Keshia Knight Pulliam may have a new boo on her hands.  TheYBF.com spotted her taking in an Atlanta Dream game with radio host Big Tigger.  And, they went back to her place...together....

These two may be "just friends" for now, but we wouldn't surprised if their lil friendship blossomed into something more pretty soon.

Big Tigger recently moved to Atlanta to take over the Afternoon Drive slot on V-103.

And our spying eyes caught the two giggling and carrying on while taking in the Atlanta Dream WNBA game Sunday afternoon at Phillips Arena.  And while the Dream beat the Mystics, we spotted Keshia & Tigger sharing laughs between each other and snapping a few pics...separately....with fans.

We then spotted the two after their WNBA date outing in the lobby of The Atlantic...the luxury residential building where Keshia lives.  So either Tigger was just the consummate gentleman and made sure his "friend" got home safely.  Or, the two went a little further than the lobby...

Actor Lee Thompson Young, who rose to fame on Disney's "The Famous Jett Jackson" took his own life this morning.  He was 29. More inside....

Former Disney star Lee Thompson Young, who starred in our fave back-in-the-day shows "The Famous Jett Jackson", was found dead this morning at his LA home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The actor, who currently stars on TNT's "Rizzoli & Isles", was discovered by his landlord whom TNT staffers to check on Lee when he didn't show up to work this morning.

Lee's long-time manager Jonathan Baruch, confirmed the suicidesaying,

““It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning. Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed. We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends as this very difficult time.”

Also, TNT, Rizzoli & Isles‘ studio Warner Bros. and executive producer Janet Tamaro issued a statement on Lee Thompson Young’s death:

“Everyone at Rizzoli & Isles is devastated by the news of the passing of Lee Thompson Young. We are beyond heartbroken at the loss of this sweet, gentle, good-hearted, intelligent man. He was truly a member of our family. Lee will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him, both on- and offscreen, for his positive energy, infectious smile and soulful grace. We send our deepest condolences and thoughts to his family, to his friends and, most especially, to his beloved mother.”

Reports are surfacing that "Chateau Sheree", the fabled property associated with former "RHOA" star Sheree Whitfield has gone into foreclosure! Find out how you can purchase a piece of reality tv history inside.... 

Like her fellow former "Housewives" franchise star, Bethenny Frankel, said about the folks on the show living outside their means,“I think, because I’ve been around it, that Bravo likes to cast someone that lives a larger than life life and that people look at and think they’re so wealthy and want that and think it’s aspirational."

Sheree Whitfiled may want to take heed. 

This won't come as a shock to anyone who's been a longtime fan of "RHOA", but the streets of Atlanta are buzzing that former "RHOA" star Sheree Whitfield and fabled McMansion that she hoped to build, Chateau Sheree, is facing foreclosure.  The construction site of a dream home, which NeNe Leakes famously called "Never-land" is apparently available immediately for short sale at $340k.

According to a well-connected real estate agent in the area, the property has two loans against it and may be marketed as a “tear down” because the existing structure has been exposed to the elements. SMH......

Surprisingly, Sheree has not made any statements about an "alleged" foreclosure.  But looking at her past behavior, we suspect she'll eventually make a response with in depth explanations....

A controversial pastor in Waco, Texas is BANNING members from wearing weaves!  Obviously, this foolywang material struck a nerve with us.  Now find out why the minister wants women to stop adding tracks inside.....

One thing you DO NOT do...is come between ANY woman and her weavery.  But one pastor is trying it.

A pastor in Waco, Texas is taking the whole "Come As You Are" concept a little far as he's attempting to BAN weaves from his congregation.  

During an interview with AmericanPreachers.com, pastor A.J. Aamir of Resurrecting Faith in Waco, Texas told his staffers that weaves present a false image and are associated with women who have low self-esteem. Following that, he went on to issue a decree to the women of his congregation, asking them to not wear weaves. Why? He told the website,

“Our black women are getting weaves trying to be something and someone they are not. Be real with yourself is all I’m saying."

He continued,

“Long hair don’t care. What kind of mess is that? I don’t want my members so focused on what’s on their heads and not IN their heads. I lead a church where our members are struggling financially. I mean really struggling. Yet, a 26 year old mother in my church has a $300 weave on her head. NO. I will not be quiet about this.”

Of course, he can't LEGALLY ban anyone from wearing a weave to his church, but we suppose he could make a woman feel uncomfortable simply by telling her what she can and can't do with ANY part of her body. Do you think the pastor should focus on more "relevant" problems facing African Americans, or is he onto something?  

Y'all already know our answer.  WEAVES 4-EVA!

And since this "pastor" believes the one and ONLY reason a "black woman" wears a weave is to be something she's not, what's the explanation for every other race of women--and ALL races have women of many ages who rock a weave or two--who wear weaves as well? 

Sounds like a narrow minded, old school way of thinking.  From braids to colored snap-ons to tracks to wigs, hair is just HAIR.  And many women--of any race--simply like to have fun with new styles and/or protect their own hair follicles.  Why are you mad sir?

Until this "pastor" tells his men of the congregation to also stop being something they're not, please fall back sir.  Relay a message to the men of the congregation (and everywhere) to stop wearing those pants that always seem to hug around their package....and men know it makes them look more endowed than they are.  Just sayin'....

We caught up with two of our fave YBF chicks as they promoted their upcoming movie Baggage Claim in L.A.  We found out from Lauren London& Jill Scott that they're real life good friends, really.  And the secret to how both single moms keep it ridiculously fabulous while embarking on their Hollywood takeovers...both as single moms.

This weekend at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles, TheYBF.com caught up with two of the most fab chicks in the upcoming ensemble cast romantic comedy film, Baggage Claim.  Lauren London -- who rocked a casual chic look of nude Manolo Blahniks, AG Jeans & a sleeveless white lace Urban Outfitters blouse -- and Jill Scott.

Dimpled cutie Lauren wasn't shy about telling us the real difference between MEN and boys, and how she keeps it fly with this busy jet setting life of hers.  And with her son in tow.  She's got to film BET's "The Game" in Atlanta much of the year, make guest appearances on VH1's "Single Ladies' and still keep up that movie career and home life in Hollywood.  So we grilled her on how she juggles it all.

YBF: Tell us about your character in "Baggage Claim":
LL: I liked my character because she was so happy and full of life and just this bubbly personality and I got really attracted to doing the film because the cast was awesome. I've always wanted to work with [writer David E. Talbert]. I've known David for a couple of years now, I’ve wanted to do a project with him and then working with Paula Patton and Jenifer Lewis... I play Paula's younger sister who's getting married and I want her to be my maid of honor. She's the 'always a bridesmaid never a bride' and my wedding kinda leads her to finding a man in 30 days and a date to my wedding and you see her in the process of finding herself.

Since the backdrop of the movie is Paula and co.'s flight attendant jobs, tell us about a horror flying story:
That extra check they do. When they pat you down. Like, girl, really? I clearly am not walking around with anything. That's been horrible. I don't like people who I don't know touching me.

Do you think it's because you’re the fabulous Lauren London and they're trying to cop a feel?:
I guess it depends on what city your in (laughs) I don't know. They're rude so I wouldn't think fans would be so rude. I think some people just do the most when they have power.

Do you find it difficult traveling with a small child?:
I think it's always difficult traveling with toddlers. You just want them to be really comfortable.  You wanna make sure they have everything that makes them comfortable. It's not easy for us to travel as adults so you imagine as a kid they don't understand but he's been a pretty good traveler.

Who from the cast would you take to travel with you?
Uhh... who would be my travel buddy? Haha that would be a trick question. It would be Jill. That's my girl in real life.

What are your traveling essentials:
A bottle of water, sweats and a hoodie, sneakers, thick socks, good music and a good book.

What is on your travel playlist:
My iPod is so random. I have everybody from Dr. Dre to Anita Baker, Sara McLaughlin to everybody. But really I listen to old school Faith Evans to old Kelly Price CDs.

What can we expect from Lauren London in the future?:
We actually go back to shooting another season of ‘The Game’ later on this month.

I don't think men are intimidated by anything, boys are though.
 

So are you dating?
No I'm not dating. I'm not into it right now. I'm enjoying being a mom and my career.

And proving that Lauren's co-star Jill is indeed one of those #RealFriends, she answered our travel buddy question very similarly to Lauren. 

She also revealed to us that her character in Baggage Claim, "Gail", is a spicy man eater who loves a wig.  Something tells us this role isn't too far from real life.  Meow.

YBF: Who from the cast would be your travel buddy?
JS: Lauren London. That's my homegirl. She’s so cool to get along with. She’s really easy and fun, light spirited. I know Lauren doesn’t try to work on a vacation. She’s trying to chill on a vacation. Like ,when we go out it's because its mutual. Have you ever been on a vacation with someone who's  like ‘come on lets go to the...and lets have... and lets do the...’ it's really agitating. I work. I travel for a living so it's not like I wanna work on vacation. I wanna chill.

What are your travel essentials?
They have this awesome lotion they sell at the airport. I like to travel with rose water to spray on my face through the flight. I don’t go too many places without Halls and nasal decongestant. I have Halls often. I normally have a neck pillow and lotion.

Who do you listen to while you're traveling?
Right now, I'm listening to Gregory Porter whose amazing. I’m listening to A$AP Rockyand Laura Mvula.

Have you ever spied on your boyfriend?
I don’t think so. I have shown up unannounced before and saw something I didn’t want to see. That's happened but the whole spy game, no.

Who is your favorite leading man in the film?
I would say Djimon Hounsou, "Quinton".  He seems very romantic [SPOILER ALERT] and he doesn’t want anything but at least you know. Others will pretend they do until they know for certain then all you have left is a bunch of feelings. Quinton would be my choice.

If you met a man who offered you a lifestyle of no commitment, would you take it?
It depends on where I was in life. If I was looking for love, then no. If I was looking for a great time, absolutely. For me, at this time, I wouldn't take it.

Are you in the studio? What are you working on?
I'm in the studio whenever no one is seeing me. I just got off a tour but in between the tour I go to the studio at night. Im working on 2 records, one is called the lullaby record its for adults and infants. Its pretty awesome and a studio recording as well.

Despite a recent seizure scare, Chris Brown was spotted partying at Foxwoods Resort Casino this weekend.  See pics of Chris entertaining the crowd inside and find out how the city of Memphis honored hometown success story K. Michelle. 

Though the "Fine China" singer is constantly plagued with ongoing legal battles and even suffered a recent seizure scare, he hasn't let any of those situations prevent him from promoting his X album or connecting with his fans.  

Yesterday, Chris performed before a sold-out crowd at Liquid Sundays at Foxwoods Resort Casino.  And he turned it out and clearly had No Worries.

Breezy recently revealed the video for his latest single, "Love More" featuring Nicki Minaj, which he also directed. 

The X disc, which has already spawned the singles "Fine China" and "They Don't Know", will hit shelves August 26th.

In other music news....

Singer K. Michelle made a triumphant return home last Friday where she was presented with the Mayor’s “Ambassador Award” by Mayor AC Wharton at the Memphis City Hall.  And we finally get to see her son!  She made it a family affair by bringing him with her.

During the presentation of the award, Mayor AC Wharton spoke about K. Michelle's long road to success and how she made her hometown proud.

"It gives me so much pleasure today to honor one of our own. I proudly give her the Ambassador Award...I say ambassador because this is someone who was raised up here, so she found out what this great city was about. She is the Memphis story. Not only is she keeping that story to herself, everywhere she goes she tells the Memphis story; personifies the Memphis story."

After his kind words, the "V.S.O.P" singer stepped to the mic and thanked him for the honor.

"This is an honor. I absolutely love my city. I want to thank everyone. It’s been a struggle and a fight, but I’m just getting started in this business. You have to fight if you want to be a musician. If this is what you want to do, you can never give up on it."

Following the ceremony, K. Michelle posed with a few city officals as well as friends and family.

Meagan stopped by Nick Cannon's 3rd Annual Back To School Drive this weekend when the folks over at Hip Hollywood asked her about those pregnancy rumors.  Yep, she saw your comments asking if she should be put on Preggers Watch.  But Meagan said her and husband DeVon Franklin aren't planning on expanding their fam for another 3 years at least.

She screamed out,“I’m not pregnant!”

And laughed saying, “It’s called too much pizza, too late at night.  I saw the picture....One picture my stomach looked flat, the other it looked like a baby bump. I was like ok.”

She shouted out her trainer at the end saying she would be hitting her up soon.  But we think she looks pretty perfect the way she is.

And speaking of revealing videos, singer John Legend was all about showing his goods in a brand new video for Funny Or Die.  Check out a day in the life of John...where he gets butt ass naked every other minute during his busy day of doing....nothing.  Hilar.

It's a vibrant face-off!  YBF chicks Tatyana Ali & Estelle both rocked the same multi-colored Pia Pauro dress. But you decide who rocked it BEST inside...

Tatyana Ali first rocked this multicolor beaded cocktail dress byPia Pauro back in April to hit the red carpet of the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.  The bronzed and gorge "Second Generation Wayans" star paired her polished look with mustard Eric Rutberg pumps and only a pair of stud earrings to accessorize.

"Call These Boys" singer Estelle popped up in East Hampton, New York this weekend in the same Pia Pauro dress.  The fashion lover performed at Saturday's Compound Foundation 2nd Annual "Fostering A Legacy" Benefit hosted by Ne-Yo& Mission BIG.   And she paired her dress with black sandals and plenty of bangles and bracelets to make the colors pop.

WHO RAN IT?!

And there's more drama in the Raz B alleged coma & hospital situation.  But the good news is, he's doing way better than the public was led to believe.  Details on an alleged fake publicist creating the coma hoax and what that "publicist" says now...

This past weekend, TMZ broke the news of Raz B slipping into a coma after he was smashed in the face with a bottle during his performance in China.  The site stated they were told this information by Raz's publicist, Toy Jones.  And apparently, Toy sent the statement to many sites, with a follow up statement about him no longer needing life support.

But now, CNN says even though they received the same "coma" statement, Raz's manager Elayne Rivers nowtells them the story was completely false.  And Toy is not "an official representative" of the singer.

People, including us, were shocked to hear that Raz randomly slipped into a coma right after the initial report said he had gone to the hospital to get his lip stitched up and he was A-OK. 

Rivers told CNN that while Raz was indeed involved in a nightclub brawl near Shanghai, he was not in a coma.  CNN also says they received a personal email from Raz once the coma story broke, asking them NOT to run it.  And Elayne Rivers sent an official statement to the site yesterday (Monday) distancing her client from the coma story.

The interesting part about all this is Toy's response once CNN asked her about her "false" statement:

When CNN asked Jones about the statement, she said "as far as I know it is true" that he was in a coma. She said she was hired by Raz B's family to get the story out to the news media.

Even more interesting?  Raz's own brother, Ricky Romance, also was told his brother was in a coma. And he says based on the source (and we assume this is someone who he trusted and knew) who told him Raz was in a coma...and since he was unable to reach his brother....he believed it as well.

"I was unfortunately unable to contact my brother at the time and then panicked," Romance said. "I then alerted as many people of this information hoping to gather facts... Since the source that gave me this information was what I thought to be legitimately reliable I didn't question I just believed. I apologize if I seem like I jumped to conclusions but a coma is a serious situation and it was concerning my brother whom is my best friend as well. I sincerely apologize for the confusion I caused if that is the case."

Hmmm.  Singers, esp. those not in the everyday limelight, can and do change representatives often.  And sometimes, reps are hired by certain people on the team and not everyone is made aware.  So, either this Toy Jones person is a total fabrication all together, or Raz's family is not in proper communication with Raz's management about who can speak "officially."

Bottom line: Raz B is A-OK.

Derek stars in the film alongside the eternal bridesmaid Paula Pattonwho goes on a quest to nab herself a fiance.

"LAHH ATL" star Karlie Redd, who recently launched a new weave line, and her boobs posed alongside actor Carl Payne.  While on the carpet, Carl said he was excited for fans to see him play LA Reid in the VH1 TLC biopic. 

That should be interesting.  Well, that and whatever Karlie and Carl are doing hitting this carpet together....

Erica Dixon was there with her boyfriend Oshea Russell.  He's GOT to be related to MiMi's man Nikko.  We're convinced.

Producer Jazze Pha posed with Jevon “Vawn” Sims who stars on Mona Scott Young's upcoming new Bravo series"The New Atlanta."

Oh?  Well in case you missed it, rapper & "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" star Lil Scrappy& rapper/"Basketball Wives Miami" tried-to-be-a-castmember Bambi recently put their couple status on official display at Krave nightclub in the ATL.  They shared some kisses after arriving together, and were def sharing some love in the club.

Yes, Bambi is on a mission to be on somebody's show and on somebody's arm as everyone's thirst for publicity in Hollywood continues.  Her latest feat?  Actually going public with some type of couple status with Lil Scrappy. 

The twosome pulled up to the scene at Krave a few nights ago together for the birthday bash of friend "Mz Shyneka".  Oh, it gets better.

Scrappy's homeboy was so happy to see the cameras dude pretty much busted his ass in the street while acting all hype.

But it didn't seem to bother his baby mama and co-star Erica Dixon in the least bit.  She and her yellow lipstick (you are too fab for this tragic lip color E) posed it up without her new man and looked happier than ever.  Cute jumpsuit though.

Krsi Jenner plans to go out with a big bang as her daytime chatfest "Kris" ends its six-week test run.  She's done an hour long interview with rapper Kanye West, set to air on Friday.  *Insert collective groan*

The interview was taped Monday at the Culver City, CA studio and covered a wide range of topics, including, his two-month-old baby girl North, his rocky relationship with the press and how much he loves Kim. In fact, he joked about Kim's past relationships with NFL star Reggie Bush and NBA star Kris Humphries saying, 'I am so in love with Kim, I thought about playing sports!'

And for fans who'd like to get more insight into Kanye's life as a confident teen, a few pics of teenage Kanye have emerge. They show a highly ambitious and creative teen who always had a love for rap, poetry AND the spotlight.

Kanye West's hour-long interview on “Kris” will air Friday, Aug. 23. Also, Kanye is set to perform “Black Skinhead” at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn on Sunday, Aug. 25.

After taking a private plane down to Miami to party with Jay Z and Justin during their Legends Of The Summer Tour, pop starlet Rihanna has returned to the Big Apple where she was spotted leaving brunch at Da Silvano restaurant yesterday.

The the fashion lover headed over to the West Village to grab some basics at American Apparel that we know she will make look like million bucks.  

Though she was shopping at AA, the "Diamonds" chick was in head-to-toe in River Island gear from her newest fall collection.  She rocked fatigue leggings that said “RiRi” on the waist, a “G4Life” bra top and beanie, and a denim jacket. She accessorized her look with a gold necklace, some rings and bracelets, and Chanel sunglasses.

And she even made a late night stop to McDonald's.  Sometimes a chick just needs some good ass fries.  Gotta love it.

Fans of RiRi's looks will get to see more of her stylish selections once her reality show "Styled To Rock" hits the Style Network this fall.  And she might rock a few things in whatever video she was shooting with A$AP Rocky and the A$AP crew.  Rih was spotted making out with Rocky on the set.  But maybe it was just all part of their script....

Tamar Braxton has come clean about the "wig" tweets that upset reality star K. Michelle,  revealing that the tweets WERE NOT about the "V.S.O.P." singer, but were actually directed towards Tamar's wig stylist (the one she says K. Michelle stalked)! Listen to Tamar's interview inside....

"Love & War" singer Tamar Braxton spoke to Muthaknows and Mina SayWhat from "The Rise & Grind Morning Show" on Power 99 where she gave them "the 411" on what's really going on between her and "LAHH ATL" star K. Michelle.  

Previously, we told you about the war of words on Twitter between Tamar and K. Michelle.  There was a nasty exchange after Tamar tweeted about her "wig" being taken.  To clear up the tweet, Tamar revealed today that her comment was directed towards the person who styles her wigs....not at K. Michelle.  But Tamar says K. Michelle stalked her wig maker and then commissioned a wig that looked VERY similar to one she had previously worn. So....that remark was INDIRECTLY aimed at K.

Tamar went on to say, "Every situation I've had with this person....she's invited herself into." She explained that the two had a previous Twitter battle over tweets Tamar sent to her BFF Toya Wright.  Again, Tamar says she was not speaking to K. Michelle or about her, yet K. started tweeting catty comments.  

Tamar revealed that the situation got so sticky that Mona Scott Young and Vincent Herbert had to get involved.  She said K. Michelle has offered to call her an apologize.  But Tamar felt that since she insulted her publicly, she should apologize in public as well.  And since a public apology has never happened, Tamar says they won't be able to have a friendship.

Oh drats!

R.Kelly just dropped a track with Future called "Tear It Up".  Check it inside, plus Omarion back with an R&B track "Know You Better"...

He may have just had his famed Chicago mansion slashed in price from over $3 million to $500K, but the R. is still cranking out the music he's known for.

This time, he's teamed up with Future--who has built a rap career off of being auto tuned to death saying the same 5 words over and over--to drop "Tear It Up."

Obviously, R. makes the song.  And the slightly ratchet sound of Future gives it a little edge.  Check it out below as he premiered it on V103 in Chicago.  The sex jam will appear on R.'s upcoming Black Panties album.

Amidst the public backlash against the "Harriet Tubman Sex Tape" spoof on his Def Digital Youtube channel, Russell Simmons did an in-depth interview with the HuffPost's Black Voices about it all. 

He explained where he dropped the ball with the controversy, what he, as an old school hip hop head, thinks about Kendrick Lamar and where the newest generation of hip hop artists are failing....

After his public persona was dealt a crushing blow with the "Harriet Tubman" Sex tape spoof backlash,  Russell Simmons attempted some damage control with an in-depth interview with HuffPost where he explains how he interpreted the spoof and why the controversy went over his head (initially).  He also talked about working on series-like projects about Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman (hmm...), and why he wishes the new generation of rappers were socially conscious like Public Enemy. 

Oh, and he talks about all the threats he dealt with during that Public Enemy era. Here are the highlights: 

You made headlines stemming from a Harriet Tubman sex tape parody that surfaced on your All Def Digital channel. Were you surprised by the backlash?

I was surprised by how big it was. I expected "B-Rock" and some of the other stuff on the channel to cause controversy, but I still maintain that comedy should push the edge. I misunderstood the underlying implications and I'm deeply sorry for that. Because I thought the slave took advantage of and blackmailed the slave master. That's what I thought. "Django," whatever…and I liked "Django." I'm not Spike Lee. I ain't a hater. I thought "Django" was good. And I thought that's what that was.

And then once someone explained to me what it was, for the first time in 30 years I took down some content. I never took down a piece of content in my life. They shot up my office over Public Enemy. They had people under the desk hiding. Snipers were outside of my office. I was told not only would they throw me out of Columbia Records if I didn't get rid of Public Enemy, but that no other record company would take me. And I didn't quit. And now Public Enemy is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame…So I've been through it. But in this case I understood how hurt people were, especially black women. And it just made me feel like, "I don't want to do that. I don't want to be that kind of source of pain for that many people." So I pulled it down instantly when I understood it. So it is what it is. It's behind me, I hope. It's a different world.

As a father of two daughters, are you concerned with how the message from the clip may be perceived if they viewed it?

I didn't understand the clip as being nothing but her taking advantage of the slave master. One of the activists who had planned on boycotting me was at my house along with some students and I said, "You know, I didn't understand the rape thing." She said, "what about the implication that a woman has to sleep with someone to get ahead?" And I don't think that's what it said. Instead, she was taking advantage of the slave master. That's what I thought. I totally get if it reminds you of the previous rapes, because obviously it appears that she's seducing him. But it implies the previous rapes.

And so, making that jump I didn't do it. I might have a sensitivity chip missing. I made a horrible mistake and I'm deeply sorry.

Aside from the controversy, you're also in the process of developing projects based on Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman.

I'm doing a seven-part mini-series on Frederick Douglass. With serious support to develop that. And now because of this public discussion I've been talking to the family [of Harriet Tubman] and they said why don't we develop something…why not, I'm reading with every writer in Hollywood that can make Frederick Douglas, they are the same writers who can make Harriet Tubman. I have a take on Frederick Douglas, I think. We have to develop that take on Harriet Tubman. It probably won't be a mini-series. It might be. But i think it's easier to really tell a story to more people through television. People are saying it's a documentary because I mentioned it on Twitter. But no, I'm interested in doing a feature or a mini-series on a television network.

What are your thoughts on Kendrick Lamar's much-talked-about verse on Big Sean's "Control"?

I thought it was ok…It was good. I liked Jay Electronica, too. He's great. I like Kendrick Lamar. The verse was good. It's pro wrestling. It's not hurtful. Nobody got mad at him. It just gave us the chance to talk about who's the best. That's what a big part of rap is about, competition.

What's the one thing that you would like to see happen among today's hip-hop generation, musically, that's lacking from previous years?

When I first started out was one thing, but there was a moment in time where Public Enemy inspired a whole generation of people to be more conscious of what they can do for other people. More conscious of the struggle of their community. More conscious of the oppressors. I would love if they woke up in the morning and say that corporations run the country and not the people. That the politicians work for the corporations instead of the people. That this became a really normal subject matter. That the way poverty is growing, and the rich are getting richer.

I would love for all the rappers to talk about civil rights, animal rights, gay rights. I would love for them all to become progressive voices…But I've learned to accept people as they are.

Denver Nuggets guard Ty Lawson and his pregnant girlfriend Ashley Pettiford were both arrested over the weekend on charges of domestic violence. Find out more details inside....

On Saturday, an argument between Denver Nuggets guard Ty Lawson and his 6-months pregnant girlfriend Ashley Pettiford (who appeared on Season 6 of "Bad Girls Club" so, he knew what he was getting into here) sent them both to jail for domestic violence.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, police showed up at Ty's home around 9 am to find Ashley in tears after a fight with Ty (regarding him talking to another woman).

So the scene played out like an episode of "BGC."

Ashley claimed Ty pushed her onto their bed when she tried to leave their home and she responded by breaking his cell phone. Ty responded later by dunking her phone under water.  How old are we?

After taking a report, police arrested Ty for suspicion of domestic violence, as well as criminal mischief (for throwing the cell phone) while Ashley was jailed for criminal mischief (for destroying Ty's phone) and domestic violence. Both have been released on $1,000 bond.

Denver Nugget GM Tim Connelly released a statement saying he was "fully aware" of the incident but the team would have no further comment.
