are still happening today.  The reality is that racial bigotry diminishes the lives of too many people in our country. We have to come together as a country to solve these problems and this is one way I can contribute.  I chose to introduce the song through the ‘Don’t Look Away’ experience because it is important not only to feel the issue but to face it. The pain and suffering that these victims and their families have endured is something we must never forget. When we look away from this problem it gets worse. To fix it, we have to face it.”

Whoa......the concept and production value place into this song is intense.  If you'd like to check it out, its available exclusively on TIDAL.

Usher will perform “Chains” for the first time at the "TIDAL X: 1020" concert in Brooklyn later this month.
