Singer Miguel released a pretty explicit song“Coffee (Fu**ing)” a few days ago and now we've got the album cover. It's pretty explicit too.

The racy cover for Miguel's third album WILDHEART shows him shirtless in the clouds while caressing a naked woman who is kneeling down in front of him.

Speaking to VH1, he explained the artwork saying,“This album is Los Angeles, it’s attitude, it’s aggression, it’s sex, it’s pyschedelia, it’s lust, it’s loneliness. It’s just more aggressive. It’s just raw. That’s why I love this album.”

Trey "Trigga" Songz released a new single titled “About You” off his upcoming album TRIGGA Reloaded, which drops June 23rd. "About You" samples Carly Simon’s’70s classic “You’re So Vain” and has lyrics like:

Calling all the cuties to the floor right now
It’s a lot of booty on the floor right now
Take it to the bus, we can go right now
We can roll right now right now

“I bet you think this song is about you, don’t you?”

By the way, if you can't wait for TRIGGA Reloaded to come out, Trey released a surprise EP earlier this week called Intermission I & II. It's on iTunes...

In new music videos...

K. Michelle has released a video for "Hard to Do,” the fourth single off her album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? The museum-quality clip (it's artsy) was directed by Child Basquiat, and features nudity AND a zebra. Not at the same time though.  Also, K. takes a bath while surrounded by flamingos. We're sure this all has a deeper meaning....let's us know what it is if you figure it out.

And to get a little internet buzz going, K. kisses a girl at the end of the video. Those records don't buy themselves.....

Big news for one of the freshest movies coming to theaters this summer.  Get the DOPE deets inside...

Before its highly anticipated June 19th release, Dope will get the red carpet treatment as the American Black Film Festival's opening night film!

The hit movie out of the Sundance Film Festival, DOPE tells the story of Malcolm (Shameik Moore) who is carefully surviving life in a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles. A chance invitation to an underground party leads him into an adventure that could allow him to go from being a geek, to being dope, to ultimately being himself.

The film already has the A-list celeb treatment at the helm: Directed by Rick Famuyiwa, it's also produced by Forest Whitaker, Executive Produced by Pharrell Williams and Co-Executive Produced by Sean "Diddy" Combs. 

A few fresh stars are starring in the film as well -- Zoe Saldana, Kimbery Elise, Chanel Iman, A$AP Rocky, and Quincy Brown (who is surprisngly good).

The New York premiere will go down June 11th at the SVA Theater, and will be a star studded event (find out how to get access below!).

Here's the synopsis:

Dope is a coming-­‐of-­‐age comedy/drama for the post hip-­‐hop generation; its main characters are obsessed with ‘90s hip-­‐hop. Malcolm (Shameik Moore) is warily surviving life in "The Bottoms" in Los Angeles, while juggling college applications, academic interviews and SATs. His dream is to attend Harvard. A chance invitation to an underground party leads him into a gritty adventure filled with offbeat characters and bad choices that could allow him to go from being a geek to being dope to ultimately being himself. Jaden Smith surely made a statement when he walked into prom dressed as Batman. Yes, you read that right. Peep pics of his superhero costume inside….

Cool kid Jaden Smith must really have a thing for Batman. So much so, he decided to dress as the superhero to attend a high school prom over the weekend. Similar to what he wore to Kanye & Kim's wedding.

Decked out in all white, Jaden pulled out his superhero muscles and long white cape to channel the Caped Crusader for a fun-filled night.

To accompany him for the evening, he linked up with singer Mecca Kalani to attend the event on his arm. She wore a beautiful white laced gown to match Jaden’s white Batman costume.

Before heading to the gala, Jaden and his date snapped it up with friends. Then, the twosome hopped into a sick old-school ride as he headed out for prom. We wonder if 16-year-old Jaden actually drove to prom himself. We know he has his learner’s permit (confirmed by his dad Will Smith in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel), so it’s possible.

Once they arrived....

The high schoolers had some fun with props in the photobooth. Jaden didn’t need a lot of props as his prom attire was more than enough.

Cute. We can't wait to see who Jaden decides to go as for prom next year. It's going to be tough to beat this one.

Monica has some new heat just in time for summer. For her newest musical offering “Just Right For Me,” she enlisted Young Money honcho Lil Wayne to spit a hot 16 on the Polow Da Don-produced banger.

“Just Right For Me” is the first single from the Atlanta native’s upcoming eighth studio album Code Red, the follow-up to her 2012 album New Life. And it’s taking us back to that soulful Monica sound we love.

On the track, Wayne raps,

“Got Monica on my playlist and she on my bae-list, but since I got a situation I use imagination. Alright!”

Hmmm…is Christina Milian the "situation"?

TheYBF.com exclusively told you“Love & Hip Hop: New York” star Rich Dollaz’s 15-year-old daughter Christiana Nicolle (whom he shares with Chaundrea Nicolle) was getting her feet wet in the music biz. And now, she has released her debut single and video, “No Drama Tonight.”

In the video treatment (created by the aspiring singer), we see Christiana Nicolle prepping for her first date with her “boyfriend.” She’s trying on different looks, laughing it up with her friend and tries to convince her “dad” to give her a pass for a night out on the town with her beau.

It’s interesting she chose to have a father figure in her video after her mother claims Rich has only seen his daughter ONCE in her entire life. Her mother also claims Christiana Nicolle’s dad has NO involvement in her budding singing career, but it appears she’s going after her dreams anyway. Kudos to her.

Over the weekend, Bobby Brown and his wife/manager Alicia Etheredge Brown had plenty to celebrate.

Although these past few months have been tragic for Bobby as his daughter Bobbi Kristina continues to fight for her life in a hospital, Bobby was able to find some joy in celebrating the upcoming birth of his sixth child and the 6th birthday of the couple's son Cassius.

Family and friends gathered to shower the parents with gifts and surround them with lots of love as they celebrated the impending birth of the little one. And we found out the happy couple will soon be the parents of a newborn baby girl!

Alicia's sister let the cat out of the bag in an Instagram post saying:

Celebrating the upcoming birth of my niece! Lovely day with family and friends that are family!

The soon-to-be mother-of-two showed off her growing 7-month belly with a tree of life henna tattoo, finished with little baby footprints. Aww....

The Browns threw a Michael Jackson themed birthday bash for their son Cassius’ 6th birthday complete with a decked out MJ cake. Selita is participating in the Cash & Rocket 2015 tour, a charity road-trip to Cannes where fly chicks push Aston Martins and Maseratis in the honor of fundraising. Last year, the organization raised $1,400,000 for three women and children's charities in Africa.

Selita is tooling around the city with Miriam Aldainy, Founder & Creative Director of Nour Jensen.

Mary J. Blige was spotted outside the Martinez Hotel. MJB been very busy over the past few days.  Over the weekend, Mary performed at the Life Ball in Vienna, Austria, raising money for HIV/AIDS.

Nigerian-born tech wizard Chinedu Echeruo sold his company to Apple back in 2013.  But it's now being reported just how much he banked.  And the amount is SERIOUS. Get the deets inside and find out why Kimora Lee Simmons is leaving JustFab.com.

Chinedu Echeruo is reportedly a VERY wealthy man. Well...he was already wealthy but we're talking Tyler Perry/Oprah Winfrey figures (or more) now.

Tech giant Apple acquired Chinedu Echeruo’s HopStop.com for $1 Billion, according to African Leadership Magazine.  Yep, $1 BILLION.

Apple is notoriously private about how much money they spend n acquisitions, so it's unclear the source for this report.  Interestingly, Google acquired HopStop's competitor, Waze, for a reported $1.1 billion.

If you live outside of one of the 300 cities where HopStop is a must-have, it's a must-have mobile app that helps people get public transportation directions using nearby subway and bus stops.  If you're ever in NYC - you won't want to go about your day without it.

Chinedu founded HopStop in 2005 and industry execs suspect that Apple bought the company to bolster its map offerings and location services.  Mr. Echeruo, who grew up in Eastern Nigeria, is an alum of Kings College, Lagos., Syracuse University and the Harvard Business School. 

Thanks to his venture capitalist skills, he raised $8 million to create the smart app (as well as a second app called Tripology).  Now, he's gone from being an analyst at investment banks and hedge funds to now the Chairman of the Board for HopStop.

He also spent several years in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Leveraged Finance groups of J.P Morgan Chase. And as far as we can tell.....he may not married either....

In other game changing news...

Kimora Lee Simmons has yet another change in her life.  After getting married to her man Tim Leissner and giving birth to their new son, Wolfe Lee Leissner, she has a new gig too....or at least a new focus.

Via Instagram, the Baby Phat founder and world-renown fashionista has announced that she's leaving her job at JustFab.com to focus on her KLS high-end line and her charitable works.

She posted,

"I’m happy to share with you that I have decided to step away from JustFab and focus on my own business and philanthropic ventures. I look forward to the many exciting aspects of this new chapter in my life, growing my family and investing in new innovative businesses in the fields of fashion, entertainment, consumer goods and technology."

Kimora has new "hires" as well. On the KLS side of things, she's hired Jacqui Wenzel as president of KLS Kimora Lee Simmons. He told WWD,

“Kimora herself played a big role in convincing me [to take the job]. She was very inspiring. I’d never met her before I came into the meeting, and I was completely taken up by all her plans.”

P.S. The first KLS store is set to open on Beverly Drive in Los Angeles in about four weeks.

After collaborating on one of our fave tracks on the Beyonce album, "Mine," Drizzy and Bey appear to have teamed up again for his album.  In a leak that has spilled onto the net, we hear Beyoncé chiming in on a track called "Can I".

Internet gossips say the track is allegedly from Drizzy's upcoming fourth studio album, Views From The 6, that is set to be released some time this year.  Both Drake and Bey have been mum about it all, as expected.  But get your listen on below:

The dramedy, which looks like The Craft meets Heathers meets Mean Girls, also stars "American Horror Story" actress Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Lea Michele.

The premise: Viewers will see a series of sorority murders that get in the way of Rush Week.  Shout out to the sorority and their "diversity"....we just hope they don't bump KeKe off first!

Scream Queens premieres this fall on Fox.  We'll be watching!

In new gigs...

Former "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star Alfonso Ribeiro, who danced his way into the hearts of tv viewers during his Mirroball winning spin on "DWTS" last season, has landed the top gig at "America's Funniest Home Videos"!  It pays to make a comeback....

Alfonso was named as Tom Bergeron's (also the current "DWTS" host) replacement this week during last night's season finale of "Dancing With the Stars."

Alfonso recently sat down with THR to discuss how his version of 'AFV' will differ from Tom's and Bob Saget's versions. Check it...

What will your version of AFV look like?

Not all that different. I think they have found the right vibe for the show. The difference between Bob Saget and Tom: Bob was about his jokes and Tom has really been about setting up videos and having those be the star of the show. I think that will continue. I think they are going to make some changes to the set a little bit and go with some different colors and just make it a little newer and fresher. But for me, I’m just going to bring my energy. I have a high energy and a lot of creative ideas in terms of dancing and singing and maybe I'll use some of those abilities to introduce some of our videos. We’ll just bring my vibe to it.

In an era where everyone is passing around clips on YouTube all day long, how do you make the show premium?

Ultimately, you can go online and sit at your computer, but the computer is a single apparatus. When you sit in front of the computer, it feels like it’s for you to sit there by yourself. One of the things that AFV does is that it's probably the No. 1 show on TV that has co-views, where parents and their kids will watch it together. It’s such a family show, and one of the few family shows left on television. I think that it’s a destination because it’s everything that the internet has, but it’s really bringing it to the TV. You can sit down as a family and watch. It’s the perfect time: It’s Sunday night, you’re getting ready to start your week again, you sit down, you have family dinner, you throw on AFV, and you watch it together as a family.

What are your favorite types of viral videos?

My style of video is when people hurt themselves. I just love the idea when people decide to do something really stupid and then they fall and bust their head open and, of course, they don’t kill themselves — but they do it with the idea that they think it’s going to be really funny, and then they bang themselves up. And then we get to really enjoy it. There will definitely be some of those with me.

Will we see the "Carlton dance" on the show?

Who knows? I’m sure they will try to convince me and make that work.

Can't believe this show is still on....but we're indeed happy to see Alfonso land the gig of fronting the legendary show.  Congrats!

The mother of slain rapper Lionel (Chinx) Pickens was seen mourning the death of her son yesterday.  NYPD has also revealed more details from the crime and its possible connection to a 2007 murder. More inside...

It's been a few days since the shocking murder of rapper Lionel (Chinx) Pickens and police investigating the crime have drawn some comparisons to a shocking unsolved murder from 2007...

On Monday, the mother of rapper "Chinx" was photographed mourning his death in front of the Dunkin Donuts in Queens, NY where he was shot dead over the weekend.

While the bereaved mother was joined by family and friends, police investigating the crime have uncovered some shocking similarities between Chinx's death and the unsolved murder of his friend and mentor in 2007. We'll explain....

In 2007, Stack Bundles (who had a close association with Jim Jones) was gunned down near the lobby of his Far Rockaway apartment building shortly before 6 a.m. on June 11, 2007.

The similarities, pointed out by both the NY Daily News and the NYPD, are as follows: Both Stack Bundles and Chinx were up-and-coming rappers, both drove Porsches, both were on the rise with music about to drop, both had ties to bigger rappers (Stack Bundles via Jim Jones, Chinx via French Montana) and both were killed in early morning hours shortly after they performed locally.

NYPD Detective Robert Boyce revealed to the Daily News, “Stack Bundles and Chinx. They were friends, so we're looking at all hip-hop angles."

As we told you over the weekend, Chinx also had ties to Khloe Kardashian (via French) and often posted about rumored girlfriend Malika Haqq. And yes....Chinx was married at the time of his death.  His day-to-day relationship with Janelli is unclear, though, with conflcting rumors and stories circulating.

Still, his widow, Janelli Caceres, wrote on Facebook this week, "I wish a slow torturous death on who ever did this to my baby."

Speaking Monday outside the family’s two-story brick duplex in Ozone Park, Janelli told the Daily News,

"My little Vince (her and Chinx's 4-year-old son).  It's very hard, heartbreaking. It's tragic. He didn't die after an illness. He was murdered. It's nothing that you can ever prepare for. We are just shocked."

The NYPD is said to be on high alert for several reasons.  Boyce admitted that one of the reasons is that the Kardashian connection plays a part in the attention the case is getting.  He also revealed, "There's always the issue of retaliation in these things."

In one positive update, Antar Alziadi, who goes by the name Yemen Chee$e and who was riding in Chinx's Porshe when the gunfire broke out, will be released from the hospital this week.

On Instagram, he responded to the hateful comments he has been receiving saying, "All you motherf------ fake-a-- motherf-----s that's hating and talking s--- on my f------ page, get the f--- out of here with that s---.I'm alive. And I'm coming home."  

So far, the cops say everyone, including Antar, have been cooperative with their investigation.

As we stated earlier, this was supposed to be a big week and a big summer for Chinx as his single was set to drop. His publicist Chanel Rae McFadzean told the Daily News that the single (and his unreleased album) will now be delayed until after his funeral.

Sad situation all around.

Since the finalization of their divorce, Paula Patton and Robin Thicke have led separate lives. Last night, Paula hit up the French Kiss short-film premiere where she gave out and received a few smooches. Single lady Paula Patton was all smiles on the carpet at the Marriott Content Studio’s French Kiss short-film premiere held at the Marina del Rey Marriott in Marina del Rey, California last night.

While making her rounds, the YBF chick posed it up and blew a few kisses with actress Paola Núñez (left) and "Orange Is The New Black" star Taryn Manning (right).

And since the movie is all about finding love in Paris, Paula played into the theme getting kissy with Taryn. 

Then, she was sandwiched with kisses from French Kiss producer Ian Sander and lead star Tyler Ritter.

Meanwhile, overseas....

R&B crooner Robin Thicke and his 20-year-old model girlfriend April Love Geary was busy partying it up at the De Grisogono party during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival in Cap d'Antibes, France.

While Robin and Paula’s divorce was officially finalized in April, Robin moved on to his new chick allegedly in November 2014, one month after Paula officially filed for divorce.

An OK! magazine source claims Paula doesn't approve of his new girlfriend, saying she "thinks he's lost his mind." Hmm...we're not totally sold she feels that way, but his new chick IS very young, so it's possible.

But, things seem to be kind of serious, at least for now, between these two. He brings her around his son Julian, so that has to mean something. Time will tell....

Things got heated when the sexy cast of Chocolate City stripped off their shirts during the film's NYC premiere last night. Peep the carpet and shirtless flicks inside….

The cast of the upcoming stripper flick Chocolate City gathered at the AMC Empire 25 theater in NYC for a screening of the film last night. Vivica A. Fox, who plays a single mother of two sons, hit the carpet in a royal blue textured bodycon with fringe detail paired with orange peep-toe pumps for a pop of color.

In a recent interview with BlackFilm.com, she revealed what we can expect from her character saying,

"The story of Chocolate City is that I play the mom to two men, played by DeRay Davis and Robert Ri’chard, who play Michael. I’m a single mother and we’re going through some hard times. Michael is my precious child. He’s working and has a scholarship to go to college. While the brothers are at a strip club, Michael is discovered by the club manager played by Michael Kai White, who tells him he can make some quick easy money by dancing. So Michael gets to amateur night and makes a whole bunch of money. My character thinks that he’s getting on the wrong side of the tracks when he comes home with all this cash."

She adds,
"Then the story gets into what’s it like for Michael being the new kid at the club and Tyson plays a veteran dancer at the club. It’s a little jaded and it takes you on this really wonderful fun journey of watching this story play out."
 

Sexy co-star Darrin Henson was also in the building. Looking good.

Robert Ri'chard leads the cast playing Michael, a struggling college student who is discovered and prepped to enter the world of adult exotic dancing. Remember there were rumors going around that he and Aunt Viv were dating? We weren't totally sold that the two were really in a relationship, but Aunt Viv does speak very highly of him. She told BlackFilm,

"Playing his mom, I got there the last four days of filming and we had very intense scenes because my character is worried about what Michael hasn’t been telling her. I loved working with him. I think Robert Ri’chard is going to be the next heartrobe. This film is going to do wonderful things for not only Robert but Tyson, Darren and others. Finally, I feel that they are not threatened by the presence and the power of African Americans being the lead actors in movies and television shows. It’s about time."

Power 105 radio host Angela Yee was tapped to host.

"Blood, Sweat and Heels" star Geneva Thomas was also in the mix to get her chocolate fix.

Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx combined comedic timing with his impeccable singing voice during a hilarious segment called "Musical Impressions" on 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.'  Jamie was tasked with singing several songs just like certain celebs, including Mick Jagger, John Legend and Jennifer Hudson. His impressions are "spot on" and will blow you away.

The life of Amy Winehouse gets the documentary treatment in a new film from director Asif Kapadia named Amy. Packaging archival footage and previously unheard tracks, the film covers her artistic triumphs tragic decline due to drug and alcohol addiction in 2011 at the age of 27.

The film has drawn criticism from the two men closest to Amy, her father, Mitch Winehouse, who described the film as a "disgrace" and Reg Traviss, Amy's partner at the time of her death, who called it "a fictionalized biopic centered around a distorted depiction of Amy’s life." He also calls the film's portrayal of Mitch Winehouse "despicable."

If you'd like to see what the fuss is about, Amy hits theaters in New York, Los Angeles and the U.K. on July 3rd before going nationwide on July 10th.

During a behind-the-scenes sitdown with the publication, the “American Idol” judge dished about learning to love herself, staying in shape, how she’s teaching her 7-year-old twins Max and Emme healthy habits and living the single life after calling it quits with ex-boyfriend Casper Smart (although, there are rumors circulating the two are back to seeing each other).

On embracing and loving herself:

"I embrace who I am," the American Idol judge told Us between setups. "I feel sexy, I feel youthful, I feel pretty sometimes. I think a healthy body image comes from being the best you, not competing with anybody else," she explained. "You know, I'm not a 6-foot tall model...I'm not a size 2. I think it's about focusing on yourself and just trying to be the best you."

On staying in shape:
"I live a healthy lifestyle, I try to live a healthy lifestyle," she told Us. "I'm always looking for something that's gonna help me enhance that lifestyle. BodyLab is a set of supplements that is about your body working as hard as you do."

On being single:

Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade was spotted in Times Square today after an appearance on “Good Morning America.” D. Wade and NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson came on the show to help raise awareness for heat safety through their partnership with the program Mission Heat Safety.

With summer around the corner, it’s extremely important to spread the word about heat safety to help minimize the growing number of of heat related deaths. Nice to see D. Wade on his philanthropic stease.

Supermodel and upcoming DOPE star Chanel Iman looked amazing at the YOUTH premiere during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival last night.

The Victoria’s Secret model dazzled on the carpet in a red strapless Donna Karan Atelier gown, which she accessorized with de GRISOGONO jewellery to finish off her look. While posing it up alongside a guest, she wore her hair swept up into a bun and went for a barely there beat. She nailed it.

There are rumors swirling that Chanel has a new man in her life after breaking up with rapper A$AP Rockylast October. And it's allegedly an NBA baller!

Word on the curb is that Chanel is getting cozy with L.A. Lakers player Jordan Clarkson. The twosome was supposedly spotted at the Powerhouse concert in L.A. together over the weekend. We need to see the pics to be convinced.

Destiny Jones is busy making moves and carving out her own lane in the cosmetics industry, outside of being the daughter of famed rapper Nas. After releasing her brand new spring collection from her Lipmatic lip gloss line, the young entrepreneur chopped it up with TheYBF.com about being a young boss, her dad's involvement in her business, and she offered some great advice to other celebuspawns.

Life as a rich celebrity kid seems like it would be all about endless shopping sprees in Beverly Hills, extravagant luxury vacations, hanging out with friends all day and damn near having the world at your fingertips. While some of this is true for the daughter of Queensbridge rap legend Nas, that’s not ALL this 20-year-old is doing.

Yes, Destiny Jones loves a shopping trip down Melrose that ends with sushi with her bestie, but she’s also all about her business as she heads her very own organic lip gloss collection.  She affectionately titled it Lipmatic, a play off of her dad’s classic Illmatic album.

The youngin' chopped it up with TheYBF.com about what inspired her to launch her own lip gloss line, which she credits to beibg a self-proclaimed “lip-gloss-a-holic.” So how did Destiny turn what started out as an obsession into an actual business?

“For about a year I would have different ideas, but it wasn’t until I thought of the name for it that I was ready to move forward,” she told TheYBF.com. “I thought of Lipmatic, so I told my dad and when he heard the name I think that’s when he got excited about it and we just kind of took it from there.”

Now, Destiny’s Lipmatic lip gloss is available for purchase at Lipmatic.com for $14 per lippie. And she also has a special where if you purchase 4 lippies, you can get them for a $50 package deal. Right now, Lipmatic is solely sold online but she hopes to bring it to retail soon.

You can’t be the daughter of a Hip Hop entrepreneur and not learn a thing or two about how to grind and hustle.  So how involved is Papa Jones exactly? Destiny says,

“If I have any business questions, he will help me, but other than that he lets me do it all myself.”

As she gears up to introduce more fab shades from her collection, the YBF chick called up her cousin - “black•ish” star Yara Shahidi -- to model for an upcoming campaign. (Peep a few behind-the-scenes shots HERE). When asked what it was like shooting with her little cousin, she tells us,

“It was great. Yara is such a doll. As soon as I saw her, I knew exactly what color. It was important that we made her look 15. She just looked so adorable. It was actually fun working with her. And when we would shoot together, we just kept looking at each other and laughing, so it was just natural working with her.”

Cute!

In a previous interview, Yara revealed she had no idea her cousin Nas was a big rap star, but Destiny on the other hand knew her dad had star power since she was born. She spilled,

“I was painfully aware that my dad was a star. I remember being 4-years-old and seeing him on the cover of every single magazine and I would be like ‘Look, that’s dad!’ And my mom would be like ‘Shh! Quiet.’ My whole life...I just always knew.”

So who would Destiny like to see her new lippies on? The usual suspects you could probably guess: Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez and Kerry Washington. 
 

Outside of launching and expanding her lip gloss collection, Destiny also revealed she’s gearing up to enter the acting realm, much like her cousin Yara. She told us she has been studying hard as she perfects her skills before she heads out on auditions. 

Destiny revealed this surprising info about her intense acting preparation:

“I have acting class usually in the evenings. I take two acting classes a week and they are 5 hours, so I have 10 hours of acting class a week. You have to do homework for it everyday for a hour. It’s super intense, but I think I’m getting a lot better in my skills. I definitely didn’t want to jump into acting when I’m not at my best. I wanted to be as trained as possible. And I definitely need to do more as far as like vocal lessons and dance classes just be all the way around trained. I definitely want to go into acting and start going on auditions.”

As for her dream debut role, the NYC native said she would love to play an African princess or star in a role as a strong, empowered woman. We love to hear that!

As much as Destiny has going on, it’s clear she's changed from her wild child teen days (the days her father rapped about on his "Daughters" track). We pressed her about it but she says there simply isn’t much time for boys. And even if she does find time to entertain a few, she has never let them meet her father. She stated emphatically:

“I have not introduced my dad to any boys. EVER. Right now, I’m just doing me and I’m not dating anybody.”

Smart.  Destiny, who celebrates her 21st birthday next month, offered up a few words of wisdom to other children of celebrities who are trying to create their own lane. And it was quite profound. She said,

“Stop comparing yourself to your parents. We’re NOT our parents. We’re our own people and even though they’ve set a great example for us, we have to be our own person and make our own lane. If you spend your life trying to imitate them and be just like them, you’ll always be second.”

Great advice.

It appears Ms. Jones knows exactly what she wants out of life.  We wish her nothing but the best and can’t wait to see if she rules the [beauty & acting] worlds.  Imagine that.
