Nicki Minaj opens The Pink Print with "All Things Go", an honest look into her life, revealing an engagement, the death of a child and simmering issues with her relatives.  Listen inside...

A few days shy of the December 15th release of The Pink Print, Nicki Minaj leaked "All Things Go", the autobiographical opening to her upcoming disc.  Produced by Boi-1da and Allen Ritter, and co-written by Ester Dean and Anderson Hernandez, it's perhaps the most intimate look into the life of Onika Tanya Maraj. She reveals the following in lines from the track:

She lost a child during her teenage years,"My child with Aaron, would've have been sixteen, any minute",

She got engaged (to Safaree we assume),"Ten years ago, that's when you proposed/I look down, yes I suppose",

She has strained relations with her mom, 'I love my mother more than life itself...I'd give it all, if I could somehow, just rekindle that...",

And she has a few family issues,"I lost my little cousin to a senseless act of violence...Cause since I got fame, they don't act the same."

In addition to the new track, Nicki, Lil' Wayne and Drake have shot a video for "Only" which will be dropping in support of the album.  But about "All Things Go"...

Charles Barkley has been very vocal regarding his thoughts and concerns surrounding the Ferguson unrest, the policing of Black communities and racial profiling.  Watch a controversial clip from his upcoming CNN interview inside...

We know this guy loves controversy.

Retired NBA Hall of Famer and NBA on TNT analyst Charles Barkley sat down with CNN yesterday for an interview that touched on some of the highly politicized events of the past few weeks, including the Ferguson uprising, the grand jury's decision and police presence in Black communities.  Although the interview has not aired in full, some of Charles' comments have leaked and have already created controversy.  And people are not feeling his take on blaming the black community -- at least in part -- for racial profiling.

Here are a few choice bits:

On racial profiling:  'We have to look at ourselves in the mirror.  To act like we hold no responsibility for some of this stuff is disingenuous.  We never discuss race in this country until something bad happens. And even then it usually reflects a tribe mentality. Everybody wants to protect their own tribe, whether they are right or wrong.'

On the choking death of Eric Garner: 'I don't think they were trying to kill Mr. Garner.  He was a big man and they tried to get him down.'

On heavy policing in black communities: 'We as black people, we have a lot of crooks. We can't just wait until something like (the Brown shooting) happens. We have to look at ourselves in the mirror. There is a reason that they racially profile us in the way they do. Sometimes it is wrong, and sometimes it is right.'

On the Ferguson riots:"Anybody who walks out peacefully, who protests peacefully, that's what this country was built on. But to be burning people's property, burning police cars, looting people's stores, that is 100% ridiculous."

The FULL interview with Charles Barkley airs on CNN today at 2 p.m. ET.  We will also hear him discuss Ray Rice and the NFL and Chris Rock's comment about income disparity....

Is it a new baby boy for 45-year-old media mogul Tyler Perry and his 28-year-old girlfriend Geilila?  Well based on a series of tweets from Geila's sister, Anna, it's quite possible the two have welcomed their new bundle of joy.

On November 30th, Anna -- who spent Thanksgiving with Geilia and they appear to be super close -- gushed about the love of her life making their arrival.  And how sweet it is to be an auntie:

So did the notoriously private couple welcome a baby boy right after Thanksgiving?  It's quite possible.  It's also a slight possibility Anna's speaking about another sibling's or close friend's baby.  But....time will tell.

The court battle is on once again between Deion Sanders and his ex-wife Pilar Sanders. Find out why Deion has filed a new defamation lawsuit against Pilar inside….

NFL network analyst and Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders is taking his ex-wife Pilar Sanders (aka Pilar Love El Dey) back to court! Why you ask? Well…apparently Pilar has been blasting her ex-husband on social media. And Deion wants it to stop! 

According to reports, Deion filed a defamation lawsuit against Pilar on Nov. 24th in Collin County after she accused him on multiple crimes including child abuse, spousal abuse, assault…and the shocker…attempted murder. The suit also references an interview Pilar did recently on The O’Reilly Factor. In the interview, Pilar chimed in on domestic abuse and NFL players. She said,

"The men are narcissistic and they're used to people cheering for them any time they walk into a room. They expect that at home, and when they don't get it, what they're used to on the field comes home with them. The men are very irritable, they're very up and down, and the women often are not even aware that they're in an abusive situation, as I was."

On Instagram, Pilar has posted what appears to be a court order against Deion:

Hmm..she fired off that last tweet on November 25th...one day after he filed the lawsuit. She better be careful.

Deion has had enough and is now seeking $200,000 to $1 million in damages. Outside of her social media antics, Deion claims Pilar has been contacting his sponsors, employers, and friends (either directly or indirectly) making similar false statements. And according to the suit, Pilar has ignored his requests to stop.

On November 25th, a judge granted a temporary restraining order against Pilar that prevents her (or any of her representatives) from making any statements or publishing any video or audio recordings meant to destroy Deion Sanders’ reputation and character. The order also bans her from coaching her children to make defamatory statements about their father.

A hearing on a temporary injunction is scheduled for next week.

Sad that their kids are being dragged through all this. We’ll keep you posted….

It's been an amazing year for Keke Palmer. First, she became the youngest talk show host in television history when "Just Keke” premiere on TV and a few months later, she because the first Black actress to star as Cinderella on Broadway.

Now, the 21-year-old singer/actress is talking to ESSENCE about her road to success, how she's becoming a voice for her generation, discovering who she is outside of a man and standing up against online judgments.  The article is titled "Sugar & Spice" and also delves into her decision to focus on her career (not romance) and how her work pushes racial boundaries. I know that the role of Cinderella is primarily for a Caucasian girl, but it didn’t stop me from going in and it didn’t stop them from seeing me.

It has now been confirmed that Kelly Rowland just suffered the tragic loss of her mother, Doris Rowland Garrison.  Details inside...

There is more sad news today involving a tragic death of a parent. Kelly Rowland's mother, Doris Rowland Garrison, has passed away in Atlanta at the age of 66 after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The news broke last night on social media, but we decided to await a more formal and credible confirmation.

Kelly, via her publicist, gave the heartbreaking confirmation today to E! News:

"It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my mother, Doris Rowland Garrison. She was an incredible soul who made countless sacrifices so that I could become the woman—and now mother—I am today," Rowland said in a statement Wednesday. "We humbly appreciate all the love and support and only ask for privacy during this difficult time."

The sad news was revealed late last night, on the heels of "RHOA" star Todd Tucker's mother's death, via the Twitter account of @PoliticaDAM, who is said to be a friend of the family.  Interestingly, once fans demanded proof and scolded him for telling the world before the family could, the owner made the Twitter account private.

Foti Kaliergis, a reporter for ABC News in Houston, also tweeted out the news.  We reached out to him for proof of confirmation but our request was not returned:

We're still a few days away from the release of J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive album (due December 9th), but its already causing quite a stir on social media.  A newly leaked track, "Fire Squad", contains numerous lyricals jabs and many of those jabs were towards white rappers. 

Jermaine (J) Cole comes for Macklemore, Eminem and Iggy Azalea as the top offenders who've taken Black culture and ran with it. He raps,

"History repeats itself and that’s just how it goes
Same way that these rappers always bite each other’s flows Same thing that my ni**a Elvis did with rock ‘n’ roll
Justin Timberlake, Eminem, and then Macklemore"

And then there's this about Iggy

All you “Best Man” fans will be happy to hear that the third installment of the film's series is on its way. And for the first time, one of the original cast mates Harold Perrineau has confirmed its upcoming arrival. More inside…

The Best Man series will be adding yet another installment of the movie we first fell in love with in back in 1999. The YBF guys (Lance, Harper, Murch, Quentin) and the ladies (Jordan, Robin, Shelby [RIP to Mia]) will be returning to the big screen for the newest film titled, The Best Man Wedding.

For the first time (since it was confirmed over the summer) one of the cast mates from the critically acclaimed rom-com has confirmed the movie is in the works. And it’s none other than actor Harold Perrineau aka “Murch”.

The Best Man actor stopped by daytime talkshow “The Real” today where he assured fans the movie is definitely in the works with production starting in 2015 and we can expect it to hit theaters April 15, 2016! Woot!

When asked by co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley if a new movie will join the series (now trilogy) he responded, “Haha, yes there is another one.” Yes! We are so here for it.

Following The Best Man& The Best Man Holiday, writer/director Malcom D. Lee has been confirmed to return for his directorial skills and Sean Daniel will be returning to produce the new flick.

Universal Pictures revealed the entire cast (minus Monica Calhoun since her character died in the last film) will also be returning for their respective roles including Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, Terrence Howard, Harold Perrineau, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, Melissa De Sousa and Regina Hall.

Mama Joyce has spoken out about the death of Todd Tucker's mother, Miss Sharon, expressing her regrets and revealing that she wants a better relationship with Todd.  More inside...

Earlier today, we brought you sad news about the passing of Todd Tucker's mother, Miss Sharon.  Now, Mama Joyce, who engaged in several fights with Miss Sharon on "RHOA", is expressing her regrets about the life lost and her own behavior.

Shortly after the death was announced, Mama Joyce spoke to TMZ, saying she was sorry about attacking Sharon and repeating gossip (which was later proven untrue). She also said she wished they could have patched things up before her death.

Having said that, Mama Joyce does not plan to attend the funeral (because of their history) but she WILL send flowers. Also, she told TMZ that she wants to have a better relationship with Todd.  We hope she follows through and becomes someone Todd can turn to. 

RIP Miss Sharon.

We are days away from Lil Wayne releasing Part 1 of his much-delayed 11th studio album Tha Carter V (Dec. 9th). And as he gears up for its debut, he’s gracing the cover of NYLON Guys’ December 2014/January 2015 issue.

In the cover story, Weezy proclaims himself as one of the last of a dying breed and believes there are only two other artists who are on his level. And that would be…Beyonce and Kanye West. He dished to the mag,
 

“When I first started doing it, you only did it to be the best — not to have a hot song or popularity or for Instagram or Twitter. I’m one of the last of a dying breed… the ones who are only about the music. You have to want to be unforgettable. The only other people who I can think of like that are Kanye [West] and Beyonce.”

On another magazine cover...

With all of the social unrest as a result of the recent police killings of African-American men/teens, Chris Rock has not been one to hold his tongue, speaking out against police brutality. And in a new essay penned by the Top Five writer/director for The Hollywood Reporter’s Dec. 12th issue, Mr. Rock keeps it real on what it’s like being a black actor in Hollywood and the very blatant racism that still exists today. He writes,
 

"It's a white industry. Just as the NBA is a black industry. I'm not even saying it's a bad thing. It just is. And the black people they do hire tend to be the same person. That person tends to be female and that person tends to be Ivy League. And there's nothing wrong with that. As a matter of fact, that's what I want for my daughters. But something tells me that the life my privileged daughters are leading right now might not make them the best candidates to run the black division of anything. And the person who runs the black division of a studio should probably have worked with black people at some point in their life. Clint Culpepper [a white studio chief who specializes in black movies] does a good job at Screen Gems because he's the kind of guy who would actually go see Best Man Holiday. But how many black men have you met working in Hollywood? They don't really hire black men. A black man with bass in his voice and maybe a little hint of facial hair? Not going to happen. It is what it is. I'm a guy who's accepted it all."

Gotta love when Chris keeps it 100.

The funnyman also reflected on when he first entered onto the Hollywood scene. He gave us a sneak peek on what it was like being around Eddie Murphy while filming on the set for the 1987 film Beverly Hills Cop II. He revealed,

"I was probably 19 when I first came to Hollywood. Eddie Murphy brought me out to do Beverly Hills Cop II and he had a deal at Paramount, so I remember going through the gates of the Paramount lot. He's in a Rolls-Royce, and he's not just a star, he's the biggest star in the world. Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer's office was in the same building as Eddie's office, and they would come to work every day with matching cars. Some days it would be the Porsches, and the next day it would be Ferraris. I was like the kid in A Bronx Tale. I got to just hang around when the biggest parts of show business were happening. I was only there a couple of weeks, but I remember every day Jeffrey Katzenberg would call Eddie Murphy — I don't even know if Eddie was calling him back — but it was like, "Jeffrey Katzenberg called again." "Janet Jackson just called." "Michael Jackson called." It was that crazy. I've still never seen anything like it. I had a small part in the movie, but my dream was bigger than that. I wanted to have a convertible Rolls-Royce with a fine girl driving down Melrose blasting Prince."

Tons of celebs in and around the YBF community have voiced their digust, disdain and hurt over the No Indictment ruling by a Staten Island Grand Jury in the Eric Garner police brutality case.  We've rounded up some of the powerful celeb reactions inside...

Twice in almost 10 days, a Grand Jury has done the extremely rare act of giving a No True Bill (no indictment) ruling on a case involving a police officer and an unarmed black man.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Eric Garner, a husband and father of six kids who was killed after a fatal chokehold by police after SUSPICION of loose cigarette sales, would not receive justice.  The officer(s) in his case would not be indicted on ANY charge.

The ruling shook vocal and non vocal celebs into expressing their anger with constant police brutality against blacks, constant injustice and everything in between.

Diddy said, while looking worse for wear:

Mariah Carey returned to the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting stage last night to belt out--live--her Holiday hit "All I Want For Christmas Is You"...and we're wondering if she should have actually showed up to the pre-tape the night before instead.

After reports stating that Mariah was a no-show at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting pre-tape Tuesday night (she tweeted that it "was beyond her control") while her Lambs waited out in the cold and rain for her, she finally hit the stage last night for the live show.  And it was a doozy.

Our source, who was on the scene for the pre-tape, tells us that the kid dancers and band in her performance were there Tuesday night running through the song several times...but not once did Mariah make an appearance (as scheduled).  And people were PISSED.

So Wednesday night, the Queen of Christmas brought her best off-key performance to the 82nd annual Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in NYC, and we've got video below:

But at least she tried to dazzle the crowd with her usual pizazz.  Thoughts?

Oh that Azealia Banks.  Some may call her crazy, but chick often nails a READ when it's totally warranted.  And when others are too scared to speak up.  Check out her latest words for the reigning "Queen of Hip Hop" Iggy Azalea (you know, what mainstream folks have crowned her) about her profound silence on the major police brutality issues affecting the black community and beyond...

Rapper Azealia Banks is never one to hold her tongue--whether she's got an album to promote or not.  The Broke With Expensive Taste raptress went all the way in last night expressing her frustration with those who musically profit off the black community and hip hop culture, but who seemingly have no interest in the very real issues affecting those same communities.

Since Iggy Azalea has proudly accepted her crown as the Queen of Hip Hop (don't get us started), the "Fancy" chick shouldn't be surprised when people call her to task to actual DO something with that title.  You know, since the true essence of hip hop is vocalizing the fight against oppressors of any form (in case Iggy was unaware that hip hop extends past booty shots, a "rap voice" and raunchy lyrics).

Her nemesis Azaleia Banks took to Twitter last night to go clean off about the lack of interest or action Iggy seems to be taking in everything going on in Ferguson, Staten Island and beyond.  So while celebs and everyday people were taking it to the streets and social media expressing themselves about the Grand Jury decisions in the Michael Brown & Eric Garner cases, Azealia wrote:

It was only a matter of time before Iggy attempted to defend herself.  She tweeted about Azealia simply trying to get attention:

And then she popped off about people putting too much emphasis on what's said on Twitter.

But we're not feeling when folks put ALL the emphasis on social media when they're trying to sell a product or themselves, but then trivialize the very vehicle that put them where they are when it's time to use the vehicle for something bigger than themselves.

Iggy made not the best choice of words with her following tweet:

Solange hit up two events in Miami yesterday since trekking it back to the U.S. from her honeymoon in Brazil.  And she's looking effortlessly fab, per usual. Peep her glow inside…

For her first post-marriage appearance, Solange showed up at RIMOWA’s Miami store opening yesterday. And chick was serving all types of glowly fabulousness. The “Losing You” singer kept it fierce in a white crisscrossed halter crop top that she paired with mustard oversized trousers by Rosie Assoulin and white sandals.  Loving this look.  So Miami.

Fresh off her Brazilian honeymoon with husband Alan Ferguson, the newlywed posed it up alongside DJ Leigh Lezark of The Misshapes. During the event, curator Neville Wakefield exclusively unveiled his project of suitcase styles he collaborated with many other artists. All proceeds from the limited edition will go to educational charities in Miami, New York and Brazil. Nice!

With all the rumors surrounding both of the ladies’ relationships with their significant others, Christina Milian and Karrueche Tran linked up for a girls night out in Beverly Hills.  

“Tina Turn Up” (in a super cute plaid pencil skirt) and Kae trekked it to BOA Steakhouse for some good eats and a good ol’ girls chat session about life, love and relationships, we assume. Christina has been in the headlines recently over her rumored budding romance with her YMCMB boss Lil Wayne. Although Christina and Wayne have remained mum on their relationship (other than saying they’re just “friends”) the two have fueled relationship rumors after being spotted rocking matching sneakers and holding hands in Philly and celebrating together for Weezy's birthday in L.A.

Most recently, the twosome debuted their new track "Start A Fire" with a grind-filled performance at the 2014 American Music Awards.

Much like her bestie, Kae has also been making headlines over her on-again off-again relationship with Chris Brown. Last week, Kae released an attention-seeking tweet that she was a “single lady”, which sparked rumors that she and Breezy had called it quits.

She later clarified she was talking about starring on “Single Ladies” (which has been picked up by BET). On the same day Kae said she was a single lady, photos of her beau popped up of him allegedly laid up in bed with a groupie. She has yet to comment on the alleged video stills, but she did confirm she and Breezy are still “on” by posting a picture of her and Chris all smiles a day after Thanksgiving (after spending Thanksgiving apart).

C-Milli is currently filming for her upcoming docu-series debuting on E! titled "Christina Milian Turned Up". It's expected to premiere January 18th.

In today’s round-up of concert performances, we have Estelle taking the stage at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Philly, while Willow Smith, SZA and Jhene Aiko rocked the stage for the “Enter The Void” tour stop in NYC. Peep the pics inside….

Christmas is RIGHT around the corner. So to get everyone in the holiday spirit, Philadelphia held its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at City Hall last night. And British singer Estelle Darlings was tapped for a live performance.  

As she gears up for the release of her new album True Romance, the “Conqueror” singer hit the stage to belt out a few of her soulful singles. In a few days, the British singer will hit the road for her upcoming “An Evening of True Romance” tour.

After her performance, Estelle posed it up with Philly mayor Michael Nutter, Miss Philadelphi and local newsa reporters. Fab.

And at another event...

The "controversial cool kid" Willow Smith (who recently dropped her 3 EP on her 14th birthday) joined budding singer SZA on stage to perform at the Best Buy Theater for the “Enter The Void” tour stop in NYC. SZA, Jhene Aiko and soul band The Internet are headlining the tour, but Willow joined SZA last night for a surprise performance.

This isn’t the first time these two joined forces on stage. Over the summer, the twosome rocked out for their duet of “Domino” at the Rough Trade in Brooklyn.

Spewing soulful and jazzy vibes, the YBF starlet also performed a solo set with a few of her new hits.

And chick appeared to be in her element as she belted out her notes. Go Willow!

Souled Out singer Jhene Aiko had all eyes on her when she hit the stage in this 70s inspired floral ensemble.  Chick loves the hippie ish.

Gabrielle Union is speaking out on the hurt she suffered after falling victim to the celebrity nude photo hacking scandal while visiting The Meredith Viera Show today.  Meanwhile, the Annie cast appeared on “Good Morning America” this AM and Naomie Harris was all smiles at the new James Bond movie announcement. More inside….

Gabrielle Union is still making her media rounds to promote her upcoming film Top Five (which hits theaters next Friday, Dec. 12th). And today, she stopped by “The Meredith Vieira Show” to address (once again) the celebrity iCloud hacking scandal, which resulted in nude photos (meant for her husband Dwyane Wade) of her shared across the Internet.

Last month, Gabby penned an open and very candid essay for Cosmopolitan magazine, expressing how she was plagued by the scandal during what was suppose to be one of the happiest times of her life…her honeymoon. And now, she's opening up about standing up for herself since it appears no one else will.

In today's interview with Meredith, Gabby talked about feeling disheartened that no feminist groups stood in solidarity against the many women who were victims to the hacking scandal. She also talked about how the public never really feels sorry for celebrities (“That we must have done something.") and that the pain she feels over no one else caring never goes away.

In spite of everything, Gabby said:

“I’ll speak up if no one else is going to. In the same way you have to speak up and speak out for any injustice that happens. The second you're silent, the second people think you agree with it.”

Meredith: Right when you were heading out to your honeymoon the rumors resurfaced about pictures of you that were going to circulate around the Internet, private photos, and it turned out to be true. You actually wrote an essay about your experience in Cosmo magazine and it was a great essay about how you felt it was sexual abuse and a crime, and in the essay you ask, ‘I also want to know where are all the women’s groups, the feminist demanding justice in this case? The silence was deafening.’ And I noticed the same thing. Why do you think that was? A lot of photos of famous women.

Garbrielle: Over a 100, just the sheer number of female victims, should have elicited a much greater response, certainly from feminist groups. The Silence was deafening and I didn’t understand. The more I thought about it, the more I realized people think A. we like abuse as women and as celebrity women, that we had it coming. That we must have done something. Victim shaming was very prevalent in this case. We don’t make great victims. People don’t feel sorry for celebrities.

Meredith: Or they’d say why did you take the picture in the first place.

Gabrielle: Yeah, for myself. If it’s on my phone, think of everything you have on your phone, the reality is it’s fair game for hackers, for criminals. Anything you have, your most private moments, photos of ur children, innocent photos of your children in the bathtub in the hands of the wrong people. So for a lot of underage female celebrities it’s child pornography but it didn’t get the kind of response that a crime, a wide spread crime should have been gotten. I think it’s interesting there is so much outrage movies have been stolen from Sony, but what about our bodies, that have been stolen from us that did not get the same amount of widespread, ‘I can’t believe it.’ It was disheartening.
Meredith: Long after they stopped talking about your photos you live with that because you have a family, so that never goes away.

Gabrielle: Yeah, that never goes away and the pain of no one else caring never goes away too.

Meredith: What do you then take away from all of this then Gabby?

Gabrielle: That I have to care enough about myself and be my own best advocate and I’ll speak up if no one else is going to. In the same way you have to speak up and speak out for any injustice that happens. The second you're silent, the second people think you agree with it.

We're just 14 days away from the release of the highly anticipated film Annie. And today, the lead stars in the upcoming holiday flick stopped by “Good Morning America” to chop it up with co-host Robin Roberts about all the fun they had on the set.

YBF star Quvenzhané Wallis (who’s gracing the cover of T magazine’s holiday issue), Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz have been super busy traveling the nation, making stops at different elementary schools producing their very own school-production of the family film. The three have surprised and guided many eager students, offering up acting tips before they hit the silver screen with the readaptation of the classic film.
 

And to melt our hearts:

Cutie Q (starring as Annie) posed for some super cute photos as she played around with her pet in the film "Sandy" in a gold skirt, stripped shirt and her curls. Too cute.

Jamie will star as Will Stacks, an updated version of the character Daddy Warbucks. We're sure he'll bring plenty of laughs.

And Cameron Diaz will recreate the evil Ms. Hannigan. Annie hits theaters Dec. 19th. Can't wait!

Art enthusiast Swizz Beatz is down in Miami for Art Basel 2014 to unveil his new exhibit. Teaming up with SCOPE, Swizz curated a collection of art pieces from a handful of very talented artists for “The Dean Collection”, featuring masterpieces from Lyle Owerko, D*FACE, SWOON studio and more.

Mounted on the walls throughout the exhibit are television screens playing videos of Swizz as he explains to viewers why he handpicked the group of artists for his dope collection.
 

While admiring the work, the art connoisseur snapped it up with Diddy who came out to support his homie’s newest project.

Before heading to Dallas for his “UR Experience” tour stop, Usher trekked it to Miami to check out Swizz's personal picks.

And Busta Rhymes also came out to check out the exhibit.
