And that's wrap on the messiness that was Porsha& Kordell Stewart's divorce. The twosome have finalized the paperwork, but Kordell's lawyer still has some ish to say...
Porsha Stewart has been far from quiet on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" when it comes to how she feels about her ex-husband, Kordell. But fret no more Pastor Porsha....your divorce is now OFFICIALLY done.
Kordell says he couldn't be more thrilled to get such a horrible person out of his life, this according to TMZ. The NFL baller is said to be "very disappointed" the marriage fell apart, because he expected to be married for life." Oh?
And Kordell's lawyer, Shiel Edlin, isn't ending ish quietly. About Porsha's latest antics, the lawyer stated:
"For reasons we cannot understand, [Porsha] displayed a reckless abandonment of anything close to the truth over the last eight months."
"We are also hopeful that Porsha will stop villifying Kordell at every opportunity."
Oh, you mean Porsha's accustations about Kordell "acting like a Queen" and "wanting to dress Porsha like a Barbie" and wondering what he REALLY wants if it isn't the pretty Ms. Porsha?
We're sure we'll hear more from Porsha about the messy split during coming episodes of "RHOA".
Porsha's response?

Global icon Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, who is called the founder of democracy in South Africa, has died. Remember the man who made activism for freedom & equality his life's work inside....
At age 95, Nobel Peace Prize recipient Nelson Mandela died today after reportedly being on life support for several months. He reportedly died in his own home.
Interestingly, Mandela is a former boxer, but he became legendary for fighting against oppression with non-violence.
His name is synonymous with the struggle and eventual triumph to abolish South Africa's legacy of Apartheid. He fought to end forced racial segregation of the country, fought to change the government and promote peace. He constantly promoted freedom and equality throughout South Africa.
He became a more physical activist by founding a military to fight against the government who constantly killed scores of citizens. As an anti-Apartheid activist, Mandela was then imprisoned for 27 years after being convicted of sabotage and conspiring to overthrow the government.
When he was freed at age 75, he was overwhelmingly democratically elected as South Africa's first black President. And it proved to the world that fighting for peace and equality is a necessity, no matter the consequences.
Jacob Zumba, the current President of South Africa, gave a press conference moments ago confirming that Nelson Mandela has passed. He said:
"Nothing can diminish our sense of the profound loss. his entire struggle for freedom gained him the respect of the world. His humility, his compassion and his humanity...
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mandela family. To them we owe a debt of gratitude. They have sacrificed much and enjoyed much so that our people could be free."
Losing a global icon who has been called one of the kindest men on the planet is sad news. Many reporters in South Africa have said that citizens simply wanted their beloved "Madiba" to finally be in peace. And now, he is.
The Obama family made a historic visit to Mandela's home to meet him two years ago, and President Obama spent time in his jail cell on Robben Island.
The world will be able to see a new glimpse into his life with the upcoming biopic, Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom. The movie is premiering tonight in London.
His amazing legacy will forever remain a moral encompass and a symbol of freedom for us all. And a reminder to never give up.
R.I.P.
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” -Nelson Mandela
Drake was so inspired by a recent ABC NEWS story that he traveled to Philly to make a very special announcement to the students at Strawberry Mansion High School. Find out what the students will be getting from OVO's superstar inside....
Students at Strawberry Mansion High School, a severely under-served learning institution in Philadelphia, just got a huge present from Drake. Drake told ABC News that he was inspired by a recent story on World News about the struggling school and how viewers chipped in to buy them new school uniforms. The "From Time" rapper said, "I caught this piece that Diane did....by the end of it, I was so heavily affected that I started questioning major aspects of my life."
In response to the piece, Drake made a surprise appearance at the school and announced plans to build an on-site recording studio for the students and they'll all get free tickets and transportation to his Dec 18th “Would You Like A Tour” concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
And with art & music programs being cut from so many schools for financial reasons, this is a welcomed gift.
Gotta love Drizzy!

R&B crooner Ne-Yo and his COMPOUND Entertainmentteamed up with the Boys & Girls Club of America to party with a purpose last night. See him alongside Kandi Burruss, Keshia Knight Pulliam and more inside....
Last night, Ne-Yo (posing above with Monyetta Shaw and their kids Madilyn Grace Smith and Mason Evan Smith) was a Do Gooder along with the Boys & Girls Club of America. He and his celeb friends had an evening of giving that touched the lives of nearly 500 underprivileged children.
DUring the event, Ne-Yo, whose Compound Foundation has been a longtime partner with Boys & Girls Club, was presented with an award from Toys For Tots by the US Marines.
Ne-Yo's mom, Loraine Smith, oversees the Compound Foundation. (This is a positive post so we will stick to the script, OK.....)
He recently spoke about his mom, revealing how she inspired his sense of giving.
"She is the person who taught me if you are given blessings you can be a blessing to someone else, and if you can help – you help. It’s not about cameras flashing or someone patting you on the back, it’s not about what you get in return, it’s simply about helping because it’s the right thing to do."
Awww.
Atlanta celebs came out to support, including Bobby V and RHOA star Kandi Burruss.
Keshia Knight Pulliam was also on hand to sign autographs and spread holiday cheer.
During a recent interview, Ne-Yo was asked about his rewarding work with the organization, "Just the looks on the kids’ faces and knowing that I have given a kid who didn’t have a reason to smile, a reason to smile."
Author and former reality tv star Toya Wright was also a part of the event. She had her daughter Reginae Carter there too.
Toya joined Monyetta to help pass out gifts.
Kandi, Monyetta, Keshia and Toya all posed for a holiday pic.
Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed supported the event.
And Black Santa was there in full force. Gotta love it!
This season of "Scandal", we get to meet a pre-teen 'Olivia Pope' as the ultimate Fixer has some major flashbacks about her mysterious mother. Meet the talented YBF chick who plays 'Young Olivia' inside...
Been wondering who's that YBF chick playing 'Young Olivia' on this season of "Scandal"? Meet super adorable teen actress Yara Shahidi!
Yara is 13-years-old and is already co-starring on one of television's biggest, history-making shows. And we think she makes for the perfect young Kerry Washington/Olivia.
This budding actress is taking the fabulous opportunity very seriously, and constantly tweets about her on-set education she is receiving from the vets in the business. Yara posted about how gracious she was that Kerry made a special trip to the set just to say Hi.
And about her on screen mom and dad (Khandi Alexander& Joe Morton), she looks to them like her personal on-set acting coaches. She says "Ms. Khandi" is "a talented, stunning, amazing role model" for her. And she says she's "learning while working" with Joe.
Gotta love a kid who realizes & utilizes the resources they have at their fingertips.
She's also been sharpening her acting chops as a First Daughter on the Centric network sitcom "The First Family".
And she previously starred with Eddie Murphy in Imagine That, popped up in Angelina Jolie's film Salt, and co-starred in Tyler Perry's Alex Cross film.
And by the way, she's got a super famous cousin to boot: Nas! The rapper tweeted about his little cousin's appearance on the show last night, and they recently snapped a pic together with Nas' daughter, Destiny.
Well, HELLO Hottie! British bombshell Naomie Harris is showing off her sex appeal for Esquire magazine. Check out how the newest 'Winnie Mandela' is reminding us of her Bond Girl behavior....
Naomie Harris stripped down and opened up--literally--to shoot the Esquire January Film Special. In sheer black & blue lingerie and heels, the 37-year-old Skyfall actress turned Mandela star is doing a whole lot of talking...without saying a word.
But she did actually speak a few words...about her equally sexy co-star Idris Elba. She admitted she was the one who started the rumors about Mandela star Idris becoming the first black James Bond.
'A journalist once asked me, ‘Who do you think is going to be the next Bond?’ I said, ‘I’ve just finished working with Idris so, if I had the chance, I would vote for him’.
'The next thing there were headlines going: Naomie Harris says Idris Elba to be the next Bond’. And Idris has had to live with that ever since. Now, nearly every time he does an interview, he gets asked about it.'
And she also told Esquire about being terrified about what the real Winnie Mandela would think of her movie portrayal:
'She loved it. I was over the moon — she was the one critic I was really scared of. But she’s seen it, she likes it, my job is done.'
More hot pics below:
Loves her! The full interview with Naomie is in the January 2014 issue of Esquire on stands now.
This season of "Scandal" has been reduced to 18 episodes. Not because it's not doing well (it's actually one of the top shows on television). It's reportedly because Kerry Washington, the star, can no longer conceal her "secret" real life pregnancy while filming.
Deets inside...
Gladiators are being shorted 4 episodes of "Scandal" this season. And it's not because ABC won't order the full 22 episodes. According to reports, it's Kerry Washington who is the cause of the shortened season.
Kerry's character Olivia Pope is not pregnant, and it seems creator Shonda Rhimes has no intent of sending the story in that direction. So reports state Kerry is running out of ways to conceal a pregnancy the world already knows about. Deadline reports:
The network has reduced the order for the hot Shonda Rhimes drama from 22 to 18 episodes. The network wouldn’t give a reason for the cutback but, of course, it is not because ABC doesn’t want a full season of Scandal — it would gladly take 40 episodes a season from its new flagship drama series if it could. But Scandal star Kerry Washington is pregnant, and it’s getting hard to hide the pregnancy in loose-fitting clothes for the normally super stylish and elegant Olivia Pope — and it’s hard to reduce Washington’s workload as Pope is the show and in most scenes.
Really though? The secrecy level has now reached a breaking point when you start cutting us out of our damn episodes Kerry!
And since her 'Olivia' character is not pregnant, it's not impossible to conceal a real life pregnancy in clothes and creative camera angels, like plenty of actresses have done before when their characters weren't pregnant.
So what is the problem?
Kerry has been overwhelmingly secretive about her marriage and her pregnancy to the point where she hasn't even acknowledged her husband Nnamdi by name. She's barely outright confirmed from her own mouth she's married. She hasn't even been seen with her husband. But, we've let all that slide. Because as long as she keeps up her Olivia Pope fabulousness, we say, "Do you boo."
It's one thing to go out of your way to hide a pregnancy by not acknowledging it in any way. We haven't criticized her for it. But when you start cutting into our "Scandal" life to cover up something we already know about, now we have a problem.
We're sure someone can find a way to strategically hide your pregnancy for a few more episodes (assuming health is not an issue since that is not what was said in the report--if health IS the issue, we fully understand the episodes being cut). Feel free to call up Claire Danes from "Homeland" (she filmed strenuous scenes for her non-pregnant character overseas while several months pregnant and no one could tell) or any of the soap operas since they do this all the time.
This pregnancy is the worst kept secret in Hollywood. We're just saying...we already know boo.
In an exclusive interview with TheYBF.com, former 702 singer MeelahWilliams is dishing it ALL for the very first time. And she's talking about her stint on the upcoming third season of "R&B Divas Atlanta".
We also got her to share her side of 702's toxic breakup as a group. Plus, the fab mom opens up about being a first time parent with Musiq Soulchild as they raise their son with special needs....
Kameelah Williams, known to R&B music fans as Meelah, has joined the cast of "R&B Divas Atlanta" for its third season. And we spoke to one of our fave fab chicks from the 90's about how she finally started to "Get It Together".
In an exclusive interview with TheYBF.com, we asked Meelah if she knew what she was getting into when she signed up for R&B Divas. She told us, “I am a reality show junkie…I’m really into watching people see their dreams come true on these shows.”
From our chat with Meelah, it’s clear that she’s totally committed to being transparent with the audience...and this is her shot at achieving her dreams of solo success. And by the way, she says she's not the one to blame for 702's breakup...
On breaking free from her “toxic” 702 situation and singing all the leads:
“Our story hasn’t been told. When it comes to the demise of 702, I feel like I was the blame. I feel like the public perception is that I left to pursue a solo career but that’s not the case. We had a lot of internal issues, there was a lot of jealousy and animosity towards me….because I was brought on to give the group a “voice” lift. It was kinda like I was put in that position and it was hard for all of us. I felt bad cause I didn’t want to be the one responsible for them feeling like they were no longer worthy of singing lead. And then they felt bad cause they were like this chick coming in and taking all the vocals. It was difficult."
On why she ultimately left 702:
"I think the public needs to know that those things eventually weakened us and that’s why we had to separate. It just became a toxic and unhealthy environment. I just felt uncomfortable after a while and it got ugly by the third album. It was like…..I wasn’t happy anymore. I think people need to know that I left the group because there was just all of that shade towards me. I didn’t want to deal with it anymore."
On Motown abandoning the group's third album “Star”
"They didn’t promote it anymore and it was over after that…I was very hurt. It’s crazy because I felt like it was over once it came out. They was a lack of promotion and no one knew that 702 was back with an album. We had been off the scene for three or four years and I just felt like the setup wasn’t enough for what we deserved. But…I stuck around for a minute. Maybe another year. But it was like, dry. There was no touring. Finally I was like, I gotta go. I had a conversation with the girls and it was all good. They knew I was unhappy and we had to part ways."
On joining "R&B Divas"
"God put it in my lap. I'm appreciative to be on a show like "R&B Divas". I'm so happy that people will get to see what I’m working on. I’m getting in the studio with Sean Garrett and I’m excited that I’m able to work with a producer of his caliber as a solo artist."
On singing 702's hit songs as a solo artist:
"I was nervous at first (during a two-week solo run in Japan). I didn’t know how they were going to receive me (solo) at first. I didn’t know if they were gonna be like “Where My Girls At?” for real!! (Laughs) They treated me like I had just put out an album the night before. It feels so good to be doing it again."
On her and Musiq Soulchild raising a son together with Autism (and showing this on television)
"He’s very supportive. We’ve been working on music together and he’s very supportive of me doing the show. He excited for me to stop worrying his nerves chile and get my music back on track, cause he knows that’s what I really want. He’s super excited that this opportunity has come for me. We’ve just been trying to keep the balance in terms of doing music together, raising a son together and moving forward with our lives as co-parents. And just learning how to do it all. We’re both new parents and it’s the first time I’m on reality tv, it’s my first time as a solo artist. It’s the first time that I’m sharing my life. Sharing with people that “Hey I have a special needs child.” We’re going through our situation with our relationship and trying to figure that out. The transparency is definitely new but hopefully I’ll give the children (the audience) what they want."
On dealing with Zac’s special needs and support from Holly Robinson Peete:
"I’ve been fortunate to speak with Holly Robinson Pete. Keisha Epps (Omar Epps’ wife) hooked me up with Holly. She's informative, knowledgeable and wise. I’m so appreciative that I have somebody like that who I can reach out to. It is hard trying to figure out the day to day of a special needs kid. I'm just so happy I have the support of someone who has gone through this journey."
On reuniting with 702 in the wake of so many group reunions:
“It’s not really something that I’m interested in right now; however, “Never Say Never”…..that’s what Brandy told ya’ll!

She gave birth to baby Aden a little over a year ago. And she's now cross the finish line of her post-baby body makeover. Tamera showed off her new body in a blog post Friday. And she let the world know it all happened with hard work, her two trainers and eating right:
Happy Friday! It’s been over one year since I had my baby boy Aden, and I am so proud of all the progress I’ve made in my post-pregnancy journey. Mentally, I have learned so much about being a mom – from dealing with separation anxiety to experiencing little joys like Aden sitting up on his own for the first time, it’s been amazing year of growth and learning. Physically, it’s been a grueling, butt-busting journey – but I’m so proud to say that after a year, I finally did it…I lost all my baby weight! I did it with hard work, portion control and my two amazing trainers Michael Myers and Jeanette Jenkins. No pills, no surgery, no starvation…just hard work and a positive mindset.
If I can do it, I know all of you can too!
Over the last year, she's been candid on her new talk show "The Real" and in interviews about this mommyhood journey. She's said her post baby weight loss inspirations were Christina Milian and Hillary Duff...and she revealed the road has been far from easy.
We love Tamera for showing the world her progress, struggles and triumphs with new mommyhood. And she's always looked fabulous to us.

'I definitely would get married again. I still believe in love … I’m not one of those people that’s like, "We need to get engaged, we need to get married." No, absolutely not. I feel like that’s going to come, just like with the baby, let it come. I’m not forcing anything, so if it happens, it happens.'
