Trina is spilling the tea on her "relationship" with French Montana. She revealed she was his ride or die chick up until she found out he was messing around with Khloe Kardashian. And and get this…Trina wouldn’t even mention Khloe’s name, calling her “the other one.” Deets inside…

When French Montana recently chalked up hs relationship with Trina as "some fun thing with no title", we already knew Trina was going to pop back with the tea.

Raptress Trina stopped by Power 105’s The Breakfast Club this morning to dish on the love triangle she has been involved in with "Don't Panic" rapper French Montana and reality star Khloe Kardashian. Now…at one point we all thought Trina and French could have possibly been one of Hip Hop’s newest couples when they were spotted almost everywhere together. And then out of the blue, French was parading around with Khloe on his arm.

In the interview, Trina reveals she held French down while he was going through his divorce (from his wife Dean Kharbouch), despite them never being in an official relationship. She said she pretty much played the role as his girlfriend, but didn’t want to jump into a serious relationship with him because he was still legally married.

She also said she was SHOCKED to learn he was with Khloe because he never told her about it. The “Baddest Bitch” confirmed she and French were actually living together (she still has the keys to his house!) when he started hooking up with Khloe and she didn’t find out about it until it hit the Internet, just how the rest of us found out! Messy boots.  Case in point why you DO NOT "hold down" anybody who isn't holding you down with a title and equal actions you're performing.

Although she felt played, the “F*ck Love” rapper said right now, she’s just living her life, she’s happy and is chalking it up as a lesson learned. She also said her track “F*ck Love” does NOT mean she’s anti-love, but it was more about telling whomever she’s dealing with to NOT try her.

Below are the highlights:

On being in a relationship with French Montana:

“We really was not in a relationship, let’s be clear about that. I never told him ‘I was your girl’. And there are a lot of reasons. I guess now you can see why because you just got a lot of growing up to do. I could come up here and expose you and bash you but I’m so much better than that. I’m not going to do that.

But I will say this, we were friends. And as being friends, today as we speak, makes two years I would have known you since we were friends the day I met you was this day. November 4th it’s Puff’s birthday. We can not forget. It was the most craziest day of my life. We were on a rollercoaster. It was definitely a wild birthday. “

“I think me and him was kind of on the same page but different pages kind of. He had a situation; he was going through a divorce. That was one of the reasons why I never really got into a relationship with him. I wanted that to be clear. But I was there with you every single day and every step of the way while you was dealing and going through that. I was the one who told you to step up to the plate like a man and make the right choice. I was a friend. I was just in your life. But when you say friend, friend not like I’m the girl you met at the club and you was just smashing, not that kind of friend. The friend that when you came to Miami you never slept in a hotel because you stayed at my house every single time. The friend that I have the keys to your house still right now today, that kind of friend. The friend that everything you post on your Instagram, your whole house how it looks, I did that! The friend that sends and imports stuff, furniture from Miami to New York, I did that. So let’s be clear on the friend thing, since you want to be so messy about it because we were friends!”

“Nobody was paying you attention besides New York until me, let’s be clear. “

On how she found out about Khloe Kardashian:
“I found out like the rest of the world. It was all over the internet, it was all over my Twitter, my Instagram. It’s a little surprising when you’re living with somebody and they’re running around with somebody else. So what I’m saying is I’m not going to bash you, to me you were a great person, you were a cool person it’s just, the way you do stuff is just sometimes just disrespectful. Out of respect, you don’t handle situations like that. Because as a friend I held you down and Lord knows the stuff that I can say about you would be overwhelming, but I’m going to let you live though.”

On being cool with the Kardashian Klan:
“I was cool with the ‘other one’ [Khloe] way before. I met her way before all of them. Like years ago, back in the let’s go out, party, get high, have fun days. The fun girl. I don’t have issues with nobody. I’m grown. If stuff don’t work out, I’m not going to fight you for that. I’m independent. I take care of myself.”

She added, “Just be the man and say we was just friends. Don’t make me look like…I don’t play the side chick role. I do not play that.”

 

On if she has spoken to French after everything went down:
“No, I’ve never said one word.” She said she has not seen him or talked to him.

On why she never had a baby by Lil Wayne:
“Wayne was a relationship. I’m not like everybody else, that’s the reason why. I don’t want to be sitting around being nobody’s baby mama with the baby mama drama. I have too many friends that have that life, that’s no my lifestyle. It needs to be a husband, a baby and ever after.”

On if she’s friends with Kim Kardashian:
“I mean if I see her and she speak, I’ll speak. I don’t have a problem with her.”

On Khloe Kardashian:
“I don’t want to fight anybody. Why would I want to fight her? I don’t blame her for that situation. I think everyone is entitled to do whatever they want to do, they grown. You make our choice. I don’t think she was held against her will to talk to him or date. People go when they want to go.”

On her situation with NY Knicks baller Kenyon Martin:
“[It was] a great situation. Here we go with the guys…things happen. It’s almost like this is too good to be true. I think the guy gets scared and intimidated. Then it’s like you expected me to be turned up to 100 and doing a bunch of stuff and I’m just not doing that. So then it’s like this is not the person I thought this was going to be like the freak of the week, like the baddest bitch, that’s not the girl so I think that kind of like messes it up.”

On who she would “eff”, marry and kill between Lil Wayne, French Montana and Kenyon Martin:
“Lets just say eff Kenyon, marry Wayne, kill the other guy.”
 

Damn! Trina also talked about a time she caught the man she was with (she wouldn't reveal his name) cheating on her and had to call her friend LaLa Anthony to come get her before ish got real.

Laker baller Nick Young may be sitting out the beginning of the NBA season due to injury, but his off court game is full steam ahead.  Find out what he said about his and girlfriend Iggy Azalea's relationship...which is getting pretty serious.

Well, THESE two are a bit more serious than we thought.  NBA baller Nick Young and rapper Iggy Azalea recently bought a house together.  And they're already talking marriage. 

In a recent interview with DuJour Magazine, 29-year-old Nick nonchalantly dropped the tea about their new house they bought together and yes, they're talking marriage.

On being surprised Iggy wasn't her "rapper persona" he thought she was:

“From her songs, I thought she’d be all about going to clubs and partying, but it’s the opposite of that,” he says. “She wakes up early every morning to take care of her dogs, and she cooks for me. From her rapping, I was very surprised that she could do all that. She’s a really cool, down-to-earth person.”

On what they fight about:

“We fight over the TV remote because she watches TLC and the Weather Channel all night,” he says. “We argue all the time, but we get it worked out. We understand each other.”

On Iggy being his live-in stylist

“I like shopping a lot, but Iggy’s been on my back saying I should get a stylist.  She picked out my outfit for the ESPY [Awards] and everybody loved it, so now she thinks she’s my stylist!”

On buying a house...together:

“Growing up I always wanted to be married and have a family, and it’s difficult. I ask them every day how they do it. It’s a process,” he says. “Me and Iggy just bought a house. We’ve been getting really close lately. I’ve never been with somebody like this. So, I’m taking it as a challenge.”

On marriage:

“It’s come up a couple times.”

We're all excited about the upcoming holiday film Annie (Out December 19th) starring Quvenzhané Wallis and Jamie Foxx and the duo landed the cover of ESSENCE’s December issue. In a piece titled "Gifted & Grateful" Jamie and Quvenzhane (the face of Armani Junior) chatted with the magazine about their magical remake of the classic Annie, how much fun they had fun working together, handling show business, and how they each plan to ring in this holiday season.

When asked about his Oscar-nominated co-star, Jamie gushed about Quvenzhane,

“I don’t think we could have done this movie unless Quvenzhané came along. It’s sort of like she’s tailor-made for the role in a sense. I would challenge you to find a girl who personifies ‘Annie’ better than Quvenzhané does…

Also, we'll get to hear Quvenzhane sing. She told the mag, "Yes, that's me really singing". Apparently the "LAHH Hollywood" cast was WAY too "turnt up" for the camera at their reunion taping on Monday. Paramedics were called.  So were the police.  Get deets on the Princess Love vs. Morgan fight inside and more leaked details about Yung Berg's fight with Masika Turner.

Do the castmates of "Love & Hip Hop" get extra money for fighting at the reunion?  It would appear that the Hollywood cast plans to follow in the footsteps of the Atlanta cast and are keeping the police department and paramedics busy.  TMZ reports that a a big fight took place between Ray J's girlfriend Princess Love and his former assistant Morgan Hardman.

From what we've learned so far, Morgan said some foul things about Ray J (e.g. that he physically abused her & threw her son off his basketball team) during the reunion.  This upset Princess Love so much that she knocked Morgan on her butt.

Although Ray defended himself verbally, and added that he's never laid a hand on Morgan, Princess Love was not satisfied. She put them paws on Morgan. SMH. Paramedics were called and an ambulance treated Morgan on scene. (check her pic above in a cast).

On social media, Morgan posted, "The truth hurts sometimes with every lie they tell I'm gonna tell the truth just no that. Dark souls stay way away from me not watch me work." 

We assume that statement was directed at Ray and Princess since it was posted after the reunion, meanwhile Ray and Princess are silent for now.  Sigh.....it looks like "fights" are still the norm over at VH1 and "LAHH".

In other reunion brawls...

We've got more news about the Yurg Berg arrest that was posted about this morning. We've learned that the "girlfriend" in the report is his co-star Masika Turner.  We have to assume the couple start dating after taping ended, or maybe their relationship will unfold on-camera in a few weeks... because they WERE NOT a couple as of this past Monday's episode.

According to friends of Masika, Yung Berg flew into a drunken rage after his credit card was declined while they were all out...drunk....after the reunion.   Having his credit card declined upset him so much that he stormed off to the Gershwin Hotel.

Masika paid the bill and followed after Berg, yelling at him for leaving her. At this point, the ish went left and he reacted by allegedly grabbing her by the neck, throwing her on the bed and pulling her out of the room by her hair. Then he allegedly choked her out...hence the "obstruction of breathing" charge.

Get this.....the "friends" are saying that Masika is defending Berg, saying it's out of character for him and she "blames it all on alcohol".  SMH......what kind of B.S. is that?

Since he's made the brand a household name, it's only right he owns the company...at least in part.  Deets on Jay Z purchasing stake in Armand de Brignac champagne inside...

It's ANOTHER huge business move for the Carter household.  And Beyonce& Jay Z have pretty much made simply being the face of a brand seem utterly basic.

They're now owning ish.

According to Bloomberg, the New York Times, and other credible outlets, a new company led by Jay Z just acquired Armand de Brignac Champagne (which Jay gave the moniker Ace of Spades).

Former owner Sovereign Brands said in a statement to outlets today:

“We are proud to announce that Sovereign Brands, a New York-based wine and spirits company owned by the Berish family, has sold its interest in the Armand de Brignac (‘Ace of Spades’) Champagne brand to a new company led by the globally renowned Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter,”

Yvonne Lardner, global director of brand communications for Sovereign, added in an emailed statement:“We have had a wonderful relationship with Jay Z throughout the years since he first discovered Armand de Brignac. He became interested in owning the brand and made us an offer we simply couldn’t refuse.”

Jay Z's company name and the terms of the deal (how much stake is it exactly) have not yet been revealed.  But this is a big freakin' deal.

Jada Pinkett Smith is starring in the upcoming Magic Mike sequel and she’s gushing over her co-star Michael Strahan and his stripper moves. Also, Sherri Shepherd's soon-to-be ex-husband Lamar Sally sat down with "Inside Edition" and he’s dishing on life as single father. More inside…

“Gotham” actress Jada Pinkett Smith is hard at work on a set nowadays. The 43-year-old actress is starring in a hit FOX crime-thriller series playing the evil character Fish Mooney and recently, she was confirmed for a role in the upcoming stripper flick sequel, Magic Mike XXL.

Also starring in the sequel film is “Live with Kelly & Michael” co-host Michael Strahan. In a recent interview with "EXTRA" correspondent AJ Calloway (taped on the “Gotham” set), Jada talked about her new role in the film. And when asked about Michael dancing around in a thong she gushed on her co-star’s “tricks.” She spilled,

"Am I enjoying it? Yes I am!" Jada also shared that her "Magic Mike XXL" co-star Michael Strahan has got his stripping act down. "Oh, let me tell you. I think that was probably the best moment of the show…I said stop playing and stop acting like you never did this before…This ain't your first run. You've done this before!…He was genius."

But don’t think Michael’s moves have anything on her man Will Smith. It's all about "Magic Will" in the bedroom. She quickly responded "No, no, no. I don't do that at home. It's all about Magic Will at home and he's got it down."

We bet! She also gave a little inside scoop on Will’s next possible upcoming role,

"He might be thinking of playing a DC character. We're going to keep that under the wraps for a minute…We were excited that we might be in the DC family together."

Nice! And how about her budding musicians Willow Smith and Jaden Smith?

"It's beautiful to see them coming in to their own. They're their own people. As a mom I couldn't be more proud, really."

Sherri Shepherd’s soon-to-be ex-husband Lamar Sally is living the single dad life now since the demise of his relationship with the Broadway star. Sal has been pretty public with his split from the former “View” co-host and this interview was no different.

During a sitdown with “Inside Edition”, the self-proclaimed TV “writer/producer” revealed he and Sherri (or possibly JUST Sherri, based on how we hear their bank accounts are set up....) paid $100,000 for a surrogate to carry a baby (in which he claims Sherri desperately wanted) for them since they couldn’t produce one on their own. After Sherri couldn’t get pregnant, they met with a surrogate who closely resembled Sherri, using her donor egg. He said,

“Yes, she met her a couple of times. We even used a facial recognition program so we can pick a person that can sort of look like Sherri.”

Problem is…six months in the marriage, Sal alleges Sherri said she no longer wanted to be married to him anymore and wanted a divorce. He responded,

“She says, ‘Sal, I don't think I can be the wife and mother that you need and I think we should divorce.’”

Baby Lamar Jr. was born in August, but since the split, Sherri doesn’t want anything to do with the baby. He said she tried to offer him settlement money to keep her name off the birth certificate, but he refused to take it.

“She offered me a settlement of $150,000 but it was not to have her name on the birth certificate. I can't do that to my son,” said Sal.

The 44-year-old single dad also revealed his infant son was born with a rare genetic disorder called G6PD deficiency, which affects red blood cells. And if not monitored closely, the condition could be fatal.

So what does Sal believe was the cause of their split after two years of marriage?

“She has a lot of issues, that's all I can say,” he said.

ESPN correspondent Cari Champion was taunted on Twitter by comedian Artie Lange who made her the subject of his slavery/rape fantasy.  Read his outlandish tweets and ESPN's response inside...

The art of "comedy" is like a box of chocolates, you never know what response you'll get or how a joke is going to land.  But that's why you keep those obviously disgusting jokes amongst those friends "who can handle. them". 

Enter Artie Lange, a former Howard Stern sidekick with a history of drug abuse and mental illness (he attempted suicide in 2010 and spent 8-months in a psych ward).  For Artie, slavery and rape are interchangeable jokes.   He found himself extremely attracted (if you ant to call it that) to "First Take" host Cari Champion and he began to tweet:

Then....

Online response was swift.  In addition to the creation of #isupportcari, one of her colleagues, Jemele Hill, defended her,

ESPN also defended Cari in a statement to Sports Illustrated,

"His comments were reprehensible and no one should be subjected to such hateful language. They objectify and demean one of our valued employees under the thin guise of “comedy” and are offensive to all of us. We will not dignify them with any other comment."

Artie later offered a half-assed explanation (non-apology) for his tweets,  which actually was even more insulting to the public's intelligence:

Artie is clearly out of line.  And if he has "black friends that can handle it", he needs to know that Cari IS NOT HIS FRIEND.  So, save the jokes for the idiotic people who think slavery are rape is utterly hilarious instead of putting them out to the entire world.

And since when is THIS "modern comedy"?  Maybe people in 1800's would have laughed at this. Artie also said that he's not a racist.  Isn't there a fine line between making simple jokes and letting out your subconscious hatred through jokes?

ESPN and Comedy Central have both taken action against his graphic tweets and behavior.  ESPN has banned him from appearing on the network in any way.  Comedy Central has has cut him from an upcoming gig as well.

Ray J’s exes are talking about all of the foolery that went down during the reunion show taping. And apparently, fights broke out involving Teairra Marie and Ray J and another fight between Morgan Hardman and Ray's current girlfriend Princess Love. Ray J’s ex-girlfriend Teairra Marie and his ex-assistant Morgan Harden hit up Power 105’s The Breakfast Club the morning after taping the “LAHH Hollywood” reunion.  The pre-taped interview aired this morning, and it's a mess.

There's a lot to take in, so get ready:

We told you about the brawls that went down with the “LAHH Hollywood” cast. In one of the several fight that have popped off, Ray J’s ex-assistant Morgan Hardman got into a brawl with Ray J’s current girl Princess Love. The end result? Morgan's hand was injured, but not because of Princess. Morgan dished to the Breakfast Club on what actually went down while on the set.

She said Ray “sicced his dog” (i.e. Princess) on her and that’s when ish went left. Morgan also revealed Princess actually had NOTHING to do with her hand being injured. Princess came after her on the set, punched her and when she tried to fight back, security jumped in and wouldn’t let her fight back. Out of anger, she said she punched the wall since she couldn’t get to her like she wanted to after she tried to attack her.

Why did Princess come for her? She said that a while back, Princess threw her under the bus spreading a rumor that Morgan said Ray was trying to flirt with Masika. Morgan said she never said that but since she wanted to start drama she told Ray,“Well at the end of the day your bitch is still talking to Floyd [Mayweather]. Why you was sitting in jail, your b*tch was talking to Floyd” You’ll recall, Princess use to date Floyd Mayweather before she got with Ray. Then Morgan said Ray actually beats on Princess everyday. Which is the reason why Ray ended up attacking her.

Here’s the deal..Morgan said on June 10th she was trying to stop Ray J from beating Princess and that’s when he assaulted her in front of her 11-year-old son! She said she was involved in an abusive relationship for 5 years and Ray knew that so their relationship is done. Morgan said Ray is a flat out “B*TCH!” Morgan also implied Ray hits his big sister Brandy. Oh?!

Morgan confirmed Ray did NOT fire her, she left. She also confirmed she NEVER had sex with Ray.

Morgan then went on to say her former boss got her 11-year-old son Corey kicked off of his basketball team! Apprently, he’s a sponsor for the team, so he allegedly told the coaches to kick him off the team. She said Ray is the only man that has been in her son’s life, so it hurts that “Uncle Ray J” is being so spiteful.

Morgan said Ray REALLY needs help because he has a serious problem.

Teairra Marie confirmed Ray has NEVER hit her. She said Ray J was cheating on her with Princess Love when they were together. So who is she dating now? She said she’s currently single right now.

Teairra said she and Hazel E were good friends, but they have deep issues. And she will never “f*ck” with her ever again [as best friends].

Teairra said she REGRETS doing the VH1 show and that the reunion taping was A LOT. (Be she's on next season though...)

She doesn’t think Mona Scott Young is exploiting them, but rather they are exploiting themselves. During the taping, she confirmed she fought Ray and Princess on the set! She was blindsided by something (which she wouldn’t reveal) dealing with Ray, so that’s what set her off.

Teairra said she still loves Ray, but she’s not in love with him.  As for the last time she had sex with him -- it was a little over a year ago.

Teairra then talked about when she first got into the music industry, after signing with Jay Z's Roc-A-Fella. So what happened to her career? She said it had a lot to do with management, her mom and her BIG ego. She admits that maybe she wasn’t ready when she was got signed at the age of 16. As for what she’s doing right now, she’s in the studio working with Yung Berg and he’s doing the majority of her album.  Ugh.

You’ll recall, Berg was arrested for “obstruction of breathing” in a domestic violence incident with his girlfriend Masika after the reunion taping. Teairra and Morgan both said they have never seen Berg act that way. They believe he was probably really intoxicated and Masika has a mouth, so the combination was probably what lead to what went down.

Morgan then broke down crying saying she has been there for Ray through everything. She said Ray was the person who gave her her first opportunity to get off welfare and create a good life for her and her son. Girl....

The amazeballs cover features the man who has choreographed and danced with Madonna (at the Superbowl), Janella Monae ("Tightrope" video) Yo-Yo Ma, and was even "discovered" in his hometown of Memphis (he was born in Chicago) by director Spike Jonze who uploaded video he took of Charles dancing "The Swan" at home.  That Youtube video has 2.7 million views since 2007.

We saw this coming. That “leaked” tracklist making its rounds on social media for an alleged upcoming Beyonce Volume 2 album is a fraud! Get the deets inside…

A few days ago, an alleged tracklist for a “surprise” BeyonceVolume 2 album (with Columbia’s logo plastered on it) popped up on social media and it circulated like a wild fire. But apparently, it’s a fake! Like we figured (which is why we didn't post it).

We noticed the release dates listed on the “leaked” line sheet didn’t match up:
 

As you can see, the sheet says Monday, November 25th is the release date for the physical four-disc copy with all these new songs featuring Rihanna, Nicki, etc.. November 25th is actually on a Tuesday, not Monday. Seemed like a rookie mistake, so we assumed the leaked information was likely falsified.

However, a four-disc Beyoncé Platinum Edition Box Set (2 CDs & 2 DVDs) is happening. And it's expected to drop November 24th, just in time for the holidays. It includes only two unheard tracks "7/11" and "Ring Off". But neither of those tracks were included in the leaked line sheet.

Now, Parkwood Entertainment’s general manager Lee Anne Callahan-Longo is deading all the rumors of the alleged Volume 2 disc.

During an interview with Billboard, Lee Anne confirms the track list for the supposed Beyonce Volume 2 is bogus. It featured fan fabricated song titles “KO”, “Good In Good Bye”, “Sensation of Pain” and guest features including “Renouncement (featuring Justin Timberlake)”.  Sorry Beyhive.

In an official statement Lee Anne says she found the “leaked” tracklist rather funny. She said,

"It's completely made up. After all the hubbub this weekend, we kind of said, 'Well, let’s just put it out and say what it is.' It’s funny, I got a bunch of calls over the weekend and I would say, 'It’s exciting to know people are excited.' Even if they’re reporting it wrong, and that people would take their time to go and create a fake one-sheet — right down to using a Columbia logo on it. I would love to know who did it. They clearly knew what a line sheet used to look like – they don’t look that anymore.”
 

The line sheet almost seemed legit since there were two songs listed that have been registered on the ASCAP website (we checked and they're still there) under Bey’s name. Those songs are “DONK” and “Cherry”:

So we may (or may not) see those two tracks on an upcoming LP or elsewhere, but there have been no confirmations....as of yet. 

Lee Anne added, "You could never have imagined their creativity. So seeing some of those [song] names, that was so fun and exciting. You can only be first once, so I’m not sure we’d want to do it again. We typically at Parkwood like to look at projects where, if it isn’t unique or different in some way, it’s really not interesting to us.”

Well, there you have it.

Pop star Rihanna was spotted exiting and re-entering her vehicle as she ran a few errands in New York City. No fan of PETA, Rihanna rocked a bright pink fur coat.  We dare PETA to try it and tweet her.  Double dare.

Keke Palmer and Sherri Shepherd, both of them starring in Cinderella on Broadway, greeted fans at the stage door following last night's performance.  Sherri is ending her run as the evil stepmother (she'll be replaced by Nene Leakes) and will soon star in a multi-episode arch on "Soul Man" with Niecy Nash and Cedric the Entertainer. 

Speaking of Mrs. Leakes, she appeared on GMA this morning to dish on her clothing line and replacing Sherri in Cinderella.

While Nene is on Broadway, she'll also be starring on the 7th season of RHOA which kicks off on Sunday.

LaLa and Poe took NYC's midtown by storm as they dined at TAO restaurant.

Lala is set to reprise her role as Lakeisha on the Starz series "Power" when it returns in 2015.  CUte!

Hip-Hop's dynamic duo Dr. Dre (real name Andre Young) and Jimmy Iovine were the men of the hour during WSJ magazine’s 2014 Innovator Awards ceremony at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC last night. The music industry leaders and masterminds behind Beats by Dre headphones were presented the Entrepreneurship Award (presented by Eminem) for their creative and innovative efforts in the entertainment and technology industry.

The Beats co-founders (who sold their technology brand to Apple for a cool $3 billion earlier this year) recently launched a new academy at the University of Southern California with the goal of inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs. The Hip Hop pioneers invested a whooping $70 million to fund their new academy. Jimmy spoke on the brand new project saying,

“We wanted to build a school that we feel is what the entertainment industry needs right now. The kid who’s going to have an advantage in the entertainment industry today is the kid who speaks both languages: technology and liberal arts. That’s what this school is about.”
 

They’ve revolutionized hip-hop and headphones. Now it looks like they are ready to revolutionize higher education. What can't these two accomplish?

Dr. Dre’s wife of 18 years Nicole Young was there to support her husband during the ceremony. She hit the carpet in a black plunging neckline gown featuring a high slit to show off just enough leg.

Professional dancer Charles 'Lil Buck' Riley was also one of the night’s honorees. He was presented the Performing Arts Award for his amazing choreography skills. International supermodel Joan Smalls joined him on the carpet for the night’s festivities. These two also graced The Innovators Issue cover of the Wall Street Journal Magazine. And it’s HOT. Rapper Fabolous got dapper a brown, two button, notch lapel plaid jacket, brown pants, and a charcoal quarter button up shirt, all by Ermenegildo Zegna Couture. Looking clean Fab!

Hosted by CIROC, the ladies celebrated over dinner and cocktails in NYC for the launch of actor/director Bill Dukes’ new book, Dark Girls. The book praises the strength, grace and power of many different types of women, featuring a collection of celebrity interviews from notable brown beauties: Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, singer/actress Vanessa Williams, comedia/daytime tv talkshow host Sheryl Underwood and more.
 

Meeka and Yandy (who is expecting a baby girl) were spotted chatting it up during the dinner. Hey Meeka!

LaLa Anthony's bestie Po Johnson was all smiles with her copy posing it up with Ericka Pittman.

Tuesday night, the Republican party made history (in one of the worst voter turnouts in recent years) in sending three African Americans to Washington, DC, but those historical wins are guaranteed to have a positive impact on issues of the Black community.  Speak on it inside...

If you're into politics, Tuesday night was many things.  And definitely full of drama.  The Democrats lost several seats, causing the Senate to flip over to Republican control.  SO with a fully Republican-controlled Congress, President Obama's life just got more stressful.  Can he live?

There were lots of historical wins for blacks, but hold on a second before you start cheering.

Utah selectedMia Love as the first black female GOP candidate (and first Haitian) elected to Congress in US History.  And she's also the first person of color ever to represent the state; South Carolina elected Sen. Tim Scott (above), making him the first black person elected to statewide office since Reconstruction and the first ever black senator elected in South Carolina; while House of Representatives candidate Will Hurd became the first black Republican elected in Texas since Reconstruction.

Some might argue that these "historical" wins aren't wins at all for Blacks (if you're into the passage of bills that may actually help the race). Here's what Rep. James E. Clyburn, a black Democrat, had to say about Sen Tim Scott,

“If you call progress electing a person with the pigmentation that he has, who votes against the interest and aspirations of 95% of the black people in South Carolina, then I guess that’s progress.”

SIDEBAR: Sen. Scott was already in the Senate when he ran (he was appointed), but this election, he was ELECTED by the voters.

And when Rep Mia Love spoke to CNN about her historical win, she completely sidetracked the whole "black woman" thing and said race and gender has NOTHING to do with her win.

Well, first of all, I think what we need to mention here is this has nothing do with race. Understand that Utahans have made a statement that they're not interested in dividing Americans based on race or gender, that they want to make sure that they are electing people who are honest and who are -- who have integrity, who could be able to go out and actually make sure that we represent the values that they hold dear.

So you all in Utah shouldn't expect much support when it comes to helping minorities, or even laws that simply level the playing field and make life more fair for everyone.

In 2012, the former Saratgoa Springs Mayor made waves as a speaker at the 2012 Republican National Convention.  Then, she ran for House of Representatives as the Republican candidate on a fiscally conservative platform of limited government and placed a heavy emphasis on "personal responsibility" during her campaign.  We all know "personal responsibility" is code for, 'No, I don't believe in leveling the playing field by creating/adjusting laws that would make life fair for usually slighted minorities.'

For instance, Mia believes colleges should be competing for students, and federal government should have no place in higher education in order to "bring down the costs".  Interesting, since public institutions are usually less expensive than private ones with no federal aid.  Even private HBCUs receive much needed financial help from the federal government. And does "compete for students" mean "leave it up to colleges to choose who they want"...which opens the door to discrimination if they deem it necessary?

By the way, "Mia's" birth name is Ludmya Bourdeau...and her birth place is Brooklyn.  In '98, after graduating college, she converted from Roman Catholic to Church of Latter Day Saints.  That same year, she met her husband, John, in September....and married him in December.  They now have 3 children.

She lost that year, but won this week. 

Then, there's Will Hurd in Texas. The best way to sum up the conservative former CIA officer is to say he's anti-Obama. He beat his opponent by describing him as beholden to President Barack Obama's policies, because you know, affordable healthcare to all and immigration reform are bad things to many in this country.

So....were these wins...actually wins?

Get your “Awwwws” ready. Beyonce and Solange wrote the cutest messages to their “sister” Kelly Rowland, congratulating her on the arrival of their “nephew” Titan Witherspoon. Peep the adorable notes inside…

Congratulations were in order when Kelly Rowland gave birth to her first-born son Titan Jewell Witherspoonon Nov. 4th. The bouncing baby boy weighed in at 7.5lbs to first time parents Kelly and her husband Tim Witherspoon.

And guess who was right by Kelly’s side to witness the little bundle of joy make his arrival into the world? Her “sisters” Beyonce and Solange, of course!

Today, Mrs. Carter (mommy to 2-year-old Blue Ivy) took to her Instagram and wrote a heartfelt message congratulating her friend/sister on entering motherhood and thanked God for her beautiful nephew. She wrote:
 

 

There's no better feeling than holding my beautiful nephew. I thank god for the honor of witnessing my sisters journey into motherhood. I've always dreamt of our little ones growing up together. I'm so thankful for our bond. Baby Ty, I love you so much. Congrats to my Spoons.

After re-introducing a new generation to Auto-Tune (shout out to the o.g. "Computer Love" Roger Troutman) T-Pain has ditched the tool to show the world that he can actually sing. And you may even like his voice.

On “Stoicville,” the title track from his upcoming fifth album Stoicville: The Phoenix, he sings about his friends, father, and how his life has changed since he became famous.

He told FADAR magazine,“I feel like people needed to know what I’ve been doing. A lot of people have been asking, and it’s kind of hard to put the story into just one answer. So ‘Stoicville’ is a quick tell-all—airing everything out and letting my past be the past and basically starting anew.”

And if the new track isn't enough, earlier this week, his label RCA released T-Pain’s Happy Hour: The Greatest Hits.
