Usher is opening up on the aftermath of his highly publicized divorce from Tameka Raymond. Since divorcing in 2009, Usher hasn't revealed much about his split with his ex-wife Tameka Raymond (not counting his sitdown with Oprah). But we all saw thelong, nasty custody battlebetween Usher and Tameka over their sons Usher V (6) and Naviyd (5). That whole fiasco had them making headlines left and right. But now that it’s all over, it seems at least one of them got something good out of the ordeal.

While his ex-wife works through her own issues on VH1’s “Atlanta Exes,” the “Good Kisser” singer gets a little candid on the “best” mistake he’s made thus far. In the September 2014 issue of O magazine (where Lady O rocks a sexy black catsuit for the cover), the proud father-of-two dished on how his divorce has made him a better person.

He told the magazine,
 

"Most people probably think I regret it because I ended up getting divorced, but it helped me learn that sometimes I think I know more than I actually do.”

Well, good for him. He’s now dating his manager turned girlfriend Grace Miguel and they seem to be happy…at least for now. Maybe the 2nd time will be the charm.

French Montana tapped his girl Khloe Kardashian for the cover art of his new single “Don’t Panic.” We showed you the behind-the-scenes pics of French and KoKo toting automatic weapons for the visuals. And now, the two have channeled Kanye West and Beyonce with their black ski masks for the “Bonnie & Clyde”-esque cover art.

On the DJ Mustard-produced track, the self-proclaimed Coke Boy spits about stealing his girl from another lover ... and how she fell in love with a hustler. Hmm…sound familiar?

He raps,

“Shawty fell in love with a hustla/ Man I took her from a busta/ N*ggas keep talkin’ like they know something/ I slide on your b*tch like she on something/ Don’t panic, don’t panic.”
 

If this is what men are saying to their girlfriends…we’ll pass.

There has been some chatter that the two may have possibly called it quits, so it’s likely the cover was shot before then…if true. Either way you look at it…these two just seem…odd.

In the black and white pic, North wears diamond earrings and sports a Chanel bag for a gorgeous photo that dubs her "The Future."

The "historic" moment (at least we assume that's what Kanye calls it) is capped off by a quote from fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, “It’s never too early to care about fashion!”

Ciara is pissed!  She says she never gave that new interview that's circulating around about life after Future.  But she's not denying the split itself.  Deets inside...

While reports state Ciara has no future with Future, CiCi seems a bit pissy about an interview Us Weekly claims she did with them.  Before Ciara posted the above and below pics of herself back to work in a flattering Valentino dress, a new interview posted by Us Weekly hit the net, claiming to be with Ciara herself.  Their story last night went like this:

As Us Weekly exclusively revealed earlier today, Ciara has called it quits with Future — her fiance and father to her newborn son Future Zahir Wilburn — after learning of his infidelity. Before the news broke, the "I'm Out" singer spoke with Us on Tuesday, Aug. 12, about how her life has changed since welcoming her baby.

"I'm in a much more clairvoyant place in my life," Ciara, 28, told Us of motherhood. "So, I want to express that through my music." The singer, who will appear on MTV's House of Style for Degree Women, further mused.

"I'm in an even more expressive place," she said. "I think that when you become a mom… you don't really worry about the small stuff. I'm just way more centered. It makes you focus even more on what your goals are in life. And I just feel a whole new spiritual energy that's happening."

But it's the title of the story, "Ciara Talks About Motherhood and Life After Future Split: I'm Focused, "Very Happy"", that likely caused confusion.  She wasn't exactly speaking on life after the couple's alleged split.  She was talking about life after giving birth....but Us Weekly, like most tabloids do, added their extra context to sell a few more issues.

The "Promise" singer took to her Twitter account to blast the publication saying:

A few weeks ago we told you about Angela Burt-Murray, Denene Millner and Mitzi Miller turing their book "The Vow" into a LIFETIME film called With This Ring. The movie (being filmed in Cleveland, OH) is directed by Nzingha Stewart ("The Game") and Tracey Edmonds serves as executive producer.

Gabrielle Union also joins both Tracey and Sheila Ducksworth as executive producer.  The "Being Mary Jane" actress showed up on set to support Nzinghasaying:

"With my ace and producing partner @nzingbling (and masterful director) in Cleveland on our first movie #WithThisRing ... So happy to be part of the solution and employing so many great actors... Brooklyn Sudano (Donna Summer's daughter), shown above with Tracey Edmonds' fiance Deion Sanders, was cast in the lead role for the film. She'll play Elise, the bride-to-be, who relies on her best friends (Eve, Regina Hall, Jill Scott) to get her down the aisle.

"Being Mary Jane" star Stephen C. Bishop (shown above with Nzingha) is set to play Dr. Sean Braswell, a successful plastic surgeon who is also the father to Viviane’s (Jill Scott) 8-year-old son, Cory.

In new music videos......

Last night, a video ‘A Place With No Name,’ the official 2nd single off Michael Jackson's posthumous album ‘Xscape’ appeared on social media.  The visual was directed by Samuel Bayer alongside Travis Payne, a long-time adviser/choreographer to MJ, who also served as the casting director, choreographer, and creative director. 

Building off clips from MJ's "In The Closet" video shoot, the new video also stars dancers Alvester Martin (who worked with MJ for ten years) and Danielle Acoff who both filmed new footage and dance sequences. 

Alvester, who's releasing his debut album entitled ‘Love Me or Leave Me,’ in the late Fall/early Winter of 2014 said, “I grew up watching Michael, I started dancing because of Michael, and as an Artist he remains the ultimate bar. I’m so privileged to be able to conclude my dance career by honoring his memory in this way.”

Seems "RHOA" cast mate Phaedra Parks is keeping busy in the midst of her husband’s (or soon to ex) legal troubles. She posed it up alongside Kandi-Burruss Tucker before getting the party started.

Demetria and Da Brat were the stars of the night hitting the carpet in their shades and side boob.

Rihanna is currently making tour stops on the three-city “Monster” tour with Eminem. But in between performances and slaying magazine covers, the “Diamonds” singer has been steadily working on new music.

We’ve spotted her arriving and leaving studios in L.A. and NYC. And now, we have a few nuggets on her upcoming eighth studio album.

A biopic chronicling the life of ballet dancer Misty Copeland and Bad Boys III will be hitting a theater near you soon. Plus, Def Jam as announced the acts who wil perform for their 30th anniversary concert. More inside…

This year has surely been one of many biopics, including the Aaliyah, Whitney Houston and N.W.A. projects. And now, a new biopic is in the works for American Ballet Theatre soloist Misty Copeland.

New Line Cinemas has signed on to share the inspirational story of the extraordinary ballet dancer. After many disheartening rejection letters and being told she could never become a professional ballet dancer due to her age, she has accomplished some remarkable things.

She became the second African-American female soloist (and first African-American female soloist in two decades) to dance with the prestigious American Ballet Theatre. The Under Armor spokeswoman has also performed with Prince, serves on President Obama’s fitness council and has appeared as a guest judge on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance.

The film will be based on the fab chick’s bestselling memoir "Life In Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina." Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot from Offspring Entertainment and Phil Sandaus have been tapped to produce the feature film.

According to Deadline,

In what’s shaping up to be The Blind Side set in the dance world, the film will chronicle Copeland’s striking rise to dance stardom. The late bloomer began training in ballet at age 13 while living in a welfare motel with her mother and siblings, learning so quickly she was dancing en pointe within months. She went from lessons at the local Boys & Girls Club to living part-time with a sponsor family while attending dance school. But as her ballet career escalated, so did a bitter custody battle between her mother and her host family.

Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that this biopic will see the light of day…sans the controversy.

So what’s next for the YBF ballerina? She will be making history yet again as the first African-American ballerina to dance lead in ABT’s Swan Lake next month. Work!

And in another new movie...

If you were a fan of the first Bad Boy, starring Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, and the sequel…get excited! Bad Boys III is confirmed to be in the works.

During an interview on the late-night talk show CONAN, “Bad Boys” actor Martin Lawrence confirmed the action comedy film trilogy is on the way.

When asked about the film, the “Partners” star said,

"I believe so. Yes. I just talked to Jerry Bruckheimer yesterday and he said its real, they're working on the script, they're getting close and it all looks good."
 

Martin hinted about the upcoming film via his Facebook page back in July posting,

No word yet on if Will Smith will star in the film.  But he must!

Earlier today, President Obama made his first public remarks about the killing of Michael Brown and the protests in Ferguson, MO.  Watch the POTUS' comments inside and see new interviews from eyewitnesses.

Above, RHOA star Phaedra Parks was seen offering to Desuirea Harris, the grandmother of Michael Brown, during a news conference held earlier this week.  And the lawyer spoke on her social media saying:

Although, we come from different places & backgrounds, we are very much alike-We are both black women & mothers who deeply love our sons. Today, President Obama addressed the nation for the first time (on television) regarding the shooting death of Michael Brown and the protests in Ferguson, MO.  This is following his statement on Tuesday. 

The cops and authorities in Ferguson have been dressed in riot gear, military gear, are rolling around in tanks, and have weapons that are typically used for war. Yet, the citizens are reportedly unarmed. As tensions have escalated with the unnecessary detainment of several reporters, the arrest of at least 65 protesters, police being accused of excessive force (including rubber bullets, tear gas), and media outlets shutdown (#mediablackout), POTUS had much ground to cover. He said,

“I know that many Americans have been deeply disturbed by the images that we’ve seen in the heartland of our country.

“I made clear to the Attorney General that we should do what is necessary to help determine exactly what happened and to see that justice is done,”

“When something like this happens, the local authorities, including the police, have a responsibility to be open and transparent about how they are investigating that death and how they are protecting the people in their communities.

There is never an excuse for violence against police or for those who would use this tragedy as a cover for vandalism or looting. There’s also no excuse for police to use excessive force against peaceful protests or to throw protesters in jail for lawfully exercising their First Amendment rights.”

 

Also, more eyewitnesses came forward to share their stories about Michael's last moments.

Interestingly, it took police several days to contact key witness Dorian Johnson.  It is unknown if they have spoken to the two new witnesses.

In case you were wondering, the Ferguson Police Dept still refuses to release the name of the officer who shot and killed Michael.  On Tuesday, Cornell William Brooks, national president the NAACP, said, “It seems to me that the most important thing here is to let the facts come out as quickly as possible, sending a signal to the community that the investigation is proceeding and that the investigation will in fact be transparent. I don’t believe, where the name will be known at some point, delaying that for any undue period of time helps the situation.”

For now, Ferguson Police Department Chief Thomas Jackson refuses to release the name of the officer because of potential harm to the officer and his family.  But that hasn't stopped names from coming out.  However, the police claim both names are incorrect.  DETAILS HERE.

Tonight, all around the country, candlelight vigils and peaceful protests are being held in Michael Brown's honor, and in honor of all unarmed victims slain by police. 

I believe these cops are intentionally trying to inflame the situation. They want an excuse.

He and his wife are not yet officially divorced. But it seems Columbus Short has already moved on to something new. Check out the pics of him and his new boo inside...

We've noticed that ex-"Scandal" star Columbus Short has been boo'd up with a new chick ever since he and his wife separated.  And he's even gotten close to her daughter (he also has his own daughter with his ex-wife). While he and Mrs. Tanee McCall-Short end their tumultuous marriage--for the third time--it seems Columbus has booked it to Atlanta after the April divorce filing.  He's there to "work on his music"...and he has a new chick to there to keep him busy. 

Her name is Frances Noriega-Aleman, and Columbus is not shy about posting plenty of pics with her (and of her).  He's been calling her "the one" and "my little cheetah" while she's been posting her own pics and VINE videos with Columbus, calling him "my best friend forever."

As for how Frances--who seems to have done some booty model work in the recent past--describes herself, she says:

Earlier this week at singer Kris Kelli's listening party at Stir It Up Atlanta, Columbus and his girl Frances were boo'd up (above) hitting the hookah.  And throwing back the drinks, so we hear.

Chris Brown is continuing his comeback.  He dropped his brand new music video for "New Flame", and announced a joint tour with Trey Songz.  Deets inside...

The song that was originally released as a promo track (featuring only Rick Ross), has now become the fifth official single for Chris Brown's upcoming X album (9/16).  For the new "New Flame" single, Breezy added Usher to the track after the 2014 BET Awards.   And now he's dropped the video.

Chris and the bikini-laden chicks are dressed in all white with gold chains and accessories in the vid.  And Usher and a shirtless Rick Ross make their expected cameos.  Check it above.

Fans of Braxton Family Values watched Towanda Braxton reach her breaking point last night.  See the emotionally charged clip inside and check out Towanda, Trina and Traci throwing shade at SWV.

Last night, season 4 of BFV kicked off with a HEATED argument--that turned physical--between Tamar and Towanda.  At (32:41), you'll see the glass-shattering scene where Towanda has an emotional breakdown.  During an interview with ABC NEWS RADIO, Towanda explained both the breakdown and fight with Tamar.

On Tamar:  “I detested the fact that everybody thought, or everybody was feeling that Towanda was jealous of Tamar. I’m like ‘how dare you think that someone who actually volunteered to carry your child to be jealous?’ That’s ridiculous to me. And whenever Tamar needed, and whenever Tamar wanted me to be there, I was there. That whole thing stemmed from one of Tamar’s Tamartians telling Towanda that she hopes her kids get raped and killed [on Twitter]. Do you understand what I’m saying? So of course there’s a certain retaliation that wells up in you when you talk about somebody’s children.”

On her breakdown:“I couldn’t be emotional. I couldn’t let everybody know how I was really feeling because as soon as I do there’s always a [back]lash. So I suppressed every time,” the mother of two explains. “I think there was only one other time — maybe not that big — I had lashed out and that’s, like Trina said, that’s when someone talked about my children. But when we were sitting together as a family I just felt that I wasn’t being heard, and it was a long time coming.” 

After watching lastnight's episode, we're still trying to figure why Towanda is REALLY mad though.  It is something deep rooted and SERIOUS chile.

On behalf of the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, Jennifer and Julia handed out school supplies for students at the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Chicago. The annual celebration was held in honor of Julia’s son and Jennifer’s nephew Julian who was slain by his estranged step-father.  And the event is held on Julian's birthday each year.

Students, ranging in grades K-12, and their parents began lining up as early as 3AM to take part in the back-to-school celebration. They were welcomed to tables piled high with supplies for the upcoming school year, picking exactly what they needed from their list and stuffing gifted back packs.

Jennifer spoke about the event that she holds close to her heart saying,

“Our goal each year is very simple,” said Jennifer Hudson. “We want these kids to know we are here for them and paying attention to their needs. If one child walks away with that feeling, then we’ve been successful. Chicago needs positive support more than ever and we hope that by doing this, we can encourage the next generation to keep on in that direction.”

Jennifer’s sister Julia also talked about the event in honor of her late son,

“Going to school has never been more expensive.  We want our community’s children to have everything they need in order to start the school year out right and that’s what we aim to do every year we host Hatch Day in Julian’s honor,” she added.

Loves it! Here’s to a successful year for those kiddies!

And over in Atlanta….

Last night at the Pink Power Awards Gala in Atlanta, Towanda Braxton, Tameka Raymond and Dr. Heavenly Kimes hit the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. The event was a celebration of women who have exhibited power, confidence, success and the ability to conquer adversity.

“BFV” star Towanda Braxton was tapped to emcee the event. Before getting to her hosting gig, she posed it up with gifts from MYX Fusions Moscato.

“Atlanta Exes” star Tameka Raymond, representing her Kiles World Foundation created in honor of her late son Kile Glover, said a few words during the event.

“Married to Medicine” star and founder of Heavenly Dental Associates, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, came out to celebrate the honorees.

The conference will continue today at Philips Arena with seminars by top industry experts that will focus on core areas such as personal branding, equal rights, wellness, entrepreneurship and more.

After a very messy and public break-up, formerlyengaged couple Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy was spotted leaving lunch together in Beverly Hills yesterday. But as soon as the paparazzi cameras got on their stalker ish...the two made a quick exit via separate cars. Deets and video inside....

Are they reuniting?  Or is Michael just trimming & tying up split ends (see what we did there?) during his vacation time?  Mike is back in L.A. where his home, his twin daughters, and alleged ex-fiance Nicole Murphy are.  And interestingly, the twosome was caught yesterday afternoon leaving South Beverly Grill, arm-in-arm.

One would think that means they had some type of reconciliation meal.  But...maybe not.  Especially because they arrived and left in two separate cars.  Maybe they're just taking it slow to explore some options....

But what we do know is, Mike was not feeling the barrage of questions by the cameraman.  But Nicole did end up saying one thing--that Michael is always a total gentleman.

Last night, photographers spotted Rihanna heading to a party at the exclusive Bowery Hotel in NYC.

RiRi's got a weekend performance at the MetLife Stadium as a part of her joint tour with Eminem. Following the NYC show, they'll head to Detroit, Michigan, where the tour will come to a close on August 22nd and 23rd at Comerica Park.

On her way into the venue, she took a quick snapshot with a fan.

The bad girl stepped out in black heels and a black side split dress with white trim that only she can pull off.  Work.

YBF celebs are using their platforms to stand in solidarity over the shooting death of Michael Brown. Find out how they’re showing their support inside…

On the heels of social unrest surrounding the deadly force used against unarmed teen Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, YBF celebs are speaking up and showing their support.

Rapper J. Cole penned a somber tribute in memory of Michael Brown. The track includes audio from Michael’s friend Dorian Johnson who recounts what went down as he witnessed the officer gun his friend down in the street.

He writes, "Rest in Peace to Michael Brown and to every young black man murdered in America, whether by the hands of white or black," Cole wrote. "I pray that one day the world will be filled with peace and rid of injustice. Only then will we all Be Free - Cole."

St. Louis native Kimora Lee Simmons has stepped up and offered to pay for Michael’s funeral expenses.

She posted, "Reached out 2 #MikeBrown's family over weekend + offered 2 pay 4 funeral. Im frm #STL. I'll do anything 2 help. #HandsUp"

Another St. Louis resident Nelly was in his hometown yesterday. He spent three hours talking to Hot 104.1 radio personalities and spoke with fans directly about the shooting death of Michael Brown.

People have been protesting all over the world, holding their hands in the air, chanting,“Hands Up, Don’t Shoot!”

On Wednesday, Wiz Khalifa made a stop in St. Louis for his “Under The Influence” tour. During his set, he changed into a white tee with the wording, “Don’t Shoot” on the front and "#RIPMIKEBROWN" on the back.

Before taking the stage, Young Jeezy showed his support by visiting a QuikTrip convenience store in Ferguson, Mo that was burned down during a looting spree on Sunday.

He posted the pic above with the caption, “I had to see it for myself!! The answer is not tearing down our own neighborhoods and communities, the answer is goin to the source of the problem in numbers. So many numbers that they know they don't have a chance. We want justice not chaos!! #ferguson #st.louis #saveourchildren #justiceformichaelbrown”

Meanwhile, Michael Brown, Sr. called in to a St. Louis radio station to call for peace....and Cedric The Entertainer spoke about what is going on around his hometown:

In latest updates on the Michael Brown case, there are reports that the teen was involved in alleged "strong-arm robbery" before his death. The video footage of what authorities believe is Michael stealing mini-cigars (cigarillos) from a conveince store was released earlier today, coincidentally along with the name of the officer who gunned him down, Dennis Wilson. Some believe the person in the video is not Michael. Some believe that after viewing the video, it’s arguably a shoplifting offense at best. 

Political strategist Sophia Nelson breaks down the difference between a robbery and shoplifting:

#Robbery is a felony. Robbery implies a gun was used. Shoplifting is a misdemeanor & they took cigars. Wrong. But shot for it? #Ferguson

Ferguson, Mo., Police Chief Thomas Jackson held another news conference and offered a few addition details in the investigation.

But mainly, it's believed the video does not matter to this case regardless.  Because Officer Wilson, according to the Police Chief, and his encounter with Michael Brown was not linked to the alleged robbery.

CNN reports:

"The initial contact between" Michael Brown and the police officer who fatally shot him was not related to the alleged convenience store robbery committed nearby a short time earlier.

The officer approached Brown not because of the robbery, but "because they were walking down the middle of the street blocking traffic," Jackson said.

In a not so shocking confession, French Montana admitted that he’s going to capitalize on his newfound fame thanks to his (ex?) girl Khloe Kardashian. Also, Keke Palmer plans to visit Ferguson, Missouri and responds to the social media backlash she received after voicing her opinion about the hot topic. Deets inside…

This comes as no surprise. In a recent interview, French Montana admits he plans on capitalizing on the newfound fame he has received since he started “dating” Khloe Kardashian. As if we didn’t already have a clue.

During an interview with Billboard, French spoke on how he plans to make the most of his relationship with the Kardashian click. There has been some unconfirmed rumors circulating that the two have called it quits. So it's likely the interview could have been conducted before the alleged split...if true. He told the magazine,

"I want to capitalize on it," says Montana. "I’ll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I’ll be able to connect with everything that’s going on."

Makes sense. He has an album, Mac & Cheese 4 (dropping in November), to promote. And since his debut album, Excuse My French, didn’t do that great, what better way to let the masses know what he has cooking up in the studio than dating a chick from one of the most media hungry families.

French also dished on some advice Jay Z offered to him about making music. He revealed,

"Jay Z told me he once made that same mistake too. Your first album you never know what’s going on with the business and labels. The second one you’re like, ‘F— this.’ You get the ball in your own court."
 

Well alright.

And in another interview...

BET talk show host Keke Palmer (posing it up above during a photoshoot) unleashed a series of videos on her Instagram, voicing her opinions on the shooting death of Mike Brown and the protests that followed. Soon after, followers bashed the young starlet over her comments, calling her naïve and that she doesn’t really know what it’s really like to be an average African-American living in America.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, the “Just Keke” host responded to the social media backlash saying,

“Being naïve is never anything to be ashamed of, because I believe me being naïve is what has allowed me to do all the things that I can because if I believe in and quote what’s realistic then I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing right now. I simply wouldn’t be ‘Cinderella’ on Broadway, I wouldn’t have ‘Just KeKe.’”

She added,

“As far as what’s going on with Mike Brown, I spoke up on that, because unproductive outrage has never gotten us anywhere,” she continued. “Even with MLK and everything that he did for black people...all he spoke about was unity, because throwing hate and being angry, and violence, that doesn’t give us peace and equality. That’s like having sex in order to get your virginity. It’s just the complete opposite thing to do.”

The YBF actress (who is gearing up to star as the first African-American Cinderella on Broadway) also talked about her plans on making a trip to Ferguson, Missouri and

“I’m very excited to see what can be done and if I can really get involved, and how we can unite one another,” she said during the interview. “That’s what I always believe is the way to go. Uniting us all. Not just black people, but everybody that’s coming to talk the same message. It’s unfortunate when things like this happen, but hopefully it can wake people’s eyes up and let them know that we need to unite as a people.”

How cute are Mr. & Mrs. James?!  LeBron and a very pregnant Savannah are vacaying in Greece right now.  And all the love in the air possibly made the Cleveland Cavs baller tell the world his new daughter's name.  Pics and deets inside...

Talk about a nice push gift to thank his wife for giving their family a new child!  Mr. Ohio and the gorgeous Savannah were spotted heading out in a small boat yesterday in Mykonos, Greece.  And while 'Vannah's baby bump was on full display underneath her blue coverup, Bron took the opportunity to share the possible name of their baby girl who's on the way.  He posted:

Mykonos Greece is spectacular! Push gift to my wife @mrs_savannahrj! Zhuri hurry up and get here so your daddy and 2 brothers can annoy you! Lol.

Awww.  Zhuri James it is!  So it seems....

LeBron is looking extra slim and trim thanks to his no-cheats-allowed diet he's been on to keep fit in the off season.  He kept it cool in a graphic tee and shorts, while Savannah rocked a cute hat and summery cover-up/dress.  Loving those shades too.

Meanwhile, the 2014-2015 NBA schedule came out this week.  And it looks like Bron and his Cavs are taking their talents back to South Beach...to face Dwyane Wade and his Heat on Christmas Day.  Here we go....
