Happy Birthday Serena Williams!

Rather than hit the party scene to ring in her birthday, the tennis champion opted for some rest and relaxation in a pool for her 34th (Sept. 26th). The fit and toned tennis champ posted an utterly hot shot of herself emerging from the pool in a black and gray one-piece showing off her killer bod.

The 21-time Grand Slam winner deserves every bit of her mini vacay after one hell of year in the tennis world. Remaining as the No. 1 ranked female player, she took home the Australian Open, French Open, Miami Open, Cincinnati Masters and Wimbledon.

On top of an amazing year in her career (thus far), her love life has gotten very interesting with rumors (which we can pretty much confirm by now) that she's dating Young Money rapper Drake. The 6ix God has shown major support of Serena as she dominated the season cheering her on from the stands. The couple has also been spotted getting EXTRA cozywith one another and we even spotted Rena celebrating with Drizzy's mom. Yep...it certainly appears to be getting serious, although neither have confirmed or denied.

She also released a new HSN collection which shepresented at this year's New York Fashion Week. And Drizzy was there the entire day. We love it!

In other news....

Kanye West threw a small fit during a performance over the weekend.

‘Ye hit the legendary Hollywood Bowl stage Friday night to perform his entire platinum selling album 808s & Heartbreak. The problem? His mic started going out during his performance of “Amazing,” which caused him to stop the show right in the middle.

Yeezy yelled, “Just stop the track...stop the track,” frustrated that he was having technical issues. He made light of the situation saying, “This is the best dress rehearsal I've ever had.”

Once the issue was resolved, Ye eventually jump started the show and finished his entertaining set. Check it above.

According to TMZ sources, Kanye was late for rehearsals the night before and since there was a noise ordinance in effect once he arrived, he was told to go back home. Bloop.

In the audience….

Cutie North West was having fun with her auntie Khloe Kardashian munching on some ice cubes as she watched her pops on stage. Adorbs! We see she's still rocking her flash jewelry too.

Y'all...Momma Dee got arrested this weekend.  We've got the deets inside...

We've been waiting for her to chime in with a sermon about her arrest, but it has not yet happened. 

According to reports, Momma Dee, mother of Lil Scrappy and "LAHH ATL" star, was arrested this weekend in Milwaukee for "fraud on inn keeper - nonpayment."  What is that, you ask?  Fancy terminology for dinin' & dashin'!

Yesterday morning, Dee was arrested and locked up for a few hours before posting $250 bail.  That was only half the dinner bill so we bet she regrets not double checking that thing was paid before she left.

According to TMZ, who also released her mugshot (above), the arrest stems from Dee's birthday dinner at some Milwaukee location with family and friends.  Allegedly, when the $500 bill arrived, everyone left with the bill left unpaid!

Oh, guess who she was partying with in Milwaukee:

Yep, Shay "Buckeey" Johnson!  Her son's ex-boo.

No one should have to pay for their own birthday dinner, so maybe Momma Dee thought one of her friends "had it."  Apparently, they didn't.

Interestingly, in addition to TMZ's report stating it was Momma Dee's birthday being celebrated, Shay posted on Friday that they were headed to Milwaukee celebrating her own aunt's birthday.

British hottie Chiwetel Ejiofor seems to have split from his Canadian girlfriend Sari Mercer.  He even has a new woman on his arm already.

The Oscar nominee has been hitting red carpets and events solo dolo for most of this year, which is interesting because he brought Sari to almost every event previously.

Now, we know why.  We hear The Martian star broke up with Sari recently, which would explain why he was spotted holding hands with a new woman this weekend:

The twosome were spotted outside of their downtown Manhattan hotel yesterday looking quite happy.

As for Chiwetel's recent break up, a sources told The Mirror UK earlier his month:

"It's sad but the relationship came to a natural end. Sari was always such a big part of his life so it was definitely a big surprise to hear they had separated."

The gentleman above is the son of R&B crooner Carl Thomas.  He recently headed to his school's homecoming and his "Emotional" dad wrote "My LiL Dude on his way to his Homecoming! Jesus be a Fence..."

And here's another one!  Carl also posted a throwback photo of his son.  "This Is my Sister Kita And that Young Man you all just saw going to Homecoming the Other Night. CRAZY!!!!"

She and her siblings flew to Miami to surprise Weezy and they brought Popeyes chicken and 7-11 slurpees for the turnup.

On Friday, singer August Alsina groped a female fan’s breasts during the Freebandz Music Fest in Baton Rouge. In the video below (via Balleralert) August stands behind the fan and slowly moves his left hand up and down her left breast before attempting the touch her right breast.

The fan, who is clearly uncomfortable and embarrassed, covers her right breast with her own hand to prevent the singer from any further "touching" without her consent. SMH....

Miko Grimes, the wife of Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes, found herself in an unfortunate situation yesterday, resulting in her being pinned down to the ground as handcuffs were thrown on her wrists. Find out how she got there inside….

The very outspoken wife of Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes found herself in a world of trouble with police yesterday, resulting in her arrest.

Miko Grimes, a local radio sports talk show host and obviously die-hard Dolphins fan, was arrested Sunday before the Dolphins hit the gridiron against the Buffalo Bills (FYI--the Bills murdered the Dolphins, 41-14). According to the Sun Sentinel, Miko was put under arrest after attempting to walk through an area the police had restricted for crowd control.

Now…according to witnesses on the scene, Miko was supposedly told several times to NOT walk through the area, but she kept going anyway. That’s when cops swooped in and tried to subdue her. Unfortunately, that’s when it got even crazier.

An officer grabbed her by the arm where she then snatched away from his grip and started yelling obscenities. Then, officers reportedly tried to subdue her when she resisted and while doing so, she allegedly head butted an officer. During the altercation she was threatened to be tased with a taser, where she finally calmed down.

Miko was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting with violence. She was taken down to the Miami-Dade County jail where she was booked and later released on bond. While in jail, she was treated for injuries to her right arm, knee and forearm.

Chris Brown's team is shooting down rumors that he's been banned from Australia while singer Sisqo is claimed a company owes him millions in royalties.  More inside...

The Internet was inundated with a rumor that Chris Brown (shown above with Royalty) had been banned from Australia for brutally beating ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, but his team says it isn't true.

His manager, Mike G, says Chris has not been denied entry to Australia and has visited the country twice since his conviction for assaulting Rihanna. His announcement is an attempt to squash rumors the Australian government had rejected Chris' visa application ahead of his planned tour later this year.

In an Instagram post, Mike G said, 'The request is currently being considered by the office of the Immigration Minister. 'Contrary to media reports Chris Brown's request to enter Australia on tour has not been denied. We respect their right to review this request and have faith that a decision will be made with the full consideration of his continued personal growth, ongoing philanthropic endeavors and desire to perform for his fans.'

If his Visa is approved, Chris will head to Australia on his "One Hell Of A Nite" tour in December.

He is scheduled to play four shows; in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth, as well as taking the stage at the Vector Arena show on December 18 in Auckland.

Singer Sisqo (of the group Dru Hill) has filed a $3.6M lawsuit of "Thong Song" royalties. The R&B singer (shown above during a #FBF photo from the "Thong Song" days) claims the company he hired to collect his royalties still owes him money.

He says he hired 27 Red Music to collect royalties from various music publishing companies for all his music released between 1996 and 2005.....but they failed to hand over $600,000 to him!

In his legal docs, he's asking for all his monies plus interest! We hope he gets it....cause his "Thong Song" days are long behind him.

Rapper Fetty Wap is hot in these streets right now, burning up the radio and music charts with hits like “Trap Queen” and the Drake assisted “My Way.” He also released his self-titled debut album last week where he was gearing up to hop on the promo trail to promote his LP. But, unfortunately, tragedy struck.

If you haven’t heard, the Patterson native was involved in an accident on Saturday where he was hit by an automobile while riding his motorcycle (which he as a license for by the way). Pictures of Fetty laid out on the ground quickly spread around social media. Soon after, his DJ posted a pic to assure everyone he was doing fine.

But before he was involved in the incident, he stopped by Power 105 to chop it up with “The Breakfast Club” about his new found stardom, what life is like living with one eye and, one topic that caught our attention, his hair!

During the interview Fetty revealed he rocks hair extensions. And they’re not any old hair extensions. For his blonde dreads, the New Jersey rapper used hair from a woman in his neighborhood that he says inspires him to be better. He dished to the radio hosts,

“She was a real powerful woman to me. She was always uplifting kids in the area and bringing them school supplies. To be honest with you, every since I [got my extensions] I just been making different type of songs. I don’t know how to explain it.”

So how did Fetty actually get her hair?

“Naw she ain’t pass away. She just cut her hair off. After she cut it off, I told my cousin ‘I’m about to get extensions. I don’t care. Now my hair has grown into it.”

Interesting.

After hitting up the NY Jets vs. Philadelphia Eagles game earlier in the day, R&B crooner Usher hit up the 53rd New York Film Festival to check out The Martian premiere held at Alice Tully Hall last night.

The “Good Kisser” singer brought his rumored new wife Grace Miguel along as his date for the evening. This is the first time they have been spotted together since news broke that they reportedly got married. Neither of them have confirmed or denied the rumors (yet), but we definitely see that ring sitting on her ring finger.

Once on the carpet, Usher (who was cutting up in the audience with Jay Z at the Global Citizens Festival) flashed his pearly whites for the cameras before checking out the flick with his lady. Fun times.

This past Friday, NBA Hall Of Famer and living legend Scottie Pippen celebrated his 50th birthday at Miami hotspot El Tucan with major celebs like Fantastic Four star Michael B. Jordan and tv host Terrence J.

Scottie, who helped take the Chicago Bulls to several championships, hooked up with Haute Living magazine and watchmaker Hublot to create the atmosphere.

And of course....you need a few famous people too. Former "RHOA" star NeNe Leakes came out to celebrate with Scottie.

And it looks like living in Los Angeles has been good for Gregg's waistline!

By the way, Nene is great friends with Scottie's wife Larsa. Larsa was a member of the failed series "Real Housewives Of Miami."

While we didn't spot Michael Jordan anywhere, the bash brought out Scottie's former teammate Dennis Rodman.

Retired NBA player Charles Oakley (of the NY Knicks & Chicago Bulls) was also among the party people.

Down in Atlanta, Sheree celebrated with realtor Gwen Boyd-Moss (above) and a few of her friends for her birthday at upscale lounge Topgolf Atlanta last night. The ladies were all smiles throughout the night as they shared laughs and cocktails to ring in Libra Season.

Realtor Gwen Boyd-Moss will be starring on WEtv’s new reality show “Selling It In The ATL.” The Carlos King-produced show will follow a group of real estate entrepreneurs who sell multi-million dollar mansions and run their own businesses. Now they might be on to something if the drama is kept at a minimum, which we doubt will happen, but nice to see women in powerful positions running ish.

The new reality series is expected to air on WEtv beginning this November. Will you be tuning in?

And in case you missed it....

R&B crooner Tyrese has been hinting at starring on the hit FOX series “Empire.” And now, we finally have confirmation that he will be actually on the show AND who he will play.

During a sitdown on "The Wendy Williams" show last week, Black Ty wasted NO time to let everyone know “he’s coming soon” when asked if he would be appearing on the show. He will play Taraji P. Henson/Cookie Lyon's love interest. He confirmed,“Yea me and Taraji, we have to do what we do. I’m coming to get my girl back. All them dudes on there kissing on my girl. I’m kind of done with seeing all that. You know this chocolate is spreading [laughs]." YES! Baby Boy's Jody & Yvette are reuniting and we're SO here for it! Peep his interview above.

Former Danity Kane songstress D∆WN has moved onto the third installment of her album trilogy, kicking off The Red Era with a new single, “Dance.”

The danceable track is produced by Noisecastle III and Swagg R’Celious and was written by hitmaker Ester Dean.

Dawn opened up to Rap-Up about the single saying“I wanted to create a vibrant atmosphere. The Red Era is about moving on, redeeming yourself, and finding redemption. It’s time for people to start feeling good and start embracing who they are while dancing in their own light. That time is now … Let’s DANCE!”

Listening to the single, you'll notice that the song is a bit more radio friendly than her previous efforts. Dawn explain the switch-up saying,

“This last era will be more mainstream than I’ve been in a while. It’s vibrant and it’s fun. I’ve been dark for a while, so I’m in a really happy place and I can’t wait for the next chapter.”

The Red Era launches in 2016.

Actress and rapper Lil Mama is releasing a mixtape named Tape Me Back and this week, she released the second single "Too Fly."

The single is built upon a sample of DJ Kool’s “Let Me Clear My Throat,” with LM spitting bars like:

“If I was born in Trini and moved to the states, with the rage I make I would have got deported/And the stunts you be pulling, like you bloody, bloody mad/Till I smack you with the pad when I’m writing these anthems.”

The song follows her viral single "Sausage" which dropped a few months ago.

In other news...

Kanye West has signed up to perform for some deep-pocketed Democrats.

He is scheduled to joined President Obama on Oct. 11th at a fundraiser in San Francisco for the Democratic National Committee. The afternoon concert will take place at the Warfield, a 2,300 seat venue and will run folks between $250 and $10,000.

Kanye, who is allegedly gearing up for his own run in 2020, will reportedly perform material from his forthcoming album Swish.

After a memorable performance at the Hollywood Bowl over the weekend, Kanye West decided to hit the studio in L.A. today. And, of course, his pregnant wife Kim Kardashian West tagged along.

We wonder if the G.O.O.D. rapper is working on new cuts for his upcoming LP, tentatively titled SWISH. No word on when he plans on dropping the new album since he said in a recent interview it’s going to come out whenever it’s ready. No telling when that may be.

In the meantime, Ye is gearing up to perform before President Barack Obama and a room full of a Democrats. Yeezy has signed on to perform for the Democratic National Committee on October 11th in Sand Fransisco to help raise some funds for the party.

RiRi is busy hopping all over the world shooting her MAC campaigns, DIOR campaigns, PUMA campaigns and the list goes on.  So one may think being #Booked is the reason there's no accompanying cover story like Drake had. 

The pop star did, however, rock a photoshoot that lasted from morning through night.  Oh, and she even turned the camera on herself while in a studio beneath the iconic Hollywood sign.  FADER says:

...Contributing photographer Renata Raksha set up a series of shots that would capture Rihanna in ways that showcase the superstar as she sees herself. For a selection of images, and for the first time in The FADER's history, Raksha handed Rihanna the shutter release, giving the artist the opportunity to collaborate with the photographer, and snap the second cover of the publication's 100th issue.

As for her cover story, the story is that there isn't one. It seems as though RiRi has gone the BeyBey route when it comes to being radio silent when it comes to formal interviews.

FADER explained:

If this were a normal story, I’d tell you what she ordered if we’d gone to Giorgio Baldis, her favorite L.A. restaurant, even though she pretty much always gets the same thing (fried calamari and pasta with tomato sauce). I’d tell you if she smelled like Reb’l Fleur, her old fragrance, or, if she’s wearing RiRi, and what that smells like. The story wouldn’t be so much about what she said in response to my questions—Rihanna is media-trained—it would be about registering any silences. Or flickers of eyelid. Or churlishness. Or evasiveness. It would be reading tea leaves. It makes you wonder why any savvy celebrity would ever agree to an interview, and understand why in this case Rihanna did not.

FADER said they did email Rihanna 5 accompanying questions, but she didn't answer them.  Why?  Because she doesn't have to.

Ciara jetted from Milan to Seattle to cheer on her boo at his Sunday night football game.  Check the pics inside, plus CiCi and Russell Wilson having a celebratory dinner with Baby Future...

Ciara was all about #3 on Sunday, her man Russell Wilson.  CiCi showed up at the Seahawks' stadium to cheer Russell and the team on to a WIN.  She posted pics in the VIP box with Russell's little sister Anna and their other friends.

Ciara said, "Good Times With Some Of The Best Girls I Know #Family #GoHawks."

Afterwards, the Cavalli model and the star QB headed to dinner to celebrate.  Baby Future was in tow and they looked like a happy little almost-family:

2015 Emmy winner Uzo Aduba, actor Samuel Jackson and business mogul Magic Johnson were all spotted out on the town last night. Find out where they were inside...

Last night, Uzo Aduba, who won 2015 EMMY for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, attended the 9th Annual Exploring The Arts Gala in New York City.

The event was founded by Tony Bennett and his wife Susan Benedetto, a former public school teacher, to transform the lives of young people through arts education.

The multi-talented actress, who revealed on "The View" that she's a classically trained singer too, also hit the stage to perform.  Chick is so talented.

Uzo also performed with the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, a performing arts high school in Astoria, Queens.  Nice!

After her show-stopping performance, Uzo took a few fun selfies with actress Courtney Reed.

Across town.....

Actor Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson joined Cookie and Magic Johnson on a double date to the 2015 American Theatre Wing's Gala at The Plaza Hotel.

The Jacksons & Johnsons, who often travel the world together, were on hand to support the legendary James Earl Jones, who was honored at the gala. 

We have a feeling their double dates look like pure wealth anywhere they go...

Over the weekend, Kelky was spotted backstage at Kanye West's Hollywood Bowl concert with Mrs. West and company.

Kelis was busy promoting her new cookbook My Life On A Plate.  Her pregnancy didn't stop her flow.  Chick threw on her overalls and hit up SiriusXM studios to chat it up with Bevelations host Bevy Smith.

Then she was on the move to HuffPost and the SoHo House for a meeting in the meatpacking district:

By the way, she made the most of her time in NYC traffic.  Her hairstylist Maisha Oliver whipped out the curling irons to perfect her coif in the car:

So…did Kim Zolciak-Biermann FAKE her health scare to get out of “Dancing With The Stars?” Wendy Williams seems to think so. And Kim does not appreciate the shade. Find out how she blasted Wendy on social media and check out her elimination from the dancing competition inside….

Reality star and “DWTS” contestant Kim Zolciak-Biermann is in the headlines over her short lived stint on the dance competition show.

If you haven’t heard, Kim was rushed to the hospital last week after suffering a mini-stroke moments after hopping off of a plane, resulting in the left side of her body becoming completely numb and unable to speak. Once treated at the hospital, Kim snapped selfies of herself lying in the hospital bed, which she shared with her fans on Instagram.

Fast forward to the “Wendy Show’s” Hot Topic segment yesterday. Wendy starts serving up her opinion on what’s really going on with Kim. As a former contestant on “DWTS,” Wendy believes Kim may have faked the stroke to get out of the show because of its grueling demands.  And Kim's super low (and possibly embarrassing) scores are not helping.

Kim got wind of Wendy’s comments and took to her Instagram to blast the daytime talk show host. She posted an email that was sent to her from one of Wendy’s producers asking to have her Skype into the show. Here’s what she posted and captioned:

Last night....

Since the show IS a competition, Kim was eliminated from "DWTS" due to her not dancing--it's in the rules. But she reportedly had NO idea she was getting the axe and didn't find out until she Skype'd in live on the show. She thought she was just giving an update on her condition and that she would return, but that wasn't the case. Since she did not perform, she was knocked out of the competition.

Her partner, Tony Dovolani, performed with another dancer before they axed Kim off of the show. Check it above.

After the show, her partner Tony fired off a tweet begging the show to "bring us back." Guess we will just have to see how this all unfolds.
