There’s a rumor circulating that alleges the reason why Ray Rice and Janay Palmer were fighting. And Teyana Taylor's name is involved. Find out what she had to say about her involvement inside….

There are unconfirmed rumors swirling that allege Teyana Taylor is the reason why former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and his now wife Janay Palmer Rice got into a physical altercation that we all saw play out recently, resulting in him knocking his fiancée unconscious.

From what we gather, rapper Joe Budden took to his Twitter to insinuate that the “Maybe” singer was behind the explosive altercation between the NFL star and his wife. He tweeted (and deleted), "It may be hearsay, but if the beef between Ray Rice and his wife was over the woman that some are saying?!?! Then sh*t … smh."

A Twitter responded to Joe’s tweet that said, “naw..it’s true! They been f*ckin for a long time” He responded, “If ya’ll know who I’m referring to, then that sh*t is crazy to me.” Then the Twitter user tweeted, “but she can beef with Tae #NVM”

“Tae” would be referencing Tey’s former friend Tae Heckard. So that’s how Teyana’s name got in the mix. It’s alleged Ray received some racy text messages from Teyana which sparked their argument.

NOW…Tey (who is currently dating Knicks baller Iman Shumpert) is addressing the rumors and she claims she had NOTHING to do with that ordeal. She did confirm she and Ray were once good friends, saying her best friend use to date him, but they were never romantically involved. She hit up Philly’s Power 99 and told Mina SayWhat,

“No the reason why they were fighting was because they were fighting they both was dead ass wrong. Not because anybody received no text from me because I don’t have nothing to do with that.”

She added,

"This is a big matter. ESPN hasn’t said my name. No sports blogs have said my name but whole bunch of our people…you understand what I’m saying. Our people who want it to be true so bad but I can’t entertain those type of things. And what I’m not going to downplay is that me and Ray….we use to live in the same building. We all grew up together, he use to date my best friend.”

"Love And Hip Hop" star Tahiry Jose is speaking out following a brutal attack she suffered at the hands of an angry male production manager during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City. Get deets on the incident inside...

When TheYBF.com arrived at the Helen Mills Venue for the Angola International Fashion Show on Monday (featuring a collective of designers, including  Toure and Teyana Taylor) we knew something was very wrong...and it was. According to eyewitnesses and a source close TheYBF.com, "LAHH" star Tahiry Jose was viciously attacked by a male production manager at the venue, including hair pulling, punches thrown and countless vulgar words. We didn't want to bring you this story until we had the deets - and it's messy.

According to our tipster, production manager Carlos Gonzalez had it out for Tahiry from the beginning. Once Tahiry arrived at the venue, it is alleged that Carlos was extremely disrespectful and verbally abusive towards Tahiry and her team. But once Tahiry retaliated and responded back to Carlos - that's when the attack allegedly occurred. Our tipster says Carlos "blacked out" and,

"repeatedly struck Tahiry while trying to drag her hair. It took 7-8 men to pull him off her"

Tahiry, who was treated at Lenox Hill hospital, recently confirmed the attack via Instagram and included her disdain for "violence against women." She said,

Thank you ALL for your well wishes. I am both appreciative and grateful to have you on my team and call you #teamtahiry! I am sincerely touched by your outpouring of love.

As you may or may not know, on Monday, Sept. 8, I was attacked, assaulted and violated, while in the workplace, by a man. I was beaten because I am woman with a voice and refuse to be disrespected. It is more proof that the violence against women is real and needs to be addressed publicly. The shaming and disrespecting of women/victims of violent abuses must stop. Violence against women must stop; a women's voice and refusal to be disrespected is not grounds for physical abuse. #iamwoman #myvoicematters

More to the point, I am home, healing and surrounded by love.

In addition to Tahiry's response, the alleged attack also prompted a statement from designer Toure (shown above), who'd booked Tahiry to walk in his show. He added,

I would like to take the time to clear my company’s name, as this was not a Toure Designs show. We were part of the Angola International Fashion Show event. The incident didn’t take place backstage, it happened in front of the venue. The Production Manager of the venue Carlos Gonzalez, seemed to already be against this event happening before the altercation took place. I would like to apologize to my fans and celebrity attendees that came to support me for this unfortunate incident. This was something that was totally not in my control. We at Toure Designs do not support or condone violence of any type let alone against women. We wish a speedy recovery to Tahiry. “

Sigh......messy boots.  Fortunately, for the designers and their fans, the show went on without any further mishaps at a another venue.

Last night, the “We Are Here” singer surprised her hubby for his 36th birthday (which falls on Sept. 13th) with a swanky “Coming To America” soriée complete with African dancers, plush thrones and a royal court that included his mother, father and grandmother.

As the party kicked off, it was like a scene straight from the movie. Alicia walked over rose petals towards her “prince” as “She’s Your Queen To Be” was sung.

Rihanna dined out in New York City last night as the NFL/CBS Sports pulled her "Thursday Night Football" opening due to the Ray Rice domestic abuse scandal.  More inside...

Rihanna and her bestie Melissa Forde were seen heading into posh the NYC eatery "Nobu" last night.

The CFDA Fashion Icon stepped out in an unforgettable hot pink overcoat from Marc Jacobs which she paired with a short gold dress and black heels.

You'll recall that Rihanna teamed up with Don Cheadle to record the opening theme song for the NFL's "Thursday Night Football" games, but the ad was pulled at the last minute amid fallout from the suspension of former Ravens player Ray Rice.  

Apparently, the thought of a song by Rihanna (a victim of domestic abuse) kicking off a Ravens game (amid Ray's suspension) was too much for CBS to stomach.  CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManusreleased a statement saying,

"We thought journalistically and from a tone standpoint, we needed to have the appropriate tone coverage. A lot of the production elements we wanted in the show are being eliminated because of time or tone.” 

The musical opening was replaced by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell discussing his recent comments about the Ray Rice incident.

Lil Kim revealed why it took so long to release her Hardcore mixtape. Also, Nicki Minaj's offer to speak at her high school was declined!   Deets inside….

On the heels of her much delayed Hardcore 2k14 mixtape release, Lil Kim is finally revealing what took so long to release it. Originally, the mixtape was supposed to drop on Halloween of last year. But…it didn’t.  NOW…we know why. She got pregnant! In an interview with REVOLT she said,

“When this project was suppose to come out I had gotten pregnant. And I didn’t know…I was just moving and working and stuff. Once I became fully pregnant. I was working in the studio…at one point I couldn’t work anymore obviously. So we kinda held it off, we pushed it back. Now it’s ready to come out. Before this date, we did a couple of remixes and that really wasn’t the original plan but we wanted to feed the streets and make sure our fans knew that this was really happening.”

Kimmy gave birth to her baby girl (with boyfriend Mr. Papers) Royal Reign in New Jersey back in June. Now the new mother can’t get enough of her 3-month-old bundle of joy. When talking about motherhood she said,

“I think motherhood has made me a better person a better artist and I think motherhood has just made me not give a f—k,” she revealed. “Everything I do is for [Royal Reign]."

So has motherhood changed up her flow?

“I don’t feel the need to change up my style or change the things that I used to rap about,” she says. “I definitely have more to rap about.”
 

But speaking of her mixtape, even on the night that it was supposed to be released (9/11), it was delayed yet again. According to the Queen Bee...it didn't make its 9:11pm deadline because the "website crashed due to high capacity." She tweeted:

On playing a mentail-ill killer in "No Good Deed"

“The script is what the script is. I wanted to find out from people who create these situations, what’s missing in their lives. You and I may have a conscious stop button, and we know what we’re doing is wrong … but this guy doesn’t have that

“I wanted to research that psychosis to understand the people who are in jail for similar scenarios. My research involved looking into the mentality of someone like Colin, a troubled and anxious man on a mission. There are so many common denominators like their upbringing, neglected at child birth, abused as a child by their mum, dad or siblings, bullying, and they ended up having these similar personalities and didn’t have a conscience.

On being a dad:

“I love, love children. I love being a dad.  It’s one of the joys of life. In fact, you can take it all away from me tomorrow, but don’t take away my children.”

On raising a family:

“I just hope my children grow up saying my dad was my good friend and supporter … I was fair and just, helped them whenever they needed me to. And, that there was love. One thing I am very aware is that I love them and I love to embrace my children. My children know what it is to have a hug and a kiss, be cuddled and feel comfortable. My parents were not cuddlers or kissers, but I am,” he laughs.

On breathing exercise:

“I don’t pray. I don’t meditate. I do a lot of deep breathing whenever I get five or 10 minutes. It’s something great about oxygenating your body. It is a real good thing to do in moments of stress, weakness, tiredness … if you give yourself a little oxygen, fill your lungs to capacity and do it eight times, three to four times a day, it really helps. I am a multitasker. In my 24-hour day I am working 19. I get three to four hours of sleep, wake up and then I go again. I rejuvenate by drinking lots of water and doing my breathing exercises,”

On the next phase of his career-directing:

“I am shooting some videos for Jaguar. They have a new car [XE sport] coming out. My production company, Green Door Pictures, is developing social media content for them. That’s the direction I am going in: directing and producing. At GDP, we are developing three films, some TV shows and two documentaries.”

In a brand new interview with MTV, Chris Brown is offering up advice to former NFL star Ray Rice and speaking out on why he decided to bury the hatchet with Drake. More inside…

In the wake of all of the controversy surrounding former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice and the devastating punch we all witnessed to his now wife Janay Palmer Rice, someone who also experienced living out a domestic violence situation publicly is offering up some nuggets of advice.

Chris Brown (who assaulted his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 after the Grammys) is speaking out about how he dealt with his domestic violence situation and how to move forward. After ish hit the fan back in ’09, Chris had to deal with some of the same type of criticism Ray Rice is dealing with now. His actions resulted in him receiving probation and eventually jail time (after violating), but he seems to be working through his issues and is concentrating on becoming a better person now.

During a sitdown with Sway from MTV, Breezy put things into perspective, offering up sound advice on how to cope with the highly publicized domestic violence situation and what has helped him. He said,

“I think it’s all about the choices you do make. With me, I dealt with a lot of anger issues from my past. Not knowing how to express myself verbally and at the same time not knowing how to cope with my emotions and deal with them and understand what they were. So I just think help is great. I still talk to my therapist twice a week. For me, it helps me to actually be able to...if I’m frustrated, if I’m dealing with something…to vent…to say what I’m going through.”

He added,

“It’s all about the choices. Every situation is different but it’s all about the choices you make and how you control your anger. To Ray or anybody, I’m not better than the next man, so I can just say I been down that road. I dealt with situations and I made my mistakes too, but it’s all about how you push forward and how you control yourself.”

Chris Brown chopped it up with Sway about getting past his issues with YMCMB rapper Drake (which some say was because of Rihanna) and how he’s ready to grow up and put his childish ways behind him.

After a picture of CB and Drake in the studiowent viral and collaborating up with Drizzy at the ESPYS for a skit, fans were shocked to learn the two were getting along. We all saw the bottle-throwing brawl between Breezy and Drizzy’s crew in a NYC nightclub two years ago. But now, the two have hashed out their differences and are actually cool now.

When asked how he and Drake linked up to squash their beef, he said,

“I was just ready to bring light to the situation and grow up. You can’t walk around holding grudges, looking over your shoulder and being negative all the time. I’m tired of looking like the aggressor. So for me I just wanted to show my maturity.”

“If my album (X) wasn’t finished already it probably would have happened.” He added, “It has to be the right song.”

The City Of Lights was a bit brighter tonight as Nicki Minaj hit the stage to perform her verse from the"Flawless" (Remix) at Beyonce and Jay Z's "On The Run" tour.  It was the first time Bey and Nicki performed the song together and both ladies wore custom Versace pieces.   Nicki tweeted, "Walking to the stage. VERSACE suit and shoes. Thank you Donatella."

Nicki also proved that "positive thinking" works as she revealed that she literally "spoke" this performance into existence and God heard her.  She captioned a pic of their performance,

"Deluxe song on Pink FRIDAY called GirlsFallLikeDominoes - last line of the song I said: "IM OUT IN PARIS, mudafuka, WIT BEYONCE!" ~ coincidence? Or... Something else? What? God heard me?"

[Updated with more details] More bad news for NFL star Adrian Peterson. He was just indicted in Texas on child endangerment charges. More inside…

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been indicted by a grand jury in Montgomery County, Texas on charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child.

According to Texas news station FOX 26, Adrian was indicted Friday after an incident in May that resulted in his 4-year-old son being taken tot he doctor  with bruises all over his body.  The child was reportedly visiting Adrian at his home in Texas, and once the child was back in Minnesota with the mother, she took the child to the doctor upon discovering bodily injuries.  The authorities were then called.

ESPN spoke with the Montgomery County District Attorney's office and they confirmed he has not been arrested. The site also said the Montgomery County sheriff investigators received the case earlier this year and that Peterson has been cooperative with them.

As of 9p ET Friday a warrant was put out for Adrian's arrest with a $15,000 bond attached.

According to Reuters, Adrian's lawyer (and the police report) says the NFL star admits to using a "switch" for disciplinary action:

"The charged conduct involves using a switch to spank his son," Peterson's attorney, Rusty Hardin, said in a statement, adding the running back testified before a grand jury for "several hours" and was fully cooperating with authorities.

"Adrian is a loving father who used his judgment as a parent to discipline his son," Hardin said. "Adrian never intended to harm his son and deeply regrets the unintentional injury."

Hardin added that the discipline mirrored the treatment Peterson experienced growing up in east Texas.

...

The boy suffered cuts and bruises to areas including his back, buttocks, ankles and legs, the station reported.

TMZ further states:

According to the police report, the child told authorities he had also been hit by a belt and there were "a lot of belts in daddy's closet."

The child also said AP had put leaves in his mouth when he was being struck and that his pants were down.

The Vikings have now removed Adrian from Sunday's game roster.

Alleged photos of the child's injuries have been received by the media and can be viewed HERE.

This is all comes on the heels of Adrian losing a son who was being brutally attacked just last year. You’ll recall, Adrian's two-year-old son was killed by the mother's 27-year-old boyfriend Joseph Patterson (who had a previous domestic abuse record). Sad.

Fresh off killing New York Fashion Week, gorgeous gal Jourdan Dunn kicked off the first day of London Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Week Friday with two hot looks.   The Maybelline and runway model rocked a sexy one sleeved dress to the big Maybelline New York party at Tredwell's.

And chick is looking fabulous.

The hot mom paired the look with fur embellished a pair Sophia Webster ‘Ronnie’ pumps.  Speaking of her "mom" title, Jourdan recently spoke to VOGUE about dealing with her 4-year son Riley's sickle cell anemia diagnosis and becoming the ambassador for the Sickle Cell Disease Association.

In the back of my head I knew there was a possibility that my son would have sickle cell because his father and I are carriers of the genetic trait for it [a 50% chance of him having the trait and 25% chance of him having the disease, to be exact]. But once I got the results back that my son had sickle cell, it really hit me, like, this is real. It is a reality that my son is going to have to deal with this for the rest of his life. For a long time I blamed myself because I knew my child could have this disease. It was hard to deal with it but it was like, boom, this is my life.

...

I don’t want people to feel sorry for my son or me. I’m not ashamed about sickle cell anemia. I want to talk about it because there are a lot of the people in the industry who have sickle cell or have a family member who has it, but they don’t talk about it. Many others don’t know if they even carry the gene. I feel like people tend to think of it as a “black disease,” and that if they are Caucasian, it won’t affect them. But it’s not just those of African or Caribbean descent who are at risk; if you are Caucasian, you can also inherit it.

When the Sickle Cell Disease Association approached my agency and said, “We’d really like to have Jourdan as the ambassador,” I was immediately excited to spread more awareness of the disease and help raise funds, and do whatever I can to help out. It is a cause that is truly close to my heart.

Now THAT is model behavior.

In what seems to be yet another case of police prejudice and brutality, Django Unchained star Daniele Watts and her husband are speaking out about a wrongful arrest, where Studio City Police mistook the couple for a prostitute and her "trick".

Another day, another case of police foolery.  While its understandable that police departments would want to crack down on prostitution and illegal behavior in communities, it's simply unfortunate that racial prejudices can cloud an officer's take on "right" and "wrong".  And who actually is, in fact, actually engaging in criminal behavior.

Daniele Watts, who played "CoCo" in Django Unchained and currently stars as Martin Lawrence's daughter on the FX show "Partners", says she was wrongfully arrested on September 11th after being mistaken for a prostitute!

How is this possible?  She was dressed in "short shorts", a t-shirt and sneakers, which is the same outfit plenty of people wear to live out their day.  And she was spotted sharing a PDA moment with a white man -- HER HUSBAND.  The couple has also shared pics and video from the dramatic situation.

Daniele was handcuffed after refusing to show ID (which she says she was within her rights to not do, based on the law).  And both she and her husband are now telling the frightening & frustrating story of how they were accosted, forcefully handled, and the physically and emotional hurt.

The actress posted her whole story to her Facebook page saying:

Today I was handcuffed and detained by 2 police officers from the Studio City Police Department after refusing to agree that I had done something wrong by showing affection, fully clothed, in a public place.

When the officer arrived, I was standing on the sidewalk by a tree. I was talking to my father on my cell phone. I knew that I had done nothing wrong, that I wasn’t harming anyone, so I walked away.

A few minutes later, I was still talking to my dad when 2 different police officers accosted me and forced me into handcuffs.

As I was sitting in the back of the police car, I remembered the countless times my father came home frustrated or humiliated by the cops when he had done nothing wrong. I felt his shame, his anger, and my own feelings of frustration for existing in a world where I have allowed myself to believe that “authority figures” could control my BEING… my ability to BE!!!!!!!

I was sitting in that back of this cop car, filled with adrenaline, my wrist bleeding in pain, and it occurred to me, that even there, I STILL HAD POWER OVER MY OWN SPIRIT.

Those cops could not stop me from expressing myself. They could not stop the cathartic tears and rage from flowing out of me. They could not force me to feel bad about myself. Yes, they had control over my physical body, but not my emotions. My feelings. My spirit was, and still is FREE.

I will continue to look any “authority figure” in the eye without fear. NO POLICE OFFICER OR GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL IS MORE POWERFUL THAN ME. WE ARE EQUALS. I KNOW THAT I WILL ALWAYS BE FREE BECAUSE THAT IS THE NATURE OF MY SPIRIT.

And moreover, I deeply enjoyed connecting with the cops who detained me. I allowed myself to be honest about my anger, frustration, and rage as tears flowed from my eyes. The tears I cry for a country that calls itself "the land of the free and the home of the brave" and yet detains people for claiming that very right.

Today I exist with courage, knowing that I am blessed to have experienced what I did today. All of those feelings, no matter how uncomfortable. These feelings are what builds my internal strength, my ability to grow through WHATEVER may happen to me.

That internal knowing is what guides me in this world. Not the law, not fear, not mistrust of government or cops or anything else.

In this moment there is a still small voice whispering to me. It says: You are love. You are free. You are pure.

Her husband, Chef Brian James Lucas, has an equally powerful account of what occurred:

Today, Daniele Watts & I were accosted by police officers after showing our affection publicly.

From the questions that he asked me as D was already on her phone with her dad, I could tell that whoever called on us (including the officers), saw a tatted RAWKer white boy and a hot bootie shorted black girl and thought we were a HO (prostitute) & a TRICK (client).
This is something that happened to her and her father when she was 16. What an assumption to make!!!

Because of my past experience with the law, I gave him my ID knowing we did nothing wrong and when they asked D for hers, she refused to give it because they had no right to do so.

So they handcuffed her and threw her roughly into the back of the cop car until they could figure out who she was. In the process of handcuffing her, they cut her wrist, which was truly NOT COOL!!!

Our freedom isn't freedom folks, when people can abuse others with no reason or evidence at all just because they "think" they have been given the power by people that are ONLY equal to us.

Of course, they had to let her go eventually cuz we weren't a threat to anyone.

They weren't expecting D to be so intelligent and outspoken, and left truly feeling the fear vibration finding out that they had just fucked with 2 celebrities (Celebrated People).

WE ALL HAVE THE SAME POWER INDIVIDUALLY IN THIS WORLD, AND I'M GLAD WE'RE ALL TAKING IT BACK ONE BEING AT A TIME!

As for the exact reason for the arrest, Brian says:

The Studio City police dept handcuffed (and injured her wrist while handcuffing) and detained #DanieleWatts because she refused to give ID with no probable cause, just because we were displaying public affection. NOT COOL AT ALL!!!!

But why were they approached or accosted in the first place?  The couple seems to believe it's because of their interracial interaction on the street, which led cops to incorrectly assume a prostitution situation was occurring.

Brian says the couple is in contact with three lawyers, the ACLU, and the NAACP.

"Blood, Sweat & Heels" star Geneva Thomas is in a sticky situation involving a New York Taxi driver.  But she tells TheYBF.com it's the driver's fault that SHE was arrested after being wrongfully accused of dodging her cab fare.  Get her side inside...

A quick trip to Brooklyn (from her nearby downtown Manhattan home) for Bravo reality star Geneva Thomas turned into a super long night...and an arrest.  Despite previous reports stating she simply dodged a cab fare, Geneva tells us the driver refused to accept their agreed upon fare and she only exited the cab to call the police after feeling "verbally assaulted" and "unsafe".

According to Geneva, while on a trip to Brooklyn last week, a cabbie took the out-of-the way Manhattan Bridge instead of the nearby Brooklyn Bridge, which resulted in a much higher fare. 

The reality star says the many times she has taken this same trip to Brooklyn, the trip is $10 in full.  This time, the fare had already crept to $14.50 before even entering Brooklyn.  When she questioned the driver about his seemingly sneaky tactic (which NY cab drivers have been known to perform), Geneva says the driver stopped, verbally assaulted her and tried to kick her out in the middle of a busy street -- which is completely illegal in Manhattan.

After she flagged down a traffic cop to inform him of the situation, Geneva says the driver hesitantly continued on to the destination, but not before agreeing to honor only the $14.50 fare as the total fare (pictured below). 

When the driver decided to not turn off the meter, and it ran up to over $25, he became hostile when Geneva refused to pay it...and also when she said she would not pay in cash.

Via her publicist, Geneva tells TheYBF.com that her wrongful arrest stemmed from an unfair cab fare:

On September 9, 2014, Geneva S. Thomas was involved in a dispute with a New York Yellow Taxi Cab Driver. Upon entering the vehicle, Geneva informed the driver of her desire to pay via credit card for services rendered and that she did not have cash. The driver became threatening and hostile following a line of question as he attempted to deviate from the planned route as a method to unfairly increase the fare. The driver became defensive and tried to force Geneva out of the vehicle in a highly trafficked area. Geneva placed two calls to 911 to diffuse the disagreement—once while she was in the cab and secondly upon arrival at her final destination. Geneva values the time and services of others, and was fully prepared to pay the agreed rate of $15.00. Geneva, along with bystanders on the scene, offered to pay, and the cops refused to allow anyone to do so. The New York Police Department proceeded with an immediate arrest without investigation. In this unfortunate situation, the New York Police Department’s unjust actions demonstrate an ongoing and well-documented pattern of behavior. The cab driver himself stated the arrest was unnecessary. Geneva finds these charges to be frivolous and unwarranted, and looks forward to proving her innocence. Geneva and her team will take action to create awareness ensuring this never happens to another woman in New York City ever again.

Geneva also tells us that the story reported earlier by another source, saying "police tracked her down" over an "$18 cab fare", is incorrect.  She called the police herself.

The rumor mill is turning once again with rumors of The Carters getting ready to welcome baby #2.  Check out the alleged proof...and decide if you believe it all inside...

An unfounded rumor, saying that Jay Z announced" that Beyonce was pregnant during Friday night's On The Run tour stop in Paris, was picked up across the net.  However, no proof has surfaced of any "announcement". 

But several pics from Friday and Saturday's shows have folks raising an eyebrow.  The pics above show Beyonce in a new outfit that she ore during her "Partition" performance.  While all of her outfits give an illusion of her usual super flat tummy from the front, those side views appear to be pretty telling....

Speaking of her "Partition" performance, interestingly, she removed all the acrobatic moves from the segment.  There was no silhouette dance on top of a curved structure as usual, no poles, no dancers, and there was much less dancing involved.

Some say there were several technical difficulties taking place--including her sound and other things.  Others believe this is a sign of a baby being in the oven.  Check the video below:

But not so fast. Saturday night, Beyonce had her straddle structure:

Last night's Floyd Mayweather Vs Marcos Maidana Fight was star studded as expected.  And we've got who was sitting ringside to catch Money Mayweather nab his 47th win.  Pics and deets inside...

While his entrance was much more subtle this time around--entering with only his close team and bodyguards, no Bieber or the like--it didn't stop Floyd Mayweather from walking away with another belt, another championship (a 116-111 win), and a guaranteed $32 million.

Oh, and a bitten hand, allegedly.  During round 8, Floyd went off accusing oppnent Marcos Maidana of biting his hand...through the glove.  Marcos denied it and the ref carried on:

That's another #1 for birthday girl and Executive Producer Taraji!  The 44-year-old hottie fought, bashed, and shot her way to the top of the box office with the sexiness that is Idris Elba.

The movie grossed about $24 million, according to Deadline, while it was produced on a $13.8 million budget.  So that makes Executive Producer Will Packer a winner once again.  Will, Taraji and the cast of Think Like A Man Too nabbed #1 this summer, while Will's other movie About Last Night also went to number 1.  So that makes three #1 films in 2014 for the Executive Producer...and that's a big damn deal.

I got the script first. I met Will Packer. He brought this script to me the first year me and Terrance Howard hosted the Soul Train Awards – 5 to 7 years ago. Will was just up and coming. He had just done 'Stomp The Yard' so he brings me this script and I had kind of heard about him and I read the script and I was like, 'When can we go! When can we go!'

And years later how she begged Idris to take the male lead:

Initially when I got the script and we decided it was going to be two black leads we had Idris locked, but then time went on and then he booked Mandela.

I understand as an actor that’s a dream role but, ‘Dude….You do realize you PROMISED you were going to do this movie? I have a son about to go to college! I put this money aside so…I’m gone need you to get it together. I’m a single mother.'

It was the best performance ever. One phone call….and he was there!
