The wait is (almost) over for the Rihanna Navy. The pop star and actress just dropped two new songs for you to whet you whistle while awaiting her full projects. Check 'em inside....

While rocking a slip dress, a brand new Boy Chanel handbag, a Rolling Stones fur coat, and sneakers, Rihanna and her red cup exited Chelsea Piers in NYC yesterday where she was busy at a recording studio. 

She topped off her night with the release of two of her new songs of the Home soundtrack, the animated film where she voices the part of lead character Tip.

Rih previously teased the track "Dancing In The Dark," and now, here's the full thing:

And the somber ballad, "As Real As You And Me."

Rihanna recently explained why her new sound -- for both her upcoming R8 project and Home -- is such a departure from her usual instant pop hits, and it's all because she wants to focus on creating timeless music.  She told MTV News about her new album:

“I’ve made a lot of songs that are really, really big songs.  From the jump, they just blow up. And I wanted to kind of get back to — not that they weren’t real music, but I just wanted to focus on things that felt real, that felt soulful, that felt forever.”

“I wanted songs that I could perform in 15 years; I wanted an album that I could perform in 15 years. Not any songs that were burnt out. I find that when I get on stage now, I don’t want to perform a lot of my songs. They don’t feel like me. So I want to make songs that are timeless.”

So, is she headed in the right direction?

Winter is officially gone. And in comes spring!

To celebrate the upcoming warm weather, Kelly Rowland (who suffers from allergies) has teamed up with Claritin for a live performance today in NYC.
 

The fab new mom (who's on the newest cover of ESSENCE with her family) will be hitting the stage at noon today for New York City’s own Department of Sanitation staff. She will be entertaining all of the workers who have busted their butts this winter to ensure the city’s streets were cleared and safe for New Yorkers. How sweet.

Over in Beverly Hills.....

Dark & Lovely spokeswoman Bria Murphy was on her usual beauty routine making her way inside a nail salon in Beverly Hills yesterday.

Looks like Bria will be following in her dad’s footsteps as she has wrapped up filming for her debut film Drive, She Said. For her first movie role, the 25-year-old daughter of Eddie & Nicole Murphy will be starring as a prostitute (oh?!) in the indie comedy, alongside Ashley Tisdale and Janet Montgomery, who also play prostitutes in the film.

The film is described as a fish-out-of-water sex comedy, which also stars actor Jason Biggs and his wife Jenny Mollen who will play an on-screen married couple.

A synopsis of the film (via The Hollywood Reporter) is as follows:

The story centers on an insecure expectant father (Biggs) who, unable to find work in his field, unwittingly accepts a job chauffeuring prostitutes (Montgomery, Tisdale, Murphy) around Los Angeles. The story unfolds over the course of one night as the milquetoast dad finds he just may have the right stuff for fatherhood.

Beyonce is teaming up with Italian shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti to bring her fashion flare in a brand new custom designed shoe. Get the deets inside….

Beyonce is steadily building her fashion empire, by way of collabos with top folks in the fashion biz. Following her streetwear-inspired activewear label with fashion giant TopShop, the Grammy winning artist will be joining forces with Italian shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti to design her very own shoe.

Giuseppe Zanotti, who has previously collaborated with Hip Hop entertainers such as Kanye West and Kid Cudi, revealed in an interview with Forbes that he is teaming up with the “Flawless” one for a new shoe design. And it will be debuting very soon -- within one to two weeks tops!

He spilled,“I’m doing a shoe with Beyoncé right now. I’m working on finalizing the shoe with her stylist right now. And Beyoncé will then say what she likes and what she doesn’t like. It will be one shoe only.”

While the finalized product is still under wraps, Forbes fashion contributor Declan Eytan got a peep at a sketch and he says Bey’s stiletto will likely have an ultra thick platform. We're all for comfort.
  

The Italian designer, who admits he’s a huge music fan, goes on to praise the wife of Jay Z and mother of Blue Ivy for having a clear vision of what she likes, as well as her undeniable talent.

He said,

“Beyoncé has very clear ideas – she knows exactly what she wants. The thing which she then also has over other celebrities, is that she has an amazing voice. She’s incredibly talented and she’s an amazing dancer – she’s complete. Few are like Beyoncé.”

R&B Crooner Tank recently called out Kanye West for promoting nude images of his wife Kim Kardashian - but we recall him putting out a racy pic or two of his baby momma Zena Foster too.  What's the difference?  See if you agree with Tank inside...

Tank is talking out the side of his neck again.  It's obvious he's figured out how to move the meter on social media and get folks saying his name.  Remember when he shook Twitter and sparked the whole light skinned vs. dark skinned debate?  What about the time he got pissed off and"quit" music?  Well....he's at it again.

We spied an interview he did with at Blog Talk Radio (Have A Seat Radio) where he went at Kanye West during a segment called “The Golden Chair”. Tank was afforded the chance to give Kanye the "Sit The F-ck Down” award and you'll never guess why. Or maybe you will....

Tank took issue with Kanye tweeting Kim's nudes a few days ago (see pics here), wondering why Ye constantly exploits her.  The nudes were first shown on an episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians"...so they had been seen by many before Kanye tweeted them. And gushed over them.  But still, Tank may have a point with his explanation.

The R&B singer said,

“As much as I am a fan of this guy, I think he definitely deserves this golden chair. Im’a go Kanye.”

“I just want to know how many pictures of Kim are we going to put out there with barely no clothes on? I just want to know how many pictures of your wife—with a baby—like you know what I’m saying?”

“At a certain point we have to grow up and we have to be examples for our children. Alright? Let’s stop putting this married woman’s assets all over the place.”

Oh really.....

“As a man, when I get married, I’m not putting my woman’s assets out on the blogs for people. That is mine,” he said. “When I oil it up, I’m oiling it up for me.”

Oh, ok then Tank. See the photo atop?  He put that on the 'Gram!  So....apparently it's ok to post your babies' mother'snude pics....because you have not put a ring on it yet? Should he pull up a chair right next to Yeezy?

And Kanye's always been into women with sexually-charged images.  No shade....he and Kim are on the same page when it comes to showing off the ta-tas.  They seem to feed and get off on the attention and exposure, regardless of the "OMG we're so tired of the comments about us!" game they play. There's been too many sex tapes (NEVER FORGET.), voluntarily nude photoshoots, full frontals and full backside pics for us to think either of them see this as exploitation.  BUT that doesn't mean it's NOT exploitative.

Major movie news for you film buffs!  "Best Man Holiday" director Malcolm D. Lee and "Think Like A Man" Executive Producer are making moves.  Deets inside...

Three finalists will be selected to attend the 19th annual American Black Film Festival in New York City, June 11 -14 and have an exclusive opportunity to be mentored by critically-acclaimed film director Malcolm D. Lee. 

Aspiring filmmakers nationwide are encouraged to enter their best, original submissions by 11:59 p.m. Eastern March 24, 2015, for their chance to win the grand prize and earn accolades from film industry leaders. Three finalists will be selected to attend the 19th annual American Black Film Festival in New York City, June 11 -14 and have an exclusive opportunity to be mentored by critically-acclaimed film director Malcolm D. Lee, who will provide the finalists with invaluable film industry tips and advice.

The top three short films will premiere at the highly-anticipated festival and will be judged by a panel of industry experts. Each submission will be critiqued on creativity, implementation of concept and quality. In the end, only one finalist will take home the grand prize — a film equipment package valued at $2,500 and an opportunity to have their film featured on prominent websites, including McDonald’s, 365Black.com and other media entities.

Malcolm said about the opportunity:

In other YBF film news, it looks like former EBONY Editor Mitzi Miller has already landed on her feet.   Rainforest Entertainment CEO and Think Like A Man Too Executive Producer Rob Hardy just hired the Miller as his Head of Development, a role he specifically created for her.

Miller, who co-wrote The Vow which was turned into the Lifetime movie With This Ring, left EBONY to pursue film passions.  It looks like more films we all love will be created under the Rainforest umbrella with her calling many of the shots.

Hardy, who directed an episode of "Empire" in its first season, focuses on scripted and unscripted digital, tv and film works through Rainforest.  And we're sure plenty more fab films like TLAM, This Christmas, Ride Along and more are in the works with partner Will Packer.

“There is an increasing demand from viewers for diverse, authentic content and I’m excited to develop new stories that resonate with these audiences,” said Miller in a press statement.

LeToya Luckett will be hitting the small screen in new drama pilot titled “Love Is A Four Letter Word.” Also, Pharrell Williams speaks for the first time about the “Blurred Lines” verdict, while Chris Tucker& Ice Cube celebrate Friday’s 20th anniversary. Get the deets inside….

LeToya Luckett is making waves on the small screen circuit. On top of starring in Centric’s “Single Ladies” and HBO’s “Treme”, the former Destiny’s Child member has landed a new acting gig on NBC’s drama pilot “Love Is A Four Letter Word.”

The actress/singer nabbed the role of Tandi, a mother with a young son who is experiencing difficulties trying to conceive another child.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Real Husbands of Hollywood” actress Cynthia McWilliams was originally cast as Tandi, but she ended up taking over the lead role as Julie. LeToya will also be joining co-stars Rockmond Dunbar, Colin Donnell, Brian Tee, Nadine Velazquez, Monet Mazur, Lauryn Hardy, Alex Henderson and Iyanna Arrigo for the new FOX television series.

The new series will explore the dynamics when three diverse couples put modern marriage to the test, tackling issues such as race, sexuality and gender roles. Sounds interesting. We’ll let you know when it’s scheduled to debut.

Superproducer Pharrell Williams is speaking out for the first time since he (and Robin Thicke) was ordered by a judge to pay Marvin Gaye’s family $7.3 million for copyright infringement behind their hit single “Blurred Lines.”

In an interview with the Financial Times, P says the verdict handicaps an artist’s creative expression if they find inspiration in someone else’s work. He explained,

“The verdict handicaps any creator out there who is making something that might be inspired by something else. This applies to fashion, music, design . . . anything. If we lose our freedom to be inspired we’re going to look up one day and the entertainment industry as we know it will be frozen in litigation. This is about protecting the intellectual rights of people who have ideas.”

He goes on to say that everything around us is/was inspired by something or someone else and if you take that away, it will kill creativity. He added,

"Everything that's around you in a room was inspired by something or someone. If you kill that, there's no creativity."

Not only was the Gaye estate awarded their coins for the track, but they’re also gunning for royalties from T.I. (who dropped a verse on the track) and their record labels. They’re hoping to stop distribution of the track until Marvin receives writer’s credit, in which, they will receive, what they believe, their deserved royalties.

It was rumored that the Gaye family was deciding on hitting P with another lawsuit for his highly successful “Happy” track, which appears on the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack. But they recently dispelled those rumors as being 100% false, saying “We have absolutely no claim whatsoever concerning ‘Happy.”

Friday stars “Smokey” and “Craig" linked up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original 1995 comedy film, in which Chris captioned on Instagram, “Me and Cube hanging celebrating the 20th anniversary of "Friday". #andyouknowthismaaan !”

You’ll recall, another Friday sequel (following Next Friday& Friday After Next) is reportedly in the works. A few years ago, Cube said he had plans on bringing back the original cast, but, at that time, Chris said he wasn't sure if he would return to reprise his role because he had doubts that the "magic" would still be there.  Cube said he would be making the film with or without Chris being involved.

Hmm…is this pic a sign that they MAY be reuniting to make another classic? Time will tell….

In today's "WTF" interviews, Raven Symone breaks down ALL the controversial-ish that's flown out of her mouth, while Bow Wow blasts "Empire" as stereotypical.  More inside...

The execs at ABC gave Raven Symone a chair and a platform over at "The View" and she's turned herself into one of the most talked about chicks on social media. Werk Raven! On the heels of her celebrated cameo on "Empire," Raven sat down with E! News'Alicia Quarles to explain three trending topics associated with her name: the "N" word on "Empire"; her "defending" a news anchor who insulted Michelle Obama (she says she didn't) and why she does not want to be defined as African American. Here goes:

On Empire co-stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, who each feel differently about using the N-word on the show:

It's hard, because people use it in their everyday language behind the scenes all day, and some shows will air it and some shows won't," she tells us. "And there's a lot of pain connected to it, but then there's a lot of brotherly love connected to it, and I feel like you shouldn't say a word you wouldn't let anybody else use."

On "defending" Univision host Rodner Figueroa's comments about FLOTUS looking like "part of the cast of Planet of the Apes":

"I don't think I was defending. I think he got fired for a reason. It was very distasteful what he said, it was very distasteful. And I don't believe she looks like one at all. I don't believe she should've been casted, but I do know that a lot of people I know have animal traits."

"I think any time something is dealing with race, that is still an open wound and you try to look at it from a different standpoint, people are gonna get mad. Especially when it's socially out, blasted, and people don't read the whole story. Just like a lot of my comments. People don't read into the whole story and start making things and they say, I said this and I said this and I'm trying to be a different race, but I'm not trying to be."

Clarifying what she meant when she told Oprah Winfrey she didn't like the African American label:

"I never said I wasn't black. I said I wasn't African American and to me, that's a difference," she explains and mentions that she recently found out, thanks to a DNA test from Ancestry.com, that she's actually from almost every country in Africa and Europe.

"We are a melting pot of beauty. We have to embrace the different cultures we have. And if you don't, we're still gonna have these problems that are blasting up everywhere. And call me hippie, call me a free-thinker, call me someone that's looking for a better life, but I wanna be in a better world."

Shad Moss is brand new. That "Bow Wow" persona is gone. He still pops bottles and hits the club, but now that he's got a high-profile gig on CBS with "CSI: Cyber", he can turn his nose up at stereotypical-ish like "Empire". SIDEBAR: Didn't he build his career on Empire-ish antics?

During an interview with Global 14, Bow Wow Shad came for Lee Daniels and the entire "Empire" franchise, calling their show stereotypical. At this point in his life, he's over playing rappers and athletes.

On CSI and what the show mean for racial diversity?
When we were still filming Cyber episodes, Empire‘s first episode premiered. Fans were saying, “Man, you should have been on the show.” But we all don’t rap or play basketball. We can do so many things. There are young African-Americans who are intelligent enough to work at the FBI. That’s what’s so bright. Hopefully, I can help start a new wave of young black actors who don’t want to stereotype themselves.

Is new music in the pipeline?
Now that we’re on hiatus from shooting Cyber, I’m focusing on music. Bow Wow 2015 is revived, mature, happy, partying, dope and fresh. I’ve been in the studio with Snoop, Wiz Khalifa, Big K.R.I.T., Migos and Musiq Soulchild. I’ve also wrapped a first single so fans can get ready for some new music in the next couple of weeks.

Hey, we're all for roles for black actors covering MULTIPLE perspectives....but we're not here for black actors publicly tearing down a successful non-reality show with a talented black leading cast.

The Internet and social media was all abuzz after a chick named Briona Mae posted up a few Instagram pics and videos, alluding she might be Chris Brown’s new main chick. But, Breezy shut that down with the quickness. In other news, Chris is one happy man after a judge officially took him OFF probation!

So, when a chick named Briona Mae started posting up pictures and videos to her Instagram page (which she has since made private) strategically leading folks to believe she was on tour with him...and alluded to being his new chick, fans were in a frenzy.

But, Breezy shut her down…real quick. He took to his Twitter to confirm he does NOT have a new girlfriend and that chick was being deceptive with her posts.

In other "Breezy" news....

Chris Brown can thank the Lord above because after nearly six years of being on probation (and countless run-ins with the law) he is FINALLY OFF probation in the Rihanna assault case!

Following his probation being revoked, Breezy was due in court this morning where the judge offered him a huge break by NOT throwing him in jail AND officially signing off for him to be a free man, confirmed by TMZ.

We told you his probation was revoked after he did not receive permission to travel to San Jose for an appearance, where shots eventually rang out leaving five people wounded. To make matter worse, he was also in attendance at 1OAK at a VMA party resulting in Suge Knight getting shot.

Breezy then had todelay his “Between the Sheets” tour (with Trey Songz & Tyga) after a judge denied his travel plans due to not completing his community service. Breezy knocked out his remaining community service, rescheduled some dates and ended his BTS tour last night in Hampton, VA.

Suge Knight is showing his a** in court today. Dude FELL OUT after the judge set his bail at a whopping $25 million. Peep the pics and video of him laid out inside…

It was a very interesting day in court today, to say the least, after the scene Suge Knight put on. Moments after a judge set his bail at $25 million in his recent murder case, the Hip Hop mogul collapsed in a L.A. courtroom, causing the L.A. fire department to intervene and roll him out of the courtroom on a gurney. Oh Suge....
 

According to Suge’s attorney Matthew Fletcher, his client--co-founder of Death Row Records--has been held in solitary confinement and has not received any of his medication to help control his diabetes since yesterday, which he claims is the cause of his client passing out. Hmph. His attorney says he was knocked unconscious after he hit his head on a chair when he fell out.

L.A. County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida said Suge was taken to a jail hospital ward where he was evaluated.
 

It definitely appears Suge is using his diabetes to his advantage. And we’re not the only ones who think so. The L.A. Times reports Deputy Dist. Atty. Cynthia J. Barnes said she believed Suge “did it in front of the cameras.”

In February, Suge was arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder after he ran over two men, Terry Carter (who died from his injuries) and injuring Cle Shaheed "Bone" Sloan. The video footage of his deadly hit-and-run was captured on tape and you can peep that HERE.

Since his incarceration, Suge has sought emergency medical care THREE times and also claims he's going blind! At one point, he fired his attorneys, and it appeared he was going to represent himself, but clearly he changed his mind.
 

Following Suge's court appearance, his lawyer spoke with the press, comparing Suge’s case to that of a child molester. He said child predators don’t even get $25 million bails, so it infuriates him when the system is used like this. Ummm….ok sir. Peep Suge falling out below:

Kelly revealed that she gained 70lbs during her pregnancy and she's been working feverishly to shed the weight.

I'm in the process of it. My trainer Jeanette is really awesome, and we go through all these different routines. 'You know, we just have to get more into the swing of everything now, especially because I like to change my workouts up so much. Now I get a chance to be outside...I just get a chance to enjoy the outside air. I'm completely inspired by spring.'

And because the weather in NYC has been so nasty, with record-breaking chills and snowstorms, she and Claritin celebrated the dawn of Spring with a live performance.  They invited members of The City of New York Department of Sanitation to enjoy the festivities (and a warm room!) to thank them for all their hard work through this stormy winter.

Afterwards, Kelly was spotted leaving HUFF POST studios where she donned a warm coat before dashing back out into the frigid NY weather.

Tamar Braxton celebrated her birthday with party last night. 

She had friends like Kim Porter and her hubby Vince front and center for the fun times.  And she also took a minute to respond to reports of her being rushed to the hospital recently.

Reports stated that Thursday afternoon, "The Real" co-host complained of anxiety and shortness of breath, and was then rushed to the hospital.  But she was on the party scene Friday night.  Before her b-day party, Tamar took to the 'Gram to explain saying:

Speaking of clearing up rumors, Jamie Foxx is speaking out about his rumored romance with Katie Holmes.  When a picture hit the net of the two holding hands during a private moment, it definitely roused up rumors from past years that these two are an item.

But yesterday, while Jamie hit up an ATM in Westlake, CA, the paparazzi caught up with him and questioned him about it all.  Jamie's response? 

Jamie said folks have been trying to make that happen for three years, and it's still untrue.  But he did reveal he and Katie have been working on an animation project they are doing with "CSI" creator Anthony Zuiker.

A few fab folks made their way to D.C. yesterday for the White House Film Festival.  Check out Terrence J. and friends chopping it up with a few young filmmakers and President Obama inside...

President Obama's administration is all about the Call To Arts.  And Mr. O welcomed the youngins to yesterday's event saying:

"Welcome to the second-annual White House Film Festival. It’s like the Sundance or Cannes of film festivals that are open to the public through a government website. It may also be the only film festival where one of the entrants has his tooth loose."

He continued:

"This is the second year that we’ve hosted the White House Student Film Festival, and it’s a great example of what happens when we just unleash the skills and the imagination of America’s young people."

E! News host Terrence J was tapped to host, and he brought his Think Like A Man family, LaLa and Will Packard, along to help him out:

Angela Simmons hit up the event as well.

And got in some play time with First Dogs Bo and Sunny.

So did Terrence.

Terrence and the President posed it up with actress and co-host Hillary Swank.

Michael Ealy was there to offer up his expertise in the business to the budding filmmakers.

For the second time, Serena Williams is VOGUE's cover girl.  Rocking a blue Rag & Bone sheath dress and a Tate diamond bracelet, the tennis superstar serves up lush hair and a natural face for the annual SHAPE issue for April 2015.

The 33-year-old broke the news in a fabulous way:

By reading her own issue while flaunting her banging bikini body.

In her cover story, she sits alongside bestie and fellow tennis champ Caroline Wozniaki (who is also featured in the issue) as they talk about friendship and forgiveness.  Oh, and those killer bodies.

On Serena's confidence and forgiveness

...you can see it in her recently announced decision to go back to Indian Wells, a tournament she had vowed to boycott permanently after the largely white, largely senior audience booed the then–nineteen-year-old player throughout an entire match. The crowd had believed that Venus had pulled out of a match at the last minute to make sure the two did not play each other in the semifinals. It is a testament to her grit that Serena won on that difficult day, but she spent the next several hours weeping in the locker room. “Say whatever you want about me and Venus,” Williams would later write in her autobiography, “at the end of the day we were just a couple of kids, trying to do our best.”

Every year, officials at the tournament begged her to come back. Every year, she said no. Even a new owner, billionaire Larry Ellison, and his multimillion-dollar makeover of the tournament—there’s now a Nobu—did not sway her. Then, about a year and a half ago, Williams spent Christmas vacation reading Nelson Mandela’s autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom. His account of his struggles caused her to reflect on how she was walking through her own life. “That’s when I realized I had to go back,” she says. “I always talk about forgiveness, but I needed to actually show it. It was time to move on.”

On her personality on the court vs. off the court

"On the court, I am fierce! I am mean and I am tough. I am completely opposite off the court. My confidence just isn’t the same. I wish I was more like I am on the court. Nobody would know that I am constantly crying or complaining.”

On maintaining her physique

“Nowadays everybody goes to the gym.  But when I won my first Grand Slam, I had never been.” Even then, however, she was ambivalent about her naturally muscular physique, refusing to lift weights lest her arms get bigger. “I hated my arms,” she remembers. “I wanted them to look soft.” To this day, she uses TheraBands instead of weights to avoid overdeveloping her muscles.

“I am really shy. I don’t talk to guys. Friends? Yes. But a potential? No. I get nervous that I will say the wrong thing, and then I just start laughing.”

On playing her sister, Venus

“I don’t look at Venus on the court. I can’t,” she said. “If I am winning, I might feel sorry for her. If I’m losing, I will want to knock her out.”

On kids, family, post-career

“I guess,” she says, sounding unconvinced. “I’m not even looking for it.” When the tennis does end, she has plans to expand her interest in fashion beyond her current clothing line on the Home Shopping Network into something more high-end. She also hopes to increase her philanthropic activities—there’s a school in Kenya she has funded, along with a nursing scholarship named after her slain sister, and a partnership with the Equal Justice Initiative, an Alabama-based nonprofit that provides legal representation to indigent clients.

Mo'Ne Davis is building her empire.  The Little League prodigy signed copies of her brand new book this weekend in Philly.  And don't talk ish about the 13-year-old.  Or it'll get you CUT & dismissed.  Find out what happened to a college baseball player recently inside...

Yesterday, at the Barnes & Noble on Walnut Street in Philly, hometown hero Mo'Ne Davis signed copies of her new book Mo'ne Davis: Remember My Name: My Story From First Pitch To Game Changer. Plenty of kiddies and fans were on hand to cop her signature. 

And that's not all.  Disney recently confirmed the network has a Mo'Ne Davis biopic in the works.  And we're itching to know who will play the first girl to earn a win and pitch a shutout in the Little League World Series.  Loves it.

But not everyone loves it. 

Joey Casselberry, a junior first baseman at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania, sent out the disgusting above tweet a few days ago.  And the Twitterverse was NOT having it.

No one should call a 13-year-old girl a slut and gets away with it.   And he didn't.

The AP News confirms Casselberry and his foul mouth has been formaly dismissed from his college baseball team due to the tweet.  the university stated they are "deeply saddened" by the player's tweet.

Now, he can watch her continue to make sports history from the comfort of his couch.

The beautiful people took over the GLAAD Media Awards last night.  Check out Award recipient Kerry Washington, Zoe Saldana, Shonda Rhimes, Viola Davis and more keeping it fab inside....

On Saturday, celebrities and guests gathered for the 26th Annual GLAAD Media Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, which recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBT community and the issues that affect their lives.

New moms Kerry Washington and Zoe Saldana posed it up for a pretty pic on the carpet.

The "Scandal" star received the Vanguard Award from Ellen DeGeneres, all while being a gorgeous vision in silk.  Kerry wore a Hellessy Fall 2015 'Mina' Heavy Silk Crepe Color-Blocked Gown for her big night. 

Flawless.

Kerry caught up with TGIT head honcho and "Scandal" creator Shonda Rhimes on the carpet.

And we know she's super proud of her award.

"How To Get Away With Murder" star Viola Davis looked stunning in white:

The cast of the show won the award for Outstanding Drama Series.

Viola's co-star Aja Naomi King rocked an off-the-shoulder cocktail dress for a chic and sophisticated look.

Zoe Saldana arrived with husband Marco Perego rocking head to toe red.

After hitting the carpet, the twosome cuddled up at their table as usual.

"Orange is the New Black" star Samira Wiley looked great in a plum gown with a sexy neckline and split:

"Empire" star and singer Serayah hit the carpet in a cute look.

Rihanna headed to the West Coast premiere of "HOME" at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California on Sunday.

We've spotted Rihanna rocking some of this season's most fabulous garments for the HOME press tour, and yesterday, she selected Dior.  Gorgeous! 

Rihanna walked the mauve carpet with a few special guests, including her bestie Melissa Forde.  They made a few funny poses. 

And looked who arrived in her own HOME -inspired vehicle!  It's Rihanna's adorable little cousin Majesty.  

She posed with producer Mireille Soria, director Tim Johnson, and producer Suzanne Buirgy.

Rihanna bangs and up-swept hairdo made her look royal.

We don't see Viola Davis, the star of the hit series "HTGAWM" out with her daughter Genesis at many Hollywood events; but, the HOME premiere was an exception. And little Genesis looked so cute in her pink dress.

Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer was out and about to support the cast and crew of HOME as well. Octavia is currently starring in Insurgent with Zoe Kravitiz.

When your dad is head of the MMG Empire, it’s only right he pulls out all the stops for his MMG princess. Rick Ross went all out for his baby girl Toie to celebrate her 13th birthday with a uber fab Chanel Parisian themed birthday bash over the weekend.

Not only did her pops pull a few strings for some live entertainment, he also gifted the teenager to a custom shoe closet with 13 pairs of designer sneakers and shoes, a black and white Chanel designed tiered cake and pastries, a “bling” station, a photobooth to snap pics with her friends and a makeup beauty station.
 

Toie's guests were gifted custom Reebok gift bags filled with iPhone chargers, custom branded notebooks, water bottles and custom branded chocolate bars. Not only that, the MMG princess and her friends partied hard as rappers Rich Homie Quan, Dej Loaf, Ace Hood and K. Camp hit the stage:
