Sources told The Mirror that her team has reached out to several European hitmakers hoping someone will craft her another worldwide hit ala "We Found Love" and "Diamonds."  Happy hunting for hot tracks Rihanna.....

"#RichKids" star EJ Johnson was spotted walking into local hotspot The Nice Guy.

EJ has lost a total of 180lbs since he revealed his weight loss surgery over a year ago.  He credits Pilates, no carbs and access to a personal trainer with helping him stay trim.

In Atlanta...

Grammy-winning singer and "Braxton Family Values" star Toni Braxton was spotted leaving her hotel yesterday en route to Patchwork Studios.

Toni hit the studio to exercise her vocal cords as she's about to embark on a few trans-Atlantic dates. First, she and Babyface are scheduled to perform at the Borrowdale Racecourse in Zimbabwe on August 28th. Then, she has dates scheduled in South Africa and Australia.

North West and the Kardashian Klan have been living it up in St. Barts these past few days while filming for the upcoming season of their reality show. Peep Nori styling in her flash tattoos as she watches her family have some fun in the sun on the island of St. Barts inside….

North West has been having loads of fun with her family in St. Barts as they enjoy a family getaway in the Caribbean. And, of course, the E! cameras are capturing everything moment for the upcoming season of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

Yesterday, the family hit the crystal clear waters for some fun in the ocean playing water sports. And cutie Nori looked on from the boat as she flossed in her gold flash tattoos. Hmm...some say the flash tattoos are bit much for a 2-year-old. Thoughts?

25-year-old rapper Tyga came along for the family vacay. He was spotted paddle boarding with his boo thang Kylie Jenner. If you haven’t heard, the twosome no longer have to hide their love and affection since she turned 18 last week. Hmph.

Kylie's big sister Kendall Jenner got in on the paddle boarding action pulling Tyga along.

Then, the family explored the bottom of the sea while snorkeling.

North and her cousin Penelope Disick got a chance to swim with a mermaid! The tiny tots were decked out in their mermaid gear as they admired the mermaid’s fin.

Amber Rose is now speaking out after her likeness was used to lure young women into a prostitution ring. Find out how she found out about it and get her opinion on men being cheaters when you go inside….

Yesterday, Amber Rose and a few friends were spotted leaving a tattoo shop in West Hollywood amid reports that her likeness was being used in a prostitution scandal.

According to reports, a company used the budding actress’ likeness to lure young ladies into a prostitution ring. The people behind the company used an old Ustream clip created by Amber, making the eager fans/aspiring models believe they would be used "for a paid celebrity photoshoot and clothing line," according to reports.

The naïve young women were then told they would get the opportunity to interview the blonde bombshell through FaceTime. Once on the “call” with the Sister Code star, the culprits would play the Ustream for a few minutes before the call was cut short due to an alleged bad connection.

The optimistic models were then told they could better their chances to be chosen if they went out on a few dates with men chosen by the company. And if they really wanted to catapult their career they would have to have sex with the men they went out on dates with. One of the women contacted the Los Angeles Police Department and they are currently investigating.
 

For the first time since the story broke, Amber is speaking out about the ordeal and she’s totally shocked she was victimized in a prostitution ring. During an interview on “The Doctors” the “How To Be A Bad B*tch” author revealed she first learned about the scandal via Instagram last weekend. She explained,

"I was on Instagram and someone tagged me in a photo. It was a screenshot of that video and said, 'I just Facetimed with Amber and she was trying to get me to have sex with guys.”

Once she got wind of what was going on she hopped on Twitter to urge her fans NOT to respond to the alleged culprits. She tweeted:

When asked how she initially felt upon hearing about the scandal, she said,

"I was in shock, because I'm all for woman empowerment and to see something like that, it made me really sad. I was young and easily manipulated just like these girls. Thank God, I didn't fall into anything like that."

Amber was also asked about the AshleyMadison.com leak where tons of emails and sensitive customer information was exposed from the cheating site. In a nutshell, Amber said she believes ALL men cheat and if you’re lucky, you’ll never find out. She dished,

"I feel like every man cheats, that's just me. I do, I'm sorry. But I do feel like if he loves you enough, you will never ever find out."

Dr. Dre is publicly apologizing to all the women he's hurt in the past. Read his full apology inside….

Former N.W.A. member and producer Dr. Dre has issued an apology to the all of the women he hurt in his past. Most specifically, the ones he allegedly physically assaulted.

Since the highly successful biopic Straight Outta Compton was released, there has been a lot of chatter online about things missing from the film. Most notably, Dre’s violent past where he is accused of physically abusing women.

“Hollywood Divas” star and ex-girlfriend of Dr. Dre, Michel’le, has been vocal about Dre’s abuse for a while now. But it seems, she’s getting a lot of extra media attention about the abuse allegations since the release of the movie. Former TV personality Dee Barnes wrote a candid article detailing the incident where Dre abused her in a women’s bathroom in 1991. A year before, singer Tairrie B. claims Dre assaulted her, punching her in eye and the mouth, in front of a group people at a Grammys party.

During promo rounds for the blockbuster film, Dre vaguely opened up to Rolling Stone about his violent past, stating he made a lot of horrible mistakes in life (blaming it on being young and stupid) and that he would never make those mistakes again.

Now…he’s owning up to his mistakes (or conveniently trying to clear his reputation) and is publicly apologizing. While he doesn’t specifically name names or recalls certain incidents, he claims he is working on being a better man. In a statement released through the NY Times, the superproducer said,

“Twenty-five years ago I was a young man drinking too much and in over my head with no real structure in my life. However, none of this is an excuse for what I did. I’ve been married for 19 years and every day I’m working to be a better man for my family, seeking guidance along the way. I’m doing everything I can so I never resemble that man again.”

He added,

“I apologize to the women I’ve hurt. I deeply regret what I did and know that it has forever impacted all of our lives.”

Speaking of his violent past…

At one point, the well-known incident between Dre and female hip-hop journalist Dee Barnes was going to be included in the film. The scene was ultimately cut as director F. Gary Gray and producers tried to fit in the most important highlights of the group’s rise to fame.

The L.A. Times got their hands on the alleged scene between Dr and Dee that was reportedly included in screenwriter Jonathan Herman’s initial draft. The scene reads:

In the scene, the fictional Dre, “eyes glazed, drunk, with an edge of nastiness, contempt” (per noted from the script) spots Barnes at the party and approaches her.

“Saw that [expletive] you did with Cube. Really had you under his spell, huh? Ate up everything he said. Let him diss us. Sell us out.”
“I just let him tell his story,” Barnes’ character retorts, “That’s what I do. It’s my job.”

“I thought we were cool, you and me,” Dre fires back. “But you don’t give a [expletive]. You just wanna laugh at N.W.A, make us all look like fools.”

The conversation escalates, Barnes throws her drink in Dre’s face before he attacks her “flinging her around like a rag-doll, while she screams, cries, begs for him to stop.”

The movie tells the hilarious story of a newly-engaged couple introducing their families to each other for the first time. KT will play the lead female role opposite her on-screen fiancé Marques Houston. Chantal will play her half sister alongside other notable castmates Dorien Wilson ("Moesha"), Suzanne Whang, Clifton Powell, Wendy Raquel Robinson ("The Game") and Black. 

  Karrueche, who currently stars in the Emmy Award-winning web series The Bay and Stylehaul's hit web series, Vanity, also landed a role in the upcoming film The Good Guys with Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, as well as Syfy's TV movie 3 Headed Shark Attack, which premiered summer 2015.

"Empire" stars Jussie Smollett and Gabourey Sidibe posted a series of clips on Twitter that will have you gagging.  You'll recall that Gabby made a surprise appearance at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards with Jussie and Yazz's for their performance of "You're So Beautiful" where she showed off her twerk skills.

Well now she's back at it!

In the clip below, Jussie tweeted"Sent @GabbySidibe to get me groceries... All she brought back was cake... (you're welcome)..."

Then you'll see Jussie yelling,"You know what I want. You know what I want...So just stop messing around and give me that ass!"

Outrageous!

Inside, EBONY talks to three generations of runway icons, including Pat Cleveland, Beverly Johnson, Roshumba and Tyra Banks, who share testimonies that affirm that Black models are ambassadors representing far more than the physical grace of Black people; they also represent our pride.

Then, Gail O’Neill reflects on how big business has affected Black models, “When I started in 1985, the industry was far more integrated. I feel sorry for the Black girls working today. So many times there is just one brown face, maybe two, in the couture shows…I can’t even count how many brown girls I would see every time the collections came around.”

And of course......there's the fab cover story and photo shoot. “Made You Look," profiles six models rocking fall’s boldest trends, daring to represent the “ah-mazing” skin they are in. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen marriage has inspired an upcoming sitcom.  Get the deets inside...

Earlier this week, we revealed to you that Black-ish creator Kenya Barris had signed a three-year production deal with ABC and now we know about one of his first projects.  Kenya and his team have plans to turn the marriage of Oscar-winner John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen into a sitcom.

It will be a comedic take loosely based on the marriage between the pair. Kenya told Buzzfeed,

"It’s inspired by them — they’re both super creative and super effusive and I’m just fans of them and everything they stand for. They will both will producers on the project, which is tentatively titled, Ordinary People, after John's 2004 Grammy-winning track of the same name. 'I feel that song serves as a thematic background for the show."

He added, 'It will be about an interracial couple. We don’t know what’s going to be what. But it will be a part of the show in terms of showing those two world’s colliding and coming together — their issues and their obstacles that [happen inside] their personal relationship.'

If the show is greenlit, it will begin filming in February.  Chrissy damn sure hit the come-up jackpot marrying John.  She's currently starring in a Samsung commercial with her pup, she'll be starring on the new ABC daytime talk show "The Fab Life" this fall with Tyra Banks and others. she's still got her co-hosting gig on " Lip Sync Battle," she's got a cookbook on the way, she's constantly offered gigs as Award show host, and the list keeps going.

TD Jakes hosted Megafest 2015 in Dallas, TX and we spotted several YBF celebs performing and participating in panels...

"Bessie" star Tika Sumpter participated in Girl Talk while at Megafest, and she looked fab in a simple Victoria Beckham dress.

"For Better of Worse" actress Tasha Smith, who shared her testimony at several panels, was spotting posing with Tika backstage.

One of Tasha's panels ("Girl Talk") included Tina Knowles-Lawson.  And the newlywed mama is looking amazing.

On a later panel, Tamar Braxton joined Tika Sumpter and a few other saved and sanctified chicks.

Tamar posted a pic from one of her MegaFest highlights, a performance with gospel great Fred Hammond. She wrote"I sang with one of my favs @realfredh tonight!... I #megafeast2015"

"Black-ish" star Tracee Ellis Ross has been teasing a secret project on Instagram and we THINK we've figured out what it is.  Peep our discovery inside....

On Instagram, Tracee "T-Murda" Ross posted the pic atop and said to her followers "Sneak peek behind the scenes of my #secretproject ...stand by I will be posting tomorrow!"

Now...we've done some detective work and we think the project is a tribute to her mom Diana Ross. Back in 1981, Diana, who'd already given birth to Tracee, Chudney and Rhonda, released a single/video named "Work That Body." This was at the height of the Jane Fonda workout craze.....

Peep the clip below and check out Tracee's interpretation. It's spot on. Tracee's got her mom's body, hair, flair and energy. We hope she recreates the entire clip!

How'd Ludacris and his wife Eudoxie spend date night Friday night?  They hit the golf course, or as Luda described it, they "#drovetherangetotherange"  at Top Golf in Atlanta.

He captioned, "Going for the hole in One. #nowthatsludicrous #datenight #drovetherangetotherange #mrandmrsbridges @topgolf."

Silly.

Once their game was over, the proud parents reflected on their romance (which has had its ups and downs - and a break baby) and their watch game. "Watch Game STUPID!!!!!! #mrandmrsbridges."  Peep that humble brag with that ROCK the size f a meteor on Eudoxie's hand though.

What's up next for Luda?  He's signed on to star in Sweetwater, the story of Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton, the first African American contracted to play in the NBA. He's set to play Louis Jordan, a bandleader.

We called it -- Tracee Ellis Ross' secret project has just been revealed.  She's paying homage to a legendary YBF chick who just so happens to be her mom.  Check out Tracee recreating Diana Ross'"Work That Body" video serving body and hair for days...

Recently, Tracee Ellis Ross gave us a sneak peek into a "secret project" she was working on.  Once we saw the body suit, the booty, the hair and the dancing, we immediately knew she was recreating her mother's 80's video"Work That Body."  And here it is.

Tracee made the big reveal tonight, and it's amazing.

The "Blackish" star explained on her website the reason behind why she's paying homage to her mom using a video she has always loved.  Her mom had already had her three oldest kids, including Tracee, before filming this video by the way.  The 42-year-old actress said, in part:

I was watching and thinking: why does watching this woman dancing around in barely any clothes with her tush to the camera make me feel joyful and empowered when the same kind of image in most music videos today doesn’t give me that feeling? I know this is my mom… so obviously I’m projecting a connection and I know it was a different time, it was the 80’s. But still, it didn’t feel like she was dancing as a presentation of herself or like she was offering up her bits, which I feel like most videos are these days. Often in today’s images (moving and still), we are being objectified or we objectifying ourselves. I think it is meant to be an empowered act, a reclaiming of our bodies. But that is not always what it feels like to me. I am not intending to judge, just exploring with curiosity.

And then it hit me: My mom felt whole and connected …and in her body in this video. I have spoken before about encouraging women to shift our gaze from how we are seen to how we are seeing and, more important, feeling. And I saw a woman feeling joyful in herself as a whole being; she didn’t seem to be presenting her ass or saying look at all the ways I can make myself look appealing to YOU. She seems to be saying, “this is ME feeling good and I am strong and sexy and joyful in ME”!

So, I decided to recreate the video and try to feel the joy of being in my body while offering up tribute to my glorious mother.

Breaking: Kelis is pregnant...and she just showed off her baby bump on stage at AfroPunk!  We've got the confirmation inside...

When Kelis hopped on stage today at the AfroPunk Festival at Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn, she made a shocking announcement.  She's pregnant!

The (now) strawberry blonde fly chick rocked a hot pink Kimono lined with embellishments that allowed everyone to notice that baby bump. 

We spoke to an event producer who confirmed the news.  We're told that after Kelis performed in the 80+ degree heat, she told people around her off stage, "I need a fan...I'm hot and pregnant!"

Kelis just celebrated her 36th birthday yesterday, and what a way to ring in the new year.

The "Milkshake" singer is already mom to her adorable 6-year-old Knight Jones whom she shares with her rapper ex-husband Nas. 

She has not yet confirmed who her unborn child's father is, but we do know she was last linked to this mystery man around this time last year.

Saturday afternoon, "We Ain't Worried" singer Christina Milian threw on a triangle bikini top and a pair of dazzy dukes and hit up the Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival in Jones Beach, New York.

Ms. "AM to PM" was at the festival, right next door to where she grew up, to support her boyfriend, Lil Wayne, one of the headliners.  

She performed her own set before Lil Wayne took the stage.  She tried to let y'all know what's up saying:

Wiz Khalifa was shoved to the ground and cuffed by three officers all because he "refused" to get off his personal hoverboard at LAX. See the receipts inside...

Saturday afternoon (timestamp 3:56 pm PT), IT WENT DOWN at LAX.....we'll explain.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa was thrown to the ground at LAX because three U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officers claimed he refused to get off his hoverboard.

Wiz documented the take-down on both Instagram and Twitter explaining, "They love saying stop resisting....All because I wouldn't ditch the technology everyone will be using in the next 6 months."

Wiz believes hoverboards are the "next" thing and pretty soon, we'll all be riding them (including the cops)! So why won't they just let him be great?

In the video below, you'll see Wiz verbally defending himself, telling the cops,

"This? I didn’t do nothing, anyway. What you want to do? Put me in jail because I didn’t listen to what you say? We can have all the conversations you want to, you can end up on TMZ, destined to become as famous as you wanna be.”

So.....that's when they took him down.

On his Instagram, Wiz added the caption, "3 cops yell stop resisting. Only thing to do is let em know. I'm not resisting, I'm doin what I want."

As you can see from the timestamps on his social media, Wiz was tweeting and posting videos less than two hours after he was cuffed, so we don't believe he was "arrested" in the traditional sense.  The cops likely detained him for 30 minutes or so....

So far, we know the Los Angeles Police Department is not involved.  Officer Alicia Hernandez told the NY Daily News that the Los Angeles Airport Police had no interaction with Wiz Khalifa on Saturday. The officers in the video appear to be CBP (Custom Border & Protection) officers, she said.

TheYBF.com put in calls to LAX's airport security and public relations departments and are awaiting a response.  We hope this wasn't a PR stunt....

Ms. Lauryn Hill entered Commodore Barry Park to thunderous applause as she kicked off her evening set right before Grace Jones took the stage.

In addition to her classics (which she remixed) Lauryn performed works from her latest project, a tribute album to Nina Simone.

In LA.....

After singer Frank Ocean dropped out of his headlining slot, Kanye West stepped up to the plate to perform during the FYF Fest at the L.A. Memorial Sports Arena and Exposition Park last night.

Fans who had hoped to see Frank Ocean WERE NOT disappointed by the replacement. Why?  During his set, Kanye brought out Rihanna for "All of the Lights" and "FourFiveSeconds."  Let's just say the fans we're ecstatic!

On Saturday, Nicki Minaj attended the wedding of her older brother Jelani...and it was an emotional moment for her. 

Via a series of captions, it's easy to see that Nicki and Jelani are very close and protective of one another.

"Jelani, I love u more than you'll ever comprehend. I would cross the ocean for u. I would go & bring u the moon. Promise u. For u I will.

I love my brother so much man. Can't believe I cried during his wedding and his first dance like a punk. May God bless him and his union.

While Nicki has been very forthcoming about her troubled childhood, you can tell that she and her father Robert Maraj have put their differences aside.  She shared an emotional moment with him as well.

Former "Chrissy & Mr. Jones" stars Chrissy Lampkin and rapper Jim Jones posted a very intimate moment on Instagram. Check out the pic above....

While Chrissy was busy showing off her banging bikini bod, Jim was rolling a blunt! On IG, she wrote, "Jim said fuck it !!!! Put it back up babe."

We guess Jim initially had second thoughts about showing off his blunt skills, but changed his mind.

Actress Nia Long posted some cute pics on IG of her fiance Ime Udoka and their son Kez (below) over the weekend.  And that ring is gorgeous.

The Udokas were on their way to watch Nia's oldest son Massai Zhivago Dorsey II play baseball. Nia said, "Lil homie. #bigbrotherbaseballgame"

This fall, fans of Nia will be able to watch her on ABC in the new sitcom "Uncle Buck" starring Mike Epps.

Melo was spotted tossing the ball around with his son.  He seems to be in great spirits after the foolish rumors that his wife, LaLa Anthony, was allegedly cheating with rapper Maino.  Since the rumor were unfounded and unbelievable, we didn't post it here.  The Anthonys recently took to Insta to poke fun at the foolishness:

Checking into the weekend's box office receipts, we're happy to report that Straight Outta Compton is still performing well, and remains the #1 movie in the country.  Find out how well it did inside...

Thanks to positive reviews, critical acclaim and Dr. Dre "surprise" apology," the momentum around the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton continues to slay at the box office, remaining No. 1 for the second week in a row.

According to studio estimates (via Deadline), the F. Gary Gray-directed film pulled in $26.8 million and crossed the $100 million mark for a total of $111.5 million.

Outside of the States, we've learned that SOC is also performing well internationally. So far, the film has opened in Norway and Slovenia, taking in $170K. Next weekend, the films will open in Austria, Germany and the UK.
