Planned Parenthood celebrity ambassador Tasha Smith sat down with BET to speak on a few touchy topics such as plastic surgery, abortions and homophobia in the church.

For years, there has been criticism surrounding Planned Parenthood providing abortions for women.  Tasha (who doesn’t believe in abortions) believes Planned Parenthood is a great organization for women who don’t have access to health care and wants people to understand that they’re MORE than just an abortion clinic.

“Abortion is not what I believe in. I believe in prevention…and that’s something else that Planned Parenthood preaches and empowers women to prevent unwanted pregnancies although each woman has a right to choose.”

The "For Better Or Worse" actress also talked about plastic surgery, admitting she has had liposuction but will wait until she’s older before she thinks about doing anything to her face.

“Some of these women are really messing up their faces. It’s like come on, do you have to do that at 30? At least wait until you’re 50 or 60. I mean one day I might get a little botox but right now a little makeup and concealer will do the job. I mean liposuction, I’ve had it…and I’ll get it again if I wanted to. Some of these women are so caught up with that, that they’re messing up their faces.”

She ended the interview talking about a young man who had to be admitted to the hospital and none of his family members were there for support. He hadn’t talked to his family in 10 years after revealing to them that he was gay.

“Personally I think that is so wrong. Any Christian who does that to their child, they need to have another ‘come to Jesus’ meeting.”

Word on the curb is that "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd is splitting from her husband of three years, Lamar Sally.  But she stayed mum about the reports today.  Deets inside...

A new report from Page Six says Sherri Shepherd is on the road to splitsville with husband Sal.  After three years, Sherri is reportedly telling friends they are separating.

The comedian, actress and host of “The View” is telling friends that her three-year marriage to TV writer Sally is in trouble and they are separating. Reps for Shepherd, as well as her manager Darris Hatch, did not comment last night despite numerous requests from Page Six.

Sherri welcomed the world into her courtship and wedding with Sal through the stories she told on "The View" from the time they met...and her wedding special that aired on the Style Network in September 2011.

We hope all is well with these two (especially for her son Jeffery), but Sherri surely stayed extra mum about the reports during today's episode of "The View".  Even with Pastor Rick Warren and his wife on the stage today talking about people being too quick to give up on marriage.

The-Dream was spotted leaving court yesterday where he told photographers he didn't assault his baby mama.  See the tape inside and watch Pharrell on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

After surrendering to police, producer The-Dream (shown above in court and a hatless rare occasion) was charged with assault last night for a 2-year-old incident at NYC's Plaza Hotel where cops claim he punched and choked his eight-months pregnant baby momma Lydia Nam.

Terius Nash (real name) walked out of a Manhattan courthouse last night, after posting $20K bail, where he told photographers that he did not hit Lydia. While being peppered with questions he said,“I have nothing to say. It’ll all come out. There are worse things in the world going on."

When one reporter asked, Have you ever hit Lydia?, Terius said,"Definitely Not."

On the heels of a fascinating art-spread in W Magazine, Pharrell Williams appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night where he performed "Come Get It Bae" from the hit G I R L disc. 

During their chat, Pharrell told Jimmy that the material that ended up on Justin Timberlake'sJustified disc was written for Michael Jackson.  Then he told a funny story about Michael's manager saying MJ wanted a song like Norega's"Superthug."  And he detailed their first phone call (which involved a lot of popcorn).

Earlier today we addressed a rumor that's been floating on both coasts:  "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd and husband Lamar Sally have split.  Now...a few more deets have leaked.  Although neither Sherri nor her publicist Darris Hatch have commented (despite repeated requests) MailOnline cites a well-connected source who blames infidelity for the split...and its gets messy. 

Going back to an old National Enquirer report (three months after their wedding in 2011) Lamar reportedly never ended a "friendship" with Wendy Marrisa Peel, a woman whom was intimately involved with Lamar before he met Sherri. This Wendy was even in the wedding party (although Sherri didn't know about their past)!  But it's the National Enquirer...so...yeah...

Now...Lamar is allegedly back in in Los Angeles 'where he belongs,' while Sherri remains in New York to work.

We're sure Sherri will address this before Barbara Walter's farewell speech next Friday.  Stay tuned....

You’ll recall little Marley was born THIS February and everything appeared to be peaches and cream… but only for about a month. Now…these two can’t stand one another, airing their dirty laundry on social media.

She's been cast as a series regular opposite Samantha Logan on ABC Family’s drama pilot "Recovery Road", based on Blake Nelson’s novel about a teenage girl dealing with addiction.

The project centers on Maddie Graham (Logan) who has a reputation as a party girl and doesn’t think she has a problem, until she’s confronted by her school guidance counselor and forced to choose between expulsion and rehab. Maddie opts to spend her nights living with other recovering addicts at a rehab facility, and her days pretending everything is perfectly normal among her high school classmates and her closest friend. Pratt, will play Trish Collins, Maddie’s roommate and recovering addict at the rehab facility.

Photos of The-Dream's baby's mother appearing badly bruised were released by police officials...and they're pretty shocking!  Especially because she was pregnant with his child at the time.  View the graphic pics inside and find out what The-Dream says...

As The-Dream's legal team prepares a defense for his assault case, shocking photos of Lydia Nam (who's accusing him of punching, kicking and strangling her while she was pregnant) have been released.  The photos were taken by Lydia following an alleged argument that is now a part of a criminal complaint.  

While Terius told the media that he's never laid a hand on Lydia, it's apparent that SOMEONE attacked her. The graphic pics show Lydia's bruised and battered arms and legs, cuts to her face and neck and several scratches. 

According to TMZ, the criminal complaint alleges "Dream pulled and dragged her by her hair, choked her with a necklace she was wearing by twisting it tightly around her neck, kicked and punched her in the head and then grabbed her by the neck, pinning her to the wall and choking her again."

The complaint also alleged that The-Dream twisted Lydia's arm when she attempted to dial 911 and he told her he'd kill her “like O.J. Simpson killed Nicole Brown."  Whew.....

Of course, The-Dream denies any of this happened, but the bruises on Lydia's body definitely deserve a thorough investigation.  Whoever did this to her needs to answer to the call of justice.

"Beats By Dre" founders Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine are in talks with Apple to sell the headphones giant for nearly $3.2 billion dollars!  And Dre even made an informal announcement...before possibly sealing the deal at the Apple office this morning.  More inside....

You're very likely looking at Hip Hop's FIRST billionaire!  Dr. Dre and Eminem were spotted inside the APPLE offices in San Francisco this AM (above), so it looks like the deal is a GO.  And super-startup investor "AK" snapped the pic above and revealed that the fellas completed the sale this morning.

Yesterday, a report in Financial Times (also confirmed by Forbes, CNBC and more) has placed hip-hop pioneer Dr. Dre and music industry titan Jimmy Iovine in the Billionaire's Circle.  Industry insiders reported that Apple is close to (if not already completed) acquiring Beats By Dre, the headphone and music streaming operator Dre and Jimmy founded.  And the going rate...is more than $3.2 billion dollars. That's billion with a B. 

Though there's always a chance that talks between the two companies could break down, a deal is expected as soon as next week. And this will be the largest acquisition in Apple's history.    For now, The Chronic rapper is ranked second on Forbes' list of the wealthiest hip-hop artists of 2014 with an estimated wealth of $550 million, but the expected deal (even with him owning a percentage of Beats) would make Dr. Dre hip hop's first billionaire!

Here's his informal announcement just posted on his FB page that Tyrese posted, but was quickly snatched down (once Beats lawyers probably caught wind of it).

We'll let you know when the deal is sealed.  But we have a feeling y'all will be waiting an eternity for Detox  as soon as Dre hits that billie mark.  He has beaches to sit on...

Last night, singer Elle Varner and her good friend Bravo’s Chef Roble Ali took a bathroom break…together at the Dream Hotel, all while attending the Beyond the Burroughs Scholarship fundraiser in NYC.

Bent over a bathroom sink, Chef Roble gave the "F*ck It All" singer an extra hand as she washed her hands. Wonder what he was whispering in her ear that had her so giddy.  Roble did remark that Elle has been a great friend to him for a while now.  So it's likely all just in fun.

Fans of "RHOA" watched catwalk-veteran Cynthia Bailey go through some fluctuations in her weight due to her battle with fibroids this season.  And while the medical issues were totally understandable and we were sympathetic, her husband peter seemed to be...focused on the wrong things.

But now, at 148 pounds, the 5-foot-10 star fabulous model has beaten the fibroids and is focusing on staying in shape and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

There’s a new sheriff in town….and he goes by the name of Dick Parsons. The NBA just named one of the pretty powerful black men in the business world as its new interim CEO for the Los Angeles Clippers. Find out the deets on the new man in charge inside…

After the NBA banned owner Donald Sterling for life over his racist comments and Clippers’ president Andy Roeser stepped down indefinitely, there’s a new man in charge.

Effective immediately, former Citigroup and Time Warner CEO Dick Parsons will become the interim CEO of the Los Angeles Clippers. Dick will now oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clippers.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is excited about the Clippers' new chief executive saying,

"I believe the hiring of Dick Parsons will bring extraordinary leadership and immediate stability to the Clippers organization," Silver said. "Dick's credentials as a proven chief executive speak for themselves and I am extremely grateful he accepted this responsibility."

Dick also commented on his new position, committing to bestow the values and principles of the organization saying,

"Like most Americans, I have been deeply troubled by the pain the Clippers' team, fans and partners have endured," said Parsons. "A lifelong fan of the NBA, I am firmly committed to the values and principles it is defending, and I completely support Adam's leadership in navigating the challenges facing the team and the league."

"The Clippers are a resilient organization with a brilliant coach and equally talented and dedicated athletes and staff who have demonstrated great strength of character during a time of adversity. I am honored to be asked to work with them, build on their values and accomplishments, and help them open a new, inspiring era for their team."

Dick currently sits on the board of directors for the Commission on Presidential Debates and is also a senior advisor at Providence Equity Partners.

Based on his credentials, it seems he would be a good fit for the team. Congrats!

Well....here's a development for you.  It's Sherri Shepherd's HUSBAND who officially filed those papers, just a day after the separation news leaked.  Deets inside...

After cheating rumors flew yesterday saying Lamar Sally allegedly cheated on "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd, it was alleged they had recently separated.

Today, a report surfaced that Sal actually filed for divorce...and back on May 2nd.

He reportedly has already moved from NYC back to L.A.  And we gotta wonder...what made him file so quickly and first?  Is alimony in play?  Well...his lawyer IS Mark Vincent Kaplan ... who famously represented Kevin Federline during his divorce from Britney Spears.

We'll be watching "The View" on Monday twiddling our thumbs to hear Sherri's side...
