Actor Damon Wayans Jr. has spoken out about Dwyane Wade and his baby momma having a son together.  Find out what he said inside...

Since news of Dwyane Wade's lovechild with Aja Metoyer broke last week, folks have been paying close attention to Dwyane and Gabrielle Union's relationship (SIDEBAR:  they're doing fine and even celebrated NYE together).  Outside of the triangle that produced Dwyane's son, Xavier Zechariah Wade, there's a fourth person in this situation...Aja's OTHER baby daddy, "New Girl" star Damon Wayans Jr. 

We told you earlier that 30-year-old Aja was the mother of two....and those other children were with Damon.  When TMZ caught up with him and asked about the Dwyane situation, the actor explained that he and Aja lead separate lives and he just wants what's best for HIS daughters.

"I really have nothing to do with Aja's situation. We both live completely separate lives, aside from co-parenting. My concern are my daughters and that they don't get hurt in any of this."  He added, "love their little brother and that's all I care about."

 

There doesn't appear to be any baby momma drama here.....so far.   We hope it remains that way.

Ice Cube and Kevin Hart have teamed up to create some Hollywood magic (in the spirit of 48 Hours and Lethal Weapon) in their upcoming film Ride Along (in theaters January 17, 2014).  

The two actors appear in the latest issue of JET  magazine (and we have an exclusive look at the cover!) where they talk about taking calculated career risks in Hollywood and what fans can expect from them in 2014. Here are a few highlights from the upcoming issue:

Why did you agree to do the project?

Ice Cube: It was fun with a simple premise. I wanted it to be entertaining and for us to be compared to some of the great comedy duos. From 48 Hours to Lethal Weapon to Bad Boys, I wanted Ride Along to have the same feel.

You say the field is a gamble. What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken?

Kevin: I took a gamble when I quit my job, which meant putting my all into stand-up comedy. That really could’ve gone either way, but it’s hard to tell me something isn’t going to work, especially when I’m betting on myself. I know what I’m capable of.

What’s on deck for 2014?

Ice Cube: I’m working on a movie about NWA and music. Of course, I’m always focused on my family. I have a 19-yearold daughter and my youngest son is 13. I’m teaching them to make sound decisions and to know right from wrong; it really isn’t complicated.

Kevin: I’m working on scripts and a new show for ABC. I still have Real Husbands of Hollywood and about four movies lined up. I’m looking forward to making more films and producing more projects under Hartbeat Productions. I want to show people this guy won’t stop.

After bringing in the new year with her hubby and many other celebs at the Versace Mansion for Diddy's lavish NYE's bash,The Carters were spotted leaving their hotel in South Beach with Blue Ivy in tow.

It was a fashionable affair as Bey, Jay & Blue all wore gold as they headed out in Miami. Bey rocked her liquid gold Nike Air Max 1 sneakers paired with a L.E.S.S. midi crop top and WILDFOX COUTURE Le Femme Deluxe sunglasses. Blue had on a blinged out gold vest with shorts to match and Jigga had on a gold necklace.

B.I.C. will be turning 2-years-old on January 7th. Can you believe it? The family celebrated Blue's first birthday in the Bahamas. We wonder how they plan on celebrating her birthday this year?????

NASA has responded to Bey's explanation/apology for using audio from the 1986 Challenger space shuttle explosion in her song "XO".

“The Challenger accident is an important part of our history; a tragic reminder that space exploration is risky and should never be trivialized,” said the statement from Lauren B. Worley, NASA’s press secretary.“NASA works every day to honor the legacy of our fallen astronauts as we carry out our mission to reach for new heights and explore the universe.”

Bey's publicist has not responded to NASA's statement.

Glad to see Tameka enjoying herself after the turmoil she endured involving her children. First, Tameka lost her 11-year-old son, Kile Glover,a year and a half ago in a jet ski accident. Kile was riding on an inner tube on Lake Lanier when a family friend driving a jet ski accidentally collided with Kile and another young girl, eventually killing him.

Then back in August 2013, she almost lost another son. Tameka and Usher's 5-year-old son Usher V was rushed to ICU after he almost drowned in a pool at Usher's home. To make matters even worse,she lost custody of her two youngest sons, Usher V & Naviyd, soon after Usher V almost drowned. 

Speaking of Usher...

Instead of posting selfies beachside, Usher decided to bring in the New Year in North Africa. Usher traveled to Morocco to get a front row seat to watch a snake charmer charm a cobra on the streets of Marrakesh.

Usher even did a little shopping in Morocco, captioning the pic above, "I'm different, yeah I'm different........3 Chains".

Usher was spotted bringing in the new year with his girlfriend Grace enjoying acrobats and good eats, but no pics of the two in Morocco. *shrugs*

After LESS than a year as their"global creative director", Alicia Keys has severed ties with BlackBerry.

Though Alicia was hired to launch the BlackBerry 10 OS and "inspire the future", the company released a statement, this week, about the end of their working relationship saying,

"BlackBerry and Alicia Keys have completed our year-long collaboration. We thank Alicia for her many contributions including providing creative direction for the BlackBerry Keep Moving Project which attracted more than 40 million visits, advocating for women in STEM and launching the BlackBerry Scholars Program. We have enjoyed the opportunity to work with such an incredibly talented and passionate individual.”

Oh wells.....we wonder if AK will continue to pull out her BlackBerry during live performances of "You Don't Know My Name" like she did Australia last month?

Many of James Avery's former co-stars have posted moving tributes to the beloved actor.  See the tributes inside and read Jada Pinkett's reflections on her 16-year marriage to Will Smith. 

Earlier this week, we shared with you news about the death of celebrated actor James Avery.  Since the announcement, many of his former co-stars have spoken out about his legacy.  

Janet Hubert, the original "Aunt Viv"  shared this statement with TheGrio and passed along one of her favorite clips.

“Acting with James was like a great doubles match! He was one of the best actors I have worked with in my many years. He was like a big strong boulder, that could either crush you or shield you. He was first and foremost an actor, classically trained, climbed that ladder step by step, role by role, to become one of the most powerful TV dads that had ever been created. My heart goes out to Barbara his real wife and family and I ask that you respect her place, as his real wife with regards to her husband with request for statements from me who simply but proudly played his TV wife Vivian Banks. I spent last night going through photos. I found these two from our final Friday night taping of Fresh Prince. We had a cake fight after shedding tears. People don't really understand that we knew how special our time together was. It wasn't special because of popularity or success, but because we were all together, sharing it. It's like it was all meant to be, and we could feel it. In the photo from left to right there's Jeff Pollack, Joseph Marcell, Ross Bagely Jr., Alfonso Ribeiro, Shelley Jensen our director, me, Karyn Parsons Sweet Blackberry, Quincy Jones and Will Smith. Jeff Pollack and James Avery left us.

James was a philosopher king. He taught me to love history and poetry. He taught me that being an artist is one of the noblist professions. He gave me black baby dolls every Christmas. He used to joke that I'd visit him in the old actors age home when I got older. Every end is a beginning. I know James is at peace.

Famed actress and “Single Ladies” star LisaRaye sat down with TheYBF.com for an exclusive conversation about the third season of her hit VH1 show, the sensational fashions she'll be wearing and whether marriage is in her future or not.  More inside....

As fans of VH!’s dishy-original series, “Single Ladies” prepares for a third season (premiering Monday, January 6, 2014 at 9PM ET/PT), TheYBF.com caught up with leading actress LisaRaye, a single lady herself, and dished on the changes her character Keisha will go through this season (including a new romance) and her spicy wardrobe.  Lisa also opened up about her failed marriage and not wanting to grow old alone. Here are highlights from our intimate conversation.

LisaRaye on her character Keisha:

She is finally in a solid relationship with Malcolm. They are together and they have confessed their love for each other. She broke him and he broke her and they finally are on even territory so there is a sense of true love. Malcolm does go through some things this season... something major and it takes Keisha to really hold his hand. I am your support.. I am your woman. There is something that happens to a family member that will either tear them apart or make them closer. Also…this season she is helping Raquel in the boutique this season. She has a rich man so she has the time to help her friend out.

On “Single Ladies” fashion and her personal style:

As a character I wear all kinds of colors, and it allows me to keep up with fashion. How you can put different colors together? Although LisaRaye wears white…..I enjoy seeing to see the combination of what blouse will go with what pant (for my character). As LisaRaye, my accessories are essential. Purse. Shoes. Those are the only parts that are color (that I wear) so they have to be on point.

On Anthony (the “Single Ladies” stylist):

Anthony is doing the clothes this year and he is doing a wonderful job. He is getting to do what he does and that is playing dress up with 3 Barbie dolls. We are all shaped differently and we all bring something to the table. He puts all different labels on us and just play. I enjoy it... it is a fantasy thing for me.

On dating and wanting to get married again:

No I am not dating. I want to be married again... I cannot wait to get in a committed relationship. It is just easier to fight life with a life partner. And then I don't want to grow old by myself. I want to explore life with someone. I want to start dating the man I am supposed to marry too. But I am not “over” excited about it. I am waiting for him to come ... patiently. I know that when I was looking for my significant other (she is divorced from Former Turks and Caicos Islands Premier Michael Misick) I didn't do it right… cause if I did ….I would still be with him now. I got my list like everybody else but whomever God puts in my life and I get that feeling... that “ahhhhhh” feeling….I am waiting for that feeling. A real friend.

On romance and rumors:

People are always putting me in a relationship with anyone they just see me with. I am not going to make my relationship a secret. That will be a happy time of my life.

On interracial dating:

I went to Italy and fell in love with EVERYTHING about it.

On returning to reality tv:

I am in talks right now for a new reality show that I am going to do! It is different and it is positive of course. Everything I do is going to be positive. No info on any deets yet.

On her daughter:

She is always going to be my baby. I still get sensitive. When I think of her as a baby. She was my best friend. She changed my life for the better. She made me more of a woman. More responsible. She made me want to do more. She gave me a second chance at life.

In legal news...

Rapper 50 Cent may be facing a big lawsuit from a womon who claims a sex tape he posed on his website made her suicidal.  On Thursday in NYC, Judge Paul Wootencleared the way for Rick Ross’ ex-girlfriend and baby mama Lastonia Leviston to continue with a 2010 lawsuit she filed claiming emotional distress. Here the messy backstory:

Back in 2009, during the height of his "'beef" with Rick Ross, 50 Cent posted a video of Lastonia having sex with her ex-boyfriend Maurice Murray (who allegedly sold the tape to 50) on his website. The clip clocked 4 MILLION views and featured 50 aka "Pimpin Curly" referring to Lastonia as "Brooke" and inferring that she was a prostitute. Did we mention that messy 50 blurred Maurice's face but kept Lastonia's face un-blurred and recognizable?

In her lawsuit, Lastonia says she became suicidal and dealt with severe depression and anxiety.  Now....Lastonia will be able to take her case before a jury....and she's asking for an unspecified amount in damages. WE HOPE SHE GETS MILLIONS.

It's amazing how "Curtis" (the father of two impressionable sons) would embarrass and attempt to destroy Lastonia's life just get back at Rick Ross. SMH. #karmaisreal

Fantasia recently responded to reports that she is suicidal because of her break-up with Antwaun Cook. Read what she said inside and see how Mama Joyce responds to her "RHOA" critics...… 

Fantasia has been focusing her energy on the Broadway musical production After Midnight, but her nightly performances have done little to stop rumors that she's become suicidal since ending her relationship with baby daddy Antwaun Cook.  She addressed the rumors on Instagram.

But by December....things had changed.  When Antwaun announced via Instagram that he and his estranged wife were getting back together, stories about "suicidal" Fanny started.

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" co-star Mama Joyce is responding to critics due to backlash for her behavior towards Kandi's fiance Todd Tucker.  During a talk with Ebony, Mama Joyce opened up about NOT depending on Kandi for money, NOT being paid by Bravo, and her relationship with Kandi and Todd.

On her being financially dependent of Kandi:

“Cynthia knows that Kandi don’t take care of me,” Mama Joyce clarifies. “I’ve been on disability, Social Security, and plus I have rental property. And anybody that knows me knows that I’ve always had my own money.”

On Bravo NOT cutting her a check:

“I haven’t gotten a penny from Bravo. They got me [as] the main person and I done trended on [Twitter] two weeks in a row and every damn thing. People keep saying ‘You’re a celebrity,’ and I ask, ‘How the hell am I a celebrity?’ I’m the most unpaid celebrity there is. I’m looking in the Us Weekly and I have a picture and I say, ‘How am I getting all of this attention? I’m not a celebrity!’ ”

On her relationship with Kandi & Todd:

“If he makes her happy, I’m happy,” she adds. “I just want the best for her. And if he’s the best for her, well then I’m happy. All I want her to do is be happy. God knows that’s all I want.”

SIDEBAR:  Mama Joyce spent New Year's with Kandi and Todd and revealed they "kind of make up" in an upcoming episode pf RHOA.

Guess we will just have to wait and see......

Kanye West and his makeup-free fiancee Kim Kardashian were spotted out and about in Los Angeles.  Find out what they did inside.....

Kanye West was spotted having a meeting with Adidas execs in Los Angeles today.  You'll recall that he revealed the deal last month during a series of high profile media rants about consumerism and classism.

Yeezy's fiancee, Kim K, who was surprisingly makeup-free, was spotted by his side.  Kim carried a shopping bag from Naimie's Beauty Center where we supposed she replenished her beauty supply.

The couple were most recently spotted on a ski vacation with the rest of the Kardashian clan in Park City, Utah.  Due to his "vow of silence", Ye didn't have any words for the photographers. 

BONUS:

On Instagram, Kim posted a pic of North holding her engagement ring with the caption "It was an amazing year!!!"

Jay Z's Barneys collaboration has provided a financial windfall for The Shawn Carter Foundation. Find out how well the collaboration performed inside and watch the latest video from Beyonce's docu-series.

In spite of the negative press Barneys received after a racial profiling lawsuit went public, the store's holiday collaboration with Jay Z was an overall success.  According to the NY Daily News, The Shawn Carter Foundation will collect OVER $1 million in profits thanks to sales fom the luxury clothing line Jay Z helped launch six weeks ago.

Back in October, Jay discussed the project and what he planned to do with proceeds saying, "This money is going to help individuals facing socio-economic hardships to help further their education at institutions of higher learning."

Congrats to the SC Foundation....they'll be able to bless many college students this year.

Beyonce has released Part 5: Honesty, the fifth installment in her "Self-Titled" mini art feature series about the making of BEYONCÉ. In this clip, she discusses making "Rocket" with Miguel and Justin Timberlake.  Bey said she realizes that she has very young fans, but  she's also earned the right to express herself wholeheartedly....and that includes talking and singing about sex. 

Bey and Jay are also gearing up for Blue Ivy Carter's 2nd birthday.  We look forward to seeing what they have planned....

We think there's something "different" about Cici.......maybe a baby?

50 Cent posted pics of an adorable little boy who "might" be his son with Daphne Joy.  See the pics inside and check out Robin Thicke and son Julian on a grocery run.

Rapper 50 Cent has posted several shots of a cute chubby-faced (who bears a striking resemblance to him) on Instagram.  Though the pics come with "captions" using the word Dad, we've not received an offficial statement from the rapper about having a new son.  

You'll recall that we first learned about 50's "son" when Daphne Joyfiled domestic abuse charges against him in July 2013 and revealed to cops that they had a child together.  SAY WHAT NOW??!!

Well.....it looks like 50 is embracing fatherhood...again.  He's got his young son rocking the "Street By 50" headphones and he tweeting up a storm, "Somebody get me a bottle before I TURN UP LOL. #SMSaudio"

In other Daddy news.....

"Blurred Lines" singer Robin Thicke went grocery shopping with three-year-old son Julian at Bristol Farms in West Hollywood yesterday.

In the latest issue of LA Confidential, Robin talked about his breakout year and all the hard work that came before it. 

"Yeah, it’s been a long, f**ing night. A lot happened on the way to 2013. 'I was like Rocky hitting the meat for a couple of decades and then suddenly getting my shot at the title. I feel like I should run around inside the ring with my arms up. Of course, what’s great about popular culture is that you can only indulge in your success for so long before you have to go back to being a real artist again and putting in the hours. You have to get back to hitting the meat."
 

Cute.....the shopping trip seemed to take a toll on lil' Julian and he had to be carried to the car by his dad.

The "Kanye Workout Plan" seems to be working for new besties Kim Kardashian and Blac Chyna.  See their revealing selfies inside....

You know you've made it into Kim Kardashian's intimate circle when she starts including you in her selfies.  On Instagram, Kim shared a "bootylicious" pic of her and Blac Chyna, posing in the bathroom, with her 12 million followers.  We're not hating....but one (or maybe both) of those rear ends might be fake.  We're just saying.....

The ex-sex tape star and retired-from-the-pole stripper also shared a gratuitous "chest" shot. Again...one (or maybe both) might be fake.  In addition to working out, shopping and dining together, it seems as though Kim and Blac Chyna has established a genuine friendship.  We wonder if Ms. Tyga has asked Kim for advice on promoting her new clothing label?

BONUS:

Over the weekend, Blac Chyna was seen picking up a package at the UPS store in Calabasas. We thought it was a pizza box too.....but that's not on the KANYE workout plan.
